I am really shocked to see pathetic services from Agarwal packers & movers and regretting to have booked Agarwal packers & movers to transport my house hold goods.

I had booked two consignments for transportation of household goods from were delivered Bangalore and Hubli to Hyderabad this month. I did not get the goods on the day requested despite of me calling persistently to the local delivery person Mr. Anand.
The goods the next day[protected], but shocked to see many of the cartons out of shape and few of kitchen cartons totally torn and many of the kitchen items missing.
As there was no power supply we couldn’t take note of things missing. However as we had paid additionally 3% on declared value as Insurance, we made a note of the same and handed it to the delivery boys.
Later we saw that, the two wheeler, fridge, small table, one framed wall-photo, shoe stand, plywood of cot damaged. There were many missing kitchen utensils which I had to buy from local shop as we couldn’t wait for getting it replaced from insurance provider. After calling many times, I could get contact number of the person concerned Mr. Ashwini to survey the damages.
He came on 22nd and said he will send a carpenter to take damaged items.
The person came on 23rd and took damaged wall – photo and spare part of the Dio to get it repaired. He said he would replace the plywood.
He said he cannot help with the fridge which has many dents and scratches.
I want to get monetary compensation for the missing items. I can produce the bills of the kitchen items bought.
I am calling Mr. Ashwini everyday about the status and he keeps saying that the person will come today or tomorrow and now he has lifting my call.
Why should I keep calling them and they are never bothered to inform us. They have never called us even once even though we are facing so much discomfort because of their indifferent attitude.
Who will pay for the mental strain we are undergoing.

Kindly request you to take note of this and get it processed ASAP so that at least I feel I have finished (far from being completed) the relocation.

    I had sent my domestic luggage hrough agarwal packers and movers from mumbai to delhi in sept 2009. Agarwal packers and movers had charged me for insurance of luggage during booking.when my luggage reached delhi there were breake for ages of y items,namey refrigerator,microwave,furniture and no of other items.I had immediately reported the matter to agarwal packers and movers.Initally for some time no one turned up from the company to attend my complaint.when I called them manier times then one of there represevtative came to take photographs.that i told that representative to get my stuff repaired.but there was no reponse for some time.then they asked me estimate for repair,which i gave them and then again there has been no response.no really disgusted.my contact no is [protected]

      This is to keep you informed that i have shifted my household items from Nagpur to Mumbai on 26th May 2011. The items booked were not delivered on given time and hence caused lots of inconvenience to me, these items were clubbed with other goods belong to some other person and the truck was dispatched on 27th evening which caused delay in delivery and damage.


      When i tried to contact BM Ravinder Kumar, he said that i need to contact Mumbai personnels to get the status of my goods & for delivery. There after he completely stopped picking up my call i have tried him several times on [protected] but no response, then finally I got status of my goods from Mr Rajesh (delivery incharge) and dushyant who helped me.


      Finally truck reached on 30th afternoon around 3.00 pm but due to labor problem it was not unloaded and again these goods are sent back for storage at biwandi and finally on 5th the goods are delivered at 8 pm and unpacking not done for any items.


      Due to all these complications and items were loaded & unloaded several times my entire crockery sets and other items are damaged which were not even properly packed, these crockery were just kept in cardboard carton without any packaging attached photographs will show the exact status. The same thing can be inquired by Mr. Sandeep ([protected]) who was delivery supervisor at the time o[censored]nloading. These kind of casual approach and packaging was not expected from packers like agarwal's.

      When i have sent the detail of items which are damaged amounting to Rs 13000/- the company official Mr Lalit Mishra called back and said the amount of Rs 2500/- can only be settled against the claim raised, the total insurance as suggested by the comapany was made of Rs 50000/- and the amount against each box was mentioned by them only.

      My humble request is to look into this matter and get the issue resolved as i have suffered a lot financially as well harrased by these people due to delay in delivery.

      Also the company official are so rude that they said that you can go any where with your complaint and if you want Rs 2500/- against the damage then call back he will send me the cheque.

      This is completly unethical from customer point of view and company is dictating their own terms.

      kindly help into this and resolve this issue asap.

      The most horrible experience with Aggarwal Packers and Movers- even we have given the advance. They sent people to move in a truck for loading and then to be unloaded in some other location to be sent to the destination. They hadn't communicated any of such a thing, and now they have been saying the direct facility would cost double the amount.
      They completely conceal the facts, and are completely a fraud.
      They are even refusing to take their staff who we didn't even use to pack or load the things, and even with the advance which they wouldn't return they are asking us to pay to the staff for petrol and so about 5000 rupees.
      What a scam these people are. Please take action against them.

      The head office who was in contact was Ms. Renu and Mr. Vikas Attri from Jalandhar location.
      My consignment was booked on 04.04.2023 from Patna to Kolkata. with GC number 4813148. After lapse of 10 days, it was delivered except one valuable box on 16.04.23 in Kolkata. About one missing box, they have tried to misguide me. But after lapse of approx 50 days, no solution is made. In that box I had many valuable things. I think it is pre planned of DRS group to hide the items and provide some money as settlement. .

        I had sent my 4 wheeler - Opel Astra along with my household items on 24th may through Agarwal Packers and movers DRS group. The car has not reached home and the consigned no. is (CG[protected] and been sent from Pune to Bangalore. Mr. Ramniwas Sharma ( [protected]) had surveyed the goods of mine in Pune. Till today I have not received the Car.

        We were asked to follow it up with Mr. Hava Singh - Bangalore( [protected]) and OP Sharma (Go-down in charge) . Initially the response was there was no driver and there was no diesel etc We were asking for the go-down and main branch address and carrier details. We were not given the details even after 10 days follow-up and their regular response "I WILL GET BACK TO YOU IN 10 MINUTES" which never happened. After a harsh discussion with them, we got the address and visited the go-down.

        We were shocked to see the car condition – the complete electrical system was removed. The Audio set is stolen. The car is damaged at the rear end. When we asked the go-down in charge, we were asked to contact main office, Bangalore. We got Mr. Kumar ([protected]) no and when we reached out, it was diverted to Administrative officer. She said that the operation team would contact us in 10 minutes. We got a call from Mr. Raghu ([protected]) saying he would update us on the same before 5'o clock. Now it is been 7 days we approached him. He has the standard answer again "I WILL GET BACK TO YOU IN 10 MINUTES". For him every time we call, we need to repeat our case. Losing hope on this guy, we tried again Mr. Kumar and got the same answer "I WILL GET BACK TO YOU IN 10 MINUTES". It is 18 days since we sent our Car and there is no response on our calls and the car is also not delivered.

        It is really shocking about Agarwal's service which is supposed to be No.1 as per the ratings. Though it was expensive in the market, I had chosen Agarwal because of the name.

        Fortunately, we have taken the pictures of Ramniwas Sharma and the group who had packed our goods. I am going to lodge FIR against them. Can anyone suggest me the procedure and days it would take for me to win this in consumer court?

        you must have given goods consignment note . is it prepared by agarwal packers & movers or by other company. same way, you would have been provided bill/ payment receipt, can you provide the scan copy of the same to undermention e-mail i.d. so that we can help you in this matter.         Thank you for your extended help. I have sent the scan copy of it. We got a call from Operation team saying that the car we will be delivered as it is within 2 days. It is almost 10 days since we got the call and no sign of delivery :(.
        I have also faced similar kind of approach from M/s Agarwal Packers & Movers. They are very bad Packers & Movers.
        I have moved my goods from Pune to Hyderabad and 4th August 2012 till its not reached and they Supervisor Mr.Vansant Kumar ([protected])
        has not giving proper update when it will reach to Hyderabad.Vasant Kumar is not having how speak to customer.Its worst response.

          Sir,

          My house hold goods was despatched from gurgaon / agra to mumbai thro drs group - agarwal packers & movers vide g c no. 4138865 dt. 25 january, 2011 and i paid the company an amount of rs. 42, 000 / - thro cheque no. 323385 dt. 27 / 01 / 2010 on hdfc bank ltd. , sector 31 - 32, a, gurgaon for the services to pack, pick up, transportation of house hold goods from gurgaon - agra to mumbai residance, un load & assemble the goods at mumbai residance and if any brakage of goods happen, then the company will pay me the cost of goods. At mumbai, i found some furniture & crockery in broken condition which i mentioned in their acknowledgement slip. After a fortnight, i recd a call from co`s mumbai office that my claim is under process and it will be settled shortly, since then no claim is settled nor they reply properly for my claim. I also e mailed them several times but didn`t get their reply in the matter.

          So, please do the needful action against the co.

            Hi,

            I had approached to Agarwal Movers and Packers in mid April 2011 for quotation. Mr Ravindra Pandey gave me the quotation and I tentatively told him May end will be the transfer date. he asked me to confirm 15 days in advance. I called him again mid May to confirm the date as 29th May 2011 but he was on leave and suggested to contact Gautam Rai.

            I called gautam Rai and confirmed the date and he said that the packing will be done on the said date. I again foloowed up four times and asked for some kind of confirmation, but again he verbally confirmed.

            A day before when I again called up to confirm the time he said that the transfer has not been confirmed, I was really shocked and followe up wit Gautam and Ravindra and somehow they gave a confirmation in the evening that the people will be there at 10.00 AM.

            Next day I waited at 10.00 AM but they arrived at 1.00PM, the packing people arrived just with bare minimum material and did not have the wooden cartons for TV and fridge and also special cartons for crockery and delicate items. in the quotation they had billed for the above packing.

            I am really surprised at the unprofessionalism and also would request Agaewal Packers & Movers to return the money that they had fraudelently accounted for in the quoation without providing the actual service.

              My entire house hold goods have been damaged by M/s agarwal packers and movers.
              G. C. number 4154754 and 4154755 dated 31-3-11.
              goods were insured for rs 1.0 lacks by them only


              all the household goods like, FRIDGE, TV, DINING TABLE, DRESSING TABLE, CRNTRAL TABLE, DOUBLE BED,AC, MICROWAVE, MIRROR,PAINTINGS, CROCKERY, DINNER SET etc etc damaged.

                Dear sir,
                This is complaint regarding Aggarwal Packers and Movers with office in Chennai. He took charge of shifting my household goods from chennai to kolkata on 8th april. We took an insurance also but it seems he has not taken any insurance and charged insurance amount from us. After reminding him everyday for damaged goods, the owner is saying that if I wnat to take legal action then I can...he will not do anything. His name is Vikash from www.aggarwalpackersmovers.in. I mailed him many times and spoke to him over phone also but in vain. Our goods are damaged and my wife also became sick because of the heavy cost incurred in getting goods and now repairing them. We are tortured physically goods and mentally as well.
                Please help us on urgent basis. I have all the bills and other invoices.

                  My name is Ashish Bodhankar and I recently moved to Mumbai from New Delhi. i had opted for the services of Agarwal Packers and Movers (Dilip Roadline Services, Hyd).

                  Right from the day of packing there has been a lot of delay and no communication from the company. They shipped the packing material to some other location and instead of 10:30 AM in the morning came to my house at 1:30 PM. The truck left my house in Delhi on 31st March and was promised the delivery on April 4th. However, when i called up the driver on 4th (as i did not receive any communication), he told that the truck malfunctioned in Jaipur and further he has no idea. I literally called 5 different people several times only to know that my household will come on April 7th and will be delivered on April 8. However, again no one informed me about the delivery as the truck did not come April 7 and came late night on April 8. Finally i received my goods on April 9.

                  During the 10 days, i had to follow up a lot. Even the North Region head did not respond as promised. He had no clue and rather talked rudely. All the while, i was just asking them to give me correct update and stick to the deadline that they promise.

                    This is a complaint against agarwal packers and movers (The one having its head office at secenderabad, unit of drs logistics) i would like to advise readers to avoid using the services of the company.
                    Agarwal packers & movers is a company of cheats and are looting customers, in the name of some past goodwill and some recommendations from few well known personalities, which they advertise on their website and brochure.
                    I made the unfortunate decision to shift my house hold goods from pune to noida with agarwal packers & movers. I had booked a closed container, and was assured that the same vehicle would deliver my goods, and the money was charged for the entire container.
                    My troubles started after the order was confirmed – the vehicle arrived about 8 hours late and the dispatch was done late at night.
                    I was forced to pay the entire charges upfront, and i did not have an option as my goods was already in their custody.

                    • the transit took 12 days tough it was assured it would be done in 5 days
                    • there was no response from customer care and no tracking of the vehicle.
                    • the goods was delivered in a different truck (Uncovered local truck) in damaged condition. The condition of the packages was terrible when it was delivered. Altough the company had charged for the entire container, the goods was transferred in “part load”
                    • there were serious damages to furniture – the legs of wooden sofa are broken beyond repair, other furniture badly scratched and damaged.
                    • glass items are broken, washing machine damaged and items are missing from cartons.
                    The goods are insured, but agarwal packers and movers is refusing to pay compensation. As the entire money is taken upfront, there is nothing i can do.
                    The customer care (Including the customer care at their head office) does not respond to repeated calls and most of the phone calls are never answered.
                    Agarwal packers & movers is cheating people – they charge for closed containers and they transfer the goods in open trucks which are cheaper. The commit before the deal is finalized, and later they cheat
                    There is no customer care or support and they donot pay for damages, even when they charge for transit insurance.
                    Please avoid agarwal packers & movers for your own benefit.

                    yes i too faced the same problem it is worst experience with this packer and mover, they lost one of our cartoon which had some important house hold items.details i will post soon if i will not get my goods soon.can we put a police complaint or go for consumer forum.
                    These people are the biggest cheaters...and non professional also...they are no 1 liers and never take any interest in resolving the problem...

                    One should never take their service...even their top management are useless and do not reply to any mail...how these guys run their business...does MD has any information what is happening in the company or he is one of them..

                      I had heard accolades about Agarwal packers and movers , however my experience is pathetic .

                      Basing on best feedback and discussion with your MD I have opted for Agarwal packers and movers to shift my household from Navi Mumbai to Gurgaon. (Haryana)

                      Please find my observations:

                      1. I opted for container to container and paid accordingly. --- They changed the container and dumped all my luggage .
                      2. My Scooter is damaged (body and lights) .
                      3. Cots are damaged
                      4. Chairs are scratched.


                      To my horror I am still awaiting for your carpenter from the last 1 week to fix my almirahs which has still not happened.

                      I now understand that once the customer pays up you guys are least bothered.

                      I have spoken to “N” number of people from your transport but of no use.

                      I was told that the surveyor and the carpenter would come in a day and I am still awating .

                      All your people have a stopped answering my calls.

                      Respond to me on this ASAP. Else I would consider this fit to be taken to consumer court and legal options.

                      No thanks and would also ensure that no one opts for this pathetic transport. You guys should have known how strong is word of mouth.

                      I have faced exactly the same harassment while shifting with the same packers. Im wondering if your problem is resolved after talking to their MD. Can you please pass on the MD contact details so I can persue my case?

                      No the issue is not resolved. I was not able to contact their MD. Their surveyor came forward offering some peanuts against damage which i refused . You please ensure that you do not sign the claims form. I am getting some legal action done against the company and shall involve you also, .
                      I also faced the same issue with Agarwal Packers.
                      I was given an offer to transport my households in a closed container.
                      Finally on the shipment day they brought an open truck covered with Tarpolin.
                      Multiple discussions resulted into nothiong.
                      Finally I got the mobile no. of their MD Mr Agarwal, who promised to send a close container, which finally came.
                      To my surprise when the container arrived it was a different truck. The DRS fellow asked to make the complete payment before unloading, so you have no option.
                      This is definetly a cheating to the Customers since the actual facts are differtent then promises. One of the person informed me that they do no have enough conatiners and doing this with many customers.
                      drs aggarwal movers and packers servicing is extremely bad.I sent my household items from Delhi for Mumbai on 4TH August, 2011 and still my stuff has not come.The only response I got from various DRS numbers is the telephone numbers and names of some other officials.NO ONE HAS BOTHERED TO INFORM ME WHEN MY THINGS WOULD BE DELIVERED.THEY HAVE NO CONCEPT OF CUSTOMER CARE.MY ADVICE do not opt for this group ever
                      Hi I am facing a similar issue with DRS agarwal packers and movers. One carton out of my shipment of 14 cartons is missing and the response from the company leaves much to be desired.

                        Shifting of Indica DLS car from Udupi to Delhi

                        The consignment was booked from udupi on 22/01/11 with a committement to deliver in 5 days i.e on 27/01/11. Full advance cash payment of Rs.14000/ - was paid at udupi before booking the vehicle.

                        The car was in an excellent running condition with a total run of 29000 Kms.

                        The car has been delivered after lot of follow up on 02/02/11 i.e. after 12 days. Their representative Bhagwan sharma ([protected]) stopped lifting my phone calls after 25/01/11.

                        On delivery the following things are observed:

                        1. There is full oil spillage inside the bonet and engine oil is leaking. It seems the vehicle has been driven very rashly with unexperienced driver. It seems the vehicle has been brought driving from Udupi to Delhi. Oil pipes have been punctured and sticked to the engine with some gum or soap.
                        2. The Diesel tank was empty when delivered. Whereas during handing over Half tank diesel was available in fuel tank.
                        3. One Mud flap is missing
                        4. Front left fender lining has broken and mud has entered the engine compartment.
                        5. Coolant worth Rs.800/- has been taken out from the coolant tank.
                        6. Auto lock system speakers have been damaged & removed
                        7. Spare Halogen Head lamp bulbs 2 nos & one torch has been taken out from the front cabinet.

                        An estimate of Rs.8000/ has been given by TATA service centre (Ayush Motors-[protected]) for attending these.

                        An expense of around Rs.10000/- was done to get the car in working condition. I am requesting for reimbursement of this claim but they are not responding to my e.mails. I have already sent 12 reminders to them on this issue.

                          i had booked aggarwal packers and movers to shift my house hold material from punjab to durgapur west bengal. as they indicate that they are number 1 packers and movers but it is completely wrong. there supervisor came from chandigarh and made an estimate for rs 33000 and one day before shifting they told that the estimate was wrongly prepared it had to be 50000. i any how agread as we were to shift at the earliest possible time. the supervisor never informed at the time of taking order that hte money was to be paid in advance. on sunday the supervisor asked for money 50000 to be paid there and then. it was difficult to make arrangement on sunday but still i gave them the check. then the supervisor asked for extra money for his own pocket, which i refused and they delibrelty misplaced one carton the consignment contained 44 cartons out of which only 43 cartons reached durgapur. on complaining they said that there was no such carton. after talking to them many times they told that the carton was by mistake send to uttar pradesh.
                          they asked for ten days to deliver the carton but on calling each time they said that we cant deliver a single carton specially so when we get another order we wuould definelty deleiver u. since then i am contacting every alternate day to their claim department in charge ms. sonia who does not pick the phone since i had a talk against this carelessness. i have made around 110 calls to her in last 5 days,but she is not at all bothered to look into the matter. i donot know that why such companise keep such irresopnsible employees in their company who donot pick the pnone after misplacing precius things of customers.
                          also they are giving free gifts which are promised at the time of order but after their payment no boby gives such gifts.

                          also the cartons were packed in my presence and were delivered to my husband. at the time o[censored]npackinf cartons they did not totally empty the cartons. in the carton a pair of branded shoes( RS 5000/) were there with other house hold which was not delivered and taken back by their men.

                          the company should pay for the harasment, the mobile calling charges as well as for the misplacement. the gift promised should also be delivered.

                            I Had booked one consignment With M/s Agarwal Packers and Movers,Bhubneswer consignment no. 4104034 on 31st Oct 2010 from Lanjigarh for Mansa which reached Mansa on11th Nov 2010.

                            I had to pay Rs.500 (Rs Five Hundred only) as unloading Charges as there was no unloading labour available with the truck. Also Material could not be unpacked as no unpacking labour was available. Charges for both these unloading and unpacking were already paid by me in the bill.

                            Also after unpacking of material, it was found that AC front panel was broken and it reached in a very bad condition, the same was informed to M/s Agarwal Packers and Movers through mail. The AC was already insured by M/s Agarwal Packers for any damage, but as the repairing charges of AC was approx Rs 5000 so thought of disposing it off and the same was already conveyed to the party over phone and they agreed to the same. However, I have not disposed off the AC till date and requested them to take necessry action from their end. But M/s Agarwal Packers and Movers are not willing to refund me any money for unloading, unpacking and reairing of AC.

                            You are requested to intervene in the matter and help me in getting my claim o[censored]nloading, unpacking and AC damages.

                            Agarwal Packers and Movers — delay in service and continuous increase in the price

                            This was the most pathetic experience from the SO CALLED India's no.1 packers. They promised to move my baggage in 6500 and said that the person will come at 7pm who finally turned at 10.0PM on that day. When they moved my luggage from IIT to panvel, they had charged 8500 which was 2000 more than what was decided.
                            Then I asked them to shift the luggage from Panvel to Bangalore which is not yet done and it's been more than 15 days now. Every day I call them up and they say that they will pick it up the next day but that day has not yet come. One day their person cam to collect it and he was asking for 1000 more to shift the same luggage for NO REASON and on denial he ran away stating the lie that he was going to have dinner from which he never came back. I have almost spent more than 200 Rs in STD calls and many of times they just pick the phone and hang it up saying call up tomorrow. When you give them the order they will call you 100 times but when you pay them some amount then the behavior changes drastically. You will never get calls and promised times and then out of frustration you have to call them up again and again and if you are fortunate then you end up talking to them. Every time you are made to talk to different person and at times few of them start fighting with you on phone and say a stuff like "assume that I have ran away taking your money". Till now I have received VERY BAD response from them and recommend NOT TO GO FOR IT. PLEASE PLEASE READ THE REVIEWS ON NET BEFORE GIVING YOUR VALUABLE LUGGAGE TO ANY SCRAPPED COMPANY.

                              I gave my luggage to be delivered from Chennai to Vadodara on 13th Jan 2011. (Order no , 4114878)
                              At max, I should have received it by 20th Jan 2011.
                              My luggage came here at 21st Jan and then they forgot to unload it in Vadodara.
                              It went all way back to Hyderabad, their head office and I am yet to receive it (today is 29th)

                              I have contacted everyone in their office. Their customer care, operation head etc etc.
                              But one of the worst experience with movers and packers.
                              I am not even getting any compensation for that.

                                With at most frustration and lost faith in the service provided by Agarwal Packers and Movers (DRS: responsible for taking and delivering the packages), I forced to raise the complaint in the public forum. Detailed of the incident mentioned below:

                                We booked the packaging service from Agarwal Packers and Movers (Packaging manged by DRS group) for shifting the house hold stuff (Contact Person in Bhopal: Shamsher/Roshan: [protected]) for 7th of this month. As promised and paid for 24 ft container but instead 20 ft container came at our disposal. We made a upfront payment and did not complained a bit for bringing 20 ft container instead of 24 ft (which we paid for). Few stuff where send through some different container and which is yet to be received. My two major concern and because of which my parents are heavily suffering are as follows:

                                - Major damages for the following materials and we are still running behind for claiming the insurance. Everytime we get new excuses and new promises but all lies and nothing else. Still no guy comes to evaluate the damage.We have been following from past 2 weeks :(

                                Corners of newly brought Sofa
                                Bike
                                Minor damages to household materials
                                Damage to dinning table and tepoy
                                Damage to bedding and few more.

                                - We yet to receive remaining stuffs from second container and have absolutely no clue about it status.

                                It has been 2 weeks and there is no concrete response from these people. I have shooted a mail ([protected]@drsindia.in,[protected]@drsindia.in) to AGM of this packers based in Cochin but still no response.I am loosing my patience and time. Why we suffer for no fault of others. I request and appeal to all those who really going to book through these packers. Make sure nothing of this kind happens to you.

                                I really want to file a case against these people so they should be sincere in there work and show some respect to there customer. Any idea how can I go ahead and make them pay for there mistake.

                                  Recently i shifted to Mumbai and hired the services of Agarwal Packers & Movers to shift my car to mumbai. They charged exorbitantly and promised safe delivery of my new veichle. but to my horror my car was badly damaged, mirror shattered and tyre of my new car stolen. It caused my new car damages upto 1 lac. When i confronted them they did not picked up the phone nor took responsibility of the damages nor compensated me so far. Worst services tall claims , noboy should give any business to such third class company and irrresponsible people.

                                    Please find below a summary of my experience in using the services from Agarwal Packers, DRS Group (www.agarwalpackers.in) for household and car shifting from New Delhi to Hyderabad vide Invoice Number: 4106137 -

                                    Timeline

                                    · The households promised to reach by morning Sat, Jun 12 reached on evening Sun, Jun 13 WITHOUT ANY prior notice. I called up on Fri, Jun 11 as well to confirm and was told that the consignment will reach the next morning. This affected my entire plan, and I along with family was left HELPLESS with NO accommodation in a new city, thereby incurring an ADDITIONAL COST of ~Rs. 5,000 (towards hotel and local travel expenses)

                                    · The car promised to reach by Jun[protected] days) reached on Jun 23 (14 days) with NO prior notice

                                    · On the loading day, the executives reached at 12:00 noon (committed for 10 am) and WITH NO packing material. The materials reached at 3:30pm, and the loading completed at 12:00 MID-NIGHT. The executives did NOT even bother to leave the house in a living condition at this odd hour

                                    · The executive in Hyd supposed to report for the survey of delivered households on Jun 19 HAVE NOT reported as yet, despite repeated follow-ups



                                    Payment

                                    · The terms of payment (60% upfront and 40% on delivery) agreed upon by Sombir Singh was NOT adhered to. I was forced to make the entire payment, 10 days ahead of delivery of the car



                                    Unresponsive

                                    · The sales person (Sombir Singh) did not seem to have ANY RESPONSIBILITY, besides giving a quote. He did NOT answer his mobile most of the times, and NEVER called back giving false promises

                                    · There was an instance, wherein he was supposed to return my call in 15 minutes to confirm the Hyderabad guys the payment terms agreed upon with him. NEITHER did he call back NOR was he bothered to answer my call DESPITE 40-50 REPEATED ATTEMPTS from my end

                                    · There was NO single point contact (both in Delhi and Hyderabad) provided to track the status of consignment. In the entire process, I received 6-7 mobile numbers, which were NOT responsive and the executives NEVER bothered to call back after committing

                                    · The delivery person in Hyd (Patil) NEVER bothered to call back after committing



                                    Packaging

                                    · The packing material DID NOT include suit boxes (besides the delay), and the supervisor was very RELUCTANT to use fresh cartons for the packing

                                    · Permanent marker was used for numbering directly on some of the households (which will STAY FOREVER)



                                    Others

                                    · There was ZERO level of coordination between the Delhi and Hyderabad executives, and it seemed I was dealing with TWO SEPARATE COMPANIES during loading and delivery

                                    · The executives, both during loading and loading, were shameless to demand high tips (which I never denied for in expectation of a decent level of service)

                                    · On asking if I will be compensated for the delay and harassment after I make the payment, one of the executives asked not to worry and that he WILL arrange for a refund



                                    Damages:



                                    1. Wooden almirah handle damaged

                                    2. Sliding side box in one of the beds broken

                                    3. Aquaguard filter found in wet condition damaging the internal PCB/IC (i have already gotten this repaired at a cost of Rs. 2,000, given it is NOT possible to wait for the surveyor to ensure drinking water supply at home)



                                    Given the above, my total cost reached Rs. 52-55K, besides the harassment caused (far higher than the service worth I received). In addition, they were NOT equipped to take care of the damages and just DID NOT bother to take any actions.

                                      With the Trust that the company has a name and standing in the area of work that is claims it does, I called upon for their service for packing and shifting the entire household items from Mumbai to Bellary. The man who came for evaluation, claimed all the BIG PROMISES the company acts about....and never does. On the day of the packing, I realise that the CRATES that the company claims never landed and the Truck which came to load was a local one and not DRS. On asking, and enquiring, they claimed that since they did not have any branches in Bellary, they were not arranging for the DRS logo vehicle and the CRATES, as was promised to me initially. With the hell falling apart, I had to give in to get the packing done as the tickets to leave were booked and I could not change over the last minute. The Insurance policy was also taken for 3 lakhs and the policy was not handed over. We had asked for a full cover of the policy. The Supervisor at the site mentioned that the Policy would reach us within the next 8 days of packing at the residential address. The Policy reached us only after about 30 days, and that too Transit. we were CHEATED. On arrival, my husband realises that the Computer Table made of Bhutan Wood value of Rs.10000 was completely broken (irrepairable) and had to be thrown out of the house. On asking the company, they immediately responded stating that the Insurance policy would be evaluated and the claim will be paid back to us. After two months of following up daily, we come to understand from them that since the policy is a Transit one, we cannot claim any damages. CHEATED from the beginning to the end. If this is why they claim themselves to be the best....then believe me they are...the best ones to cheat you. On arriving in the city, we realise that there are many DRS vehicles plying. So please be sure before you book your goods with the company.

                                        I have transfered my house hold on : 24. 07. 2009 from hyderabad - andhra pradesh to bharuch - gujarat.

                                        Unfortunately, during transportation, truck met with an accident & as risk was with transporter, claim accessment done.

                                        After follow up nos of times i got cheque in the mont of august. Same deposited to bank but bounced due to un - clear date.

                                        Same i have communicated nos of time for the same, but till date i haven't received claim amount cheque.

                                        Agarwal Mover and Packers — Damage Claim

                                        I had engaged Agarwal Mover and Packer in October 2009 to move my household goods from CHennai to Ghaziabad. The truck arrived in November week 1, and there was considerable damage to some of the items. Because I had covered my household items under insurance with Agarwal Mover and Packer, their evaluator came and did an evaluation of 5000/- as claim. this was in week 4 of Novermber'2009. Its been 4 months ever since, and I am yet to receive my cheque. everyday, i am told that the cheque will be delivered in 3 days but those 3 days have been coming since the last 4 months. Is there something that we can do to get this closeD?
