I availed Packers and Movers services for shifting my household articles and car from Chennai to Navi Mumbai (CBD Belapur) in the month of November 2012. Agarwal Packers and Movers executive Mr. Ratan (Mobile numbar[protected] gave me a final quote of Rs. 40, 000 plus Insurance charges subject to decleration of the value of the goods. As I was in a hurry to report for duty at Navi Mumbai, I paid an amount of Rupees 50, 000 by HDFC Bank cheque No 547257 dated 01.11.2012 with an assurance by Mr. Ratan that balance amount will be refunded by them in next 10 working days by way of Account Payee Cheque. Two Goods Consignment bearing number 833500 & 833501 dated 03.11.2012 for house hold articles and four wheeler were issued by your organization. Even after a lapse of 1 Year and 7 Months, I have not received a refund of Rs. 7, 000/-. I have spoken to their executive as well as their call centre several time and got assurance, but till date no refund has been made. In view of the above, I once again request to kindly look into the matter and make the refund at the earliest.

I am writing this mail after getting a pathetic service by DRS DILIP ROADLINES PVT. LTD, which resulted in to damaged goods delivery. They took 100% payments in advance of goods delivery and after opening the packs I found more than 60% items as damaged.

It seems that all the items have been thrown instead of properly carrying it. My more than 60% of the items are damaged.

The service offered by you, had tarnished the Agarwal packer's image of NUMBER 1 in households delivery. Because if you cant handle the goods properly you do not deserve a good reputation in the movers n packers market.

Below is the story in short-

I have booked for my households transfer from DELHI TO VADODARA on 13th March 2014 through Delhi representative of Agarwal Movers and Packers


After a long waiting i received the consignment on[protected]. I paid a huge amount(Rs 33225) for the shipment of consignment, with a promise that the goods will be delivered ontime and in good shape. I paid 10000 rs extra in comparison to other movers and packers assuming i will get a good service

Due to poor skills of your employee, i had wasted my two days in recieving the goods at baroda location and finally when i recieved the goods it was damaged.

I WANT A Complete REPLACEMENT OF ALL DAMAGED GOODS AS THEY ARE DAMAGED TO THE EXTENT THAT THEY ARE USELESS NOW.


I UNDERGONE TREMENDOUS PAIN DUE TO THE POOR SERVICE OFFERED BY YOU. YOUR UN-PROFESSIONAL BEHAVIOUR CAUSED BOTH WORK LOSS AND GOODS LOSS TO ME.

After giving so many mails and calls to DRS Agarwal Vadodara team, no response i am getting. Please look into it.

I booked transportation of my car from Goa to Kolkata from agarwal movers and packers limited, Panaji, Goa on 28 feb 2014 through consignment no GOA 001053.I was told i would get delivery in 15-20 days. Even after repeated reminders and request they have not given delivery of my car.They have been making only false Promises and giving excuses every time I call them up.In addition they have crossed the limit of telling lies about the Actual delivery status of my car. 24 days for delivery of a car is unacceptable and seem not at all bothered about it. I had shifted my household goods by AgarwalPackers from Bangalore to Howrah on 8th March.It was told that this will reach destination within 7-8 days.It's already been 11 days and my goods is not delivered.GC/LR number for my shipment is BNG005063.I called up customer care in bangalore and they told goods has reached destination and and provided me a number for scheduling delivery.I called up the person named Ranbeer Sharma([protected]).He told me my goods has yet not reached!!What kind of pathetic service you provide!!Please deliver my goods to the destination address As Soon As Possible.My contact number is [protected].Reach out for details.

I had to hire packers and movers services to move within bangalore. While the local packers and movers quoted around Rs.6, 500/- for the same, Agarwal quoted Rs.13, 000/-. I still thought i would go with Agarwal and they were supposed to be professional and you can be sure that your goods would be safe and you can have a hassle free shifting experience. The actual experience was however, otherwise. They send a person to come and inspect your households and to give a quote. While every other person from other movers quoted and hoped you would hire them, the guy from Agarwal quoted and asked for money just for the quote. I had to pay him a 100 bucks for the same. They then promised that they would send a supervisor on the day of shifting. A group of 5 came on the day of shifting and they said one among them was the supervisor. While they were packing and lowering my cupboard worth Rs.20, 000/-, they dropping it from the 2nd floor and is now broken to pieces. Not one had the courtesy to even apologize and worse, after unpacking, the so called supervisor demanded for money. I was so pissed off and gave him 100 bucks so that i dont have to see their faces again. And he had the balls to demand for more. He said atleast a 100 bucks per person, including the driver and took off 600 bucks from me. 600 bucks and 100 for quote and a broken cupboard beyond repair! Thats what i got for paying double to regular packers and hoping for the best experience. Complains made to the manager has not quite shown any rewards yet. Utterly disappointed and irritated with the way they function.

Agarwal packers and movers quoted rs 3500 for packing three cartons of domestic material ( not for sale ) but in the end, made a bill of Rs. 4650 which he convinced me to pay. It was only later that i realized that i had been fooled. The goods were to be transported from pune to varanasi.
He charged the followin extra which, accordin to me, are not applicable :
Octroi Rs. 450 (which is not applicable for domestic goods )
Extra Rs 200 (based entirely on its whims and fansies. The transporter told me himself that this is the amount which he is supposed to pocket )
Other Rs 200 ( noone knows what other accounts for )
Documentation Rs. 200
Insurance Rs. 300 (i recieved no insurance number or acknowledgement . They say they charge insurance at the rate of 10 percent and ask me to quote the price of my package. When I quoted it for rs 3000 which accordin to me would be the correct price, they forced me to quote rs. 10000 )

Complaint to Pehredar of CNBC Awaaz- 14/10/2013 Dear Sir/madam, My household goods were transported by M/S Agarwal Packers and Movers from Indore to Bangalore and delivery of the same was taken by us on 25/6/2013. The booking was made in the name of my son Pranay Gadodia. The goods were insured against any damages in transit. It was told to us that in case of damages the claim will be paid within 10 days. But after lot of follow up the some urgent replacement was given by them and it was told to them that it is not possible for us at this age to open all the packings in a short time(there were 90 packings). As other packings were opened, one plastic 3 layer rack and one large photo frame was found damaged. It was informed to them immidiately, this is on 3/7/2013. (Mr. Gyanendra Singh cell no [protected] at Bangalore). Again this time also after lot of follow up their carpenter came and found that it cannot be repaired and I made a note on their damage sheet about the two damages worth Rs 550/- total. Though here the cost of the damage is not much, it is the attitude and treatment of one of the reputed transporter who claim to be Limca book of Records holder. Later I reminded them on1/9/2013 and 19/9/2013, about the pending claim amount of Rs 550/- on which they had written on 2/9/2013 and 19/9/2013 respectively, that the checque will be dispatched within a week’s time. But till today I have not received the checque. Moreover when I tried to see on their website for accessing a senior responsible person, it is not providing further access and address to any senior and directors etc. So you cannot go beyond this point. This has compelled me to write to you. One very poor state of practice is that these people collect all the charges before starting from the source station. And when such things happen you go on chasing them for claims. There should be rule, that the transporter cannot collect not more than 50-75% of the fare and rest will be collected after satisfactory handing over the goods to the consignee. Dear Sir/Madam, I have got my luggage and house-hold shifted from Kolkata to Pune by Agarwal packers and movers. I have received all my belongings on 28th Sept 2013 but found that my Hitachi fridge body is completely damaged. They have put nail into the body of the fridge at 3 places and also dented the base of the fridge where the coil is present. I have checked with Hitachi, they are saying that this is not repairable and it needs to be replaced. Hitachi has sent a authorized Email with this information. I have forwarded this email to Agarwal packers but they are saying that they need a Hitachi letter head to claim the insurance. When I am calling the Claiming officer of Agarwal packers Pune - Vikram Bhatti([protected]), he is telling me to get information from Hitachi on letter head. He is telling the same things round and round. Whereas this thing should be done by him. My question is : Why should I run behind people, when the mistake is done by Agarwal packers? It is almost a week and the fridge is still in same condition. The fridge cost Rs. 45, 000. More of all, Agarwal packers did not pack the fridge as they promised to do so. They did not use bubble wrapper or thermocol. They only covered the fridge with cardboard paper. Please help me get the insurance for my expensive fridge.

It was my 4th time moving... this time from Kolkata to Hyderabad, I had not used Agarwal ever, so I chose them. For official purpose I had to submit 3 quotes to my company and clearly Agarwal was more than double the quote of others. Still I forced my company to choose them as they HAD a goodwill in the market. They take payments 100% in advance, I paid too.

MISTAKE, at the end of it all the items they broke are:

Dining table, Chair, TV, Crockeries (around 6 items), curios (around 18 items) and one of my cartons with important documents never arrived.

Insurance... They also asked me to pay insurance on those goods, which I did, they have a smart way to deal with that too. Insurance says that within 24 hours of delivery I have to file my complaint. Agarwal conveniently arrives on a Sunday morning and gives me a call at 3.30 AM (the truck driver) I did not pick up as I was asleep. They coolly register arrival at 3.30 AM on Sunday, when I called back during the day... they said its a sunday and will only be able to come on Monday morning. They did come on Monday morning 7 am, only workers arrived no supervisor or manager. workers don't have any idea of paper work. Finally a young 22 yr old arrives at 4pm claiming to be supervisor and he too has no idea about paperwork. When I discover the broken items he says he will compensate with money. Insurance lapsed as it was beyond 24 hrs of goods arrival... Sunday 3.30am... once those guys left my house, till date, they have not answered my calls nor did they return calls which I made thru other numbers... basically washed their hands off.

I do not know how i will put them to justice? any idea is welcome. I gave similar review on Just Dial site from where I got their number.

JUST DO NOT USE THEM IF YOU ARE THINKING ABOUT SHIFTING. Double the money and GAURANTEED DOUBLE the trouble.

Subject: Pathetic service by Agarwal packers & movers.

They claim they are an ISO 9001:2000 certified company, however their service is the worst I have experienced.

We booked them for packing and moving to Chennai. A bunch of guys came and started packing as if they were in a hurry, picking up all things they could see in their vicinity and dumping them into boxes without any arrangement. One example for you all to understand is they started packing cds and utensils together. They just dumped a can full of oil into a box without asking us; without sealing its lid and you can imagine what would have happened later.

They call themselves experts but our dining table reached in broken and bent condition. Our washing machine was not packed properly and it reached in a damaged condition never to be used again. Our microwave oven is damaged. There is no end to the damage.

To top it all, they advertise everyday in the newspaper that they provide "free food coupons at destination", "free one way air tickets", "free drop to station/airport" , "free.....free....." etc... all false claims. We received nothing.

Such companies which bear false claims and delivery pathetic service like this should be blacklisted.

I relocated from Ghaziabad to Chennai on 4th May.
I gave my luggage to Agarwal packers and movers(www.agarwalpack.co/) on the same day. It has its main branch in New Delhi.


Initially they told me that my luggage would come to Chennai within 8 days. But even after 25 days, they have not transported my luggage to Chennai. They have been telling me that my luggage would come to Chennai tomorrow/day after tomorrow....like that , for the last three weeks.

Since I am chennai, I am unable to go to police station in NCR region.

Please help me in this regard.

Pl. note that I have engaged M/s Agarwal Packers & Movers Ltd, for shifting of my household luggages from Bangalore to Kolkata vide Consignment No. 981482 on 02.05.2013 which has been reached in kolkata on 11.05.2013 but most of the things are in totally broken/damaged condition. As the company have taken around Rs. 40000/- payment before delivery & made insurance coverage of Rs. 50000/-, their eastern HQ Kolkata are not at all responding to the proper compensation/response towards damarage and making the things delayed inordinately and now not even responding to the phone calls. They have also not given any complaint no. inspite of repeated calls even in customer care nos.

Kindly help against such poor service and adopting malpractice by Agarwal Packers & Movers Ltd.

i took the service of Agarwal movers and packers for shifting my scooty fom Delhi to bangaore and some damage was there they told that hey will refund my money after i will send them bill.But after 4 months also they did not refund my money.Please help

I contacted the customer care of Agarwal Packers and Movers to shift my house hold goods from Ghaziabad (UP) to Indore (MP). As a result Mr. Sombir Singh visited my house to make a survey and offered following quotes:


1. Part Delivery – in which the goods will be loaded and unloaded multiple times and transported in a sharing container, Delivery Time - 3 Days and charges Rs.20000/- + Service Tax + Insurance

2. Direct Delivery – in which the goods will be loaded at door and directly transported to the destination in the same truck Delivery Time 5 Days and Charges Rs35000/- + Service Tax + Insurance

As I had urgency due to commencement of the new session of school of my daughters at Indore, I opted for the 2nd option. Even when the packers came to my house for packing I reconfirmed with Mr. Sombir Singh that the truck will directly go to Indore and will take around 3 days. Subsequently, my goods were loaded on April 1, 2013 and I locked the Truck after loading of my goods. Despite all my goods were delivered on April 7, 2013.
I had a horrible experience and following disappointments with the services of Agarwal Packers and Movers:

1. There was no information provided by the office of Agarwal Packers and Movers. When I called on [protected] the person on the other side of the phone initially asked to revert in half an hour but never did so, on giving the reference of my repeated call they used to say “Kal Pahunch Jayega” and the same sentence continued for six days.

2. After Seven Days, the goods reached in a very poor shape wherein the packages were torrned goods were damaged.

3. On mentioning the terms of contract your representative started saying this is how we do every day. If you wish you get the truck unloaded or else I will take it back.

4. After repeated e-mails to Mr. Mukesh Agarwal, only five items were repaired with patches and marks for other damaged and the lost items there has been no response.

In this regard I request for clarifacation/compensation of the following:

A) When the contract for full truck load and direct delivery was made and payment was receipt for the same by your company why did your employees broken the lock, shifted the goods, mishandled and damaged them.

B) Compensation for the mental agony my whole family went through on account of delay in delivery for four days and no clear information being provided day after day.

C) Compensation for the loss of study of my daughters.

D) Compensation for the expenses on account of my stay for four days in Indore waiting for the goods to arrive.

E) Compensation for the damage of goods for which your company has charged the insurance premium @3% of the goods value.

I look forward to resolution of the matter at earliest possible.

I had used their services to transport my stuff from Bangalore to Mumbai. They made me wait for 3 hours for loading as they did not have a container to load stuff. The packing boys demanded more money and did not even return change on the bill. In Mumbai, the delivery was promised at 3pm but did not come until 8.30pm, they was no reply from their side and we had to call up multiple people to track and nobody was professional. the boys were not taking any care while unpacking and because of late night did not even unpack entirely.

They are just charging premium for a sub standard service and take advance payment in full so that they can do what they feel like and not service anymore. The staff is very rude and no complaint system in place, the toll free number gives you a number to call on your own and follow up, there was no service complaint number shared and neither nobody called to check.

This is to bring in to you kind notice that my consignment is not reached to me.
It was dispatched on 27-Feb-2013 from Delhi to Hyderabad.
I enquired to just dial about Packers and Movers in Delhi and after that I received a call from S.R.Aggawal packers and Movers. Sandip introduced me that he is calling from Agrawal packers and mover (did not disclose S.R.Aggawal packers and Movers ).
Now Executive (Sandip- [protected]) is not receiving my call after many attempts every day.

Now Mr. Rajendra Aggrawal is also making excused and giving false promises.
His casual approach regarding hole episode is pathetic. They are responding few calls of my friends and giving various excuses…like shifted to kolkata by mistake, delivering by train, delivering by truck, problem in truck and many more.
Moreover they are such a fraud that their numbers, address, customer care no and email are fake. Please find the attached bill.
Kindly help me in this regards and request him to send my consignment as soon as possible.

I had used services of DRS Agarwal Packers and Movers to send my household items from Chennai to Gurgaon. Booking Date was 16 February 2013. GC No: 4298278

Following were the items sent by me:

1) 1.5 Ton Window AC
2) Refrigerator- 260 Litres
3) Steel Almira
4) 1 Suitcase
5) Mattress and Pillow
6) 2 Stabilizers (for AC and Refrigerator respectively)
7) Carton Box having miscellaneous items

I had received the consignment on March 1, 2013 but my major items, had been received in damaged condition. Following are details:

1) Refrigerator: Door is dented at several places, Feet of the refrigerator are broken. (Model: Whirpool Fusion, 260 Litres)
2) Air Conditioner: Dented at several places, Cooling Coils Dented (Model: 1.5 Ton, Carrier AC)
3) Almira: Dented at several places including base, cannot stand properly, doors not opening easily as they are dented.

Before shipping of consignment, the survey for items was conducted by Mr Dilli Babu from Chennai (Contact No: [protected]) who had assured me of complete safety of goods through use of wooden crates.

However, I was thoroughly disappointed on the day of packing itself, as sufficient packing material in the form of thermocole, bubble wrapping and wooden crates was NOT used. Mainly corrugated sheet was used for packing (with lamination). I had pointed out the same to customer feedback call that I had received from Agarwal Packers and Movers.

Now, as mentioned by me already, my major items were received in damaged condition. I had taken insurance for all items at the time of booking consignment.

Also, at the time o[censored]nloading in Gurgaon, the people that had come for delivery were asking for extra charge for unloading of items which shows the insensitivity the company has towards their customers, given the fact that my items were received in damaged condition.

I request Agarwal Packers and Movers to arrange for replacement of my household items, i.e. Refrigerator, AC and Almira which have been received in damaged condition. Please note that I had been tried to contact the company on phone then but each person that I am contacting is asking me to contact some other person within their organisation.

So I sent them an email explaining the entire issue and posted the same on their Youtube and Facebook Page after which I got a call from them. They told that they would be sending a surveyor for inspection of damaged items.

I had requested them to inform me atleast a day in advance of the surveyor's visit so that I am at home. After a few days, when nobody had visited I gave them a call and I was told that the surveyor would be reaching within 1 hour that day itself. I was in office so I had to rush back to my home.

After survey was conducted by surveyor, I got a call back from Agarwal Packers and Movers after 2 days that they can give me a compensation of Rs 4500/- in all.

I was furious as my damaged items are worth more than Rs 50000/- and since I had given my items in good condition at time of dispatching, I deserve to get back the items in good condition. But still I asked them to arrange for repair of items themselves to my satisfaction level (where repair is possible) and arrange for replacement of AC (where cooling coils were damaged and repair is not advisable). Till now I have not got any response.

Self claimed No#1 packes and movers but i found one of the worst packers and movers. Don't believe in any commitment made by sales representatives. They are completely irrresponsible and useless. These M***** hardly cares after sales. They will not come on time, do substandard work, claim department also competes with other departments of Agarwal Packers for useless and pathetic service. DON'T GO FOR JUST BIG NAME. Prefer average players in packers and movers who have good track record. Agarwal understands only drivers language and slangs. They won't listen to untill they hear good slangs from customer.

I booked agarwal packers and movers on 22jan, 2013 for shifting my luggage from noida to pune. I was told that packing will be done on 23jan, 2013 by 3:00pm. But they were so irresponsible that till 7:30 no person had come to my place. . I only kept calling them regularly to ask, when are they coming to pack the goods.
Every time i was told "hamara admi 10mins mein pahuch raha hain. . ". . I was so irritated that i kept shouting them and yelling them for such a disgusting service. . After sometime the persons in office stopped receiving my calls and then even the same was did by the person who were going to come at my place to pack my luggage. . . After all this, i some how happen to talk to the senior incharge of delhi agarwal packers, and took a compensation of rs. 800. . Total amount they were charging was 6800. . So they made it to 6000. . I had completely lost it. . Mental peace, patience, and the trust that agarwal packers show. . Since 25years and all . . !!. . So around 9:00pm my luggage was picked up. . That too in a rickshaw. . . No tempo or truck came to lift my luggage. . .
Literally in a rickshaw my luggage was stuffed forcefully. .
After completing all the necessary procedures. . . I was told luggage would reach pune in maximum 8days. . .

So here starts another story,
After 8days were over. . . I called agarwal packers on 1st feb. . .
In fact its there duty and responsibility to call and inform me about my tracking my luggage. . And give me proper status. .
But nothing as such happened. . . I was so irritated by this. . . So from 1st feb to 6th feb. . . I kept calling them and calling them. . . But
Same thing by some mr reddy saheb. . . Who god knows what he thinks about himself. . . Every time told me. . That my luggage would reach tomorrow. . . He used to say. . It has reached warehouse. . Will be reaching tomorrow at my place. . . So this happened literally for 5days. . . And till today. . I haven't got my luggage. . .
This reddy is the most idiotic person and irresponsible person. . .
The way he talks, and responds to customers is very arrogant and rude. . . Typical local gunda type he speaks. . .


So my friends. . .
Please keep this in mind. . Before dealing with agarwal packers, drs group. . .
1. They will never come on time, to pack your luggage. . . You will only have to keep calling them. . .
2. They will never provide you assistance on tracking your luggage and will also never update you regarding your luggage.
3. Some mr reddy will talk rudely to you. . And will try to show his level and will be arrogant and irresponsible in dealing with you. .
3. I was told by mr reddy that even i can file a police complaint, and in his gunda style he said, he will not allow my luggage to reach my place. . . Typical gunda accent he said" jo karna hain kar lo. . Mera luggage jab tak mein nai bolunga. . Tumhare ghar pe nai aayega. . . Police complaint karna hain toh karlo. . .
4. . So please be aware of agarwal packers and movers. . .
I have lost my mental peace, my money in calling them again and again. My patience for such a disgusting and arrogant behavior by reddy. .
5. They don't have a bit respect for their customers and you will regret that why did you invest your money. . That is what i am feeling. .

Sir, I am a armed forces officer and had hired Aggrawal Packers And Movers, DRS Dilip Roadlines Pvt Ltd on 21 Dec2012 To transport my car i10 from Bangalore to Srinagar.
