I had engged the services of Agarwal Packers and movers for packing loading transportation unloading unpacking and rearranging of house hold goods items from Delhi to Bangalore. They had assured that the same contained will travel to Bangalore and will not be transhipped anywhere in between.

The agency had sent their packing labours on 25th May 2008 at 1100 Hrs and the packing materials were brought along with them. The closed container truck was placed for loading transportation. They started packing with cartons and adhesive tapes. The quality of adhesive tapes was very bad and was not properly sealing. Many times they were coming loose and when I reminded them to get a better tape, they argued with me saying it wont harm. At the end of the day they were in a hurry to load the goods without properly packing. When I started monitoring, they some how completed the job with poor quality of packing. When the loading was completed I enquired about approximate time that it would reach Bangalore. They repeatedly confirmed that it won't take more than 4 days. Based on their asurance we planned to travel to Bangalore on 29th May 2008. When we checked their website for the status of the truck carrying our goods it was always showing it's location as "at the Maharashtra and Karnataka Border". Whenevr we enquired their officials on helpdesk, everyone were giving different status. I was very tensed as I had to rushback to Delhi for work on 3rd June 08. After great follow up the truck arrived on 1st June 2008 evening at our apartment in Bangalore.
On arrival, to our horror first it was noticed that the truck which brought our goods was different from the one which was loaded at Delhi. It was not closed container but a small open carrier. When I enquired the Agarwal officials initially they could not provide any proper reasons for this mes up. After insistance and follow up it was told that due to brakedown of truck carrying our goods, they had to shift the goods to another carrier. However it was noticed that while shifting the goods they had not taken proper care and many items were damaged. One of my study table which has travelled with me for all 5 places, in last 22 years, had lost its one of the leg due to poor handling by the traporters personnel. One of the centre table leg as broken. All the sofa furnitures legs had developed cracks. I lost three pillows for which they could not give any reasons.

One week later after continuous follow up one person turnd up for assesment and informed that he can give only Rs 4000/- for all the damages.

We felt disgusting about the servces of Agarwal packers and movers (the DRS group unit Co).

Though I had utilised the services of Agarwal packers and movers in past, this time experines was very bad and I have notived that their services is deteriorating as the time passes.

I would not recommend anyone to use the services of Agarwal Packers and Movers (a DRS UNit) in view of their deteriorating service. I do agree their company has grown big and large. But they have not focussed on their customers service equally. Some of the photos which I have attached demonstartes their horrifying services off late.

I recently moved from Bangalore to Ghaziabad, I handed over my household stuff along with one big suitcase to AK Packers and Movers.

I did not received my suitcase till date which had all my certificates, passport and other important documents.

I am shocked the way AK packers and movers is treating my case. I am continuously making calls to their Bangalore office, Delhi Office and Mumbai...

I had booked a consingment from Jabalpur(M.P) to Hyderabad(M.P) bearing consingment no 855978 and Consingment no 855980, the deal and the estimate given by agarwal packers covered unpacking of goods and good delivery on time, which they failed to do so and turned up for unpacking 20 days after the goods were unpacked, i.e 26th August 2008, in the transport they have damaged the goods and fractured my car on the right side, inspite of my regular reminders they didnt bothered to send any body for the same at my residence.

I recently shifted from Chennai to Hyderabad and took services of DRS Packers, who were very prompt at coming to my residence to pack things. Then they started to mention that unless 100% is paid up in advance, they would not take the packed luggage into the truck.

After I gave them a cheque, they started their loading of truck - which took four days to travel a distance of nearly 500 Kms. The day the cheque got cleared,...

This is to inform all concern that severe damages were caused to our furniture / household items when transported by Agarwal Packers from Dehradun to Mumbai. The quality of the packers & movers service thus provided can be judged by the extent of damage.

The damaged furniture speaks of care taken by Agarwal Packers while packing, during transportation, shifting etc. Thus the goods loaded on 20th April ’08 at Dehradun were delivered on 2nd May 2008.

We were allured by the false advertisement by Agarwal Packers in their web site. Thus in spite their quotation was approx. 1.5 times the market rate we opted for their service. But our faith in Agarwal Packers shattered after receiving our most of the furniture in damaged condition (Especially dining table in bits and pieces).

Although the carpenter was sent to repair broken / damaged furniture, at every nail hitting our furniture for repairs our heart bled, since we had taken so much of care in the last 17 years – purchased from repudiated furniture showroom at Santacruz (W) - “Concept Furniture” in 1991 and regularly maintained by melamine polish by spray paining machine.

The damaged furniture also speaks of rough handling and poor quality of packing and shoring and irresponsible attitude of Agarwal Packers staff. Above said ill treatment to the goods thus transported also indicate shortening the life of furniture presently seems to be intact.

As if above was not enough, we were shocked to see insured value of individual items not filled correctly (Rs 21400/- only) where as the TOTAL amount of insured value was written on the “Packing List” Rs 50000/- an estimated amount given by us.

We hereby ask Agarwal Packers to get our claim from insurance for Rs 50, 000 for damaged furniture and irresponsible attitude towards their client goods

I would like to bring attention to the gross negligence and irresponsible attitude of the Co: Agarwal Movers and Packers DRS group. I had requested there services in order to ship items of personal effects from India to Australia including furniture, household goods etc.
