I gave my luggage to be delivered from Chennai to Vadodara on 13th Jan 2011. (Order no , 4114878)
At max, I should have received it by 20th Jan 2011.
My luggage came here at 21st Jan and then they forgot to unload it in Vadodara.
It went all way back to Hyderabad, their head office and I am yet to receive it (today is 29th)

I have contacted everyone in their office. Their customer care, operation head etc etc.
But one of the worst experience with movers and packers.
I am not even getting any compensation for that.

    Hi,

    With at most frustration and lost faith in the service provided by Agarwal Packers and Movers (DRS: responsible for taking and delivering the packages), I forced to raise the complaint in the public forum. Detailed of the incident mentioned below:

    Source: Bhopal
    Destination: Manduriti, Pandrandamile,Kottayam, Kottayam
    Agreed upon: 24 ft container, insurance etc
    Tracking No: 4128368

    We booked the packaging service from Agarwal Packers and Movers (Packaging manged by DRS group) for shifting the house hold stuff (Contact Person in Bhopal: Shamsher/Roshan: [protected]) for 7th of this month. As promised and paid for 24 ft container but instead 20 ft container came at our disposal. We made a upfront payment and did not complained a bit for bringing 20 ft container instead of 24 ft (which we paid for). Few stuff where send through some different container and which is yet to be received. My two major concern and because of which my parents are heavily suffering are as follows:

    - Major damages for the following materials and we are still running behind for claiming the insurance. Everytime we get new excuses and new promises but all lies and nothing else. Still no guy comes to evaluate the damage.We have been following from past 2 weeks :(

    Corners of newly brought Sofa
    Bike
    Minor damages to household materials
    Damage to dinning table and tepoy
    Damage to bedding and few more.

    - We yet to receive remaining stuffs from second container and have absolutely no clue about it status.

    It has been 2 weeks and there is no concrete response from these people. I have shooted a mail ([protected]@drsindia.in,[protected]@drsindia.in) to AGM of this packers based in Cochin but still no response.I am loosing my patience and time. Why we suffer for no fault of others. I request and appeal to all those who really going to book through these packers. Make sure nothing of this kind happens to you.

    I really want to file a case against these people so they should be sincere in there work and show some respect to there customer. Any idea how can I go ahead and make them pay for there mistake.

      Recently i shifted to Mumbai and hired the services of Agarwal Packers & Movers to shift my car to mumbai. They charged exorbitantly and promised safe delivery of my new veichle. but to my horror my car was badly damaged, mirror shattered and tyre of my new car stolen. It caused my new car damages upto 1 lac. When i confronted them they did not picked up the phone nor took responsibility of the damages nor compensated me so far. Worst services tall claims , noboy should give any business to such third class company and irrresponsible people.

        Please find below a summary of my experience in using the services from Agarwal Packers, DRS Group (www.agarwalpackers.in) for household and car shifting from New Delhi to Hyderabad vide Invoice Number: 4106137 -

        Timeline

        · The households promised to reach by morning Sat, Jun 12 reached on evening Sun, Jun 13 WITHOUT ANY prior notice. I called up on Fri, Jun 11 as well to confirm and was told that the consignment will reach the next morning. This affected my entire plan, and I along with family was left HELPLESS with NO accommodation in a new city, thereby incurring an ADDITIONAL COST of ~Rs. 5,000 (towards hotel and local travel expenses)

        · The car promised to reach by Jun[protected] days) reached on Jun 23 (14 days) with NO prior notice

        · On the loading day, the executives reached at 12:00 noon (committed for 10 am) and WITH NO packing material. The materials reached at 3:30pm, and the loading completed at 12:00 MID-NIGHT. The executives did NOT even bother to leave the house in a living condition at this odd hour

        · The executive in Hyd supposed to report for the survey of delivered households on Jun 19 HAVE NOT reported as yet, despite repeated follow-ups



        Payment

        · The terms of payment (60% upfront and 40% on delivery) agreed upon by Sombir Singh was NOT adhered to. I was forced to make the entire payment, 10 days ahead of delivery of the car



        Unresponsive

        · The sales person (Sombir Singh) did not seem to have ANY RESPONSIBILITY, besides giving a quote. He did NOT answer his mobile most of the times, and NEVER called back giving false promises

        · There was an instance, wherein he was supposed to return my call in 15 minutes to confirm the Hyderabad guys the payment terms agreed upon with him. NEITHER did he call back NOR was he bothered to answer my call DESPITE 40-50 REPEATED ATTEMPTS from my end

        · There was NO single point contact (both in Delhi and Hyderabad) provided to track the status of consignment. In the entire process, I received 6-7 mobile numbers, which were NOT responsive and the executives NEVER bothered to call back after committing

        · The delivery person in Hyd (Patil) NEVER bothered to call back after committing



        Packaging

        · The packing material DID NOT include suit boxes (besides the delay), and the supervisor was very RELUCTANT to use fresh cartons for the packing

        · Permanent marker was used for numbering directly on some of the households (which will STAY FOREVER)



        Others

        · There was ZERO level of coordination between the Delhi and Hyderabad executives, and it seemed I was dealing with TWO SEPARATE COMPANIES during loading and delivery

        · The executives, both during loading and loading, were shameless to demand high tips (which I never denied for in expectation of a decent level of service)

        · On asking if I will be compensated for the delay and harassment after I make the payment, one of the executives asked not to worry and that he WILL arrange for a refund



        Damages:



        1. Wooden almirah handle damaged

        2. Sliding side box in one of the beds broken

        3. Aquaguard filter found in wet condition damaging the internal PCB/IC (i have already gotten this repaired at a cost of Rs. 2,000, given it is NOT possible to wait for the surveyor to ensure drinking water supply at home)



        Given the above, my total cost reached Rs. 52-55K, besides the harassment caused (far higher than the service worth I received). In addition, they were NOT equipped to take care of the damages and just DID NOT bother to take any actions.

          With the Trust that the company has a name and standing in the area of work that is claims it does, I called upon for their service for packing and shifting the entire household items from Mumbai to Bellary. The man who came for evaluation, claimed all the BIG PROMISES the company acts about....and never does. On the day of the packing, I realise that the CRATES that the company claims never landed and the Truck which came to load was a local one and not DRS. On asking, and enquiring, they claimed that since they did not have any branches in Bellary, they were not arranging for the DRS logo vehicle and the CRATES, as was promised to me initially. With the hell falling apart, I had to give in to get the packing done as the tickets to leave were booked and I could not change over the last minute. The Insurance policy was also taken for 3 lakhs and the policy was not handed over. We had asked for a full cover of the policy. The Supervisor at the site mentioned that the Policy would reach us within the next 8 days of packing at the residential address. The Policy reached us only after about 30 days, and that too Transit. we were CHEATED. On arrival, my husband realises that the Computer Table made of Bhutan Wood value of Rs.10000 was completely broken (irrepairable) and had to be thrown out of the house. On asking the company, they immediately responded stating that the Insurance policy would be evaluated and the claim will be paid back to us. After two months of following up daily, we come to understand from them that since the policy is a Transit one, we cannot claim any damages. CHEATED from the beginning to the end. If this is why they claim themselves to be the best....then believe me they are...the best ones to cheat you. On arriving in the city, we realise that there are many DRS vehicles plying. So please be sure before you book your goods with the company.

            I have transfered my house hold on : 24. 07. 2009 from hyderabad - andhra pradesh to bharuch - gujarat.

            Unfortunately, during transportation, truck met with an accident & as risk was with transporter, claim accessment done.

            After follow up nos of times i got cheque in the mont of august. Same deposited to bank but bounced due to un - clear date.

            Same i have communicated nos of time for the same, but till date i haven't received claim amount cheque.

            Agarwal Mover and Packers — Damage Claim

            I had engaged Agarwal Mover and Packer in October 2009 to move my household goods from CHennai to Ghaziabad. The truck arrived in November week 1, and there was considerable damage to some of the items. Because I had covered my household items under insurance with Agarwal Mover and Packer, their evaluator came and did an evaluation of 5000/- as claim. this was in week 4 of Novermber'2009. Its been 4 months ever since, and I am yet to receive my cheque. everyday, i am told that the cheque will be delivered in 3 days but those 3 days have been coming since the last 4 months. Is there something that we can do to get this closeD?

              I had booked my household and car through Agarwal Packers and movers Pvt Ltd on 26th Oct 2010 from Ghaziabad to Bhubaneswar. With all the clauses of transportation put on the GR (Challan), I had paid the entire amount what they quoted and asked for. The household items which was to reach on 1st Nov 2010 reached me on 3rd Nov 2010 at the late evening when it becomes very difficult to see what items have broken or damaged. It was a harrowing day for me from 01st Nov 2010 when I was calling all the concerned people at the company togive me the real picture as to when my household items will come. I had to keep my family stay for 4 extradays at hotel and we leftthe hotel on the saying of the compnay that my household items will arrive by mornign 10 am. To a person in a unknown city, it was difficult for me to stay in a empty house with out food and water till 7 in the evening due to these packers and movers. Somehow the items came and there was a huge damage to the expensive items. The company managed to rectify the corrections after 4/5 days of delivery of household goods.

              REgarding the car, the call centre with no.[protected], used to give me replies that my car will arrive by 4th Nov 2010. Again they said the car will arrive by 7th of Nov. I had to call them up more than 100 times (which shows in my detailed bill) to get the information, which rather they shoudl have given me without my calling them.
              Till date I have not received my car from them. It was booked on 26th Oct 2010 and today is 15th Nov 2010.

              Pls help me out how can I sue the company to get compensations for the lossess I incurred by staying in hotel for extra days, incurring huge transportation expenses on account of my car not being with me. I can be reached at [protected]

              MY HOUSE HOLD ITEMS WERE BOOKED FOR SHIFTING FROM DIVYAPUR(206244) TO BANGALORE ,IT WAS BOOKED ON DATED 07.05.2010. I HAVE TAKEN FROM ADITYA GODOWN FROM NAL MANGLA(NEAR BANGALORE) ON 17.05.2010 INSTEAD OF MY HOUSE PERSONALLY AND ITEMS SHIFTED TO MY RESIDENCE ON 18.05.2010.IT WAS BADLY DAMAGED.WHENEVER I CONTACTED TO MR.RAJESH MISHRA OF KANPUR BRANCH FOR DELEIVERY ,I HAVE TOLD DIFFERENT TYPE OF EXCUSE EVERY TIME.HE HAS ALSO TOLD ME THAT SHIFTING WILL BE DONE IN SAME TRUCK.BUT SHIFTING WAS DONE MANY TIMES BEFORE COMING TO MY HOUSE.
              LATER ON I HAVE COMPLAINED MY TIME TO COMPANY BUT NO RESPONSE.WHILE BOOKING I HAVE BEEN TOLD THAT ITEM WILL REACH TO BANGALORE WITHIN 05 DAYS.

              TOTAL DAMAGE OCCURED AROUND 100000/-(ONE LAKH).I HAVE TO RESIDE IN HOTEL ALSO.

                I am v. K. Krishnan worked in tata steel, jamshedpur for morethan 40 yrs and retired on 1. 10. 10. After my retirement i want to shift my entire household
                Items to my native place kannur, kerala and engaged the transporter called
                Agarwal packers & movers. Initially they have agreed the consignment will
                Be delivered through a big container to accmodate my car also. On 12th october they have informed me that the container is not available at present we will provide one small container. I dont have any other option because
                I have already surrendered my company house and paid full amount to the
                Packers. They have started the from jamshedpur on 14. 10. 10 and reached the destination on 23. 10. 10 after lot of drama in the middle. After opeining
                The packages i found that most of my house hold items breaked and unusable. I have lost the goods for rs. 1. 00 lakh approx.
                This is my humble request to all the indian public that please
                Avoid such cheaters and never take the services of entire
                Agarwal transport group & drs group. I have already
                Taken necessary step to close their business in jamshedpur

                  I have transported my house hold items from Pune to Delhi on[protected].

                  I Maheshkumar P transported my house hold items from Pune to Delhi with Agarwal Movers and Packers on[protected] at 5pm from my residence in Pune.

                  Total no of 52 items were transported & G.C.No. 549821, while loading my house hold itmes, informed me it will reach to Delhi on[protected]. but till date[protected], I have not recieved.

                    I Got a job in chennai so I decided to shift the things from Gaziabad, U.P to chennai, Tamil Nadu.
                    I booked the things through Agarwal Packers and movers Ltd., on 29.03.2010.
                    I received the things at the month of April without Refrigerator make Samsung. My mother was staying in home during the delivery time. My mother is aged and she had given balance money and signing the Receipt without seeing the package.
                    So far they havent send any message or give back the cost of Refrigerator.
                    Please help in this issue.

                      This is about India's most renowned movers and packers- Agarwal movers and packers. We had appointed these people to move our goods and vehicle from delhi to Mumbai. Everything was fine till packaging and loading. We came to
                      mumbai on 1st-August-2010 as date of delivery given to us 2nd or 3rd Aug....Story begins now onwards...despite of our several calls to their office we didnt get a proper answers.All they used to tell us was they will get in touch with us in 10-15 mins but we never recieve any call from them. Worst of the all the staff members was Mr Anup Mishra (highly unprofessional and irresposible). Everymorning we used to get the same answer from their office that we will receive our goods by the evening this has happened to us for seven consecutive days and then eighth day we were told that we will our stuff nexy day. So we made a plan to go to lonaavala that evening. Then around 10:00 PM we recieved the call from Mr Anup that our stuff will reach in an hour or so. We told him it would not be possible as we are not in Mumbai and we will be back tomorrow morning only. He said either you recieve it now or you will have to wauit for 3 more days. We had to wait for another 3 days for our stuff as we couldnt make it that night...And another three days for our car...And we were shocked to see the condition of our goods. We had bought only two electronic appliances Refrigerator and Washing machine. Out of which refrigerator was so badly damaged as if these ppl have played football with it. Its whole body was gone.Though these ppl had charged us for insurance coverage ...lastly they told us that it is their internal insurance (that is agarwal packers and mover's insurance) and all they can pay us is 6 K where as it was covered for the value of 15 k.so thats the story....We had to pay 37 k for shifting goods and vehicle another 1.2 lac for hotel accomodation,food and car rental plus lots of other damages which includes damage of refrigerator and other stuff like expensive crockery , hair straightener, crystal idol(worth rupees 8 K alone)...and most of all he had suffered a great deal as we had to stay in a hotel with 4 months old baby and couldnt provide him enough comfort because of all this....worst staff i have ever ever seen...worst ppl to deal with

                        Hi

                        This is sureshkannan. I booked agarwal packers & movers to transport my household items from jafferkhanpet, chennai to bangalore on 31 july, 2010. A person called ratan singh from agarwal packers, chennai is my point of contact with ap&m.

                        I purposely planned to shift my household items on saturday, 31 july / 10 and asked to deliver it before sunday night (01 aug / 10) , since i have to report on monday (02 aug / 10) to my office. Agarwal packers agreed to shift and deliver my things on sunday morning.

                        I faced the following issues.

                        1. They promised for container, but they used open lorry to shift my things. For that too i made so many calls to get the vehicle.
                        2. Sunday whole day i was tracking about the vehicle status, but no one gave proper response.
                        3. I called ratan singh, who is my point of contact, but he didn’t respond properly and he cancelled my call when i called again.
                        4. Till monday i have not received any status updates form agarwal p&m.
                        5. Monday (02 - aug) morning vehicle came, but they simply said there were no load men to drop my things. Again i made so many calls to send load men.
                        6. I put on leave the very first day to my office due to such issues.
                        7. Since i have asked for one point loading and 2 point delivery, i gave the details of household items to deliver on point 1 and point2 to the driver and load men who came to my home in chennai. But the load men in bangalore came only monday evening and misplaced few things in point 1 and point 2 and refused to replace it again.
                        8. Again i made so many calls and contacted ratan singh, but he simply refused to give any solution and again he cut the call.
                        9. Also few of my plastic items broken and my bed has teared.
                        10. I replaced my things on my own responsibility & cost by booking some other vehicle. It cost me nearly 1000rs.

                        Till now i called agarwal p&m more than 20 times and explained my issues more than 10 persons, but no response.

                        So due to all such issues and irresponsibility of the person (Ratan singh from drs) i intentionally stop the cheque payment.

                        Please take action on this issue and surrender my cheque and collect the balance amount rs. 8000 from me. You can reach me at [protected].

                          I am writing to your good office as a final right to seek redressal against unfair trade practices and unscrupulous exploitation of consumers as faced by me, and lLdge a compliant against M/S Agarwal Packers and Movers (An associate of DRS Dilip Roadways Pvt Ltd, Hydrabad). On 7th July 2010, I arranged for them to collect my household items in Mumbai, for shifting to Lucknow. The goods were delivered eventually in Lucknow on 17th July 2010 in a very poor condition, with many packages in open condition, almost all electrical and electronic appliances in broken condition, plenty of crockery in broken condition, most of woodwork in damaged condition - owing to pure negligance by the carrier. Convervative estimate of value of damages is over Rs. 1 lakh. A detailed survey was carried out of all damages. A total of 9 e-mails have been sent to M/S Agarwal Packers, containing full details of all damages. Besides that, regular fullow up was done on phone - locally in Lucknow, as well as Hydrabad, but they kept delaying their reply. Eventually on 28th July, they informed me that they are willing to pay Rs 7,000/= for all damages caused. I wish to excecise my right to fair settlement of my genuine grievances. Fair value of goods damaged: Rs 1 lakh. Insurance value of goods: Rs 50,000/= Local (in Lucknow) Packer's representative's insurance value estimation of damages: Rs 32,500/=. Final claim Packer's Head Office (In Hydrabad) planning to settle: Rs 7,000/=.!!

                          Agrawal Packers & Movers — Mishandling & loss of goods during transportation

                          I have hired the service of most professional of agrawal Packers &Movers & lost my goods to the trune of Rs 20000/- . They have accepted after long follow up an Amt of Rs 5000/- . I have taken this servicce on 13 may . Till date I ahve not received ant claim. Even customer care head MR. Vyas is not picking the phone . I am having atleast 25 mails shared with them.
                          They are real crooks! Please DO NOT USE THEM at all.

                          We Have booked our house hold goods through your GR No: 4174328, Dated 06/06/11 From Indore to Pune. As per your commitment to us, the shifting wasnt painful to us. But after booking and taking delivery we found we were wrong & you are not trustworthy.

                          Following discrepancy we found while dealing with you:-

                          During packing & loading of material your one packing person took our MOBILE EARPHONE & went away from our place, after that when we found that our MOBILE EARPHONE not available at there place, we call to Mr. Virendra[protected] Agrawal Packers & Mover Guy), he told us he'll reembrese the the MOBILE EARPHONE cost.

                          We were committed that the Kitchen Tin Box wasnt properly sealed which caused us high inconvinience. The Boxes got opened & the eatables were totally messed up. That included-

                          5 kg rice

                          2 kg yellow daal

                          7-8 Ltr cooking oil in plastic tin (oil as well the tin was not found.)

                          1 kg moong daal

                          2 kg groundnuts


                          The 10 kgs sugar plastic can was hampered, left over with 6 kgs.

                          The 15 kgs yellow daal can was hampered, left over with 11 kgs.

                          The kitchen steel rack found damaged n broken at many places.

                          Scratches found on fridge along with internal faults, still refrigerator not working.

                          Mixer Jars caps (2 nos.) found completely in broken condition.

                          After all that we consider a bull cart for House Hold Goods shifting and also convey this massage to our contact.

                            My name is Sushant Gadroo. I got shifted from Banglore to Mumbai and i availed AGARWAL PACKERS AND MOVERS services. They have been harrasing me from past 3 days by not provinding me any information about my luggage.I paid Rs 27000 for full luggage transfer and as promised by the company it was to be delivered on 24th as mentioned in the papers. Till date i have no proper information about my stuff. The customer care people in delhi Head office and mumbai office have no clue and they most of the times disconnected my call when questioned. I've been staying in hotel since then with my family. As i paid extra amount for early delivery but the executives at the office makes stupid excuses and are delaying. Even their country head Mr Madhup Wadhwa is unable to solve my problem. Me and my family are facing lots of inconvinience due to this and i've no extra money to stay in hotel anymore.It is shame on such a big company.

                            And their service is so good and behaviour of the entire staff is so good. And they comitted 8 days for delivery and as per the schedule they have delivered the goods on time.

                            And we appriciate their packing, they used the Wooden crates for all of my electronic items and every items had come safely.

                            And their centralized customer care center is so good which is located at their head office at Secunderabad. they have informed us time to time about my shipment which is quite appricable.

                            Even we have recommended our friends they also shifted through Agarwal packers and they also feel very happy with the services given by them.

                            We strongly recomend to use the services for your relocation.

                              Dear Sir,

                              This is just want to notice you that few days back I have transferred all my household items from Pune to Ahmedabad through DRS AGARWAL PACKERS & MOVERS with insurance amount of Rs: 40,000/-.

                              I got all my luggage in Ahmedabad, but few items has been damaged like study table, Iron Almari, photo frame, TV trolley table. They have repaired most of the items except Iron Almari and they can not repair it.

                              When I said that i am already having insurance of Rs; 4000/- for iron Almari, they said that we can not give the amount like that. Also they are not providing CHOLAMANDALAM insurance policy no. And by doing this they are also blaming to CHOLAMANDALAM.

                              And truth is that they have not taken any policy for the same, they are doing cheating to the customers. They are taking insurance money from the customers, but they are not giving this facility to the customers.

                              This people do not have dignity,they are shameless .

                              They believe in looting the money in terms of insurance(Official Robbery) from customer.

                                My misery starts when I asked Agarwal Packers pick up the house hold items from Chennai (Sholinganellure) to Navi Mumbai.

                                - Packers came 3 hours late than they promised
                                - The packers were totally ill prepared came with out wooden crater or any such arrangements to pack washing machine and fridge
                                - Up on enquiry Mr Sampath ( who attended the packing), the wooden protective cover will done before dispatching from Chennai
                                - While booking , Mr Sampath and Mr sunny promised that these items will arrive destination in 4-5 days.
                                - Finally we received the times completely drenched in water, on 13th June
                                - Following items damaged
                                - Washing machine ( Reason : the drum was not locked and was not in wooden crater and it was completely mishandled)
                                - Cycle handle is bend and the brake wire is loose disengaged
                                - Airtel dish antenna is bend (in spite if insisting the packers at the time of packing at Chennai, dish antenna and other accessories are send with out any packing)
                                - Books which are really invaluable completely drenched in water and they are beyond use
                                - All the clothe materials were wet due to completely irresponsible packing and handling and the clothes were smelling bad
                                - Two glasses broken from the set of six
                                - Study table was wet and the bottom side of the table is having decay due to water
                                - Telephone stand leg broken
                                - While delivering the items at new Mumbai there was no supervisor or any responsible person was attending the same which shows complete irresponsible behavior of your employees due to which we are suffering
                                - We had paid Rs 22500 as the transportation charges in advance, for the above service to customers….???!!
                                - There was not a single responsible person answered by phone call last evening at both at Chennai and Mumbai

                                THEY ARE BUNCH OF CHEATERS AND THUGS

                                ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE.

                                DO NOT PAY THEM ANY MONEY IN ADVANCE, EVEN IF YOU USE THEM

                                IS IT A ISO 9000 COMPNAY AS CLAIMED BY THEM..... I REALLY DOUBT THE CREDIBILITY OF IT.

                                  We had invited quotes from different packers and movers and hired the services of DRS agarwal packers and movers despite their high quote as they offered to transport the goods in a container and assured of compensation if any damages incurred.The goods were transported from Indore to Mumbai and was loaded on 19th of June 2010.They informed us that since they could not load it on to a container at site due to lack of loading space near the apartment-Shekhar Planet,they would shift it to a container after loading it to a tempo temporarily.We were in for a rude shock when the driver of the tempo contacted us at 10 pm,11pm and 1 pm midnight of 20th june asking us for our address in Mumbai.He informed us that the company had used his services since he charged them cheap.We reached the unpacking site in Mumbai and have photographs of the tempo and the unloaders and our goods were in an open condition and some of our valuable artifacts were damaged and our washing machine and a new microwave had been broken.The country head and the head were intimated about the same but did not respond.
                                  Our car which was also transported by the same organisation had not left Indore and was in use by their people at Indore until the 26th.They have refused to give us the vehicle until we pay up 10,000 rs.They refuse to admit or pay up for the damages incurred during transport despite insuring our goods for 1,50,000rs.They have committed a breach of contract by using the services of a third party in between as evident in our photographs clicked and have caused damage to our goods and refuse to give us our vehicle which is being used by them.They have also damaged a car of our neighbour at the apartment in mumbai and bribed the police to cover up and used the influence of their country head to avoid paying up.They asked us to pay for the bribe given to the policemen when it was no fault of ours.Please let us know how to seek redressal of this as we have proof of the same.

                                  The company Agarwal packers and movers DRS group are constant cheaters. They give you an estimate but don't deliver goods and ask you for more money failing which the goods are not delivered at all. Have had bad experience from their end. People beware

                                    I just used the [censored] Agarwal Packers & Movers, DRS group, to shift from Chennai to Delhi. I had already used another co. - INTEREM - for same stuff while moving from Delhi to Chennai, so I also have comparison on hand.
                                    Agarwal Packer & movers are horrible, terrible, pathetic, painful. The worst nightmare of my life.
                                    One person - Bansi lal - came to survey and give quote. I gave him exact departure time. But when packing team arrived they had no idea of when we are supposed to catch our flights and so when should they finish. They were understaffed and had no timeline in plan. Bandi lal stopped coordinating. After a lot of fight, more people were sent day morning and while the deadline given and agreed was 12noon. We could actually lock & leave the house only by 1.45, almost missing our flights.
                                    Packing was not done in order and teh boxes were not marked properly.
                                    Here, I got a call from one Rajesh Gupta on June 20th, that the truck has arrived in Gurgaon and it will reach our house in NOIDA late in the night and delivery party will arrive in the morning. When we reached next day morning, there was no truck! And when we called up Rajesh Gupta, he was not aware and he called up somebody else, who said there was no driver so the truck will reach June 21st night!
                                    June 21st the part II of nightmare started. A double bed and the breakfast table have their screws and other assembling components missing. Plus, there was no carpenter at hand - as we had experienced with INTEREM- which had a carpenter to even fix teh ACs in Chennai, same time when delivery was happening. When I called up Rajesh Gupta/ D P Sharma, they first said I have to give in writing - well, when they have dismantled things, aren't they supposed to ne aware, notified and orgainised toput it back as well?! Then they said they do not handle that, I should speak to one Vyas. After a threatening sms, Vyas called up and after a lot of heated arguements said he will ask the delivery biys to arrange a carpoenter from somewhere. The delivery supervisor - Makkhan lal told me, it is not possible to get a carpenter like that and so co. carpenter will come tomorrow - June 23rd. Today, when I arrived from office at 4.30pm, there was no carpenter! When I called up Rajesh Gupta he made Vyas call me back. Vyas firstly did not recall any discussion on the carpenter and there are no carpenters and I must get it done on my own!
                                    After shouting about the fact that its their job to re-asemble the things, he said 'he will see'!
                                    Moreover, on the screws he gave me lecture on how any screws can be fitted etc.! I said what about the breakfast table not looking the same with unmatche screw, Vyas said he can't help it. I asked him about the claim and he said, "they will talk to Chennai team, we shoudl keep bearing with them till that time, otherwise, based on the value in the packing list, we will discuss and arrive at a concensus"!
                                    On the carpenter he said, 'he will try in a day or 2, without any commitment"
                                    Am just too fed up with screaming, shouting, fiighting with laboureres in Chennai, in Delhi, with Bansi lal and one more in Chennai, with Rajesh Gupta, D P Sharma & Vyas in Delhi - overall, I have to scream, shout & fight with 11 people!!
                                    Still my apartment hs no place to walk with the huge unassembled TV rack, the breakfast table and the double bed strewn around.
                                    Still when I asked Vyas about mailid of his directors, he refused to give.
                                    Agarwal Packers in short re SICKENING. NEVER EVER USE THEM.

                                      I Rajesh Chandra transported my good from Jaipur to Lucknow. agarwal movers and packers transported my good on[protected] at 5pm from my residence in Jaipur.

                                      154 items were transported G.C.No. 505308, out of which 12 items were brought later as a separate package.

                                      out of those 12 items two big boxes were damaged by them due to which we have lost our valuable clothes.

                                      besides that many of our items were found broken.
                                      3% insurance was done with declare value of Rs2.93 lacs on a contract form to the manager DRS logistics Pvt. LTd.

                                      we had a lost wort Rs.12000/-

                                        Dear Mr. Nirmal

                                        As per our telecom following are the details of complaint.

                                        On 15th May, I shifted my household items from Bangalore to Ghaziabad through Agarwal Packers& Movers under consignment number GC 4095123. On 20th May I received call from Delhi office that my shipment has arrived and I requested them to deliver it to me on 22nd morning since it was Saturday. Further they confirmed that they will be coming at 11a.m,

                                        On arrival of my items I realized that it was the greatest blunder I had ever done to hire them for shipment. They initially impressed me with their "manner of talking and packing things" (Anybody will as they carry wooden & plastic boxes to suit their customer's needs!!) and promised to deliver it on time. They first arrived at 1 p.m. (late by 2 hours than their committed time) and I found that one of my cartons was missing while unloading which was later delivered to me late in the evening after much follow up.

                                        Only 2 people were there to unload and unpack the medium sized household items. They assured me that this will be done in 2 -3 hours but they were there at my place till 11p.m.I don't how you decide manpower requirement. They were not carrying enough equipment and they were unloading items very carelessly. To me it was like that none of them was professional and skilled and it seems that they are hiring laborers for this activity. They didn't have rope as well to shift bed and sofa to first floor of my house and around 5 p.m they managed to find nylon rope which is used generally used to hang your wet clothes.

                                        I had a hard time to coordinate with them and by 8 p.m. they were able to shift everything except sofa which was still in my compound. In order to get these things done I had to coordinate with Mr. Shukla, Mr. Sandeep and many more people. I even had argument with Mr. Sandeep Sharma who is handling claims and customer care of their Delhi office. I had to leave by that time because o[censored]rgent meeting and I requested them to shift the sofa inside tomorrow morning since electricity was not there and my mom was alone at home as well but it seems that I didn't matter to them and they were there till 12 p.m in the night. We were unhappy with their way of handling items therefore we told them that we won't sign any document until sofa is shifted inside tomorrow. They threaten us that they will call police when we told them they should leave our premises. None of them was polite and worst person to handle was Mr. Sandeep. They forced us to sign the papers.

                                        Now I would like to tell that they damaged my big leather sofa, Table, new Bike (which is 2 months old) and bed. Now I am calling them for settling my claim. They had sent a surveyor cum carpenter who tried to fix few damaged things but didn't tell us how he is going to evaluate the damage in monetary terms. To get I called up Mr. Sandeep more than 100 times but he didn't pick his phone. Several times he did switch off his phone.
                                        I have already forwarded you his mail showing you how is deciding the claim amount and his level of his communication. How can you claim that your company people are polite and courteous and polite when they created so much trouble for your customer?

                                        To address this issue I did approach Mr. John in your corporate office and nothing worked. They can give their words but when It comes to take action none of them are interested to deliver it.

                                        I request you to look into matter and take action against all those people involved in this specially Mr. Sandeep who doesn’t how to handle his customer and created so much trouble for us. Deficiency in their services has left me with no option but to approach you and inform my company about your services who are your corporate clients.
