On 14 June, I contacted Ms Agarwal Packers and Movers (APML) for transporting my household goods from Bengaluru to Panvel, Navi Mumbai. A quotation for Rs.43147/- was sent to me on the letterhead of DRS Dilip Roadlines Ltd ( Brand of Agarwal Packers and Movers) by Nandini on behalf of Agarwal Movers and Packers. One Nandini Nadar, claiming to be an employee of M/s Agarwal Packers and Movers, got in touch with me on WhatsApp ( Mob. No. [protected] carrying APML Logo, Location at New Delhi) and negotiated the deal for the goods as per list excluding car, at Rs.27748/- including taxes. The deal was agreed to and the movement done vide GC No. 4812962 dt.[protected] on the letter heads of DRS Dilip Roadlines Ltd – Brand of Agarwal Packers and Movers
Three days after taking possession of my goods, I was asked by the same mobile ( sometimes a female voice, sometimes a male voice) to pay an extra amount of Rs.5000/-. as they feel that the number of packages is more than what they had envisaged, even though the items were same as per the list on which our agreement was made. It may be noted that each chair, jhadu, etc is counted separately. (Wonder why they did not count each tooth brush also as separate item). Many things had no packing done and only a piece of paper was wrapped around them for writing number on them.

To get back my goods, I paid the full amount by net banking, including the extra amount to the account provided by them i.e. Via account payment: Bank Name:- ICICI BANK,
A/C Holder Name:- DRS DILIP ROADLINES LTD, A/C NO. –[protected], Branch Name:- MG Road Secunderabad, IFCS Code:- ICIC0001121, Regards, Nandini Nadar, Senior Coordinator – Relocation.
After having entered into a contract, and having taken possession of my goods, can they revise charges? Had I known the revised charges before hand, I would not have entered into an agreement with them.
I was threatened that if I do not pay, the goods would be confiscated at their godown.
Does it not amount to extortion, or may be even blackmailing a person aged 76?
To get possession of my goods I was forced to make the payment as told by Ms Nanadini Nadar.
When I wrote to APML about the extortion, they say the consignment case does not belong to them. Then I mailed the complaint to Ms DRS Dilip Roadlines Ltd, but they did not responding to my correspondence.
I am confused. Who has transported my goods Ms Agarwal Packers and Movers or DRS Dilip Roadlines Ltd? The persons who came to collect goods wore shirts with large logos of APMK. The boxes in which the goods were packed carried logo of APML all round. The vehicle on which the goods were loaded had a large poster painted of APML on its side. Now how can they wash their hand off the deal?
The photograps of the quotation, the whatsapp chat with Nandini in pdf, GC No. 4812962 dt.[protected], , the list of packages, photos of the persons who came to collect goods, the vehicle, Mobile Info of Ms Nanadini are all attached herewith.
But I feel this is the most unethical and perhaps illegal act on the part of DRS Dilip Roadlines Ltd. / Ms Agarwal Packers and Movers.
Kindly look into the matter and get me the refund of the extortion amount of the charges.

    As per comitted they will deliver the consignment with in 5-6 days but after 9 days also not delivered, also they are saying they wil deliver by 15 days. 2 consignment were booked from Kolkata to Bangalore.

    My Father Mr Santanu Kumar Bhaumik([protected]) talked to Mr. Abhishek ([protected]) working for Agarwal packers and movers for shifting his house hold items and a car as he retired and want to shift his items from Kolkata to Bangalore. As per his commitment the consignment will be delivered within 5-6 days. The consignment was picked from his place Krishnanagar(Nadia Dist.) On 4 th August 2022. As per his commitment we should get the consignment by 10th August. But till now we dint got the consignment .Also if we are trying to track the consignment the employees are telling us that it will take 15 days to deliver. All his stuffs including his and my mother's medical prescription are there in the consignment, father is heart patient and mother have high BP but without prescription we are unable to take the medicine. Also they brought limited stuff with them. Also they dint told them that they will take all amount which is arround 98505 ₹ beforehand. On the day after coming to pick the stuff they told about the amount to be given in advance.Having no option that time my parents have to give whole amount. This is completely mental harrasment and also physical as they are senior citizen.

      I booked a consignment for delivery of household items from karjan to narsapuram. One item was missing when the items were delivered to me. Despite my several emails to company about missing item, no response from them.

        I booked personal consignment for moving house hold items from Hoshiarpur to Jhalawar and consignment loaded on 4th of Aug and promised to deliver with in 4-5 days, based on their commitment i shifted my family to destination .Till date my consignment not delivered . Company is robbing costumers. They are taking total payment in advance and now they are not picking my call.

          I booked personal consignment (not sharing) from Hyderabad to junagadh for moving house hold items and consignment loaded on 26 july and promised to deliver with in 5 -6 days, based on their commitment i shifted my family to destination .Till date my consignment not delivered .costomer care team and branch manager sitting at Ahmedabad keep on telling your consignment will be delivered tommorrow . If it is a personal consignment consignment should have reached with in 6 days as per the details mentioned in quotation and booking agent confirmation . Because of these fraud and irresponsible people i lost about Rs.20000 by paying hotel bills and it is sheer harassment . I need justification and compensation for my lose .

            Dear team,
            I have done the relocation of my households from Mehsana Gujarat to Hyderabad location through Agarwal movers and packers.
            Relocation date :- 16/07/2022
            Household reached at Destination :- 30/07/2022.
            Complaint registered :- 31/07/2022.
            This complaint is regarding the damage found in some of the household items and same was shown and evident in front of shipping representatives.
            Below are the damage items and attached images for your reference and necessary action :-
            1) Deevan bed one support leg observed missing.
            2) Photo frame glass found crack.
            3) 2 Kitchen plastic airtight boxes found damage.
            4) Kids chair legs found bend, damage and unbalanced.

            Issue was escalated to Agarwal movers and packers customer support through mail as guided by them, but they are not responding at all. Even i have kept Cc to their senior team, still didn’t get any respond from them.
            As a immediate respond, I was expecting mail assurance from them and further necessary support, , but their respond is totally nothing.
            Request you to please support in this matter and look into this.

                I have consigned goods via this company from bangalore to trivandrum on 1 July 2022. I have received only 5 out of 6 packages. GC NUMBER 4817790. I have called the representatives and drivers of this company at least 20 times. Each time they say it will be delivered tomorrow.
                In stark contrast to this attitude they were very punctual in collecting the full amount in advance.

                  Then finally he sent some to pick car and stuff from my place on delhi on 22/7 but due to some car falut car was not picked. He picked house hold itmes. I got a bill of Rs 4000 I told him that was for only 4 itmes but now the laguage is more so give all added bill Rajiv said we will adjust when they will pick the car. As fate would have it I trusted this person. After 10 days he said mu stuff has reached Goa and I have to make full payment and stuff will be delivered o said we had agreed as 50% advance and 50% on hand over. He said total bill was 9k I said u should have informed me before. However as he insisted i made a bank trnasfer of 4500 and then again I started getting calls from Dharmveer transport guy to make fill payment only then they will deliver O said share the new invoice and I got an invoice of 37k both bills now when checked are all fake, gst number is also fake both rajiv and dharamveer numbers cannot be called on they only do what's up calls. I felt things are fishy I agreed to pay rest of the amount but asked them to give me the Ponda transport address I will see my stuff and pay them they started fooling around. They gave me ponda RK transport services address there is no office like this that is there. They are still calling and want full payment. They don't have valid phone numbers, money transfered is on someone account, no company account number given, no gst number, fake office address.
                  They are not ready to give me my stuff.

                  Please help me if you can.

                    Hello,

                    I have chosen Agarwal Packers-DRS Group for transferring my goods from Noida to Bangalore. The same was packed and picked from Noida on 3rd July, 2022 and delivered in Bangalore on 17th July, 2022.

                    Below are all the issues summarised for my damage done:

                    My GC no. is 4818884. My items were picked from Noida on 3rd July, 2022 and delivered in Bangalore on 17th July, 2022. I have already written all the issues on the bilty when the items were delivered.

                    There were various issues with my items delivered. Below are the summarised points:

                    1. Both the mattress are wet and discolored and smelling (Item no. 8 of packing list).
                    2. Fridge bottle holder broken and dent on fridge due to which the door is damaged and not opening and closing freely (Item no. 2 of packing list).
                    3. Sofa leg broken (Item no. 5 of packing list).
                    4. Dent on side of centre table and tv cabinet (Item no. 10 and 7 of packing list).
                    5. Microwave is tilted and bottom of the microwave has gone inside from one side (Item no. 33 of packing list).
                    6. Bed ply is wet and damaged (Item no. 56 of packing list).
                    7. One item is still pending to be received (Item no. 28 of packing list).
                    8. Washing machine broken (Item no. 3 of packing list).

                    Below is the declared value against my damaged goods for which I have paid insurance:

                    Plus i was hospitalised following upwith these guys and now they are offering only Rs.10, 000 against so much damage despite me paying insurance against the safety of my goods to them

                      I have booked my Household items from Gurgaon to allahabad, on 1st of July, later i received only 1 package at the destination now inspite of my repeated calls there is no response from the team they just tell me that you'll be contacted through mail (same response I'm hearing from last 10 days) but then noone connects. Here my belonging hasn't reached to me which is their core responsibility and they are least bothered about it.

                            Dear sir

                            We took the service from Chennai to Hyderabad Household things moving.

                            The condition what it came to us in Hyderabad was very bad. Our tables were broken and the way your people packed was awesome but the way it came in small van in very bad state.

                            We are very unhappy about this. The people don't tackle it properly.

                            We need our some amount to be refunded so we can make repair or all the damages.

                              Hi,

                              I booked my scooty on 12th July. And today 25th July. Still no proper resolution or update . Everytime new update .
                              I have paid for fast delivery and before booking so many calls from sales department and after booking i am calling continuously but call never get connected or long wait time and no resolutions

                                It's been almost two months since I am suffering for my original bill for the package from Vijayawada to Varanasi in the name of shiwani
                                Earlier they told you will receive the bill soon after making full payment but I didn't receive any invoice in my mail and after three weeks they have delivered the product and then they told after receiving the package you will receive the bill and then also I didn't receive and after that I starting following up and started making calls to customer care and they were just delaying and after 10 days they provided the bill which was not as per my quotation so I asked the bill as per my quotation and then they provided the bill which was tallying in the context of amount but they didn't gave any information about car amount which was mentioned in my quotation and now when I am asking for the car bill or to mention the car amount in the total bill they are telling we can't do it.
                                If I have paid the total amount which includes household and car I didn't understand why I am not getting the bill as per quotation and in this entire procedure the company has already delayed me by more two months and still I am waiting for the correct bill so that I can calim and if there will be any further delay I won't be able to claim the amount and I would have to suffer a big loss just because of your mistake.
                                Kindly look in to this matter and resolve it at the earlies.

                                  I recently used their services for moving within the same colony and recieved worse service than i could have from a local mover.

                                  They took the packing too lightly thinking it won't be traveling too much and hence they can be careless. Many items are broken and their workers stole cans of beer from us. I found out and kicked out the relevant worker but who knows what else they have stolen.

                                  I want a full refund of the money I have paid.

                                    I booked a single moving door delivery and APML has sent my luggage in shared truck and was promised to delivered in 5 days and it’s been 11 days and no one is answer and ignoring my calls . The delay has costed me around 30k extra and work problems.

                                      I refer to the quotation no QUMNG[protected] And CRF NO: CRFMNG[protected] for shifting from Mangalore to Varkala, The totally bill amount is Rs 16575/-. I already paid an advance amount of Rs 1500 on 20/06/2022 ( attached screenshot), and also on 22/6/2022 I paid the full amount of Rs 16575 ( attached the payment receipt).
                                      Kindly I request you to reverse the extra paid amount of Rs 1500 to my account
                                      I was dealing with Mr. chandan. I experienced very worst service from agarwal packers and movers

I am mailing since 22 june and till now they are continuosly telling that within 3 4 days amount will be credited, but even after 20 days i didn't get refund and the agent Mr. chandan is not responding I experienced very worst service. From agarwal packers and movers mangalore

                                        We inform you that our consignment has been picked up on 01.07.2022 for Mumbai from Safidon haryana but till now goods has been delivered and no one has been giving proper answer. It shows very poor service of your company. How we can recommend to other person for your service.
