Due to Covid 19 thr nation is under a lockdown. Instead of providing a refund foe our tickets booked well in advance the airline is holding the money in the a credit shell. I fail to understand why this inconvenience and harassment to customers for no fault of theirs. I request a full refund as I'm not sure when I may be able to travel next and I also may find other modes of commuting in the future if not this specific airline. During times so sensitive and crucial like this when cash crunch is the a major concern airlines holding our money is like holding us hostage n harassing us. Please help.

      Regarding my refund ticket they said 30 days my money will comeback to my account but untill now I didn't receive my money more than 1 month already Even telephone no. They don't have only email but the problem even proper rfly nothing! What kind of company is this! I will never ever buy ticket of this airasia..

        My flights to bangkok from chennai to and fro has been cancelled by the airlines on 13th of march 2020 till now i have not received the refund for the cancellation.
        I wrote mail to the booking agent as well as to the airlines but i did not receive any satisfactory reply from them.
        It's been almost a month now kindly do me the needful.
        I have attached the screenshot of the mail received from the airlines nodal officer thankyou

          I had cancelled my return ticket for kolkata-pune departure 11th feb well in advance, i was told refund of rs 1800/- would be made to my card, on 21st feb i called and talked to mr. Syed hussain - ref id 33939999 and was told that by 25th feb amount would be credited but till date i have not received.
          It is very difficult to connect your customer care and chat with ava is of no use.
          Please refund immediately or i will take up with the concerned authorities

            Air asia cancelled aug 2020 bookings and saying that it is because of advisory, i want to know which advisory has been issued for august 2020 travel. First of all - air asia announce sale then they collected funds for running the airlines and then cancelled the tickets and moreover they are not giving refund despite offering 1 change without change fees (We have to bear the fare difference) and second option is credit amount. I seriously don't want to fly again with this fraud airlines. Their strategy is quite clear now.

              I had booked tickets with air asia but changed my travel plan rather said flights has also been cancelled by air asia due to covid 19 issue. Now i have been struggling fro my refund despite regulatory authority orders to airlines.

              Support system and customer care approach is very poor and pathetic, not able to connect on given number despite nobody is responding. Chatbot system is completely waste exercise.

              Very true.. Airlines companies will take undue advantage of this unfortunate issue of COVID 19, they are free to connect and resolve any issue while taking new bookings- booking process is seemless but in case of cancellation they really become dub. But we really need to push them hard. We should seek help from regulatories like Aero Sewa and DGCA.

                I booked a flght PNR: RV1QRV through ease my trip and there is no proper response from any of these two company. Air Asia asked us to contact Ease my trip for any cancellation/rescheduling issue and the same thing is informed by Ease My trip that to asked these things to Air Asia.

                Is they are making the money?

                I am trying to contact the team but unable to contact.. they are not asuring that where they refund it.

                Pleas \e resolve it.

                I am trying many times to contact them but no one responses and neither help me for any status. I do not know why they are doing this. I do understand that may they are not working all time but after so many mails and complaits they should have to reply but they are not doing anything.

                I think they will not refund the money neither allow me to book again the flight tickets.. I am not belongs to rich family to avoid this.

                So, it is my humble request to you to please take any action on this issue and resolve it asap.

                From last 15 days i tried to contact them but they are not responding then how can you people resolved this case?

                  I am unable to get thru to their call centre and their online-chat keeps giving stupid and unrelated responses to my queries.

                  Since the flight has been cancelled by air asia themselves, i seek full refund for the two tickets booked thru easemytrip. Easemytrip is not providing me proof that airlines have refused refund.

                    I have booked airasia flight no. I5769 from ahmedabad to kolkata for 11.35pm on 20th march, 2020.
                    Please find the attached ticket for your reference.

                    But the police at ahmedabad didn't let me go to airport as all routes are closed towards the airport because of lock down.

                    I am unable to cancel the tickets also since it says non refundable.

                    But it is not my fault. I will like to have full refund of it

                      On 21 march 2020, i took flight 152467with my mother to bang lore to indore. Our flight landed ati indore airport app17.15. Sadly, could not find my luggage on the conveyor hence, made a lost luggage report to airasia vide the indore airport authorities. Meanwhile, my husband tried calling the airasia customer service hotline but no answer for the next few hours & when he did finally get someone on the line, airasia advised my husband to go to the terminal to lodge a report….. What the heck, what if my husband was calling from indore …what’s the point of having a number to call when they cannot attend to queries on the line??? Having said all that, my husband did drive all the way to indore @ 4 p. M. & was told that they had not eceived my report frombanglore but still could not locate my luggage. Just told to wait.
                      Anyway, back indore i received a call from indore at 14.30 p. M. & told to claim my luggage from the airport. The indore told me to get an explanation from airasia, apparently the & lsquo;lost luggage’ was caused by airasia
                      Basically, i had to spend 5000 to purchase clothings, undergarments & toiletries, pay for return cab fare to indore airport to claim my luggage & air asia did not even have the courtesy to call & apologise or the least airasia could do was to explain what the heck happened to my luggage!!! But this is what i think, they missed loading my luggage at terminal & upon receiving my report, looked for my luggage, loaded it on the next flight t (Arrived at 8.30 p. M.) & just assumed problem solved! How rude!!

                        To whoever is reading this give your full attention please try and understand on how i feel i have been robbed by air asia.
                        What was suppose to be my first flight ever and my friends first air asia flight became a terrible exp.

                        I booked my tickets pnr - iudrgf on 25th feb 2020 on a round trip mumbai to bangalore

                        19th march 8.10 am mumbai to bangalore
                        22 nd march return journey in the evening.
                        Tickets were for 2

                        With the virus thret looming and karnataka on a lockdown i decided to reschedule my ticket as i read air asia is free rescheduling

                        After trying your helpline and staying on ivr for 2hrs for 3 days each straight because the line will never connect everyday & to see your all star representative page only loading and not going through both 3 days straight, i finally decided to make changes from the air asia app on 16th march 2020

                        Firstly the flight was booked through paytm so it wont get refund is what the chat suggested, later on i went to manage booking to check if it can be rescheduled for free on the air asia app i went ahead selected dates from 2nd june to 5th june as i went ahead i wanted to see if i will get a amount adjusted or the somewhere i will have to pay and get my old money refunded. At one point it became crystal clear to me that i have to pay 8000+ more to reschedule so i canceled the payment, try and understand how dumb of a move it is as i already had paid 8000 for the tickets now to reschedule it would have cost me 16000 where as the tickets booked without reschrduling on the same junr dates were 1.5k each rounding for two people at 6000 which is very stupid.
                        Anyway i decided not to pay so i cancelled at the make payment page. Now my old booking is gone from the manage booking page its only showing the june dates and the option to pay.
                        Confunsed i ran to the airport air asia domestic counter 16th march 2020 6.15 pm to check with the representative there he said free rescheduling only can be done by paytm for us you will have to oay the difference i said ok understood but why am i not seeing my old booking on the app, and asked him showing hard copy of my 19th march tickets "my tickets are still valid right? Because i am freezed on the app and cabt see" he checked the computer abd said yes by nod of the head. I said ok fine rather than taking the loss i might aswell exp first flight journey in the virus scare.

                        19th march 6am domestic airport and at my baggage check in section started a nightmare that will last for 2 hours.
                        After seeing my tickets your representative told me i cant fly reschedule request is been put thru.

                        I told them yes but i did it myself but i dint go thru with it because of it not being free abd informed them about my visit at the airport and confirmation from your booking counter that my tickets are still valid.

                        2 hours my back and forth went with your ground staff team, here on which i only heard lies's and cover up's from them.

                        Your duty officer - lakshami bedwekar if that is the right name cane up with most of lies and nonsense, and the most unprofessional representative i have ever seen who kept running from the situation after she told me nothing can be done.

                        1st she told me your ticket is from paytm go to paytm, to which i told her i rescheduled from air asia app not from paytm

                        2nd to the booking office incident she said maybev our representative told you ticket stands at 6.15 pm and the reschedule request went on later, i said is it my fault? How am i suppose to know

                        3rd time she said we will try for a credit request but cannot assure, i said okay do it and gove me some reference number to the request.

                        4 she assigned vidhur guest service agent nice guy and understood my situation but he also started lying

                        Vidhur and his lie.
                        I checked everything cant help you sir but credit request will be put up i said ok fine give me regerence number or mark me cc in the email or give me hard copy of the email

                        He said its confidential and we cannot give you anything i was shocked to hear that i asked how would i follow up he said it will come on your app, when i asked what if it does not give me something as a proof. He said he cant

                        I said ok show me the email you have sent.
                        On his phone he showed me an email which had a bunch of pnr but not mine i said where is mine, he said will send it that was lie number 2 they were all just trying to get rid of the situation
                        Came in your duty officer again i said to her we will leave just give us some reference to escallate this or call someone above you for me to talk
                        To which she said we will do the credit request and left the situation again
                        She called the guy sufel passenger service agent who gave me the confirmation on 16th now obviously he changed his story and started to lie.
                        It was like everyone was covering up for your employess mistake whereas at one point i told them i understand sometimes weake a mistake just dont lie or try to proove me a liar and please help me escallate this to atleast an acknowledgement of a mistake if nothing can be done i will be ok with that aswell.

                        It was a nightmare and barrage of lie's in the end i can only take the name and position of all these people on a piece of paper and nothing else i left the aiport now i am writing this note.

                        All the bookings i made in bangalore that is at loss aswell all because of 2 reason 1 your app made changes without me making payment and 2 most importantly your booking counter rep sufel made a mistake by being sure that my flight still stands.

                        To sum it up i dont want to pay for rescheduling and its still there, i can no longer go in june as my bookings in bangalore are at loss for the next 4 days, and your app only is giving me the option to pay or bare the loss

                        From this note i expect you to help me.
                        Because already a lot of loss and enbarassment at the airport is only dealth by me.
                        I hearby request you to please clear my rescheduling from the app as i no longer am interested in the june date and second about the 8k i paid please give a flight credit if not a refund.

                        With the covid-19 virus issue i can understand opperating a air line industry is not a joke with all the losses and continous calls at the call center. But i feel like overall i was fooled. And your representative could have done a better job by not lying to get rid of me or given some solution from their end to escalate this further.

                        Hoping to hear back from you.
                        Please help

                          My flight with pnr no. Z9rn6e was cancelled and now airasia is not refunding the full amount. It's their responsibility to refund the full amount as they cancelled the flight.
                          But they are charging me cancellation fee of 3500 rupees.
                          Poor customer service and they are making the customer go through this injustice.
                          Refund the full amount asap.

                          My air asia flight with PNR H1MVMZ was preponed in this I have to cancel my tickets and airlines Informed me that I will get a complete refund but they have charged cancellation price for each customer and they are not issue refund for the cancellation charge.

                            During this situation in india and also globally when people are affected or asked to be safe for corona virus. They are bound to cancel the tickets seeing the situations everywhere. Being a regular customer of air asia how can you do this deduction of full ticket cost in cancelation. You should see the situation globally and give your customers at least 50% refund. Very upset to the service of air asia. No humanity nothing in this situation also you all are having taking others money in your pocket.. Bad service and no good feedback to share with you people.

                              I have an upcoming travel from delhi to chennai on[protected]. We have booked tickets for 9 people.

                              With corona virus becoming a serious pandemic threat, i would like to cancel my reservation.

                              I tried to contact air asia customer support center for past 3 days, it's always busy and not reachable. I tried to contact them through twitter, no response from there too.

                              The travel is on 21st march, so after today it will cross the 72 hour limit. Many airlines requesting their users to do either cancellation or rescheduling before 72 hours.
                              The lack of response from their support is what worries me.

                              In light of several other airlines waiving cancellation fee, i would like air asia to see if they can do anything similar to that considering current covid-19 situation.

                                The costumer care told me to contact after 18 august, but my concern is whats the point in contacting in august while my date of travel is 18 march, at that point of time neither i will be getting the amount after cancellation nor rescheduling is allowed at that time. I told them that i am ready to pay the ticket price different of child for the infant, but they said its also not possible. Neither they are rescheduling for 4 adult and 1 child while cancelling the infant ticket, so that i can buy a fresh ticket for her.

                                I need you to sort out the matter at the earliest.

                                  I have booked a ticket from melbourne to kochi and would like to reschedule it. I am unable to modify the ticket from website due to their website's technical glitch as the infant [elaina] added is turning 2 years old for new date. Airasia should remove infant elaina immediately from the booking so that i can reschedule ticket for the adult. I can also book a full adult fare ticket for elaina as well. I have told them that i am ready to forfeit infant charges and have written approval email many times for the same, still no update from airasia.
                                  I have created two complaints [complaint numbers: 35032232, 35034682, 35056267, 35064911, 35360431, 35393836] before and airasia support team asked me to contact airasia through twitter. They have closed both the complaint case numbers without my consent. I was not a twitter user and i created an account for this and there is no response from airasia through twitter as well. I have lodged a new complaint and this is the complaint case number[protected].
                                  Please help me to resolve this issue.

                                    My baggage was two days delayed. I did all the procedures for claim the compensation that the company told me, i did the chat with ava, then i contacted the insurance company. I had a big patience chatting with them, sending thousands of times the same information they required again and again, and finally they told me that i have to email air asia. So i did. And then the company replied i have to chat with ava... Again.
                                    I'm going in circles, nobody helps me, this is never ending history.
                                    I have contacted AVA and Customer Care for travel certificate for booking reference for X3H8GT, However customer care is not ready to help and disconnected the call on AVA is running in to error

                                      I have an upcoming travel to jaipur later this month (March 2020). With corona virus (Covid-19) becoming a serious health threat and since i will be traveling with my 1 year old kid, i would like to cancel my reservation.

                                      Despite multiple efforts trying to explain my situation to customer support on the phone, email and through the automated system ava i have been asked to pay a hefty cancellation fee (Approx. ₹3000 per person per leg - which is almost the same as the ticket price).in addition, the customer support agents have been rude and insensitive.

                                      In light of several other airlines waiving cancellation fee, i called air asia support again to see if there is a similar update with air asia too. Sadly no.

                                      I requested if, instead of cash refund, i can receive a full refund as airline credits that i can use for a future travel with air asia when the covid-19 situation improves. That was also denied.

                                        Worst airline ever!
                                        First we had to pay extra for cabin bag, which no other airline made us do. We took indigo, vietnam airlines, vietjet and everywhere we could take our bags without any hesitation.
                                        On top of that, me and my husband had to sit separately because they couldn’t give us seats together. Who does that? That’s so cheap!
                                        The airline was going empty due to corona virus hit, they could have easily given us 2 seats together.
