    I was booking flight dated 26.01.2017 from goa to delhi. Booking date 28.11.2016 but due some reasons was not booked. I called air asia they said no transaction or booking is made but the debited the amount rs. 9573 from my account, and said to speak to my bank for this on 12.12.2016 my bank said that the amount was sent to the merchant then i called again the air asia for the same then they confirmed yes the booking was made and said that it is duplicate booking for which the cancelled my second booking and said that the amount will be refunded within 5 working days. But no refund was made later when i called them again they said it is under process and take 7 working days not 5 working days. Now the given time period is lapsed and now again they are saying it will take 7 more working days.

      On my recent travel from goa to delhi on nov 28, air asia flight i5 776 charged me inr 400 for providing me a seat in the flight. (pnr # vgwu8j, seat # 7 e & f)
      I checked in at air asia counter at 1.30 pm for the flight departure at 3.10 and was told by the lady at the counter that all the seats in air asia flight are chargeable. i was told that if i need a seat from row # 1 to 14, i need to pay inr 200 per seat and for seats from 15 till the end, i need to pay inr 99 per seat.
      When i asked her that i have already made a booking months back and why are they charging me for a seat, i was told this is the way air asia works and if i want to board the flight i need to pay this amount. i checked in much ahead of time and there were more than 60-70 customers who checked in after me to collect the boarding passes.
      I paid inr 400 for 2 seats over and above the regular booking amount that i paid a few months ago.
      While in the flight, i got to know that air asia has charged everyone a different amount. 2 students were sitting beside me who were asked inr 500 per seat for the same row however they paid very less amount.
      Air asia is making a fool of customers and are overcharging the customers to provide a seat in the flight. does that mean that when i booked my flight the booking was to stand in the flight and not to sit???
      Some lawyer please contact me as i have all the receipts and boarding passes and i want to sue air asia for their fraud they are doing with the customers. attached are the receipts and the card charge receipt reflecting the time (1.31 pm) when i collected the boarding passes.

      AIR ASIA - OVERCHARGING FOR PROVIDING SEATS

      This comment is being just posted to create awareness among other people that Air Asia is just making fool of thier customers by displaying that they offer the cheapest fare in the market among other competitors.
      On my flight from Goa to Delhi, 25-02-17 Air Asia I5-797, PNR ULH9TD the departure time was 21:50 and we check in at 19:00 that is too early still the lady giving Boarding pass charged us Rs. 400 for giving seats together although in every other flight seat preference is being asked by the customer.

      It was very shocking that Air Asia doesnt value their customer.

      Later on it was seen that with every person boarding this flight they have treated the same way by not alotting the preffered seats.

      This is not right way to earn money and making fool by showing Low fares onscreen and afterwards charging .

        I had a booking from Hong Kong to Kuala Lumpur on 14th may 2016 by flight number AK 131 with seat nmbr 26C departing at 20:25 from Hong Kong
        I checked in around 5:45 first I was issued boarding pass to be taken back again on pretending to give after checking again
        The lady at the counter denied boarding due to her ignorance and poor knowledge saying she cannot allow boarding as there was no visa
        Actually I had onward ticket from Kuala Lumpur to Bangalore within 60 hours and for Indian passport if there is onward ticket there is transit visa on arrival
        Any AirAsia staff denied boarding and issued new ticket by taking a payment of 2200HK$app
        I demand compensation from air Asia

          Hi,

          I had booked 2 tickets from Bangalore to Vishakhapatanam for my parents. Airlines postponed the flight without any information to my email id/sms. Later I cancelled the tickets on 18th October 2016 as the airlines postponed the flight.I called the customer care number 8-9 times for my refund.No one is responding properly. They are just misguiding me wait for 48 hours and then again 48 hours.They are not even allow me to connect to their manager.They took my contact number.Noone came back from AirAsia on my contact number.My PNR number is FH1F2T.

          This is the first time I booked a ticket and this is the mental harassment this air line is doing with me to refund the money. Today Its been 17-18 days I have not yet received my money.Please help me to get my money back.

            I had booked air ticket from bangalore to singapore and back. The tickets were booked through cleartrip.com. The complaint is regarding the return journey.
            The tickets were booked in Air Asia. The return journey started at Singapore at 21.20 on 12 Oct 2016 through Air Asia AK 720, reached Kaulalampur at 22.30 and we had to catch the connecting flight to Kochi through Air Asia Flight Ak 37 at 6.00 on 13 october 2016. We were four passangers and we had no interest to visit Malasia, and hence we had not taken the visa of malasia. However at Kaulalampur, the air asia personnel refused to issue the boarding pass through the transist corridor and asked us to go out of the terminal and get the boarding pass. for this we had to take a visa on arrival which cost us 414.6 ringget (105 USD).
            Now the complaint
            1. We had no intention of visiting malasia and unnecessarialy had to pay the visa on arrival fee.
            2 . we were told that the malasia visa was not necessary if not interested in visiting the country.
            3. The personel at the Air Asia counter in KL were not helpful and tried to harras us. we were told that since we had taken the ticket through skypicker, AIR ASIA is not at all interested to help us.

              My daughter who flies every month between Delhi to Gawuahati faces delayed departure without a miss if it's air Asia at Gawuahati . But this time it was worse as she was booked for the 6.10am flight to Gawuahati on 12th Oct which was clubbed with 5.25Pm flight same day by a SMS from air Asia six days in advance. However that was not all, when she reached airport during afternoon she was told that the flight is further delayed till 7.10pm without sending any SMS or intimations. She argued that as it is the entire day is wasted but arriving at close to 10pm at Gawuahati airport & taking a cab to her hostel 30kms away is risky & that's the reason why she chooses a morning flight. She requested for some assistance in the way of lady staff at Gauahati airport to accompany her to her destination for safety reasons but air Asia staff showed no concern what so ever or no senior officers showed up to accommodate her in next morning flight. All this for a ticket costing excess of Rs.6000/-. I feel dismayed at air Asia staff at IGI airport & wish they would help a young girl genuinely asking for help on safety reasons purely due to airlines fault. Hope some one wakes up at Air Asia while I post this lines & pray for the safe arrival of my daughter to her destination. : Ashish Bose [protected]

                Please check this before 16 Oct 2016 so that they don't come back and tell that it was checked outside the promotion period.
                I have been trying to book ticket for Jaipur to Bangalore for my relative. Air asia offers a promotion of lowest fare.

                On the landing page it shows me low price of 3299/- but when I try to book ticket within travel period, price bumps too high approx 6k.

                  I booked a return ticket from bangalore to chandigarh but in returm time reached 25 minutes prior on mohali airport because of confusion between chandigarh and mohalli airport. After reaching there at airport at boarding counter there is no staff and when i asked someone he told he is the manager here and we dont have staff now at boarding counter as of now so we can't allow you for boarding. My query is only that if your airline dont have sufficient staff then why customer will suffer and he simply told just go at ticket counter and book indigo flight. Please note i am frequent customer of air asia because of your airline service but that day its very very horrible.                       I cancelled the booking through their call center and refund amount was around 3808 but i never got the refund. They are saying that the amount is refunded in month of february. I have provided them the bank statements for the specified month but to no avail.

                      The ticket is either closed or there is no reply from their end. There is no way to track the ticket and no escalation points.

                        Its been 10 days and there has been no response to my complaint # CAS[protected]W61BW from Air Asia, except an acknowledgment email that my complaint was submitted.
                        Not sure of what levels of service this airline holds but this is bar far the lowest I've ever seen. The claim amount is minimal, however the distress and disappointment is huge.
                        I'm not sure if I would hear back on this complaint, but here's to wishful thinking.

                          I have worst experience while travelling with air asia from chandigarh to banglore togay on aug 15. I have purchased tickets well in time. When reached at counter of air asia the person sitting told me and my wife neelam sood that you cannot sit together in plane. You will have to pay rupees 500 etc per seat for seat adjustment. I am regularly flying on other air lines but this type of chating never seen. Not me other passengers were also harrased and forced to pay rupees 200/500 per seat. Iam moving to consumer court in my state claiming damages. I also request mr ganpati raju civil aviation minister to save passengers from the exploitation of air asia by exploiting the sentiments of passengers. Ravinder sood

                            An airline which barely bothers about the medical condition of customer, staff especially the manager Sameer Ingale who did not even bothered despite of telling him again and again that the bangalore city was packed with traffic and it took more than 3 hours to reach kempegowda airport and i have a scheduled chemotherapy in Delhi as i am a cancer patient, he did not bother at all.
                            I had a flight in Air Asia from bangalore to Delhi at 20:50 pm and my wife had flight to delhi in Go airway at 20:40 pm. Go airways provided my wife the boarding pass when she and me together reached airport checkin counters at 20:10 to our respective airlines. She got the boarding pass and when on telling the manager 'Sameer Ingale' and ground staff 'Lisha' the same, Lisha on the very first spoke to me pathetically and that too in an unprofessional manner and the manager said " are go airways ko maaro goli, wo karte honge ham nhi karte" i almost begged to give an exception and also the fellow passengers who also missed the flight asked the manager if I being a cancer patient should be helped or not we had a pathetic response that i should take care of my medical condition and he is not responsible for any medical condition and cannot admit me at 20:10. If other airlines which have flight 10 mins prior to the schedule of 20:50 can issue a boarding pass to their customers as ideally 25 mins prior to the departure the boarding closes.
                            When i was pleading in front of the staff especially the manager in duty 'Sameer Ingale' he was too rude and ignorant of my state despite of the fact that the entire city was packed of huge traffic due to the KSRTC &BMTC strike.
                            I appeal a strict action to be taken on the manager 'Sameer Ingale' and the ground staff 'Lisha' who actually do not have any courtesy and professionalism to deal with the customers and also request the entire nation not to travel with such airlines which has no moral values!

                            The manager in orange shirt almost threatens me of life to delete the photographs i have taken and ask me not to post this on social media
                            The guy in orange shirt is the manager Sameer Ingale and the lady sitting is Lisha who almost made sure that i was not able to go out of airport as well if i did not delete the pics on my mobile.
                            Please if this page is reviewed let me know what action has been taken on these unprofessional staff and what is the escalation matrix i should follow.
                            This happened on 25th july and i even after escalating this to management of airasia what i get in response is is a fake apology letter which does not contains the names of the staff and also not mention that what action is taken over those manner-less staff. and the refund which they are giving me is 1095 only. What a correction by the so called reputed airlines

                              To the concerned

                              I would like to give you a detailed account of my experience with air asia on the 24th of july, 2016. i was supposed to travel from goa to bangalore by the 14:05 pm flight (pnr no. niqwjq). the facts are as follows:

                              A) i receive information about the cancellation of air asia flight no. i5-1321 (goi-blr), via text message at around 9:55 am, less than 4 hours before reporting time. luckily, i managed to view the message by 10:30 am, 3 hours before reporting time.

                              B) my immediate action was to contact your customer care centre in order to procure more information as the text message provided seemed to lack any necessary details. the call centre put me through an over 25 minute ordeal of back and forth and call waits only to inform me that the air asia policy specifically allows them to provide only one of three options: a full refund of your ticket cost; conversion of points to air asia loyalty account or a ticket out of goa to bangalore within the next 14 days. none of the options help me reach my destination on the day i intend to.

                              C) i specifically ask if they have provisions to put me on an alternate airline out of goa to bangalore (as there were very many operating out of goa on the same day). not only was i informed that air asia does not have a policy of providing alternate airline options for the inconvenience caused, i was duly told that there is absolutely no further higher authority i can contact via phone or in person at the airport who can help me with the same.

                              D) having been literally stranded by your service, i had no other option but to book with another airline if i was to reach bangalore at the scheduled time, i required. i am forced to spend almost rs. 10, 000. all this while i am en route the airport, lest i don't miss the available flight. the stress i’m put through over the roof by this point.

                              E) to my amazement, when i reach the airport and have a word at your counter; i’m informed that you do in fact have provisions to book inconvenienced passengers out of goa on alternate airlines. i'm also informed that the air asia flight which didn’t take off in the morning, also has a few seats on which i could have been accommodated, had i not have purchased another ticket. not only did your customer care not have information about this, they outrightly told me that it will be impossible to get such an option as "it's not part of the air asia policy to provide such an option". the complete lack of co-ordination between your customer care and airline /airport authorities cost me about rs. 10, 000!!

                              I am capable o[censored]nderstanding technical difficulties which can cause you to cancel your flights, but the complete inefficiency and lack of co-ordination between the various departments as well as the casualness with which your company chooses to inform its passengers of cancellations via a single text message (providing zero information of value) is unacceptable. added to that, arriving at the airport to be informed that the customer care employees are providing us with false information, thats just the limit.

                              What i expect is an apology for the mental and physical trauma you’ve put me through along with a full refund for the alternate ticket i had to purchase. i do not wish to go back and forth with reasons and explanations, having to deal with your customer care officials as well as airport officials was a ordeal enough for me. at the same time, this kind of service is unacceptable and i strongly believe it needs to be addressed and resolved. i expect you to understand the same and resolve it amicable and that you do not put me in a position where i will be compelledto take further action.

                              I have sent a detailed mail to [protected]@airasia.com, attaching air asia tickets blr-goi-blr alongwith the new ticket copy purchased by me and the boarding pass.

                                  No reply from their nodal officer padmapriya.

                                  Sending reminders daily but no reply at all.

                                  I prebooked a meal on 22nd of june 2016 for my flight booking no. Cmyckr dated 29th june.
                                  The same was paid through my credit card visa ending with 6796 and also i got a message that your meal has been successfully booked.
                                  But when i asked for my pre booked meal in the flight, i have been told that your name is not there in the list so we cannot serve you the same. You have to pay extra and buy again

                                    Please see below mail which has already been sent to air asia 3 times but there is no response from their end, unacceptable!
                                    Dear team,

                                    This is with regards to the air asia ticket which i cancelled. since it has been more than one month and i have not received my refund amount. this is totally unacceptable and unwarrantable. i had also tried putting my enormous efforts to the service desk and e-form but it did not work, i would request you to look into this issue to avoid any legal action in the future.

                                    Flight detail are as below as:

                                    Travel date: 27th may

                                    Flight: air asia (151721) jaipur to bangalore

                                    Pnr: sbzgvl

                                    Cancellation code: cas[protected]bxlcw

                                    Above mentioned ticket has already been cancelled but amount is still not refunded.

                                      I have booked the airasia return ticket from malaysia on 15th of june after booking the ticket i didn't get the confirmation, then i contacted with one of airasia live chat agent as they confirmed ticket is not confirmed you can fill online refund form, i have submitted the same., still i did not get refund amount whenever contact to live agents they are saying we are escalating to next level you will get soon update... How many days i need to wait this, there is no updation in airasia website refund status.

                                      Due to their system slownes/delayed, live agent confirmation as "not confirmed booking" then 16th of june i have booked return ticket (From airasia only) again for this i got instant/immediate confirmation

                                      Now i am waiting for 1st return ticket refund due to not confirmed.

                                        We were travelling on 1st july 2016 from delhi to sydney we were three passenger they did not give to board anybody due to kamla devi they said that visa problem in kamla devi but when we call to australia embassy next day they said that airasia said that on same day same name passenger same dob same husband name travelled they thought that kamla devi is travelling againm but why did they not see passport no and visa grand number it was differernt but they said that this kamla devi is travelling again they should have see the passport no is different and visa grant number is different but they did not give to board anybody after that they said that the flight is non refundable there is my no mistake so we want my refund 36000 rs pnr no SIBUHD(puran chand kamla devi) and 27000 rs YCL7FV (savitri savitri ) pls give my refund cut tax
