I had booked a Air Asia flight from Kolkata to Bangkok [FD2672] for travel on 27th November 2013 and return [FD2671] on the 05th December 2013 as attached. Air Asia later re-scheduled the flight timings and we had to cancel the bookings. We were promised full refund of the amount as it was the airlines fault of re-scheduling the timings affecting our plans. We lodged a refund request with Air Asia and were asked to furnish bank details on 25th October 2013. We have been given a case number as CAS[protected]Z8H2Z on 25th November 2013. But there is no further response from the airline. I would request you to kindly intervene and help us get back the money. This is a very serious case of cheating a customer on the part of the Air Asia.

    Sir/Mam My name is vaibhav Kapoor and I have done booking for Bangkok via booking ID HYFM9T in april this year. Yesterday I got a mail from Air Asia that my flight have been cancelled and I will get the refund but the questions is who will bear for the cancellation charges of flight which I have booked in advance from Delhi to Kolkatta and back.I am suffering a loss of 16k on flights cancellation. This is not fair as when I would have cancelled the tickets entire money would have been forfitted by Air Asia and now you have cancelled you are saying to give only the principal amount. Who will bear the cancellation charges of 15k and the loss of interest on money which have been used by Air Asia. I need refund of my tickets plus penalty charges plus 15k cancellation charges + interest charges for my money used for 10 months I will submit you the proof of the charges. If not settled in next 15 days I will be moving to court of law to demand this penalty amount

      Hi, On the 27 sept 1430 we rush to our gate for the flight at 1440. The ground crew doesnt allow us to go in and insist us to leave the area unless we buy a new ticket. The air asia crew ask them to unload our luggage but the upset thing is they have time to unload but no time to let us enter. The air asia crew at first did not offer us solution until we suggest to take other flight. We are very upset in the service and her reply.

        I was denied boarding of my flight to Penang for being late for 15mins. The customer service officer informed that their registration counter was closed 45mins before departure time. They informed that I can board the next flight but need to pay fare difference which is more costly compared to other operators even after deducting my previous fare. I will definitely boycott Airasia airlines in future for trying to exploit the customers. I suffered loses to my airfare and hotel booking travel arrangements etc

          Hi, We travelled in Airasia flight on 6th Aug'13 from Singapore to Malaysia (Kuala Lumpur), we (4 persons) booked in the flight AK1810 due to unavoidable circumstances we are delay to check in ( check in closed only 5min before with that also air asia is not ready to do check in) after a long discussion, i took decision to travel on Next flight with Airasia when we check only all the unhidden information are coming out. The below fee we paid during our booking on AK1810 4 Guest 76.00 SGD Passenger Security Fee 32.00 SGD Passenger Service Fee 79.60 SGD Aviation Levy 24.40 SGD Fuel Surcharge 24.00 SGD Sub Total 236.00 SGD Services & Fees 4 x AirAsia Insure OneWay 24.00 SGD 2 x Check-In Baggage - up to 25kg 46.00 SGD 4 x Pick A Seat 12.00 SGD 4 x Processing Fee 32.00 SGD 4 x SKYB 16.00 SGD Sub Total 130.00 SGD Total Amount 366.00 SGD When we asked about to book for next flight, airasia is not ready to pay of other charges apart from the basic fee, if the passenger is not travelled or missed the flight, why he need to pay the charges for Baggage, Fuel, Seat Pick, I requested them to use the money which i paid and answer his Airasia is Low Budget flight and we will not do any modification. Point here, if the person is not travelling why he need to pay for fuel and other charges, if airline can able to take the basic fee its normal but taking the other charges is fraut. They cant say we are Low Budget flight, its not my problem due to low budget flight whatever they can do whether passenger and government needs to allow. More over the way sales guy and check in lady behaviour is very very worst, as a passenger we are not travelling without paying money or free of cost atleast airasia needs to learn how to treat their passenger as customer,

            Company promised a full refund, what I got was to say the least NOT.

            Tried to ring the Thailand number and selected 9 for English got Thai and then the line drops out on you!!

            Not impressed with this company at all, I should avoid them at all costs.

            They are quick at taking your money but very very slow at refunding it.
            Are they refunding the amount ???
            Yes but it was stressful because I had to buy tickets with another airline so was out of pocket for quite sometime

            I would never use AirAsia again.

              Some one hiring on behalf of Airasia .He/She has posted his/her ad on times of india on date-may-01/2013 .In this ad nothing has been mention like name of company, phone number etc. They just listed -for more information login into -jobs.airasia.com" and one gmail id. when you login into Airasia website .It is clearly mention there they have not hired any third party for job recruitment and there emails are always @airasia.com .

              Please be aware.It is lose of 1200/- which they will charge at time of interview.

                Im so angry with Air Asia, the staff claimed that we could save our RM10 for web check in and need to pay more RM293 for penalty in return. It is uselss to make web-check in as we are refused to enter the flight because of our luggage not checked in 2 hours in ahead. We spend 1 hour in AIRASIA counter and half an hour quarrelling with the staff for not helping on our luggage and say BYE to our flight. Ends up, we had been penalties to pay RM293 to buy another ticket for returns. Even, the staff refuse to give us the rate at first and ask us to pay a new ticket of RM 500++ due to our complaints in the counter and returned our credit cards for not lodging our purchase. Even, the "ASIA MANAGER" called the security guard and a few legal officer to interview me when i wish to take down the inccident. Im wondering is that AIR ASIA tactic to train the staff so, or AIR ASIA has used the tactic to increase the air -ticket in directly where not advise the customer to go for the flight but advise the customer to buy a new ticket and say bye bye to the original flight after waiting one hour in airport!

                  I, Deepak Kumar Tokas, had booked 2 tickets on 23/11/2011 in your airlines through Expedia.com for travel from Delhi to Bali (DPS) on travel date 10/02/2012,
                  Booking Ref No: MBMZHN. Call Ref No:[protected]
                  On 10/02/2012, the day of flight, to the utter surprise when I took a print out of the itinerary I realized that the flight timings of my connecting flight from KUL to DEL were changed from the actual schedule without prior notice and the transit time between the connecting flights was only for 10 minutes. . It came as a shock to me as I had never been informed about the change of timings. I was then forced to cancel my trip and I made a request to your airlines directly through a telephonic call to cancel my tickets as I had no other option because I was not getting any acceptable & reasonable response from the staff.
                  I made a call to your Customer Care Centre on toll free number [protected] at around 14:00 Hrs on 10/02/2012 and discussed the matter with your executive Ms. Ritika & Anjali and Prashant. After keeping me on call for nearly 2 hours, I was informed that I should have contacted earlier and now nothing can be done and I would miss my connecting flight on my return anyway and the next available flight would be after 4-5 days. I was very disappointed because they gave me no satisfactory reply because to stay at the airport I was also required a visa and how I am supposed to get a visa at last moment.
                  Your staff informed me that they have escalated the matter to the concerned department and I will receive a full refund of Rs. 40,950 within 30 days of acknowledgment of the request. I also requested Ms Sandhya, Revati to transfer the money in my HDFC savings A/c instead of the Credit Card I used to make the booking as it was my friend’s Credit Card which he lost afterwards. To this request your airline staff agreed and asked for my Saving Accounts details which I provided them at their request. However now it’s been more than 3 months and I am still waiting for the refund. You can see another example of negligence and disrespect of the matter by the staff of your airline.
                  Grievances
                  Due to the above incident and chain of events it is proven gross mistakes, negligence, poor customer service and lack of sincerity by your employees, following are my grievances which requires your kind attention for redressal from your good office and seek your intervention:-
                  I booked my trip at least 3 months in advance and I had to cancel it on the day of departure just few hours before the take off. I was so upset because I had planned this trip in advance. All my plans were ruined because I was not informed about the change of schedule in advance and no good suggestions were given by your staff. They simply told me to cancel the flight as there were no options available.
                  Me and my partner were in tears as we had planned so much this trip, I have gone through a lot of stress & trauma and and this brought me a lot of mental harassment as well.
                  I received an email on 07/02/2012 that my flight from delhi to Kuala Lampur was rescheduled but I did not receive any mail or SMS regarding change of flight time for my return, . Had I been informed I not have cancel my flight.
                  I am being a senior officer of an esteemed organization, wasting precious time of mine by involving in communicating and writing for explanation in the matter. In return I should be given a good compensation apart of the refund.

                  Earlier I had no intention of taking this matter to court but now I consider I have to take a legal action because of the harassment that I am facing.

                        Had a duplicate booking issue while booking my ticket from chennai to KL, means had 2 tickets delivered to me and i mailed the company reg,.this so they asked me choose a flight and i flew with the same. The other ticket they said they ll return the money..but even after their 31 days waiting period still no reply from them...and i keep mailing them..kindly help me to get back my money

                          This to bring everyones attention , towards this company . We ordered electronic modules from them , and they(India staff) replied with a datasheet and product which we ordered. After we received the product and we wanted to operate it we contacted the manufacturer regarding their modules . It was shocking to find that www.arrow.com sourcer EOL / obsolete products to us. When we tried to contact them they
                          stopped replying and said goods once sold will not be taken back.

                          I caustion anyone buying products from these people stop doing so as they aquire agencies from multinational vendors and keep obsolete stock and sell that at high price. All the indian staff of arrow electronics is rude . Mohanbabu is manager in India and is a person who allows
                          all this .

                            hi, i had missed my Air Asia flight no: FD-3797 on 16th April 20011 & departure time was 11:10 pm from New Delhi (DEL) Indira Gandhi international airport
                            to bangkok suvarnabhumi international airport because of the wrong information regarding counter closing before the time mention on my E ticket & i
                            reached the counter at 10:00 pm .but no one was there & i was told to contact Air Asia customer care regarding this issue & i had called the customer

                            to come at 8 o'clock in the morning..& we reached the airport counter in the morning but they told me to come at 7o'clock in the evening..then i had a

                              My booking ID is EYJETN and I was to fly on 25 April 2011.

                              Now, I've got a mail from AIR ASIA stating that the fligh timings have been changed. I am sorry but these new timings don't suit me and I want to cancel this ticket but these buggers are not listening me to and its been over 10 days I am daily dropping mails and calling these guys but all in vain. Some day they tell me that this will be refunded, some day I hear that this will be given to you as a coupon which you can use later, and NOW THEY ARE SAYING WE CAN'T CANCEL IT.

                              AIRASIA — cheating money

                              i had booked a ticket for malaisia through online on 16.02.11.in first attempt i was tried to pay the ticket amount via my indian overseas bank debit card.my bookinf was unsuccessful and the error message was appeared.thereafter i was tried to pay the amount through credit card and my booking was completed.But unfortunately for very same passenger and for very same date two tickets have been booked because of an error committed by airashia.the booking nos is 1.BCWYTH,2.DC9WSX.there after i received a mail regarding duplicate booking and i had replied immediately to conforming the duplicate booking and i requested to cancel the duplicate booking and refund of money.but unfortunately no response from airshia.till date they a are not refund my money wantonly.

                              For sake of clarity kindly confirm if the following pnr numbers
                              I6CIJZ, LB32YN and AD9L6B
                              are subject matter of a valid contract as set out in your terms as 3.1.

                              kindly clarify whether 5.3 is applicable when customer cancels booking or vendor cancels flights unilaterally after entering into a contract

                              and the meaning of route as set out should normally be that
                              "Route" means the flight from the airport at the point of origin to the airport at
                              the point of destination.

                              in the case of flights in the said pnr numbers
                              I6CIJZ, LB32YN and AD9L6B
                              please explain clearly
                              about the
                              circumstances beyond your control or for reasons of safety
                              or commercial reasons that have prompted you to unilaterally violate the contract unilaterally

                              what are your obligations in case you fail to
                              carry the stranded passengers
                              at the earliest opportunity on another of your scheduled services on which space is available

                              what other remedies are available to innocent passengers in case they are unwilling to accept to
                              travel at another time,
                              or retain the value of their fare in a credit account for your future travel ?

                                Can you believe this which was happened at KL Air Asia on Jan 29, 2011
                                1.) Racism
                                The term and condition are not in Chinese. If you were not English educated, remember to hire a translator (best with lawyer) to read through the agreement prior to purchase. Everyone can fly with Air Asia and bear your own risk if you did not understand English.

                                2.) Too civilized ground staff / customer service
                                The ground staff will tell you that your dB (noise level) is too high (not too sure whether there was a dB meter at Air Asia customer service desk) and if you ask for permission to record your conversation with Air Asia ground staff as an evident, they will directly share with you that Air Asia will sue you for recording the conversation. If you insist to record your conversation, Air Asia ground staff and customer service will ask security to “move” you away.

                                3.) Interesting Price rate
                                When you ask for rate of same flight at the same day, watch out…. Air Asia customer service might share at least two different rating within 30 minutes.

                                4.) Interesting flight schedule
                                Air Asia might tell you a flight schedule that has already been cancelled. Either the computer system or customer service staff was not well train

                                5.) Friendly reminder to Northern Chinese – Your dB will surely exceed Air Asia dB requirement. So, if you plan to fly with Air Asia, then you better learn how to lower your normal dB.

                                6.) Friendly reminder to all non English educated human being – seek for lawyer to read Air Asia term and condition before fly with this specific airline. Furthermore, hire a translator as when you experienced difficulty, this person will be the best help to you and your family, and not Air Asia ground stuff or customer service.

                                7.) Do not trust Air Asia On-line Sales Team
                                They will say one thing, and the ground staff / customer service will do another thing, which is totally disaster to consumer.

                                8.) Excellent communication system in case of emergency
                                When there was an emergency happened, Air Asia ground staff and customer service will ask you to file a complaint at Air Asia website. And they are so helpful to remind you that you have to pay for the hot line.

                                China Southern Air line has reduced their price rate tremendously from Guan Zhou to KL and Penang since 2010.

                                  I am Ashok and I had booked tickets for my travel form Kolkata to Kuala lampur in August 2010 for 11th May 2011 in Air Asia Airline. Secondly I had booked tickets related to this from Kualampur to Bali for 12th May 2011, Bali to Singapore for 16th May 2011, Singapore to Kualampur for 19th May 2011 and back to Kolkata for 19th May 2011.

                                  But I am sorry to say that the flight from Kolkata to Kualamper has been cancelled for the whole Month of May 2011. I only realized about the cancellation when I tried to retrieve the information about the itinerary on Air Asia website using the Booking Number.It just did not show anything, no information about cancellation, just asked me to try again later as there seems to be some problem. Same message was shown for quite a few attempts at random intervals. Then I got Suspicious and called the airline call center number.They said that all flights of Kolkata sector has been cancelled but you can avail the rest tickets as it is. But how can I got to Bali from Kuala lampur when they are unable to take me to kualam lampur from kolkata itself. The only solution is to REFUND my money.

                                  What is upsetting me:

                                  1. Why was the airline not even informed me by email or by phone call?
                                  2. What would happen to my further related above bookings?
                                  3. Why had the airline taken the booking nine months earlier if it could not run the flight and give me service for which I had paid?
                                  4. Who is going to pay my compensation for the money I invested so long back.

                                  I am giving them my precious money. I expect them to be more professional and provide the service you are charging me for otherwise the airline should REFUND my hard earned money .

                                  This was my first Experience with Air Asia.com & it went so bad.

                                  My flight ticket refund is under question & i had borne mental stress for the same

                                  I would like to know your response to my complaints and on wastage of precious time and money.

                                  PLEASE TREAT THIS AS URGENT AND REPLY URGENTLY ON THIS MATTER.

                                    Myself Sanjeev Agarwal. I am indian and living in Indonesia. I traveled to India with my family on 21.10.2010 by Air Asia Airlines with return ticket dated 07.11.2010 but unable to return back by same flight due to my son accident. I informed to Air Asia regarding accident and requested for postponed ticket. Air Asia representative all time informed that my request forwarded to concern dept. and I will get credit amount very soon. Now it's already 03 month, I am not getting response from Air Asia. Therefore you are requested kindly considered my case and arrange to refund my return ticket charges.

                                    My Friend Sanjeev Agarwal & Family has travelled to New Delhi India by Air Asia flight as per details attached.

                                    This is Nitu kumari, I tried to book tickets from AIR ASIA app from Bangalore to Ranchi and Ranchi to Bangalore.
                                    6379 rs. has been deducted from my account but I did not received any confirmation/details or refund details. I talked with your customer care executives, they asked me ti fill e-form but I am not able to fill it. It says ' Sorry enquiry could not be saved", I have tried it multiple times.

                                      We had booked the ticket for mum -kul; kul-bali; bali-kul;kul-mum for 2 persons on 25th November'10 and return was on 5th December'10. The check in counter at the airport denied the boarding because they were asking for malaysian transit visa, as the company did not inform us in advance about the same there was no update made to us not at the time of booking also as we booked it 6 months ago, they took the amount 0f Rs. 55,000.00/- and cheating us for the same.

                                      please do the need full at the earliest.

                                      Same thing happened with me. My sister was not allowed to board from Delhi because she did not have transit visa to Malaysia. She had only hand bag. There is a transit route to departure hall. Also air asia web infroamtion says that you can check in at departure hall. I lost her ticket and she could not attend the function at my place. On the other hand, my dad with Indian passport was allowed to use the transit route to departure hall on his way back from Brunei to India. He also had only hand bag. I strongly believe this is due to lack staff training on the part of Air Asia. Air Asia should not only Pay the money back but also should compensate for the inconvenience they have created to us.

                                      I am still waiting for reply to my complaint.

XDGR4 were booked from direct sales agent at Mumbai .While issuing a said ticket it was made clear to your direct sales agent that my client do not intend to stay at kualalumpur but would catch Air Asia flight to Indonesia and your direct sales agent did not communicate to usthat no boarding pass will be issued without a visa.
                                        2. That my clients believed that as per the normal procedure if a passenger is traveling through a 3rd country no visa is required and it is the duty of the direct sales agent to bring these factors to the notice of passengers by prominent intimation. Moreover we have also learned that various other passengers traveling on your airlines on this route of Mumbai -- kualalumpur -- Denpasar have also faced the same problem and the magnitude of the problem is also vast. Even the website did not prominently display such a serious condition of visa requirement even if passanger is just catching onward flight on international route.
                                        3. WE reported for check -in in due time at Chhatrapati Shivaji Mumbai International Airport. We had also asked your counter staff to issue boarding pass but they refused to issue boarding pass. Therefore we also checked with your supervising staff and they intimated with quite bluntness that many people are being turned out for same reason and their tone indicate that they don't bother about passangers suffering.
                                        4. In fact this is an unfair trade practice on part of your airlines and we also found on website of consumercomplaints.in that there are various other passengers who have lodged complaint on website.
                                        5. We therefore would like to intimate you that we may be given refund of amount of fare or we should be given credit note for any other travel plan we desire to choose.
                                        6. we would also call upon you to review the policy of refund on international flights so as to be fair to passengers hard earn money. You must consider the fact that passengers do not plan their trips abroad with intention to cancel as lot of efforts go into the aspect. Considering these aspect we feel that you will not compel us to engage in long drawn communication, follow up and legal course and you are requested to get an amicable fair resolution of the problem.
