I undersigned travelled from Mumbai to Kochi on 17/04/2022 along with my wife, I lost my boarding pass after completing my tour. I have travelled on Govt LTC where I have to submit the boarding pass for reimbursement.

    Took the Air India flight from Kolkata to Sydney (Flight no AI 302).
    BOOKING REFERENCE: TWBOU7

    There was no in flight entertainment in all 3 seats we booked for myself, my daughter and husband. For a 12.5 hour flight this is highly unexpected and very unprofessional of the airline. Upon informing the flight attendants they just confirmed it won't work, no apology nothing.

    Also I had booked for inflight menu where there are options to choose among cuisines. Air India doesn't provide any such options and I was said inflight means vegetarian meal. This was when they had served more than 1 meal to some customers and not even a single lunch to me till 5:15 PM IST which is way past lunch time.

    Horrible experience in the airline and I strongly feel our flight fares should be refunded since they failed to comply with the basics in a long haul flight.

      Flight route change and Inflight tv problem

      Firstly, I travelled with my father and sister from London to India. My daughter also joined us later. He is old, nearly 90 age. We booked direct flight to Kochi but Air India cancelled the return flight (more than once) and we had to fly via Mumbai, on a much longer journey. We booked Air India only for direct connection to Kochi. My seat was no longer available and I had to book new seats further back on plane. My booking reference is below....

        The ticket was originally booked on 27.10.2019 for travel on 17.07.2020. However, all flights were canceled by Air India due corona and I could not travel on the above dates. I called air India office and the executive said they cannot re-book on any flight on a later date as the airline was uncertain about when they would be able to fly.

        As per advice of your contact center executives, I called up again on 23.02.2021 and they re-booked me on AI 134 leaving LHR on 22.07.2021. However, this flight was also canceled by the Airline due to Corona. On calling Air India customer support, they asked me to call them later when flights resume as they were not in a position to re-book on any flight.

        Accordingly I called the customer support on 01.12.2021 to re-book the flight for Aug 2022. I got through the customer support but they did not complete the booking nor called me back, even though I shared my contact details. I am pasting here the mail I wrote to Ms. Poonam, your customer care executive on 01.12.2021:

        I tried to call Ms. Poonam on the number given but it kept disconnecting. Thereafter, I sent another mail to Ms. Sana requesting her/Ms. Poonam to call back and reschedule my flight but to no avail.

        I called the customer service again after two days to learn that my ticket is no longer usable as it passed the validity period. I tried many times thereafter but the customer service was parroting the same lines. I was literally traumatized by then after going through the ordeal over two years and getting my $2700 locked with Air India, who treated me like a beggar.

        I have been a regular traveler with Air India over decades and I never expected this treatment ever. I need my money refunded at the earliest and urge you, in the capacity of CEO of the airline, to take an ethical, moral and judicious decision on this matter.

        Please revert should you need any further info.

          I, Sunil Jaisinghani along with my wife Lavina Jaisinghani were travelling on Air India flight no AI0643 from Mumbai to Udaipur. Both o[censored]s are a around 65 years old and we’re carrying cabin luggage. My wife was unable to put the cabin luggage in the hold and requested a flight steward a Sardar gentleman on the flight to help her put the luggage in the hold. The Sardar gentleman stood there like a statue and did not make the slightest effort to help her. I think this kind of behaviour is unpardonable and request that necessary action be taken against the Sikh flight steward.

            i have all documents sharing with this email, SMS / BANK EMAIL / Fraud complaint email and reply from bank attached.

              I flew to Madurai on 30th December 2022 Business Class Air India. I had checked in three luggage. My luggage was received with damage to the lock and zip handle.

              I came back to Mumbai and gave my luggage to Carlton / VIP for repairs. Here I was informed that the customs / security have cut open the zip lock to check in Mumbai

              If the security had any doubt, they could have called us / contacted us and we would have opened the luggage.

              Since Carlton bags are covered under Life long warranty, the same is getting repaired.

              What is the correct step Air India should have taken on this.

                I wanted to write about my recent AI128 flight experience on 5th january 2023 from London Heathrow to Mumbai.
                First of all the seats were old, broken, torn and they were not reclining at all. So we had to travel 9 hours on an erect seat.

                The entertainment units were not working at all. The crew tried to reset the system but couldn't do it so i had to travel 9 hours staring at nothing.
                And because the entertainment unit was not working the buttons for overhead light and calling flight attendant were not working either. My next seat neighbour was an old lady who was partially blind and could not see with no control of her lights.

                The Toilets were so unclean, so unhygienic and the toilet seats were broken in some places. It felt like i was travelling in a train rather than an international flight.

                I paid around INR 45000 for such a horrible flight experience. I demand a refund or compensation from Air India as this is not professional and not what I deserve as a paying customer.

                  We booked Air India AI934 10.12.2022 to Cochin. The flight was cancelled and since there was an urgent even to attend on 11.12.2022 and that Air India was not offering any alternative, we had to cancel the ticket with Air India.

                  They deducted a Penalty of AED 1000. This is not appropriate as the flight was cancelled and we should have been given a full refund.

                  Please get Air India to refund us the penalty deducted.

                    I booked flight tickets on 26 Jan 2022 from Air India website for a round trip from Frankfurt to Delhi, flight name AI 120 and AI 121 for my brother Sami Shahzad. I filled all the details and made the payment through credit card (Transaction Reference number: MT220280075000010082650), payment got successful but instead of generating the tickets I was redirected to the home page. I did not get any booking details on my phone or email either but my money was deducted.
                    I called the support, they told me I will receive my tickets in mail in 2 hrs and the gave me the PNR(HWZ88) but nothing was received. I called them again, now they told me the tickets have been cancelled and I will get a refund instead in 30 days. So I booked the tickets again and this time they were generated.
                    But even after 30 days the refund didn't come. I called again and they said to wait for another 10 days, I waited but nothing. I contacted on email, they said the team will contact me, no one contacted. I called again and again and same, the team will contact but nothing. It's been a year now and I haven't received the refund neither any call from Air India team to resolve my issue.

                    I want my refund, I paid around 50, 000 for those tickets.

                        I had an Air India Flight from London - Delhi (AI162) connecting flight Delhi - Vadodara (AI823) on 11TH DEC 2022 with Master Dhairya Pathak (British Visa holder) . Our both boarding passes (London - Delhi - Vadodara) was issued by Air India staff in London I asked then to provide me through check-in but she refused and told me that Airline will take care, layover was 1.30 HRS . but due to short layover all immigration security & boarding process i reached 5 minutes late at boarding gate and Airline refused to open it. And also they refuse to give me same day next flight and other assistance & compensation too. So I have to book my ticket from another airlines with extra baggage cost.

                          Hello Team,
                          I travelled on Air India on 11th December 2022 by connecting flight via Delhi. My itinerary mentioned 25kg check-in and 7kg carry-on. I carried only 1 check-in luggage and 1 laptop luggage but no carry-on. My check-in baggage limit was exceeded by 5 kgs and your staff asked me to pay extra Rs.6300. The cost of the original ticket was Rs 7300 and the cost of excess baggage was Rs 6300. I told them that I do not have that much money and due to service maintenance both my DBS bank and Kotak bank accounts are not working so I cannot withdraw any money. I requested them to waive off the fee as I don't have carry-on baggage and don't have enough money. I told him that my father is in the hospital and I have to go to Varanasi anyhow. Your staff who was sitting at the counter where the excess baggage fee was collected was so rude and unprofessional. He categorically refused to help me and also told me not to travel as I don't have money to pay for my baggage charges. Today I am writing this because my father is back home and I am a bit mentally stable now. This was my first experience with Air India and it was like a nightmare for me. Same was the case in 2019 when I travelled with Indigo but their staff was very nice and allowed me to travel without any extra cost as they said I have only 1 check-in luggage. I understand there are some policies and we are bound to follow them. I am also working with airline company and I know about all these situations but if such scenarios come then we need to help our customers first. Another of your staff helps me. I sent money to him through phonepe with the help of one of my friend and then he withdraw money and gave it to me then I paid after this insult and rudeness by your staff he let me go for further process. I want my 6300 rs back or I will file a complaint against Air India and their employees.

                          It's been a week but Air India is not at all bothered to resolve this issue. I will log a police Complaint against Air India and their Kolkata staff for harrasment and also for compensation for all the trouble which I had been through because of their staff rude and unprofessional behaviour. If I will not get any response from Air India within next 2 days then i will do the same.

                              Hello I booked Air India flight online from official site and now there is a mistake in my middle name of one letter. And when I contacted to Air India regarding this problem then they told me we are not able to help you and you have to contact airport authority and when I contacted to airport authority they forwarded my call and after that someone answered my call and he told me again to contact airport authority. But no one is solved my problem.

                                I called to inquire about my meal preferences as me and my wife have dietary restrictions.
                                Also I asked them about the process to upgrade my ticket to business class.
                                The staff was very rude, impolite, and used foul language stating the words "Pagal", "Shut up" . Not only that, they made fun of our last name and said it's funny and looks like Islamic name, who are they to comment on my last name and say anything they feel?

                                He was rude and also stated that we won't upgrade for folks like you who are Indian citizens, work in the USA and are not living in india.
                                Is this how the airline has become after Tata acquired it? Are they trained to harass customers like this?

                                My wife and I both are Indian citizens and work at very well reputed companies Apple and Google and we have never faced such harassment from any airlines in our life. And it's disappointing that Air India which is the official airline of our country India is doing this, and also even after the recent acquisition by Tata we expected better customer service.

                                I would like compensation for this harassment and now I demand a FREE Upgrade for me and my wife, this is not tolerated at all and I do not accept this impolite and unprofessional behaviour.

                                  I am writing to complain about the unacceptable treatment I have received from Air India. My flight with the airline was cancelled more than three years ago, and despite numerous attempts to seek a refund or compensation, I have received no resolution.
                                  I understand that unforeseen circumstances can sometimes lead to flight cancellations, but the lack of communication and customer service I have received from Air India is completely unacceptable. I have made multiple attempts to contact the airline through email and phone, but my inquiries have consistently gone unanswered.
                                  I am extremely disappointed and frustrated by the way in which Air India has handled my situation. It is unacceptable for a company to hold onto a customer's money for such a long period of time without providing any sort of resolution. I demand immediate action to be taken to resolve this issue and provide me with the refund or compensation that I am owed.
                                  If I don't hear from you any soon I'll contact the Indian authorities directly. I trust that the Indian Government will take appropriate action to ensure that customers like myself and my wife are treated with the respect and consideration that we deserve.
