Hi. We were travelling from Bangalore to Jodhpur with one stop at Bombay. Since they delayed our flight from Bangalore, we couldn’t reach our destination. And for accommodation they were making us stay at a 3 star hotel. Which looks shady. And we are travelling with family, there are old people and children. How are we supposed to stay? Where we had to cancel our car for a day or one day hotel stay etc. it’s been 2 hours and still air India staff hasn’t helped us out.
I, on behalf of my family request Air india to give us a good hotel stay and do justice. Our one entire day has gone for waste. And it’s causing so much trouble. There’s no fault of ours here. Kindly do the needful

    I booked 2 tickets to travel to Bubaneshwar from Mumbai on Air India Flight AI 669 through yatra.com. s I have been informed the flight is non-operational I cancelled the ticket on 23rd February 2023. In this regard I have sent a mail . But I was advised to contact the agent i.e. Yatra.com. Accordingly I took up the matter with Yatra.com. even after a period of one month I am yet to receive my refund. The enquiries with yatra.com revealed that Air India is showing my ticket as suspended and only if it is opened they shall be able to process my refund. It is therefore, requested that necessary action may be taken to initiate my refund at the earliest.My ticket details are as under.

      I booked return tickets for my parent back in November. These were refundable tickets from BLR-SFO. My parents made the flight to SFO (with pathetic customer service while flying moreover) but unfortunately I had to cancel their tickets back, because of emergency in the family - namely, death of my grandfather. I cancelled these refundable tickets back in the first week of December hoping to get the refund, especially during these unexpected and difficult circumstances.
      It is now the last week of March and still no word about the refund! My credit card travel agent has received no communication in over 3 months.
      This is BEYOND any reason and is as pathetic as it can get.

      WHEN CAN I EXPECT A REFND ON MY TICKETS CANCELLED 3 MONTHS BACK, AIR INDIA??

        My daughter SIMRIT KAPILA who is a Citizen booked ticket to travel to Dubai on 22/3/23 and return 26/3 through GoIBo . Though the Agent supplied correct particulars to AIR INDIA of which Screenshot Proof is available, Air India entered WRONG PARTICUALRS ON TCKET.
        Your Customercare Executive Devansh was dismissive when issue was discussed by him and retorted with a dismissive retort "NNOT OUR PROBLEM"
        It is CERATINLT AIR INDIA PROBLEM as we have proof that GOIBO provided correct particulars to AIR INDIA.
        Should any losses accrue then AIR INDIA wold beliable for Damages

          I traveled on an AI flight on 02 march from London to Mumbai, but I was so disappointed that the whole multimedia was not working in the row, my toddler was so excited that he will go on the plane and can watch some cartoons. eventually, he went to sleep. whenever I was asking the flight attendants they told me that I have to wait and they will reset the system, a common answer anyone asked them, but in reality, they knew that the row was not available with any multimedia system. It is a shame to receive an appalling service and not be able to use the system when I am on a 9 hours long distance flight and I and my wife cannot sleep in journeys
          I am flying back soon I hope that I will get a BETTER SERVICE

            I booked the ticket for Guwahati-Delhi-Guwahati on 4th Dec, 2022 (
            [protected].) through website of AirIndia.
            The ticket was canceled within 24 hours through customer care number after confirming the refund of full amount,
            and travel date was after one week.
            The ticket was cancelled with in 24 hours and the travel date was after seven days. AS per DGGC rules, full amount should be refunded.

            I have been refunded partial refund of 7829.

            Kindly get me the full reund of 15129/-

              I didn't receive any refund for the flight I cancelled of Air India, PNR H4QGQ worth 27564 INR (booked on 28 jul 21 and cancelled on 01 Aug 21). I was eligible for full refund. There's no way you can reach their customer care or generate a complaint for refund. I sent email on call.[protected]@airindia.in but now it shows inactive ID. I am not sure what else to do so writing it to you as a last try hoping I would get my refund.

                Full refund due to medical reasons

                I had booked air tickets with Air India for 14th march from Bengaluru to Delhi and I am a senior citizen requested through call and email to Air India for cancellation and full refund due to medical reasons and have provided them Medical Certificate also for the same, I have to undergo a surgery and doctor has advised me not to travel for this week.                 I am travelling from SFO to BLR (flight no. 176) with my family on March 17, 2023. I booked my tickets in November and selected the seats (33 a, b, c) in accordance with air india's instructions. Today, on March 10th, i randomly checked my ticket and saw that my seats were reassigned from 33 a, b, c (window seats) to 33 d, e, f (middle seats). I never consented for the reassignment. Air India didn't even send an email informing me of the reassignment. I booked window seats for a reason. I paid full price for my tickets, what gives air india the authority to reassign my seats without my consent? I want my originally allocated seats. I called their call center and they were unable to help me with this.

                  Dear Sir/Madam,

                  My family were on a flight from Surat to JFK on February 18/19, 2023.

                  We received an email and text just before leaving Surat that our flight from Delhi to JFK had been delayed for over 15 and half hours. We understand that this type of delay is rare but can happen.

                  Due to this delay we were to be provided with accommodation at a hotel. We were taken to a hotel by the name of Hotel Westend Inn (NH-8, Adjoining Shiv Murti, Rangpuri, Mahipalpur, New Delhi-110037). We were told by Delhi Air India ground staff that food and water would be provided at the hotel at no charge, but when we reached the hotel, the front desk said they would not, and all food would be chargeable. We were then allocated two rooms, 115 & 119 respectively. When we went to the hotel rooms and opened the door the rooms were not in acceptable conditions. There was food and stains on the wall and headboard. The rooms smelled moldy. The bed sheets and pillowcases had stains on them as well. We also saw a mouse running in the room 115 during the night. The rooms were very cold and there was no heat. I spoke with the front desk clerk and explained the situation and asked to speak with an Air India representative. He was rude and that he did not have any Air India representative that we could speak to and there was nothing he could do.
                  I went back to the room and tried to reach out to Air India customer service about our concerns via phone as no contact information was provided by Air India ground staff at the airport. I tried but, they could not help us to resolve the situation as they said this was the responsibility of Delhi Air India ground staff.

                  We were left with no other options and had no choice but to stay.

                  I did speak to the General manager in the morning via phone, but he also said there was nothing he could do.

                  This hotel was not acceptable by any standards and should not even be used by Air India. It shows a poor reflection on Air India and its lack of respect for its customers. I have also provided pictures of the rooms and hotel conditions and I hope someone from Air India would go to the hotel and see for themselves the conditions.

                  I am also very disappointed with the lack of response. Someone from Delhi Air India should have been available to address our concerns and we should have been shifted to a better hotel. We should not have been put in this situation in the first place. Many of the passengers also had our same complaints.
                  As an Indian family living in the USA we still want our country’s main airline to be successful and we want people to have wonderful experiences. This was the worse conditions my family have ever experienced flying with Air India.

                  We would like to receive a full refund of our four airline tickets for this leg of the trip and compensation for the pain, suffering and inconvenience we endured due to the lack of care and support for your customers.

                  I hope to hear back as soon as possible from someone not like the response we received at Delhi.

                    On 2nd march 2023, I had very bad experience travelling through the air India. I reached at airport at 9 pm, i was at boarding counter around 9:20 pm, then they done all weighting n tagging the bags. As we have two extra bags for which they said we have to pay on the another counter overthere. My husband went to baggage payment counter, but they took long hours to complete all the process, due to which we got too late to catch our flight. Person on the boarding counter putting soo much pressure on me, due to which i got worried.As my husband return after payment, boarding persons told as to run along with them. As i ran to catch my flight i got panic attack, higher my blood pressure, in whole flight from Delhi to Tokyo i got severe unstoppable cough, fever, high blood pressure, my health got upset. here my doctor also advise me bed rest due which my work also suffer. As i feel issues related to my health safety so i want you to refund my baggage payment due to which we got late and i have face soo many health issues. as you are one of top company and don't want to loose the customer trust

                      It is so disgraceful on the part of the baggage handlers, and the supervisors napping on duty, that the bag with a PRIORITY TAG has brutally got damaged, without hurting any grounds person at the destination station.

                      Is this what the TATAS want to prove to the ordinary Indian Citizen on offering such deteriorated services to a Business Class passenger

                        Refund of ticket

                        I had purchased CCU-DEL-SFO ticket during COVID-19 pandemic time which got cancelled due to travel policy. At that time airline travel policy was to refund the amount to customer if customer cannot fly due to travel restrictions. There were two passengers, after uncountable follow up able to receive refund for only for one passenger and air India not giving any clear justification why the remaining amount is not refund?

                        • Total No of Passengers = 4.
                        We are family of 4, me, my wife and 2 sons. We live in TEXAS, USA. We are US Citizen( of Indian Origin).
                        After ending our vacation India, we were on our way to USA via Doha, QATAR.
                        We had booked a Hotel in Doha via Booking.com to explore the city of Doha, before starting our Journey from Doha to Dallas, TX via a Transit in Helsinki, Finland.
                        Upon checking-in at Delhi IGI Airport on 01/07/23 at Delhi Airport check-in counter, we are told that we cannot board the flight because our Hotels were not booked via Discoverqatar.qa Portal.

                        We were unaware of this requirement while booking Hotel in Doha.We asked them to check this requirement for US Citizens, on which they mentioned that it is for all countries.

                        We called discoverqatar.qa folks at discoverqatar.qa at +[protected].
                        They mentioned that we do not need to book Hotels via www.discoverqatar.qa since we are US Citizens.This requirement is valid for citizen of Indian, Pakistani, Iranian, Ukrainian and Thai Nationalities.
                        We also checked the following websites which are owned by Govt. of Qatar.

                        None of these Websites mentions about this Hotel Booking requirement https://www.discoverqatar.qa/mandatory-hotels-for-visa-on-arrival
                        https://portal.moi.gov.qa/qatarvisas/faq.html
                        https://visitqatar.com/intl-en/practical-info/visas.

                        We also called discoverqatar.qa folks at discoverqatar.qa at +[protected].

                        We pleaded with the Air India to check on this requirement and requested them to allow us to board the flight.
                        No one listened to us and eventually we were denied boarding.

                        We missed our flights which impacted our onward journey, not to mention about amount of hardship/inconvenience and pain we as as family went through.

                        Note: Once we were denied boarding, I have chatted with Qatar Airways, https://visitqatar.com ( from Minstry of Qatar) and sent an email to discoverqatar.qa. All of them confirmed that we do not need to book a Hotel via DiscoverQatar.com.

                        I want Air India to provide an explanation why this harassment was done to us, for which my family had to face unimaginable hardship.
                        I want Air India to provide a full refund and compensation .

                          I have travelled from UK to India on 15th December 2022, my luggage wasn't given to me time of arrival saying that is left in UK and will be given later in 24 hours, I had to wait for 3-4 days if i remember that correctly to get it, and when i receive it my bad was teared from side and i have asked for it they said it’s by the time of moving that might have happened and when we checked it we find out missing stuff and lots broken stuff in bag, I write an email to them they share one reference number and ask for my boarding pass details. which is shared to them on same time till now it’s been more than 2 months now I haven't heard anything from them? also by the time of arrival a lady staff who took my details for my bad and missing stuff she tried to take pictures of my passport in her personal phone somehow i called senior and made her stop doing it as this isn't the way to capture my documents in her personal phone and she said they are recording for all other people like this which i wasn't happy with as well. This is happening at India AMD airport i have seen that by my self-capturing them in their personal phone. I am still waiting to hear from them for my luggage issues.

                                I was travelling on Air India flight AI 186 from Vancouver to Delhi on February 3, 2023 and the food quality and standard was far below. i have raised a complaint to Air India.

                                i agree. travelled in business class from toronto to chennai and the food was really bad. standards do they even know what that means ?. horrible seats and the mulit media, gosh don't even ask.

                                My strong advice to everyone. please AVOID AIRINDIA in all means. Cheap way to cheap. Nobody will even take or register your complaint. They are well known for that. AIR INDIA, SHAME ON YOU. Flight stinks as well.

                                it is time for them to shut down AIRINDIA for good. They take people money and they treat you like scum bags.

                                  Dear sir,
                                  Yesterday I booked an INTL flight from xxxx to XXXXX through EaseMyTrip of AIR INDIA. I could not find the Insurance column on their page, so I called them upon their customer care no ie[protected] at 19.01 PM, which was not attended by anyone and lasted 4 min 0 sec. Later I got a message to rate their customer service agent on my phone to which I gave a very frank opinion .Later I got a message through Whatsapp to address the issue but they didn't have any option for my query and kept asking same questions options. Since I had already spent several hours trying to get the booking done I decided to go ahead with the booking because they are in habit of increasing the rates if anyone shows more interest in a particular flight.
                                  Later i sent a mail to which they just washed their hands off.
                                  Earlier also I had similar problem with them which I raised with them without relief.
                                  Further, they recorded the wrong Expiry date of my Passport and incorrect mobile number which I am trying to change with Air India.

                                  Sir, now i am writing to AIR INDIA/ DGCA to cancel their licence

                                  Kindly advise the company to take care of their customers and improve their customer services and experiences.
