I traveled to India in January 4th 23 with air India. Air india lost mu duitcase.
I let them know stright away. My case number is: 19388871.
I have requested a refund of all my lost personal belongings and clothes.
I also neded a refund in the clothes that I had to buy as I had nothing to wear.
I have been trying to contact air India by email as the person at the end of the phone to air India request me to use email.
You have all my details, Please resolve my claim urgently.
DOT regulations say that airlines are required to compensate passengers if their bags are lost, 04/1/23,
You owe me Two and a half thousand pounds.

      On May 27, 2023, I was taking a flight from Kathmandu, Nepal, to Frankfurt, Germany. I missed my trip from Delhi, India to Frankfurt which was due to depart at 13:35 because the flight from kathmadu got delayed more than 2 hours. Given my leg injury and the delay in Kathmandu, I asked for a wheelchair to be set up to enable me to get to the transit gate, but I never got one when I reached Delhi. Upon arriving at the transfer desk in Delhi, an Air India employee held us (and our fellow passengers) for two and a half hours just to let us know that we had missed the flight and would be provided with accommodations and a flight within the next 24 hours as compensation. (for context, our flight landed at 13:28 in Delhi, and the flight to frankfurt was schduled at 13:35. The Staff couldn't hold the plane for an hour and asked us passanger to wait for 24 hours)

      When I explained that I can't wait another 24 hours, the staff angrily replied there was nothing they could do and ignored all the concerns thereafter. They eventually managed to arrange a Lufthansa flight for May 28 at 2:00 am after having several difficult conversations. At 19:30, six hours after landing in Delhi, I finally got to leave the transit desk, get through security, and eat something. They did not provide a hotel room to rest, a lounge, or even an upgrade. After 14 hours of landing, I was able to board a plane to Frankfurt. By the time I boarded the plane my leg was so swollen that I had to take 2 painkillers to get over with the flight.

      Because of all this, I was affected deeply both physically and mentally. I missed my connecting travel arrangement to Goettingen ( where I live ) and had to repurchase a train ticket costing me 62 euro( picture sttached.

      This was by far the worse experience. The Air India employees in Delhi remained without any consideration or care.

      I want a refund of the train ticket and compenstation on losing 14 hours beacuse of negligence from Air India

        I am writing to express my deep disappointment and frustration regarding the delay I experienced during my recent flight from Riyadh to Chennai, with a layover at Bombay, India. In addition to the delay, I want to highlight the distressing experience my 4-year-old child and ailing, aging mother-in-law had to endure due to the lack of assistance and amenities provided during the extended wait.

        Upon reaching Bombay, we were informed of a significant delay for the connecting flight to Chennai, Flight No. AI573. As a result, my child and mother-in-law had to suffer through the extended waiting period without any proper provisions or support. Specifically, my mother-in-law,

        I am writing to provide further justification for my request for a refund for six passengers, including myself, due to the significant delay we experienced during our recent flight from Riyadh to Chennai, with a layover at Bombay, India.

        Firstly, the delay of our connecting flight from Bombay to Chennai (Flight No. AI573) exceeded three hours, which falls within the guidelines set by the Indian government for passenger compensation. As per the Air Passenger Charter issued by the Ministry of Civil Aviation in India, passengers are entitled to a full refund of the fare paid for a flight delay exceeding three hours.

        Secondly, this delay not only disrupted our travel plans but also caused considerable inconvenience and financial loss. We had made arrangements and commitments in Chennai based on the original schedule provided by Air I. The delay resulted in missed appointments, wasted time, and additional expenses incurred to accommodate the changes in our plans.

        Moreover, I would like to highlight that among the six passengers affected, one was my 4-year-old child and another was my ailing aging mother-in-law. The situation was particularly challenging for them, as the delay and the lack of assistance provided at the airport subjected them to unnecessary physical and emotional strain. The discomfort experienced by my family members, especially my child and mother-in-law, was distressing and unacceptable.

        Considering the circumstances described above, I firmly believe that a refund of the full fare paid for all six passengers is a fair and justifiable request. It is essential to recognize the impact this delay had on our travel experience, well-being, and the financial implications we faced as a result.

        I kindly urge you to give due consideration to our request and process the refund as soon as possible. Your prompt action will demonstrate Air I's commitment to customer satisfaction and reinforce the airline's reputation for providing reliable and efficient service.

        I have attached scanned copies of the boarding passes, travel documents, and relevant receipts for your reference. Specifically, my mother-in-law, who required assistance due to her age and health condition, was not even offered snacks or refreshments at the location where she was seated. She was instead instructed to move to a location more than one kilometer away to access the refreshments that were provided as a result of the delay.

          This treatment was not only inconvenient but also highly insensitive, considering the circumstances. It is disheartening that Air I failed to recognize the needs of passengers, especially those with special requirements, and provide them with adequate support and comfort during this challenging situation.

          In light of the inconvenience caused by the delay, I must emphasize that the provision of refreshments alone is not an acceptable compensation. As per the policy of the Indian government, passengers experiencing a delay of more than 3 hours are entitled to a full refund of their fare. Therefore, I kindly request that Air I fulfills its obligation to compensate me for the delay by providing a full refund of the ticket fare for the affected flight, Flight No. AI456 from Bombay to Chennai.

          I understand that unforeseen circumstances can lead to flight delays, but it is the responsibility of the airline to prioritize the well-being and comfort of its passengers, especially when they include vulnerable individuals such as children and elderly passengers. I sincerely hope that Air I takes this matter seriously and takes immediate steps to rectify the situation by offering a full refund and providing an assurance that such instances will not recur in the future.

          I trust that you will give this matter the attention it deserves and respond promptly. I have attached scanned copies of relevant documents, including boarding passes, to support my claim.             I received an email about a reimbursement on 18th April which I am attaching below. Although I have sent my account details I am still waiting for the money to be paid in to my account. The original email was:
            Dear Mr. Mohanty,

            Greetings from Air India!

            We acknowledged the receipt of your e-mail.

            We would like to inform you that, as per the update received from the concern team, It has been decided to reimburse the cost of Vistara Flight Ticket of Rs.7570 and Rs. 10, 000 towards compensation.

            Further please be informed that please forward Indian bank account number and blank cheque scanned copy bearing your name for electronic transfer of fund to this account.

            Thanking you and assuring you of our best cooperation at all times.

              No show rules in customer care

              Hi,
              I have booked a ticket for 3 persons in December 2022 from Copenhagen to Kolkata via Delhi. One of the passengers had to go to India on an emergency medical ground and is still in India. As per the ticket we were supposed to travel on 9th June and back on 30th July. I called Air India customer care when Air India resumed flight again between Copenhagen and India and I was told that I have to pay a no-show charge in Copenhagen...

              Hi, Flight Air India (AI158) and my PNR number is MPBNKD, which is supposed to fly at 8:55 PM on 26th may is still not taken off and we do not receive any updates, we have been sent to hotel with just breakfast coupons and left us in middle of nowhere,
              I am 5th month pregnant travelling with my 7-year-old daughter battling my own health issue .
              we have been given hotel which is of cabin where people can die out of suffocation, they have not even given our baggage where are my health pills which I am supposed to take daily. this is absolutely ridiculous, and this is absoluetly not ok to trat us this way, how are you thinking we can manage 3 meals day and clothes to put on ? what is your business stragey is it to kill people???
              I call customer care and they say sorry we cannot help you ??? is this the way you operate? flight has technical issue and it cannot be rectified so what is the plan next ? who is going to upadte us?

                Respected Sir/madam,

                I wonder how good an airline company like Air India can be when my wife was denied boarding pass in spite of reaching their check-in counter before 1 hour. The staff were uncooperative and kept my wife moving from one counter to another.

                She was not allowed to board the plane in spite of having a valid ticket and reaching the airport in time.

                Staff Neetu Singh kept her moving from one counter to another for around 20 mins. There is mismanagement with Air India staff and who is going to be responsible for this.

                My wife again had to book the tickets for the 5 PM flight.

                Why is Air India harassing their passengers?

                Why is your staff not trained to handle their customers and misguide them?

                Why has Air India Cheated their Customer?

                This is how Air India is cheating their customers by double booking them.
                I had asked for your manager to speak to however their manager was never available. 2 of your staff were too rude and very unpleasant, Harpreet Singhal and Mukut Kumar. They never helped and ignored me on my issue.
                I need a resolution to this problem immediately else I will have to escalate further.
                Please call me and refund my entire money immediately Rs 13301/-
                Total expenses of 2 Flights. 1st ticket = Rs 4721 + Rs 8580/- Total Rs 13301/-

                  Hi,

                  I had my my connecting flight AI 112 from London to Delhi on 22nd of May. Unfortunately AirIndia left behind my Bag in London and upon reaching at Delhi, they informed me that my bag was left at London Heathrow Airport. So in that case they registered a complaint "Property Irregularity report" and asked the details like where they going to deliver my bag and the nearest Airport. As the nearest Airport to my home is 400 KM far, they mentioned me like they will courier it to my native. It's been 4 days now, there is no update on my Bag and whenever asking about this, they are telling like it has been forwarded to Bhubaneswar via Vistara Airline. While calling to Vistara they are telling they can not send it to my native as I haven't travel with Vistara. My bag is almost lost and no one taking responsibility. I have paid full amount to purchase ticket and that is their fault by not sending my bag with same flight I travelled. Now they are harassing me by asking to call this help desk and that help desk. My bag is very important to me and without that its very difficult spending days here in India. They are also not providing proper escalation process. Please help me to solve my issue.

                    - During this journey, we were disappointed with the limited meal options. We received a small pack of lunch and a subsequent small portion of cold pasta with mushroom and orange juice, water. Despite informing Ms. Nisha about our mushroom allergy, her response was rude, suggesting we remove the mushrooms ourselves. Even She was very rude when we asked for a glass of water only. Regrettably, the airline provided no additional meal services and denied basic requests for water, cold drinks, and alcoholic beverages.
                    - I encountered an unprofessional situation with cabin crew member Ms. Nisha, leaving me concerned about such crew members on a 16-hour long-haul flight.
                    - Furthermore, the inoperative entertainment system left passengers without any entertainment for the entire flight. Broken seats, including our own, hindered our comfort and ability to rest, while even the food tray couldn't open properly.
                    I kindly request Air India's acknowledgment of the inconveniences and shortcomings during my SFO to DEL flight. Appropriate compensation is sought for the subpar service, encompassing the rude behavior of a cabin crew member, limited meal options, malfunctioning entertainment system, broken seats, and lack of basic amenities. These issues significantly impacted the quality of my journey.

                      I am Jeeru Nishanth Reddy (PNR: JO74M6). I travelled in Airindia flight AI 0142 from PARIS-DELHI on 10/05/2023 and returned in flight AI 0143 from DELHI-PARIS on 18/05/2023. In both these flights, the inflight entertainment system was completely broken. Not just mine, but for a lot of other passengers as well. I was travelling alone and each way journey was around 8-9 hours with nothing to watch/listen. This is completely unacceptable. I will be travelling with my kids again on 30/06/2023, and I cannot imagine how we will have a 7 and a 9 year old kids without inflight entertainment. could any of you take a look at this issue please. We pay outrageous price for the tickets, and this is the service which is provided. I expected the service to be better since TATA's took over, but it has totally disappointed me with feeling of no future for this airlines.

                          This is regarding the flight that I had to fly from Dallas to Hyderabad on the 14th of May 2023, I was assigned the flight from Dallas – Houston-Munich-Delhi-Hyderabad (UA 1522)(UA 102) (LH762)(AI560). But that flight got cancelled, and I was assigned another flight from Dallas to Hyderabad for th e 15th of May 2023, and it was Dallas-Newark-Delhi-Hyderabad(UA569)(UA82)(AI560). I had to face so much nonsense here at the Delhi airport because my flight was supposedly not booked, and I had to pay 35, 000Rs (421.68 USD) for my flight from Delhi to Hyderabad, not only was my flight cancelled and delayed, but I had to pay extra for both the flight and the luggage while I already paid for the extra baggage through the united airlines app. When I contacted the united airlines customer care, they told me the Air India people had complete control over my ticket, when I contacted them here they told me that united airlines has to do something about it. It was so hectic for me to book a flight then and there, and I still had to do it without my mistake. I am asking a refund for my Delhi- Hyderabad ticket. This is so unprofessional and I had to face so much trouble running around counters and wanting an explanation from either of the airlines. With this kind of experience, I would not want to choose these airlines, neither will I recommend anybody to choose these airlines. And I believe I deserve an explanation or a compensation for what I had to go through for something which I was solely not responsible for.

                            Today evening when I went to the airport to board my flight AIR INDIA refused me to board the flight stating that the name of my passport is mentioned Sandeep Kaur and on the ticket it says Sandeep Kaur Gill and so that is a miss match and AIR INDIA can’t make any changes on the name and will have to ask the service provider to amend the changes for correction of name.

                            I got the massage from the management supervisor on the floor that India immigration have changed their rules and if there is a mismatch in the name Indian immigration will depot me. Just to clarify I travelled with the same name ticket from India on the 21st of April and there was no issue as such.

                            MY QUESTION IS IF I AM AN INDIAN CITIZEN, RESIDING IN INDIA, TRAVELLING ON A TOURIST VISA TO VISIT MY HUSBAND WHO WORKS IN DUBAI WHERE WILL THE INDIAN IMMIGRATION DEPARTMENT DEPORT ME ? Had that this would have been the case me travelling from Mumbai to Dubai I could have understood that Dubai immigration could have done that.

                            It’s a big fraudulent activity that AIRINDIA is trying to justify. So rude and unprofessional and when told the supervisor that this could be a no show he simply said that it’s your problem and not ours. What should I do now as my Visa validity will get over, I don’t have the funds to book a ticket back.

                            If no action is taken all charges and fine should be taken care by AIR INDIA.

                              Good evening this is a passenger traveling from tirchurapalli to Dubai on Wednesday May 17, 2023 . we have experienced horrible hospitality from Air India our flight was delayed from 2pm to 12am we were shifted to a hotel nearby the airport called Sri Thillagavathy hotel, Trichy., and once we reached there we had a horrible experience as we were asked to share a non - AC room with another passenger this totally destroys the image, trust and quality of your services in fact we had to fight with the staff and unprofessional receptionist to get a normal room . Horrible accommodation from Air India totally destroyed the quality of the brand . We kindly request to check the quality of your services and hope that another passenger does not face the same circumstances . Take immediate action against Thillavagathy Hotel and inform their management about the worst reception crew they have. We are sure that Air India pays for AC rooms for the passengers, oer family, whereas the hotel pushes upto 3 families into 1 non- AC room, who is getting benefitted here in terms of cost?

                                Dear Sir/ Madam
                                We were travelling from Delhi to Sydney on 6th December in flight AAI-302. Due to some technical issue with the plane, we experienced unacceptable delays. We were made to wait for 3-4 hours on the flight with very minimal information and nothing but water before being
                                asked to deboard the plane. At this point we were tired & hungry but were told that we would be provided no refreshments or snacks while we are waiting for almost 4 hours on the still
                                plane. After which we needed to go though security all over again before finally being boarded on the correct plane & leaving for out destination. This created significant logistical issues at our destination especially for transport.

                                How does Air India plan to compensate us for the major inconvenience we experience? We

                                  Hi,

                                  I had booked a flight on Air India on 10th June 2022 and raised a cancellation request on 28th June 2022. Air India confirmed refund request immediately.

                                  Since then, I have called almost every alternative week, sent e-mails and chased every possible way possible. It has almost been a year and still havent received my refund. Refund amount is approx. INR 1, 50, 000.

                                  The call centre says that they can only raise an internal request, however, do not have any sight on the status. Also, they do not provide any escalation channels and neither assist in getting this sorted.

                                  For a year my refund is not received and the amount is also quite big. With TATA group taking over I expected things to get better, but looks like it has become worse than before.

                                    I haven't received from refund for my tickes that were cancelled back in August 2020. It's been more than 3 years now.

                                      I had booked two tickets for international travel for my parents however my father died on 6th of May 2023 and hence my mother also can't fly.I had already asked for cancelation of both of the tickets however till now I didnt get any response from Air India. I talked to Air India customer care too and they told in this case we needed to furnish the death certificate and the ID etc of the person.I attached all docs, still no cancelation and no refund.What should I do?Date of travel is 17th May 2023.
