Dear Sir/Madam,
my name is Mathumathi Anbalagan. I'm currently living in Stuttgart, Germany.

I booked a flight ticket for my parents from Chennai - Stuttgart on 14, April '18.
Chennai-Dubai (Air India), Dubai-Istanbul (Pegasus), Istanbul-Stuttgart (Pegasus).

At Chennai International Airport when my parents where at the Air India check-in counter, the Air India officials where so rude to my parents and didnt allow them to get boarding pass. The reason was at Dubai airport my parents cant change flight from Terminal 1 to terminal 2. Then I booked another flight for my parents from Dubai- Stuttgart (Dubai terminal 1) at the last moment.

The following are my complaints:
1. Why did the Air India officials did not allow my parents to board even though there is no transit visa required at Dubai airport. There is Marhaba services which offers service for transfer between Terminal 1 to Terminal 2.(https://www.marhabaservices.com/)

2. I called Air India customer care, they asked me to call Air India office at Dubai airport. I called them but there was no proper reply!!!

3. There was a call from Air India, they asked to go to nearest Air India city booking office for this issue.

4. I got frustrated and called the Air India Frankfurt Customer Service. They said that Air India does not have any problem with booking. If the third party website
asks for transit visa you need a transit visa, if not you can book a ticket normally.

5. Again I called the Air India city booking office on April 12, she was so rude to me and said that you have already taken the flight. So just leave it!!!
How stupid reply from an Air India official. Is this the reply you give to a customer! Will Air India offer a ticket to me for free? I have paid the money and how can you people reply in such a way.

6. On April 16, in Chennai Airport when my parents were facing the problem, Air India people at the counter said that "It is not my work to solve your problem, I have many works!". They were so rude to my parents. If giving assistance to a customer problem is not their work. Then why did you appoint them for work at Airports?

Its only because of Air India compulsion I booked a ticket for my parents from Dubai-Stuttgart at the last moment. I want my flight ticket money back.
Air India is offering such a poor customer service. I want action to be taken for such a rude behavior of the officials at Chennai airport.

    Hello airindia cargo movers and packers,

    My name is anil kara. I booked air india cargo movers and packers on 29th april for household shifting from aya nagar, new delhi to asalpha, mumbai location.

    As discussed with bn joshi, delhi branch while packing, he promised to deliver the households on time. The delivery date was 5th may, 2018.

    After several followups, bn joshi received the call and said it will be reached by monday, 7th may, 2018.

    After reaching to vashi warehouse in 7th may. I asked him to deliver the households on 12th may after discussion with him. I reminded him several times to arrange a truck to deliver the things to my address on 12th may. Address was also mentioned on receipt.

    But on 12th may, he said he can't shift the households due to lack of truck and labors. There was no communication between joshi and mumbai branch. So, i and joshi both decided to shift the households on 19th may, saturday. During this week, i again reminded him to follow ups with mumbai branch names are bunty, mahaveer. But these guys are not receiving my calls.

    After several followups again, no one received my calls, not even answered on whatsapp.

    Bn joshi said on 19th may, that he will deliver on the same day, but still no delivery happened yet. It's been more than a week his promises are failing again and again.

    After post lunch on 19th may, i tried again calling to joshi, he said the truck will load my households by 2.30 pm and reach by 4 pm. But still no delivery or loading status after 3 pm. He said he will call at 2 pm and update the loading status, but no calls received and even i tried to call him, he switched off his mobile.

    After several follow-ups again, with mumbai people and joshi, both are blaming to each other. Joshi didn't mentioned about shifting timjngs to mumbai people. Now mumbai people bunty is saying that shifting can't be done on saturday as warehouse is closed and not even in sunday. This information should be convey to me as well in morning, but they didnt done that as well. Mumbai people says talk to joshi, but joshi was not picking my call, and not even answering my messages for 2-3 hrs as well.

    This pathetic service of air india cargo movers and packers. I asked munbai people to share the address, but they didnt share that too.

    Even i tried calling b njoshi on 20th may, he is not picking the call at all. He is not responding on my calls, messages etc.
    I think and worried that my luggage are stolen by these people. If i won't get my answers by 20th may, 2018. Then i will take action on them. Your staff are not promising on their words.

    It been more than 2 weeks, they are playing with my emotions and not delivering our households. There is no address and valid contact numbers of mumbai branch. The number which is mentioned is wrong number. I went to vashi location address as well as i got from just dial, but that address is also not valid. They moved from that location to somewhere else. There is no escalation matrix of your company and it makes too much difficult to track my own valuable households things which are not yet delivered at my door step even after several followups.

    On websites, on receipts everywhere bn joshi number is mentioned. As per my experience joshi is one of the most irresponsible person who is not at all taking the authority of providing satisfactory response.

    Every time i have only made a call to know the status and every time they have some or the other excuses for not delivery my luggage.

    I booked flight ticket from Bangalore to Delhi for 2 July 2018 two passengers.They charged from my debit card but I didn't get any Booking confirmation and I didn't receive ticket. All my contact and email id information are correct. They charged 8634Rs

      I had booked my tickets(self+wife+2 year old child) on AI 429, date of travel 04 June 2018, PNR-YBW8Z. The seats were booked together. However, on receileipt of e-ticket the seats are different and unacceptable. Please help and contact.
      Complaint was made to [protected]@airindia.in on 23 Apr 18, 02 May 18 and 17 May 18. But no body has contacted me for my complaint.

        I am Vijay Bal, 67 years old, retired Armed Forces Officer . I had booked Air India ticket for 7 Jun by AI 435 for self and wife ( Baljit Bal ) using mobile app and net banking . PNR is HKEJ4 . Amount of Rs 4901.80 has been debitted from my account via net banking. However. My air ticket reservation came as incomplete. I have called customer care [protected] umpteen number of times but they have not been able to resolve the issue . I have send email to [protected]@airindia.in from my mail [protected]@gmail.com but fail to get even an acknowledgement. Kindly confirm the booking, alternatively refund full amount, so that I can rebook . My PNR is HKEJ4 . Vijay and Baljit Bal .

          I left saudi arabia last night at 11:15 pm last night with air india flights. It was my first time in the flight after a long time, but i can without a doubt say it is by far the worse flights in the world. The lavatories got flooded.
          This is what happened:
          Since i was late to board the plane, the air steward asked me to place my back pack on the carpeted floor of the plane till the plane took off and the seatbelt sign was switched off (Which didnt happen for about 20 mins after take off, maybe even more). The entire plane reeked o[censored]rine so by the time i had a chance to get to my backpack, it was soaked with urine. It contained my power bank and my laptop.
          The backpack is going to trash now. I am throwing it away. Its in that kind of condition that it cant be salvaged.

          I really hope you do something about this and i am expecting some action to be taken immediately. This really has been the worst flight. Your airlines are the worst and im definetly never going to be your customer again.

            I have booked ticket for my parent in flight ix-684 on 9/05/2018 from madurai to singapore, and i have specifically booked the front row seat 1e &1f.

            During on boarding in madurai, the ground staff told wrong information to my parents that the seats where booked in different rows for both and they will give the adjacent seats to you and they changed seat to row 20.

            This is relay not acceptable as i have paid the special charges for the front row seats and your staffs given the wrong guidance to senior citizens and purposefully changed the seats. This is how you treat a senior citizens and provide the services to customers?

            Could you please take action on this complaint and also refund the seat charges which i paid for.

            Expecting a proper reply and action from you as early as possible.

              I have booked a seat in air india flight from gorakhpur to delhi vide e-ticket number:[protected] for journey date 07 may 18 and paid rs 7910 through credit card.
              Thereafter, i could not perform this journey on 07 may 18 and i had to change date of journey to 08 may 18. I was told to pay date change penalty of rs 2625. This money i was told to pay in cash at gorakhpur air india ticket counter and i was told that the receipt for this payment will be sent to you on your registered email address. However, the same is still awaited. The revised ticket shows original credit card payment amount and it does not reflect additional cash payment made by me. Please look into the matter and send updated ticket/receipt with details of cash payment.

                My family (Savithri kannan) and my son shashank kannan traveled on 6th may by ai 907 from chennai. Although i was holding tickets with paid seat numbers 4a and 4b counters denied same seats when boarding passing was issued. Despite my request seats were denied.

                Flight delayed over 4 hours and no proper response from ai desk.

                  Dear sir/madam,

                  I am srirupa mukherjee, a government employee and i was traveling under ltc 80 ticket on 22/10/2017 from leh airport to igi delhi airport with air india having following flight details:-

                  Seat no. 9d

                  I was served with a expired fruit drink (Brand name:-treat mango masti) along with the food (Refreshment) served on board by the cabin crew. Such a negligence is unexceptable as it could be detrimental to my life. Moreover, when the matter was conveyed to the cabin crew they even did not replace my drink with a fresh drink. And hence, such lethargic service and carefree attitude could even cost a human life.in spite of paying for such a costly ticket under ltc 80, the service provided by the airlines was worst as an expired food item is not less than consuming poison.

                  I also filed the same complaint (On the above issue) twice under the feedback option provided in the air india website as suggested by the call centre executive. Two complaints were filed with the following details:-

                  Complaint 1:- ref no wb-dixl[protected] on date 29/10/2017
                  Complaint 2:- ref no wb-dmaa[protected] on date 03/01/2018

                  But till date no action has been taken on this matter and neither the status of the complaints have been updated in the website.

                  Prayers:
                  1) i am demanding compensation for serving me with expired food on board by the cabin crew and risking my life.
                  2) take action as per the administrative procedure.
                  3) any other action as per the law.

                    This is with reference to seat selection for multiple pnrs in air india. Despite selection and payment, the air india website failed to show the modified reservation. Also, my account had been debited with a total sum of inr1725. Live chat with an air india agent directed me to "[protected]@airindia.in" mail id. Also, she mentioned the error in transaction processing and asked me to do the selection again after 12 hrs. I tried booking seat under seat preference for 2 pnrs as follows

                    I could not get the aforementioned seats. However, the said amount of inr1725/- was debited from my account as highlighted in yellow in attached account statement from which the amount was debited.

                    I did get the preferred seats for pnr jg5ze (Seats - 3e, 3f) but i had to do another transaction lsbi[protected]igadihkwj8 as highlighted in red in the attached bank statement.

                    Kindly arrange for the refund and pfa all boarding passes, bank account statement and airindia receipts for the transactions.

                      This is regarding air india flight ai 9614 (Pnr - ycqvz) from jammu to indira gandhi international airport.
                      I booked the flight for myself and my husband on priority, on 3rd may 2018, as i had an important meeting in delhi, scheduled at 3.00 pm on 4th may 2018.
                      The flight was supposed to depart at 12.40 pm from jammu and was to reach igit at 2.25 pm
                      We even received multiple automated calls and messages from air india, confirming the flight time.
                      We reached the airport well in time, as i could not afford to miss the meeting and proceeded for check-in.
                      Our bording pass confirms the boarding time as 12 pm. But while waiting at the airport for the boarding to start, the monitor started flashing a delay in the flight by a good 2 hours. The estimated time of departure changed to 1.45 pm from 12.40 pm (A delay of 1 hour 5 mins, excluding the block/ boarding time!).
                      On contacting the senior air india personnel at the jammu airport, we simply got the response that air india just have an agreement with spicejet and their flight leaves at the same time, so we can take our refund!
                      This response while there were other flights (Vistara, goair) flying off.
                      We even called the air india customer care, recieved no help!
                      The customer care asked us to claim the flight delay compensation from the airport only, supposedly this being only way. But, the air india personnel at the airport refused and said all kinds of compensation happens at safdurganj office, delhi. Is this air india's way of misguiding and harassing the passenger's?

                      Who is liable to bear the cost of lost business to me because of the delay?
                      What response is this : you can take your ticket price back if you don't want to fly.
                      Who will bear the booking charges?
                      Who will bear the hotel charges at jammu?
                      And, why would we even book the ticket a few hours before the flight if it wasn't urgent to fly back.
                      What sense does it make to cancel the booking and take the money back when it is urgent for me to fly back?
                      What if the passenger cancels? Does he/ she get the refund? Why this partiality then? Passenger's mistake or air india's mistake, only the passenger has to bear the brunt.
                      Frankly air india team, you need to understand that you are running an airlines here, and people's lives and businesses and everything is at stake and you are liable for it all.
                      You are providing a service at a cost and it simply crumbles down if this is the kind of response coming. It is all simply a waste!
                      Today, because of air india, i lost possibly one of the biggest deals of my career and the company's response to it all is dismal. Air india should simply end the business as it is doing more harm than good.
                      Air india has to compensate us for all the monetary and other losses that we had to bear today.

                        I Paresh Marathe had booked my return Air India ticket from Mumbai to aAbu Dhabi and back via Air India app on my mobile. Iwas supposed to board AI945 on 30/04/18 and return back by AI 946 on 07/05/18.My Booking Reference was JVQ5C and my ticket no was[protected].
                        I reported well in time to CST-T2fro my check in to Air India counter.But to my dismay i was told that I would not be able to board the said flight because my passport was expiring on /06/18,
                        since three months was the minimum stipulated time for travel.
                        Also I had a valid e visa which was issued by the UAE goverment on the same expiry of the passport.
                        I find it utterly astonishing that if the guidelines of three months( as told to me ) are given, then why the ticket was issued at the time of booking.Since at the time of booking the ticket passport expiry date is asked for.
                        Also when a valid visa is issued on the same expiry how was i denied check in?
                        I was forced to cancel my ticket subsequently due to the situation I faced.Also in the process of cancellation I was told that a part of amount amounting to 5000/- would be deducted.
                        I would like to request you to a full refund is given to me without any deduction as I was not allowed to travel against a vvalid visa. Attached herewith are ticket and my visa for your ready reference.
                        Kindly do the needful at the earliest.

                          I am pained to write about the service or lack of it at air india's main hub, mumbai airport. We are a family of 3 booked on ai 679 to mangalore on 02/05/2018 and reached mumbai airport at 8:40 am for the 10:25 am flight, well in advance. But to our shock, a harrowing ordeal started unraveling...

                          First of all, the self check in kiosk retrieves our booking but doesn't progress to the check-in screen. Instead it displays a message to contact the counter staff.
                          At the check-in, only two counters were manned for about 50 odd passengers waiting patiently for their turn. We too waited for 55 minutes and then, one of the staff started calling for mangalore flight passengers out of the queue.
                          At the check-in counter, the staff issues us 3 seats all in separate rows. When i enquired why the family of 3 was not issued seats at least two together, the answer i got was "the flight is full" and on top of that, he had the audacity to ask me why we didn't do web check in?
                          There is no reply for "why we had to be made to wait for almost an hour for check - in"? Or when i asked him why the self check in kiosk doesn't work, the reply was it is owned by airport authority and not air india.
                          The ultimate experience was at the gate where the staff is asking me why we are late and why we checked-in late?

                          It only takes a single experience like this to lose valuable customers. I am a frequent flyer and i never experienced such a lethargic and laid-back attitude with any other airline. No doubt air india is not doing good and is up for sale.

                          If the message sounds expression of emotions, Yes, emotions are direct reflections the experience. And "Once bitten twice shy" would be the future course we would follow.

                          For air travellers, there are many options..Air India better realize the fact before it is too late...

                            Flight no ai 671, pnr ai - h3kqb. My inlaws and my children (1yr and 8yr) were not allowed to board the flight 28th apr 18 morn even after reaching at 6:45am at airport. The flight timings was at 9:00am. We booked infant ticket by linking with my inlaws tickets at the reservation counter. While taking boarding pass, my inlaws showed both the ticket (Proof: staff has ticked), but he gave only 3 boarding pass of 1st ticket. Even after asking he said since no seat, no boarding pass. They cleared check-in process also. (Proof: stamp is present). Before entering the flight, they were asked to go back bcoz o[censored]navailability of boarding pass even after clearing check in. We contacted customer care, but couldn't get sufficient help. Duty managerv (Kohli) and staff (Sithesh) behaved so badly, i regret to say "very bad service" by air india. They were un educated, so i tried searching his no and contacted him. To me he was said that next day flight tickets will be given without any payment and the issue is sorted but he troubled my whole family along with my infant till 2:00pm at airport by sending here and there without proper guidance and asking to pay rs60000 (3+1 infant) for next day flight. Kindly help on urgent basis.

                              The head incharge at 8;45 am mr kuldeep never had the courtesy to attend & clarify my query inspite of wasting time of 25 mts at the window. Only the executive at window was doing the job of courier to him for my query but he had his limitation.
                              Such a casual approach from this head to attend customer issue what coaching he can provide to others & that is why have made mess of air india with their poor attitude.
                              Hardly afraid of any penalty, what message is he giving to his staff & customers.

                                Nobody was present in checkin and helpdesk 55 mins prior to the flight departure time. I ws notified that flight will departure at 9:35 pm i.e. 15 mins late to the schduled time. After that without any information flight took off at 9:18. Even earlier then schduled time. I was at checkin desk at 8:40 which 55 mins before departing time. There was a person there Harsh mehta who ran off that place without listening us.

                                  Kindly be inform you that i booked ticket ( Ticket Number-NN[protected] from Delhi To Dubai as attached with Air India Airlines which i supposed to not book, I think my luck was bad that why.Anyway I reached before 1 Hours & 30 Minutes in queue. Departure time was 8.30PM dated 20.04.2018 And i was in the queue, i crossed almost two lines & when i reached to near counter i told Air India crew member Ms. Jyoti ( Wearing Glass ) 50 Minutes is left will miss the flight. she told me counter already closed and that time when i showed her time 50 minutes was left & she give me ### excuse, telling just wait i will come back. She came back after 10 Minutes & again she left. When she came back time was left 30 Minutes. She told we announced why you did not hear & we can not allow for checking. And telling when you show me timing its was 20 Minutes. I am not the One, there is 3 passenger also who missed the flight because of this ### management who was taking checking. No one announced front off the counter. I through my iphone6 on floor its badly broken because she was lying & gave me ### excuses. I know flight was over booked that why they did not allowed us because there is no space in the flight for us. there is one passenger claiming for the same, flight was over booked. I am really upset because of this accident, i was whole night on the airport no one response me nicely they were putting on other shoulder. finally i need to CALL TO police, police came i reported against the crew who misbehave with me. I want to see the footage when i reached in queue, Its was G Block, Air India Counter No-10 " Time was 7.15 around.
                                  I talk with manager he did not respond me & other passenger. I booked another flight which is cost me 18000+Rupees & i lost my iphone because of ### crew. One crew is saying i announced from here if you will see the video from where she announced, no one can hear anything, and telling this is AirInida Airlines no one will care, you are wasting your time & its happen true what they told. And They dont have manners how to talk to guests. Only listing and keep quit. No one do anything for me & other passenger. I made complaint still no one contact me still. Really i am very upset.

                                  Please look into the mater very deeply & i need full justification on urgent bases. I am waiting for your response.

                                  I will recover each and everything whatever i lost because of your team.

                                    I have booked two air india flight tickets through airindia website. The tickets are from hyderabad to mumbai. The scheduled departure time is 06:20 a. M on 7th may 2018. However, they have pre-poned it to 05:35 a. M. We will be reaching hyderabad on 7th may from vijayawada, the time of our arrival will suit only the actual schedule departure i. E. 06:20 a. M. I know that schedule changes within one hour are allowed but as the schedule change is in the early hours of the day, it is highly inconvenient for any passenger to adjust with the timings. I spoke with the air india customer care team, they are not at all helpful. Instead they are reading out the cancellation charges. I have asked the customer care team to transfer the call to senior manager for which they put me on hold for more than 30 mins (As usual). Finally, i spoke with mr. Brijesh (Supervisor, air india mumbai). Even he wasn't helpful in making arrangements for convenient flight.
                                    The flight schedule change is highly inconvenient as it is in the early hours of the day, i would require your help in acquiring 100% refund charges for the cancellation.

                                      I had booked ai651 from vishakhapatanam to mumbai for 9 april in name of sarita surendra tendulkar and my son and infant baby on 01 april 2018.
                                      But i didnt receive any email or sms confirmation from air india until 02 april morning though my money (7915/-) was deducted from my sbi net banking. On calling customer care executives i was informed on 02 april morning my name isnt on flying list for specific flight and i should book another ticket and apply for refund to air india e commerce by e mail. I did so but didn't receive reply from e commerce. Simultaneously i booked jet airways ticket.
                                      On 04 april morning again i spoke to customer care executive and i was again confirmed my name isnt on flying list and i should send reminder to e comerce for refund. At e commerce lady assured me saying sometimes payment gets stuck in gateway and doesn't reach us. Wait for few days we will refund you.
                                      . Again i called up customer care on 06 april morning and spoke to customer care supervisor directly. He assured me again my name isnt on specific flight and i should convey this to e commerce for full refund.
                                      Accordindly again i wrote to air india ecommerce to refund my complete money back without any cancellation charges at the earliest as my money was stuck with no fault of mine.
                                      Complete refund was assured to me by e commerce helpline at 1015 hrs on 06 april 2018. I have recorder voice calls where i am assured by air india customer care executive, my name is not reflected in specific flight. Hence i should write for full refund without any aditional charges. I am attaching recorded voice calls with air customer care.
                                      Now nearly after 20 days of my money being deducted i am offered a refund of merely 2640/- rs instead of 7890/-. Now why am i losing my hard earned 5275/- rs without slightest fault of mine.
                                      I want to complaint against this fraud carried out by air india. Please look into the matter and help me get my money back.

                                        Reached airport 3hrs in advance to my surprise at midnight you dont expect to stand 1hr-40min on counter que when you are sleepy at midnight
                                        On top my entertainemt screen at seat 34f wont work 15hr flight i have taken pics of both above events que and screen error message for prooof to show your cmd
