I did not get a seat on 14 apr 18 at 2 pm from delhi to london, due to over booked flight. This means air india is selling tickets which are sold already. This is fraud. I intend to take this to the press.
I requested for earlier flight but i was booked for 1400 hrs on the 15.04.18 instead of 2.45 am on the same day.
I speak to someone at customer service who confirms i am booked for 2.45 am flight. However, when i come to airport to check because i no longer trust ai. To my expected surprise, i am told that i am booked for 1400 hrs flight. On top of that, staff are not helpful and sympathetic as in any other airline. My first flight to india, worst ever experience. I am a victim here and request for an upgrade as compensation. The departments lack communication, customer service
I shall be updating experience on facebook and create awareness and disgraced.

    I am traveling from Aizawl to Kolkata on 11/04/18 seat number 4 D name Prabal Rajdeep. One bag of mine was torn and I reached the baggage assistance desk. I request for a complain copy as the resolution was not suitable for me. A person name Sunny Sharma has misbehaved me along with his colleagues joining him. He also assaulted me physically. So I want the decision from you right now. Otherwise I have to go to Court.(Voice Recording of the Conversation is their, if required can mail you the same.)

      Hello,
      Today i missed my flight because of airlines associates negligence.

      The flight ai 127 from hyd via delhi to chicago.
      I was there at baggage line at 19.45, my flight scheduled at 20:55, the baggage line was huge and inspite of my several heads up there was response nor announcement of gate closure.

      When my turn came up at counter it was 20:20 and gate was closed.
      During this waiting time i have been checking with airline associates and expressed my concerns but no body really seems to be cared and instead said an announcement would come if there is any problem.

      I finally checked to re-schedule my flight to tomorrow 09/04 and they said an extra charge will be applied, which is totally stupid.

      Fyi.. There were 5 others along with me on this concern.

      I appreciate your feedback on this, take some action and ignore my penality amount.

        My baggage was cut open while on flight from Delhi to Mumbai.
        When I complained they depreciated the value of my bag and offered me Rs3000 as compensation.
        I can neither get a new bag of same quality nor get my bag fixed at that cost.
        They are telling me to give purchase reciept which I don't have now.

        They sent someone home to check if the bag can be fixed but it was cut in a bad shame and cannot be repaired.

        This is very shameful act and I feel very insecure keeping my valuables or anything for that matter in the bags.

        Also air india has no right to depreciate the value of my bags and tell me to accept some compensation.
        I could have used my bags for 5 more years if it wasn't damaged.

        This isn't the first time with my bad experience with Air India. They have even cancelled my tickets due to their mistake in system once .

          Defence discounts are supposed to be lesser than normal fare.
          But whenever i book through air india, they charge me higher than the normal fare in all sectors.

          This is an unreasonable attempt to fetch money from consumers, which even other pvt airlines don't indulge in.

          Please do something about it air india authorities. Try to be less lame in your functioning, its high time.

              Hi, i am mohamed siddiq, i booked a domestic air ticket from chennai (Maa) to trichy (Trz), i was allowed to carry only 15 kg in economy class, but in this link: (http://www.airindia.in/checked-baggage-allowances.htm) you can very clearly look at the baggage allowance for economy class as 25 kg, when i tried contacting the customer support they are giving me some blatant reason that they can provide 25 kg only for international passengers, anyone who tries to book the domestic ticket will check the baggage allowance and come to the conclusion that all the economy class passengers are allowed to carry 25 kg only, so your information on your website gave improper information which mislead me to book the ticket.. I greatly regret booking the ticket through air india which turned out to be a nightmare.

                This is to inform you that i was flying from jfk airport newyork to delhi and there was a hover board in my check in baggage as i was not informed by your officials to take it out from baggage even i had paid an amount of 100$ as an excess baggage. Now if that stuff was not permitted they must have informed me as i can bring it in my hand baggage as i spent 260$ for that hover board.                   Me and my husband are travelling from hyd to jfk. At connecting flight at delhi my seat has been changed at boarding gate. The reason told was we are of different pnr numbers. We explained to him that we selected specific seats while booking online and we were given boarding pass with same seats in hyd whilr check in. Despite our explanation he changed my seat from 23b to 20b and he was very rude amd kept saying that some family had booked with same pnr so they changed them.                     I was informed that my flight from hyderabad to coimbatore on 31mar was delayed by 2 hrs from the actual departure time 9:35. When i booked the ticket on 27 mar, the flight departure time was 9:35 but when i took boarding pass on 30 mar, departure time was mentioned as 11:35. So i reached airport at 10 am on 31 mar. But when i completed my security check,
                    Duty manager ms. Atheeka sultana called me and said that the flight had already started. Upon discussion i came to know that it is because of the system fault i got wrong information. Initially they said that they can give alternate flight in jet airways. Then later they said they don't have any direct flight and they can't give seats kn connecting flight. They are not ready to pay the extra fare which i have to pay for the other airlines as i have to travel on the same day. It is because of their mistake i have to spend 3500 bucks again from my pocket. When i asked about the same, ms. Atheeka sultana told that i can claim that amount with the air india by submitting new ticket, but when i asked for a written confirmation she was not ready to give that too. The way she behaved with me was totally upserd. I need proper justification for the issue which was made by air india.

                    The number which was mentioned during booking was different and the number which I have updated when I called the customer care is different. Ms. Atheeka Sultana called me to the updated number only. I literally ran to the gate numbered 106 by seeing the flight status as 'Final call'. But when I went near the gate they said it is closed. Seriously I don't understand why they did like this. Ms. Janani Ramadhas was kind enough to explain the situation to me rather than the Duty Manager. It happened with 2 other passengers too.

                      I had boarded ai 679 from bom to ixe at 0945h on 26 mar 18. I had to further catch trivandrum express from mangalore station at 1420h to reach my unit in payyanur but due to such a long delay in the flight i missed my train and on speaking to officials, nobody seems to be able to do anything or compensate for my financial loss of the train ticket and the inconvenience caused to me.

                          On my travel to Delhi from Bhubaneswar in flight no. AI 474 on Date 03/03/2018 my baggage was broken due to mishandle and I received a broken baggage at Delhi . So I registered a complain at Air India office at Gate no.8 T3 to Mr. Rahul Kumar inDelhi. When I registered complain they have taken picture of baggage and I was told to follow up Air India after a week and when I called up after a week after many try they answered my call and told me to talk with there vendor who is in Delhi on calling them they say me to bring the broken luggage at there Delhi office. Sir I live in Bhubaneswar how will I now bring broken luggage at Delhi now, So I contacted Air India again they told me they will transfer this case to Bhubaneswar and now on continuous mail and call they are not responding and on calling up they put phone aside and on mails they are not replying intensely . This a very bad experience I am facing please help me. I am providing the complaint

                            I have more than one lakh frequent flier miles in my account - 18th was my birth day - i tried my best to avail this offer-spent time from! 7th midnight to 18th midnight - when flight details are finalised i was informed i will get a call back for making the payment-pnr was created yvbc5-
                            I was later asked to go through ivr for credit card details - i entered the details correctly keeping the credit card in front of me - every time the response came you have not given the details pl try again-then you exceeded the no of times - even when i reached the stage of entering otp to complete the payment process - the same response - finally i was told ticket cannot be issued before 12 pm-you cannot avail the offer-
                            May be the staff are not keen to issue the tickets as it is late night by that time-hence the unfair practice - it is unfortunate air india could not fulfill even the birth day offer - which is only crediting few miles redeemed on 1st leg of journey - which even now it can fulfill by issuing tickets on my pnr-with the same offer.
                            Will air india fulfills its own offer - to enhance its reputation-i hope so mobile no+ [protected]

                              I air india staff mr diptimar taluktar, employee at delhi boarding counters under flr manager shweta arora

                              This person mr diptimar taluktar hereby reffered as lier is well trainned and seems professional lier as he convinced me flt ai9831 on 15th mar'18 is cancelled and i have been allocated next flt by no other choice

                              The lier denys he ever said that the flt was cancelled etc.
                              I really would want to understand what on earth could make his manager or rather air india mngt believe a passenger would agree without protesting for a forceable flt change, that too after 4hrs.
                              The lier also has the audacity to say that no one can harm me whatsoever and wheresoever, when i said thay he is a disgrace for pax and ai as he showed an unapologetic attitude, ignoring his lies in presence of his mgr.
                              Instead him... His manager apologized... Such is the pain when you deal with these liers after making an effort to walk back from the boarding gate to actually confirm my original flt was on time and self has been fooled by this lier

                              It is a shame and disgrace to our national carrier to have this lier dealing with passengers.
                              I hope some reasonable action is taken on my written complaint.

                              Until then i would warn fellow passengers, basis my experience, beware of this lier mr diptimar taluktar at delhi t3 terminal.

                                I cancelled my air ticket (Pnr jrn93) on 05.01.2018. I haven't received the refund amount to the bank account yet. You had replied that the refund transaction has failed at payment gateway bank. It has been more than two and half months by now. Please do the needful as the amount is urgently needed for emergency purpose.

                                  I, dr. Dhawal kaushal had travelled via flight (No-ai 91) to ahmedabad from mumbai on 17th of february, 2018 via pnr no. H739h. The flight timings were from 18.15 to 19.27 which got delayed. I would like to bring it your notice that in my checked in baggage i had kept my samsung galaxy tab 3 8 inches worth rs.23000. When i checked my baggage at home, my tab was missing. I don t understand the reason. I’ve made numerous calls regarding this but to no avail. No one was interested in paying heed to my complaint. This incident puts a big question on the safety of our belongings while travelling and the kind of response from the authorities regarding the same. Though i am a frequent traveller i have never experienced something like this before. I hope we can resolve this problem short of formal legal action. I would like to know the status of my tab.                                     Dear sir/ madam,
                                    I had a booking from chennai to srinagar on ai440 & ai825 (Airline booking reference hmcp7) on 19 feb. As ai 440 was delayed for 3 hrs 24 mins i reached delhi late and was not able to catch ai 825 to srinagar as the flight had already left. Refund was processed for ai825 as there was no other air india flights available on same day anf flights on next day 20 feb were available but no seats were available. So i had to travel by goair.
                                    For the purpose of reimbursement/ claim my cda is requiring a no seat availability certificate for 20 feb 18. You are requested to provide the same through email/ post

                                      Recently i was travelling by air india by ai102 on 27.02.2018 delhi to mumbai. It is observed that hot tea and coffee was supplied to passengers in plastic cups. It is a well known fact that the heat reacts with the chemicalswhich releases dioxin which is a toxin causes cancer.                                         I had booked 04 tickets on[protected]
                                        E ticket no.[protected] to[protected].
                                        The tickets amounted to rs.105000 approximately. I had cancelled tickets on 2/3 february.
                                        It is regretted to inform that till date i had not received the amount back in my credit card. For more than 1 month such a huge amount is blocked on my card. After repetitive reminders n many visits to your office at jabalpur also no fruitful result is achieved.
                                        If i don't get my amount back in next 02 days i would be compelled to move to appropriate court of law.

                                        Hoping for the quickest response.
