Dear air india,

I want to bring your notice to the unfortunate incident happened with me and the mental harassment i had to go through on 2nd oct 2018 travelling by air india ai617 from mumbai to hyderabad.

At mumbai terminal 2 air india counter, i checked in my baggage (Slip number ai864823, [protected]). When i collected my bag at hyderabad airport belt number 2, i was shocked and disappointed to see that it was damaged very badly. Immediately i reported at the hyderabad airport designated air india counter who deals with damaged and lost baggage. I explained them the incident completely and shown them the damaged checked in bag. Though they agreed that this is the mistake happened from air india but did not provided me a solution towards replacement of my damage. When i requested them to provide me a complaint form they denied to take my written complaint though the complaint form was available with your ground staff.

Me and my family are frequent travelers by air india and hope our relationship will continue. With this trust i would like you to look into this matter as top priority and kindly provide me replacement of my bag (I purchased my bag at a cost of rs 5400/- few months back).

For your reference/evidence i can send the photographs taken at hyderabad airport air india counter displaying my damaged bag to your ground staff.

I am a student of NIT Srinagar. But my home city is Jammu it is very difficult to travel to Jammu by road due to of landslide and according to our background we will not able to pay many airplane charges. I just suggest you for this please reduce this high charges acc. To income.

    I(Aparna Hiremath) and my sister(Pallavi Hiremath) had a flight from Bangalore to Hyderabad on Air India flight 977 at 5 and I had been trying to check in since 9 in the morning. We reached the airport and 4;15 and they did not let us in and one of your employees is shouting at us to come atleast by 4:15 to check in. We were there and they did not do anything but miss behave.

      Hi.. This is regarding my ticket booked with air india for flight scheduled for aug 26 from kochi to mumbai. It has been a month since the flight was cancelled and i still haven't recieved my refund. I have emailed [protected]@airindia.in on sept 5 regarding my refund but still have not recieved any response from them. The customer care stated that the refund would be recieved in 15 working days. But it has been more than 15 working days now and i still haven't recieved it
      Air india has not done anything to initmate the customer regarding the refund.. You have taken my money and not ready to give it back

        I booked air india flight ai764, ai9731 connecting flight from delhi to pasighat on 01 and 02 oct 18 respectively on 23 sep 18 under armed forces category. Due to some commitments, i had to cancel the flight within 24 hrs of booking. I paid rs 7561 for booking the connecting flight and is being charged rs5250 (Rs2625 per sector) for cancellation. This refunds me an amount of just rs 2311. The refund is not justified as the flight ticket individually for kolkata (Intermediate station) to pasighat costs rs 2150 only but i am being charged rs 2150+5%tax as cancellation charge which is actually more than the booking amount. This is mere loot by air india which otherwise offers 100% refund to flights from usa but no consideration for domestic travellers. I intend to raise my concern to aviation minister and resolve this issue at the earliest.

          I have purchased long straight hair wig from club factory and it was delivered on 04/09/2018 .my order number is so43127836 . i cheeked the item but I was not that exactly in color it was whiting color instead of golden which I ordered, and I wanted to returned at the same time but that delivery man told me that you can follow the process of return but I don’t know the procedure .this was my first experience with club factory I hope you can help me to return my hair wig.

            Air india flight no. Al 932 jeddah to bombay 20th september 2018 got delayed for 3-4 hours. The haj passengers mostly aged above 50 years all are in a bad state without any compensation or food services no place to rest. They are asked to travel via another flight which is jeddah to bombay via hyderabad which will reach bombay almost at the same time as their delayed flight plus they have limitations on the weight of the luggage to be carried in the via hyderabad flight. Please take immediate action against this.

              I booked on ai9644 flight from jaipur to delhi for 15th september 2018. Pnr/ ref no. Is hpmww. (Eticket no.098 [protected]) flight was scheduled to depart at 20:25. It was delayed and last message received informing expected departure at 23:55. I got a call from jaipur air india office about the delay and they gave the option to cancell the ticket with full refund. I requested them to cancell the ticket. I was told that refund will be sent to the travel agent through whom ticket was booked.
              Today i checked with my agent m/s pinky forex but they told me that they have not received any information from air india nor their system shows the cancellation of ticket. I called the helpline number of air india and talked to one mr satish. He was of no help. He didnt know to whom i should approach for solution.
              Pl look into the matter and refund the full ticket amount at the earliest.

                Good afternoon,
                I recently made a complaint to air india on 09th september 2018 following their appalling decision to deny me boarding the mumbai to london flight on 04th september 2018. This is because they overbooked and although i had a valid confirmed ticket, me and my 2 young children were denied boarding at 4am in the morning. I was dealt with very unsympathetically and was treated very badly when i tried to reason why they overbooked the flight and who's brilliant decision was it to deny a mother with two young children boarding.
                As expected, i still haven't received a reply from air india regarding my complaint whereas i was told i will receive a response within 72 hours. I am looking for air india to compensate me for the harrassment and inconvenience caused and would really appreciate your help in this matter. Dgca website clearly explains that i am due compensation and air india are now ignoring me.
                I would like to say that air india is a disgrace to india and really doesn't see their customers needs. They fail to realise that their jobs are there because people like us travel by them. I will never in my life travel by air india ever again. Totally ashamed.
                As this website clearly says no to to include personal i formation i havent included my complaint reference. Is there a secure way i can send the relevant information to you.

                    Yesterday (10th sept 2018) one of my family members miss tanvi gandhi was supposed to travel to hyderabad from delhi via flight ai-839 from t3 indira gandhi international airport she had a small dog with her. When she approached your staff to find out if she could speak with the captain regarding permission for the dog, your staff members lied to her saying that the captain has refused permission, where as they had not spoken to him in the first place since his phone was unreachable. When the truth was discovered, your duty manager mrs. Neelam sehani brutally insulted tanvi in front of your staff and used abusive language. She told tanvi that she will not let her board the flight even without the dog and tore her boarding pass in front of your staff and told them to delete her off the list. And they did and declared her as “no show” at 8:20 pm where as the flight was at 9:10 pm. Tanvi was insulted, humiliated and harassed and no one came to her aid.
                    I am pressing charges and filing an fir against the duty manager neelam sehani and the staff involved. The police will look into the cctv footage to gather evidence for their report.
                    This is a clear case of harassment and there is nothing to consolidate for this.
                    It is characters like neelam sehani that customers turn against the company/brand entirely. I’m for certain that my family and i will never travel with air india again.

                      On Aug 31st 2018 I had a confirmed booking from Delhi to Mumbai on AI 102.
                      I tried web checkin, kiosk self checkin but nothing worked. There were many passengers stranded in long queues for checkin & even at the counters AI reps were not able to checkin the passengers and complained of server failure.
                      I was in the airport an hour early for my flight and was standing in the queue at least more than 15 mins. By the time my turn came, the rep denied me checkin & told me I was 5 mins late to the reporting counter for checkin
                      And he asked me to go to another counter and ask for a resolution.
                      To my surprise, there were already a dozen passengers ahead of me at this counter & were reasoning out for reporting late. The manager turned a deaf ear and asked all the late passengers to make a fresh reservation. There was a lady at the counter too & didn’t treat passengers well.
                      I had already traveled a 14 hour long and taxing flight from New York to Delhi & wanted to be in Mumbai that very day.
                      After trying to reason out with AI officials for 30 mins there was still no solution so I went ahead to JetAirways & made a new booking right there for next available flight at 14k INR.
                      I’d like to bring this to the notice of the law makers the inconvenience, hassle and mental trauma caused to me by AI 102 on August 31st 2018 & would demand action against them.

                        I was traveling from Leh to Delhi and then from Delhi to Kolkata with Air India. I had opted for a through baggage transfer from Leh to Kolkata. But on arrival at Kolkata I saw that my luggage was broken and damaged for which I was particularly inconvenienced.                           Air India: An absolutely abysmal experience
                          The national airline carrier of the country, AIR INDIA, on September 2, 2018 reached a new low in the services provided by the already dwindling entity, courtesy the treatment meted out by its staff members.
                          I am Ekakshra Mahajan and I utilized the services of the Airline on August 31, 2018 for a round trip from Mumbai to Delhi to attend a Law Teachers Day Celebration in New Delhi attended by the Vice-President and Chief Justice of India. I booked my return from Delhi to Mumbai for the 7:00 PM flight. However, not once, but twice, the scheduled flight was changed and my flight status was changed arbitrarily on two different occasions. I was finally informed, only upon calling the Customer care representatives, that I was now on the 9:10 PM flight. I requested to be booked on an earlier flight, but at 5:00 PM I was informed that the only available option was a flight at 6:00 PM which would not be feasible. I spoke to, on an average, eight customer care representatives, to at the minimum, provide or arrange for transportation from the Mumbai Airport to my residence in Chembur.
                          Much to my dismay, I was told that the request could not be entertained and I should place this request at the Airport itself, and there was a high possibility that the same could be facilitated since they have made such services available, in the past. (Thankfully, all their calls are recorded and the same can be accessed through their records from the following phone number: +91 [protected]).
                          On reaching the Airport, I met with Ms. Suman who asked me to speak at the Customer care desk, which in turn asked me to go back to Ms. Suman with my SIMPLE, LEGITIMATE request. Despite being in touch and consulting with each other, your employees at Delhi customer care desk of Air India, tried making a fool of an unaccompanied woman, by creating absolute chaos.
                          I was then directed to Mr. Kuldip at the Air India desk who, I’m sorry to say, does not meet even the minimum level of professionalism and etiquette required out of a Senior staff member of the national airline carrier of the country. In the brusque manner that he spoke to me, he said, “You should have come earlier and I would have out you in the 6:00PM flight!) Like I was given an option Sir! I was only informed on the arbitrary change of my flight status on two different occasions when I called the Air India representatives. i was informed that my flight time was 8 PM now, which was anyway late, but to my further dismay it was changed to 9:10 PM! So my arrival time, essentially became by departure time.
                          This wasn’t even the basic point of contention. The epitome of harassment, in addressing a legitimate grievance by a person, not only in the capacity of a passenger, but a woman traveling alone, was by Mr. Rakesh. I tried telling him my gruesome experience with his staff and why I was requesting for transportation and his reply to my request was… “So, What do you want? Do you want money?”
                          A simple request made by me, during the course of my conversation with every single person I spoke with from your Airlines was, “That I booked myself on a 7 PM flight to reach my house by maximum 10 PM. I did not book myself on a 9:15 PM flight to reach home in the wee hours of the night. (I reached home at 1:00 AM” I wish I had the privilege of cancelling the flight and booking myself on a flight the next day but unfortunately, like most professionals working, I had work the subsequent day. So that wasn’t even a proposition. The LOATHSOME and in such bad taste, your staff member, Mr. Rakesh’s response was overwhelming for me and I was reduced to tears for making this request, rather asking for something, which at a minimum, would qualify as a right! I told Mr. Rakesh that all they had to do, as a responsibility owed to one of their passengers, was arrange for transportation and perhaps just inform the driver that, the woman is traveling alone so just drop her home safely.
                          This small request was turned into a nightmare for me and I’ve had one of the most abysmal experiences of my life. The unprofessionalism of senior staff members in their responses and offering money? Asking for transportation qualifies as asking for money?
                          As a government owned enterprise, their services need to advance the government’s interests for empowering women and ensuring their safety.

                            Flight no ai616/03 sept 2018 is rescheduled and new flight is after five hrs waiting time. Ai603 hyd to mumbai and estimaated departure time 13:20. No lounge facilities
                            Airport duty manager refuses saying she can not help.. She has no authority
                            On 1 st sept mumbai vijaywada ai ix 124 same thing happen. Due to some technical problem we seatedvin aircraft till 9:30. (Actual dep time 8 am) and then we have to cgange aircraft and startrd at 12 pm)
                            So i am so surprise with air india

                              I have booked an air india flight for my journey from mumbai to vijayawada using "goibibo.com", for the date 03/08/2018, but when i had reached the air india counter (At around 12:15 am after checking out from an international flight), i was informed that the flight was not operational on that date and told me that they could help me only in exiting the airport.

                              When i called the customer service of the airlines, i was told that on their system it was showing that i had taken the flight on 1st of august, 2018, which would be impossible as i was in milan on 1st of august, 2018. When i explained this to them, they changed my status to "no show", even though i was at the airport.

                              Later, i had made another booking on another airline and went to the other terminal to wait for 10 more hours for my flight. And when asked for refund no one responds properly.
                              When i had asked goibibo for the refund, they told me that my case was unusual and had forwarded my complaint to the airlines. They haven't gotten any reply from the airlines yet and it's been almost a month.

                              I would like the airlines to solve my issue and help me in getting the refund as soon as possible.

                              I started from Chicago on 5th sep and landed bangalore at 6th sep. I see my suitcase that the numbered lock is totally broken.
                              Seems like someone tried to plan to steal things out of it .
                              My jacket and new clothes I bought around $150 are missing . And my suitcase lock is also gone now .

                                I was fly from hyderabad to tn on 25th august. I checked my bags in hyd. I need to collect my bags at hyd and check them again at mumbai. But my flight was from hyd was delayed so not able to check in at mumbai. My air lines is ai 051 baggage number[protected], 2nd bag is [protected].
                                1st bag is black rectanglar, 2nd is black bag with purple border.

                                  I bought an expensive business class international ticket for air india flight ai-127 from new delhi to chicago on aug 21st, 2018. Despite paying such an hefty price for the business class ticket, my journey was a disaster. The seat number 9f was broken. I could not recline the seat at all. All the buttons for raising legs or to recline the seat were broken. Some metal rod kept poking my back all through the journey and now i am suffering from a terrible back pain.

                                  I called the cabin manager but all he kept repeating was "unfortunately we cannot do any thing about it. Please file a compliant with air india when you get to chicago". I asked him to make a report about this so i can send it to air india customer service and he refused to give a written report. He said we are filing a report but it is confidential and they cannot give me a copy. They did nothing to compensate for this discomfort.

                                  I want air india to compensate me for this. They should be checking the seats that they are functional. After all, they are charging an arm and a leg for business class.

                                    Upon contacting air india for complete refund on the subject ticket we were advised that we should travel on the same as trivandrum airport is operational on the subject date and air india is operating flights for the destination.

                                    We tried to reason that as our final destination is not trivandrum but venmonye in pathanamthita district, which roughly 200 kms from trivandrum and the route is flooded and at destination the water levels are dangerously high.

                                    And as per reports being shown in news, air marshall has confirmed that people are still stranded in venmony our final destination, how can we go to a place from where people are being evacuated to safety.

                                    It seems that the airline is forcing its customers or taking undue advantage of there present conditions by not waiving of the airlines cancellation charges.

                                    As we have no other option at present we are cancelling the tickets with air india, and hoping that the airline cancellation charges will be refunded to us soon.

                                      I am booked 2 tickets from velankanni to Coimbatore, but they haven't dropped me in Coimbatore instead of they dropped in Kangeyam. They provide reason for the bus is breakdown. They are doing the same in second time.

                                      They haven't arranged spare bus for all of travelers who travels in that bus. Also they aren't provide bus fare all o[censored]s.

                                      But they communicated with private bus named vel murugan for our remaining journey to Coimbatore, but we forced to buy a ticket.

                                      I think they are doing this way to yearn money by fooling their customers.

                                      Need to take proper action both the private bus. Air India travels & vel murugan bus.

                                        I started my jatra kailash mansarovar on 21/07/2018 from lhr t2.
                                        What a chaos at the airport. No body asked us anything regarding power bank in hand luggage or cargo.

                                        Arrived at delhi airport boarding in for kathmandu i was pulled out to say that i have got coconut in my bag and i denied. They made me signed a paper to hold my bag. I could have demanded to have my bag but i didn't and carried on my with journey.

                                        Arrived at kathmandu and was given form to fill in for this missing bag. The gentleman asked if i had power bank in it and i said yes.
                                        When i arrived at the thamel eco resort i had to sent so many documents to the airport.

                                        So i went to my pilgrimage without this bag. This bag had my medication and so many of my needed stuff which i had to buy but i haven't got receipt.
                                        My resort people were ringing everyday to find out if my bag was there but no joy.

                                        Basically i got this bag when i came back from my jatra on 07/08/2018. They took 1 power bank which was new and didn't take the solar power bank. So explain please.

                                        So london delhi no problem but delhi kathmandu all this shenanigan why?

                                        Hi,
                                        I was travelling from Goa on 15th August to bagdogra (connecting to Bombay -delhi-bagdogra). I didn't receive my luggage. I tried to find out what was happening they told me to fill the form (PIR). It's been 3days my luggage is missing. I called Head office of air India still no clue.
