I have to update my frequent flyer no which i am not been able to do this after so many tries and request to air india frequent flyer department . I have to urgently book a ticket through freqent flyer points since as per the air india records it is showing that i am having two frequent flyer nos which as per policy i have to merge but despite so many requests nothing is happening, It has become very frustrating now since i am not able to update my frequent flyer records to book a ticket. thanks

    On 15-Jul-2018, AI 417 was approx 3 hours late from Delhi on its way to Ranchi and reached Ranchi Airport at around 4 PM. The flight has official time of reaching Ranchi at around 1.10 PM.

    I was travelling with my wife on this flight and had an onward journey to Rourkela from Ranchi (Hatia station). But, due to the flight delay, I missed my train Tapaswini Express 18451 from Hatia station (Ranchi) which departs at 3.55 PM.

    I faced a lot of mental and physical trauma due to this event and only with a lot of pain was i able to book ticket on a different train and was able to reach Rourkela on the same day.

    Is there no accountability of Air India for this misordeal I had to face?

    1. I need refund of the ticket of the train which I missed.

    2. In addition I would like to claim additional sum for the mental and physical trauma I had to suffer due to the airlines. There was no attempt from the airlines to pro-actively assess if any passenger had to suffer losses due to their mismanagement.

      Dear

      I had booked a Domestic Airindia flight on 10/07/2018 from Mumbai to Lucknow.

      While trying to make payment i had a Errror msg so i tried to book it again and this time message was successful payment but i had deduction twice.

      while i try to contact Air india they told me to wait for minimum 14 days which is a half month a long time i cant wait that long as it is not my mistake Airinidia had deducted my charges.

      Please arrange to refund the amount ASAP.

        My family travelling from doha to Jamnagar Booking reference no (PNR): J1YNW

        International flight reached at mumbai morniing 2 am and domestic flight is late due to operational reason.
        Now ground staff refusing to take luggage. My family with two kids how can manage 10 hour all luggage, where they can stay ? No body giving proper answer, no cooperation from ground staff, rude talking with family by checkin staff, no respect of ladies and kids, I tried to call no body answering on phone,
        Last 10 years worst experience ever with our own pride Airline Air india.
        I am help less when my family called me arround 2 am morning, no body answering on international help desk, airport support staff ...
        I have no word to express what my family suffer during this time...

          I am travelling to singapore on 08th July from delhi flight no AI 382. All passenger name is bharat hinduja, anjali thadhani, Avni hinduja and Aayushi hinduja. I purchased Nadine for my Daughter at the time of booking the tickets. Post boarding the flight, I have been informed that basinet is not available. Such a disgusting, unprofessional and inhuman act of service it is!!! I paid and still not getting the service. Will soon lodge a complaint about you people in consumer coart...

            Dear Customer Relations, Customer Relations

            I am writing to you to raise an issue about: Flights - departure Mumbai- Stavanger on 12/june/2018 by flight SK 1876

            The issue that I have experienced was: We missed our Air India flight from Mumbai to Stavanger, our boarding pass was created at 8.30 am whereas flight departure was of 9am, no assistance provided for quick security check in, on gate our boarding was denied. And we were asked how come boarding pass was generated at 8.30 am, why we were not accommodated to 10am flight.
            Our international travel went on toss. We reached airport at 7am for 9am flight for delhi, where immegrattion to be done and international flight was from Delhi at 2.30pm for Stavanger with one hault. We had excess baggage of 8kg that was our only falut, which took initial time to come to conclusion that we have to add one more checkin baggage and pay for it, there was no guidance from floor attendant on how quickly it can be done, by the time we managed to create one additional bag of 10 kg, it was 8am. They started swiping our card, some technical issue with there swipe machine, so they started doing it manually, all these back n fro eaten up crucial time and end up creating boarding pass by 8.30am.
            And when we reached at the gate by 8.50am, we were denied entry and was asked question to us that how come we were issued boarding pass after gate closing, and seing our international flight, why we were not asked to take next flight of 10am. Instead of gate attendant asking all these questions to boarding pass issuer or allowed us to board, he was questioning us and putting all blame to ground team.

            So I want to raise a complaint that instead of issuing boarding pass at 8.30am for a 9am flight, why we were not guided correctly to take 10am flight. No assistance for security checkin, totally left all alone messing up with a family international travel. No guidance on next trip, as we were yelling at reception desk as we have got a new job in Stavanger, any how we have to travel, we can't risk our job. They were such thick skinned people at customer desk, no humanity, no consideration, no guidance! I had to buy on immediate basis Turkish airlines flight for same day, which costed me three tickets of total 1, 40, 000+ rupees, where as I had already purchased air India ticket of total 99, 000+ rs, got refund from Air India as no show of rupees 39, 000+
            We lost so much money, so much peace of mind with Air India!

            It occurred on: June 12th, 2018

            I seek your help and guidance in raising this issue to right authority and getting us refund at earliest. I do understand, you serve in UK, but please do help me as now we are a permanent residence card holder in Norway

            I look forward to your prompt response on this matter. As recommended by Trading Standards, I would like to keep a complete record of my case, so please reply back via this email account.

              Hi,
              We have cancelled a ticket booked online with reference number "[protected]",
              Its been more than a month we have cancelled it and we haven't got any response from your department.

              Traveller name:- mamatha rajanala.

              The customer service department had no clue about the refund status and can't assist customers on the refund status.

              I have no help in the world to find out the refund status. I need to know the status of this refund.
              Air India customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
              Due to delay of AI330 Mumbai to Bankok on 22nd june.18, my connecting flight SL 770 ( PNR GDMSYO ) on 22nd June missed . We have to catch next flight with additional cost of 5500 BHT with loss of 5 hours of your and problems to my family.
              We need compensation urgently.

                Was waiting for boarding at gate.42 of terminal 3, when we were told that the flight has been cancelled. I was travelling alone as a senior woman. But i was humiliated and harassed by air india officials as they told that we will not cancel the ticket and we will provide you alternate flight.
                Alternate flight departed on 30.6.2018 at 18.00 hours, 26 hours behind schedule. I went back all the way back to my place with all my luggage. I spent almost 1000/- for my taxi fare.

                  I had a flight on 25/6 after my travel from DC . I had couple of extra luggage however I made a point too reach early to avoid any problems . I also upgraded my economy class tickets to business class thinking that the baggage allowed will increase. After some discussion the people at airport concluded that upgrading doesn’t upgrades baggage allowances so u need to pay extra. I was ready to do that I asked then I willl my extra baggage amount but then refund / cancel the upgradation as it is of no benefit to upgrade but at last I was with the words pay fast for ur extra luggage, we cannot refund for upgrading n do it fast else u would miss the flight, n loose all money u spent which is not accepted. I just accept a decent behaviour with passenger n just not waste their time n end forcing to pay quickly ( harassing mentally), I don’t want any refunds but They owe an apology atleast n make sure they don’t do this again. I was also astonished to know this is usual behaviour with every passenger who travel after a long journey with extra baggage

                  Ai 415 idatef 28.06.18 from new delhi to patna s late by 5 hours. No alternate arrangement is available for customer s. Someone have suffered a lot. No post late service is provided. I have come from HP but still awaited for flight. The behavior of staff is not positive. They say what can I do?

                    I was at the delhi airport to take my flight on 21jun2018 at 0630. I requested for an upgrade on flight AI 887 del to bom ETKT no.[protected]. also requested for a change on the return flight AI 660 departing at 1800. For the return flight i requested a change for the 2100 departure. The executive MR. Singh on duty booked me on a flight leaving Mumbai at 0900!!! on AI 866. He did not even use his common sense that the passenger is standing in front of him in Delhi, how will he take a flight from Bom to Delhi at 0900 when the delhi flight itself arrives at 0925. For this i had to pay again.

                    This caused me huge inconvenience and i had to miss a meeting as well.
                    One, i want a full refund of the ticket which was booked under PNR Z662R on AI 866 plus compensation for the inconvenience. Why do you have such staff who are a waste to an airline.

                      This is to inform you that we board Air India on 17-6-18 by AI 332 from Delhi to Bangkok and returned on 22-6-18 from Bangkok to Delhi.
                      By this mail I would like to bring to your notice that we had a very bad experience since our first flight. In the first flight we noticed that Air hostess did not attend properly given the fact that we repeatedly pressed that help button above our seats but nobody turned up. Secondly the dress of one of thr Air hostess was torn from under the arm.On 22-6-18 we were not provided the blankets and the headphpones werw not working properly. Again they didn't attend us properly. Last but not least my husband travelled on 25-6-18. and again the flight got late for almost 5 hours due to some technical problem.We suffered alot. At the end I want to conclude that Air India represents our India globally.
                      The above said shortcoming cannot be ignored and should be taken care of.

                        I have been traveling through air india and i am a regular customer. But today at 23rd june flight 502 travelling from delhi to bangalore, the air india servers got shut down from 11 am to 3:30 pm. We were standing in queue from 11:30 to 3:30 by which our flight got delayed which was scheduled on 1:30 to no timing. The hoarding started at 3:45. People were standing in queue from hours and no response was given by the airline ground staff. They were just telling that they don’t know when the boarding will start. This is a great inconvenience caused by the airline. I am really disappointed by the service. Atleast people should be given intimation or shifted to lounges where we can rest. For hours we have been standing in queue and even the display board was not updated and showed boarding closed.in flight the people who boarded were not informed when the flight will take off. I would never recommend anyone to travel by air india.
                        I am currently sitting inside the plane and they are telling it will take approx 1-2 hour more to take off. Its already 4:00pm and by this time we should be in bangalore.
                        I would never recommend anyone travelling from airindia.

                          On 15.6.2018 our flight scheduled at 5.15 am to DEL-TRV.(copy of tickets enclosed)
                          We have taken a package of 3 nights 4 days. We have reached airport terminal 3 at 4.00am. After enter in the airport we directly go to the Air India counter for boarding pass. There was a huge line of more than 60 people so we asked a girl representative of the airline that we have our Air India flight to Trivandrum so from where we get the boarding pass, she told us that this is line, please follow the line. We stand there and wait for our turn noone told us that you should be hurry as u need to get the pass within 15 minutes.
                          When our turn come, the representative Mr. Bhagwan Singh at the passanger counter told us that it too late it's 4.45 am and now we cannot give to the boarding pass. We told him that we reached airport at 4.00am and your female representative told us to wait in the line and it took more than half an hour to get our number. So it's not our fault. Then we had work with Mr. T. R. Sharma, Counter Manager he said the same thing. At that time still half an hour left in take off the flight. Everyone was standing and arguing instead of taking necessary action. There is no Led information screen where one can find out the information atleast inform or guide the passagers. It is worst then Railway station and bus stand. The personal working there are good for nothing. Our flights had been missed due to negligence of the Air India staff.
                          It's our total loss of money and time. We were residing at Greater Noida and these tickets were booked on 7, May'18. It was all planned tour we booked are return tickets too.
                          We have to booked the tickets in emergency in next flight and on higher price (copy of tickets enclosed) as we already paid the package amount to the tour & travel company. It was the loss of 80 thousands. We want our hard earned money back.
                          I request you to please check the CCTV footage and it will be clear that at what time we had reached and what the staff did to us. Also take the necessary action against the representative who are on the duty and waste the customer time and money. They must bear the loss not us.                             Its been over 2 months now but neither Air India nor the airport authorities or the duty manager at the airport have responded or tried to help me with my complaint.I have sent many e-mails but its falling on deaf ears of Air India

                            Mrs. Sudershan Kumari ticket no.[protected] flight no. AI 308 April 13, 2018.

                            The 85 year old passenger required wheel chair assistance. On reaching the airport the ticket was shown to the staff sitting at the Air India open counter at Gate no 1. The gentleman glanced at the ticket and checked something on his system and said the flight is at 13.15. He arranged for a wheelchair and the passenger was at the security check counter. The assistant whiled away and spent time doing odd little things and helping others getting their baggage weighed while my aunt sat and watched him. I was waiting outside just to make sure she completes her security check and once she is through I will leave the airport as I had an urgent meeting at 13.30 pm.

                            After some time I saw the assistant move here and there and I saw him moving to the boarding lounge. I was happy that she has completed the first step and I was free to go. My sixth sense stopped me and I decided to wait for 5 more minutes before leaving that place. As I was about to move I saw the assistant coming out lazily as if enjoying the stroll.

                            I thought they have come to say bye for the last time. I waved at them. The porter seemed very calm, casual and normal as if nothing had happened. He informed me that My aunt was unable to board the flight as they have closed the flight this he informed me around 11.50 am. An hour after having waited at the security counter.
                            I rushed to counter 1 and pleaded with folded hands for help. They asked me the passengers name a hundred times and checking their system again and again before saying they can not do anything.

                            The staff there had NO KNOWELDGE about the fact that the flight was delayed by 1 hour. I told them that my aunt was at checkin counter well before time and that we are not at fault but they paid no attention. I kept telling them that the flight has been delayed but they woudnt listen.
                            The porters out there were after me for getting a new ticket booked. They took me to Akbar travels etc etc for a new booking but no one extended any help in boarding the flight. It took my aunt good 45 minutes to come out of the paasenger lounge. She was being taken to places for no reason on a wheelchair. I call thIs HARRASSMENT. What is MAY I HELP U COUNTER FOR?

                            I suggest a scrutiny of the CCTV footage so that you get a clear picture.

                            I request that I be paid for the loss I had to bear because of sheer negligence of Air India staff. She missed the connecting flight too.

                            What did the man check in his system?
                            He just fooled me that he has seen the ticket. He never read the destination name or fliggt number How can the porters be so irresponsible when they are assigned an important task. He never bothered to check the ticket for destination or flight number. IGI being a silent airport my aunt never realised that she is missing her flight. She is used to namrs being announced if a passenger has missed the boarding .

                            She comes to India nearly every year and she hasn't been able to get over the shock of having missed the flight that too when she spent good 50- 60 minutes at the security check. The trauma she went through while at the airport just because she is not that able to take care of herself.

                            Please look into the matter and refund the amount asap.

                                    Flight no. Ai 144 from mumbai to delhi on 17.06.2018. The flight was to take off at 5:00 pm. However we are still sitting in our seats hoping the technical snag gets resolved.
                                    The national airlines is in a deplorable state. This is not a first of the delay but it's unacceptable to be trapped in a confined space with several other people and ineffective air conditioning.
                                    The passengers have been taken for a ride and precious time has been lost.
                                    The charges are at par with any other airline serving the sector but the services are a disappointment and disgraceful.
                                    Compensation must be paid to the passengers for the harassment and inconvenience caused.
                                    Air India customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.

                                      This is to bring in your kind notice that i have booked a flight for my family in air india ai472 on dated 13th may 2018 sector udaipur (Maharan pratap airport dabok) to delhi (T-3) and the flight was departed at 3.15 pm from udaipur on this day. My flgith details are as follows:

                                      The was schedule to arrive in delhi at 4.15 pm on 13th may but it landed at 11.45pm on 13/05/2018, almost 7 hours 40 minutes delayed, whose delay certificate was issued by the duty manager at the t-3 airport.

                                      Our next connecting flight was from t-3 international airport from new delhi to new york via abu dhabi in etihad travels, which was take off on time at 21.15 hrs from delhi to abu dhabi “ey 223” and connecting flight from abu dhabi to new york “ey 103” was also take of on time from abu dhabi at 02.50 hrs. We could not reach on time at delhi airport due to delay of air india domestic flights.

                                      Due to delay of domestic flight, our international flight was missed and our tickets were cancelled by the etihad travels of all sectors on same day. We gave them (Etihad travels) the justification for delay of flights but they did not considered our request and compelled us to pay the penalty charges for new tickets. We approached air india duty officer but he denied helping us. Our travel agent who issued the tickets “ new super travels, udaipur” also denied to help us and informed us the approach the air india for new tickets to new york.
                                      But they did not. Thus we had paid rs.1, 19, 300/= to the etihad airlines for issuance of new tickets to fly to delhi-abu dhabi-new york on 14/05/2018. The new tickets were issued under the pnr “ultwed” from etihad travels, the copy of first tickets and second tickets is also enclosed herewith.

                                      Perceiving the facts and figures you are hereby requested to look into this matter and refund our extra paid amount for cancellation of tickets rs.1, 19, 300/- to us as they fault and delay is persisted by air india. It could not be said that due to bad weather the flight could not be land at delhi airport, if was not in position to land how atc at delhi airport does allowed the etihad airways to fly its plane ey 223 on 13th may 2018. Due to inefficiency, negligence and commitment not fulfilled by air india we had to pay extra amount and as well got the unnecessary burden and mental tortured at the airport form three hours. I along with my family and small children got suffered due to the mismanagement, misbehavior, mental torture by air india staff on duty on the date of 14.05.2018 at 00.00 hours to 03.00 hours.

                                      It is very pertinent to mention that how the employee are efficient in taking out the money from our pockets at we have travelled by ai 471 delhi to udaipur on 12th june 2018, they charged rs.3000/- for 6 kgs extra baggage on my tickets no.[protected]c1 boarding no 34 and we paid the full amount at once with document no.[protected].

                                      You are herewith requested to pay back our amount of rs.1, 19, 300/- within two weeks else the matter will be lodged in the appropriate court for refund and negligence in duties and services and mental torture and stress created due to your mismanagement.

                                      The copy of this letter is kept as record with us. All the copies of tickets and receipts is enclosed herewith for your ready references. Your early action is highly solicited.

                                        Kavitha rao a single lady travelling with a 10 year old child from shillong to kolkata on 02 june 2018 on the air india flight no ai9712.
                                        Since my final destination was bangalore, i had a reconnecting flight from kolkata to bangalore in indigo 6e-342 at 8.20pm
                                        The airport authorities informed us at 3.30pm that the flight from shillong is cancelled due to some technical fault and all o[censored]s will be sent to guwahati.
                                        As my flight to bangalore was from kolkata, i asked them what can be done in this situation, they said they cant help me as my ticket from kolkata to bangalore is on a different airline. But then since i was a single lady with a kid, the other passengers also insisted that i be helped.
                                        One mr vishnu and another gentleman assured me that they will put me on guwahati-bangalore flight which is to depart at 6.56pm from guwahati on 2 june 2018. They informed me that the flight no is ai775 and i will reach bangalore. I confirmed the same with him twice…
                                        On the way i cancelled my indigo ticket as they had assured me that i will be sent to bangalore from guwahati.
                                        We had very less time to reach guwahati airport, but somehow we did manage.
                                        On arrival at the airport in guwahati, i ran to the air india desk. The person (Mark i think a foreign looking person) started throwing a tantrum that i cant take the flight as my connecting flight is with indigo, but i told him that mr vishu assured me that i would be sent to bangalore.
                                        He spoke to mr vishnu on the cell, finally issued me the boarding pass. He did not tell me anything. By chance i managed to ask him as to why the ticket says ccu instead of blr, he conviently said.. Yeah you are going till kokata. I informed him that mr vishnu assured me that i will be sent to bangalore.
                                        He told me that since my ticket was till kolkata, they can send me only till kolkata. I informed him that i cancelled my indigo tickets based on their assurance.
                                        He said he could not do anything and finally i had to go to kolkata. I had to stay put with some acquaintance airport and book fresh tickets for the next day with jet airways at double the cost.
                                        How can a national carrier be so rude and unsympathetic towards its passengers. For no fault of mine i had to endure the hardships and pay an additional amount.
                                        Why was wrong information provide to me by mr vishnu?
                                        Why did the person at guwahati airport not tell me that the boarding pass is only till kolkata?
                                        I do understand there may be technical issues, but that does not mean that you just provide some wrong information to the customers.
                                        Request you to please compensate me with rs 10, 000 the extra amount that i paid for the new tickets with jet airways
