Dear Sirs,

I have cancelled my air-ticket No.[protected] for the sectors VTZ-MUM-HYD on 14th February 2021 owing to rescheduling of the flight from MUM-HYD on 7th March 2021 (Booking reference No. HJMTM).During the cancellation of my flight, I had been told that full refund will be granted and accordingly a case ID was generated. The case ID No. related to the cancellation is 07840411.

I have not received any update on the refund status. Kindly let me know the latest position and help me in getting the refund as soon as possible.

The massive rescheduling of flights due to situations arising out of COVID 19 restrictions by various countries, along
with the nationwide Lockdown till 31May20, has resulted in an unprecedentedly huge volume of refund request via email
which have to be processed with the limited human resources at our disposal.

Dear sirs
Kindly refer to my Email dated 1st March 2021 regarding full refund of my air ticket (Booking reference No. HJMTM and refund case ID No.[protected] and your reply thereto dated 2nd March 2021 indicating that refund of my ticket has been initiated and have added the same in HIGH PRIORITY REFUND List. Although a month and half passed, I have not received the refund nor any update in the matter. When we talked to your customer service today (15th April), we were told that refund has already been made on 8th of March to my bank account but on verification it was found that no such refund was made to my account. As such, It will be highly appreciated if you could kindly initiate immediate action and see that the amount is refunded forthwith without any further delay.

I have given to understand by your Customer Care that the refund has been effected as on 8th March 2021 but I find that my account with HDFC Bank was not credited with the refund so far.     I booked a flight from HYDERABAD TO TORONTO on May 10th due to travel ban cancelled my ticket and they said I'll get refund within 2/3 weeks and it's been nearly 2 months I still didn't get my refund so I want my refund from them
    Air India customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.

      My name is Thaaraga Deeban Ilamparithi. My PNR number is J7XW6. I have booked the flight from Bengaluru to Frankfurt on 08.07.2021 at 4:00 AM. Flight AI181. There is no prior information via email or phone regarding the reschedule or cancellation of the flight. After I informed the AirIndia staffs, I received the e-mail on 08.07.2021 at 01:18 AM. My place of departure is Chennai and I have to wait for one more day inside the airport to catch my next flight from Delhi. I am very disappointed with the AirIndia Service and Air India will not be my first priority anymore.

        On 04 th June I had booked two tickets number[protected]/17 from Delhi to Lucknow and initially the time of flight was 13.00 to 14 .00 but later I had a received a mail of reshule it on same date but time was 7.05 . Since my son exam had postponed so I made a request through your call center to hold it and they did the same and assured me whenever you plan your journey they will issue the ticket of same date .

        I have a very pathetic experience when I made a call to yours Guru Gram call center I called them number of times after a hourly hold they are not book my tickets and told that in this regard I will receive a call which not happen as yet

        I hope you will provide necessary assistance

          The flight was on Tuesday 29th June Bhubaneswar to Mumbai, Mumbai to Delhi, Delhi to Bahrain. within 3 layovers halting more than 32 hrs. I have done my test on Monday My RT-PCR test report was valid only for 48 hrs. when I was at Mumbai airport they boarding my all laugage and said everything is ok. once I reached Delhi my flight was at 11 pm but Airline people inform me that I cant travel at 10 pm. how someone can do a test while traveling. I have done Monday report comes on Tuesday.

          your service makes me bear to 50k and almost lost the job during this pandemic. I want my whole ticket fees to be refunded. otherwise, I forcefully take action legally.

            Air india had to refund for my tickets with numbers as below which was booked for aug 30th 2020 . It’s almost an year and they say it’s already refunded.

            Air india haven’t shared which bank it was refunded, no transaction details and no nothing. I have provided the bank statement with no refund transactions and still no response. I am doing everything to sue and take strict action.

                Air India cancelled our 6 flight tickets from Frankfurt to Delhi due to Covid last year July. Since then we have been unable to receive our refund and we have been passed from pillar to post.
                We have contacted various customer services desks and emailed multiple times. What else can we do?
                I believe there is a court order in place which places Air India under obligation to refund cancelled flights. Do I need to go to lawyers to enforce this ?
                We are not talking small money - its over 4000 USD of costs which they are sitting on.

                  Please note I am really disappointed with your services for refund. Since I Booked the Ticket Number[protected] /19 /18 /17 i haven't received the Refund which has been booked on 15 Feb 2020, call center team its mentioned as refunded on 16 March 2021. But the amount is not reverse in my credit card. I have checked with my Bank and its confirmed that the amount is not reversed

                  Today I told Air India Call Centre Team( Sujata) to connect to the Escalation Department. I had a word with Amrit ( Escalation Team) As per him there was some system error due to which amount was not refunded. . And he Admitted that the amount will be refunded in 4 to 5 working days by the refund department.

                  Waiting for your reply at the earliest, Hoping it will be refunded in 4 to 5 working days.

                    Refund Application No [protected] has been made by GOIBIBO, thru which we had done my booking. This Refund application was made in Feb 2021.

                    Payment is still not done for cancellation done in March 2020.

                    Details of My Correspondence with GOIBIBO is as below:

                    1. I Nivedita Rajendra Sukthankar booked a round trip ticket of Air India from Mumbai to Newark and return, thru GOIBIBO in June 2019.

                    Booking ID: TUANP1C90 PNR: JC1Y4

                    AI 191 from Mumbai to Newark on 15.11.2019- I travelled on this date.
                    AI 144 from Newark to Mumbai on 5.05.2020* This was pending.

                    2. *On 9.03.2020 I rescheduled my return journey thru GOIBIBO, by paying additional money for travel on 4.04.2020 thru AI 144, with following details.

                    PNR: JC1Y4 E Tkt No :[protected],[protected]

                    AI 144 from Newark to Mumbai for 04.04.2020 This ticket was not used.

                    3. Due to covid situation i had to prepone above flight on 04.04.2020 to 17.03.2020. but when i contacted GOIBIBO on 16.03.2020. They replied that since you have booked preferred seat thru air lines, we are unable to do it. Hence I had to buy New Ticket thru GOIBIBO for my return journey on 17.03.2020 fro Newark to Mumbai, . I bought it again .

                    Subsequently due to covid all flights were cancelled. I tried to contact GOIBIBO thru their Toll free numbers, which were initially non responsive till may end.

                    Later when i tried on several ocassions, to contact goibibo thru toll free number, which went futile.

                    I also made several emails on their [protected]@goibibo.com, without any result.
                    Due to covid situation also contacting airline may not be useful.

                    I request you guide me to resole my refund issue from GOIBIBO or Airline. I am attaching my original ticket, with my rescheduled ticket for return journey(which was not used.
                    Since i did not got any response, i had complained to National consumer Helpline with complaint No 2501191 dt 13.01.2021.
                    Hoping for your favourable reply. I am attaching all tickets for your reference.

                    Journey completed 15.11.2019 from MUM to EWR
                    Return on 17.03.2020 AI144 from EWR to Mum. Tkt of return journey of original tkt unutilised.

                    Their Reply after severe follow up is as below:

                    Dear Nivedita,

                    We have understood your concern well, as checked status of ticket number[protected] we found that we have already done everything in our capacity and applied for your refund with airline against refund application(RA) number "[protected]" but refund is yet to receive.

                    Airline generally takes 60-90 working days to approve RA however due to high number of refund and rescheduling request with airline they may take more time than expected but there is no need to follow up for refund as we will automatically process it a soon as RA is approved and refund is settled in our account.

                                It's been more than 2 months, I have still not received the cancelation amount of Rs. 1, 45, 581 for the ticket booked with Air India. Due to flight suspension from India to Canada, my flight was cancelled and I was promised a full refund.

                                Every time I call the customer care they say wait for a week and you will definitely receive the refund. The company's policy of 21 days for refund doesn't hold any value. I have lost the trust from this airline. Seems like there is no one to question them and they are taking customer's money for granted.

                                    Dear Air India Team,

                                    This is further with reference to " Non issuance of Refund" for an attempted ticket booking done on 19th March 2021 @ 21:30 hrs IST. The ticket was not issued but the amount of INR 65, 158/- has been debited from the account. PFB the details of the transaction below.

                                      I booked my tickets via air India website, due to certain reasons I had to cancel the tickets. I cancelled the tickets on Apr 27th and its been 2 months and yet to receive my refunds. I have contacted the customer care atleast 5 times trying to follow up but always ended up with no answer.
