My name is Rajesh Sharma and my PNR number is YHZ76. I have received an email from AIR INDIA on 22-Mar-2021 7:54 PM, that my ticket is cancelled due to operational reasons. I want to know when I will receive the refund. My ticket details are as follows.
I am trying to call the toll free number which is on the website, but nobody is responding. The call wait time is high and when my number comes the call is disconnected.

I booked flight tickets for my parents from New Delhi to New York for May 20, 2020 bearing eticket number[protected]. Covid affected the travel plans and we were assured by Air India that they will allow changes/ cancellations without any penalties or extra charge. I called the call center to cancel the tickets in December and I was asked to send a mail. Since December 9, 2020, I have sent numerous mails and have called multiple times, and there is no update on my refund. Each time I call, I am assured that the refund will be processed, and have been given different time lines ranging from 3 days to 6 weeks. It has been over 7 months, and even after raising the matter to AirSewa and escalating to the CEO, there has been ZERO update from their side. I have run out of patience and I do not know what else to do. I am seeking a refund of the tickets I booked. Thank you!

    This is my eTicket number[protected], I have cancelled the ticket by calling the customer support on 30th Apr 2021 but as of now the amount was not refunded.

    Sent multiple email and called customer care but no response and they are not ready to provide escalation email and contact number also.

      I had a confirmed booking for myself to travel from San Francisco to Bangalore and back for 11-May and return on 20-May. My ticket was cancelled because the flight was cancelled. Raised a refund request back in May but never got an acknowledgement or refund.

            I had booked 2 tickets online for my family. one from Guwahati to Coimbatore and the other one to Bengaluru on different dates. during the first nationwide lockdown those were cancelled. After the re opening of airlines services neither i could reschedule nor getting refund even after sending mails and contacting customer care numbers. Finally they are not even answering calls. It's been more than a year. I need an explanation for the poor service and I want immediate refund.

              With reference to the above mentioned subject, I was supposed to travel on 20th May 2020 from Abu Dhabi to Varanasi but the flight was cancelled by Air India coz there was a complete lockdown due to Covid19 .
              Post which refund request was initiated to ecommerce help desk on 18th May 2020 and till date refund is not yet credited back to my account even after repeated reminders and follow-ups. both emails and calls have been made to get my refund back to my account . the matter was also acknowledge by ecommerce help desk but still there is no action for the refund.

              Could you please help me to get my refund back as it's been a more than 12 months

                Dear Sirs,

                Kindly look into above pending refund on the ticket I was supposed to travel and cancelled by Air India for unforeseen situation of cyclone Tauktae. I was told that 3 working weeks shall take in transfering the refund into my account. However, I am still waiting to get my refund.

                  I have purchased 2 Air India round trip tickets for Passenger mentioned below to travel from Ahmedabad to Toronto on 10th June 2020 and Toronto to Ahmedabad on 30th Sept. 2020 with booking reference no. PNR: YBYXL(AI).

                  Due to Covid-19 situation, as a safe measure, I would not prefer my parents to travel and possibility get infected with Covid-19 so I requested cancellatiom of both tickets on February 22nd 2021 which was accepted on same day and replied from air India e-commerce that within 3 to 5 weeks I will get my refund. It has been 17 weeks now since refund request accepted, I still did not receive my refund to credit card which leaves a very poor and irresponsible customer service remark on Air India. I want to submit this complaints against Air India to provide my refund as soon as possible.Â

                    I have been double charged for airtickets by Airindia when I booked tickets online via web portal .I have contacted customer care many times, wrote to e-commerce and contact us and couple of mail IDs..also visited Airindia Kochi office in person .they advised to write to e-commerce team and they are not giving any response to mails .Kindly help me with refund as it is now delayed by 5 months .Case ID with Airindia is - Case ID: 07268372

                    .I have booked ticket via airindia online portal on Jan 5th and the ticket price is deducted twice from my credit card account .I have given copy of credit card statement as well as the ticket details to customer care ..Rs 30, 161 is the ticket cost Airindia charged Rs. 60, 322 from my account .

                        The couple passengers checked in and boarded on time with having boarding pass in hand but the staff of air India Airlines Srinagar, specially Miss Nazia Lateef Manager Commercial of senior Security has stopped and misbehaved with the passengers, there were 3 male staff and this female lady, the male staff was using abusive language with lady passenger Gazala, when lady passenger requested the staff to let them go as they might miss the flight he started pushing and slapping her due to which the lady passenger fell on the ground, still he was using abusive language and when his co passenger came in front and asked not to behave like this he then also scrambled with Mohommed Juber Khan, kicked him and forcefully stopped him and co- passenger for boarding the flight and snatched the Boarding passes too from their hands. This entire incident has been recorded in the cctv camera of the Srinagar airport and many passengers made the video and snapped the pictures too. The staff was continuously misbehaving with the couple passengers for 8 hours. Mohommed juber khan has been harassed and mentally torched by the female staff and the male staff was verbally and physically harassing Gazal manzoor the lady passenger

                        is this is the way air India is welcoming their respected passenger for flights and give services by mentally harassing and defaming them in best way possible by treating them as if they were terrorist. .

                          Dear Sir, 19th June, 2021.
                          My name is Ami Zaveri, and I am parent to VIYAAN ZAVERI (16 yrs.) who travelled from Mumbai to Dehradun on Saturday 19th June 2021 by Flight No. AI-688.
                          This e-mail is regarding his horrid and stressful experience courtesy with Air-India. I am extremely disappointed and shocked with the way in which my teenage son VIYAAN & his 6 teenage friends were treated. When Viyaan & his friends checked in, they informed the staff at the counter that one of their friends could not travel, so they did not need his boarding pass. The staff replied saying that it was ok to keep the boarding pass. The staff then completed the check in of their baggage and asked the boys to proceed to the designated departure gate. After the kids settled in their seats in the aircraft, a few attendants from Air India approached them and asked them to pay Rs 3, 200 as their luggage was 80kg which was 5kg overweight. When the kids denied paying as they were sure that their baggage weight was not excess, the attendants threatened to deplane the kids. This is unprofessional & irresponsible as:
                          1. The luggage was not overweight
                          2. This issue should have been dealt at the check in counter rather than in the aircraft before takeoff.
                          The children were also harassed about having the extra boarding pass. After the help of fellow passengers and long arguments they were not deplaned neither were they made to pay for the so-called overweight of baggage.
                          But their horribly disgusting experience had still not ended, as they were again harassed by Mr. Rajneesh Sharma (Air India employee at Dehradun Airport) to pay Rs 3, 200. After further arguments of 2 hours, the children forced the staff to weigh their luggage, and guess what, the 7 bags of 7 children weighed total 77kg. The actual allowance being 175kg. So now technically are we entitled to get an amount of Rs 62, 720 as refund (being 98kg underweight)
                          I later came to find out that the extremely irresponsible & negligent staff of Air India made a silly mistake, they put 77 kg baggage weight on 3 passengers and 0 kg on the other 4 passengers. This behavior of the staff of Air India put my teenage son and his friends through a lot of mental agony and stress.
                          I made my son travel by Air India because it was supposedly a reliable and responsible airline. I thought he would reach safely as the children did not have any adult accompanying them. But to my surprise this was a very horrendous and dreadful experience.
                          The lack o[censored]nderstanding and empathy on your end is totally unprofessional. Truly you live up to your tag line “Unbeatable Service”, but for all the wrong reasons.
                          I hope the necessary action against this irresponsible and negligent staff is taken and they are meted out with deserving punishments.

                            Hello,

                            I had booked my ticket to the US with Air India. My flight was scheduled to fly on 7th May, but it was canceled because of the US flight ban due to COVID-19.

                            The flight was canceled on May 3rd. It has been 57 days since cancellation and my refund request has still not been processed by the Airline.

                            My ticket was booked through MakeMyTrip, which says that the airline is not granting any refund requests at all, and I need to deal with the airline directly. I have called the Air India customer support helpline countless times, written them emails, tweeted to them, but to no avail. They keep saying that it is under process on the call, ask me to write emails, and they have NEVER responded to my email.

                            My ticket number is 098-[protected]. The flight was DEL-ORD-PIT.

                            I am a student planning to go study in the United States, and the pending refund amount is huge (more than ₹70000) which is causing my financial distress and anxiety since I have no money to re-book my flight for August.

                            My humble request to Air India is to please grant me my refund. A customer should not be made to beg for their hard earned money from a giant corporate like yours, when you did not even deliver the services that you were supposed to. The flight was cancelled by you, not me. Please refund my money to me, I am in dire need of it.

                            Still no response. I have been chasing them on twitter and they pay no heed to my concerns. The same response is just sent to me over and over again. I have been robbed for ₹70, 000 and this is the kind of responses they send to me when I ask for it back (see screenshot).

                              The cancellation ticket against the E-Ticket[protected] was received from AirIndia coz of Covid scenario. Post which refund request was initiated on 23rd Aug 2020 and till date refund is not issued even after repeated reminders and follow up. Both emails and calls have been made to get the refund. The matter was also escalated but still there is no action for the refund. Kindly help with the refund.

                                  When I reached hotel.. I found that my bag was damaged and 450$+150Drhms missing from my bag. They broked chain lock of bag. This is very bad and sad experience for me with Air India...

                                    A flight had been booked with Air India vide LOCATOR/CONTROL NO.:Y0V1W from Delhi to Birmingham Flight NO AI 1117 journey date 5th February 2021.Ticket Number : [protected], [protected]
                                    Sector booked/travelled : Delhi-Birmingham
                                    The said flight had been canceled by Air India due to operational reasons. We thereafter booked another flight with Air India from Delhi to Heathrow airport London for 4th March 2021
                                    We have requested the Manager E-commerce as evident from the several e-mails for a refund. You may appreciate an inordinate delay (as more than four) has been done in the refund. And the issue has now become an embarrassing matter.

                                      I am on work visa and was planning to travel as my leaves got finished, so I called the air india airlines as only they are taking travelers to Dubai during this pandemic. So they said that as I have Emirates ID and work visa, I can travel to Dubai if I get a entry permit approval from DGCA, so I did that and fortunately got the approval and then I booked my ticket from Indore to Dubai. And on the day of travel at the indore airport, they issued me boarding pass till delhi and said that international boarding pass will be provided at Delhi airport, So I thought if I would not be allowed to travel Dubai then my ticket will be a waste, so I called the airlines customer service to confirm about my travel and I said everything and provided every document I had and they u r eligible to travel Dubai and there will be no issue…U can board the flight from indore without any doubt. So I did that but at Delhi airport they refused to give me boarding pass and said that I am not allowed to travel to Dubai…So I went to the airlines supervisor and complained about everything, he said that u can’t go ahead, so for a proof I called the customer service in front of him and asked the same thing which I asked before booking the ticket and they said yes u can travel…then the supervisor said that they are proceeding wrong information, we are sorry, it blew my mind…My whole ticket got wasted and rather giving me any refund they just said reschedule the ticket and I have to pay the rescheduling fees….waste of money..and I have to book my return ticket to indore which was another waste..if they would have provided me the right information then I would not have travelled from indore itself. So I want my refund.

                                        We were traveling from Newark Airport USA to Indira Gandhi airport Delhi on the 15th and then had an interconnecting flight to Mumbai on the 16th after we landed. Minutes before we checked in our baggage they told us that the flight has been cancelled and we have been rescheduled for a domestic flight which would leave 2 hours later than our previous scheduled time. No compensation, remuneration or even apologetic behavior was displayed for the same and when we tried to raise a complaint against it, the extremely rude female staff at the baggage check in counter for Air India blamed it conveniently o COVID while failing to acknowledge their own ignorance. Extremely unprofessional and rude behavior. Perhaps the worst airline. Also, besides this, the international flight that we travelled from was extremely unprofessional. The flight was extremely dirty, the cabin crew was extremely rude and never gave any assistance when asked for the same. Overall, terrible experience and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.
