I have booked flight from Canada to India on Apr 11, 2020. But flight got cancelled due to lock down. I have contacted the agent(cheapoair) and AirIndia multiple times but not received refund till now.

    I had got my ticket cancelled in the Month of Dec 2020 and have not got any refund yet.

      I had cancelled my booking with Air India. It has been more than a month since cancellation and I have still not received my refund. Below are the details of my ticket:

      Origin and Destination: Bengaluru to Frankfurt

      Booked through: cleartrip.com
      Cancelled on: 29.04.2021

      Please expedite the process so that the refund is processed as soon as possible. I have attached a picture of the email I received from cleartrip regarding this matter.

        Booked round trip tickets on December 4, 2020.Had to cancel due to date error.Cancelled by a customer executive within 2, 3 hours of booking.Still haven't received any refund.Whenever I call customer care, they said it was refunded on February 18 according to their system but my bank statement from February to June shows no credited amount from air India.

          Hi
          I am Sansar Suryavansh, my bookings with AIR INDIA with Eticket and PNR as:[protected]YXZLG) (delhi to dehradun - 29 apr 21)were cancelled by me online through customer care on 29 Apr 21.

          It has been more than 39 days and I haven't got any refund.

          It is requested to initiate refund to the original card. It is very UNPROFESSIONAL process that customers are subjected to.

          I have called customer care many times and send mails at least 10 times but air india customer care just don't care about refunds

            I booked a Flight Ticket with Air India on 17th March '21 for travel on 30th April'21 for my wife's & daughter's (infant) travel. I am following up with Air India since April 2021 for the refund of my cancelled trip (Flight unoperational as provided by their customer care executive - Niharika & Manish -senior official). Never get any proper response from their mail Id except automatic replies and re-routing Complaint from one Table to another saying send the email to this email id than to another.
            Case ID: 09303339, 09418200, 09404429, 09401096, 09400872... there are so many case ID when I logged compliant
            I posted Tagging their twitter account.
            Had also raised online feedback request for whichever email provided and I could search on Google.

            It would be great if same is processed at the earliest from Air India as I have been waiting almost 37 days to get this partial refund back. Now, if I don't hear anything concrete from Air India I will have to route to Consumer Court & their Social Media Portal - Facebook / Twitter.

              My flight tickets were cancelled in February 21, 2021 with airlines directly.Since the tickets were booked via Goibibo, a cancellation request has been raised with Goibibo too. Now I am chasing for my refund with the Airlines, they keep procrastinating and giving me false timeline. Goibibo on the other hand has denied my refund saying there is no refund applicable on your ticket. At the time of cancellation, Airlines had confirmed refund amount would be around 8k+. If there was no refund applicable, why would I cancel me tickets?

                  I am following up with airindia since December 2020 for the refund of my cancelled trip. Never get any reply from their mail Id. Twitter DM is also misguiding. Had also raised online feedback request "WB-DBOM[protected]" which got closed without any response.

                    I booked 2 tickets bearing PNR HTKDJ from London to Kolkata via Flipkart, But I could not avail the same due to cancellation of flight service between the UK and India. I, however, rescheduled the flight but this time too (E-TICKET NUMBER:[protected], EXCHANGE TICKET:[protected]; E-TICKET NUMBER:[protected], EXCHANGE TICKET:[protected], it was not possible for me to make the journey as prior to commencement of the journey, I tested Covid positive. I spoke to Air India about this and they told me to get my refund from my agent, Flipkart. But according to Flipkart, they tried to get the refund from Air India but was unsuccessful as the airline rejected the same. And now Flipkart is asking me for some evidence stating I am entitled to a full refund as the transcript between me and the airlines wasn't enough. And now I am unable to get a hold of the airline because they are neither answering my call nor my email.

                      My flight Air India got cancelled due to operational reasons, and i had given request on 22nd April 2021, & again on 4th May 2021 for the refund and still there is no communication from Air India till now. When called customer care last week they told we have forwarded Refund Application [protected] for 098-[protected] to Air India on 28 April Request you to please intervene and get it resolved. Below is the ticket details.

                        I had contacted Air India customer care number on 4 May 21 for cancellation of two tickets.
                        1) PNR 'YXZWG' containing ticket nos[protected],[protected],[protected] and[protected].
                        2) PNR 'J521N' containing ticket nos[protected],[protected],[protected] and[protected].
                        Since, then I have called on the customer care number many times. I have also sent many emails & reminders to Air India for information regarding cancellation charges and refund. No body gives a reply. It has been more than a month and no refund has been received. Every Air India representative provides a new Email ID to contact. I send a mail and of course no reply/solution is received.

                            So I booked my ticket through ixigo, and because of rising cases of COVID-19, I canceled the ticket 1 month before the date of travel still I was charged heavily for cancellation on the partially refundable fare type.
                            and then I was refunded just rs753 on the payment of Rs.14133 for booking.

                              Eticket #[protected] bought on 02 March 2020 for a onward and return journey to Stockholm from Kolkata and back on 10 July and 24 July 2020. Due to outbreak of Covid 19 this journey could not take place. Air India extended a period till 31st December 2021 by sending an email.
                              This year I enquired in March if I can fly in July 2021 to the same destination and I came to know that no flight of Air India is operating in any of the Scandinavian countries and therefore I requested for cancellation of the above ticket and refund of ticket full price through an email to [protected]@airindia.in as per advice of the customer care operator on 20.03.2021.
                              As on date neither I received any response from AIR INDIA nor the money was refunded after 15 months of purchasing ticket and more than 2 months after requesting for cancellation and refund.
                              I want immediate response from AIR INDIA regarding this matter.

                                  More than 13 months have passed, and yet no refund and Air India is still 'sitting' on our money as is the case with many other people despite repeated requests.Two tickets were booked to the US on 15th Feb., 2020 before the lockdown was announced, for onward/return travel on 12th Apr. 2020/17th May, 2020, .

                                    Booked a ticket for Rs 4993/- through Ease My Trip for DEL-BLR by Air India to travel on 23.08.2020.

                                    This ticket was cancelled on 18.08.2020 but the refund has been received only Rs 437/- however it would have been min Rs 3000/-

                                    I have been following with the agency i.e. Easemytrip as well as with Air India Customer Care since the last 8 months but in vain.

                                    Air India customer care says - get in touch with the agency and the agency says that they have been trying but not unable to get any response from Air India.

                                      E TKTS[protected] & 30 DT 5.2.21 were cancelled on 24TH FEB vide AUTHO 029741 . YR agent said REFUND would come in 21 DAYS .
                                      emails were NOT responded.
                                      Again yr executives were contacted on 9th Apr . Then I was told to approach ecommerce . That was done . Again REFUND has NOT yet been RECEIVED .

                                        Did not get refund for failed transaction

                                        On 20th March 2021, I booked a ticket to fly from London to Delhi. The transaction failed the first time and succeeded the second time. But I was charged twice while I got only one ticket.
                                        I tried calling Air India 3 times for getting my refund of 372 Pounds. Each time, I got a different answer. I filed a ticket through Air India feedback. I got an automatic acknowledgement. But no response.
