I had Booked a ticket on Air India on 27 July 2021 (Confirmation attached) for Delhi to Hyderabad (31 July 2021, 9:55 am).
Due to unforeseen circumstances, I had to reschedule my booking date to 7 Aug 2021.
Intimated by the website to call the customer care for rescheduling (all airlines have this feature in their website itself). (1 Free reschedule is possible 12 hrs before the departure ).
I called customer care well in advance for the same only to be mentally harassed and put on hold. Due to the incompetence and unsatisfactory attitude, I was put on hold for more than 5 hours causing my free reschedule option to become invalid.
In addition to this, there was no way for me to reschedule my flight as I kept getting transferred and hung up by the substandard and poor behaviour of the staff.
This resulted in the cancellation of the ticket to save whatever amount I could.

Mental harassment and torture for a day in addition to monetary loss of 10000 due to incompetence by airline staff.
I still have not received my cancellation refund (more than 24 hrs have passed).

Have also put up multiple emails but no response by Air India staff.

    I booked a two way flight from US to India.
    When I was in India the return flight got cancelled due to covid.
    When the flight was cancelled I reached customer case twice for refund but didn't get any refund its been 3 months now.

    Date of issue: 03 March 2021

    Return flight Date:- 12th May 2021

    Total fare paid for round trip:- $853.09

      I canceled my flight to India on April 26th 2021, but haven't received a refund yet.

      The flight was scheduled to depart on May 6th, 2021 from Newark to Bangalore with a layover in New Delhi.

      The flight was booked via BudgetAir, and I have attached the ticket details below. Airline reference: 2UQ8WK

      PS: The ticket conditions specify that I should get a refund of the amount which I paid minus a 165$ cancellation fee.

        My flight was cancelled due to bad weather. PNR - HLKD2. E-ticket no.[protected].
        I reached out to booking agency from where I booked my flight but they said Air India rejected my refund request and marked me as no show.

        I have a proof and refund note from airlines itself stating that they will refund my full amount.

        I don't know what to do in this case.
        Now I'm done and don't want to waste my time anymore with their pathetic customer service.

          We booked business class, for me and my wife from Bangalore to Sanfrancisco. Due to pandemic flights have been rescheduling.This should be free of additional cost but air India charged, for their rescheduling from 5 August to 12 August. PNR Y10B9. Must refund to Travel agent as DGCA has given guide lines not to collect Rescheduling charges. Air India is the worst in customer care

            I am waiting for refund of ₹ 6164 to be received in my account for the cancelled flight by airindia due to covid.

            I booked a flight on 18th Mar 2020 and The ref number of transaction is[protected]

            My travel date was 22nd March 2020 (Goa - Mumbai) and the flight was cancelled from Air India only.

            I have sent almost 20 plus mails for follow up but they keep saying they have refunded the amount but i have not recieved amount in my bank account.

            The last reply i got from airindia is to check with my bank:
            "With reference to your below mail, we want to inform you that as we checked your ticket PNR:Z942L status it's showing refunded on 08th September 2020 with refund reference number [protected]D7. So kindly get in touch with your bank."

            When i contacted my bank HDFC ( they said they have raised request with airindia to give details). its been 2-3 months since HDFC is waiting for reply.

            Its been almost 1 year 4 months now since the flight was cancelled.

            I recieved refund on same day when airindia announced its taken over by Tata. Hope the service will be better now. It took 2 years to process the refund by Airindia.

              Two days back i booked a ticket from air India website, due to certain issues i had to immideatly reschedule the date and post pone it for one day. There was no such service on the website nor was the cancellation option working. I called up customer care several times and every time they would take my details and put me on hold for 1 hour or even more. I have been trying to contact them on Twitter, however no response whatsoever. These are ways of cheating the consumer and causing acute distress.

              Just see the images and check the amount of time am spending on hold with this company. Such distress is being caused to me. This is nothing less than mental harassment.

                Air India allowed one extra luggage for international students.So many times asked to Air India customer centre, all staff told no extra charge in whole journey. Journey Ticket references no Z504P. Date of journey was 05.07.21 from Mumbai to RDU. Mumbai to EWR by AirIndia flight .From EWR to RDU by Jetblue. But Jetblue charged $150 for that extra luggage which was given wrong information by AirIndia.So, that I demand that amount.

                  Dears,

                  I clearly mentioned in call and told in mail and replied asking about how much you will refund for the ticket. No information/Reply to my mail but when i called back your team says a refund of 700 Rupees is done which is NOK.

                  WHy would i cancel the Ticket and lose 3500 Rupees. I never recived terms and all for this ticket after making it open. Please check all your call logs this is not ok. Please tell me next steps. I am not in india also to do regular followup. I already called 5 to 6 times spending 1 hour just waiting and no response at all.

                          I purchased a round-trip flight ticket on Air India for travel from San Franciso to Delhi for $2930. I requested for a return date change [free due to covid] to March 30 from the original date April 9. The agent changed it to 03/18/21 [almost the same date of me calling]. I received the ticket so late for me to realize they changed it to 03/18 instead of 03/30. I called them several times but no response because it is not possible to fly immediately. Just a few hours before the flight time, air india changed it back to the requested date of 03/30. However, they charged me 2 change fees $300.75 and $100.75 for change within 24 hours and no-show fees. Though I contacted them multiple times, no response. I disputed with the bank [bank of america], they are not able to help either as they entered wrong claim code in the system and won't be able to correct it. As a result, I'm unnecessarily charged $402 for Air India's error. Refund my $402.

                            I was supposed to fly on the 31st of March 2020 from Milan to Delhi and from Delhi to Coimbatore. I have a return ticket coming back on the 29th of April 2020 same way.
                            The flight was canceled by Air India and I have been calling the customer service numbers many times. I have sent many emails and never received the reimbursement or a reply.
                            Air India told me that payment was made in October but it never reached my credit card or bank account. I have request to investiva on where the funds were sent but nothing happened.

                            I request an immediate refund as this matter is longer than a year.

                              Refund against tickets booked for Flight no.                                 I have purchased a connecting flight ticket from Bhopal to chandigarh via New Delhi. Scheduled ticket is from Bhopal to Delhi on 4th August at 10 pm and then connecting flight from Delhi to chandigarh on 5th August at 5.45 am. Today I got a message that flight of 5th August is rescheduled to 6th August. But I am unable to change my travel plan and I want to perform the connecting journey on 5th August it self in morning hrs. On portal I have seen a alternate flight at 6.40 am and want to travel by this flight in case of reschedulement other wise wants to take refund for journey from Delhi to chandigarh.
                                To resolve this problem I called customer care number on 3 occasions. On each occasion Representative enquare the full details but unable to resolved the problem and forward the call to next desc where no body picks the call even waiting for 30 minutes. This was repeated 3 times and even wasting 2 hrs could not get any resolution.

                                    Dear Sir/Madam,
                                    I want to inform you I was booked flight from India to paris one way on 23april2020. But because of corona my flight was cancelled. So I was applied for money return thru email and my travel agent ( Make my Trip ) I got email from air India they asking me RA number on 23 January 2021 . So I was given to them on 29 June 2021 . I didn’t receive any refund from last 1 year and 3 months .
                                    I am totally disappointed.

                                      Hi Team

                                      It has been almost 3 months and still no refund has been made by Air India.
                                      The flight of mine from Delhi to Helsinki via Frankfurt was cancelled by Air India.

                                      Talked to multiple customer care and every time they say it will get a refund in the next 7 days and still no action.

                                      Can you refund it? Otherwise I need to go to the consumer forum against it.

                                        I had tried to book AirIndia multicity flight tickets online from LHR to DEL and Return BOM to LHR and made payment of GBP 456.67 through HSBC UK VISA Credit Card **** **** **** 3989 through online payment gateway on at Billdesk.com IN No dated[26/07/2021], but tickets are not booked and amount has been deducted. Got BillDesk Error ( Reason : Sorry! We are unable to process your transition ). kindly refund the amount as soon as possible....
