      I booked a two way ticket in Dec 2019 to travel in July 2020 from Doha to kannur. But due to pandemic flights were cancelled and meanwhile i lost my job in doha and repatriated back to kannur on Aug by Indigo flight. From june i am sending mails to customer care Air india express about refund but the reply comes as change your travel plan suggestion when i say i lost my job & returned. So they are not reading our mails just copy paste a standard reply and sending.
      Please arrange for refund immediately

        I had booked a flight on 6th July 2020 from Chennai to Singapore but unfortunately due to covid-19 situation, I couldn't travel. After sending so many emails and follow up calls to call centre they have been no progress. I have even tried escalating to Nodal Officer, to which never got any response. Here I am taking one more step to get back my hardened money.

              Dear sir/madam,

              This is to inform you that i had tried to book an air ticket in the name of my spouse "rajani" from mangalore to dubai on 21st october 2020. While booking the flight ticket, there was a technical error in the process as an amount of inr 11, 010.12 /- deducted from our bank account but i didn't receive any information regarding the ticket confirmation. I request to refund the money (I. E. Inr11, 010.12/-) as required as i have already book the new ticket for the same above travel itinerary. Please find the below pnr numbers which i have tried to book tickets two times for your reference.

                Dear sir/madam,

                I have booked a ticket for me and my family to travel from ccj to auh and auh to ccj (Booking reference number: yrpzll). Due to covid-19 outbreak i am forced to cancel the ticket and i apply for cancellation and refund on 12th march 2020. I am informed that i will get the money back within 14 working days.

                I did not receive my refund and i have contacted air india express via call center and email continuously several times. Till now i haven't received my refund. Every time the customer care advises me to wait 1 week and call back but nothing happens.

                I am getting the same message saying it under processing but no time frame.

                Kindly do the need ful and arrange to provide my refund asap

                  I had booked a flight ticket with air india express for my sister in law to travel from chennai to singapore vide booking ref pnr: blzljd to travel on 05.05.2020. Unfortunately due the pandemic situation the airlines had cancelled the flight which was scheduled on this day. Later on the guest travelled by an repatriated air india flight on 21st may 2020.
                  As the air india express did not refund the cancelled flight ticket amount, i started corresponding to the customer care from 16th may 2020 and till now at least ten mails have been written to the airlines and for each mail a standard auto reply “we are experiencing very high email and call volumes and seek your understanding and patience.” only have been received. As this was not the answer for my refund issue, i had sent an email to the next level of grievance handling person “the nodal officer”. Let alone any reply, there was not even any acknowledgement for my email dtd. 22nd july 2020. As there was no response from this responsible person of air india express, i sent an email on 24th aug 2020 to the next level of this grievances handling person ”the appellate”. These two higher level officers have proved that, they are from a public sector unit which is a government agency and do not have time to bother on these kind of issues!
                  It is nearing six months now and still the airlines has not bothered to refund the cancelled flight ticket amount. And this is how the government agencies in india have made big haul of money during the pandemic from the people who are severely hit financially. It is high time that, the honourable courts in india should register a suo moto cases against these government agencies for this day light robbery. I am taking up this issue with the ministry of civil aviation, govt of india for speedy disposal of this issue.

                    I have booked my tickets from mumbai to dubai dated 28th october 2020 (Pnr nczjoo) booking is in the name of mustafa vohra. Now i have received an email that due to covid19 situation flight is not operational and i can change my travel dates.
                    Do you think its easy to change the travel dates when we have pre planned everything our return flight and hotel is already booked. So who will bear all those expenses will air india express bear this all expenses. If you are not sure about your flight operations then why the hell you take bookings. And your customer care guys are saying that if i cancel my tickets than i will have to pay 2500 per passenger, why the hell should i pay cancellation charges if your flights are not operational.
                    I require my full amount to be refunded i will not bear cancellation charges for your mistake.

                      Hi,
                      I have cancelled my tickets since march 14, 2020 due to covid pandemic, but even after 7 months air india has not updated on my refund status. They are not responding to my mails even.

                                    I had cancelled my booking (# BVPNJV) on Air India Express on 8 March 2020. After deducting penalties and other charges they are supposed to pay back 36, 834/- to my account. However it has been 6 months and after multiple intimations they have not bothered to give back my money. Complaint was raised to [protected]@airindiaexpress.in and [protected]@airindiaexpress.in several times.

                                      My family planning to travel 19/08/2020 ccj to auh. Wife and daughter ok to board but unfortunately son not ok to board. Family is waiting 4 hrs in airport api mail not yet receive.
                                      After your team said please contact api center abudhabi. After i will contact api toll free no api team said please contact your airline team. So clear air india express mistake. I need clarity for api before rescheduling my flight.
                                      Kindly advise.

                                        Hello, i’ve been waiting for my refund from air india express since long. I’ve dropped couple of mails to aix, but they keep on telling that it’ll be credit to the source account in a couple of days. But refund isn’t happening. I cancelled my ticket on 14th july 2020 and was informed by customer care over call that credit will happen in two weeks of time. I even received the cancellation details over mail. Aix seems to be not reachable over mail and call. Their call centre is never reachable.
                                        same here, had cancelled ticket in 8 mar 2020 much before lock down, still to get back money
