It is really a big shock to know that now airports are also not safe for the passengers and their baggages.On 3rd April I got down at Calicut but I didn't get my baggages on that particular day.After calling and complaining a lot of times they responded.I got my baggages on 10th but I was shocked to see that my bag was tore and all expensive things were taken away. All those things and gifts I bought for my sister who was going to get married but couldn't give her all those things.I am very disappointed to see being Indians they do this.Kindly do the needful. thank you.
Hi Every Body its so shameful for the AIR INDIA EXPRESS staff and the Airways for being rude and cheating to all the passengers who travel and faced problems, they miss use them, and try to make money those who travel in this Airways, their electronic weigh machine has been set to a difference of 10kkgs to charge the passengers for access luggage, more over traveling so far passenger needs some entertainment taking advantage of this they try to sell headphones in the aircraft just putting a movie of their choice which is not even visible clearly because it very high above the head of each passengers, and very faded quality since each TV is for 2 passengers, and the food they provided is not even worth for animals to eat, in spite of this they sell whiskeys and alcohol too as a business in the aircraft, the seats are so worst which cannot even lean back, there are no perfect timings for this airways and could be canceled at anytime and they don’t provide refund too, as per schedule earlier there were 2 flights in a week which is reduced to 1 flight a week now, and at the last movement timing can be changed without any knowledge, and the flights are early morning from Mangalore international airport which is so inconvenient for the passengers to travel so early about 4AM to report the airport at least 2 hours before departure, they know well there are no other fights expect Air India express taking advantage of this they harass the travelers and they are forced to travel in this stupid Airlines as they have no alternatives I wish and request all not to encourage this kind of Airlines and try to avoid using worst airways, i also wonder why there are no other Airlines from Mangalore Airport instead of this worst Air India Express fights, where even the color and the picture on flight that shows how funny as if its like a coach of Folk Dance carriage (Yaksha Gana)

    I would like to post a complaint against Air India Express on the troubles my family had gone through when they were flying from Kozhikode to Bahrain on Air India Express flight IX473 on 29th August 2008.

    PNR number IX03612850 and passenger names are Leeba Balachandran (my wife) and Parvathi Prajeesh (my daughter)

    I have made web booking (on confirm basis) well in advance and e-tickets were issued. But when reached the airport to check-in, the staff informed that they don't have seats available and kept my family waiting for more than an hour at the counter. No one even bothered to notice that there is a 3 ½ year old baby – my daughter – is also there while doing so.

    Later the staff has come up with an idea of allocating one seat – though Air India has collected the payment for two seats – and wanted my wife to sign a paper stating the same.

    And finally boarding pass issued and when they board the plane there were seats available and they were provided with two seats.

    I sent a mails to Air India Express Calicut and customer care contacts (emails: [protected]@airindiaexpress.in & [protected]@airindiaexpress.in) both messages returned undelivered showing some error.

    I still await for an explanation on this from the Airline.

    Air India Express Airline — Utterly disorganised unit

    This is regarding the flight delayed for 12 hours IX 383 from Manglore to Dubai on 22nd Oct, 2009.

    No wonder this airline is in deep . Because they have a bunch of jokers who are utterly disorganise, lack simple co-ordination and are zero on service.
    The passengers were stranded for 12 hours at the airport with no proper information, passed and then locked from one room to another. What did they thought we were there to holiday at the airport with family and kids.?
    Few missed their day salary, others missed important meetings/seminar. My family and kids felt sick. To add to that, the toilets were stinking and unhygienic. The whole experience was sickening. We blame the airlines for this. Yes , i forgot there was lunch. 12 hours and one piece of meal ?, some didn't even had that. Why were we not diverted to Dubai via Mumbai.
    And all the ground staff was doing was passing the buck onto others. "They are late, they gave us this information, the problem is from their side", these kind o[censored]nprofessional excuses. What happened to service. There were babies, kids , elderly people among the stranded passengers .
    I am not requesting, but demanding and as I had purchased the ticket I am entitled for an explanation, compensation and those accountable should be taken to task for troubles we had. Why we have to pay for the mistakes that happens in your organisation.

    Indian Airlines — confirmed seats being given away.

    i was not able to beleive that my confirmed seats where given away by saying the flight is closed, the flight was delayed by 1 hour.
    flight ic686 firstly took off from the international airport and was delayed on the 15th oct morning by an hour so i was at the airport at 5 cause i landed up going to the domestic unaware that this flight takes off from the international airport. since the flight was delayed i was there with my family an hour and a half early so still technically i was there on time and now i have been told by my agent the airline listed us as no show and we cant even get any refund which the airline representaitve said we would get when they diont give us a seat on the flight.

    how can i take this complain further and to which authority can i address this to

    A similar incident happened to me yesterday, My wife had booked a E ticket (Delhi-Mumbai) for me on 3rd Dec for the Flight schedule to depart on 24th from International Terminal 2, New Delhi. The Flight is IX 143 scheduled to depart at 19:20 hrs . I reached the airport at Delhi at 16:30 & stood in the queue for the boarding pass. I was shocked to find that my name did not appear on the screen . They took my ticket for checking the details & I had to wait for almost 50 minutes .

    Afterwards they came out with a printout which showed that my ticket had been cancelled . I told them that I had a confirmed ticked & could in no way cancell my ticket as I had to make it to Mumbai the same day . I am strongly of the opinion that the Airport staff had themselves cancelled my ticket . The cancellation print out did not have any cancellation date nor time .

    I had to exit from the Airport & take a ticket costing Rs. 15800 from the Domestic terminal .The PNR details of the ticket is IX06347385.
    I am trying to reach the the complaint department at 22020022, but no one is answering the call.
    Agree with you i am having booking for tomorrow 4th Jan 2010 and sent email yesterday to [protected]@airindiaexpress.in for the re-schedule of the flight to 19th Jan 2010 and till now no one acknowledge or revert on the same. I am trying to contact them from 1 hr and I kept for long hold and got one lady on [protected] and she gave me other number[protected] Air india International and that is for Air India International she said i have to contact another number for AirIndia Express and that is an invalid phone number[protected]She asked my location and i said i am at Delhi and she gave me this number). Neither this number works with Gurgaon code nor Delhi code.
    Finally I am again calling the first number [protected] and again on long hold and no one here to respond my call.

    I sent second email today to [protected]@airindiaexpress.in; [protected]@airindiaexpress.in and I am not sure if i will get any response from them. Still I am following with them with no acknowledgment in hand so sad about Airndia Express.

    Thanks if they read this message they can clarify the same at +91-[protected] or +91-[protected] and i can show them my next month bill for the long wait on their numbers in case they want the proof and emails are still in my outbox.

    A similar incident happened to me on 13th of Feb, 2010, I had booked an E ticket (DXB-LKO-DXB ) for me on 30th of jan, 2010 for the Flight schedule to depart on 13th of feb from Lucknow. The Flight was IX 193A scheduled to depart at 02:25 hrs, after third Reshchedule . I reached the airport at Lucknow at 11:00 P.M. & stood in the queue for the boarding pass, which I got issued. I was shocked to find that the inbound flight from Dubai could not land due to fog.I was kept uninformed of the flight status till 14th morning to be told to report on 14th at 10:00 a.m.After several arguments with the incompetent Air India Express Ground Staff, i was finally told that the flight will depart LKO only at 14.30 hrs.we passed the night without any attention by the airline staff and without offering any courtesy to even provide water, needless to talk of the hotel arrangements.Moreover, i recieved my luggage from Dubai only after a week.I want air india express to compensate whatever i am entitled to.

    kindly note that air india didnt care about anything. basically they have uneducated staff who don;t know how to work in this sector. that;s why other airlines are coming uo. i would like do advice you people better send register mails instead of email if no reply you file a case in consumer count. lot of people think that it is waste of time and money but if we not fight back in future many people will face similar problem.
    today i made a transaction on line booking i diidnt receive any e ticketthrough email i need to print the ticket please send me now.passenger is traveling from abudhabi to thiruvantapuram on 14 march his e ticket no is IX 12805706. reference no is 06169526 pnr is ix06997298. please me through e mail. passenger name MURALEEDHARAN NAIR PP NO E33345330 D O B IS 20/5/1972.
    i faced the same problem on 31st october, IC 866 from Goa to Delhi. they said someone else has gotyour seat. when i said hwcome.. the lady there Mrs Usha said... some one might be lucky, u manage someother flight, due to which i missed my other connecting flights..

    did u get any help to sort out this chaotic issue

      I made on-line booking using my SBI Credit card [protected] on 23.5.07 for return trip to Colombo by Air India for Mr. Pranav Dheeraj Gundlapalle (my son). The ref number is PNR IXO 1729226

      I had cancelled the booking on 31st May. I understand from SBI Cards that they are not in receipt of refund for the cancellation.

      Details of the booking:

      Due to problem in computer (browser) I had entered twice. I understand from
      SBI Cards that two claims have been preferred.

      The two RF Numbers are RF 00901278 & RF 00901463 each for Rs 6350
      each. Whereas RF 00901278 failed, RF 00901463 resulted in PNR IXO 1729226
      and I got the excess debit rectified in June. In July I received the credit for
      cancelled ticket - Rs 6,350. However, I am surprised that another debit was raised in August towards the transaction.

      Air India had demanded for cancellation charges of Rs 635 and was paid by me.

      I am yet to get the refund money from Air India.

      I went along with my husband to enquire about the formalities in sending my son alone. As the security opened the door, I approached one of your staff. She told me to wait for my turn. After sometime she was telling her security to come and sit in her place to work. This was an insult to us and we return back. Please inform your staff to behave properly atleast in front of your customer. She can atleast tell us that the time is over and you can come tomorrow.
