Dear team - i understand you are facing very high volumes but it’s a month i have been waiting for my refund on the cancelled tickets - there seems to be no end to my wait - can i know the date by when the credits will be made available.

    I cancelled my ticket in air india express on may 25 i got mail fro air india express stating will be refund in 7-8 days, but its been more days now i didnt get refund yet. When i mailed them many times i am not getting any reply from them, kindly do the needful
    same here, cancelled on 8th March 2020, yet to get any money. Please raise complaint in http://www.consumerhelpline.gov.in/ as well

        My tickets have been auto cancelled by air india express and i followed by nearly 23 emails but i am not getting proper response from air india express on my refund amount. Kindly escalate and do the needful. I am unable to contact customer care services via phone.

          Status :- confirmed...!
          I got no message or email whether this flight is cancelled or not..
          I booked the flight for 24.03.2020... While the govt. Allowed the flight to reach delhi before midnight.
          And your airlines booked the tickets and cancelled the flight and did not even inform.
          But when i called customer care they told me that today this flight is cancelled.. And i will not get refund..
          If this flight is cancelled by airlines itself.. Why won't i get refund..?
          And why your airlines didn't inform me about the cancellation..?
          I paid rs 12000 aprx for this flight
          And no intimation whether this flight is operational or not.?
          Please look into this matter and process my full refund..!

              I booked a ticket from auh to ixe through a credit card. I was unable to travel because air india cancelled the flight. They said full refund will be made to the same card which was used at the time of booking. Thinking that i did not paid to the bank and now the bank has charged me late fee because air india made partial payment only and that too very late.

              Below is the travel info.

              Total cost: aed 1006.06
              Refunded amount: aed 702.46
              Remaining amount: aed 303.60
              Bank charged me late fee plus tax: aed 466.54

                Hi above is the details for my refund. I had submitted it on 10th march. On the same day i was informed by your staff that i will receive the refund in about 3 weeks.
                On 29th march, i was informed via email that i will be refunded by mid april.
                It is mid may now, more than 2 months since the request for refund. My follow up emails have gone unanswered.
                Do process the refund at the earliest. It is tough times for me. The cash is essential for me. I had received my refund from other airlines within 18 days even though they are in the same situation as all o[censored]s.

                    Dear sir,
                    Please refund my air ticket fee since the flight has been cancelled.
                    Booking ref: gceeaq
                    I have booked airticket on april, 2020 for the travel date of 4th may, 2020.
                    But flight has been cancelled due to covid 19 travel restrictions in india.
                    Hence as per government guidelines please refund the full amount asap since i have canceled the booking.
                    Or else issue a voucher to rebook on the next available schedule.

                      I have request to cancel my both tickets ;- 1st one on 11th march 2020 (Pnr: ykilld) and 2nd one 24th march 2020 (Pnr: jgifqc). Until now i don't received my refund amount. I forward email to "[protected]@airindiaexpress.in" many time and there are telling transfer as soon as possible.

                      Now almost 26 days complete. Till not start to process..
                      Please needs to help us...

                        Dear,

                        I have did booking through agent (from Mangalore to Doha) and booking date is 10th of April, 2020 due to lockdown flights has been cancelled.

                        My Father and Mother are in old age above 70 plus year old and they will not travel to Doha QATAR in future date also in this condition ( due to Corona Virus ) which is effect their health as I need full refund against my payment.

                        As I spoke to airindiaexpress customer care, They said I will not get full refund, cancellation charges will applicable Rs.4, 400/- which is not yet all acceptable for me and Rs.4, 400/- big money for me compare to my salary and my parents are in 70 plus year old and they will not travel in future also.So I need full refund against my payment.

                        Your Customer care Mr.Shahul provided the your e mail id to get the approval for full refund.

                        Hence, I want to cancel the booking Ref:-GNHQLY and I am requesting you to refund the full amount without cancellation charges.

                        Please find attached Ticket copy for your reference.

                          Hi,

                          I have cancelled ticket on 29th jan for air india express with pnr number: kmuedc from coimbatore to singapore. As per the attached receipt i was supposed to receive 16425.62 inr back. However untill now i have not received my refund cancellation amount. Attach is the receipt that was shared with me by air india confirming that they will credit 16425.62 inr to my account. Please check.

                              I called air india express customer care to reschedule my flight ticket, stayed on the ivr for 45 mins and call got dropped, finally after several failed attempts the call was connected to an agent who sent me a payment link for an amount of inr 351, the link did not work and i was unable to reach your customer care, i then rescheduled my flight online and was charged a penalty of inr 1100, i then called your customer care at 6am thinking the call volume would be less, the call was connected to an agent by the name of khalid who said penalty waivers can be provided only if the ticket is rescheduled through the call center, your ivr and your fb post only states that ai offers penalty waivers and does not state it had to be done through the call center only, upon requesting for a supervisor several times, i was told that in a place like air india there are no supervisors available and the place is being operated by agents only. Finally khalid disconnected the call. I have sent emails to customer care but unfortunately there is no response, air india reads the msgs on fb msngr but does not respond to customer queries. Most pathetic airline with the worst customer service.

                              I have email send emails to the nodal officer but there is no response

                              If flights have been suspended air india express should provide a refund.

                                After the completion of all the details and payment done, not received the ticket anywhere.

                                  For the chennai to singapore flight departed on 04/03/2020, flight no: ix 688, confirmation number moiqeg. I have booked for my sister-in-law, i paid rs 2700 via online for extra baggage allowance. The amount has been debited from my account, but extra baggage has not been confirmed at the aie end and not reflected in the ticket also. On the departure date, we have been asked to pay rs 2700 for extra baggage as they told that the money debited will be returned to our account automatically in 1 or 2 days. Until now, the amount has not been returned. No one is picking calls. Sent 4-5 mails, only for the first mail, there was a reply that they would look into this, then no replies further.

                                  Why Air India is not looking into this. Why should I pay twice for a buggage, it has been two years, and they have not even responded at least even via mail. Air India Express will only be disreputed if this is how they deal with their customers.

                                    I am a senior citizen, 72 years old who was travelling alone from delhi to abu dhabi by flight ix 115.
                                    During luggage check-in the lady at the counter told me that i have excess check-in luggage of 4 kgs and that i need to pay inr 1500. But i had already double checked the luggage weight at home as 20.5 kgs and cabin baggage as 7.4 kgs. I repeatedly told her that there is some problem with your machine but she didn’t agree and forced me to pay inr 1500 through my credit card else i won’t be allowed to board the plane. I was shocked to see such kind of rude behavior with a senior citizen traveling alone and hence paid the amount.
                                    When i reached my destination in abu dhabi, i again checked the luggage with a digital weighing machine and it was exactly 20.5 kgs.
                                    I didn’t expect such behavior from a reputed airline like yours. I request you to look into the matter urgently and reply at the earliest.

                                      [protected], [protected] flight no ix -172, please find attached for more details about, flight was delayed 2 hours and on boarding pass they have mentioned gate no 6 for departure and they departure from gate 24 without and announcement, i missed flight and was sufferings 5 hours here and there ask for help, no one helped me and ask me to but new tickets for next flight, i need refund for my tickets which i not used, its highly appreciated i[censored] solve this case as soon as possible, worst services i had with air india and their staff, very disappointed they don't have any priority qua for ladies with baby,

                                        Hi, on 12th jan 20 i tried booking ticket through air india call center as usual, and made 50, 000 inr (Ticket cost - 214, 000 inr). Due to some technical reason i was not able to make remaining payment hence ticket was not booked. Though pnr number was generated. Now 50, 000 inr got debited from my bank account and the transaction successful.

                                        Air india said within 48 hours it will be credited back to bank account.

                                        But still today on 03rd feb 20 the amount has not refunded by air india.

                                        Kindly take serious action against them.
