Hi There, I had booked flight tickets for myself and my wife to travel from Trichy to Kuala Lumpur and was supposed to board a flight on 28th April 2021. On 26th April 2021 evening at around 4.30pm IST Malaysia banned Indians from entering Malaysia effective from 28th April 2021. Indian High commission also acknowledged this on their website on 27th April 2021 and mentioned Vande Bharat mission flights to Malaysia are suspended. First Air India Express did not confirm this until 28th April 2021 2:46pm IST. Post confirming I have been asking them about the refund, I didnt get any response for 4-5 days post which they replied saying I will not be getting the refund. I challenged back asking why I will not be getting refund but no response to that email. As per DGCA I should be getting refund in 7 days but no luck so far. I tried reaching customer support, waited on call for 30 mins and when finally an executive attended the call, he says my flight status in the system says "Flight Cancelled, Passenger No Show" which doesnt make sense. I have wrote multiple times asking for clarification but no response. My PNR number is RKHCGB and my passport number Z3824747. I am attaching all the email follow ups I have done so far, but no luck. Air India Express owe me INR 33, 420.38. Also their customer service is also pathetic, I was supposed to travel to Trichy from Mysore with my pregnant wife to board a flight. But these people kept saying the flight will be functional as scheduled despite Malaysian Govt ban & Indian High Commission acknowledging it, if I had trusted these guys I would have made my pregnant wife travel for 8 hours for nothing. There would have been lots of people with kids, old aged people or people with disabilities who would have gone through the same if these guys wont cascade the information properly. They dont respond to email, FB Chat or Instagram nothing, pathetic. They are already charging two times more than a normal ticket price which is ok for us due to pandemic but not giving a refund is not acceptable.

      I was travelling with my family from Dubai to Lucknow .
      As per confirmation from your deira office of air india express and call center ( +[protected]), if child age is below 12 years, PCR test not required for kids. This confirmation done on 22 february 2021 at 10:00 am.
      According to that, I did mine and my wife's RT-PCR test and excluded my children( age 8 year, 6 year and 2 year).
      But when I reached airport the gentlemen clearly said that PCR test required for all passengers including children and infants.

      Please tell me, how as a passenger I can get update ?

      If we are doing COVID test it takes 12 to 24 hours to get report.
      Till 22 february, I have neither received any email / messages nor update from Air India Express regarding COVID test policies.
      Now, because due to air india express staf[censored]nawareness I was not allowed to onboard.
      When I am cancelling tickets they are returning only taxes.
      For what they are charging me airfares?

        Please find attached flight ticket from mangalore to Doha for 2nd may timing 17:35 departure but it was preponed to morning 11:25 am. The flight number was also changed. My husband Noel Pereira did not receive any information about it. Can you please urgently send email regarding flight timing change as he needs to amend his hotel quarantine booking in Doha. He has booked another available flight currently but for hotel quarantine he needs email from air india express regarding flight timing change.

          Ticket Doha-Kochi (PNR: ZWJBVL) cancelled but money is not credited even after 4 months and numerous follow ups.
          After 3 months of waiting, i sent Email to Nodal officer, he said, it will be credited with in 1 week, but not credited even after 1 month.

          A worst experience in processing re-fund requests.

            Dear Sir/Madam,

            Greetings of the day!

            Please be informed that, I have booked my flight on 06th March 2021, Flight # IX1117 from Delhi to Muscat, started at 20 hours from Delhi International Airport.

            Kindly note that due wrong date mentioned on my Covid Test Report, the Delhi Airport Authority doesn't allow me to board on flight and I miss my flight. I show the PDF File, stated the report generated on 04th March 2021 and details also there in PDF file, but the Airport Authority Guy, who check the documents not allowed me to board the flight and I miss the flight.

            Also note that, due to my job requirements, I should report my Company on 07th March 2021, if I did not report at 07th March then I loose my job, soon that situation I updated my manager and requested him to give me one more day time i.e. till 08th March 2021 and he considered my request and booked the flight immediately for Next date i.e. 07th March, 2021.

            Please note that, after did my covid test there in Delhi airport at 08:00 PM and get my report 12:30 AM and immediately book my ticket to Muscat on 07th March 2021 and land in Muscat.

            IMPORTANT NOTE : I am requesting you to please approach Air India Express and refund my ticket money, which I booked on 06th Match 2021 and I am unable to fly on this flight, so you are please refund my money as soon as possible in my same card which I used for booking.

            Also find attached the ticket for your information and references.

              My Air India express Ticket (QKHZCN) from TRV to DXB was cancelled from company side. I went to Air India express Sharjah office regarding the refund status. They informed me that the refund of Rupees ~7905 is processed on 10 th of October 2020. Till now the refund is not credited to my Card. I have contacted the customer care 7-8 times already.

              I have been addressing this issue for the last 5 Months. Made many calls and mails. No response. Every time I am getting the same response that My amount will be refunded within 7 working days. It has been 5 long months.

                Dear Sir,

                Refer to PNR: JHLMDU, auto cancelled flight due to covid 19 situation. Against which I booked ticket for my family, I received voucher under 3 names with expiry[protected]. Due to my current financial crisis I wouldn't be able to bring back my family to Uae again (their Visa Cancelled).

                So I requested to refund the cash to my account. After sending so many emails & follow ups, I receive a email that refund ready is process after deducting cancellation charges i.e., i booked ticket Aed:2, 490 & refund amount will be Aed: 2, 035. Cancellation charge Aed: 455

                so i didn't accept it, i requested full amount refund to my account. i am sending so many emails, but they are not responding to it.

                Kindly do the needful if possible

                  1. Please refer my PNR no WRERJV for the Lucknow to Dubai Air india express flight on 04 April 2020.
                  2. The said flight was cancelled and the same was communicated to me by a mail from Air India Express. After that i applied for refund through your customers support agent on 26 March.
                  3. I was told the refund will come in next 14 working days. However I have not received any refund till date.
                  4. You are requested to kindly Process it at the earliest.

                    I had booked a flight to India from Dubai on Feb 6, 2021. However, the flight got cancelled due to some technical reasons from your side. Given the options to choose cancel the itinerary or to reschedule, I chose to cancel the itinerary and requested for refund. The request for refund was initiated immediately and the customer support representative assured to refund the amount of AED. 1000 (Approx. Rs.20000) within 14 working days. I have been following with your team since then, but it has been nearly 45 days now and the amount is still not refunded. I never had such an embarrassing experience with any other airliner company. I really feel regretted for choosing your service and now I really feel that you are cheating your customers by not paying them back.

                      My name is Dikshith Krishna Suvarna and I was supposed to be a passenger on an air india express flight, Flight IX-186 this was a international flight.

                      This flight was scheduled to depart from Abudhabi to Mangalore on[protected] at 23:45 hrs. This was mean to be a one way ticket.

                      My situation is as : I was not able to travel on that flight due my Emigration issue which I came to know at airport in Emigration counter. & due to that issue I was not able to fly on that day.

                      Because of the above, I am requesting a full refund of the ticket price.

Here I am taking one more step to get back my hardened money. PLS REFUND MY MONEY ASAP

                          We have booked flight ticket on 13th Aprial 2020 from hyderabad to tirupatito but government decleared lockdown due to covid 19 so, we want to go on april 2021 but airline demands more money thats not fare for passengers .we have alredy booked my tickets so, we wants to go to tirupati on that time ticket fare only.i do not to pay extra money

                            I have cancelled ticket on Feb 5th 2021, for the journey on Feb 6th 2021.ecen after one month, after contacting the customer care for a month and also done email to all requested emails in air india. Still I haven't received my refund back. I don't understand this. Why I am getting. Y I am not getting my refund back.

                            I have been asked to wait 15 days then 4 again 4 more days and it continued. I am really frustrated and don't understand why does it hard to gety refund even after soo many calls and emails

                              I was informed by Air India Express that the flight IX194 (Dubai-Lucknow) dt 29 Jan 202 in which my mother in law was booked is cancelled and I need to cancel the flight. I cancelled the ticket (PNR # QRYQJM) flight on 23-Jan-21. At the time of cancellation I was advised that refund should appear in my account/card within 2 weeks.
                              After 2 weeks, when I followed up with Air India Express I was advised to have patience.
                              After about 5 weeks I received an email that a voucher has been issued and sent to my email address and an email address was provided in the email message which was different from my email ([protected]@yahoo.com) on which I received the email. After I pointed out that I did not receive the voucher, I did not receive any response. I didn't even receive any acknowledgement of my email to air india express customer support.
                              I request you to kindly process my refund immediately. I also advice that voucher is not acceptable to me. I'd need refund in my account/card through which the payment was made as cancellation was not my choice but it was because Air India Express cancelled the flight.

                                Hi,

                                I cancelled my ticket which from Hyderabad to Singapore on 17th December. Its almost been nearing to 3 months and I have been calling Air India customer support they are just asking me wait 7 days as their backend support has not processed my payment.

                                I have been writing to backend team but no response from them.

                                  We have booked flight confirmation no AFALHS in 16/02/2021 from Lucknow to Muscat for (2 ADULT+2 KIDS) when we have reached Lucknow airport at 11 am out security didnt allowed us to go inside because my flight time 4.25 pm so we have wait out side with small kids without any facility at international airport even there is no proper arrangement after 1.pm they have allowed inside when we went inside they said wait untill another flight passenger clear so we wait again 2 hrs inside but no one inform us that we need covid -19 report on departure so once line start so we went on counter and they said we cant fly becuase both parrents doesnot have covid 19 report so we have ask why you guys wasted our time if this you can inform us at the time of gate then we could have gone to any approved lab and done our covid -19 report but no listiona at last they said its no show so you can request for reschedule your flight so i went air india counter after standing 1 and 1/2 hrs then one person came and said they cant not do reschedule flight i need to go hazrat ganj DGCA office so i went with small kids but there they said they cant reschedule i need to do online so i did but last 3 days i am struggling for rescheduling but no response from any of air india express services and we are waiting if we dont then we will loose our job and visa.what to do next..

                                    Dubai to Delhi
                                    5 Passengers: 2 Adults and 3 children
                                    Amount: AED 2, 930.00

                                    I contacted your call center for rebooking on 25th March 2021
                                    Flight: IX 1142 Dubai Delhi (00:15 - 05:15)
                                    Fare: AED 2050.00

                                    They are asking me to transfer AED 150.00 (INR 2988.00) as additional charges.
                                    I don't understand the reason. You promised me Free date change.
                                    Additionally the ticket rates are very low!

                                    Please clarify this issue urgently. Very UNFAIR of AIR INDIA EXPRESS!

                                    I emailed AIE with a copy to the nodal officer. The company issued vouchers for each passenger but deducted AED 30.00 per passenger about which I am clueless. The vouchers can be used to book directly on their website on any sector. While the response took about a week, yet I am happy that issue is resolved. All affected passengers can email them for vouchers instead of refunds which may not work. Don't call them, the call center guys can't help. Thanks
