One of my ticket from Singapore to Chennai 28th April 2012,Chennai To Singapore on 06th May 2012(Confirmation number HNZWN8) was cancelled on 23rd April 2012 and the refund not being made as of date. Request you to resolve the issue.

Indian Airlines — REFUND NOT RECEIVED

TICKET WAS PURCHASED ONLINE, TRAVEL DATE WAS JUNE 14, 2007. THAT PARTICLUAR FLIGHT WAS CANCELLED BY AIRLINES. I HAVE NOT YET RECEIVED THE REFUND AMOUNT - DESPITE VISITING THEIR OFFICES, WRITING SEVERAL EMAILS, TELEPHONIC CALLS

refund of the tickets of the flight that got cancelled is being denied

The mumbai to agra flight on 24thnov 2014 got cancelled. Now the air india ecommerce is nt making the refund.

    My Air India Express flight DXB -IXE departing at 7/22/2012 9:15:00 AM (Date is in mm/dd/yyyy format) has been cancelled but I can not get a refund back. The staff in their office in Dubai never answer the phone (It's a;ways engaged) and emails go unanswered. Several of my friends who used to fly by AIE have had similar experience. This is so unfair. I will be writing to the local newspapers about this just to warn the NRIs about this problem.

    Air India Express — No Refund for cancellation of flight

    I was supposed to travel in Air India Express Flight On 27 May 2011 From Sharjah To Cochin on Flight Number IX 412. 27th early morning I received a call from air india express , they said the flight is cancelled due to pilots strike and further information will be given later. So I went to the sharjah air port office of air india express and they asked me to send a mail to air india express for 100% repayment since the flight got cancelled. I have send many mails to the company but there is no action so far . I had booked this ticket through my friends credit card. My PNR Number is : IX16046830. total amount payed to book the ticket was 1066.20 AED. Please do the needful to refund my money.

      Sir,
      I have booked an air ticket from Singapore to Chennai (travelling date 14/05/2012) for my wife. Later I wanted to cancel the ticket and I tried online cancellation but it doesn't work. So I sent an email request to customer support in Singapore to cancel it manually. They replied back to me on 18th of April and informed me that the ticket was cancelled and I will get the refund in 2 weeks. But until now I did not get any calls or any follow ups from them . When ever I notify them about this issue they will forward the email to somebody and CC to me. The booking details is as follows

      Confirmation number: FPREUH
      FROM/TO FLIGHT STOPS DEPARTURE ARRIVAL

      Air India — No Refund after cancellation of trip

      I had cancelled my trip to Delhi from Kolkata on Air India , I was promised a refund within 7 working days through an email confirmation, Its been almost 20 days I have not recieved my refund nor do they respond to any emails now or the Call centre says that it is not their department . This looks to be a big harrassment.

      I had booked a tkt for Guwahati to Kolkata for 23rd April 2011 by AI730, e Tkt no.[protected].I got this tkt cancelled at Guwahati airprt at Airindia counter on 20 th April 2011. I had also forwarded the mail to the airindia.nic.in & [protected]@airindia.com.I have still not received the refund.Also all my mails are not being accepted & call centers are also not attending even the staff at Ranchi airport are clueless .It seems a big harrassment.Kindly refund the fare at the earliest.

        i have sent 3 reminder mails to [protected]@airindiaexpress.in since 12th May 2012 regarding my refund claim for my ticket PNR No. FT74ZF(ticket attached with the mail; its for cancelled air india express flight no. IX-208 Dated 12/05/2012 for the sector Mumbai to Mangalore). the previous two reminders were dated for 12/05/2012 and 22/05/2012.
        However i am sorry to say that despite my repeated reminders i have not yet received any proper reply from your side(except for a mail on 17th of May that my mail has been forwarded to the concerned department) nor i have got my refund back as yet.
        not only this lackasaidal attitude from your side is highly frustrating but it will also prevent me from booking any tickets with this airlines in future. i hope that better sense will prevail and soon a redressal of my complaint will be done so that i am not forced to take a legal recourse for my rightful claim.

        Indian Airlines — Flight cancelled, but only taxes refunded

        Dear Sir,

        I had booked a ticket from bombay to trivandrum for 10th Nov by Yatra.com. The yatra reference number is HQN7NA. I was informed by the arlines about the reschedule of the flight IC[protected] h) to IC[protected] h). However, as the new flight time was inconvenient I canceled the ticket, and I was assured that since the time difference is more than 1 h, I will get complete refund. But I was provided only the taxes, and upon investigation I was told to get my ticket stamped (for full refund) from the airlines office. After much effort, I finally got my tickets stamped from the airlines office who mentioned "full refund to be provided" but I have never received the money even after sending repeated reminder.

        My self Sangeeta Rai, travelling from the Kolkotta to Singapore dated 08/01/2010 flight no. IX-932, When i reached in singapore my laguage missing and i had also complain in singapore airindiaexpress authority,they're giving assurance with us. when i checked in kol, that time i didn't get tagged bar. My husband also complain in kol. in laguage deparatment.so hope u will managed or enquery very soon.

        Air India — flight cancellation without notice

        dear sir,
        I booked a ticket through a travel agent on Air-India Express-194 from lucknow to delhi on 28th december2009 for three passengers. the ticket was booked for 7th feb 2010 and the pnr no was IX-IX06493023. The scheduled departure of flight was 04:35 hrs and was to reach delhi at 05:30 hrs.
        since I had to go to madurai i had booked further ticket on kingfisher-2415 from delhi to madurai for 7th feb 2010 pnr no:IT-ESUJLJ. This flight was scheduled to depart at 08:50 hrs.
        when i reached lucknow airport there was no sign of any fligt nor the air india counter was open. some of the airport staff told that this flight of air india is not operating since last one month. i contacted the travel agent who also felt sorry but told me that nothing can be done now and refund will be given later. since next flight to delhi was at 09:00 hrs I along with four four other passengers had to leave my flight from delhi to madurai.
        I had to travel from lucknow todelhi from king fisher flight to delhi at an extra cost of Rs 10000.00 and had to wait full day at delhi to take another flight to Chennai that too at a higher rate and around Rs 9000.00 was deducted from my previous booked ticket to madurai all because of careless attitude of Air India and not informing me in time about the cancellationof flight. while booking the ticket on 28th december 09 they sent a confirmation message on mobile as well as on my e mail. The concerned authorities should be asked to privide for my wastage of time and money and harrasment to my family.
        I have sent 2 reminders regarding the cancellation of Booking PNR No EZGJQ1, flight No (IX-203) from Mumbai to Calicut on 10 May 2012 & IX-302 from calicut to Mumbai on 21 May 2012 to [protected]@airindiaexpress due airindia staff strike.Still they are not responding through email or telephone.

        Request you to claim the same at earliest as possible.

        I has issued a ticket on 19 March 2012 using my Emirates NBD debit card to travel from Dubai to Mangalore on 19th May 2012, and later we want to travel to different destination we had cancelled the ticket prior one month and it has been notified to me that refund will credit to my account within 15 working days, But its almost 4 months passed and i still didnt hear any news from them. I send almost 100 mails claiming the refund to [protected]@airindiaexpress.in & hb.[protected]@airindia.in, and even they are not replying to mail and i called to the mumbai office and they told that they will do the needful and still now no response and the worst part is that sometimes they will answer and hold the phone and even they will not talk to us, just now i called them at[protected] and happened the same, they are holding my call, and mine is international call as i am in UAE and lose good amount to follow-up about my refund.
        Hereby requesting you to do the needful as i am really fedup with this poor services from Air India Express.

        Every one I like to inform every one and also like to raise a complain all the passenger who travel By AIR INDIA EXPRESS, I had a bad experience when I was traveling From Mangalore to Doha With My wife and my child, the staff are so rude and lot of harassments from staff till the security in the Mangalore Air Port, trying to open all the baggage’s creating problems to the passengers unnecessarily without any strong reasons, its has been noticed that the new ways to make money is that for access baggage weight where they have Set the electronic weigh machine is to 5kgs More then the normal, usually we weigh our baggage’s from our manual weigh machine, which may have some error, considering this and taking this point in mind we reduce our things much more then the luggage allowance to avoid the charge of access luggage, but still every one find the weight more then what they expect, so the Air Port make a good profit of this charging Rs. 475/- per kg, and next thing is that after boarding the flight they don’t provide any kind of food or a glass water for hours after the take up where we find and face tuff time due to the flight is at 7Am and we had to report to the Airport at 5Am without having a proper breakfast, mean while I would like to tell you that I had booked my flight at 8 Am and at last movement I was lucky enough to know that have called me and informed me the flight time has changed to7 Am or else it would be another problem that i may miss the flight, later one board the seats of the flight is such a bad condition that we cannot even lean back, , traveling for hours its normal that passengers may need some entertainment for getting bored, but in this flight they take another advantage of the passenger to make money that is the drop down the TV screen with a movie which is of their own choice and each TV provided for 2 passengers where it cant even watched properly with fading effect on it, and try to sell the headphones to hear the Audio of the movie, and this headphones are waste after they use in in the aircraft because its not useful for any audio equipment, later on the food supplied is not even worth for animals to eat, such kind of food are supplied for passengers, were I noticed everything is returned back to dustbin when gathering back, After that comes liquors for selling like whisky wine bear etc to make again some bossiness in the board, The Airlines are taking advantage as there are no other international flights from Mangalore where the passengers are helpless and forced to take a direct flight from Mangalore. This flights does not have any accurate timings and can change their timings at anytime, more over flights also can cancel any movement and even refund not available so we can take any other flight to avoid delay even though the fault and delay is from their side. earlier I have noticed there were 2 flights in a week and now its 1 flight for a week witch is not reliable, the timings are very early morning which is makes in convince to all passengers who are traveling, The Air India Express is not bothered of giving a good service but trying to make Money and take advantage of the passengers who are helpless, and they say the flights are going in loss may be this is th reason they try to recover their loss in this kind of business, even though they don’t have any feelings of Air crash took place recently, and passengers traveling in this are flying with risk, comparing to this I really appreciate Emirates Airlines which I use to fly from Bangalore to Doha, Via Dubai, but I do enjoy the good service, I had 8Kgs of access baggage were I was not charged any this extra for this due to the kindness of the airlines, the baggage allowance was 30Kg and the Hand bag allowance was 7kgs, and the cabin crew I found were polite too, the food was excellent, and they had provide a free TV to each seat in front of the passengers with a control box hanging were we can select movie, songs and games to kind along with a free head phones, there was also a night lamp where we can use it for our convenience, tea coffee are provide to everyone on request any time when they needed it, they also provide toys, color pencil blankets to kids and children with some special gifts which makes children happy to enjoy the journey, it was said Emirates Airline gets Award every year for the best service and performance, but just I had taken a chance in the Indian Express that to avoid traveling to Bangalore to take this fight, that was a mistake I had made and faced this problem, or else traveling to Bangalore is not so tuff as there are more then 400 luxury super deluxe AC buss Pvt and Govt, every day too and fro, where we don’t even find tired after a sleep in the sleeper coach and next morning reaching to Bangalore, Airport busses are available from the buss stop which makes passengers convenient, and the New Bangalore International Airport is excellent comparing to Mangalore Airport, so I request and cooperate all who have gone thorough this problems and also join hands to teach them a lesson, that the Airlines are for the service of People and its not that the People are here to give them business and take advantages of them, And stop to put an end to this Monkey Business.

        I have sent numerous mails in relation to the subject matter& didn't get any refund to the credit card which was used to purchase the ticket. Today I have visited your Sharjah office, they mentioned they can't give any assistance/ support for the ticket purchased online. I have received mail to this ID from "[protected]@airindiaexpress.in" on 13/06/2012 in relation to the cancellation of flight dated 14/07/12 (CCJ-DXB) and second mail on 19/07/12 on cancellation of flight DXB-CCJ dtd 16/08/12. I have spent huge amount to arrange booking with other flights due to short notice cancellation, additionally mental tension. Now I can't afford another loss due to non refund/ delay in refund. I will take-up this issue with consumer court/ medias for my rights if it is not sort out within reasonable time and the Airline will be authenticated. I am forwarding the mails received on cancellation of flights.

        • Cabin Baggage allowed is 7 Kgs (including DUTY FREE ITEMS) per passenger (except Infants). Dimensions not to exceed 20x14x9 inches.
        • Check-in counters open 3 HOURS before scheduled departure and close 60 MINUTES before scheduled departure. All passengers must possess a valid Passport and Visa for International Travel. For Domestic Travel, passengers must carry a valid Photo ID.

        • CANCELLATION CHARGES 35% of the basic fare + transaction fee if the cancellation is made 10 days or more prior to the scheduled departure of the flight. 50% of the basic fare + transaction fee if the cancellation is made between 9 days and 24 hours prior to the scheduled departure of the flight. ONLY TAXES will be refunded if the cancellation is made less than 24 hours prior to the scheduled departure of the flight. Only Taxes will also be refunded if the passenger is also a NO SHOW on the flight.
        • Change of Booking to another date/sector is permitted up to 12 hours prior to your booked flight. Change of date/sector is free of cost for Express FLEXI fare. For Express VALUE fare, a nominal charge of Rs 450/- or its equivalent in local currency will be charged. In both Express VALUE and Express FLEXI, the passenger will have to pay the difference in fare if the applicable basic fare is greater than the current basic fare. However, if the applicable basic fare is less than the current basic fare, the difference in amount will not be refunded to the passenger. Also, in case the applicable taxes are higher, the difference in tax amount will also have to be paid by the passenger. If the applicable taxes are lower, no refund will be given. The refund will be made in the same mode of payment as used while booking. For 'Cash' payment, the refund may be processed by cheque.
        • As provided in Air-India Express's Regulations, certain fares may have conditions, which limit or exclude the passengers’ right to change or cancel reservations.
        • Fares and schedules are subject to change without notice.
        • In case of circumstances beyond its control, Air-India Express may without notice, cancel, reschedule or reroute a flight. In such cases when the flight is cancelled or delayed by more than 3 hours, Air-India Express shall either: Carry the passenger on another of its scheduled passenger service on the same sector, provided space is available, OR Make a full refund of the ticket with no further liability to Air-India Express.(The passenger will be required to collect the refund from the point of purchase.)
        • Air-India Express is strictly a 'point to point' Airline. It does not take any obligations or responsibility for transfer/connections of passengers or their baggage to other flights, whether operated by Air-India Express or another carrier. Air-India Express is not liable for any losses or expenses arising out of any failure to board a planned connection. On cancellation or delay of its flight due to unforeseen circumstances Air-India Express will not provide for accommodation nor will it provide or arrange for alternate mode of travel.

        I have booked airticket for me (Confirmation No. 64T71B) on 28 th Augest 2013 to fly from Dubai to Tiruchirappalli for the date 26 Sep 2013, later we cancelled our booking on 23 Sep 2013 following the airline cancelled their flight, but we still not received the refund amount even after 2 weeks of booking cancel.

        Air India Express — No Refund After Cancelling Flight

        I had cancelled my ticket on 10/09/2013 ( Confirmation number CE9TYQ ). Now its almost 35 days, i didn't receive any refund. I sent around 5 emails to customer support. They are just replying some issues on finance department, they are following up. Please do any necessary action.
        I have similar problem with ticket being taken using my credit card and later on cancelled, but no refund is received yet...

        Email correspondence is below & nobody is answering, while trying to call them...

        It is horrible...

          One of my ticket from Kozhikode to Mumbai on 2nd May (PNR No. IX[protected] was cancelled on May 1st and the refund not being made as of date. Request you to resolve the issue.

            This is with regards to are flight from IXE-DXB on 30th March 2012, wherein the customer service was very pathetic, inhuman and worst.
            I work for an airline and am aware some situations and circumstances are behond are control ,but as a consumer i expect full co-operation from the Company.
            I and my husband were traveling as the the tkt issued online to us showed dep time at 0915 hrs ,we reached airport around 0730 hrs but were informed that the flt time has changed and the dep time is 1515 hrs, we totally got lost as the tkt printout was taken online and we did not get any message from airline, thou the UAE no.and India local no was provided in the PNR.....
            The staff were also not sure how this happened, we showed the tkt copies, they also confirmed that contact details mentioned are correctly and agreed that its the airline fault.
            I was 07 months pregnant while traveling and i hope you understand the situation better at this stage...
            We were not given much of the option and were advised to stay at waiting area...but we decided to go back and come again as the waiting area at least for pregnant women was not at all comfortable and its was more den 06hrs for dep.
            Later after wasting almost one and half hour we were advised that traveling allowance will be given to us as compensation...again we almost wasted most of the time as the staff was struggling to find the station manger for approval...
            Mr.XYZ ( shift in charge) was aware about the whole case and informed that the money will be paid later and he would keep all the things ready when we come for the dep at 1515hrs....
            but unfortunately again we were disappointed as we reached the airport at 1330 hrs and when we asked for Mr.XYZ he was not available, so asked for the shift in-charge present at that moment...but nobody was ready to attend us and they did not do are check-in as well stating that the shift in-charge will cum and they will take it further..we kept on asking staff for the manager or any other higher authority, hoping that Mr. XYZ might have informed to his colleague to action it on his behalf,again there was no response..it was 1410 and we proceeded to counter for check in and that time again we repeated the whole story to staff present there ..one off the staff came forward he told he was not much aware about the case but he manged to contact the manager Mr. ABC and the story was repeated again....
            First of all we both were patient enough even after going thru such a bad time and the amount of money and time we already wasted because its a error happened, but after explaining the whole thing to Mr ABC and the way he responded to us was very in human.....
            He was just trying to prove us wrong stating that the contact details were not present and it was are fault and he would offload us from the flight as we asked for the compensation....
            After going thru such a difficult time explaining him that it was not are fault and Mr. ABC is already aware, he finally agreed that its airline fault and decided to give only Rs.1000 as compensation...
            I hope you understand that road travelling in IXE is just so expensive we had already paid Rs. 2500 one time in the morning and again Rs. 2500 to take the afternoon flight...
            We tried are best to explain Mr. ABC and informed him that are's was a genuine case and we should be given more then what we have spend as it was not only the matter of money but all the in convince that we both had to go thru specially i being pregnant, but all gone in vain...he was not ready to speak to us .....which was very disheartening....
            The amount that we wasted in terms of money - time and my physical condition was much more den what he compensated...I agree everything cannot be counted in terms of money but a fair and reasonable compensation is what was expected and more then that empathy towards the passenger which was also missing...
            I wrote complaint with regards to the same to [protected]@airindiaexpress.in,hoping and requesting to investigate once again with regards to the same and give a proper human response for all what we have gone thru..
            but no response from there end ....

            Every one I like to inform every one and also like to raise a complain all the passenger who travel By AIR INDIA EXPRESS, I had a bad experience when I was traveling From Mangalore to Doha With My wife and my child, the staff are so rude and lot of harassments from staff till the security in the Mangalore Air Port, trying to open all the baggage’s creating problems to the passengers unnecessarily without any strong reasons, its has been noticed that the new ways to make money is that for access baggage weight where thy have the electronic weigh machine is to 5kgs More then the normal, usually we weigh our baggage’s from our manual weigh machine, which may have some error, considering this and taking this point in mind we reduce our things much more then the luggage allowance to avoid the charge of access luggage, but still every one find the weight more then what they expect, so the Air Port make a good profit of this charging Rs. 475/- per kg, and next thing is that after boarding the flight they don’t provide any kind of food or a glass water for hours after the take up where we find and face tuff time due to the flight is at 7Am and we had to report to the Airport at 5Am without having a proper breakfast, mean while I would like to tell you that I had booked my flight at 8 Am and at last movement I was lucky enough to know that have called me and informed me the flight time has changed to7 Am or else it would be another problem that i may miss the flight, later one board the seats of the flight is such a bad condition that we cannot even lean back, , traveling for hours its normal that passengers may need some entertainment for getting bored, but in this flight they take another advantage of the passeager to make money that is the drop down the TV screen with a movie which is of their own choice and each TV provided for 2 passengers where it cant even watched properly with fading effect on it, and try to sell the headphones to hear the Audio of the movie, and this headphones are waste after they use in in the aircraft because its not useful for any audio equipment, later on the food supplied is not even worth for animals to eat, such kind of food are supplied for passengers, were I noticed everything is returned back to dustbin when gathering back, After that comes liquors for selling like whisky wine bear etc to make again some bossiness in the board, The Airlines are taking advantage as there are no other international flights from Mangalore where the passengers are helpless and forced to take a direct flight from Mangalore.               I did internet reservation for 3 ticket from Kuwait to Kochi for 18th April. I tried to change my booking for a future date on 17th April due to some unavoidable reasons.However the website was down and local air india express office said that they are not authorised office and I have to write to head office in Mumbai and I did so. So far no reply .

                I called Air India Customer care at 2:09 on 13/01/2013 and spoke to a Staff named GIRI, I dont know if he was Drunk or Sleepy, he was very RUDE on the call. I wanted to know which are the Dreamliner Flights available for Travel to Delhi, and I was complimenting by letting him know that I wanted to get an Experience travelling in Dreamliner as I have heard good feedback and reviews about the B787, This staff (GIRI) was so RUDE on the call mentioned below are some statements made by him.

                I was shocked, the way he was speaking to me. I told him see I am being so polite to you and I have not abused you, I am talking very softly, he kept me on mute and then when I told him I know you have kept me on mute, he disconnected my call.
                I have wrote a Complaint feedback on Air India website Reference Number is WB-DBLR[protected]

                I called again to Air India customer care and spoke to a Staff (Firoz) to tell what happened on the previous call, what his colleague (GIRI) did on the call. I asked him where their call center is located, he told its in Mumbai. I asked him if they were Direct Employee of Air Inida or it outsourced to someother company, He told me it was NOT Air India and it was someother company. Then he told I cant give that information, I replied saying I got to know that Air India has outsourced its call center.

                And Air India has outsourced its call center to some junk company who has such unprofessional employees who spoil the Reputation of their company and its Client.

                The staff whom I had called again to complaint has told that I would be getting a call from Air India. This kind of Customer service is NOT Acceptable.

                    dear sir,

                      I had plan to book the ticket through online from airindia express web site. I booked ticket, but ticket not generated (due to time out) simultaneously money credited to air India express account. I had informed through email on Jan. 2012 so far no reply. Pls guide me what are the procedure to refund my money ..?

                      Every one I like to inform every one and also like to raise a complain all the passenger who travel By AIR INDIA EXPRESS, I had a bad experience when I was traveling From Mangalore to Doha With My wife and my child, the staff are so rude and lot of harassments from staff till the security in the Mangalore Air Port, trying to open all the baggage’s creating problems to the passengers unnecessarily without any strong reasons, its has been noticed that the new ways to make money is that for access baggage weight where thy have the electronic weigh machine is to 5kgs More then the normal, usually we weigh our baggage’s from our manual weigh machine, which may have some error, considering this and taking this point in mind we reduce our things much more then the luggage allowance to avoid the charge of access luggage, but still every one find the weight more then what they expect, so the Air Port make a good profit of this charging Rs. 475/- per kg, and next thing is that after boarding the flight they don’t provide any kind of food or a glass water for hours after the take up where we find and face tuff time due to the flight is at 7Am and we had to report to the Airport at 5Am without having a proper breakfast, mean while I would like to tell you that I had booked my flight at 8 Am and at last movement I was lucky enough to know that have called me and informed me the flight time has changed to7 Am or else it would be another problem that i may miss the flight, later one board the seats of the flight is such a bad condition that we cannot even lean back, , traveling for hours its normal that passengers may need some entertainment for getting bored, but in this flight they take another advantage of the passeager to make money that is the drop down the TV screen with a movie which is of their own choice and each TV provided for 2 passengers where it cant even watched properly with fading effect on it, and try to sell the headphones to hear the Audio of the movie, and this headphones are waste after they use in in the aircraft because its not useful for any audio equipment, later on the food supplied is not even worth for animals to eat, such kind of food are supplied for passengers, were I noticed everything is returned back to dustbin when gathering back, After that comes liquors for selling like whisky wine bear etc to make again some bossiness in the board, The Airlines are taking advantage as there are no other international flights from Mangalore where the passengers are helpless and forced to take a direct flight from Mangalore. This flights does not have any accurate timings and can change their timings at anytime, more over flights also can cancel any movement and even refund not available so we can take any other flight to avoid delay even though the fault and delay is from their side. earlier I have noticed there were 2 flights in a week and now its 1 flight for a week witch is not reliable, the timings are very early morning which is makes in convince to all passengers who are traveling, The Air India Express is not bothered of giving a good service but trying to make Money and take advantage of the passengers who are helpless, and they say the flights are going in loss may be this is th reason they try to recover their loss in this kind of business, even though they don’t have any feelings of Air crash took place recently, and passengers traveling in this are flying with risk, comparing to this I really appreciate Emirates Airlines which I use to fly from Bangalore to Doha, Via Dubai, but I do enjoy the good service, I had 8Kgs of access baggage were I was not charged any this extra for this due to the kindness of the airlines, the baggage allowance was 30Kg and the Hand bag allowance was 7kgs, and the cabin crew I found were polite too, the food was excellent, and they had provide a free TV to each seat in front of the passengers with a control box hanging were we can select movie, songs and games to kind along with a free head phones, there was also a night lamp where we can use it for our convenience, tea coffee are provide to everyone on request any time when they needed it, they also provide toys, color pencil blankets to kids and children with some special gifts which makes children happy to enjoy the journey, it was said Emirates Airline gets Award every year for the best service and performance, but just I had taken a chance in the Indian Express that to avoid traveling to Bangalore to take this fight, that was a mistake I had made and faced this problem, or else traveling to Bangalore is not so tuff as there are more then 400 luxury super delux AC buss Pvt and Govt, every day too and fro, where we don’t even find tired after a sleep in the sleeper coach and next morning reaching to Bangalore, Airport busses are available from the buss stop which makes passengers convenient, and the New Bangalore International Airport is excellent comparing to Mangalore Airport, so I request and cooperate all who have gone thorough this problems and also join hands to teach them a lesson, that the Airlines are for the service of People and its not that the People are here to give them business and take advantages of them, And stop to put an end to this Monkey Business.

                          I am mustaffa i have travelled from kozhikode to dubai on 7th january 2012 e-ticket number is IX17264147 and PNR IX11028194. when i reach dubai i didnt receive my baggage and it has been told to me that the baggage was send to abu dhabi and they will call and inform me that when i can collect it. after that i didnot receive any response from air india and when i called back again they have informed me that they will call me and later on someone called me and tole that its received in abu dhabi airport and i can go and collect it when i went there i got the reply that no baggage is there. like that i got two, three calls and when i go i get the response that my baggage is not there.

                          whenever i call to the airindia express office i get the reply that they are busy and they will get back to me and it never happend. once when i called they give me a telephone number [protected] to call for the update of my baggage and the number is always switched off.


                          there was some mistakes by the staff who issued boarding pass instead of putting the tag for dubai they have put it as abu dhabi only recently i came to know about it, i cannot understand what happend with my baggage. and air india express is not able to give me a proper reply for my questions.

                          this is pure negelegence from the staffs of air india express abu dhabi i dont see any other reason to think otherwise. i dont know where shoud i lodge my complaint for the mentioned for getting my baggage its been almost a month now.

                          Air India Express — non loading of baggage of all the passengers

                          I came by the same Air India Express flight (IX- 931) on 11 th June 2011, Singapore to Kolkata). The airlines didn't load the baggage of a single passenger from Singapore. Is it a mistake or is it a crime? Sample this...Their staff didnt come down for 1 hour and all the passengers complained to the on duty -airport manager...Despite the manager calling them, they took 1 hour to come and we were left at the mercy of our incompetent government officials. They didn't load the wheel chairs of the disabled passengers also. Its a criminal offense on their part!!! And most probably DGCA is hand in glove with them as this is a frequent occurrence with this particular air lines but no action is being taken against them. The only reason this is happening is because these useless government service guys know that they will not be thrown out of office even if they kill somebody.I had to proceed to Guwahati for my onward journey and i wont be surprised if i have to go back to Kolkata to collect the baggage ...most importantly paying from my own pocket. The people involved from top to bottom should be sent to jail the way Kalmadi and his team of thieves are sent to jail... please support this campaign against Air India Express...atleast remove the suffix 'India' from it as i being a law abiding citizen of Indian republic I feel deeply hurt and disturbed with this CRIME.

                          This is for your kind information that my wife Mrs. Samira Banu Noor Mohamed has lost his luggage while returning from Dubai to

                          Tiruchirappalli via chennai on Air India Express flight No. IX-6122 on[protected]. She was travelling along with our 4 years old daughter

                          Ms. Musfira.

                          She was carrying a hand baggage of weight 14kg which contains both their belongings. Before boarding the flight one of the Air India staff
                          requested her to hand over the hand baggage so that he/she put that in luggage section instead of carrying. The Air India staff have given my wife
                          a luggage tag. Once they reach Tiruchirrappalli she could not find this particular luggage. She is not the only passenger who lost his luggage, there are many passengers who lost their luggage too. One of the Air India staff at Tiruchirappalli requested to hand over the luggage tag inorder to trace it.

                          He also gave us an official receipt for the same. While handing over the luggage tag my wife shocked to see that the name written on her luggage tag is wrong. Tag No. EY641869 with a passenger name Mr. Muthusamy. My wife is a first time flyer and she could not noticed it.

                          After so many follow ups we could not get any proper responce from the Tiruchirappalli Airport office. Almost 14 days has been passed away.
                          What i can say is that they are least bothered. The blue colour trolley bag contains new dresses, my daughter medical records, original sworn
                          affidavit taken from Dubai consulate general office (belongs to my cousin).

                          I am submitting this complaint hoping that some one will take appropriate action and help us in finding our luggage.

                            Dear Sir,

                            I travelled by Air India Express Fllight IX 402 from Kochi to Mumbai today(11/1/2012). We boarded the flight at 9.30 AM. To our horror, we found all passengers covering their nose with what ever they could get. The cabin was stinking of very pungent smell of rotten fish. The smell was so strong and foul that some of the passengers were about to vomit or vommitted. When we spoke to cabin crew, they informed that the flight previous to ours coming to Kochin carried fish and the smell leaked into the cabin.

                            Apart from we Indians who have very high level of toleration, there were a number of foreign tourists who were also subjected to this experience. I wonder what impression these outsiders will carry about our national airline and the hygiene standards of we Indians.

                            May I request you to look into this issue so as to bring to book those responsible for such acts which bring disrepute our national air liner.

                              I traveled in air india express flight from Kozhikode (ccj) to dubai (dxb) on 7th november 2011, guess what they served all uncooked basmati rice with dal curry, WOOW.......is that you get when your traveling in international flight, for me AIR INDIA EXPRESS is THE END.

                              Hey my fellow indians, if you are an INDIAN CITIZENS then STOP FLYING IN AIR INDIA EXPRESS, dont waste your hard earned money for crap.... there is hardly enough variation in other flights with so many options.

                              LET AIR INDIA EXPRESS DIE.......

                                This is regarding a payment issue happened on 09/11/2011. On that day I booked a Two way ticket from DUBAI to MANGALORE 18/11/11 and 28/11/11.
                                Because of your server down,I cancelled the transaction.but i got a reference number RF10146338.But the same time my money(AED1490.52) deducted from my account by the transaction no ID 029641 by AIR INDIA CHIX10974139.But i did not got the ticket.So please cancel only this transaction and please return back my money ASAP.

                                So I made another transaction on 10/11/11 and i got the Ticket with the PNR IX10978001.with transaction ID 015527.

                                  On 02/11/2011 , I took an Air India Express flight (IX 419)from Cochin to Abudhabi .There were nearly 35 passengers in all. The seating inside the aircraft was worst.The seat assigned for me was torn & was hanging. The base of the seat could be seen.The air hostess gave me another seat, but seat was worse.The push back button of the seat was missing.I was forced to use my previous seat.This is the condition for many of the seats.Passengers are suffering. I find this only in Kerala sector.Abnormal sounds from cabin luggage cabins was another highlight.Ticket rate was Rs.11000/- when compared to another airline it was more(only 35 passengers).If this continues further it is a shame for our national airliner.
                                  So, I urge you to see to this matter seriously and provide good comfort to the passengers.Why do we risk ourselves.

                                    Every one I like to inform every one and also like to raise a complain all the passenger who travel By AIR INDIA EXPRESS, I had a bad experience when I was traveling From Mangalore to Doha With My wife and my child, the staff are so rude and lot of harassments from staff till the security in the Mangalore Air Port, trying to open all the baggage’s creating problems to the passengers unnecessarily without any strong reasons, its has been noticed that the new ways to make money is that for access baggage weight where thy have the electronic weigh machine is to 5kgs More then the normal, usually we weigh our baggage’s from our manual weigh machine, which may have some error, considering this and taking this point in mind we reduce our things much more then the luggage allowance to avoid the charge of access luggage, but still every one find the weight more then what they expect, so the Air Port make a good profit of this charging Rs. 475/- per kg, and next thing is that after boarding the flight they don’t provide any kind of food or a glass water for hours after the take up where we find and face tuff time due to the flight is at 7Am and we had to report to the Airport at 5Am without having a proper breakfast, mean while I would like to tell you that I had booked my flight at 8 Am and at last movement I was lucky enough to know that have called me and informed me the flight time has changed to7 Am or else it would be another problem that i may miss the flight, later one board the seats of the flight is such a bad condition that we cannot even lean back, , traveling for hours its normal that passengers may need some entertainment for getting bored, but in this flight they take another advantage of the passeager to make money that is the drop down the TV screen with a movie which is of their own choice and each TV provided for 2 passengers where it cant even watched properly with fading effect on it, and try to sell the headphones to hear the Audio of the movie, and this headphones are waste after they use in in the aircraft because its not useful for any audio equipment, later on the food supplied is not even worth for animals to eat, such kind of food are supplied for passengers, were I noticed everything is returned back to dustbin when gathering back, After that comes liquors for selling like whisky wine bear etc to make again some bossiness in the board, The Airlines are taking advantage as there are no other international flights from Mangalore where the passengers are helpless and forced to take a direct flight from Mangalore. This flights does not have any accurate timings and can change their timings at anytime, more over flights also can cancel any movement and even refund not available so we can take any other flight to avoid delay even though the fault and delay is from their side. earlier I have noticed there were 2 flights in a week and now its 1 flight for a week witch is not reliable, the timings are very early morning which is makes in convince to all passengers who are traveling, The Air India Express is not bothered of giving a good service but trying to make Money and take advantage of the passengers who are helpless, and they say the flights are going in loss may be this is th reason they try to recover their loss in this kind of business, even though they don’t have any feelings of Air crash took place recently, and passengers traveling in this are flying with risk, comparing to this I really appreciate Emirates Airlines which I use to fly from Bangalore to Doha, Via Dubai, but I do enjoy the good service, I had 8Kgs of access baggage were I was not charged any this extra for this due to the kindness of the airlines, the baggage allowance was 30Kg and the Hand bag allowance was 7kgs, and the cabin crew I found were polite too, the food was excellent, and they had provide a free TV to each seat in front of the passengers with a control box hanging were we can select movie, songs and games to kind along with a free head phones, there was also a night lamp where we can use it for our convenience, tea coffee are provide to everyone on request any time when they needed it, they also provide toys, color pencil blankets to kids and children with some special gifts which makes children happy to enjoy the journey, it was said Emirates Airline gets Award every year for the best service and performance, but just I had taken a chance in the Indian Express that to avoid traveling to Bangalore to take this fight, that was a mistake I had made and faced this problem, or else traveling to Bangalore is not so tuff as there are more then 400 luxury super delux AC buss Pvt and Govt, every day too and fro, where we don’t even find tired after a sleep in the sleeper coach and next morning reaching to Bangalore, Airport busses are available from the buss stop which makes passengers convenient, and the New Bangalore International Airport is excellent comparing to Mangalore Airport, so I request and cooperate all who have gone thorough this problems and also join hands to teach them a lesson, that the Airlines are for the service of People and its not that the People are here to give them business and take advantages of them, And stop to put an end to this Monkey Business.

                                    I had booked a ticket in Air India Express IX506 departing from Trivandrum on 14th June 2014 at 10pm to Chennai for my mother. But at 9 pm, the passengers were informed that there is a delay in the departure and expected to depart at 11.30 pm. But till 11.30 pm there was no information and we contacted the airindia express&#039; customer support number they do not have any information regarding that. When called the airport officials at Trivandrum, they said the flight is departed at 11.30pm from chennai to Trivandrum and it will depart back from Trivandrum at 12.30 am. But at 12.30am, since there was no information, we had called the airport officials again and they said it is cancelled due to shortage of crew members. But still, after that till now (1.30 am), no information from the Air India express officials regarding the alternative arrangements. Very irresponsible they are. My old mother travelling alone, waiting the whole night in the airport without any clear information on what to do further, is quite stressful. Air India Express has to take the whole responsibility for the inconvenience caused and do the needful

                                      I had booked below inbound & outbound tickets with your airlines on 19 September, 2011.
                                      I got an email from you, saying that flight IX411/DEL-COK dated 11th December 2011(PNR: IX[protected] has been cancelled

                                      How can you cancel a flight after 1 and half months of booking.

                                      Moreover, you have also cancelled my flight from Cochin to New Delhi dated 16th December, 2011 without any intimation.

                                      Now, I am finding it difficult to rebook the tickets for the same itenary.
                                      I had pre-planned my travel. I am currently suffering from dengue and this is causing great pain and aggrevating my condition.

                                      Also, I cant now afford to buy the flight tickets for the same ittenary at the short notice as the cost has doubled and also the flight timmings are not suiting my plans.

                                      I request you to provide the alternate arrangements else I would approach law of court to get the compensation for the agony and pain caused by your airlines.

                                      I would sue your company, if alternate arrangements are not made.

                                      I am also writing to Consumer court and I would follow up till your airlines doesnt pay the compensation for the agony and loss caused to me and my family.

                                        I had booked my tickets for Diwali holidays from Mumbai to Cochin, Travel date 22nd October, in Air India Express fight No IX204/22OCT
                                        I booked my tickets on 11th July. At the booking time the ticket charges for all airlines was almost same, a few thousands difference was only there. Since Air India Express was offering the lowest among them. I booked that ticket charges was Rs 7000 for 3 adults and 1 Infant. After two months time, on 15th September i received a mail that ticket charges collected and displayed at the time of booking was wrong, i have to pay Rs.2200 Extra per passenger. So total charges for 4 passengers will be Rs 13800. Which is the same as all airlines are charging as on today.
                                        Knowing that, closer to Diwali holidays all airline will hike the charges. I had booked the tickets 3 months prior to get the lowest fair.
                                        This is not a mistake, if it was a mistake it should have been corrected within few days .This is purposefully hiking the charges, either they have to adjust the tickets to some other passengers and make more money or they know at this late time we will not get any other booking so we will pay whatever the charges they ask.
                                        Please help me on this I had already booked my return tickets and arranged the all accommodation facilities also. This is an injustice to a ordinary man like me.They are saying either you can cancell the tickets or can pay the amount.
                                        If tomorrow after bording the flight if they say i have to pay still more money. what will we do??. so Please take this as an serious issue and kidly do the needful
