Dear Sir,

I would like to submit that at the time of flight Ticket booking on 23rd June’13 by my Travelling Agency M/s. Cyber Dotcom Cachar, Assam Mail Id.[protected]@gmail.com Mobile No-[protected]) as well as myself have been informed about the booking status of Flight Tickets on my Mobile - [protected].

However, on reaching at the Bhuvaneswar Airport on scheduled Date & time on 04th Aug'2013, I have been informed by the Airline Staff at Bhubaneswar that the flight was already cancelled. I regret to say that neither myself or to my travel agency have been informed about the cancellation of flight. I submit that I had travelled along from Visakhapatnam to Bhubaneswar on train to catch the flight.

I have been told by the bhubaneswar airline staff that I have to make alternate arrangement at my own. Because it was compulsion that I had to catch another flight for Silchar from kolkata on next day early morning on the same continuous Ticket. Fortunately, there was a Indigo flight at 7.30 PM at Bhubaneswar for kolkata. I have arranged money from some alternate source at Bhuvaneswar for purchase of Ticket in Cash at Rs.2752/= which must be compensated by Air India along-with equal amount for tension giving. Totalling Rs.5504.00.

My grievance must be heard upon & request to send Draft in my Favour at the below address.

    I had cancelled one airindia express ticket through online on april 08th 2013 as it was purchased through credit card, but the cancellation amount (1060aed) is not yet credited back to my account . its already 3 months passed since the cancellation done, I had sent so many mails regarding this issue to the customersupport of airindia express. but they used to cheat me by sending the same reply that they forwarded the issue to finance department.please take necessary action to solve my issue.

      On 8th of june 2013,I had made my bookings for travelling from trichy to Kolkata on www.makemytrip.com.
      On 10th of june,2013,I had a flight scheduled at 16:30 p.m from trichy airport,to Chennai.
      My reservation and itinerary details was
      FLIGHT DETAILS
      AIR INDIA EXPRESS,TRICHY TO CHENNAI, E TICKET NUMBER – 87N39G
      AIRLINE PNR: 87N39G
      DEPARTURE TIME :20.30 P.M. ARRIVAL TIME: 22.40 P.M.


      Unfortunately, The flight started it’s journey on 18.40 p.m.from trichy airport due to reasons which was not explained to passengers .On entering Chennai airport, I had to go through immigration check and ultimately after collecting my baggage from baggage counter, it was already 20:05 p.m.
      I Had another flight from Chennai to Kolkata on 20.30 p.m.,which I missed as check in time was at least 45 mins prior to scheduled departure
      My reservation and itinerary details for 2nd flight was
      FLIGHT DETAILS
      INDIGO 6E-277,CHENNAI TO KOLKATA, E TICKET NUMBER – RU4LNW
      AIRLINE PNR: RU4NLW
      DEPARTURE TIME :20.30 P.M. ARRIVAL TIME: 22.40 P.M.

      Inspite of repeated requests,the indigo authorities did not allow me to board the flight,instead they told me to buy another ticket for next day’s flight as they would re-schedule it to next day.

      INDIGO 6E-271,CHENNAI TO KOLKATA VIA BANGALORE,BOOKING REFERENCE STATUS – RU4LNW CONFIRMED
      DEPARTURE TIME :9.20 A.M. ARRIVAL TIME 1:15 P.M.
      I ,who was supposed to attend my mother in hospital due to a sudden operation was detained in the airport for 12 hrs and the following morning I had to take another indigo flight to reach Calcutta at 13.20 p.m.,as the next available flight where they could reschedule was this, add to this the extra expenditure I incurred for booking the new ticket .In the mean-while while staying in the airport AIR INDIA authorities shrugged their shoulders off, took no care of what I said and simply dismissed the matter without even caring to listen the whole matter.
      Now my question is, Am I not even eligible to get re-imbursed for the extra cost I spent for making reservation on new ticket next day for a fault committed by AIR INDIA EXPRESS authorities even if I forget 12 hrs o[censored]nending wait in the airport on 10th night and the extreme harassment???????

        Booking Refund

        Sir,

        I had booked a ticket on Air India Express flight IX 384 Dubai-Mangalore on Aug 02,2012.

        The flight was cancelled due to operational issues and i had to cancel the booking and apply for full refund of AED 1031.85.

        The request was send to [protected]@airindiaexpress.in and I always get reply that the request is forwarded to the finance department. (I had send almost 5-6 reminders and always...

        Refund issues I am having:
        I have a serious displeasure over the refund of air ticket (attached with this email) from Chennai to Singapore (Confirmation ID: BTADSU (Chennai to Singapore) scheduled on 10th Feb under my name Akhil Garg.

        As per air India express regulations, cancellation charge is 35% of the basic fare+ transaction fee. In ticket attached, the basic fare is 4700 and therefore the reduction should be 0.35*4700+450 (transaction fee), this equals to 2095. Actual total fare is 10,592.79 so after reduction the refund should be 8497.79 INR. I got refund of only 104.33 SGD which amount to only 4448.15INR.

        Refund according to ticket attached expected : 8497.79 INR
        Refund I am issued: 104. 33 SGD (4448.15INR)

        rules for refund is given in ticket attached.


        I have send around 2-3 emails to the customer helpline and finance officer (2 emails) of air India express at headquarters Mumbai , requesting them to look at the refund of my air ticket. I have received no reply regarding any assurance or so to consider my matter. Besides emails, I have also tried to call Chennai/Mumbai customer helpline of air India express but everytime either they don’t pick up phone and even they pick, they will reply with ‘system error and call us after sometime’. I have explained them everything in my email that refund they gave me according to their regulations is less than what I expected. I have even attached the ticket which I cancelled on 18th Jan, 2013. But they didn’t reply me anything about it. This reflects poor service of air India express and I feel difficult to cooperate with them.

        Humble request:
        I can understand even if this matter is not in your hands but I can kindly request you to forward this complaint to concerned authority for an appropriate action. I would be happy if the airline (air India express) can get back to me and provide me assurance/justification on the refund they gave me during cancellation.

          I was having flight with air india express from amritsar to dubai. The flight num IX 191 Which was scheduled to depart at 1620hrs 18 dec 2012 amritsar to dubai. I was there at counter of airline when it was still one hour to depart. I gave ma ticket and askd for boarding pass. But they told i was late. I questioned them as there was still one hour to take off. But they started arguing n in no time all of them started dominating . I told them this flight was realy important as i am seafarer and my ship wil depart from dubai if i missed . No one listened. And then i asked them how can i cancel and change it to next day. No one answered, they told me i have get new one,which means i lost 500USD aprox. If they wished the staff would have got me on that flight. The readiculous behaviour was untolerable.i dont want any compensation or refund,but a strict action against those. And airline must undrstand that all pasengers must treated equally,be it an illitrate or a master. I have seen before the mid aged airhostess of air india shouting n fytng with the passengrs of dubai flights as most of them are less educated travling abroad to earn there livlihood. U must apologize.

            I was having flight with Air india express,flight number IX 191 which was scheduled to take off at 4.20pm on 18th december 2012 from Shri Guru Ram das international airport,Amritsar. I reached airlines counter nearly 1 hour before take off. But they said i was late. And later the way behaved was rediculous. I begged them as the flight was very important to me as i was to join my ship from dubai. Due that stupid crew on ground staff i was not issued boarding pass. And i missed flight. Then i asked them to let me know to get refund and get new tickt from the airport as my ticket agent was more than 120km 4m the airport. They shouted and told my ticket was non refundable and i have get new. If they wanted they could have got me into that flight. But they didnt. I suffrd loss of 300$ aproxx. I want strict action to be taken against those employees so as no other passenger could get harrassed lyk tat.i dont want any compensation but a strict action.t

              I HAd boks Air India Express Ticket (mumbai to Doha) through www.via.com, fkight timings at the time of ticket booking was 19:00 from Mumbai Airport, but on the day of departure when i checked with airline, i was shocked to know that flight timings is preponed and now flight was scheduled to leave at 13:30, that is 5 Jrs 30 mins before departure time as per booking.

              I have received refund from Airline is Just 4080/- even though actual booking amount paid to Airline was Rs 7,980.61

                Every one I like to inform every one and also like to raise a complain all the passenger who travel By AIR INDIA EXPRESS, I had a bad experience when I was traveling From Mangalore to Doha With My wife and my child, the staff are so rude and lot of harassments from staff till the security in the Mangalore Air Port, trying to open all the baggage’s creating problems to the passengers unnecessarily without any strong reasons, its has been noticed that the new ways to make money is that for access baggage weight where they have Set the electronic weigh machine is to 5kgs More then the normal, usually we weigh our baggage’s from our manual weigh machine, which may have some error, considering this and taking this point in mind we reduce our things much more then the luggage allowance to avoid the charge of access luggage, but still every one find the weight more then what they expect, so the Air Port make a good profit of this charging Rs. 475/- per kg, and next thing is that after boarding the flight they don’t provide any kind of food or a glass water for hours after the take up where we find and face tuff time due to the flight is at 7Am and we had to report to the Airport at 5Am without having a proper breakfast, mean while I would like to tell you that I had booked my flight at 8 Am and at last movement I was lucky enough to know that have called me and informed me the flight time has changed to7 Am or else it would be another problem that i may miss the flight, later one board the seats of the flight is such a bad condition that we cannot even lean back,, traveling for hours its normal that passengers may need some entertainment for getting bored, but in this flight they take another advantage of the passenger to make money that is the drop down the TV screen with a movie which is of their own choice and each TV provided for 2 passengers where it cant even watched properly with fading effect on it, and try to sell the headphones to hear the Audio of the movie, and this headphones are waste after they use in in the aircraft because its not useful for any audio equipment, later on the food supplied is not even worth for animals to eat, such kind of food are supplied for passengers, were I noticed everything is returned back to dustbin when gathering back, After that comes liquors for selling like whisky wine bear etc to make again some bossiness in the board ,The Airlines are taking advantage as there are no other international flights from Mangalore where the passengers are helpless and forced to take a direct flight from Mangalore. This flights does not have any accurate timings and can change their timings at anytime, more over flights also can cancel any movement and even refund not available so we can take any other flight to avoid delay even though the fault and delay is from their side. earlier I have noticed there were 2 flights in a week and now its 1 flight for a week witch is not reliable, the timings are very early morning which is makes in convince to all passengers who are traveling, The Air India Express is not bothered of giving a good service but trying to make Money and take advantage of the passengers who are helpless, and they say the flights are going in loss may be this is th reason they try to recover their loss in this kind of business, even though they don’t have any feelings of Air crash took place recently, and passengers traveling in this are flying with risk, comparing to this I really appreciate Emirates Airlines which I use to fly from Bangalore to Doha, Via Dubai, but I do enjoy the good service , I had 8Kgs of access baggage were I was not charged any this extra for this due to the kindness of the airlines, the baggage allowance was 30Kg and the Hand bag allowance was 7kgs ,and the cabin crew I found were polite too, the food was excellent , and they had provide a free TV to each seat in front of the passengers with a control box hanging were we can select movie ,songs and games to kind along with a free head phones, there was also a night lamp where we can use it for our convenience, tea coffee are provide to everyone on request any time when they needed it, they also provide toys ,color pencil blankets to kids and children with some special gifts which makes children happy to enjoy the journey, it was said Emirates Airline gets Award every year for the best service and performance, but just I had taken a chance in the Indian Express that to avoid traveling to Bangalore to take this fight, that was a mistake I had made and faced this problem, or else traveling to Bangalore is not so tuff as there are more then 400 luxury super deluxe AC buss Pvt and Govt, every day too and fro, where we don’t even find tired after a sleep in the sleeper coach and next morning reaching to Bangalore, Airport busses are available from the buss stop which makes passengers convenient, and the New Bangalore International Airport is excellent comparing to Mangalore Airport, so I request and cooperate all who have gone thorough this problems and also join hands to teach them a lesson, that the Airlines are for the service of People and its not that the People are here to give them business and take advantages of them, And stop to put an end to this Monkey Business.

                worst sevice

                air india express is the worlds worst air service and customer relation. i am planning to sues the company. i will sent a letter to the aviation ministry, PMO, and other offices to issue warning to the company.

                  On 21 st october when I was trying to book two to -fro flight tickets(Total 4 tickets) from Mumbai to Trivandrum through Air India site,After the payement was done the the transaction ended with a 401 ERROR!!

                  After Half an hour an amount of 19,636.00 was debited fro my account(XXXXXXXXXX9627) And did not get any tickets either.I spoke with air india express ,and they told the ticket is not booked.

                  Its has been alreday 4 days and didnt get the money back yet.

                  The transaction is done to CCA12JODW152-Avenues India Ltd as per the bank statement.
                  So please refund the amount .

                    Dear Sir/Madam,

                    I have booked airticket for my family (Confirmation No. S44UUX & PNR: IX[protected] on 29 February 2012 to fly from Dubai to Tiruchirappalli for the date 31 May 2012, later we cancelled our booking on 30 May 2012 following the airline cancelled their flight, but we still not received the refund amount even after 5 months of booking cancel.

                    I made several email communications to the customer support of air india express, but we always received a typical copy/paste response " forwarded your case to accounts/finance department", and some times no response even after several reminders.

                    Originally, I purchased this airticket using my credit card on 29 February 2012, and the bank will charge me an interest rate of 3% per month against the credit card nonpayment, who will pay this interest? Apart from this bank interest, i suffered a lot of mental tension and frustrations to followup this matter with customer support of the airline, for which the airline should compensate me for all these frustrations. More over the airline cancelled the flight without giving any information to the passenger, thus created me a loss of AED 2,000/- to book airticket from other airline at the last moment, who will pay this loss?

                    Please take necessary action against the airline (air india express) to recover my refund, losses and compensations.

                    Air tickets — About travesty of eZeeGo

                    Hi All,

                    My collegues have booked the tickets to Goa from Hyderabad through this site on 50% cash back offer using ICIC Credit Card.
                    The amount has debited from account but got a mail that transaction has failed and when they called to call center there is no response, Nobody picking up the phone.

                    I strongly recommend that not to use this fraudulent service.
                    we should protest banks for keeping tie up with this kind fraud companies.

                    I had bought two tickets- Delhi to Nagpur of Sahara Air on 6th May, 2006, by Internet.

                    But the flight was No Show, hence when I immediately had asked for refund of taxes at the Delhi Airport Sahara counter, I was told that it would be refunded in my account automatically. But it was never refunded, even after making several request through local ( Nagpur) Sahara office also. In the last I had sent an email to Sahara India Pariwar office. I got a plain reply from it as mentioned bellow:

                    Air tickets — Less Amount of refund than actual amount

                    I am Lokesh Kumar Swarankar .I had book a spicejet ticket from Ahmadabad to Delhi and return trip from Delhi to Ahmadabad, date of booking 4th oct 2010 and journey date 12th oct 2010. I booked these ticks from make my trip .com Make my trip booking id is NF[protected]. Spicejet PNR No is I5KBBI, Now I had canceled both tickets on 11th oct 2010 via airline directly. Air line told me that an amount of RS 4953 is refunded to make my trip agency via which I booked these tickets , but I received a refund amount of RS 1537 & 1666 Total amount is RS 3203 only which is less then actula refund amount

                    Where airline cancelation charge are RS 750 per passenger per sector , so total amount for cancelation should be RS 1500 +250(make my trip charges) and a refund of RS 4953 should be deposits in my account.

                    i had called make my trip more then 20 times and send many mail to them evert time they assure me to refund with in 48 to 72 hrs but i didnt get rest amount

                    Indian Airlines — Refund not paid after 5 months

                    I had a booked an airticket on Indian Airlines flight for return trip between Chennai - Calicut for two passengers.The ticket was booked through the indian airlines website.
                    Date of travel : Chennai to Calicut - 6/2/2011
                    Return : Calicut to Chennai - 27/02/2011
                    Date of Issue : 14/08/2011.

                    total cost : INR 8096

                    On the 6th of february when the travellers reported at the Indian sirlines counter at Chennai airport, they were informed that service provider ( IC) does not operate the Chennai-Calicut sector during Winter at all. This information was not provided earlier.

                    The duty officer at the counter acknowledged a full refund with a seal and signature, a copy of which is attached.Further, we were informed to mail a scanned copy to Indian airlines at the mail id "helpdesk.[protected]@indian-airlines.nic.in" for a the total refund ( for both ways travel ).

                    A mail was sent to the email id "helpdesk.[protected]@indian-airlines.nic.in" on the 15th of february.As I received no reponse/communication even after 15 days, I tried calling the toll free no[protected]. I was provided the following numbers to seek help:
                    [protected] / 75. Further on contacting these numbers, either they are continuosly engaged or i was asked to call the toll free number[protected].

                    Obviously not satisfied with the response, I collected some information from the net and identified the following email IDs for customer service :

                    A mail was again sent with all details on the 14th of march 2011, however, till date I have not received any response from Indian airlines.

                    I have not been successful in getting refund after 2 months, since the lapse of travel date.

                    Please help in getting a refund of Rs 8098.

                    Air india customer service is pathetic.. i cancelled my e-ticket from JFK to mumbai and everyday i keep calling them for processing refund. nobody bothers to reply to email. US customer service everyday gives a new number to contact. They have two landlines in Delhi in main booking office and they are always busy.. i had this extremely bad experience and i will never travel with this freaking airline.

                    I am hoping they will look into the issue and process the refund ASAP.

                      I have purchased a ticket from Lucknow to Dubai for the date of April 02, 2012.

                      I try to extend my journey date but the air india express website was not working that time , I contact Dubai office and India office both . Every where told me that website is not working and you have purchased this ticket through Credit Card, so I am unable to help you at this time .

                      I again contact dubai office & told him that I want to cancle ticket. He (Dubai Office) told me that you need to contact Lucknow office for cancellation & refund, then I contact Lucknow airport office, he told me that date is over so I should contact HAZRATGANJ OFFICE, Lucknow. When I contact Hazratganj office then he gave me an email id tarun.[protected]@airindia.in and told me that send a request at this email then you will get some codes/permission after this you can cancle your ticket online.

                      I send many mails / reminders ( more than 100 reminders ) at email id tarun.[protected]@airindia.in, [protected]@yahoo.co.in, [protected]@yahoo.co.in, [protected]@airindiaexpress.in, lko.[protected]@airindia.in but I have not received any response from these email ID. Only customer support reply me back that "we have sent a message to the airport to confirm that the passenger
                      was ‘No Show’. As soon as they confirm that the passenger had not traveled, we will
                      change the Status/Unblock your PNR so that you can collect applicable refund." but till time our PNR status is locked our issue is still while more than 5 months passes.

                      Hello,
                      Every one I like to inform every one and also like to raise a complain all the passenger who travel By AIR INDIA EXPRESS, I had a bad experience when I was traveling From Mangalore to Doha With My wife and my child, the staff are so rude and lot of harassments from staff till the security in the Mangalore Air Port, trying to open all the baggage’s creating problems to the passengers unnecessarily without any strong reasons, its has been noticed that the new ways to make money is that for access baggage weight where they have Set the electronic weigh machine is to 5kgs More then the normal, usually we weigh our baggage’s from our manual weigh machine, which may have some error, considering this and taking this point in mind we reduce our things much more then the luggage allowance to avoid the charge of access luggage, but still every one find the weight more then what they expect, so the Air Port make a good profit of this charging Rs. 475/- per kg, and next thing is that after boarding the flight they don’t provide any kind of food or a glass water for hours after the take up where we find and face tuff time due to the flight is at 7Am and we had to report to the Airport at 5Am without having a proper breakfast, mean while I would like to tell you that I had booked my flight at 8 Am and at last movement I was lucky enough to know that have called me and informed me the flight time has changed to7 Am or else it would be another problem that i may miss the flight, later one board the seats of the flight is such a bad condition that we cannot even lean back, , traveling for hours its normal that passengers may need some entertainment for getting bored, but in this flight they take another advantage of the passenger to make money that is the drop down the TV screen with a movie which is of their own choice and each TV provided for 2 passengers where it cant even watched properly with fading effect on it, and try to sell the headphones to hear the Audio of the movie, and this headphones are waste after they use in in the aircraft because its not useful for any audio equipment, later on the food supplied is not even worth for animals to eat, such kind of food are supplied for passengers, were I noticed everything is returned back to dustbin when gathering back, After that comes liquors for selling like whisky wine bear etc to make again some bossiness in the board, The Airlines are taking advantage as there are no other international flights from Mangalore where the passengers are helpless and forced to take a direct flight from Mangalore. This flights does not have any accurate timings and can change their timings at anytime, more over flights also can cancel any movement and even refund not available so we can take any other flight to avoid delay even though the fault and delay is from their side. earlier I have noticed there were 2 flights in a week and now its 1 flight for a week witch is not reliable, the timings are very early morning which is makes in convince to all passengers who are traveling, The Air India Express is not bothered of giving a good service but trying to make Money and take advantage of the passengers who are helpless, and they say the flights are going in loss may be this is th reason they try to recover their loss in this kind of business, even though they don’t have any feelings of Air crash took place recently, and passengers traveling in this are flying with risk, comparing to this I really appreciate Emirates Airlines which I use to fly from Bangalore to Doha, Via Dubai, but I do enjoy the good service, I had 8Kgs of access baggage were I was not charged any this extra for this due to the kindness of the airlines, the baggage allowance was 30Kg and the Hand bag allowance was 7kgs, and the cabin crew I found were polite too, the food was excellent, and they had provide a free TV to each seat in front of the passengers with a control box hanging were we can select movie, songs and games to kind along with a free head phones, there was also a night lamp where we can use it for our convenience, tea coffee are provide to everyone on request any time when they needed it, they also provide toys, color pencil blankets to kids and children with some special gifts which makes children happy to enjoy the journey, it was said Emirates Airline gets Award every year for the best service and performance, but just I had taken a chance in the Indian Express that to avoid traveling to Bangalore to take this fight, that was a mistake I had made and faced this problem, or else traveling to Bangalore is not so tuff as there are more then 400 luxury super delux AC buss Pvt and Govt, every day too and fro, where we don’t even find tired after a sleep in the sleeper coach and next morning reaching to Bangalore, Airport busses are available from the buss stop which makes passengers convenient, and the New Bangalore International Airport is excellent comparing to Mangalore Airport, so I request and cooperate all who have gone thorough this problems and also join hands to teach them a lesson, that the Airlines are for the service of People and its not that the People are here to give them business and take advantages of them, And stop to put an end to this Monkey Business.

                        Today's date is[protected]. I booked ticket for April 12,2012. I couldnt cancel that ticket by online. I sent mail for cancellation and waiting till now to get my refund. I have called numerous time and mailing them continuously. No response from them on refunding. Even i visited twice to their office but i get poor response. I will give a perfect zero for customer satisfaction.

                          My ticket reference number is 8LMFCP. I had booked this ticket for my flight from Dubai to Kochi on 15th May 2012 However the flight was cancelled about which i was informed only a day before and i had to scramble at the last moment to get reservation in another flight. I also cancelled my return flight with Air India Express. I have sent numerous emails on this to customer care and i am still awaiting my ticket refund. There is no customer care number to call and talk to Dubai. Air India Express only has a travel agent here in Dubai. It took me an hour to get there, 2 hours to talk to someone and still the matter was not resolved. They asked me to talk to the customer care in Mumbai and finally i got a number. However this number is always engaged. After trying for days, i got hold of someone on phone and this person told me that my complaint will be forwarded to finance. This was almost a month ago. Today is August 29th. Its been 3.5 months and i am still awaiting my ticket refund. My only piece of advice to anybody who reads this. Even if you have to pay a bit extra, please use Emirates/Etihad/Air Arabia to fly to your home town. Air India Express is totally unreliable, cares a damn for its customers and in this has even gone to the extent of stealing my money.

                            I purchased 4 tickets for the sector Calicut/Dubai online for my family to travel on 18th February and unfortunately, we were forced to return from the Check-in desk due to my Child's Passport expiry. The whole family's trip were cancelled since we were not in a position to leave this child alone (he is a down syndrom boy) and requested the check-in desk for giving us an opportunity to change the date but refused due to the cancellation policy. Neither the check-in desk nor the Air India Express office at Calicut were helpful and forced us to accept the terms. The following are the details:

                            Seat reservation

                            I reserved 14 A for adequate leg space, when I seated it was 14 A but seats are not as exit seat it was normal. The question I paid extra for this seat and it was not the same no one for courtesy explained or applogize. Where and how I can claim this.

                              Dear Sir,

                              I has issued a ticket on 19 March 2012 using my Emirates NBD debit card to travel from Dubai to Mangalore on 19th May 2012, and later we want to travel to different destination we had cancelled the ticket prior one month and it has been notified to me that refund will credit to my account within 15 working days, But its almost 4 months passed and i still didnt hear any news from them. I send almost 100 mails claiming the refund to [protected]@airindiaexpress.in & hb.[protected]@airindia.in, and even they are not replying to mail and i called to the mumbai office and they told that they will do the needful and still now no response and the worst part is that sometimes they will answer and hold the phone and even they will not talk to us, just now i called them at[protected] and happened the same, they are holding my call, and mine is international call as i am in UAE and lose good amount to follow-up about my refund.
                              Hereby requesting you to do the needful as i am really fedup with this poor services from Air India Express.

                                Booking ref: Q2WRJO - 25th May 2012

                                On its mercy the airlines cancelled the flight and a full refund was offered. Being on-line booking; promptly also done on-line cancellation. however did not get full refund. Still Rs.3400.00 is pending to be refunded

                                Have been chasing through emails; nothing seem to come forward. Neither a response from "[protected]@airindiaexpress.in"

                                Phone lines always busy - perhaps the traditional "Keeping the receiver off hook" is being applied. i have been given their regional manager - Prahaladan phone:[protected] .. keeps ringing no answer

                                Appreciate the procedure to chase the guys for balance refund

                                Should i pursue legal action

                                  I am an extremely unhappy customer of Air India Express Airlines. Following is an excerpt of the sequence of events:

                                  We booked 2 tickets on April 9, 2012 from Mumbai to Cochin, Itinerary # FRUQ6M. DEPARTURE:Tue-14/08/12 17:15.
                                  We booked 2 more tickets, one for Aug 25, 2012 Mumbai-Cochin and another one scheduled for Aug 28, 2012 for the same sector. These were booked on April 18, 2012.
                                  We also booked 4 tickets for 11th Sept 2012 from Cochin to Mumbai.
                                  We received an email from the Air India Express customer care informing us of cancellation of the flight dated 11 Sept, 2012 due to 'Operational Reasons'.
                                  We had to rebook these tickets that costed us approximately Rs 670 additional which means approx a total of Rs 2500 for all 4 people.
                                  We then received an email (no SMS or other means of communication) from Air India Express informing us on July 23 that the flights dated Aug 25 and Aug 28 have also been cancelled. Since we did not have access to internet, we did not see this email until Aug 5, 2012. By now any flight from Mumbai to Cochin is costing us about Rs 6000 /- per person.

                                  I tried calling various numbers on Aug 6, 2012 of Air India Express given on the website and well as provided to me by rude and unhelpful customer service representatives but not one number was of any use to me. Following are the numbers mentioned on the website:

                                  The behaviour on the part of Air India Express employees as well as the company as a whole is pathetic when it comes to consumers. Just refunding us the money we paid for the tickets is not enough because we'll end up spending so much more in getting last minute tickets for 4 passengers. This is criminal and extremely irresponsible behaviour on the part of Air India Express. I writing this email with the hope that someone in an authoritative position could understand the mental trauma we had to face due to the entire issue. This was a planned trip to see an ailing family member but no one seems to understand that.

                                  In addition, I am also copying this email to the Consumer Complaint Guidance Department to keep them in the loop of the mal practices at Air India Express and will seek legal help if need be to address this issue. I expect an immediate reply from whomever is in charge informing me what is being done to get me out of the situation that Im facing alongwith my family without any more additional expenditure caused to us.

                                  To summarise, I expect Air India Express to rebook flights for one for Aug 25, 2012 (1 person) and another one for Aug 28, 2012 (1 person) on any flight they can arrange at the same amount we spent to get the original tickets.

                                  Air India Express — Cancellation of flight

                                  I had booked a flight from Ahmedabad to Kohzikode (Calicut) via Mumbai on 5th January 2011. The flight has got cancelled due to techincal reasons from Mumbai to Calicut. the only option now the airline gives me to reschedule the flight to another day or take full refund. In either case I am going to make a loss by either paying or losing a day's hotel accomodation in kannur or ending up paying for more for the flight i will book now which are much more costlier than what i have paid for my flight intially. I guess action needs to be taken for companies that they need to accomodate on the same day or reimburse additional expenses incurred for cancellation.

                                    Myself, the undersigned. have purchased a ticket with PNR # IX11563926, during the month for February 2012, for travelling from Dubai to Kozhikkode on IX 344 on 16.08.2012 and paid AED AED 2071.88 for the same.

                                    Last thursday, July 19, 2012, I have received an email from " [protected]@airindiaexpress.in ", stating that the above highlighted flight which I have chosen has been cancelled. Immediately, I tried to contact Local Air India Express Office, but no one answered.

                                    As this is a busy, season, I opted for alternate travel option and purchased a new ticket with another airlines, paying double amount. This act by Air India Express created mental agony and shock for me and family and we felt tortured, insulted and humiliated due to non response.

                                    On Saturday, I have visited the nearest AIR INDIA EXPRESS office in Dubai, to cancel my ticket wherein it was informed that the email was a system generated one passing a false information, and the flights Monday / Wednesday and Thursday are flying as usual. And they advised to contact Air India Express Office in Mumbai through "[protected]@airindiaexpress.in" email, for further assistance. And I dint receive any reply yet, eventhough full refund was assured by the cancellation email and as per the Air India Express Dubai Office.

                                    In this contest, I wish to move a complaint, for getting compensation for the hardship I faced.
