My father travelled from Amritsar to Dubai (IX 191) on December 19, 2013. We requested for wheelchair as he cannot walk without support. With great difficulty, we managed to get him a wheelchair at the Asr Airport. After he boarded he told the airhostess that he would need wheelchair when they land. Much to our disappointment and Inconvenience, the crew said they were helpless, did not even care to help him with luggage. He is an old man, who walks with support and these Inhuman insensitive staff failed to do their duty as well. He had no choice but to somehow drag his luggage. A co-passenger was nice enough to help him during immigration procedures. But it took him 2 hours to get out of the airport after landing as none of the Air India Express employees cared even though the wheelchair requirement is clearly mentioned on the ticket. Such a shame we are an international airline! Here are the details if at all you would care in the least to correct such negligence, insensitive act. Passenger Name: Narinder Kumar Pathak

I had booked my tickets for travel between Dubai to Mangalore on Air India express on the 2nd of June and the due date for travel was in October. Due to change in plans. i had to cancel my tickets on August 22nd and was told that the amount would be refunded back to me within 14 days time. However, after 2 weeks, i.e 4th of September, 2013 I got a strange reply from Air India mentioning that the ticket amount had already been refunded on the 2nd of August. We sent them a reminder on the 12th of September, 29th September, 30th September, October 5, October 9, October 23rd, November 12th, November, 28th and today December 23rd. All I get in response is that they are following up on this. I wonder if they take so long to get a refund, do they also wait so long for their passengers to pay for their tickets. If so want to make a booking and will pay only after 6 months.

I had a problem in my online booking and I spoke to Air India express office in Trivandrum. The person spoke to me asked me to reach the cost of ticket in Cash and my passport. I sent my wife with required items and on reaching they said they need return ticket since its a tourist visa. I was on phone with my wife as the time was close 4.45 pm. I have told them that I will give the PNR of my return ticket or I can sent the ticket my mail. They were reluctant to accept both and one Mr Gopi was the leader who was in a hurry to close the office being Saturday. If employees like Mr Gopi had shown 10% of enthusiasm what he has shown for closing the office for doing business Air India Express could have flourished. We want to promote Public sector, but the employees like Gopi never allows...

My son about to aboard from Chennai to Colombo on 21 of Nov, 2013 but he was denied giving boarding pass by asking him to pay Rs.2000/- for excess baggage. He was carrying only 24.5 kg totally with hand baggage. Normally 20+7 allowed. We are very much doubtful that there is some fraudulent practices is going on in weight etc. And the wort thing is the counter staff was very rude with perfunctory.

I cancelled booking ref. EVHXZ9 by Air India Express on June 28th, 2013. When followed up on the status, AIE customer service informed that the payment has already been transferred to my account but when I checked with my bank I found that AIE has not transferred the refund amount. Then the AIE Customer service informed that that matter has been advised to their Finance Dept. but there after no response to emails no. I am totally disappointed with such a service from the National Carrier. The sector booked was Sharjah-Cochin-Sharjah. AIE customer support last correspondence to me is copied below:- On Aug 13, 2013 3:12 AM, "customersupport" <[protected]@airindia.in> wrote: Dear Sir / Madam, We are constantly keeping a track of your case and shall revert to you As soon as possible. I am Abdul Shamnad booked ticket for me and my wife through online. for me an up and down ticket from London Heathrow airport to Cochin and for my wife Cochin to Heathrow for 14th August. (PNR : H921B). then I extended this ticket to 26th October. on 24th October at 4.30 IST, I called Air India Customer Care cell to make an enquiry about extension procedure and notional charges. i enquired them that will the ticket hold for 10th of next month and they answer that they cant. then i enquired about the extension charges and also about the "Notional charges". the call taken by a lady, she said that the extension charges be as earlier that is around Rs.11000 for us. then she said that about notional charges and mislead me and make a big loss for us. she said that the notional charge will be "Rs. 200" only per passenger. i again asked her is it "200 rupees" and she confirmed that it is "Rs.200" with extension charges payable if the extension not done before 24 hours of the journey. 200 rupees per head is a small amount and i thought that it will be extended on this Saturday and again make a call to them. again the call took by a lady and she said that the notional charge be "GBP 200" per passenger. what a difference?? due to the false information provided by the executive on 24th october, i need an extra 40000 Rupees. how can i bear such a huge loss? this is not a problem for them.. if they not gave such a wrong information, i can extend the ticket without such big amount. they can simply make a negligence and it suffered by me. i need an immediate solution for this problem caused with the clear negligence from the part of Air India. my contact no: [protected]. my mail id is "[protected]@gmail.com". hoping a just consideration and valuable reply, yours faithfully, Abdul Shamnad

Respected sir, Today early morning my son Mr.Mehardeep Chhaykar was supposed to fly to Dubai on flight no-IX-191and attend an exam tomorrow after playing a Rajiv Gandhi international cricket tournament in Panchkula. He had no luggage of ant sort other than his cricket kit and and a small attache with 3 pairs of clothing. The person on duty after seeing his passport with visa of different country stamped demanded Rs-100000 without receipt for which my son refused and was agreed to travel without his kit as the team was leaving from Chandigarh to new Delhi on 08/10/2013 by Ek 515.They made him run here and there to waste his time till his flight took off.Being a frequent players travelling and for the first time has faced such a problem. But not issuing a boarding pass does not make sense and being a NRI who was visiting his grand parents in Jalandhar after a tournament. I have written a letter to the chief minister Punjab and Aaj tak. Their behavior was very rude and not willing to talk.I had to book an another ticket AI 0462 Atq-Dli and Ai-0995 Dli -Dxb And mail it to him. When he went to collect it they said you should have at least paid Rs-5000 and not created a fuss about it.I would request you to go in to this matter seriously and see all the footage on the CCTV and if i come across this gentlemen he will going for good.As my son is of only 19 years of age and has been staying in Dubai for the past 13 years..I want to know what will be the status of that ticket and waiting for areply as soon as possible and wont sit quiet till this matter is solved Regards Harindeep

IX 537 AUH - TVC dated 21 August 2013 was iniitially delayed; reason claimed by captain is that slot to take off is not available and captain is trying his best; however, after one hour, captain abandoned the flight. Living arrangements were not provided to passengers on visit visa to UAE who were leaving UAE. No firm information on time of resumption of the flight. Ladies children and strange gents are asked to rest in crowded lounge! The callous attitude of the staff adds insult to the injury.

The refund amount AED.1,273.35 is not yet credited in my Credit Card (master card). I have been sending emails to customer support several times and they reply saying they have forwarded my query to their finance dept. The fact is I yet to get the refunded money.

                                    Dear Sir,

I would like to submit that at the time of flight Ticket booking on 23rd June’13 by my Travelling Agency M/s. Cyber Dotcom Cachar, Assam Mail Id.[protected]@gmail.com Mobile No-[protected]) as well as myself have been informed about the booking status of Flight Tickets on my Mobile - [protected].

However, on reaching at the Bhuvaneswar Airport on scheduled Date & time on 04th Aug'2013, I have been informed by the Airline Staff at Bhubaneswar that the flight was already cancelled. I regret to say that neither myself or to my travel agency have been informed about the cancellation of flight. I submit that I had travelled along from Visakhapatnam to Bhubaneswar on train to catch the flight.

I have been told by the bhubaneswar airline staff that I have to make alternate arrangement at my own. Because it was compulsion that I had to catch another flight for Silchar from kolkata on next day early morning on the same continuous Ticket. Fortunately, there was a Indigo flight at 7.30 PM at Bhubaneswar for kolkata. I have arranged money from some alternate source at Bhuvaneswar for purchase of Ticket in Cash at Rs.2752/= which must be compensated by Air India along-with equal amount for tension giving. Totalling Rs.5504.00.

My grievance must be heard upon & request to send Draft in my Favour at the below address.
