Sub: Ticket cacellation Refund amount

PNR : IX10515774

Dear Sir,

This has reference to the above mentioned subject and the PNR IX10515774. The above mentioned tickets were made for Kochi-Delhi for journry on 29 th Aug 2011. Later the flight was cancelled due to one inident happened on runway on that day and airport was closed for that day.

I have booked ticket online so i was told by customer care pleases cancel your ticket online you will get full amount refund. i did so but i received only 2883 Rs. whereas the full amount was 4533 Rs.

Request you to help me to get remaining amount.

    I booked ticket in Air india express and saved Rs 200 compared to other airlines.

    Since I wanted to make modification in the ticket, I tried calling customer care and to my surprise, none of the customer care is answering the phone.

    I tried calling delhi, mumbai, mangalore, pune, chennai and nobody answers, Few numbers given in the website are not working.

    From chennai, I tried calling to delhi customer care number mentioned in the website, but they refused to help and transferred the call...This happened many times and finally I lost more than what I saved when compared to other airlines.

    I would suggest not to book in air india express airlines. worst customer care service.

      I would advise not to book any ticket in airindia express airline.

      I have booked chennai -colombo ticket and wanted to modify name info and I tried to call customer care.
      Trust me, I have been trying all the customer care of chennai, delhi, hyderabad, pune, mumbai and nobody answers.

      Finally I got connect to delhi customer care and said they can't help and try to give direct number. That number is not in use and they answer that's the only number.

      I have not seen such a poor customer care service like air india express.

      Advising to go for other airline even if it is 300Rs more than air india express...

        I have booked a flight Sharjah-Cochin in August 2010 on Air India Express, Online using credit card.
        The day before the flight, I was informed that the flight is cancelled and I'm eligible for a 100% refund of the ticket.

        Some how I managed to book another flight and cancelled the AirIndia ticket. But I received only 70% of the ticket.
        I communicated to the AirIndia express customer care by emails and also by Phone(Spent almost Rs.1000/- by phone and sent more than 10 emails). They told, they have forwarded the case to their financial department, and so far almost 8 months, I havn't received any response from them.

        Please advise..what to do with this national air carrier!

          Terrible Experience with Air India Express Singapore to Calcutta flight

          I took IX 933 flight from Singapore to Calcutta on Friday (June 10 2011). My flight experince was ok but when I landed to Calcutta airport with mt friend from Singapore I was surprised to know that check-in baggage of more than 50% passengers didn't arrived Calcutta airport. Lucky my friend from Singapore didn't had any check-in bag. It 2 days now and after calling them several time I am still haven't got the answer when I will get my baggage. It has been a harrasement to me and my friend as first we waited for more than 2 hours at the airport and then I don't have all the important documents that I need for tomorrow's meeting. I am really disappointed with their service. AIr India express should be black listed. They are not able to maintain bare minimum standards. Moreover, thier staff has not apologized yet even after committing such a blunder. They are not at all customer friendly. Sorry to say my I am never gonna fly Air India from now on although it belongs to my country. It's better to fly by Singapore Airways.

          I know there were more han 50 passengers that night with me who are faching the same problem.

          If I don't get my bag by tomorrow. I will be tking legal action against them.

          I came by the same Air India Express flight (IX- 931) the very next day (11 th June 2011, Singapore to Kolkata) and this time its not 50 % ... its 100 %...they didn't load the baggage of a single passenger from Singapore. Is it a mistake or is it a crime? Sample this...Their staff didnt come down for 1 hour and all the passengers complained to the on duty -airport manager...Despite the manager calling them, they took 1 hour to come and we were left at the mercy of our incompetent government officials. They didn't load the wheel chairs of the disabled passengers also. Its a criminal offense on their part!!! And most probably DGCA is hand in glove with them as this is a frequent occurrence with this particular air lines but no action is being taken against them. The only reason this is happening is because these useless government service guys know that they will not be thrown out of office even if they kill somebody.I had to proceed to Guwahati for my onward journey and i wont be surprised if i have to go back to Kolkata to collect the baggage ...most importantly paying from my own pocket. The people involved from top to bottom should be sent to jail the way Kalmadi and his team of thieves are sent to jail... please support this campaign against Air India Express...atleast remove the suffix 'India' from it as i being a law abiding citizen of Indian republic I feel deeply hurt and disturbed with this CRIME.

            I had booked a seat for 10th June in the Doha bound Air India Express Flight IX457 from Kochi. The booking was made online on 1st June against a payment of Rs7,712/- from my debit card. Due to unforeseen reasons I wanted to cancel the booking, and accordingly on 7th June I retrieved the booking in the website for cancellation. I clicked on the link "cancel PNR', and I was promptly directed to another window which displayed the fare details. There were two links beneath the details, "back" and "continue". I clicked "continue", but I was then taken to a page with a blank box, with a link "new search" beneath it. I then called up the Kochi Air India Office to confirm the cancellation, but was told that I have to report in person at the Kochi Office for the cancellation. But when I reported at the Kochi Air India Office, they told me that since it is a web booking, they can't do anything. I tried several times to cancel the PNR online, but I arrived at the same place in the site where I reached earlier, and the cancellation remained live. For the sheer fault of the airline, I lost Rs7,712/-. -G. Sashikumar, Tripunithura

              I travelled/started on 07/062011 from lucknow (India) by Air India to dubai (dubai international Air port terminal it) by lucknow - Frankfurt (Air India axpress )-Marseille (Lufthansa- Flt. LH 4350) . My checked in Baggage was not handled properly at Frankfurt by AI and hence as on today I have not got my Baggage at Marseille.The tag on the bag is having number tag no. is AI600183.My e-ticket number is IX16080039, my India pass port number is g8071919. And my address at 4’ARABPUR BEHIND MIYAN SAHAB KI TAKIYA in FATEHPUR, 13915 Marseille, Cedex 20. Will you Pl help me getting my baggage delivered at my Marseille address.

                  This is reference to the attached ticket booked for my daughter and the boarding pass issued in flight IX-343 from Calicut to Dubai on 10th May 2011.
                  While booking the ticket I had paid for a selected seat in the front row for my daughter, since she is travelling alone. (seat no 11a alloted instead of 1A)
                  The treatment she got at the airport was so arrogant, and the airport staff was not at all co-operative.
                  Since she is a student, she was not aware of the formalities, and she thought the allotted seat was the requested one.

                    Hi,

                    I had booked a flight from Mumbai to Cochin by Air India Express for thier 6pm flight on 30th Apr. The booking was done almost 2 months in advance. Just a few days before the travel date i get a mail from the airline that the time has been preponed to 5pm. Despite of this i managed to reach the airport check in counter by 4pm. However, i was denied boarding and the reason given was the flight was "Over booked". I was shocked & was highly pained by the way the authorities handled the entire matter. There were around 10 others too who went through the same pain which included an elderly woman along with her grand child. We were given different solutions at different points of time. Finally when we tried to approach the Duty manager, we were denied permission & finally one Mr.Dennis Contractor who claimed to be assistant manager attended us & literally harassed us in the process. He even went on to say, he cannot do anything on this & we can go & talk to their CMD if required. He was not at all empathetic to our cause & highly arrogant. We had to run around in the airport for almost 4 hours & they finally settled with a booking for the next flight of Air India express on 3rd May. Most o[censored]s who were starnded missed an important function at home on 1st May.

                    I cannot understand how an Airline can over book the flight & deny boarding for passengers having confirmed tickets. I think the Airline management & the regulator need to look into this seriously. While for the airline, we might be just one among the million passenger, for me this travel means a lot for meeting some of my important personal commitment. I seek justice & hope this forum will help me in this.

                    Every one I like to inform every one and also like to raise a complain all the passenger who travel By AIR INDIA EXPRESS, I had a bad experience when I was traveling From Mangalore to Doha With My wife and my child, the staff are so rude and lot of harassments from staff till the security in the Mangalore Air Port, trying to open all the baggage’s creating problems to the passengers unnecessarily without any strong reasons, its has been noticed that the new ways to make money is that for access baggage weight where thy have the electronic weigh machine is to 5kgs More then the normal, usually we weigh our baggage’s from our manual weigh machine, which may have some error, considering this and taking this point in mind we reduce our things much more then the luggage allowance to avoid the charge of access luggage, but still every one find the weight more then what they expect, so the Air Port make a good profit of this charging Rs. 475/- per kg, and next thing is that after boarding the flight they don’t provide any kind of food or a glass water for hours after the take up where we find and face tuff time due to the flight is at 7Am and we had to report to the Airport at 5Am without having a proper breakfast, mean while I would like to tell you that I had booked my flight at 8 Am and at last movement I was lucky enough to know that have called me and informed me the flight time has changed to7 Am or else it would be another problem that i may miss the flight, later one board the seats of the flight is such a bad condition that we cannot even lean back, , traveling for hours its normal that passengers may need some entertainment for getting bored, but in this flight they take another advantage of the passeager to make money that is the drop down the TV screen with a movie which is of their own choice and each TV provided for 2 passengers where it cant even watched properly with fading effect on it, and try to sell the headphones to hear the Audio of the movie, and this headphones are waste after they use in in the aircraft because its not useful for any audio equipment, later on the food supplied is not even worth for animals to eat, such kind of food are supplied for passengers, were I noticed everything is returned back to dustbin when gathering back, After that comes liquors for selling like whisky wine bear etc to make again some bossiness in the board, The Airlines are taking advantage as there are no other international flights from Mangalore where the passengers are helpless and forced to take a direct flight from Mangalore. This flights does not have any accurate timings and can change their timings at anytime, more over flights also can cancel any movement and even refund not available so we can take any other flight to avoid delay even though the fault and delay is from their side. earlier I have noticed there were 2 flights in a week and now its 1 flight for a week witch is not reliable, the timings are very early morning which is makes in convince to all passengers who are traveling, The Air India Express is not bothered of giving a good service but trying to make Money and take advantage of the passengers who are helpless, and they say the flights are going in loss may be this is th reason they try to recover their loss in this kind of business, even though they don’t have any feelings of Air crash took place recently, and passengers traveling in this are flying with risk, comparing to this I really appreciate Emirates Airlines which I use to fly from Bangalore to Doha, Via Dubai, but I do enjoy the good service, I had 8Kgs of access baggage were I was not charged any this extra for this due to the kindness of the airlines, the baggage allowance was 30Kg and the Hand bag allowance was 7kgs, and the cabin crew I found were polite too, the food was excellent, and they had provide a free TV to each seat in front of the passengers with a control box hanging were we can select movie, songs and games to kind along with a free head phones, there was also a night lamp where we can use it for our convenience, tea coffee are provide to everyone on request any time when they needed it, they also provide toys, color pencil blankets to kids and children with some special gifts which makes children happy to enjoy the journey, it was said Emirates Airline gets Award every year for the best service and performance, but just I had taken a chance in the Indian Express that to avoid traveling to Bangalore to take this fight, that was a mistake I had made and faced this problem, or else traveling to Bangalore is not so tuff as there are more then 400 luxury super delux AC buss Pvt and Govt, every day too and fro, where we don’t even find tired after a sleep in the sleeper coach and next morning reaching to Bangalore, Airport busses are available from the buss stop which makes passengers convenient, and the New Bangalore International Airport is excellent comparing to Mangalore Airport, so I request and cooperate all who have gone thorough this problems and also join hands to teach them a lesson, that the Airlines are for the service of People and its not that the People are here to give them business and take advantages of them, And stop to put an end to this Monkey Business.

                    I am Dr Rakesh Kumar I was booked on AI20 from Delhi to Kolkota on 15th June 2014.
                    by 14:15 flight I booked my ticket on 22may 2014 so that later on there is no problem with flight.

                    On 15th of June I reached much before time at the airport and I was denied boarding on this flight. I just don't under stand why i was denied boarding I was given simple answer by the desk people that the flight is overbooked.

                    Then I asked for compensation since they booked me on 17:00 Hrs flight.
                    I am a scientist by profession. last night I slept late after finishing the experiment and later I missed the experimental meeting since I rushed to airport to catch the 14:15 flight.

                    and then Air India employee's simply tell you that flight is over booked and you are booked on next flight.
                    This is too much.Over that no one is entertaining you and there is no compensation.

                    I request who ever reads this email or complaint of mine. To compensate for the delay in flight and loss of manly hours of a scientist.

                    I request you to take this matter seriously.

                    I returned to delhi on 1st I has no good access of Internet at Kolkota and I was ill for last few days.
                    That is why I am lodging the complaint now.

                    Fit in food

                    On 25.04.2014 Air India express flight IX 193 from Dubai to Lucknow there was a fly in food when referred to cabin crew they told it is a budget airline and these things are normal.

                      I would like to complain against Air India Express. I had booked (from Dubai) a one way ticket from Jaipur to Dubai for the 8th May 2011 through online website. During the online booking, my credit card was charged for 32693.92 and a reference number was issued. However, due to a malfunction in their website, I did not receive the PNR number nor the tickets in my email.

                      The Dubai office of Air India Express said they are not responsible for online transactions as the transactions are processed in Mumbai office. When I called Mumbai office, they confirmed that the money has been charged but the tickets have not been reserved. However, when I ask them to issue and send tickets, they keep putting me on hold forever and do not respond to my email complaints.

                      After 3 days of trying with more than 40 calls and 11 emails, I have totally given up. Today a lady picked up at Mumbai office and said all the staff is on leave. It is surprising to hear such a thing from an airline customer service department.

                      Now, I am in a fix. Should I book tickets with another airline or keep waiting for Air India Express to send us tickets or refund our money.

                      Air India Express has not only harrased me and my family with their service, but also harmed our worklife as most of the day goes worrying about the money and reaching their them with any mode of communication we can.

                        Air India Express — Irregularity in pricing

                        I bought two tickets online from m/s Air India Express on 08/02/2010. They charged me Rial Omani 307.420(Indian Rs.38,120) for the same.
                        To my surpise after few days I checked the price again It is dropped to Rial Omani 233.420(Indian Rs.28,944) I was charged almost Rs.9176 extra
                        Normally economy airline companys charge less for early booking and charges increase for late bookings. I thought there may be some error in their system and approached their local office here at Muscat.
                        I was even humiliated with the answer I got from their office staff. They say they have not mentioned anywhere that they will charge less for early booking and more for late booking. They say you should never book early.
                        Same air line I travelled earlier and it was not like this. They used ot charge less for early booking. I want your help to get my Rs.9176(or rial omani eq) refund

                          Sir,
                          I am writing this complaint letter, having gone through lots of inconveniences and troubles faced by my wife and my infant boy during my recent trip from Kolkata to Singapore with your Air India Express Staff at the Check-in counter on 28 Dec 2010.

                          Some hardship faced by my family are listed below:

                          1. My wife, my infant son and I have a confirmed ticket from Kolkata to Singapore in Air India Express on 28Dec 2010, 3.25am flight but we were denied blatantly of our seat, for the reason Flight Overbooked.

                          2. At Kolkata check-in counter, the lady staff’s attitude towards my family (with infant) was very harsh and inhuman. She denied any consideration and priority for my infant even after explaining to her that my child was under medication and not feeling well. So we were in Queue for One and half hour before we reach check-in counter and to be denied seat at the end. There was only one lady staff in the Kokata check-in counter, so I believe it will be easy for your office to identify her and take necessary action.

                          - She accused us of not queuing up early to check-in when the seats run out. She is inconsiderate and not fit to serve decent passengers of any flight. Don’t this flight company have any consideration/priority for any infant/sick/elderly/handicapped people? I wonder!

                          3.Our family was rescheduled to fly on 30 Dec 2010, which we did and reached Singapore safely. But the damage has already been done and we have missed important appointments and engagements relating to our works since we have to retain in Kolkata for another two days without any assistance from the flight company. And my infant boy’s health has deteriorated and thus need further medical attention as soon as we reach Singapore.

                          4. This big blunder was committed by one poor inefficient and inconsiderate staff to our family which is hard to tolerate. To add salt to the wound further, she (staff) was never remorseful and not even tried to apologize for the matter.
                          I dont think i will ever take Air India Express Again!
                          I am waiting for the apology letter from the lady staff.

                          Air India — Attitude by the staff

                          i called safdarjung city office of Air India to re route my ticket booked on Air India to US...I was told by the operator that i have to personally come and do the needful. i asked him in today's time why not on phone as the website is unfriendly...he told me that the staff never picks up the phone thats why he suggested. I wanted to make this complaint.that too at the time of national pride like common wealth games, our national carrier is so pathetic and useless to count on.
                          this flight AI Express is such a lousy bus!
                          Dear sirs,

                          This is to inform that the booked Air Ticket from DXB -TVM IX 540 which is schudled on tonight 10:40PM, Passenger Name AJAYAN RAGAVAN but unfortunately the schudle has been changed without any notification /further intimation to the concerned passenger but only we got phone call to the passenger who is not aware on these schudle changes, since then we tried to contact you to re confirm the status, but nobody was attened the call, at last one of your staff picked the phone in this No[protected], and responded us as agreeing that the schudle is changed but the related agency should have called you, you can go from SHJ tonight, so we suggest you this is not satisfied answer from the Air -Lines, we had been proposed to do many thing due to this sudden change of this re route, we are loosing our precious time and money, what is the solution for these type unpleasant occurance which is been occuring often from your Air Lines.who will bare this loss ?
                          I travell flight no. ix191 from amritsar to dubai dated 30sep. The food quality was not bad u call it sooooooooo bad.                           Every one I like to inform every one and also like to raise a complain all the passenger who travel By AIR INDIA EXPRESS, I had a bad experience when I was traveling From Mangalore to Doha With My wife and my child, the staff are so rude and lot of harassments from staff till the security in the Mangalore Air Port, trying to open all the baggage’s creating problems to the passengers unnecessarily without any strong reasons, its has been noticed that the new ways to make money is that for access baggage weight where they have Set the electronic weigh machine is to 5kgs More then the normal, usually we weigh our baggage’s from our manual weigh machine, which may have some error, considering this and taking this point in mind we reduce our things much more then the luggage allowance to avoid the charge of access luggage, but still every one find the weight more then what they expect, so the Air Port make a good profit of this charging Rs. 475/- per kg, and next thing is that after boarding the flight they don’t provide any kind of food or a glass water for hours after the take up where we find and face tuff time due to the flight is at 7Am and we had to report to the Airport at 5Am without having a proper breakfast, mean while I would like to tell you that I had booked my flight at 8 Am and at last movement I was lucky enough to know that have called me and informed me the flight time has changed to7 Am or else it would be another problem that i may miss the flight, later one board the seats of the flight is such a bad condition that we cannot even lean back, , traveling for hours its normal that passengers may need some entertainment for getting bored, but in this flight they take another advantage of the passenger to make money that is the drop down the TV screen with a movie which is of their own choice and each TV provided for 2 passengers where it cant even watched properly with fading effect on it, and try to sell the headphones to hear the Audio of the movie, and this headphones are waste after they use in in the aircraft because its not useful for any audio equipment, later on the food supplied is not even worth for animals to eat, such kind of food are supplied for passengers, were I noticed everything is returned back to dustbin when gathering back, After that comes liquors for selling like whisky wine bear etc to make again some bossiness in the board, The Airlines are taking advantage as there are no other international flights from Mangalore where the passengers are helpless and forced to take a direct flight from Mangalore. This flights does not have any accurate timings and can change their timings at anytime, more over flights also can cancel any movement and even refund not available so we can take any other flight to avoid delay even though the fault and delay is from their side. earlier I have noticed there were 2 flights in a week and now its 1 flight for a week witch is not reliable, the timings are very early morning which is makes in convince to all passengers who are traveling, The Air India Express is not bothered of giving a good service but trying to make Money and take advantage of the passengers who are helpless, and they say the flights are going in loss may be this is th reason they try to recover their loss in this kind of business, even though they don’t have any feelings of Air crash took place recently, and passengers traveling in this are flying with risk, comparing to this I really appreciate Emirates Airlines which I use to fly from Bangalore to Doha, Via Dubai, but I do enjoy the good service, I had 8Kgs of access baggage were I was not charged any this extra for this due to the kindness of the airlines, the baggage allowance was 30Kg and the Hand bag allowance was 7kgs, and the cabin crew I found were polite too, the food was excellent, and they had provide a free TV to each seat in front of the passengers with a control box hanging were we can select movie, songs and games to kind along with a free head phones, there was also a night lamp where we can use it for our convenience, tea coffee are provide to everyone on request any time when they needed it, they also provide toys, color pencil blankets to kids and children with some special gifts which makes children happy to enjoy the journey, it was said Emirates Airline gets Award every year for the best service and performance, but just I had taken a chance in the Indian Express that to avoid traveling to Bangalore to take this fight, that was a mistake I had made and faced this problem, or else traveling to Bangalore is not so tuff as there are more then 400 luxury super delux AC buss Pvt and Govt, every day too and fro, where we don’t even find tired after a sleep in the sleeper coach and next morning reaching to Bangalore, Airport busses are available from the buss stop which makes passengers convenient, and the New Bangalore International Airport is excellent comparing to Mangalore Airport, so I request and cooperate all who have gone thorough this problems and also join hands to teach them a lesson, that the Airlines are for the service of People and its not that the People are here to give them business and take advantages of them, And stop to put an end to this Monkey Business.

                          I had send a driverto sharjah office to pay by cash - visa already send to them by email - the above lady not willing to chk email

                            I was travelled on the 2nd December from Chennai to Trichy (IX 681) from there i have travel to singapore on the 3rd December (IX682). Flight suppose to Departure at 01.10 AM.But there is no information from Airport staf[censored]p to 2.00Am.After they told us they don't have any info.I was seated with remaining passenges in Trichy Airport on the whole night up to 06.30 Am next morning, I was not feeling well on that day it become more worst seadet 7hrs in the Aircon.

                            I was not able to go to my work last 3 days,its case me about 500$

                              I have booked one ticket in online for my wife on Nov 04 2010(PNR : IX[protected]. After booking i have added seat 2F for that ticket. Big surprise is while boarding one of air India staff assigned 18A seat to that ticket. Due to some urgency my wife couldn't check boarding pass while check in time. She noticed the same while entering into the flight. And she informed the same to one of the air hostess. That staff replayed that there is no facility to book seat through online.

                              Further at the time of selection of seat there is not information on web site for any extra fee for seat selection like it is clearly mentioned for extra baggage charges AED 30/- for 10 kg weight

                                Dear Sir/ Madam,

                                I purchase ticket from Air India Express web site to travel from Sharjah to Kozhikode on 8th August 2010. When I reach the air port I knowing that the flight is cancelled. There was no priour information there are more than hundreds of peoples in same venue with facing the same. It cause me some ecnomical and more personal losses as especially I am going for just 6days. So please let me know can I file against them and can ask for the compansation even if I use there service after a day. Please answer me and I would like to do this case with all other passerngers as well who supose to travel in same flight.

                                  On 21st August 2010, I have purchased throught Web of Air India Express (3) Tickets from Mumbai to Bahrain Sector, by paying throught my Visa Credit Card online.

                                  On 25th August 2010, I have received a E-mail from Air India Express, saying that due to operation reason they have cancelled my flight date of travelling on 04 September 2010. Immediately I called to their office in Mumbai, where I was told that, to go to Air India Express Web site and I must cancelled online, than only I will get refund amount back to my Visa Creadit Card betwen 7 - 10 working days.

                                  I asked the Air India Express Executive, why Air India Express can't transfer my refund money back to my Credit card account with immediate effect, as it was the fault from Air India Express, he informed me this is Air India Express Management rules, it will take 7 10 working days only, and not before this days.

                                  If passenger want to cancel or postpone the trip, Air India Express will charge extra fees for that.

                                  I am asking, if Air India Express will cancel his flight before departue of 11 days, than Air India Express must pay the sum of amount to passenger, as Air India Express has cancelled the flight and not passengers.

                                  And more is that, Upon Cancellation of Air India Express flight from Air India Expreess Management, they have no right to keep passengers money with them until 7 - 10 days.

                                  As, I have only limite on my credit card, now I can't purchase other Airlines tickets, as I don't have sufficient balance in my Credit Card, I because have already paid 3 tickets money to Air India Express.

                                  Air India Express should be ban to do such a bad practice with his frequent flayer passenger, liked I am suffering.
                                  It is my advise to all Passengers who want to trave with Air India Express, please stop to travel in Air India Express, this passenger is lucky, atleast he got information before 11 days of departure, As I and several passengers flight cancellation information on arrivals of Airport (Departure Hall).

                                  Please do not travel any more with Air India Express.

                                    I took the Madras Bombay flight on 13th Aug IX602. The schedule departure was 1000hrs. Boarding started at 0945hrs, till the flight took off at 1030hrs there was no AC inside the aircraft, we were continuously reassured by the steward that in the next 5-10minutes we would have AC on. In fact the passengers were sweating. It did not stop here, after we landed at 12noon at Bombay, taxied for about 10min, from 1210hrs to 1230hrs there was no sign of a pickup coach and the AC was shut down. LCC is very well understood by the consumers but not this kind of lack of service. These Government run services should look at Private run LCC to understand how these are run and how they woo customers. Total lack of clarity and complete failure of service levels by Air India Express. Consumers - please boycott AIR INDIA EXPRESS.

                                      A Doha-bound Air India flight’s departure here has been inordinately delayed due to "operational reasons" causing harassment to 160 passengers. Several passengers who are migrant workers said it was for them important to reach workplaces in time. "Majority of passengers booked for the flight were migrant workers in the Gulf. They might even lose the job if they fail to get to their workplace in time", one of the passengers said.

                                      The flight which was to have taken off at 8.45 pm last night was delayed is expected to take off this afternoon, airline officials said, adding the stranded passengers were accommodated in hotels. Some of the passengers complained that they were caught unawares by the delay and the airline officials did not give them any convincing reason for it or specify the exact time when the flight would take off

                                      One of person i know who was traveling all the time in airindia. She knows managers very well. So the head of person always addes millages and she use to give money to airindia indian people. THEY USE TO DO THEIR WORKS AS WELLL.BECAUSE OF MONEY. All the time she use to travel in firstclass all the time she was telling i know the head persons he always adds lotof millages for me. thats called airindia flights. Thats calles airindia managers or employee. Must do something abot this flight and airindia employee.
                                      I have a doubt that why the air India always repeating the same problem in their services. But one-thing I noticed that Air india making same like this problem only the GCC services. Air India also flying to Europe and many more other countries but there anywhere not faced like this problem it means Air India seems the GCC peoples ( GCC Indians) low class people, they can accept any worst type of service like AIR INDIA EXPRESS. but I would like to remind the management of Air India and Indian Government that we are also Indian and we are working here in abroad not only for our personnel development, Also for our country,

                                      If Air india cannot run the good service why the service not handover to any other privet or public service that who can handle perfectly. This is not only my opinion, all the people who staying in the abroad

                                      I am staying in Bahrain, Actually the country is not developed in financially like India even-though here in bahrain there are a good transportation facility including a good Flight service "Bahrain Air". it is good and cheep service

                                      If there is any holidays or festival in India, suddenly Air india will be increasing their charges without any information. Actually Air India is our country flight why they are not co operating with indian citizens, They knows that only the indians flying in Air india ( Other country people will not fly in this worst service, They will get good service for cheeper like bahrain Air )

                                      My strict opinion that no one from abroad ( Middle east ) don't fly in Air India forever. spent 1000 Rs or 2000 Rs more for any other company service and reach in the proper place secure and punctual.
                                      On 17.11.2010 I took AI 844 along my mother from AUH-BOM, we requested for wheel chair for my mom and authority promised to do at Mumbai airport, in boarding pass also it was clearly mentioned about the wheel chair, but at the Mumbai airport not a single staff attended us, flight attenders advised us to go to main terminal building so that we may get the wheel chair, slowly slowly my mom she got down from the air craft and by bus she reached the main building, I tried to fetch wheel chair people, but there too i did not get a single responsible staff who can help us, at last after begging and requesting someone attended us after one hour, even no care for old people, what type of service is this...worst service, no responsibilities towards elderly passengers ..i am forwarding this complaints to save other old people one who can not walk.( REF:AI 844 SEAT NO B30 ABDULREHMAN/AMINABI

                                        I booked tickets for my Sister and Brother-in-law (Senior Citizen) on Air India Express IX 206 from Mumbai to Chennai on May 28, 2010. Flight was scheduled at 6 p.m. They reached airport at 4.30 pm. Air India annouced at 5 p.m. that flight is delay due to technical reason. Rescheduled for 9 p.m. Air India served water to all passengers. The situation was continued and all passengers were given some snacks at around 2 a.m. Today AirIndia simply appoliges for the inconvenience caused due to technical reasons.
                                        My brother-in-law (Senior Citizen) was there in the Airport from Evening 4.30 p.m to next day moring 4 a.m. almost 12 hours.
                                        Like my brother-in-law there were other passengers too were suffering due to this delay. Is there any option to take it to consumer court.
