Aircel has got very poor network and services ... Never buy aircel connection.
It seems you have had a bad experience.I think you should try to refresh your GPRS settings . or else just get to the nearest Aircel store and speak to the customer care there i dont think this should take long to rectify...

    I am having issues in receiving / making calls at my new residence. I have shifted to a new house on monday and there is no signal within the house.

    I have called aircel multiple times and also written to them.

    Phone Model : Nokia 1600
    The area is a residential area there is only one floor apart from the ground floor.

    sir mera phone 5130c hai jismain main aircel number [protected] use kar raha hun but ismain network problem ho rahi hai...
    some priviuos days inconvinieance due to tower ood jata hai
    Though Aircel has a large network in place however since it’s a growing company there are still places which are low network zones due to non availability of towers. It’s a typical problem which may happen to any telecom service provider. My suggestion speak to the customer care and get this sorted out…

    Even i spoke to senior authority person of customer care but instead of solving the problem they are saying as soon as possible done...so please take the action for the same...

    Hi Sir,
    I have an Aircel connection and I am having network issues since Friday, 4th January, 2013. The problem is that I am unable to receive calls and messages and the recorded message says number not in use / number switched off. I have spoken to the customer care executives thrice but they do not know the reason behind this issue and have asked me to simply wait. This is a major problem for me since I am not able to figure out who all are calling me up and hence I am not able to revert back either. Kindly help.
    Most of the times I have received complaints from the Caller that your cell number do not connected in 5 times also. Moreover, I have seen delay in messages delivered to my number.

    I want immediate action to fix the network issues related to [protected] so that the call are connected to my number in a go.

      I recharge my aircel no on 28/July/2009 for rs 98
      now in this plan there is validity of 30 days but i get validity of only 3 days after that 10pKb deducted
      when i complained this to aircel customer care they wrote a complaint about this problem
      ............................but..........but ................they didn't solve my problem till now
      I guess there is a misunderstanding or else a technical error….you should visit any of the Aircel stores.. They will surely help you out and do the needful. Good Luck

        Dear Sir/Madam,


        I have got a call from Aircel network for the Activation of Online Radio, I disconnected the call without choosing any option. After few minutes i got a message that my online radio has been activated. This process is repeated 3-4 times each time i disconnect a call and the company activate different services and charging amount for each services.


        I would like to complaint for the company not only of Aircel but also against TRAI (Telecom Regulatory Authority Of India). i think that people in TRAI take bribe from these private companies to charge an unnecessary tariff for self activated services.
        So that if some one register a complaint against any private telecom company they will not take any action against them.


        This mail is to prevent the corruption.....in these departments

        I agree with you on the fact that if you opt out of a service it should not be activated or charged. However I am sure there is some kind of technicality involved which I causing this problem. I would suggest you to visit the nearest Aircel store and get this rectified. I am sure you would get the required help for your problem.

            This is Rajib Mukherjee. I am having an Aircel number – [protected]. I want to notify few experiences which I got from Aircel.
            It is a long story starting since the activation.

            I am trying to make you understand how pathetic and horrible service they are providing to their customer.

            Complaints :-

            I have a Sevier complains regarding the network for more than one year. I had informed them several times for this same, they are like the dead end, no action has been made. I got only few worthless assurance and fake commitment.
            Problems :-
            My office is at Techonopolis building (12th and 13th floor)where I hardly get any network bar. Sometimes if one or two bar appears then gets disappear automatically if I try to make a call.

            I suddenly found that Jokes Alerts has been activated on my number, when I asked them how it got activated with out my concern, they said that I have activated this alert, I told them if I activate then why should I ask for the same, I told them also by which process I activated they said this information is not showing on their system.

            They had deducted 45/- from my balance for Jokes Alert. I requested them several times to refund the money, they simply said “NO”.

            Impact :-

            I am literally became frustrated and annoyed by using their service, it creates a deep impact in my profession, I never get a incoming call or I cannot make outgoing calls when I am in office
            Many of my clients seemed that I am not interested to receive their calls so I switched off my handset and sometimes they feel I intentionally disconnected their calls and made switch off my handset however the story is different due to the great network coverage of the Aircel I am not able to do so.
            I am suffering a lot mental hazards, my family cannot contact in crisis time also, it has happened four times, my mom had a sever pain in her leg, My wife tried so many time to contact me, I got this information after two hours later from the incident time.

            So I am making this complain and raising my voice for the compensation as I suffered a lot of mental anxiety, frustration and mental hazards, I need the demurrages for my mental harassment I got by using their connection.

            Hey Rajib I completely understand the agony you might be going through due to non coverage. However what I understand of telecom coverage is completely dependent on tower availability and your network zone – and since we know that Aircel is a growing company they are trying to reach out to the maximum. What I would clearly suggest to you in your current situation is to either speak to the customer care or visit the nearest Aircel store and get to the bottom of the problem. I am sure the issues will be gone in seconds…

              very worse network, i have to fix my mobile near the window to communocate. most of time it show a message "error in network connection" please think twice before take it.
              I suggest that u find out the network zone you stay in.. Network availability is based on the tower presence in any area, it might be that your place has a low network area. So just try calling the customer care to sort this one out… or use the ink
              In my house also poor network and complaint for this. They say work is progress for network

                I am a costumer of AIRCELL mobile. i never subscribe or requested for any value added services on on my mobile but company automatically started hello tune on my mobile and deducted 30 Rs. from my balance. I lodged a complaint to costumer care and after 1 week i get back my deducted balance. But 2 week earlier it happen again with me. This time company automatically started news alert which i never requested. I again lodged complaint to costumer care.But this problem is never solved and after 2 or 3 days of news alert they started another service of daily jokes and deducted amount from my balance. 2 or 3 days before they again started hello tune without my request. I lodged complain again and again with every services which i not needed never requested and paying for that. But still their is no solution for that services. I called customer are to talk any higher authority but he or she never picked phone.
                Just few months back I was facing a similar problem…but customer care were able to sort it out…the problem was not with the service but with my phone. I suggest you call them again…or Why don’t you use their customer care link http://www.aircel.com/customer_care/customer_care.asp and connect with them immediately and get a resolution. Or else you could just visit your nearest Aircel store and speak to the nodal officer there
                Same case for me also. I never requested to enable Dialer tune. But they activated by their own. Many times sent message to deactivate it . But no use.

                  Title : AIRCEL SU***

                  Aircel is a worst service provider in India. I am a post paid customer from 3 months and I had numerous bad times with Aircel.

                  1. Poor Network, you remains out of reach most of the time.
                  2. Illiterate/Cheap/Dumbo customer care executives.
                  3. No internet bill payment.
                  4. Very few show rooms and very far.
                  5. For everything you need to run to a showroom i.e. 25KMs away from home. e.g To change the plan, to stop a service. They people dont do anything over phone and internet.They wants you physically in their showrooms for everything.
                  6. Not having basic things like call forwarding/redirecting.
                  7. So called Pocket Internet crawls.
                  8. They can charge you for almost anything. For downloading a song on your mobile(when you even dont know how to do that).

                  In brief : You still have time, flush the SIM card with your potty (thats the best place for Aircel SIM not in your phone) and go for any other service provider. Never wait AIircel to improve them wont. In know this is pain to change the number again and again, but we are customers,who can kick the a** of these [censored] service providers.
                  Aircel is growing company and I feel they doing great in all areas. Since the company is growing they will have certain technical issues which I am sure will be sorted out in no time. I have had some wonderful experiences with Aircel customer care and their in store managers making my journey with them pretty good. I think you just need to spend some time at the Aircel store and sort your problems.
                  I am completely agree with Yogesh, even i had taken a new connection on Friday(18th Sep09) still its not activated...verification is done...i[censored] ask them they will say ur account is activated when i dial the number from another phone it says "the aircel number u called it does not exist"" i informed the same thing to aircell people now they are saying some technical issue...(after verification) last 5 days issue is not fixed...simply i can say that AIRCEL SUCKS...tomorrow i am terminating my connection.
                  hey aircel customer, its true that aircel CC is one of the most sucking part. They talk all goody and promise things but dont keep it up. i m going to terminate my connection. I have an issue to mail to some senior person in the CC. Could any öne provide me wi th the maxis co. Malaysia which has a horrible repo. I have lost INR 201 with no fault of mine. I was promised tat i wud get my bucks refunded. its not the matter of money. I hear frm people they r lootofying custmrs. Many in india r illitrate n hv no idea or access to customer care. So guys check out there r better operators in da market.

Happy to post tis comment tat last 4 days i hv been trying to get back my curreny into my main acct of INR 201 has been credited to my acct. i wud like to thank Mr. Tujmal/Ajmal (sorry m not sure of name CC Ex. Miss Laxmi's team leader and Mr. Hemant Ccr helpd me get back my amt. one thing i have realised u got to fight for ur rights. if v hv a little patience can be dealt wid situation. Thanks.                     Getting nonsense stuff and disturbing calls and messages from aircel number [protected]. please provide me the necessary details regarding this user. User is daily calling and irritating my fiancee.

                      This is in accordance to the negligence on the part of SERVICE PROMISING TO PROVIDE STATE OF ART NETWORK.. Aircel is taking costomer for a ride,taking for GRANTED.

                      I have taken new connection of AIRCEL ON 9THOF SEPTEMBER.. And immediately recharged with necessary balance for the INTERNET SERVICES.. since there is lot of decco written about its NETWORK AND SERVICE PROVISION... AIRCEL FAILED TO SERVE ANYTHING GREAT PROMISED ACCORDINGLY..

                      i lodged complaints for nearly 40 times for GPRS CONNECTION,SETTINGS..BUT there is nothing done considerably till 5 days.. all the work,jobs related to INTERNET HAS BEEN stalled causing loss and waste of time..

                      My complaint No. are[protected] and [protected] . Moreover my IVRS speak option snd submenu 3,2,2, related to GPRS COMPLAINTS HAS BEEN WITHDRAWN and unable to speak to the customer for further enquiries.

                      Moreover the number provided to communicate to Nodal officer is always OUT OF CALLING AREA.. THEN WHY THE HELL THEY MENTIONED IN THE INFORMATION BROCHURE..

                      I WAS UNABLE TO LODGE AND RAISE COMPLAINTS AND ADDRESS MY PROBLEM SINCE IVRS 3,2,2 OPTION HAS BEEN WITHDRAWN.


                      Hence resulting in to GREAT TIME LOSS, MENTAL AGONY, UNNECSSARY HOLD FOR LONG DURATION, PROMISING TO RESTORE THE SERVICES TOOK LONG TIME MORE THAN 5 DAYS..
                      CHARGED FOR NO SERVICES...

                      HENCE, i humbly request the appropriate authorities for necessary action and timely help.

                      I think the first thing you need to do is check your handsets GPRS settings – most of the time that is the culprit. Another good option is to visit the nearest Aircel Store and speak to the technical guys there. I have been using GPRS on Aircel and believe me I had an amazing experience as far as the speed is concerned. And as far as I know IVRS is not person specific its open to all in general – you just need to reach out to the nearest store and get this sorted out…

                        I am using Motorola L9 with Aircel Connection No:[protected]
                        First Pocket Internet Recharged with Rs.14/- for test but not tried through computer it worked good not well.
                        Second time i recharged again with Rs.14/- and the worst service is started after trying to connect through PC. when i complained to Customer Care they said that due to technical up-gradation Pocket Internet Service is not working till 31/07/2009.
                        After 31/07/2009 i asked two to three times from Customer Care about Internet Service, they said Yes Sir it is working fine then I Recharge with Rs.98/- Pocket Internet easyrecharge on 07/08/2009
                        Since above date i am unable to use GPRS Service frequently, only sometimes i used it but many times i got the following errors;

                        when i try to open brower on mobile
                        suddenly "G" (GPRS symbol) disappeared
                        and error message shows "Network not available" or "Data Server not available"
                        &
                        when i try to open by Computer through Motorola Phone Tools
                        again On mobile screen "G" (GPRS symbol) disappeared
                        and error message shows "The GPRS connection could not be established, make sure that you have subscribed to the DATA option and that the network is accessible. Contact your service provider for more details"

                        I have complained to Customer Care regularly, (here are some complaint Numbers i.e. R[protected] of 12/08/09,[protected] of 19/08/09 and reopened it[protected] on 26/08/09, [protected] of 31/08/09)
                        they used to say it is due to "Network conjuction", kindly tell me from 07/08/09 to till date your network suffers by "Network conjuction"?
                        One time Customer Care officer has been called she told me the manual settings but not able to access through this setting.
                        then again I contacted to Customer Care On 28/08/2009 @ 00:10 hrs he asked my problem again and said you will be called back within 24hours almost 10:00 am to 12 O'clock on 28/08/2009 through Ticket No:175222 please tell them your problem again, i wait whole day but no call back has been received within 4 days.Then i Complained again
                        and my problem has been solved temporarily on 30/08/2009. After that day i am able to use it frequently when i tried I get conneted. A call back by Customer Care has been received in between I told him that it is working fine Thank You. As i recharged on 07/08/2009 for 30 days internet and it was working well so I recharged again with Internet Package of Rs.98/- for 30days more. Again the above problem is started.
                        On 11/09/2009 I complained to Customer care again. He give me a Ticket No:183148 and told me that I will be called back on 14/11/2009.

                        Customer Care Officer used to say that my problem will rectify within 24/72 hours but till date i am complaining. sometimes they asked my address where I m using it. I want to use this service on my mobile not on my fixed phone line anyway I told them two addresses from where i want to use but Actually they are fail to resolve my problem yet.

                        Some other error messages received when i try to connect through PC
                        The PPP link control protocol was terminated. If you use a Proxy server you may need to uncheck the server settings to access this connection see help for details.
                        and
                        A connection to the remote computer could not be established. You might need to change the network settings for this connection.
                        Sometimes it connected but not worked as data sent 143 bytes and data received 1152bytes is not been increased.

                        Sometimes it works So my settings are Ok i think.

                        I have been with Airtel and frequently used their GPRS Service since more than one and half year.

                        Aircel — Cheating in GPRS Service

                        After 31/07/2009 i asked two to three times from Customer Care about Internet Service, they said Yes Sir it is working fine then I Recharge with Rs.98/- Pocket Internet easyrecharge on 07/08/2009
                        Since above date i am unable to use GPRS Service frequently, only sometimes i used it but many times i got the following errors;

                        when i try to open brower on mobile
                        suddenly "G" (GPRS symbol) disappeared
                        and error message shows "Network not available" or "Data Server not available"
                        &
                        when i try to open by Computer through Motorola Phone Tools
                        again On mobile screen "G" (GPRS symbol) disappeared
                        and error message shows "The GPRS connection could not be established, make sure that you have subscribed to the DATA option and that the network is accessible. Contact your service provider for more details"

                        I have complained to Customer Care regularly, (here are some complaint Numbers i.e. R[protected] of 12/08/09,[protected] of 19/08/09 and reopened it[protected] on 26/08/09, [protected] of 31/08/09)
                        they used to say it is due to "Network conjuction", kindly tell me from 07/08/09 to till date your network suffers by "Network conjuction"?
                        One time Customer Care officer has been called she told me the manual settings but not able to access through this setting.
                        then again I contacted to Customer Care On 28/08/2009 @ 00:10 hrs he asked my problem again and said you will be called back within 24hours almost 10:00 am to 12 O'clock on 28/08/2009 through Ticket No:175222 please tell them your problem again, i wait whole day but no call back has been received within 4 days.Then i Complained again
                        and my problem has been solved temporarily on 30/08/2009. After that day i am able to use it frequently when i tried I get conneted. A call back by Customer Care has been received in between I told him that it is working fine Thank You. As i recharged on 07/08/2009 for 30 days internet and it was working well so I recharged again with Internet Package of Rs.98/- for 30days more. Again the above problem is started.
                        On 11/09/2009 I complained to Customer care again. He give me a Ticket No:183148 and told me that I will be called back on 14/11/2009.

                        Customer Care Officer used to say that my problem will rectify within 24/72 hours but till date i am complaining. sometimes they asked my address where I m using it. I want to use this service on my mobile not on my fixed phone line anyway I told them two addresses from where i want to use but Actually they are fail to resolve my problem yet.

                        Some other error messages received when i try to connect through PC
                        The PPP link control protocol was terminated. If you use a Proxy server you may need to uncheck the server settings to access this connection see help for details.
                        and
                        A connection to the remote computer could not be established. You might need to change the network settings for this connection.
                        Sometimes it connected but not worked as data sent 143 bytes and data received 1152bytes is not been increased.

                        Sometimes it works So my settings are Ok i think.

                        APN : aircelweb or aircelgprs
                        Username & Password : blank (null)

                        I have been with Airtel and frequently used their GPRS Service since more than one and half year.
                        Strange I have had an excellent experience with the Aircel GPRS service and its connectivity. I think what you could do is one reset your GPRS settings with the help of customer care and second you could just simply visit the nearest Aircel store to talk to the technical people there. Out of personal experience I can say this will be in place in no time. Happy surfing

                        Hey friend i m also coustomar of aircel there service is very bad. i m close of there service and using now idea. idea is the best for speed and gud there custmar care ppl. u can realy try. thow that cheetar aircel.
                        Hey frds i am also using and i can't say that it is good and it also not so bad.it is so cheap as compare to other but it is very slow...
                        I can use it but i am not satisfy.
                        i m also getting problem, using aircel net...i m getting connection problem, one sevice msg comes time n time n disconnect my net, again i have to redial, i call customercare 2...3.. times but they didn't listen my complain, n they disconnect the call saying thanks for calling customer care...
                        now aircel is truely cheating the customer...

                            HI,

                            I am P.venkatesh Having a AIRCEL CONNECTION and MY no:[protected].
                            As i have given a Compliant regarding RECHARGE of RC 14 on 28/8/09 and They have given me the Compliant no:[protected] and the recharge will be done to your account in 24 hrs ,But they have not responded to the compliant and i have make a call on 2/9/09 and once again the resolution given is that it will be done by the late midnight and no proper response usage of hold procedure keeping for long time on hold,i have not got any response for given compliant again so i made a call once again on 5/9/09 and I have tod to transeffer the call to the higher officials and the call be transeffered by the Agent but no higher official as attended my call after transeffering the call was been continued for total of 55:57 seconds after that the call as been disconnected,And i am giving the recorded calls which i have spoken on 2/9/09 and as well 5/9/09 also.

                            so look into it and take a necessary action towards the Agent as well as the Higher officials and do needful,Give me the reply for the give compliant.

                            Its strange because the customer care people at AIrcel are generally very helpful. I would recommend you to visit your nearest Aircel store and speak to the nodal officer there iam sure this will be sorted out in no time. Remember to carry your complaint number for reference 
                            Hello Venky... I've used Aircel Services in Andhra, They've always provided a delightful service @ call centre. any ways call the customer care once again and ask for a Sup. That should do it!
                            i mr deepak r sharma had called 3 times in the customer care of your aircel services
                            but i did'nt got any response to activate my gprs ([protected]) for these no iwas asking for
                            gprs settings i had activated the scheme of 98 rs pack from 25th of previos month but i did'dt got any response from the company side

                              I have disconnected my Aircel number by visiting the Himyathnagar branch in Hyderabad of Aircel about 2 months ago. This I did after paying for 3 months of bill even without even making a single call from that number. Their service is very very poor. Not a single call I was able to make properly with that number. So I disconnected the number. But even after disconnecting the number 2 months ago I got the bill last month. I visited their store at Himayathnagar and their they waivered the bill last month and then they promised me that I won't be getting any call regarding the bill or cancellation and not even a bill from next time. But today i.e., 5th September, 2009 I got the bill asking me to pay an amount of Rs. 182 and moreover I was getting calls from Aircel last month. And these people will call us anytime and enquire about bill and other stuff, it is very embarassing to take such calls during our office hours. Please advice and help me regarding this.

                                My Name is Azarudeen and I am using Aircel connection for past 8 years,

                                1 year back I have started to use one more new number which is[protected], I am frequently getting advertisement calls in it, which is really disturbing and making me in to trouble. We all have a habit whenever call comes we will keep our routine work just like that & will start ready to attend the call in hurry & burry.

                                This morning I had a very bad time due this unnecessary call, I was with my child & ran to pick the call, and I fall down when I ran to take the call even to attend the unnecessary call. Even though it’s my careless but due to your people disturbance only it happened.

                                I don’t know how many times this type of calls will come from [protected]. Once in a day getting these type of calls more than 6 to 7 times. Today so far I got more than 10 times i suppose. Please its really very irritable thing; there is no word to express my tension. If the company wants to make money by giving advertisements there are So many Medias are there, give ads on it to develop your business not to individual person to disturb them by making a call.

                                I don’t want to receive such type of call. I have no time to attend those type of calls at all, even i am not keeping my mobile for any advertisement purpose, its for my own use only,

                                Anyway you people are sending more & more message regarding ads then why again calling & disturbing us a lot.

                                We will think when pick the call it’s from my friend or relative but finally it would be from Aircel and related some add regarding their business development. It’s nothing to relate to my work at all.

                                Please suggest where to log a complaint to avoid unnecessary phone calls related with ads & all.

                                the calls are always disturbing while driving, meeting, sleeping etc we hate to have calls like that its a real idiotic call we dont want it any more or elese we will put a case in supreme...court and my number is [protected]

                                  this is mayuri bansal from agra. i m a user of aircel network. aircel activate dialer tune without any information or without any permission. afterthat they deduct balance automatically from my balance. then if we file a complaint to customer care than we never get fair response from thenm. 3 times i face same problem from aircel network. this will happen again and again with me. in return customer care service respond that "sorry 4 inconviniency". they always say sorry but never provide a solution which make me satisfied. i am really disapponted with the aircel network and their customer service.

                                  Aircel — deduct balance witout any reasonable reason

                                  This is mayuri bansal from agra. I am a user of aircel network. I have a complaint related to deduction of balance without any reasonable reason. They activate caller tune on my number without my permisson and without informing me, afterthat they deduct balance from my account as caller tune charges. my complaint is about why they activate caller tune on my number without my permission and afterthat they deduct balance from my account for this. Regarding this i also file a complaint to costumer care but never get fair response from them. this will happen again and again with me. i filed a complaint 3 time regarding deduction of balance for caller tune to customer care service they always say a single word that is "sorry" but never refund or debit my balance. They never make satisfied me. I am really disappointed from aircel network and their customer service. Please help me out.

                                  i m a citizen of meerut city. i am facing the problem in my aircel sim. my balance had been deducted many times from my mobile without my permission or information.
                                  this is happening from 3 months wid my sim. i asked them that for what purpose my balance is going deducting, they said that you have activated a voice chat service on your mobile becoz of which your balance is deducting.then i said them that i have not activated any service on my mobile. then they checked and said that yes ytou are saying right that your balance have been deducted wronly by us. then i said them to refund my my money back to my mobile, they said your balance will be refunded till 17th november 2009. and sir i have registered my complaint on 8th november 2009. and after 17th nov, 2009 i didn't got my balance refunded. again i registered a complaint in aircel department but i got no response from them.

                                  this is the only way of how to tackle the consumers they learned from their seniors.so i request you to see my problem genuinely and should be solved.

                                    i have recharged my aircel sim with 98 of pocket internet i have got all setting from costumer care and it connect very fast on computer but while using internet it disconnects 3 to 4 times in a minute i struggle a lot . i think i wasted my money .............
                                    so please give me the solution of internet disconnectivity .....

                                    I must tell you here that I get amazing connectivity and good speed on the Pocket Internet. I think you probably need to check your GPRS settings once again or just get in touch with the nodal officer in your area ...or call the customer care I think they would be of help.

                                      Sir, my mobile number is [protected]. When i call on a airtel no, then no voices are heard but chareges are deducted. I have registered the complain in customer care cell three times but i got complaint no. once i.e[protected].the complain is still unsolved and when i again contacted the customer care cell, i didn't get any proper response. I am facing this problem from the date when i bought the AIRCEL connection. Will it be solvrd or not. And the executives talk with me as i am not his customer, rather as he is my customer.
                                      Further i have regired for DND why registration no. is 497354 and it has been registered on 2nd June 2009 but still i am getting promotional massages and calls. Is there no value of consumers privacy??

                                        aircel pocket internet is disconect two or three times of every ten minutes, so i am not setisfy with this service and these nconnectivity

                                        Well… this is strange..coz I get amazing connectivity and good speed on the Pocket Internet. I think the best option for you is to get in touch with the nodal officer in your area …or call the customer care I think they would be of help
