I had posted the issues mentioned below on Jun 24, 2015. However I received only copy-paste reply from Aircel – “Please share your concern with your complaint number and contact details at [protected]@aircel.co.in to help you”. I do not mind sharing my number and any other details (in fact I have done it multiple times earlier, only to receive same copy-paste replies). However, I would request the Aircel Social Care Team to help me understand how my issues are specific to any number or region. In fact these are general issues applicable to all the Aircel subscribers across India whoever uses the epayment website of Aircel for online recharge. Therefore I would request Aircel to post their response here in public forum for benefit of all consumers. Irrespective of the consumer’s concern, an updated, complete and error free details will look good on Aircel website anyway! ORIGINAL POST as on Jun 24, 2015: a) For certain Top-up and special recharge packs (e.g., 449 - Rs 349 Talk Time + 3 GB Data + 399 Local & STD SMS. Data & SMS Validity 60 Days OR 69 - Rs 69 TT | 69 MB 2G/3G Data | 69 A2A minutes etc.), the talktime is credited to a dedicated account and can be used only for making calls. However, there is no way for the subscribers to know whether the talktime will be credited to Dedicated Account (DA) or Main Account (MA), until the recharge is done and money is paid irreversibly. Nowhere it is mentioned on the website/IVR. Due to this, the subscribers are always being taken for a surprise and a lot of times they are stuck with useless talktime in DA which can not be used effectively. As per the TRAI regulations, completely transparency is desired from the service providers, so that subscribers can take an informed decision. However, the above practice by Aircel clearly violates the same. Customer Care Executives (with all their helpful attitude and good intentions) too seem to be helpless and respond by saying/writing that the issue has been escalated to the concerned team and they will get back when they hear back from those teams. b) Some information on the website and IVR are obsolete. E.g., PI 128 is supposed to have 28 days validity as per website and IVR. However, in reality, one gets a validity of only 21 days after recharge. I do not believe this is fair to the subscribers again. c) There are also some very silly mistakes on the website which, given the reputation and brand of Aircel, should have been avoided with some basic QC. E.g., 697 - Unlimited Data Transfer; Speeds upto 8.6 kbps for 6 GB browsing on 2G/3G, thereafter speeds will be reduced to 64 kbps. Hope it does not take a genius to spot the error :)

    I have recharged my aircel mobile account [protected] with Rs. 149 plan and Rs. 374 booster on[protected]. It was not recharged so far. Many time asked aircel customer care. they did not replied well. they told if it was not recharged your money will repaid to your bank account, But it was still pending. please refund and solve this problem.

      This is Vishnu Jammula [protected] from hyderabad I'm highy sick of your nextwrok people I'm getting per day 2 to 3 automatic activations which is not with my permission and On 22nd June 30rs defected to my account and when I called your customer care representative they said my money will get back within 48 hours and I was I waited 48 hours and still I didn't got money back instant of that I'm starting to getting more activation and tine videos and more messages and then I called your care again your representative said more 4hours and I said that's fine I will and I waited more 24 hours and I didn't get anything and all I'm getting messages and calls again finally now I'm sick of it and I called to your representative again instant of he helping me he giving [censored]ing advice's which is usually don't need and now finally I hope u understand and make this happen what I wish for Now I want my money back and make this pravite number

        sir, i had not subscribed to any aircel service. but in the morning today i received a message that u r subscribed to tiny tv and 30 rs. had been deducted. not only this everytime they themselves activate services on my no. and my balance had deducted.. i want rs. 30 as refund for tiny tv service as it is now very high time..

          hello, I have to complain for balance deduced it occurs always when I recharge my Account. it is so frustrating for all together me. all times message came from the company is that you have been subscribed a vas service even after deactivation of all vas services and balance deduced all time in this way aircel deduced about 100 rupees from my account balance. I get to much angered from this nonsense acting ., so please return my all deduced balance otherwise what can I do, I go at consumer Court and complain about these all matter. doesn't matter how much my money invested in it. so at request you...

            I have received a sms daily since last three days at 7-30am stating that "you have been renewed for full songs download pack. You have been charged rs.5.0 for 1 days" but i unable to understand how and why dd-aircel done this offer.I did not ask any request to dd-aircel for this offer. So you are earnestly requested to stop the subscribtion rs.5/- per day from tomorrow. If it will not done by your end i will disconnect the aircel connection day after tomorrow. Chandranee ghose

                Dear sir, my mobile no.[protected] i was paid the april-may bill amount of rs.682/- by my friend mr.p.sethuraman in his hdfc credit card on 21.05.2015.But The aircel co., they send reapeatly not paid this amount of rs.682/-.i also received the last two month bill status they send web bill paid.I give a complant ay aircel taylors road, chennai office on 23.06.2015.still iam not receiving any message from them. I am totaly upset and time loss for this incident.i submited the my friend hdfc credit card statement and transaction id of that amount is 042105/21.05.2015.if they continue like i can surrender this sim and to take legal action on them.thanking you

                  Respected Officer I am using dongle internet services with Aircel vide number [protected] for the past 4 months. During these period, I noticed that there were unauthorized VAS charged to my account. The same has been brought into the attention of Aircel customer service and after a long battle, Aircel has reversed the fraudulent charges. Whereas when I check my bill dated[protected], I can see there is a VAS charged to my account with taxes for Rs.39.90. It looks, Aircel is making fictitious authorization and charging the customer. Since their intention is to loot money from their customers, now I am forced to bring this to the consumer forum for further remedy. I request the penal officers to take stringent action against the unfair trade practices of Aircel and do the needful. Please do not hesitate to contact me if I can be of any further clarifications.                     I have started uding aircel service from few days ago, but I have got bitter experience already.from 27th june till today 28 th june Every day i am getting one m sms related to crickate score and deductig Rs. 5 each and already deducted Rs. 15/. I have never requested and even never accepted such type of offer any time. This is my request to you kindly stop sending such type of sms and never deduct any mony further and reimburse the mony which already deducted.

                      I am using the Aircel service from few days back Mob no. [protected] .Un fortunately fron Saturday 27/6/15 they are sending SMS related to Cricate score to my mobile and deducting Rs.5 each time.I haver never requested them to sent sms like this. still now they have deducted Rs. 15 on 27, 28, 19 June @Rs.5 each.                       Today i visited Aircel service centre at Baranagar, 266 BTRoad at arround 5pm and talk to the representative there. She just inactivate the sms which was activated without my consent. When I asked her she told sometime it happens. When I aske about the refund of the amount she told at that time the system is not working, but when it start working if the problem is within 2-3 days she will reverse the amount in my account. I am waiting for that.

                        Service message received I.e RC35 A TO A 0.10paise per minute validity 60 days. Immediately I recharge 35 on 28.06.15 but validity only 10 days. I am new to aircel since 22.06.15. I contact customer care they told me that we are booked compliant and resolve with in 24 hours. I didn't received the complient no.

When I do recharge my no.then every time my balance had been deducted for miss call alert though it is not require for me even I never wanted to subscribe it. The same thing I told customer care so that it should not repeat in future. But it is happening every time. If I contact to CC then they tell me server is busy plz call later. But i got the recharge message but my data is not credited. i compain to complain desk 198. They told me to recharge with some main balanc. Than i recharge with rs 10 but my main balanc is also deducted when i start my gprs. Again i call to complain desk many times they said recharge with some balance or some of the caller said after 4 hr data will be activated. But after 2 dayz my data is still not given to me.
