Airtel representatives contacted me on the 24th of April and told me that with the Postpaid plan of 499, I'll be getting 3GB of 4G data and in addition to that, if I download and install the my Airtel app, I'll be getting another 10GB of data free every month.
The same was confirmed to me by the backend team who contacted me when I sent in the request to port from Vodafone to Airtel.
Now, on the 1st of May, the porting was completed and when I check, I see only 3GB of data. When I contacted the customer care regarding this issue, they are telling me that the free data offer expired on the 10th of April.
They do not have an answer as to why their own representative offered the plan to me even after the plan had expired. They are not ready to provide a solution as well. This is the worst customer service in the world in my Johnson's
I would suggest everyone to stay away from this network and their horrible, seriously horrible customer service.

Updated by AshwinRajSR Yeah, you provided an unsatisfactory resolution to the problem. A problem which was caused by your representative and one which you people aren't ready to rectify. Hats off to your representatives and your customer service. I'm just waiting for my 90 days to be completed to port out of Airtel.
