Airtel department has deactivate my 4 years old airtel number [protected] without any notice any massage. Due to this problem i am unable to do any transaction and any communication. This is truly bad service of airtel. After reminder of several time due to network issue they are not resolve the issue.
4 days before i have changed 3G sim 4G airtel SIM. now sim has been deactivated by airtel dept. without any notice any sms. Now current balance of airtel SIM above RS:400/- and sim has 2GB of 3G data.
Kindly resolve my issue in top priority.

I have applied for refund of amount through online refund air-tel website.. Till now i did not get any response from any one. This is the worst response i have nt seen till now.         Hi,
        I work in a noida based it company, and the company had issued me a corporate sim of airtel.
        I have never activated international roaming pack on my phone. Since being a traveller i know the risks of having a internatonally activated sim and their corresponding bills. Airtel charged me rs 2.5 lacs for the usage of 222 mb on my phone which i haven't intentionally used.
        Below are the few points that baffles me:

        1. I got a message from airtel just half an hour prior to my departure about "going abroad? Check the attractive roaming plans"
        (I have not used my number to book flights, i am quite interested how they could pitch perfectly sent me the text)

        2. I checked the link, but there were no plans for the countries i visited. Somehow i was landed into my airtel app. I checked and found nothing.
        But the customer care says i activated international roaming from the app, which i disagree. They say i have activated a 149 rs plan.

        3. Even if i have done it mistakenly, i don't remember a pop up or warning that i have activated international roaming pack and below will be the charges. No transparency on the pack 149, even when i go in the website and try to find the rates.

        4. Importantly, 17 point on their international roaming policies say that " for a corporate sim cant be activated without any formal communication from the company's coordinator. Nothing of such happened

        5. Also, my companys corporate credit is rs 60000 since its a small startup. Why, account was not closed after crossing the limit. Leave about not closing it, why there is no warning mail sent to companys coordinator

        6. 222 mb's cost turning out to be 2.5 lacs rupees make no sense, even to the richest man on earth. Why to have such pack at the first place? If you have, why it is not even clearly notified in the website.

        My salary worth 2.5 lacs rupees will be stripped off to pay this which is a lot. It might literally break me both personally and financially.

        Please tell me how can i fight this?

        I didn't get any call or email.

        There were no response from airtel even when my office coordinator tried to contact them. Finally after a month or so they visited us.

        Felt it was more like a harassment, as they were unable to give proper explanation. Their arguement was so weak, that there was erroe in the airtel system that allowed all the request coming from the app automatically without the need to get confirmation from company coordinator. Which they have fixed now

        Also, no explanation on why it took 48 hours to generate the usage and still company was not informed nor the phone number was blocked.

        Airtel misleads people, their processes are unethical and tries to encourage illogical high bills and then harass customers.
        How do I un resolve the complaint

          This is with reference to the subject Airtel telephone number. which was requested to be stopped in the month of Apr 2016.
          But to my dismay it was not taken seriously.
          And after being informed to us that your executive will visit us and take the bill amount it was never done till now.

          Now after so many months again last Wednesday I got a call from Ms. Himani from the no. [protected] with a rude comment that I am not picking her phone despite of no missed call from her end. I told her I am working in evening shift and I can not answer anybodys call in the morning. Moreover when I wake up I call all the missed call numbers. But because of no call being received from any such no. I never gave any call back.
          Theh I gave my sister's no. to her. She confirmed to send an executive. But again no executive was sent to us. My sister waited at home, keeping the bill amount ready.

          On 11 Nov 2016 after a week my sister got a call from Miss Himani saying that we are sending our executive. But my sister told her that she is going to bank for exchanging currency due to this currency problem but instead of asking the details the phone was immediately hung on her face.

          Then again in the afternoon, the executive called her from the no. [protected] saying he is coming and my sister replied that she is standing in the queue for currency exchange.
          He said its alright and to call him when she has exchanged the currency.
          After which immediately Miss Himani again called her and in a very rude way asked her why is she not paying the money.

          It was a very surprising statement on behalf of a prestigeous company like Airtel to a customer like ours who had always welcomed you people to collect money. And instead of not understanding the present scenario how can you treat your customer like this.
          Moreover when asked for cheque from my sister. she told her that it would be drawn by her brother and because her brother is having evening shift he is sleeping the answer she got by her is that he is always sleeping.
          Last but not the least when my sister asked about your late service the answer she got was that is all the service meant for you

              Hi,

              I was offered 500 cashback when i took the new Airtel broadband connection [protected] and was informed that cashback will be credited in the first bill cycle.

              Cashback was not credited in the first bill cycle. I registered a complaint with Airtel Customer care with reference number 74132066 on 12th October. I was informed by the Airtel backend team it will get credited in the next bill cycle.

              In the next bill cycle also it did not get credited.I have registered one more complaint 75351694, 75391520 on 13/11 and 14/11. for first complaint they told it will get resolved in 24 hrs nothing happened. Now again they are telling it will get credited in next cycle.

              There is no point in registering the complaint or contacting the customer service.

              Airtel Service is becoming pathetic day by day and no point in expecting the customer service.

              I want this issue to be resolved at the earliest.

                Unable to access internet on my phone from four days. The problem remains only in the area where i live. I'm not able to access internet only by airtel sim. sometimes it is accessable for 3-5 mins but after that the connectivity is completely lost.
                How can I get my sim reactivated? it was working perfectly till Saturday, I am presently out of country, and my sim worked that way for 11 months.

                        I had a broadband connection with Airtel which was closed around 4 months back. I had a airtel plan of 2499 under which 200GB at 16MBps rate is claimed by company. Company has assured that it will give the same as mentioned in the plan but they have only provided the speed of 4MBps for around 7-8 months. When we realized that we are getting fooled by company from around 7-8 months we called company and told them to recompute our bills with lesser amount for all months which we paid and do this money adjustment in our further bills. Nobody entertained our request and they did not recomputed the bills or gave further discounts in the bill. They were generating the bill with the same way as they were doing before.

                        It is company's liability that they should provide the same what they have claimed, anf if they are not able to provide it they should do adjustments in the actual cost, but Airtel being a big brand is always ahead in making their customer fool by making false promises.
                        I decided to discontinue the airtel by not giving them the bill amount for couple of months. Since they cheated us, and not listening to us why should I pay extra amount to them.
                        Then I started getting calls from Airtel customer service and I told them I could only give them a particular amount which I think they deserve but they are talking indecently and giving abuses on the call.
                        Their customer service support was so pathetic and did not know how to talk with customers. The two girls Payal and Poonam were abusive to me and talking like anything.
                        Even I am ready to give half amount of the bill(though I should not give a single penny to these cheaters), they are abusing me and my family. No one can tolerate such behavior

                        I wanted to escalate this matter to Airtel and wanted yo give them advice that they should be selective in choosing the right person as their customer care executive.
                        Advice for airtel, if you wanted to talk, make me call be some mature executive who can listen and talk properly without any indecency. My no. is [protected].

                        Hoping that this forum will help in resolving the issue and bring awareness to customer of how these big brands like airtel makes fool out of you.

                          I'm very sorry to say this, the way rep spoke to me was very rude and the rep did not respect their Airtel customer's. Well that's upto your Airtel training and disciplinary actions.

                          I wish to continue with Airtel. Only if I get low call rates without any ratecutter recharges.

                                I applied for a broadband connection and the person who spoke to me at the time of taking the broadband connection agreed that there will be no activation charges only rs 200 has to paid initially and which i paid also.
                                When my first month bill was generated i saw that i need to be pay rs 200 for activation charges for the next 4 months. I spoke to the airtel customer care and they waived off the charges and again this month it is showing that i need to pay rs 200 for next month. It is total miscommunication from the airtel side and still they reactingnin this way.

                                      HOW LONG I HAVE BEEN HAVING THIS PROBLEM?
                                      For the Last 2.5 years, I have been having this Indoor Mobile Network/Signal Issue. I just did a Open Network Check in your website from ym Location and found my area has Excellenct Voice Quality. A Network Engineer from Airtel who came to my house on 27th October 2016, did all measurements in my premises and near the Tower told the Tower Signal is bad. So is Airtel Open Network lying or the Network Engineer from Airtel is lying.

                                      HOW MANY AIRTEL MOBILE CONNECTIONS ARE USED IN MY PREMISES
                                      Totally 8 Connections are being used in this Premises. All Connections are Airtel Postpaid/Prepaid

                                      HAS AIRTEL HELPED RESOLVE THE ISSUE PERMANENTLY?
                                      Airtel promised 2.5 years ago that a new Tower will come near my place to resolve this issue. This is only a dream statement. Nothing has happened. Even today Airtel Network team say we have plans for a new Tower
                                      DID THE PROBLEM NEVER GOT RESOLVED IN THE PAST 2.5 YEARS?
                                      Problem got resolved temporarily. Airtel provided me a Portable Network Range Booster fixed in my house for a 5 Year Agreement. Though the problem was not fixed permanently atleast I was not having Signal Issues and Calls were not getting dropped due to fluctuation in Signals

                                      WITH THE BOOSTER THERE SHOULD BE NO ISSUES, WHY RAISE A COMPLAINT?
                                      In the last 2 months, even with the Booster there has been drastic signal drops, phones not reachable. Either the Booster is faulty or the Signal Tower nearby my house has reached its limit and not transmitting enough signals for my Booster Antenna to pick the Signals

                                      HOW BAD IS THE SIGNAL PROBLEM?
                                      I hold a Iphone 6s Plus with Airtel connection in my left hand and a Samsung Galaxy S7 with Airtel Connection in my Right Hand. I stand in middle of my Hall. I make a call from my left Hand to my Right Hand and the message I receive is "This number is not Reachable". I demonstrated this issue to a Field Engineer who came to my house on 27th October 2016

                                      WHEN DID I FORMALLY REGISTER A COMPLAINT AND WHAT ACTIONS HAVE BEEN TAKEN TILL NOW?
                                      I raised a complaint with 121 on October 20th. The issue was promised to be resolved on 24th. No Status updates form Airtel. I had to call and follow up. On 26th I raised the issue with Appellate. On 27th a Field Engineer came to my house, took all measurements and finally concluded that the Signal is very weak even with the Booster. He told he will file a report, which he did not.

                                      SO WHAT HAPPENED NEXT?
                                      Nothing happened. Today is 11th November 2016. Report is not filed. It is not traceable as no one is Appellate is able to figure out the report whereabouts. Appellate is promising to send a Field Engineer again (for which I have to put leave and stay in home, for a field engineer's incapability to file a report). Network Team is confused where to come. I have told clearly this issue is observed in my Home Address Till now 3 different Appellate Executives have interacted with me and each one are giving suggestions and nothing is moving towards resolution. One of the suggestion given by an Appellate Executive is "However, I regret I am unable to provide you with an immediate solution at the above location." If there is not immediate Solution should I sit in middle of the Road and take all Calls. All my Official Calls happen during the night, Should i Roam like a Thief in the Roads and Take my Calls.

                                      WHAT CAN BE DONE TO RESOLVE MY PROBLEM?
                                      Best Solution - Fix new Tower urgently. I know this is the Dream. Airtel is not going to do it because I have been waiting for 2.5 years
                                      Next Best Solution - Attach Additional Boosters in the Towers and Fine Tune the Tower Signal Transmission capacity so users nearby including me with benefit
                                      Last Solution (Which is something has to happen immediately) - Replace the existing Booster in my house and replace it with a Higher Signal Receiving Booster. Check all Antenna Boxes and Rewire if necessary. Ensure I continue to get proper services until Airtel decides to fix a New Tower

                                      As Soon As Possible.

                                      HOW CAN YOU REACH ME?

                                      WHO NEEDS TO HANDLE MY CASE?
                                      I want someone Senior and person in Authority who can approve my request for a new High Powered Booster to be installed in my premises needs to take my case. Am not willing to speak to another executive who will listen to all what am saying and will put the phone on hold to speak to someone and be a mouthpiece. I want a call back from the senior most person in Appellate and I want him directly working on my case. I have detailed the entire problem in this mail. Read my case history fully and speak to me with an intention to resolve
                                      FINALLY I WANT CALL BACK AND STATUS UPDATE ON DAILY BASIS TO KNOW HOW THIS IS GOING TO BE RESOLVED. IT IS DUTY OF CUSTOMER SERVICE TO KEEP CUSTOMER POSTED ON UPDATES NOT VICE-VERSA

                                      UPDATE AS ON 13TH NOVEMBER 2016

                                      I have been writing in Airtel India Facebook Site and also speaking to Appellate and Nodal team and every one is working in their own world and no one is cordinating
                                      Airtel agrees that their Signal tower is not able to transmit enough power to my house. That is the reason why Airtel installed a Booster in my house 2.5 years before. Now even the Booster is not working. Many friends and colleagues have complained they are not able to reach our number. Am being denied my basic service here for which Airtel has been taking my Rental Charges

                                      LAST EMAIL WRITTEN TO APPELLATE TEAM ON 13TH NOVEMBER 2016

                                      Hello Appellate Team,

                                      Yesterday (Saturday, 12th November) I got call from Network Team and they told me that today (Sunday, 13th November) at 2pm in the afternoon they will come to my house and will check all measurements. Because of this i scrapped all my Sunday plans and was waiting for your network guys. No one turned up. No one had the courtesy to call and even apologize for not coming. What irresponsible bunch of guys you have in your team.
                                      Now they will call me and will ask me to come over the weekdays where I have to be in office. I have to leave all the work I have and keep a welcome party ready and wait for your guys in the weekday. I do not know who is the Customer here. Me or Your Network Guys. I did not promise to come on 2pm on Sunday. They called and they confirmed and now they are not keeping up the promise.

                                      Please tell me if you guys are interested to solve my problem and keep up the promise or shall i proceed for legal action. This is denial of service where i will ensure i will demand 1000 times the charges i will ask for not getting the services am paying for from Airtel. Total 7 Pospaid Airtel connections in my house. Each connection has 999 plan. So 999X1000X7 = 69, 93, 000 (close to 70 lacs I will claim if i need to citing Airtel is just taking my rental and not providing me basic calling services)

                                      Please suggest if i can take a later route. I give you guys 2 days time. Better fix it or else am suing you guys.

                                      Update on 13th November 2016, 6.30pm

                                      Again received a call from Airtel Appellate now. As usual the guy is apologizing and saying your complaint is Open and we are working. Am asking the executive 2 questions "Why Network Team did not come to my House" and "What instrument are they Working on if they are not physically present in my house" the executive has only one answer "Sir Complaint is open and our Team is working. We have not received any status update from our Network Team" Seriously Airtel needs to teach your guys English and make them answer to the question customer asks and not be a parrot reading from the KBase.
