I am from Kovilambakkam Chennai... requested for a new broadband connection via online early this month, I was given a call immediately & confirmed availability, mentioned that executive team will reach out to collect document/ provide connection. I have made numerous call & emails to Airtel.. nothing happened so far. It looks like they aren't interested providing their product to any new customers

    A distributor namely KIRAN, asked me to get port to airtel from tatadocomo, and i agreed to do that, then i gave my upc number to him with my documents. recently on 24/8/2015 i got a msg from 1901 ( your porting request is accepted and your porting time[protected]:33:00:361) And tatadocomo sim was dead on 24/08/2015 midnight as they said, but THE SIM GIVEN BY KIRAN IS NOT ACTIVATED SHOWING NO SIGNAL. after that i called him so many times regarding the problem, i was tried to avoid me, i got no respone from him for 2 days, finally he said he will give me another sim and he said to collect from a retailer near by home. and he didn't gave any sim to the retailer, i forced him to give as early as possible finally he gave on 27/08/2015, i collected on 28/08/2015 by giving 50 rupees to them when the port-in was free of cost . finally i got airtel network. this problem made me to disconnected with my friends, family, and importantly I MISSED SO MANY EMPLOYERS CALL AS I AM A UNEMPLOYED GRADUATE. i want justice regarding the problem i faced and i was charged 50 rupees for thing which is free of cost.

      Dear Sir, My airtel prepaid no is [protected]. I am from vineet chaudhary (u.p) My sim no is automatically not worked from last few days.When I was went to Airtel office at muzaffarnagar which Name: Airtel Global Televenture Address: 5/6, North civil line opp.zila Parishad, market, court road, muzaffarnagar -251001.the executive told me that u have to swap the SIM. Accordingly, , I have paid Rs.50 and swap the SIM, But till not it is not activated.Message is come on my cell when I restart my cell with that sim and check no is not my mobile no. I do not know the person in airtel office who is swapping my sim against my number. I have check from your airtel office, they told me your all services are active. Then why this problem is arised? Please tell me clear solution. Otherwise I have mood to go to customer court. My alternate cell no. [protected] Please come with faster solution. Thanks & Regards Vineet chaudhary

        Sir/Madam I met representative of airtel, Mr satyendra vishkarma on 19th august regarding broadband connection. I was offered various plans starting from 999. He also told that now plans of company has changed, connection speeds are provided irrespective of monthly rental depending upon distance from distribution point. Also I was told that 699 plan no longer available in your area (indiranagar lucknow). Upon declining for any connection He called back me next day offering 699 monthly rental, and when I inquired about the speed which will be provided? I was told that "you can have any of the speed i.e. 2, 4, 8 mbps". I opted for 4mbps speed and payed 1000 for installation on 22nd august (I was not given the receipt at the moment and he (Mr. vishkarma) assured me to give the same next day...which I have not been provided till date!!!. The installation was done on 24th august, but to my utter surprise, I was not provided the speed (4mbps) which was told to me before hand. Connection at only 2 mbps was given. I immediately called Mr Akhilesh. (technical team personal who came for installation).He replied me to talk to Mr. Satyendra vishkarma. He also very loosely told that these false information and assurance of speeds, services etc are given just for "increasing the sales"(..mind you...these were his words!!! - Another person from airtel). Upon talking to Mr Satyendra vishwkarma he simply told "it was mistake on his part" now nothing can be done!!!You use connection for one month and get it disconnected!” He repeatedly did not answer my calls neither gave me receipt of installation amount. I even talked to Mr. Sumitro, MrSinha from technical team but to no avail. One Mr. Dilshaad (senior of satyendra vishkarma) tried to intimidate me by saying recovery personal will deal with me if I get the connection disconnected! My only request is that kindly upgrade my speed if possible or else get my connection disconnected and refund installation amount. It is not the question of 1000/- But its issue of misguiding the customers, giving false information about the plans (to meet the sales), demeanor of ground staff working for the airtel. According to one of the personal from airtel, Mr. Dilshaad, “company does not run by connection or disconnection by one of the customers like you”. He simply forgets that its we, the genuine customers, that gives business to the company. It is unbecoming for people from company like airtel to give such an experience and ugly behavior which can simply be labeled a blatant fraud or cheating. It not in keeping with the company of standards like Airtel. I am hopeful that appropriate redressal to my grievances will be done at this level or else I shall be forced to appeal to higher appellate authorities including TCCMS (telecom consumers complain monitoring system) or TRAI. Here I am providing details of my connection and the name and numbers of concerned personals with whom I talked but to no respite.           I am Poornima. I got a call from Airtel on 06 August 2015. They promised a plan that was competitive. The plan was called 799 UNLIMITED. Where unlimited local, STD, National roaming and Data was promised. I was pretty convinced with the plan and asked Airtel to call back on 8 August 2015. I agreed to change my network from DoCoMo to Airtel. The caller instructed me to keep the documents ready and they will send a person to my residence to collect them and Activation charges of Rs.300. A person named Kishore collected the documents at the door step and he requested for mobile portability as well from my mobile, by sending an SMS to 1900. I got a UPIC number from 1901. I was asked to wait for 48 HRS for migration. Nothing happened till 25 August 2015. On 25/08/2015 old network got disconnected but new service network never got activated. I took the help of a local Airtel Outlet. They were extremely helpful. They informed me that I was given a wrong SIM. I should have been given HLR4 instead was given HLR2. They tried to trace the person who sold this SIM to me and they were successful. I was again asked to submit a set of documents and the same person came to my doorstep again to collect documents. I have submitted the documents and till date my phone is not activated. I want a proper communication from Airtel.

              Landline no. [protected], billing even after asking for deativation. I asked them to deactivate the service from 10th April 15 but still they are billing me. I got shifted to Pune on 21st April 15. They kept me on safe custody free of cost & on reaching Pune I told them my address as Dhanori Pune where theirs service is not feasible. [protected]

                  My Airtel account number is 13939021. I was in a plan of 1099 40Gb for 4mbps speed and I use to get 250 rs discount every month since Airtel promised me my bill wont cross above 1050 rs. Airtel offered me 1099 60gb plan for 4mbps speed, I worte an email to them stating not to change my plan as I am happy with 1099 40gb 4mbps speed. Even after writing an email they changed my plan to 1099 60 gb 4mbps speed and they deactivated my 250rs discount and replaced it with just 100rs. I am using this connection from past 8 years, when I emailed them again they say its our mistake but we cant provide you more than 100 rs discount. Without my knowledge they are changing my plan and deactivating the discounts. I wrote 3 mails and got no satisfying reply. They are ready to lose a customer for the mistake they have made. I did not expect this from a brand like Airtel. They are unfair to their old customer. All I want is give back my 250rs discount. Thats it. This is a mistake from your side, not my side.

                    Sir, I get a Call from airtel digital tv costumer care and give a offer, that is to free upgrade of setup box (my set up box expired its warranty) with 6 month warranty and 1 month free recharge.but technician came to my home but they didn't upgrade setup box and collect 150 Rs for service fee and 200 for recharge.So many time I call costumer service..but they said there is no offers like this.and they told if you have problem with your setup box we will change that.now my remote not working.they give fake offers to make renewal recharge, please take action on this.I get offer call from this no [protected], and airtel costumer care no is [protected]. My costumer Id is [protected], my registered mob no is [protected]

                      My advice Dont buy a airtel 4g, i had 2gb plan for Rs.450/-, when you connect the device it will exhaust the data even in single day without download anything . this is absolutely waste. Dont trap into this definitely you get frustration that is sure.

                      Please do not ever, never prefer 4G for god sake. From past 6 months I was not able to able to access 4g and raised complaints regarding the same and every time I call they faked me with wrong information. One agent from Banglore Bannerghatta road office transferred that call to floor supervisor Prasad when I asked the agent to transfer to manager or above who is higher level in charge. The floor supervisor was faking me in such a way that he has no records of me contacting and speaking to the manager since they do not have option to transfer the call to manager in Airtel. In the month of Dec 1st week I received a call from airtel saying I have a promotional offer to activate 4G for 2Gb at 450 /-. I recorded all the conversation and asked the agent to activate. Inspite of activating that I was cheated on this. YOU BLOODY LOOSERS.
                      Worst service... Do not purchase...

                          Hello, I am sure Airtel is doing very BIG scam in Digital TV. They are keep activating unwanted HD channels for FREE for few days/week and deducting money directly without any alert or customer confirmation. They just randomly call once and inform about the new HD activation and if customer forget they they just keep that channel activated.. even if i don't need that channel or never used.. So my ONLY Question is WHY they are activating the channels without any formal SMS/MAIL/CALL from the customer itself.. who gave them authority to JUST activate the costly channels and enjoy the free money in their account..!!! Doesn't this sounds very ODD and a smell of a BIG SCAM...!! I am sure i am not the only sufferer here and many customers are already suffering from this hidden activation without any knowledge.. Pl talk with them and let me know how I can file RTI against Airtel TV to see what kind of scam they are running under the BIG brand..!! I am sure this is more than Million $ scam and we customers are just paying handsome money to Airtel without knowing it... If me like Techie can be fooled then what about the common man who don't have access to Internet or who don't have time to call the customer care to know their value added channels.. this is big fraud and this has to be fix ASAP to save the customer rights. This is against Customer rights and no one can just deduct money from your account without any formal confirmation from the Customer..                           And for your information this issue is not yet resolved.. i am still looking for wrong charges back to my account.. so kindly look into this asap and avoid misleading comments.
                          No reply from any Airtel executive so far.. When i again called Customer Care they are saying all charges are not illegal and we will not give any refund...

                          How they can do this kind of SCAM with the customers.. without my written request how they can activate any services which i never used.. and now when you ask them to refund for this illegal deduction they will just deny.. can someone pl help with News channel numbers i want to root of this SCAM.. this has to be resolved for all customers..

                          Airtel is having a team in every state who have to meet a given target, say 50, 000 Rs. per month. They will have the list of numbers of people who will see the call history of the persons and based on that they will insert some extra minutes in people's account. Customers in the trust thyat Big companies don't cheat, will pay the amount. One insider in Airtel confirmed this and you won't believe that Airtel is earning few crores every month in this shady way. All we can do is call the customer care and scold another person who has not done any mistake while the team remains secret and safe.

                          Airtel DTH is far more worst.
                          Recently, one of my friend said that Airtel activates some HD channels every month to him and deducts the money. Each time he has to call and deactivate them. How about people who don't check their SMS often.

                          SHAME ON YOU AIRTEL !!!

                            Hi, I have a voice call recording of the conversation with customer care advisor of Airtel 4g. On one hand Airtel India advertise about movie download instantly, and in reality they block websites where movies are available for download. Hence restricting customers with unlimited data plans from downloading movies. This is unfair trade practice in my opinion. And they do this by displaying html pages with error messages either saying 1. ''as you have reached your data bill limit, data service on your airtel number has been stopped''.(http://http://one.airtel.in/postpaid.html) In reality I have unlimited data plan, still I get this error page and I have complained to them more than 14 times so far in the last 4 months. 2. ''Your requested URL has been blocked as per the directions received from Department of Telecommunications, Government of India. Please contact administrator for more information''. In reality, no such url is blocked because I can access the same url on other Internet service providers except on Airtel. I am a Airtel 4g customer for last 1 year with 3gb + unlimited data (reduced speed) plan for which I pay 741 per month including taxes. (Modem was charged at 2700/- non refundable) and my Airtel number is [protected]. Please check screenshot of the first and second example attached, torrent urls blocked and the voice recording of the customer care who talks to me as if I am a new customer and avoids understanding my issue though he understood my issue in reality. Which clearly means they are cheating educated customers like me and we dont have other way to deal with this problem. Today its my problem, tomorrow it could be your problem if you become Airtel Customer. Somebody needs to take some action, or Airtel will enjoy this data download politics.                               Inspite of repeated sms sent to the airtel on 155223 which were also confirmed by them for deactivation of video store from 15. 8. 2015 to 28. 8. 2015 & reg. Complaint at [protected]@airtelmoney.com and airtelhelpdesk on 27 & 28. 8. 2015 an amount of rs. 35 / - was deducted from my prepaid mobile balance (Mobile [protected]) himachal pradesh. Sms sent to airtel on 15. 8. 15 12. 01 pm 25. 8. 15 11. 10 am 28. 8. 15 11. 18 am 25. 8. 15 11. 43 am 28. 8. 15 10. 05 am. The above amount may pl. Be refudned back to my airtel account within 24 hours failing which i will process the request further to the national consumer cell.

                                  I had requested for new airtel broadband and DTH connections around 3 weeks back. Details are as below Broadband account no. - [protected] DTH cust id - [protected] When I requested for these, I was told it will be installed within 3 days. Airtel executive also made an effort to come home and collect the cash. After a week I got a call from airtel office saying they cannot install DTH connections since they are scared of some local cable operator. The amount paid has not yet been refunded. I've also been calling airtel office regarding the broadband connection and have been getting the same reply that there is a problem with the DP box and will be resolved soon. Today when I called the office I was told that I won't be getting a broadband connection due to technical issues in the DP box. Whenever I called the customer care, I was told that I would get a call back from the team regarding the issue. These happened 7-8 times, but I never received a call. Airtel executives only try to acquire new customers to complete their targets. They only collect the amount and the documents and do not inform you of any problems.

                                    1- Airtel billing system is incorrectly charging monthly rent every month
                                    2- I explained to Airtel every time and requested to correct my billing from next month but AIRTEL failed to provide any resolution yet.

                                    3- Refer SR 19286197 and see AIRTEL is accepting billing mistake but saying AIRTEL SYSTEM is not allowing to pass the waiver against wrong charges.

                                    4- Every month i have been asked to call AIRTEL and ask for waiver for wrong billing which is never ending process.

                                    5- Why CUSTOMER should call everymonth for AIRTEL FAULTY BILLING SYSTEM.

From these period i dnt have faced any prblm from ur side. But last week i faced a prblm. That is last day i got a offer that was if i recharge with 248/- rupees then i get "1.5 GB 3G". So i kindly recharge the above offer. After recharge i got 1 GB 3G but i can't get balance data. The balance data will credit to my 2G account. But the offer say that the data amount will credit on 3G account but i did n't get. Then i call airtel customer care but i cant get satisfied replay. Finally i call with senior executive of airtel customer care. The same thing is happend there i can't get satisfied replays. Finally i call to "[protected]" for assistance. Then call was take a lady and she was spoke very irritating me... My complant refference number is given below : "CBNRD[protected]" Kindly take a valubale action for this cheeting offer...

                                        In order to experience 4G that Airtel claims is "superfast" I had recently changed my sim to a 4G enabled sim. After checking in the 4G website of Airtel if my phone is 4G enabled, I reactivated 1GB 3G data from the website on 27th Sept 2015. Initially it worked fine but after sometime I was only getting 2G connectivity. Like customer care suggested, I took out and reinserted my sim, switched off/on my phone, tried messaging 3G to 121, but nothing worked. After few calls I am told that sorry madam but your recharge was of 2G and we cannot do anything (cannot do anything is the only solution customer care ever gives!). I mentioned that I had done the recharge from website which was about 4G and it clearly mentioned 1GB 3G data. Also, this is not the first time I did a 3G recharge. Airtel should understand that customers who are calling and wasting their time have a genuine problem. May be it is just Rs 298 for them (which I can also easily afford) but this is about a person being wronged!
