I had balance of aprrox. Rs. 360 on 04 Sept 2015 on my Airtel DTH . Due to some excess charges of Airtel, I decidted to disconnect my airtel DTH, Same day i call customer service & asked to de-activate my DTH . Same day coustmer care person told me your connection has been cancelled, You will be refunded either in cheque of NEFT, On 06.09.2015 coustomer care person call me & said please sale your dth to someone else, i said that i am not in business of saleing dth, kindly take your dth & refund back me my balance as per actual balance, when i had requested to de-activate, then the customer care said that, your balance will be refunded only after they collect their dth, i said that pls process my money & take away your goods, they said we will not close your account, as it will go on till we get dth box, on dt 07.09.15 i got a promotional call from airtell for my dth, i then immediated call to customer care & asked them why they are giving me these offer, as i have already de activate my dth, they said, ok we waill pay you 280 rs instead of actual balance 360 aprox, which i said ok, kindly give me an odd date of refund & requested to do it through neft, then they said they can not do it in neft & will send only by cheque, i said them please note down my account name, then surprising, they denied to give honore my name, I said this is real name, in which i have my voder id, DL, pan card, bank passbook etc, so pls give me cheque at least in my real name, they said pls go to the shop keeper where you bought this dth, as he gave your wrong name, this is very very rude, I am a person, now want to know, am i own my name of airtel will choose my name, Kindly refund back my money in due course of time, MY DTH ID [protected] & Mobile No [protected]

    This is with respect to my number: [protected] [Bill Plan rental :- Rs. 175/-(Pro rate) GPRS : Rs.100/- (Prorate)]. For the month of Aug, my 100 rs net plan was about to get over, so for the same i contacted airtel so that i can get another net pack. The customer executive guided me to upgrade to Rs. 250 plan in which i will get 1 GB 3G data. Moreover, he also told me that I will be charged only Rs. 250 for internet usage for the month of Aug in total as i have taken an upgraded version. but, i was shocked to see my bill for the month of August 2015. The company has charged me the following inspite of informing me that i will be charged just Rs. 250 for the internet for the august month: 300 Mb 3G Plan : Rs.100/- (Prorate) 1GB 3G Plan : Rs.300/-(Flat) Other internet charges: Rs.54.71(inspite of havng two internet plans) for the same issue, i had a word with airtel on 27th aug, and they had raised the complaint on behalf of me and also promised me a resolve on or before 29th aug. But, none of the executive called me till 29th, therefore i called them up, and asked for the matter. so they gave a very unprofessional reply that the team might have forgot to resolve the issue and hence they raised my complaint again and yet again they asked me to wait for 24 hrs. In the mean time i wrote a mail at: [protected]@in.airtel.com asking to resolve the matter, but no proper resolution was made. They said that they cant make any changes in the bill and that the bill is final from their side. Also, in the same mail, i also mentioned about them about getting upgraded to Rs. 175 internet plan for Sep month in which i will get 500 Mb monthly as per my discussion with the their customer exec. He told me that I will be charged Rs. 175 in total and will be given 500 Mb 3G per month. But yet again, i was fooled by them as now they are saying that they will charge Rs 175 over my basic net plan of RS 100. I have attached the screenshot of the response that i got from airtel on my mail. I must say that airtel, has really degraded itself in terms of customer servicing. i have tried to contact the customer executives again and again but none had the ans to my simple ques: Why are you charging me for your faults? Its the fault of airtel executives that they didnt informe me properly or informed wrongly about the amount they will be charging. And now, none of them is ready to reimburse me the same. I want airtel to charge only Rs. 250 as internet charges for month of Aug and RS. 175 for the month of Sep. Because thats what i was informed. Also, a fresh bill should be generated for the month of Aug.

      Hi,

      I was impressed about the offers and the 4G services given by Airtel, opted for portability from Vodafone, the porting requested was accepted and my old number was disconnected on 3rd Sept 2015, I inserted the Airtel 4g sim card given to me but it did not get activated. I called up customer care and they told that this sim card is not registered in my name, then i got the sim card changed on 4th Sept 2015 and completed the tele-verification around 10.30 am. After this they said that the number will be activated within "30 minutes". But after repeatedly calling to your customer care, I did not get satisfactory reply from anyone. They were vaguely replying saying "some technical issue" which will be resolved within "4 hours", I have called some 20-30 times to your customer care but in vain. Even today i had called customer care and complaints centre, I have been getting the same response saying this will be resolved by end of today. I am really surprised by this, as I have moved from other network expecting got better service from Airtel. But I am really disappointed the way things have been going through, as its been 4 days, it has not been activated till now. I being a Chartered Accountant will be receiving many calls from my clients which I have not been able to receive nor call anyone in these days.

      I am frustrated and suffered a lot because of this and I hope this issue will be resolved at the earliest.

      Hope the biggest network provider will not make the new customer unhappy and suffer more.

        My Customer Id:[protected].My DTH account got suspended on Sep 3.I called to customer care and lodge a compliant. I didn't got any proper response from them. Then I called to Nodal Office and got information that I make a request for reversal in 21st April 2015 so they refunded 245.That's the reason the balance got deducted and account got suspended. But I didn't make such request in April 2015 and also no amount got credited in my account. I mailed to DTH Nodal no response. Please resolve this at earliest.

          Complained against Airtel Monday dated 30.08.2015 I got contact details of Mr. Mukesh Vyas and as per discussion I gave him a cheque of 5010 for installation of new broad band connection, after that I received one SMS on 1st Sep'2015 that document received against your fixed line account no [protected] installation order no. 40963889., also in evening 1 got one call from Airtel we are coming for installation of your connection pls. stay on home, even i have some important work but I wait for them till 9:30 and they continues say some thing like there rain in city we complete the same tomorrow But till date the connection is not installed and Airtel employee giving different excuses to me yesterday he called for installation but no buddy reach for installation, today he also providing some more excuses.

              I have applied for Airtel broadband for a month back.They collected the document and money within few hours.After that no one contacted me for the installation.I have called them back several times they told the same thing every time that they are raising a complain and the installation will happen in 3 days.but nothing like that happened ever.After two weeks they informed that installation cannot take place in my area.So i have raised request for refund my money.Till then its two weeks they have not refunded my money which they were supposed to refund in two working days. Another point is they had my address details when i have raised the request but knowing that they cannot install in my area, they still took my money.this is simply a fraud case. i have attached the payment details proof. The person who collected my money his phone number is [protected]. He never picked up my call after collecting the money.

                I am having an airtel landline connection[protected] in coimbatore and raised service request no. 59028424 on 28 Aug. Airtel didn't shift my connection as mentioned by the customer care within 5 working days. I again raised complaint (no.[protected] by calling airtel customer care on 4th Sep 2015 against non-completion of service request. They asked for two days to resolve the complaint but simply they extended target date for closing the complaint from 6 Sep to 8 Sep 2015. I have sent mail to Nodal office South and also to Appellete authority for Tamilnadu region. But got irresponsible response as my complaint will be resolved as early as possible without any target date. The airtel junction box is in front of my new house and the technical team has mentioned an himalayan range LIE that they have get permission from local authority as they need to cross the road. i have lost so much money as my prime business is done through this airtel broadband connection.

                  i don't know what kind of a signal and network you people are maintaining, this is my second facing the problem, your signal not available, previously i used to go with docomo, later i thought airtel is the best signal and I changed to airtel.                     Hi I have place MNP request times from Hyderabad, but times was rejected as donor code mismatch. I have raised a compliant agiant Idea they said that they have not received any MNP request form Airtel and they said they have even check with MNP database they didn't received any request there too. I need to why Airtel is taking time for processioning MNP requests. if they are that busy in processing they should stop accepting the request. i think Govt office are better than Airtel, as atleast they will process by recommendation. Last request was done on 27 Aug 2015 with code as IA391784 for no [protected]. i have talk to Airtel Customer care, they are saying to resubmit the documents with new application form and fee, how many times i have do it without knowing the right reason for it. i request customer care person will there be any guarantee for this 3rd application as i ensure from my side i clear my pending bill and pay extra amt. there is not response. Please find why its rejected 2 times, so that other people should not face this problem.

                      Airtel is cheating the people, Recently I have recharged my airtel number with RC296 where it was shown as 3000 local mobile minutes, I submitted a complaint and as per the request of Sadhu Charan airtelpresence (airtel customer service team) bharti airtel ltd airtel.[protected]@airtel.com I have sent the mail on 2nd september 2015 but no response from them and recently to my surprise they posted in this form that the problem was resolved as i have not send them the mail. Now i am attaching two screenshots which clearly shows how airtel is cheating customers by changing the details on their web once you post on form. please find the screenshots and you can also check my previous complaint regarding the same. If airtel wants to contact me my number is [protected], and on the same number i have done the recharge of RC 296. Call me back I will answer everything with proofs, my alternate number is [protected]. Does airtel faking recharge vouchers to customers? These are my complaint numbers. no response from airtel customer care afterwards. Regarding local mobile minutes and local airtel minutes Mr. Mahesh, Representative EMP ID: 74538 from airtel customer care explained clearly, please find the attachments and do justice to customers..

                      Update to this complaint is that i got call from airtel customer care, number is [protected], he asked me the bank account details I gave him the details and he said he is going to refund back the amount, then after some time on hold he said the transfer is not getting initiated and asked for one more account number, as per the details provided by airtel customer care the person with the said ID does not exist as per phone conversation his name is said as Rahul Sharma and Employee ID is 383618... beware of Airtel customer care. I asked him to recharge my mobile he said it is not possible, asked him to add the balance to my airtel money account even he said it is not possible, As per the information provided by him the airtel people can only add amount to the bank account and no other possibilities with them.

                      Add balance to my airtel money account or add balance of Rs. 296/- to me. My mobile number is [protected].
                      well sounds tragic on your part... but i got the promised deal in 296 .. (m in Bangalore) kindly check your circle, if the plan is applicable... coz i got 3000 mins + 2 gb 4g for 28 days... ( but my pulse was in seconds somehow) and i m looking to renew the same if its still available!!! ( DISCLAIMER - i mean no offence to anyone, i m just sharing my experience with the same plan... )

                        I paid a sum of Rs 546/-through my Creditcard on 18/7/15 to be paid to Airtel being charges for mobile bill of tel no [protected].
                        Airtel informed that they have not recd the payment.
                        On 23rd Aug I wrote to your office about the status of my payment.I was informed that the payment could not be remitted due to failure of the transaction.
                        I asked your office to remit the payment to Airtel or reverse back into my Credit card.But I am sorry to inform you that your office is totally silent over it inspire of my repeated reminders.
                        You are requested to look into the matter and remit the payment to Airtel or refund into my Credit card A/c at the earliest.

                          Hi Team, I have been unable to use Airtel 3G even after having enough balance in my account as well as activating the Data Pack. I have described the problem and visited several Galleries, but no solution has been found. Also, when called the Airtel customer care they tell me the same steps to perform that the Airtel Gallery person did. I have asked for manager interaction at a Airtel Gallery but wasn't able to get hold, stating that there is nothing airtel can do. This issue is persistent since a couple of months now. Please assist me in this.

                            Hi,

                            I had been one of the loyal postpaid customer since Oct, 2013. Last few months, there have been unwanted(illegal) charges by your system and you have been demanding more money from me.


                            I have attached bills[protected]May-2015 to 10-Jun-2015) &[protected]june-2015 to 10-July-2015). Password to open pdf is “nju2”


                            The first Bill[protected]Original Bill Amt:1112.42) runs to 726 pages due to airtel billing system error(illegitimate charges). I had to make more than 7 calls to customer care & spent nearly 3 hrs of my valuable time to get issue sorted out and they revised the bill amount(Corrected Bill Amt:523.77). Many a times your systems don’t respond/ running slow as told by customer care executives

                            The second bill[protected]Original Bill Amt:1016.95) was also wrong billing for 4G data usage while my mobile(Moto G2) doesn’t have 4g support. Your system activated 4g data without my consent?!. Then again I had to make multiple calls to customer care & spent nearly 1 hr of my valuable time to get the issue sorted out and they revised the bill amount(Corrected Bill Amt:446.95)


                            Considering the above bitter experiences, I have decided to get the mobile#([protected]) converted into prepaid account on 18/07/2015 to get rid of your nuisance billing system and poor customer service. The above # has been migrated to prepaid after clearing the unbilled dues by cash payment (remitted by Mohammed Rafiq-Airtel-Mobile# who visits Dell Whitefield, Bangalore Office daily).

                            At present, there are calls and sms(from DZ-AIRPMT) from your recovery team demanding me to pay Rs.449 for usage 11-july-2015 to 17-july-2015(just for 7 days demanding 1 month rent, etc). This is a clear case of mismanagement and harassing the poor customers. In similar case, my other number [protected](Relationship#[protected] ) has been billed an outstanding amount of Rs.49.


                            Another issue I fail to understand is that while 1GB of prepaid data is available between Rs.127(Tata docomo) & 154(Airtel), why you need to bill the same as Rs.3282 and clear off the value as discount??!

                            I had been forced to pay Rs.750 for 200mb additional usage(over and beyond 1GB data) in one of my earlier bills.


                            This is ridiculous and totally unacceptable malpractice by a reputed organization such as Bharti Airtel.


                            Hence I request you to kindly look into my case in detail and waive off any wrong due amount in your system at the earliest. Please confirm the action taken in reply e-mail.


                            Otherwise, I need to refer this case to our Human Resource Team for the larger interest of Employees & Later, I am seriously thinking of litigation against Airtel in suitable consumer forum/ court.

                              I hereby wants to bring in your notice that I use airtel mobile services with mobile number [protected]. Recently I received a sms by my service provider regarding recharge of rs 295 which will result in benefits of 2GB 3G data for 28 days so today I recharge with rs295 but benefits as stated was not provided instead only 1GB 3G data is provided . I felt disappointed so I called customer support but they were not much helpful and said that the offer is valid only for the day on which sms is received. But such condition was not mentioned in that sms that's why I recharged with rs 295 but by trusting that sms now I feel deceived . I request you to provide me the benefits which was promised.

                                  Since I taken so called 4g sim I am facing network problem, customer care not responding well. I just want to show this message to airtel chairman that AIRTEL IS THE MOST WORST COMPANY .CHAIRPERSON AND HIS TEAM GOT EGO since airtel started 4g. I pray to god for decline of airtel company as soon as possible. I want shut down of airtel. This is India that's why no one is responding for individual complain.                                     Error shows'Unable to receive signal ' .waste of recharge 350Rs. Complaint was registered but no reply. 4 months back same problem and they charged 400rs to change some equipment. Again same problem, they are asking 150rs just to look into what problem it is. Fraudulence everywhere.

                                        I received my Airtel mobile postpaid bill for the month of August 2015 and I was shocked that it is having total amount of 467 Rs, whereas I am expecting charges around 250 Rs, as I had discontinued 3G internet service already and before the initiation of Aug bill period as stated by customer care executive and also confirmed the same by him, he assured me that I will not be charges with 3G 1- GB internet plan and it is revised with 3G 250MB plan. I called customer care executive regarding this extra charges in my bill, after verifying the details he deducted the extra amount of 200 Rs. and told me that now I need to pay only 267 Rs for Aug month. Note 1: Customer care executive told me like because of system issue this extra charges get applied to most of people and Airtel is deducting the charges for people who are calling to customer care for this. Now he has deducted only extra amount as a part of 3G service but he hasn’t deducted the 14% tax which should also get deducted as previously generated bill is including 200Rs which is deducted now. Total bill amount before deducting the extra charges. 409.7 Aug month billable amount 57.36 14% Tax 467.06 Total bill amount After deducting extra amount, revised amount I need to pay should be 230 Rs. 202 Revised Aug month billable amount 28.28 14% Tax 230 Total bill amount I called customer care executive again and told the same, but he is not listening to me and telling me again and again that I need to pay Rs 267 only (in which 14% tax is not deducted for extra 200 amount) I tried to explain him simple mathematics of 14% tax but he is not in a mood to understand me. After some time I called customer care executive again and this time talked with another guy and explain him the situation, he understood that and deducted the extra 14% tax and confirmed that I need to pay only 230 Rs now. Note 2: He also told that Airtel never deduct tax from already billed amount like this and customer need to pay the amount as it is i.e. after deduction of extra service charges from the previous bill amount. He also told that in case I raised a complain to customer care or 121, I will not get any response on this and I need to pay the amount in any situation till last day of bill payment else again late fee charges will get applied on that. Though I am lucky that he deducted the extra tax and now I need to pay only 230 Rs. (PFA word document having screenshot for reference.) Now all in this scenario, what I understood is, this is not a system issue/bug/fault because of which I got extra charges but its Airtel peoples mentality who- after knowing that extra charges are applied to customer, not deducting it by their own and waiting for customer to call them. If some customer haven’t notice the extra charges then it is obvious that Airtel is not going to deduct it by calling him or will adjust the charges in next bill. J Also it’s a billing system, application functionality like to deduct the extra amount with tax from the original billed amount, and I can bet that I am not the first one who is raising this issue. Also don’t tell me that Airtel don’t have any billing system or solution architect/intelligent billing management who not yet noticed this issue. In simple words this is the way telecom companies can get extra amount from the customer. If a telecom company have 50, 00, 000 postpaid customer and extra amount of 5 Rs get charges in billing amount and customer didn’t noticed it then simply telecom company is in profit of 250, 00, 000. It takes number of years for common man to earn that much money.
