I get unusually lot of SMS from Airtel. And it has spammed up my inbox. This makes life difficult when u want to search for some important transactions related messages or OTPs.
And mostly these are useless offers... And loan related stuff. Please stop these nuisance. I use dual Sim on my phone.
Another Sim is of Reliance JIO. I get zero marketing SMS from them. Thats how professional they are. And i have been a decade long Airtel customer and Im dissappointed with their user friendlyness.
Please make this stop.

    I recharge my airtel mobile [protected] through airtel thanks app payment via paytm wallet for rs.399/- on 10/09/2021 at 10.28 am. I received a msg that my recharg is processed and paytm shows my payment success. But not recharged. I contacted paytm team, they said payment transfered to airtel thanks app. I submit a complaint through airtel thanks app after i try to track the complaint it shows complaint closed ans solved. But not yet get any refund or any response from airtel team.L

        Rs. 79 is deducted from my bank account having Ref No. [protected] dated 11th September, 2021 time 19:37 pm. But I didn't get any recharge successful message and recharge not done.

          Hello There,

          On 4th may 2021, i have ordered something on amazon and paid by Airtel bank virtual debit card vide transaction id with airtel bank was/ is[protected]
          After this my Airtel bank wallet account was upgraded to airtel bank savings account. Meanwhile amazon has refunded Rs.239/- to my airtel wallet virtual debit card (which is not same as now the debit card number has changed after upgrading to savings account). I have contacted amazon and they have confirmed about the refund and as evidence they have shared/ given a reference number which is 75503721126048008107388 and the date of refund is 5th of May 2021 and the refunded amount is Rs.239/- which is still not reflecting in my airtel bank account.
          After making me run from pillar to post and getting nothing from airtel.
          Most importantly the Airtel bank has even disowned their airtel bank transaction id. It is a zero balance account and now they have done some negative transactions from themselves as my balance went to Rs-4/-.
          I have been touch with airtel bank on facebook messenger, everytime they follow the procedure which is they will take all the details in mail, then they call and disown their transaction id which is created by their airtel bank, i have sent them the screenshot also, then they will ask to wait and after 2-3 days the same procedure is repeated.

          My Airtel mobile number is [protected], and this same mobile number is the Account Number with Airtel Bank, under my name which is Alphi Chugh.

          These people are gundas they dont care about anything, they just know how to loot money from its innocent customers

            First of all Customer Care representative is not easily reachable.
            When connected, they don't offer solution. Ask you to wait.
            Unable to register email ID in spite of SMS, as suggested.
            Done a recharge on 13th August, 2021 but failed. Till today refund not

                  Airtel charging extra by cheating the customer. I tried recharging the mobile for 1498, and when I choose the credit card option if they charge extra they have to prompt for extra charges without which they are processing the payment and decline the transaction and then deduct the extra charges. There was no prior intimation to me on the charges and tech gaint like Airtel has no description on extra charges. They just talk on unnecessary topics then the ones required by the customer.

                    My internet is not from 26 Aug 2021, I did raise complaint that they resolved after few days without fixing the issue. Then I had reopened the ticket again. They did nothing and again closed my ticket on 8 September 2021 without fixing it. This time there was no option for reopening it so raised another complaint. This is still open and issue is also not fixed. I have been calling and emailing to appellate authority but they are just giving same answer every time that issue will be resolved in 24 to 48 hrs. But they are not doing anything to fix it. Problem is it is prepaid service and I have already paid them so they are not bothering to fix it. Please help.

                      Hi, I reached my airtel num with an additional data of 119Rs and the amount was deducted from my acc but the reacharge isnt shown...Its neither failed or success. The money was deducted. The payment was through airtel thanks app via gpay.

                        I was working in dubai. Since my airtel number showing no service. It was active upto aug22/2021. I came here at aug6th/2021. I have all my contacts in that number. So kindly check and do needful.

                          Sir,
                          on 3/9/21 i have made a recharge of rs :48=00 vide ref no[protected].
                          due to non recharge, on 8/9/21 i claimed a refund through mail .
                          But ridiculously they replied to register my mail id first, and there is nothing
                          about refund .
                          please look into the matter .

                                ### you Sunil Mittal your airtel speed is only 1mbps and jio is 30mbps and do you know a thing I went to airtel offical offical and they exchanged the sim and said it is 4x faster and the reality is 1mbps all listen airtel is a scam ###ing scam ### you founder you can't even run a 480p video shame on you shame ###.

                                  Dear Sir,

                                  My SMS has again been blocked. I have overseas business and my SMS usage is high.

                                  • Having said that, I am having this number ([protected]) over 25 years never has my payment been delayed or overdue.
                                  • This is the 2nd time Airtel have blocked my SMS services since January 2021 (Complaint Numbers:[protected] &[protected]
                                  • I have clearly instructed Airtel not to block my SMS services in January 2021 and here it has happened again in September 2021.

                                  I am incurring losses as I am unable to contact my customers.

                                  1. Airtel have to intimate me if my usage is going beyond 90% of my credit Limit.
                                  2. My credit limit is over Rs.12, 500/- why Ha Airtel deactivated my sms services when there is Rs.0.00 due?? Airtel now has Rs.1, 000/- excess with them.
                                  3. Airtel Customer Service Executive said I have to make Rs.500/- to reactivate the SMS service immediately. I have gone ahead and made Rs.1000/- again but still the SMS service is not activated!!! Why??
                                  4. Every time I call, Airtel executives speak like Parrots saying the same things “Sorry, sir, I understand your inconvenience”, “We will resolve the issue within 4 hours”, “We will resolve your issue within 24 hours”
                                  5. When I ask for the call to be transferred to a manager, the manager is not available!!!
                                  6. It been over 56 hours and still the SMS have not been resumed.
                                  7. The complaint has been closed without addressing the issue??? WHY???

                                  Mr.Ajazulhaque from Back End Team called me from Ph.No.+91-[protected] at 5:46 pm on 07/09/2021

                                  He says he can’t activate my SMS services until my next billing cycle (a all new story again).

                                  Every time I speak to Airtel team, they give different picture:
                                  1st They said they said the service will be restored in 4 hours
                                  2nd they said it will be activated in 24 hours
                                  3rd I get a message saying that the complaint is closed
                                  4th Airtel person says pay Rs.500 and it will be activate immediately…I paid Rs.1000 but it still did not get activated!!!
                                  5th after 26hours your person says that SMS services will be activated only in the next billing cycle!!

                                  This is ridicules as there is no such agreement policy that Airtel will deactivate SMS on any conditions.
                                  Moreover, my credit limit is Rs.12500/- and it is not utilized even 25%

                                  Sorry to say, Airtel have a very unprofessional team and very unprofessional style of working! They don't have any answers for any of their problems, they change their policy without any intimation & they themselves do not know what those policies are.

                                      I am a post paid customer and have been using Airtel Post paid connection for last 5 year. I have been facing a lot of problems ever since i got my post paid connection ([protected]) started. I have given lot of complaints as well. ( call interruption, call tapping, poor and extra billing system and the like) . I paid my airtel bill always in a prompt fashion despite these problems every time. Of late, I felt that, the problems with Airtel post paid is not getting sorted out permanently so that it is better to switch over to pre paid connection. I approached Customer Care executives since three months for necessary directions and they in turn told me that there is no problem for converting a post paid number to prepaid life time connection without changing the existing number. They rightly explained to me the procedures that I got to follow for the same with extra

                                      But, contrary to my expectations, when I approached the local Airtel outlet here in samba jammu namely sonia Sharma her mob no [protected] and Deepak Kumar mob no [protected] they told me not satisfied answer about getting converted into prepaid after completing 3 days I have not found own existing members that is [protected] . Without this I feel harrased but airtel outlet samba nh1 have not interested to ressolve problem after three day converting into prepaid .A comapny's policy should always be favouring the customers ? is it not? Every other mobile companies in and around Andman is giving this facility and why can't Airtel give the same ? I have given this number to all my relatives, friends and colleagues and you people wanted me to give another number to them once againand spending anothe lot of bucks all over again ?

                                      You post paid connection and confusing executives and professionas have harrased me enough and subsequently my social image has been tarnished. You company and its whims and fancies have destroyed my mental peace and solace

                                      I request you to sort out my problem expediently
