Dear Sir On 2 September 2014 I submitted all necessary documents with a sum of Rs. 150 and requested migration from postpaid to prepaid mobile number 96508***00 at Airtel Relational Ship Centre plot 66, Near Mahalaxmi Hotel, NIT, Faridabad 121001. I was told that the migration will happen within 72 hours and my due amount will be adjusted in [security money + Rs. 150]. Nothing since then has happened so far. Today it is 15 October 2014. Every 2 days I am calling Customer Care and I have been told every time to wait for another 4-6 hours for a revert call since the complaint is escalated to the higher authority. My complaint number is 58322111. I swear to god that I have not received any call from Airtel regarding this. Due to this dalay I also have some outstanding due amount now, which is not because of me. Mr. Harish ([protected]) from Airtel Relationship Centre who took Rs. 150 and my documents from me is not picking up my call. I request you to please take action and help me sort out this matter.     I have been force to briefly migrate back to my Blackberry (BB) as my Nokia Lumia is facing some issues and is in the workshop. So I called up the Airtel Helpline 121 and requested for internet svc on the BB for 2-3 days within my existing plan. Transferred to the BB department, I was informed that there is no such package for 2-3 days and that I shall have to avail of a minimum week's package which will cost me Rs. 100. I requested that this be activated. I was told that it will take not more than 30 minutes for this package to be activated. I wait for more than an hour and call back 121 again. And now I am informed that there is no such Rs 100 package! Will appreciate if Airtel can take suitable action against such gross misinformation being passed on to customers and putting them to harassment and inconvenience.

      Hi Since I took the data card of airtel, I have to keep calling airtel customer service after my payment as my internet goes down...All i can see is just rolling rolling and it takes longer time for the one screen to pop up...Speed is really pathetic.Last month I called up and told to cancel my services but the agent told he would send my complaint to technical team and sought this out., and when i checked to my surprise i see it is suddenly very fast and no stucks in between. I thot when this time its happening and why could it not have happened before. I simply kept paying 1000rs every month with all the headache of this speed.and again after I made last month payment its the same story of slow internet...its dropping down everytime...

            Complaint on Airtel D T H Customer Name : Murlidhar Murlidhar Customer Id : [protected] Registered Telephone Number : [protected] Package Name : Magnum 18 HD 12 Month ADV Pack Sep-13(Upfront NRC Rs.6500) . The following points may please be noted. 1) I have deposited Rs 7000 to my Airtel account on 05/03/2014. 2) I have opted for Magnum package from 05/05/2014. and Rs 6500 have been charged for the same and it is in order. 3) Airtel have charged off Rs 500 from my Airtel account without informing me and without any notice to me. 4) Even my previous package was on annual basis and payment was made at once in the beginning only hence no dues arise on account of previous package. 5)Since Airtel has charged of Rs 500 from my account without any notice and without proper reason I am complaining to consumer complaint.

              Hi i am Post paid user of AIRTEL from last 10 Years, i were never faced any problem from AIRTEL. But now their services are very pathetic. i had 2 instances when i have undergone the pathetic services and bad behaviour of AIRTEL. Case 1: DIWALI PERIOD OF 2013 i had sent many messages to my friend in group (SMS), but when i saw the bill AIRTEL was charged me for the MMS for each my SMS. I contacted AIRTEL customer care and then their senior officials but no one has solved my problem. One officer told me that it is a problem of Black Berry software issue that it converts all SMS to MMS if you sent it in group. I told them if you are aware about this bug available in the system why you are not correcting the mistake and reversing the charges which you charged me over, but they said that no they will not reverse these charges even it is software issue. I told them to see my handset where those messages are available as SMS and not MMS, but no one bothered. Ultimately step after another i sent the mails to Mr. Sunil Bharti Mittal and after sending so many mails they have reversed my wrongly charged amount. Aug and Sept 2014 I travelled to USA and Canada where they have given me charges for my call rate and i surprised to see the bills that for 3 calls in Canada they charged me 200 Rs. Per minute instead of 50 Rs. Per Min. Whereas they asked me in writing that only India call is 180 Rs. Per Min and Local is 50 Rs. They charged 200 Per min which never inform ed to me. I contacted AIRTEL but they are not having logical replies but they are mentioning that sir our billing department is saying these are right but logic no logic ... I would say this is the GINDA GARDI of AIRTEL, my question is if you are right give me the logic but no logic... Customer Care executive told me that some one will talk to me. I mentioned that till the time this issue is not resolved i shall hold the bill payment and same is mentioned in my complaint. no one called me and now the payment due date have passed. VERY PATHETIC SERVICES OF AIRTEL. I AM THE POST PAID USER OF AIRTEL FROM LAST ABOUT 10 YEARS BUT THEY HAVE NO VALUE FOR THEIR CUSTOMERS. I DECIDED NOW I WILL NOT BEND AGAIST THE GUNDA GARDI OF AIRTEL AND I WILL NOT PAY THE BILL TILL THE TIME THEY DIDNOT RESOLVE MY ISSUE. PLS SUGGEST.

                This is really cheating.

                Account [protected]

                I was advised over phone that being very old customer, if i upgrade my digital tv to hd+, i will get a 400 cash back in my account. (I paid 999 but no cash back)

                I have activated my box to hd+ but till today neighter got the hd channels nor got any money.

                I have changed it on 11th october but till today nil.

                      Dear Concerned, I have just migrated from IDEA to Airtel (2 day before--chennai number). By balance was low (0.65 INR) and I moved to karnataka so I did a online recharge from your website (https://pay.airtel.com/online-payments/prepaidResponse.do) I have used to option "TALKTIME" and recharged for 200 INR, but still my balance not incresed, then I selected the option "TALKTIME AND VALIDITY" from the website and did a 100 INR recharge, still my balance was not incresed. I called the airtel customer care, they told me that it is a internet data topup so they cant do any thing. But the website (gived above) clearly say that it is "TOPUP RECHARGE", please find the trailing e-mail for the details. I find it very much annoying and cheating. the complined number with the customer care is "[protected]", I also got a sms with the tracking number "CBNRV[protected]". I do not understand what is really going on. You website say something and something else is happening. I DO NOT WANT THE INTERNET DATAR RECHANGE, I WANT TALK TIME. IT WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU CAN GIVE ME JUSTIFICATION. Thanks.                           I am not getting bill updates after payment of my postpaid connection ([protected]). Even when I was not using the service they keep on increasing payable bill amount. They also used to add extra services without my permission which I do not require.

                          I converted my airtel contact no. ([protected]) from postpaid to prepaid but prepaid sim card is not yet activated while the postpaid sim has been deactivated. I also applied for my MTNL no. to convert it to airtel no.([protected]) but the problem arise here too. I am very unsatisfied with Airtel connection services.

                            Hello, I have been a subscriber for Airtel for last 16 months and having the contacts no [protected], [protected], [protected] . I have raised the issue of poor network and coverage. I am paying an average of 5000 INR bill through these connections but these Airtel poor are not acting to correct this. Even i bough a doungle 2 days back with expectation of good speed while thinking that may be Airtel is not focusing more new technology and may be suporting to wi fi technology in much better way. But, this was just a myth in my mind. I bought a WI FI doungle with 3G connection [protected] with 1250 monthly rental wtih 8GB 3G speed data.When i connected it, i am clearly feeling cheated. I request the forum to study their pattern of charging for 3G. I am clearly in impression that these guys are supplying 3G for some time and remaining time they are supplying with 2G speed.                               Hi, After getting irritated and frustrated with your service i am writing this email. I am Karthikeyan, residing in Vellore. I use Airtel Postpaid service and my number is [protected]. I activated my postpaid sim two months ago. But now i want to switch back to prepaid. For this your customer care executive (through 198) confirmed me several times that i can switch back to prepaid service anytime i wish. So, i went to all available airtel authorized showrooms in Vellore, none helped me and none accepted my request to switch back to prepaid. What all i took with me 1. Cash to clear all my pending bill amount. 2. Photos 3. ID proof, Address proof (Original and Xerox) What they told 1. Showroom Name : Madhan Mobiles, Opp to CMC hospitals, Gandhi Road, Vellore Agent Name : Unknown His explanation : "Airtel stopped the scheme of switching postpaid to prepaid temporarily, we cannot do that now" After contacting your airtel customer care executive (198) i went back and said that the option exists and i want them to accept my request and docs. Agent Explanation: "You need to go to where you bought and activated the Sim". SERIOUSLY!!!????? This is the most dumb showroom and agent i have ever seen.. 2. I went to the showroom where i activated my postpaid Sim. Showroom Name : Airwaves, Raja theater opposite, Vellore - 1 Agent Name : Unknown His Explanation : "You cannot switch to prepaid from postpaid unless 3 months is over since you activated your postpaid sim" Again i contacted customer care executive (198) and handed over my phone to the agent, they had a conversation and customer care executive told that now that agent will accept my request and docs now and ended the call. Agent Explanation : 1. My showroom is a new one. So, i still didn't get the link to accept my request (He means link in his agent account in airtel website. something like that) 2. The man who handles these requests got released so i dont have resource to process my request. 3. He asked me to drop my mobile no, so whenever he gets all above he can call me. I asked when can i get the call, he said he cant say exactly. (How can i trust him????) 3. Showroom name : Didn't see exactly. Address : Opposite to Pachaiyappas Showroom, next to reliance petrol bunk, National Theater stopping, Vellore. Feature : These people deal with Airtel Broadband too. Agent Explanation : "You cannot switch to prepaid from postpaid unless 4 months is over since you activated your postpaid Sim" I said that Airtel customer care executive confirmed that i can change to prepaid anytime i want and there is no restrictions. They said "CUSTOMER CARE EXECUTIVES DONT KNOW THE RULES" (WOOOW). Again i made a call to customer care executive (198) and explained the situation, handed the phone to that agent. Then they spoke for a while something about the process, i didn't understood those terms. After their conversation, your customer care executive ended the call without confirming weather the issue is solved or not. (This is where i got irritated and frustrated on you people). Agent Explanation : They said that i must go to where i bought and activated the SIM (Back to the first reason). (I lost my patience and control and just got out of your Airtel DUMB showroom). Questions: 1. Who knows rules properly your Agents? or your Customer care executives? 2. Why both agents and customer care executives information have lots of contradiction? 3. Do i really have an option to switch back to prepaid? (Please tell me the truth.) 4. What is the procedure to switch back to prepaid? (Please please please tell me the correct way and correct showroom and correct agent with name and phone number) 5. Why airtel showroom agents are giving so many contradictory and wrong statements about the issue i asked. (you can see how many reasons i have mentioned above) 6. Do i need to get any recommendation letter to change from postpaid to prepaid, like minister, MLA or anything?? 7. Do you want me to pay more for this?? atleast tell how much. PLEASE DO SOMETHING, SO AGENTS CAN TAKE MY REQUEST TO SWITCH BACK TO PREPAID. If this email too failed to solve my issue, i really don't know what to do.                                 We had taken 2 separate PC secure connections for phone no [protected] for two laptops. We no longer had two laptops hence requested to cancel one PC secure connection which was up for renewal in August 2014. The executive promptly disconnected both the PC secure connections while we requested for only one to be discontinued. Also we had already paid an amount of Rs. 850 plus for the Aug 2014 pc secure. The executive also promised that the amount of Rs.850plus will be refunded in the next billing cycle. Its been 3 months since and several frustrated phone calls each lasting 30 mins or so and still no outcome. The service representatives are pathetic and lack any knowledge of the product or have any comprehension skills as they just do not understand. Now not only is airtel not providing me PC secure for which I have already paid, you are not refunding the amount for services that I no longer use. Its just pathetic the level of service you offer for the so called " platinum customer" of yours. Just empty words. If this is the level of service offered to a longstanding multiple connection holder of yours how about others. Please do something about this before I pull out all my connections.

We are really ashamed to say company like Airtel is having such a service to their customer.                                       Sir, I was BSNL customer for a long time with same number [protected]. Due to worst network and service back up I had opted for Portability option from BSNL to Airtel a year ago. For sometimes, airtel network too bad but using the above mentioned (Now Airtel) number in my Tab for quite long time. As I am associated with a trust, I depend on my tab for everything from communication to banking. Quite often I recharge for my data and using it. On 07/10/2014 evening, I was unable to use my tab as No network was available. Whole night waited and remains same. On 08/10/2014, morning, I visited Airtel relations ship center at Chrompet, Chennai. After three hours of wasting my time, One employee told, Your SIM ([protected]) was not in use. I asked the reason and told, until last day evening I used and what happened suddenly? Then one officer told, I have to apply afresh with ID proofs for re activation and have to wait for one week. I was dejected and disappointed and submitted required proofs with form. They provided me a new SIM[protected]) for the cost of RS, 25/= On 11/10/2014, morning, after heavy try, I could manage to speak with your customer care executive on mobile number [protected] and told everything. After checking details, your executive told, No such airtel number ([protected]) is present in our records and asked me to call Airtel nodel officer in Mobile No. [protected], on Monday (13/10/2014) also provided me a SR no: [protected]. On 13/10/2014. I have been calling Nodel officer number and been banged with series o[censored]seless IVR responses. I brief What happen. When I call Nodel officer No [protected], Namaste, a very warm welcome to Airtel. For English Press 1 and HIndi Keliye Dho(2) Dhabaiyen (I pressed 1) IVR : first time user use 121 and 198 for complaints and queries. Listen carefully the options If you are having SR No press 1 If you are unable reach 121 or 198, Press 2 (I pressed 1) IVR : Press 1 for postpaid and 2 for prepaid (I pressed 2) IVR : Enter your 10 digit Mobile number I keyed in - [protected] IVR : Sorry this number is invalid Again i tried through another option IVR : first time user use 121 and 198 for complaints and queries. Listen carefully the options If you are having SR No press 1 If you are unable reach 121 or 198, Press 2 (I pressed 2) IVR : Please call 121 for queries and 198 for complaints. Should I laugh or cry? Pleaaaaaaaaaaaaaase help me to retrieve my number [protected] ASAP as this number is very very important and registered mobile number in many services (Sir above IVR responses are not as exact as original) My alternative Mobile no: [protected]

                                      After above mail, I had sent complaint to Airtel Appellate authority too. Soon, Mr. Deepak from Chennai, Chropmpet Customer Relationship centre personnel called me and promised me to resolve. He was very kind and responsible. After his 5 days marathon effort and my relentless chase, finally today (18/10/14), the issue resolved. I thank Mr. Deepak for his patience and understanding as well as, I kindly request Airtel to improve your service backup more. Thanks

                                        I am writing to complaint about the blatant denial of airtel representatives in rescinding of my airtel services linked to the account number[protected]. In spite of my repeated pleas, no action has been commenced from airtel's side. The first request, to abrogate the airtel number, was being sent on 30th September, for which the corresponding reference number was PO[protected]. Thereafter, at least three calls were received on my alternate number. The calls from the representatives assured me that the services to the concerned number were going to be removed soon. However, to my consternation, the services are still active. Therefore, I have had launched a new complaint PO[protected] on 9th October, which refers to the let down on airtel's part to resolve my issue. Unless any action is soon initiated on my grievance, I would be tempted to launch my grievances against airtel's failure to concentrate on my supplication, on various consumer forums; and, subsequently file a complaint in the law court against the unethical behaviour of airtel. I am hoping that the further aggravation could be avoided by airtel's timely intervention, and I look forward to hearing from the concerned authorities soon. In fact, messages sent to the delhi nodal officer has bounced back, indicating that there is gross misrepresentation of information on airtel's site to bewilder customers causing intense anguish and agony for their pending issues.
