I have requested for shifting of connection on Sept 1st. Today is Oct 4th Still now they didnt give the connection everytime, engineers are coming they are 8th standard passed out guys. They dont know what is happening. They only know connect the wires. But Airtel is calling them engineers. They dont know how to move also. Everyday they will tell you that today they will close the deal something like that. But nothing will happened everyday. Please dont go with them they are big cheaters.. Customer care representatives are very poor. They don't know reginal language or English Please dont go with them . You will sturggle a lot.

    I have no Dth connection since 3rd October. I had raised a complaint with AIRTEL customer care on Thursday and till date my complaint is pepending.repeated calls to the customer service they give a false assurance that they are working on it and the engineer would be calling soon

      I've been an customer of Airtel for about 6 years now. I recently booked Xiaomi Redmi 1s from Flipkart and since this phone has 3g connectivity i was in need of a new sim card which can handle 3g frequencies. I got myself a 1gb 3g internet pack and guess what i get 5-10kbps speed. I go to their local Airtel store and they blame my brand new phone saying "its faulty". I was a fool to believe them inspite other Sim cards worked perfectly fine, i asked Flipkart for a replacement of the product as they've 30 day return policy. After i received the new phone i insert the sim card with a ray of hope that internet will work properly, this time its even worse, it won't even connect to the Internet. I go to their Main office in Bangalore, Talk to them and they've only one option "Change Sim Cards" I pay 50rs again for a new sim card hoping the issue will be resolved. To add up to my disappointment the story repeats. Their customer service people are rude. All i told them was" I used Docomo for 3g and it worked perfectly fine but Airtel isn't, what might be the problem?" I don't understand how this is comparing the two service providers. And i clearly told them i Use Mi Redmi 1s and i receive the settings for Mi3. I'm not sure if they've the same settings. I've the scrrenshots of every message i've recevied and all the sim cards. In the picture i've attached you can see that internet is not connected even though Data connection is enabled. I'm hoping this issue can be resolved ASAP.

        To the Manager, I was having an internet package in my mobile with validity till 8th oct.2 days before I loaded my prepaid mobile for call with 200Rs.I didn't make any major call.Today when I was trying to make call getting information no enough balance.I am sure that my internet usage during last 2-3 days were no or very less.Not sure on waht basis the big amount is getting deducted in airtel.It looks like irrespective of validity internet package stops from 1st of the month.Why? Customer support is too pathetic and not even checks the data usage.Please look in to it. Rajeev, [protected]

          My name is Abhijeet Shinde. I own two Airtel numbers both postpaid, one from MP circle and one from Mumbai circle. On 9th July, 2014, I had called Airtel Customer Care Centre (121), to ask them to change the plans on my "Mumbai" circle airtel number. Apparently they changed the plans of "MP" circle number. I received the conformation of the same and immediately I called them back to tell the mistake and also to rectify the same i. e., to change the "MP" circle number back to its original plan and also to append the said change to "Mumbai" number instead. Airtel changed my Mumbai number to the new desired plan but did not revert the incorrectly imparted plans on "MP" circle number. Post that, I had no means to actually come to know that I am being charged at a different tariff and thus, I continued my routine usage. Only upon receiving the bill for the month of July I realised that the "MP" circle number is being charged at different tariff and that it is incorrectly heightening the bill. I have then approached Airtel again on Customer Care and informed them regarding the same and also requested them to rectify it as soon as possible. Once again, I was supposed to believe upon their promises that the issue will be taken care of and as asked by them I continued my usage "Tension-Free". The same incident repeated when I received the bill for Aug'14 and I once again contacted them to rectify the issue. This time I asked them to provide me call records for all my previous contacts with Customer Care post 9th July. I was denied the same (Although it comes under RTI and a separate request would be filed by me for possession of the same). When I approached Airtel Customer Care yet again on 27th Sept, I was promised special and exclusive attention on the matter and was requested direly "NOT TO CALL AGAIN". As it is they call it the "PLATINUM" care unit, I refrained myself from going out of the way. Post that I have not received a call till today. Today morning I have called Airtel once again to connect me to higher authorities in view of the inability of the ground staff to rectify my grievance. Upon tremendous amount of requests (for contact details of a competent authority and also for the possession of the call records) I was extended two numbers both of which are inoperative on Saturday and Sunday (Apparently they are Escalation desks). I was again denied the call records. I have now paid following amount under incorrect tariff plans for my number ([protected]) Rs. 2172/- for the month of Aug Rs. 1786/- for the month of Jul Now Airtel had billed me Rs. 3084 for the month of Sept. Following are the details of calls between me and Airtel Customer Care. (as provided by airtel) Date Name of Attendant/Executive 9th Jul Reena Boi 10th Jul Seema Rajput 29th Aug Navin 27th Sep Pankaj Singh 4th Oct Narendra 4th Oct Raviraj Beyond all this, Airtel also extended me the service of caller tunes, without my consent or approval. The caller tune had very deterent words like "Mr. Abhijeet ek Pratishtheet vyakti hai.. Inka samay mehetwapurna hai". I work at a rural to semiurban place where I happen to interact with nearly 67 dealers on almost daily basis and all of them are highly sensitive to such a repellent message on my phone. My image has taken a considerable damage due to this provision by airtel and it will take several months before I can win the trust of my dealers back and have a smooth professional relationship with each one of them. If not repelled, dealers have taken it as my stupidity and immaturity, again causing me immense amount of pain and disbelief in myself. I have a feeling o[censored]tter disregard and complete dissatisfaction about this company. For last two and a half months, I feel harassed by Airtel, not just for money but also for individual profiling towards minimalistic treatment. I have given Airtel ample of opportunities to rectify these issues and in no possible way can this message/complaint be treated as being an over-reaction. With all the problems on the head, I am also unable to port my number to other service providers. I am hopeful the consumer forum will have a solution to my grievance. regards

            Sir, I received a promotional call from Airtel regarding postpaid mobile connections sometimes around 26.09.14 to which I asked for porting of my pre-paid connection of Vodafone to post-paid connection of Airtel.In response, I received call from Mr. Ashish( mob.no.[protected]) on 27.09.14. One person with Airtel logo bearing shirt visited my residence on 27.09.14, filled airtel plan form, charged Rs.250/- towards activation charges, issued receipt no. 96477and delivered a blank sim no.[protected].He asked me to send SMS to 1900 reading PORT [protected] which I did. I received Unique Porting Code VE637788 promptly.On 28.09.14, address verification was done.There after, somebody came and handed over another sim card telling me that prevoous sim was wrongly given. Since above date, status of my mob. no.is not known. I made several calls to Mr. Ashish from my another airtel no. [protected] for knowing the status. Every time he assures me of reverting to me on my above no. but forgets. Incidentally, I called customer care of VODAFONE today. She told me to ask Airtel customer care to contact her. I in turn requested Mr. Ashish to contact Vodafone customer care. May I also tell you that Vodafone sim is still active. I bothered you to please intervene and set the things resolved immediately.               To the Manager, Every time I have called the customer care I have had the worst experience. But this time was the most horrible time. I called at 3:40 pm to complaint against the connectivity problem I had and she said that it is not a problem from our end and simply disconnected the call. Please don't come back to me saying that the call was disconnected on its own as I have heard it enough. She disconnected it and I am sure about it.                   Hi, Let me begin by saying that I have had airtel mobile connection for around 9 years before I decided to personally disconnect myself completely from airtel mobile due to very poor and pathetic customer service and moved on to vodafone. I have an airtel DTH now for the past 1.5 years. I have moved from one block to another within my apartment about 15 days back. I registered a request for transfer of connection as soon as I shifted. I got a call from an airtel person saying there is an MDU planned for this block and if I were to wait for 5 days, it would save unnecessary work for me. I waited through and again registered a new complaint this time around being ready to pay for a new antenna as I had been using an MDU previously too but again, I just got a call where another airtel person told me he would visit me, check the status of MDU and let me know the accurate status and if I am not fine with the delay, install a private dish unit for me. The person never called back and when I called back, I got another number from him who gave me yet another number. No one came to meet me even after that. I have escalated on this issue three days back and I was positively assured that the airtel personnel would visit me and have not been able to reach me for the past few days regarding this issue (inspite of me talking to 6 different airtel guys so far) and there would be someone at my house from airtel within 12 hours. I did get another call saying they would visit me and check the status and give me an update. With more than 48 hours gone, am still waiting for that 12 hours to complete and for a person to visit. So far, I have spoken to 6 different airtel personnel directed from the phone complaints or redirected from the persons who called on phone who all assured me that they would visit me, check the status and arrange for the connection issue to be resolved. I am deeply disappointed at such a poor service that no matter what, I do not think I want to continue with airtel DTH or go for anything with airtel in it henceforth. I am moving on to another service. I have lost more than the 550 odd rupees that I had recharged before moving from my old residence and around an hundred that I spent on phone calls to the airtel personnel who I called back to check the status; I have lost my faith in airtel as a service provider. Please note that I am also planning to drop out of airtel sphere altogether which includes a couple of airtel telephony connection of my family members (who are irate due to the fact that they have been without TV for a couple of weeks) as well as dropping my plans of getting an airtel wifi.

                        I have tried to recharge Rs 125/- for a 2G data pack for Airtel mobile [protected] today morning. I used my HDFC Debit Master card. After online card payment of Rs. 125/- the amount had been deducted in favour of Bharti airtel from my account but no recharge has been done. I want an explanation for this. HDFC Bank has sent the money deduction confirmation and I have attached the bank's deduction photo proof. On calling the customer service at 198, I get a reply stating that Rs.125 2G recharge has been stopped. If that is so then why are you displaying it in available option when someone tries to do online recharge. I have attached a photo for that too. If the scheme has been discontinued then why is the payment being deducted form bank account. I request you to recharge the amount to the given phone number and see that this should not happen again.                             I had sent an sms to port my number to other network on 24th sept later i received a call from airtel team on 25th evening however your executive enquired the reason why i want to port then i stated him that i hv network issue and billing issue so he assured me that for network issue i have to visit to the airtel office and get the sim exchanged as it is a sim issue and for billing issue he stated that he is reducing Rs.100/- from my current month bill i.e Sept bill Rs.578/- and even informed that i would get the confirmation on the same within 48 hours but till date i have not received any confirmation. Later on 29th sept i called the customer care number and informed the same to them but they are so inefficient and told me there is no cut down on th bill and even told me that whatever call i have got is false and they have not at all called and cannot give that cut down on the bill. Now my grievance is y the hell you give such assurances when you are unable to keep up the word given to the customers. Is this a kind of service given to the customer it is really worst service i have ever seen. i have even got the reference number for the complaint i had given i.e 58216203 now i want the thing what was assured to me after that only i will be paying the bill.

                              This is to bring to your notice that I Mr. Brahamdev Mandal had
                              activated 399 plan for my above number regarding this, the plan which had
                              activated on my number was 748 plan due to which I received excess bill amount
                              to pay.

                              In this regard, I m sure ther is some error from your side, I spoke to
                              the concern person, I have received first call from your side Tel No.
                              is [protected] to make payment of bill of Rs.1500 approx but the bill amount was
                              3900 approx. and balance amount will be wavied off. As per conversation I paid
                              the above mentioned amount even though there was no waviver of balance amount &
                              my mobile number was also not activated.

                              Same as above, for second time I received the call from Tel No.
                              [protected] in this coversation I had told to pay 5100 approx. which I have
                              rejected to pay the amount, even though I paid Rs.2500 & from your side it was
                              told that your Mobile bill get Active & all balance amount will be wavied off.
                              But till date there is no reply or action taken from your side. Further, I will
                              not pay any amount of bill which will be generated from your side.

                              Kindly look into the matter & activate my number as soon as possible.

                                    I am really disappointed because of airtel service and I will surely raze this issue at extrim level. It's really surprise yestarday I have called to customer care he said I have used 662mb net uses from 750 montly free use but I got massage from airtel to I have consumed 100% of net pack how can that possible if records are showing I have used around 662 of 750 in airtel system I had word with Mr. Swapnil ( customer care ) I have confimed two times for the same he said its true fact and I requested him to take complaint against my extra bill amount he told me that complaint is registered and you will get call in 24 il hours but till I haven't received a single call. Today I have called again on 121 as per discussion with Mr. Aapasaheb he told me you have used 842 mb and that 500 re charge is more applicable on my bill what your think I am fool??????? If you guys are not serious about your work I will take very strict legal action against I have all recordings and you too go with all conversation and revert back as soon as my net is not working properly due I am facing lots of problems. I have complaint with my previous bill issues if you don't want costumer like me live it having lots of companies in market and you have to solve this issue arrange call back on priority weather this time I will not thing to go ahead with highcoart as well.                                       Sir, This is to inform you that a few days earlier I had taken a 4G Internet connection from Airtel but to my disappointment it is highly unreliable and keeps getting disconnected, even the network is not available most of the times. I have been using airtel mobile connection since 2001 and it had been very reliable. Trusting its services I took Airtel Internet Connection and was disappointed.I had switched my previous Tata Photon Plus Internet connection in favour of yours even though it had such good network that I could avail its services even at remote villages. But this connection is not even available at Kolkata, I don't even want to know what will happen in villages, the network is so bad.
