hi, I am airtel customer for long period, till date I am glad to use their service, today I had a very bad experience with employees from airtel office at Marathalli, Bangalore. This is the issue, my sim had a problem and totally no network coverage. it was for almost a week, I went to airtel office at Marathalli. When I approached one of those guy, he told me to provide passport copy, Driving license card copy, and address proof agreement with notary sign, like lawyer sign, the response was quite dull and when I asked him why such formalities are not there during new sim activation, he has told that it was done. People should understand the amount I need to spend for notary sign is expensive and surprise that why people have complicated the process for replacement. Though my interpretation might be wrong, but the response went to third rated kind which was surprising to me to expect from airtel employees for the first time. I am going to disconnect/ to say will heave the sim to trash and go for other subscribers. This is not the end, I seriously demand disciplinary action against those employees, if airtel wants to get their business smooth going forward. I am going to spread message on the issues across facebook and other community forums and wherever I think it will raise a heat at media level. Worst of all, the emp has underestimated my age and given bad response which hurt me lot.

    I am Vinaya Kumar, I have Bought a Airtel SIM from a
    vendor, number on 15/17/2014, I have given my PAN CARD as ID
    proof, but yesterday I got a message to my contact number content below


    airtel activation update: Request no.[protected] has been booked for
    mobile no. [protected]. For further update, SMS STATUS (mobile no.) to
    121 (airtel mobile) or to [protected] (other mobile).

    also today i got
    one more message Namaste! 4G GPRS without Video Call 5 GB 4G LTE Free
    (After 5GB, 100 percentage Free) - KK Basic Service 4G Dongle Cost
    recovery with 12 month lockin charges 416 X 12 - KK has been started for
    your airtel 4G LTE number [protected]


    I contacted Airtel office in
    Koramangala Bangalore, They told me nothing to worry...as there is to
    step verification.i have even sent a email regarding this to
    airtel.[protected]@in.airtel.com, but till now they dint get back to me.

    Who's number is [protected] ???I fell something fishy.please resolve this
    as soon as possible, also activate my number

      while i was surfing the internet, I received some message from airtel stating activation of some crap VAS service "Sexual Health" on my number [protected]. Further an automated message was sent somewhere and i was charged Rupees 1.5 for same. I would like to hereby request your side to please; 1.Deactivate the service as soon as possible 2. Refund the said amount of INR 31.5 to my account ie [protected] 3.To enable DND ( Fully blocked category on my cell so not that even i am redirected to airtel site without my consent) I have been a loyal customer to Bharti. Hope the actions taken would let me remain same otherwise if Airtel begins to follow in footsteps of private sector cellular service provider, switching would be a good option then.

        Mobile No. [protected] and [protected] I have paid the bill amounting to Rs. 112/- for each mobile on 17/10/2014 at about 08.44 AM from my card and my bank has confirmed the payment but the airtel department did not confirm till date, so kidly send the confirmation immediately at my another No. [protected].

            Dear sir, I have been your customer for the last ten year. My computer modem is in one room and the telephone connection is in another hall. At the time of installation the wire connection was covered with plastic patti by your company. Now recently, I contacted your office and informed them to remove all the line since I am going to repair my house. For that your engineer has told me, over PHONE ITSELF WITHOUT COMING IN PERSON TO MY HOUSE, to remove all the connections by myself and assured to give connection when the repair is work is over. When the repair work is over in the last week, I requested them to come and give connections. Now they say that the connection line will not be covered by plastic, as the company policy is changed. When I protested this and insisted for the line to be covered, your administration people has agreed to reduce the bill amout by about Rs.500-00 and sent message accordingly. Now I again I requested them to visit my house and give connections and I agreed to provide the plastic cover. Your engineer today called on me at my house to give connection and I requested him to fix the cover(which I will purchase and provide) and give connections. He informed me that it is not his work and requested me to engage an electrician and complete this work so that he will again call on me and give connections for which i agreed. Now your technical staff called on me over phone that he will close the complaint now and I have to give a fresh complaint. I am very much annoyed and disgusted. What a poor service from such a famous AIRTEL.? I am completely dis-satisfied. As I have 10 to 15 connection within my relations, I have to spread this kind of treatment by your office. Since my complaint has not been satisfied for the last ten days, I withhold my bill payment for the last month, which I had to pay by 16th of this month. I want my grievance is to be settled wtihin this week and then only I will make payment of the bill without any penalty. K.Raghavendran

              I have Registered for Airtel Broadband new connection on 12/09/2014. 13/09/2014 i have received connection request number as 27082905 via SMS. on third day i called their customer care regarding connection, they said due to some technical reason they cannot provide me broadband connection, then i asked them to refund the amount, all this conversation was via phone. On 24/09/2014 i wrote an email to 121 service stating to confirm that they are going to refund the amount. Surprise .. They did not initiate the refund process. First thoughts, if I don't write them, they would have consumed my money. I got call stating they can provide connection now, which i did not want as I already brought the service from a different provider. Then they tried to convince me, they will refund only 1000/- where as i need to get 1100/-, i have sent the CAF Photo image which has all the details, why they need this actually CAF, they will be having it in their database, anyhow i have posted the CAF. I have mailed at all the below mentioned email ID's <nodal.[protected]@in.airtel.com>, <appellate.[protected]@in.airtel.com>, <[protected]@in.airtel.com> I see they have become Hardcore crooks, they do not respond any more. I want my refund back. I can paste all the conversation so far, i had with them. Let see if they hear now and pay my money back REF08812712 [protected]

                I am really very disappointed the reputation of Air tel is too down now days. I have complained before 15 days back on Consumer forum Of India till date no satisfaction not proper solution no assistance I guess Air-tel is used to for this kind of Consumer forum complaints they having lots of money to handle this kind of cases but for your kind info this time your customer is totally opposite to your strategies and thinking. I will raise the issue till HC, SC if need and I will fight for my rights. You have stopped my phone service you have done your work now don't arrange single call or follow up for the same I am buying new card today effectively and I will show all the profs which I have also out with news paper I will invest my money there at least that is worth for me then pay you. I have 3 bellow complaints:- 1- Your customer care ex Mr. Swapnil have giving wrong info with commitment he said I have noted your complaint you will get call in 24 hours but I haven't got a single call strange Air-tel don't have that much manpower. Totally wrong coordination he don't know even what is the rules of TRY. 2- That day I have got one massage from Air-tel you have consumed your 100% data use please call 121 for packs. I have called but Mr. Swapnil said you have consumed only 90% till date he have checked twice this is the biggest mistake and tech issue from Air-tel which i have already analysis before. 3- 2nd day I have called again for the same Mr. Appasaheb assisted that time he have taken my complaint and said you will get call again 24 hours but till 3 days no call from Air-tel again strange. 4-After long fight 7 days back I have got proper call from Ms. Bhawna but no solution she was offered me 140.Rs discount what do you think i am beggar ??? and they protects them self no fear no apology, I have all the profs if legal lawyer ask for my discussion recordings with your customer executives you have to submit also I have mails as well. 5- I agree when i was in Delhi bill been raised but when i was in Mumbai also i was getting same level bill i got your strategies always i am also corporate person. Also in 1 week consumed 2.2GB net ohh my god i think India's president is also not that much busy on social sites i guess i am so popular. 6- Yesterday only i have got call from customer care he told someone senior will call but no calls no massage, mails i am totally confused you guys are stooped my service without proper solution if i will missed any IMP or official call you will responsible for the same. Worst coordination i ever seen in my life. Till i am waiting for adjustment and wave if i am getting satisfactory waver i will continue or else coordinate me i will go with other brand.                   Totally cheap company, received unlimited message from CB regarding new song 578785, without activated any plan sms pack, they deducted amount from the balance. no response getting form customer care executive, hundred times made a call regarding this.

                          Earlier i had a Plan of 375, in which i had 1 GB 3g data usage free. I got a call from Airtel Customer care, that you can change your plan to 450, in which you will have 2 Gb data . So i later verified this with Airtel Customer care and changed my plan to 450. Now i have received a bill of 1400 in which my rental is 850.: I.e: 375+450 + Taxes. They are fooling me saying. that u changed your plan by removing the 1 GB data that u already have in 375 to 850.. Please someone explain.. if i wanted 2 Gb data, y would i opt for 850 rental, when i can have this with 375 + 300 for extra 1 GB???? Airtel are a cheat. They have stopped picking up my Call to 121.                                   Dear Sir, I was holding an Airtel dongle (#[protected]). In the month of June'14 I had called Airtel customer care to cancel my connection as I was sure I will not continue this connection. They took the request and also said that I should not be cancelling my connection as i am a valuable customer and someone from their end will call me back. This never happened. I called them back after some days as there was a new bill generated. They gave me the same response and no one from Airtel called me back. The operators at Airtel have not registered a formal complaint to disconnect my number and they are blaming me for their shoddy work. The proof is the call records to the Customer care in the month of June and later. I have paid all my dues for the usage I have done and Airtel have been charging me inappropriately and they refuse to cancel my connection. Lately I have been receiving calls from their office stating that I would be sent a court notice If I fail to clear the dues. I have as of now received 4 calls from them asking me to pay atleast rs1000/- out of the 1785.40/-. I do not understand why I should be paying them for non-usage of their service. Finally after much heated debated with their officials and forcing them, they cancelled my service (#[protected]. Even after this, they have been calling me and stating that they will keep billing me till 6000/- INR and then file a court complaint. I would urge you to kindly take a look at this irrationality and provide a solution.

                                  dude is it resolved or not i m also going on same kind of problem this airtel guys r u big cheater i have seen many complaint like this, thats why i have not cleared my dues i m asking them cancellation receipt with final settelment slip but they want to pay 1st. &amp; then they will raise complaint of cancellation i know they again activate it &amp; create bills.

                                  Not yet, They said they will call me by 2:30 PM and they are yet to call me. I think we should take these folks to the court for harassing the users.
                                  Thank you for forwarding the complaint. I called Mr.Vijay from Airtel, as directed by Airtel, he assured me to call me back by 17-Oct-2014, 2:30 PM after understanding the issue.

                                  I did not receive any call from them. So i wrote back to the Airtel executive that Mr. Vijay is yet to call me. Immediately i get a call assuring that I will be called next as he was attending another customer. I wait and till this time, there has been no call.

                                  This is the same delay that happened when i asked to cancel the connection and I am spending my valuable time running from pillar to post just to see who will resolve my concern because the executives think they can rifle the customer with intimidating statements.

                                    Hi, Thanks for providing response to my query, if you have read the attached email in my request sent yesterday, you will understand that I sent request for de-activation on 29th August 2014. It is not my fault that you will de-activate the service on 6th October, rather it’s Airtel fault for not deactivating the service on time and unnecessarily charging this amount to me. Being a customer I informed Airtel on priority that services are not working on this plan, therefore de-activate it immediately. If the services are not working on this plan, especially the email attached for reference, than how can use the services and pay for the same. Once again, please check your records especially email dates the ones sent by me and you will now that what I saying make sense. Without further harassing me anymore I am copying this mail to your OMBUDSPERSON, to investigate this case further and send me a response Also I’ll be writing to Mr Bharti Mittal attaching all the email conversations that I had send to Airtel and the delayed response from your side on my request/concern and even mentioning how Airtel team is harassing me to pay this amount again and again without using any services of this data plan, for which I have all mail records available with me. I will be parallel writing an email to my Organization explaining them this issue so that they can immediately stop Airtel connection that we get in our office, so that other employees are not harassed like me.                                       I'm using airtel prepaid connection in AECS Layout/Bangalore. The service is very poor in spite of Airtel is charging so huge for calls and 3G internet, saying they are premium service provider in India. I really doubt that this is a "Premium service quality". 1. Every now &amp; then, call gets disconnected. After 5~10 try, call gets connected, &amp; then gets disconnected withing 3~5 seconds. If someone calls back, it gets disconnected after ringing for 3~4 seconds. 2. Data speed in 3G is very poor. Airtel is kind of pick pocket, looter. TRAI should ban Airtel.

                                        we bring to your atten: that from the past THREE MONTHS your connection is not working at least 15 days in a month. now we have compliant on 14/10/14 and it was rectified on 15/10/14 in morning. as am 10 pm when i checked on 15/10/14 it self if was not working. now i have again complied. this Drama is facing place from the past THREE MONTHS.we request you to look into the matter seriously and if you cannot rectify permanently then please cancel our connection.
