After going through all the 3G plans from other networks, I thought to activate 3G on my Airtel mobile number [protected]. But the confusion and frustration that I have been gripped in after my decision is literally exhausting and still no 3G or 2G internet on my phone. I have gone through all the channels of Customer Care, before mailing you. Below are the steps of action I have taken till now: 1. On Sept 22, 2014 @ 8:13 PM my request to change plan from Combo 2G 199 CUG to Super Executive 199 Plan was done. This change request was guided by customer care executive, who said that since I have 2G based plan on my phone I need to have a base plan on which 3G can be activated. The SMS received @ 8:13 PM on Sept 22, 2014 says: “Effective 22-SEP-2014, bill plan for your airtel mobile has been changed from Combo 2G 199 CUG Plan – PB to Airtel Super Executive 199 Plan - PB”. 2. Again on Sept 22, 2014 @ 10:38 PM my request for 3G services got processed and I received below SMS: “3G GPRS Service (Volume Based), 500, 2GB 4G/3G, [protected]@5GB(Rs. 20136), [protected]@0.50Ps has been activated on your airtel mobile with effect from22-SEP-2014. ” 3. After this conformation I used 3G services on Sept 22, 2014 post 10:40 PM and was very happy with the speed. 4. On Sept 23, 2014 @10:13 PM I received another SMS from airtel, post which the Internet services were discontinued on my number. The SMS says: “Namste! Mobile Internet usage for your airtel mobile [protected] as on 23-Sep-2014 is Rs 1421. Please pay Rs 1421 to enjoy continued mobile Internet services.” 5. I opened an online service request for above discrepancy with Ref No 58177137. Which Is now in closed with comments as “SR Resolved Online”. Additionally I called customer care and the lady responded that I don’t have to worry about this amount and that I will be billed accordingly to my bill plan in this month’s bill. Regarding Internet, she said that there might be some issues in the network and that this problem will get resolved by itself. 6. I waited and in evening I have to again make a call to CC, who rectified this issue. 7. On Sept 24, 2014 I received similar SMS as on #4, post which the services were discontinued. I called CC, where I speak to the senior of a CC Executive and was assured that the issue will be resolved in half an hour. 8. After around 4-5 hrs, I again called CC who enlightened me that I have to pay Rs. 1421 in order to get the 3G services back. As far as I know, I havn’t overused the 2G data from my Combo 2G 199 CUG plan or 3G data that I have activated on Sept 22, 2014 nor made any day long calls. On 25 Sept, Airtel barred my outgoing services as well. Why this much amount is billed now? What else I have to do to get the 3G services on my number? Is this how Airtel makes its customers feel special?? Please resolve this issue ASAP!

    I have to submit that on 25.08.14 an amount of Rs.1462/- towards payment of Bill in respect of Broadband connection no. [protected] (Phone No.[protected] for the period from 5th July 2014 to 4th August 2014 was made by me through the credit card of my son Saurabh Bhalla. After that I received a call from Airtel that I have not paid the bill. On going through the matter, it was found that due to oversight I mentioned the telephone no. as[protected] instead of[protected] and as such the payment made by me and meant for my a/c no. [protected] got credited to A/c No. 11711115 as told by airtel staff. Subsequently, I received several calls from different people from Airtel and I told the same story to them again and again and sent emails also and requested to resolve the issue. Even after detecting the error, I was again told to send an email claiming the amount and transferring the same to my A/c. Accordingly, I sent an email on 19.09.2014, but no action has been taken on their behalf so far and still receiving calls. I, therefore, request you to please take the following action immediately. “Transfer the amount of Rs.1462/- wrongly credited in A/c No. 11711115 to my A/c No. [protected] due to reason mentioned above”. Please take the above corrective action immediately. I have already paid the subsequent bill raised for Rs.1460/-. on 23.09.2014. All the mails were sent by my son Saurabh Bhalla. Sudha Bhalla

      Internet is not functional and the customer care representatives are declining to accept any service request. we are a firm of chartered accountants and lawyers and we have to file time bound returns and if the internet is not working there shall be penalties of lakhs of rupees. my fixed line number is [protected]. I am planning to file an official complaint if there is no update.

        My number ([protected]) is defunct since 20th sep14. After multiple complaints, visits to their service center and getting replacement SIM twice the number is still not working. Their call center tells me that everyting is okay with my number and they cannot investigate any further. I am helpless and totally shocked by the sheer incompetence of Airtel.           Hello, This is Mrs.Ruby Rehman Khan had being using number [protected] since last 10 to 12 years and had got a message to submit the documents by evening when I had reached the Airtel Gallery they say that the number is permanently deleted.I would say being a honest customer as also loyal to Airtel since years why did they deleted my number.This is a request to kindly provide me the same number as I haver submitted my number for bank purpose and many other uses.Kindly take this into comsideration.Waiting for a positive reply.My alternate number is [protected]

            I used airtel online recharge portal to recharge Rs102 (3g prepaid) to my mobile number using NetBanking. There was an error after hitting the payment gateway, so I got no notification etc. but my bank account got debited. The problem happened on[protected], around 5pm.

              I have Airtel no [protected] and subscribed for Rs 155 (1GB) data pack for 1 month on 06/09/2014. I have used excess data 163 MB and they charged Rs 877 against excess used data. It is not genuine bill against excess used data. So kindly take necessary actions against bharti airtel company. My 2nd contact no is [protected]

                  Hi, I'm using cable connection to view various programs and i suddenly decided it to change it to airtel dth and i contacted just dial to get the numbers. The very next movement i got a call from a Lady ([protected]). She explained me all the things regarding HD and standard boxes. when it comes packages i specifically requested for HD package and she said i ill get the all the channels(all telugu, HBO & Star movies) in Package 235 Per month. I question her twice to get the confirmation and she said it will. So i decided to take the connection. as soon as it get activated customer care team explained me about the package and other details. They have activated 390 package something. When i enquired about 235 package they said i ill not get HD channels. When i call that lady she is really rude and she didn't answered properly. I changed from Cable to Dish just to view the channels in HD not just normal things. Now when i contacted airtel customer care thru airtel mobile they kept me on call for close to 15mins i hope and they simply disconnected the call...which is really pathetic...second on website they mentioned within two hrs i ll get a response. So i have opened a query on 22nd Sep 2014 8:21 AM (DT[protected] it's been 48hrs but no response or call. I m totally disappointed bcoz i paid 1900 to get the new connection who is responsible????? Who will answer my questions??? who is the looser ???? who has to bare the loss??..I need Answer from AIRTEL DTH

                      I was trying to recharge (1 GB 3G Data & Rs.150/- Talktime Recharge) on 18th & 19th Sept 14 through credit card from airtel website but due to some technical issue of airtel payment was not successful. When i try to reach airtel executive one person was telling within 24 hours you will receive the payment or else it will automatically recharge. Another person was telling within 72 Hours & some was simply transferring the call to senior, but after some seconds its get disconnected... its was continued for 4 to 5 times or they listen completely & disconnect in between & they keep hold for long time. But my solution was not answered. And sometimes they doesn't listen fully & disconnect very easily this was for again 4 to 5 times. And same with airtel gallery they also doesn't respond properly. If Multinational Telecommunications Service Company like airtel do this type of service then as a Indian where we will go. Mostly International company like vodafone they give the best service as they value each customer even in vodafone gallery & even in phone also they respect the each customer. Seems will transfer to vodafone card. I am totally fed up with the service of Airtel. Lets see what consumer people do for my complaints. Hope for positive. Jai Hind !!!

                        Hello Team, I am using the number [protected], in which I have opted for 299 2G network combo plan. However, the company is charging according to 3G network. The executive told me there are two options under 299 combo plan: (1) 2G - 1.5GB OR (2) 3G - 750MB And I have opted for 2G network, in which I should get the 1.5GB data free. However the bill has been generated according to 3G plan in which I got 750MB free after that it has been charged. However, I have not used the 3G network I have used the network according 2G services. The total usage was 0.96GB. According to customer care executive the 2G network option has been withdrawn by the company but I had no clue about it as no one has informed me or called me regarding this. Note: The same executive who sold me this plan is still selling the 2G network 299 combo plan. Please look into this asap and revert me on [protected]. Thank you. Regards, Khushbu Chhatwani

                          airtel Account: [protected] I have a complain regarding my bill that has been generated for the bill period 5 aug to 4 sep. There is a section as value added service where I have been charged for sms-international although the message has not been sent by my cell.On talking to the customer care executive on 20-Sep at 11:30, I came to know the international number is [protected] which is nothing but a spam number. I want a clarification for the same that how have these messages been sent to the spam number for which I have been charged and if this is some other way to fool customers by charging them more than what they have used.

                          I have use your network since long back, I have seen this month bill in this month bill Rs. 305 added as Internet charges on my bill. I have never been used Airtel Internet, I alwys use perpaid net on my alternate sim. My request to you kindly wave off the said amount because off I never been used the same.

                            Hello my airtel prepaid number is [protected]. I had 200 MBs reduced from my internet balance, while I was travelling in the metro, without any signal on 24th September 2014. A few days back, my internet balance was around 700 MBs, which at present they have reduced to 12 MB, without any usage. This is not the first time airtel has reduced my MBs without any usage. On contacting the customer care, they transferred my call to a senior, but the call gets disconnected every time. It is very obvious that they are charging without any usage and do not want to give an adequate explanation. I want his issue resolved as soon as possible. juhee porwal [protected]

                              Sir, I "Subrata Bhattacharya" my mobile no is [protected], i have made a recharge a ISD plan voucher of amounting Rs. 101/-, vide transaction ID[protected], on dated-22.09.14, at time 5.17 p.m. and recived the SMS recharge is successful, after that i have made 2 nos. call to Bangladesh, as per the result Rs. 348 /- deducted from my balance . But as per the ISD plan declared that on recharge of 101/- you can make ISD call for 35 min. in free. After 22.09.14 i have call to airtel coustmor service many time but all in vain, i have not refunded any amount from airtel or any co-opration didn't given to me from airtel service. Please look the matter for refund of my Mobile balance.

                                Whatspp pack introduced by airtel has a big mis info. The info about the pack given in official website was that it includes 200mb of data for one month and we can share pictures. But after I activated the pack I still notice the data charges was been deducted from my main balance eventhough I had turned off all the app data except watsapp. I called the customer care and complained about the issue. Their answer was shocking to me. They said pack only applies for text conversation and no other data like images or audios. It took me 15 mins to explain them about the issue and at last they accepted to refund the amount. But still the website had pack active and there is no information about data application.

                                  Every day i am getting Message saying the "SUPERCOMBOPACK" service has been renewed and you have been charged Rs 35.0 from your airtel mobile Account.


                                  Thaough i have sent STOP Msg to 155223 even after also i got the same msg then i called to customer care and raised the complaint, then i got the stopped message from airtel customer care and same msg next day also i gto saying that renewed and charged Rs 35.0 from my account.I have to service request no.

                                    Dear Sir/Madam, I have subscribed to Airtel's postpaid plan 'My plan 999'. I had a very bad experience with Airtel. Following is chronology of events and details: 1) SIM Number : [protected] 2) FSO Code : DA 332 8071 3) Date of online payment : 26/08/2014 4) Documents collected by rep. on : 29/08/2014 5) After 2 days called their customer care but they had no clue. 6) First complaint No. : PO[protected] 7) Second complaint No. : 57892523 8) Thereafter e-mailed to their customer care then to nodal officer then to appellate authority. ( I don't understand why there is so many layers when they cant solve a simple problem). Kindly let me know if Airtel has their High Court and Supreme Court as well. Till date my number is not activated and when I go to their customer care, they show their helplessness. Now I want to port this number to some other service provider. Regards, Mukesh S.                                       Hi, I ported out to Airtel from Vodafone on my friends recommendation a little over 6 months ago. The service I have received is appalling. In the very first month, I had called up the service center to have them change my billing address which has not been done to date. My license has been provided as proof which does not mention this as the address. While enrolling for the plan, I was charged an extra Rs. 300 which was a security deposit. I was told by the agency that Rs. 100 would be deducted from my fourth to the sixth bill cycle. This too has not been done. Last month, I was charged for late payment. My airtel account has been linked to my bank and for some reason the bank failed to make the payment on time although I had gone to netbanking and instructed the payment. I had a call with the customer care executive who told me the charges are reversed. Yet, the charges show in this months bill plan. Two months ago, I had called the customer care executive to complain about unfair internet charges. The lady said she would have a senior call me up as she was unable to resolve the issue. This again did not happen. I was left waiting for a call and decided to just make the payment. As for the internet charges in my bill for the cycle Aug - Sept (the outstanding bill), I was not sent a single message warning me about my internet usage. Further, a notification setting on the airtel application which I use on my iPhone does not send me any notification. On speaking with a customer care executive, I was informed that I had not exceeded the internet allowance. Yet, in my past two or three bill cycles, I have been charged for excessive internet usage. How can you'll call yourselves India's leading mobile service provider when youll lag in customer support. I have never faced such issues with vodafone, However I have had to take out time to call the airtel customer care center on multiple occasions, all in vain. Also, no security deposit has been deducted. Have I been fooled by an airtel authorized vendor? I would request you to sort this issue out at the earliest else you'll are one step away from losing a a customer who you'll claim to value. I will take this matter up if justice is not provided. I would only pay a maximum of Rs.1000 for this months bill cycle due to such a massive inconvenience caused. It has been happening almost every month and I have just let it go. This must end. I request you to resolve this issue before my due date so I can make my payment on time. If you are unable to solve this issue, I would like to take the matter up with the appellate authority.                                         I had requested to convert prepaid to post paid on 11th of September and up to 22nd of September 4ó clock there was no response and after 4'ó clock without any prior notice the network got terminated and till now I cannot able to access the network, I am not able to make a call for last 40 hours, my communication lost completely. I contacted the network Executives more than 5 times and only got a cold response from their side. A company named Broad Win contacted me for converting pre paid to post paid and these people are not accepting the calls.
