I got a call from the number[protected] today morning (August 20th 2014, 7:43 AM), The caller was telling something about 25 lac lottery that the number I am using (mentioned below) has won. Figuring out that the call was a fraud call, I hang up the call. On further checking these complaints on internet, got to know that a lot of people have been facing similar issues. Some info was there on the Airtel Alerts Page as well. Airtel team, this is a very serious concern, people on the complaint forums were indicating that these numbers (starting with 92) are from Pakistan, which explains the seriousness of the matter itself. It looks like the Airtel numbers are becoming the target very often, even the call I received today was asking whether its a Airtel Number or not (he was claiming that he's calling from Airtel Main Office in Mumbai) Considering the seriousness of this matter, Can you please act upon this. It is very disturbing to get these fraud calls, becomes worse if you come to know the call was from Pakistan. Let me know the actions you are taking, otherwise I'll change the operator as it seems Airtel customers are an easy target.

    My Complain is as below and i am not able to submit my complain there issue in captcha (image code) verification: "i have recharge for 3G internet worth Rs.249. but i am not getting 3G Speed. what is the problem. it works fine with other carrier on same Sim slot. Pl. resolve this ASAP or not possible then redeem my recharge amount. "

        I have 2 Airtel 4G LTE connections at Kolkata with 5GB limits each - One is a dongle and another is a Wifi Router. Since the past couple of months I have noticed that with simple usage like email/facebook and general browsing the data crosses 80% within 10 days of the billing cycle date and I get an sms from Airtel. I somehow manage to use the connection for 15-20 days and have to dicontinue the usgae for some time or use it at the basic speed which is below the speed of an old telephone modem. I am not sure how Airtel calculates the data usage or if at all the calculation is fair!

        Even. I too have the same problem. Today I was downloading 3 GB file. But just after downloading 50% I observed that my data is drained more than 15 GB. Not able to understand how is this possible ? .. I am quite sure airtel is cheating the people like anything

              My number is [protected] and I have been receiving messages from AD-BLALRT, even though I have not subscribed for it. There is no provision to un-subsrcibe also! Airtel should also credit the balance they have deducted for a service that was not requested for!

                I had given a disconnection request for [protected] number on 2nd aug, 2014.

                I received an official mail from airtel that my sr no is 57437128 and my request will be processed by 13th aug, 2014 and that i will have to pay bill generated on 09/08/2014.

                When i paid the bill and mailed it to airtel, i received another mail that my previous request couldnt be processed due to technical isuue and my new request number is 57633510 and new bill will be generated.

                I tried to contact to raise complaint but no outcome.


                If there was some technical issues before how come i received the mail from your end on 5th august that my disconnection request has been registered. And only after i paid the bill so call technical issue occured.

                  1. Your Customer Care Executives are ill equipped and customer service is extremely poor. 2.Most stores, including corporate office, consider it below dignity to lift the telephone. Those idiotic recorded responses are simply unbearable and useless. 3. I had to visit three/four stores to get a simple prepaid mini sim. Some did not have the stocks and in others the system would not work. I am truly exasperated, I dont quite understand as to what the hype is all about, this is a remarkably inefficient set up. The hype and fancy advertisements about the organization are base less and deceptive, to say the least.

                    Sir, Sir, My mobile number is [protected].I was bought a Nokia Xl Mobile on 25th May 2014. I got an offer with this mobile that free application data offer on Nokia XL for 6 months - 500MB will be given per month for 6 months. I got only 2 month data pack from your side. I have been lodging the complaint regarding data pack. I got the message from your side that your data pack is activated but data pack is not activated from your side. Airtel Care Executive are the worst people I ever talk with him. They are very sarcastic and never give proper answer to whatever problem we have. They are very rude. Please solve this problem as soon as possible.

                      My husband works from DLF building (Mount Poonamallee Road) in Chennai. He is able to make calls through his mobile phone but could not get Mobile data coverage. His colleague uses 3G data card which also does not work . can you loonki into this ASAP?

Today my rest data was about 850 mb.today I used my facebook and also insalled an app of 7mb .but I found message of redusing 561 mb data via ussd. It is your dishonety. Please backup my refused data.unless I will complain to consumer forum.

                          Last week 14/08/2014 I have recharged my mobile [protected] with 50 Rs using Mobikwik.com But I dint get the amount for the Recharged and When I did recharge that time mobile was switched off and when I switched on and checked balance it was 6.96 only and i dint get the message and balance for the recharge. when i called airtel they said they will refund the amount but i dint get any refund till now the reference ID of the call is: [protected].

                                before i recharge my blackberry i called Airtel to ask for blackberry plan for my number [protected], airtel executive told me to recharge with Rs 113, so i did, but instead of blackberry weekly plan it gave me airtel min on my number, so i called again and complained on 198, they launched the complaint and said we will get back to you in 24 hrs, even they ask me to recharge again with 107 for another blackberry plan, so i paid 107 again for my blackberry Internet, still i am unable to use my Internet on my blackberry, i called them more than 10 times spoke to supervisors, but still they are not giving me Internet services, they don't want to comment on 113 Rs. expenses, i pad 107 rs on 14 th Aug 2014, its been 4 days still i am not able to use my Internet so far i got only complaint number CBBBI[protected] with exceeded time limit of 24 hrs and no resolution

                                  I have regular problem from the last 2 days that in my number its sending SMS in the number of 54999818. For SMS its deducting 3 rupees/SMS.I spoken with Airtel customercare and they didn't gave me any satisfactory resolution on this. This all happening without my knowledge.                                   I am facing similar types of issue with my Aircel number [protected]. I am getting continuous messages from 54999818 number saying "THANKS FROM TANLA SOLUTIONS" and my balance is reducing day by day. I have not got any satisfactory reply from Aircel. I think my service provider Aircel also joined the hand to loot the public money in this way. I should at least get a clarification from Aircel.

                                    I had migrated to airtel from idea network on 28 Jul 2014 based on promises by an airtel franchisee that the services would be better and prompt. My number is [protected]. From the day i migrated to airtel, 3G services have not been enabled in my mobile. I had contacted 121 on numerous occassions but the call centre is filled with a number of irresponsible . Every time they place me on hold for long durations and eventually disconnect the call. I had also written to nodal officer and subsequently to the appellate authority. Those people are also equally unconcerned about the perils faced by the customer. It has been more than 20 days and my matter still remains unresolved. To my dismay, one so called officer calls me up and says that 3G service is not available in your locality and hence you are not getting it. Another one says that your handset dosent support 3G (if Galaxy S5 dosent support, i wonder which other phone would support). I am posting this as a last resort hoping that at some level, someone would take note of my grievance. From idea i migrated to airtel and i feel that from the frying pan i have landed up into the fire.
