This is the worst customer service. Even after giving the complaint also the amount is deducting the more then the call rate. Last Sunday (13.7.14)I was called to customer care regarding the higher call rate. I have recharged with RC17 but the amount deduction is more than the call cost. To day(19.7.14) for 10:56 min Rs:16:40 is deducted. Please take the necessary action.

      I am holding two post paid connection bearing nos.[protected]/[protected]. The network in my residence area had totally dead since 26th May 2015 evening. As it was not possible for me to lodge a complain the same day due to unavailability network I had forwarded a complaint to 121 the next day and request them to sort it out immediately. Since there was no response from their end I again called them up in the noon and they had only the pre recorded answer which says the complain will be forwarded. For them it was a routine process. On my insisting they assured of a call back in two hours from their higher ups. It was around 3.43 pm they called me but I could not pick the phone as I was in an official meeting. They call us up from such number wherein we cannot call back. So again I called 121 and approach from their end was indeed very dull. They wanted 48 hrs to get back to me. After getting back home I found the situation the same and as such I had to use email option to follow up the issue. The response to my mail was that they needed 4 days to sort it out but there was not mention as to what I should do with my mobile which is almost a toy for now. This morning finally a gentleman called me up only to convey the time they require to sort the issue out. His argument was that the customer is bound to wait for periods the company put forth irrespective of the loss he may incur.The person who spoke to me and the ones who spoke via 121 were sitting in another part of the country and hence they are unable to give me a concrete reply about a problem that has cropped up in my city. My place is about 12 kms from the heart of the city and it would take less than 1/2 hour for your technical person to visit the spot and ascertain the situation. The most important factor in your service package is network without which the customer nor the company exists. So time should not be sought for such issues and the same has to be set right immediately like water or electricity supply. Anyway now that the company is still insisting on more time I am left with no other option but to opt for another service provider.

        same thing hpnd with me today. and same revert given by Airtel executive, but i did not give up them and finally they gave me a waiver against this stupid super combo pack. Government should take some stern action against such looting act .

          Hello, I wanted a smart sim for samsung s5, but was told by airtel relationship center that first I must apply for mini sim, and after activation re-apply for smart sim. they had no forms with them, so I went to pretail outlet to get one. after activation I went to airtel relationship center and was said that only smart sims are for postpaid connections and not for prepaid connections, so I got new micro sim for Rs.50/- from airtel relationship center for number [protected] at yelahanka, BB road, Bangalore-64, on 16/07/2014.I was said that it will be activated in 4hrs, but till now it is not, I visited again 2day at aroung 5pm and was told it will be done in 2 hours, but still its not activated.please do the needful, as my work is hampered. and today the person at the center kept my mini sim of the same number. hoping that the sim activation will be done asap and I will be saved any further loss as my clients are unable to reach me.

            Hi, This is Atul kumar saini. I have taken one Airtel postpaid mobile connection on 14.07.2014. The number allotted for me is [protected]. I received the new connection from airtel executive who delievered it at my office, the executive gave me a payment receipt from Virmani tele solutions, Gurgaon. The executive told me that the SIM will be activated within 24 hours at any cost. As of now the SIM is not activated. I have contacted the 121 customer care more than 3 times. The reply I received is that my request is not updated on the system. It is not my fault. I dont know why this much delay in Airtel for address verification for a single Postpaid connection. I thought of taking another postpaid connection from Airtel for my cousin. Now I dropped that idea. There is no meaningful reply from Customer care also. All fake commitments that customer care is working for 24 X 7. I have also tried on helpline number of the office[protected] from where I received new connection but nobody attended the Phone Also, if i call on their numbers they cut the call. At last I asked them to cancel my connection as it takes too much of time for activation.I got frustrated too much with the way they treat their customers. I am also a airtel prepaid user from last 10 years.This is how the Airtel company is treating their customers.

              My credit limit is Rs 1000. The bill generated was of Rs. 1378. There was no intimation sent that I was nearing my credit limit. Also, when I checked the unbilled amount using *121*2# and it always showed around Rs 600. So, I was not alarmed about exceeding my credit limit. This has happened earlier as well when the bill generated was of around Rs. 6000 and I was told that it will be ensured that I will be intimated the next time I near or exceed my credit limit. This cannot be tolerated as it has happened one too many times.

                  We would like to draw your kind attention to the subject where in the captioned mobile number is receiving frequent calls and messages for outstanding payment around 44-45 K INR while the same amount was paid vide cheque # 967992 dt 30/5/2014 of Oriental Bank of Commerce & same has been cleared in the Bank on June 7, 2014
                  For Mobile #[protected] there areis 2 relationship ([protected] &[protected]) numbers created from your end and we understood that the payment was showing outstanding till date against one of these numbers as a result of which the holder of the mobile no is receiving 3-4calls from your Customer care with occasional disconnection of outgoing communications.

                  Please note that this number belongs to senior most person of CSA group, India and this frequent disconnection causes a huge loss of our business and reputation.

                  We demand a clarification fromAirtel as to why you will not be penalized for this erratic and unprofessional approach to your customers due to faulty account management system at your end.

                      I gifted a caller tune to a number at[protected] at 12-02 am, also i choose a caller tune for my number. But the both were not activated. i called to 121 which is chargeable. but the customer service executive told me that there is no information because of system upgradation. after that i called at[protected] at 12-07 am. my reference no. is F[protected]. but the customer service executive asked for the adress and e mail id for the other number on which i gifted the hallo tune. when i asked for the reason he became silent.after that i called again but they again told me there is system upgradation and they have no information about anything. my complaint is that it is a paid service. 50 paisa per 3 min. i called and there is no solution. i charged Rs 15 for the halo tune gifting. but there is no halo tune, but harassment from the customer service executive.

                        I hold this number [protected], which is an AIRTEL Bangalore Prepaid number
                        Purchased this SIM in April 2013 while I was in India.

                        Currently I reside in USA and I had locked this number for a period of 1 year via the Airtel online locker service in May 2013. All my correspondence in India is via this number and I last used this number in May 2014 while being in USA

                        After 2 months, I re inserted my SIM today (July 17, 2014) and my SIM is not active. I tried reaching the customer care but they were unable to help.

                        This number is very critical for me since all my India services have been updated with this number and I am unable to proceed with any India work without this number.
                        I had already lost my earlier Airtel number in 2011/2012 since I hadn’t used for long time but this time I was very careful to keep it active by locking the number. Still it seems to be deactivated.

                        Could you help please help in reactivating my number. If I need to pay a fee to do this, I can pay it online.

                          Sir, I proposed to migrate from the present Telecom to Airtel. I had approached the Airtel office at Gandhinagar, Bangalore. I was directed to approach the counter, where a person medium height, slightly bulky was sitting. I told about requirement of migration to Airtel prepaid. The person told me "don't go for pre-paid" and go for post paid. I told about my requirement and told pre-paid only required. The counter person was adamant and finally that there is no stock of prepaid sim. The person's behaviour was that he was least cared for the customer's requirement but wants the customer to follow his words.

                            I am an existing Airtel user, A/c No [protected]. I had initially taken only a 6 month connection. After expiry of this period, company automatically extended my connection on monthly basis without my prior knowledge. In January '14, on my complaint, they agreed to settle all my previous outstanding amounting to Rs. 2896/- against payment of Rs. 1796/- (i.e. Rs. 1100 waiver since connection was extended without any prior intimation and I had not even used it for the entire period) and a new 6 monthly plan expiring on 27th July '14 for Rs. 4496. I have this commitment in writing from Airtel. The payment were made by three cheques amounting to Rs. 898 x 2 and third cheque of Rs. 4496 on 31st Jan. Now in May '14, to my utter dismay and surprise, the connection got suspended for outstanding dues of Rs. 2197 and since then I am being regularly harassed over phone calls and smses to clear this due despite my plea that my outstandings were all cleared when I made the three cheque payments on 31st Jan and even having a mail in writing from Airtel that this clears my all outstanding till date and new half yearly plan is activated to be continued till 27th July. I obviously did not make payment of Rs. 2197 as being claimed by Airtel since this is a clear violation of our agreement. My pleas and explanations to Airtel Customer care on the matter is to no avail as they are refusing to acknowledge that there was any such agreement made by the company despite their written word and even after escalating the matter to their Appellate authority, the issue remains unresolved. More so, yesterday I get a letter from Airtel claiming their outstanding amount and threatening me with legal action if I refuse to pay. This is an extremely condemnable and unscrupulous act on their part as they are refusing to listen to my side of story and keep insisting I clear this amount. I have grown tired of explaining this matter to Airtel and would be extremely grateful if your forum could take up my grievance for redress.

                                Respected Sir I am using Airtel Postpaid Coorporate Plan Rs. 125 Monthly since 1 & half year on my two mobile nos [protected] & [protected]. This company sometimes changes my bill plan without any notice. Hence from April 2014 this company changed my bill plan from monthly Rs. 125 per month to 149 per month. This bill plan is very different from my previous bill plan. So it incurred me extra losses due to change in the criteria of calculation of tariff. So I was not able to pay the bill after April 2014. But the company disabled my outgoing facility from date 14.07.2014. I requested the Customer Care to change the bill plan to previous one. They changed it but not from the April 2014, they changed it from June 2014. So it is a request to you to let my bill of the months April & May be recalculated for the months of April & May. And my outgoing services need to be resumed. So that I could pay my bill.

                                Dear Readers,

                                I would like to draw your attention that I am using a cell No. [protected] provided by Airtel since 2010 without any issues. However in the recent past there are two issues for which I have been contacting their helpline but no action has been taken till date.

                                1. Change in Bill Plan

                                I logged into my Airtel.in account online to change my Bill Plan. I tried to do it but failed and got a message to call customer care. I requested them change in my BILL PLAN on 31st Jan 2014 ut till date they are unable to do so. I have escalated the matter to their Nodal Team & Apallate team but still no luck. It is really surprising that such a big network is unable to update my bill plan for over 3 weeks now.


                                2. I have sent a separate mail to them that when I log into my account, I see another account [protected] which is a landline ([protected]) and Broadband connection in the name of my previous employer. I have requested them to delete this account from my login, but they replied that no such account exists... I send them a screenshot of the SMS & my login web page but it fell to deaf ears...

                                It is really sad that Airtel is not concerned for their old clients. The 121 executives are so stubborn and have been trained NOT TO pass the call to their TL's / supervisors... and the best part is that when you ask for a complaint reference no. they will just give you a random number. On your next call to 121, when you give that reference number, they say no complaint exists...

                                WOW, this is absolute customer harassment and they should waive off all my calling costs because of their mistake.

                                Hope this complaint is seen by someone and some action taken.

                                    Hi, This is harshit.i am using the airtel no [protected] which is ported from vodaphone 2 months back in mumbai. Airtel have barred my outgoing call for in the basis that my vodaphone bill is unpaid which as per my vodaphone records i have cleared all my due.today ie 16th july 2014 i tried calling the airtel call centre, but they added to more to my problem by repeatedily dropping the call when i asked for the call ref no.people who attended my calls were wasim.akshay and ankita..they have no clue why they have barred my call..and they just have one answer that they will get back to me in 4 hrs...its been a pathetic experience using Airtel service...they have untrained and rude people to reply to your queries.someone pls help me out as i am out of town and unable to make any call...once again i would say airtel is pathetic and full of rude and novice employee...i wish i was using vodaphone.                                       Since many months airtel is providing wrong recharge information on its website. Even after giving so many complaints.. They are not doing anything to update the information. Every time I did recharge through airtel's official website I got something else on my number than what is mentioned on their website... They are looting many customers daily just by providing wrong information on their website.. I dont understand what to do and how to stop them from doing so.

                                        Airtel has jacked up my bill all of a sudden and blaming it on my data usage. Nothing has changed from my end same phone, same apps's (data usage), i also have a 98 RS data plan and my bill used to be 400-600 every month and all of a sudden they have increased it to 1369.
