I got a msg from company on 29 July that on recharge of Rs 49 I can get 150+150MB 3g net for validity of 28days. Offer valid till 4th Aug. I recharged on 3rd. I got 150+150MB 3g net but with validity of only 7 days. I've been trying to contact customer care but they are not helping me. They put me on hold, transfer my call to senior representatives which is not answered and I am also charged for the wait time. Finally the phone automatically gets disconnected.
Airtel customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.

Nope. My issue hasnt been solved yet.
2 days back Airtel representative called me for some New recharge offer and when I told him about my previous issue (the above said) he disconnected the call midway...
I have mailed you my airtel number at the above provided email id. Still waiting to see if the issue can ever be solved..

Today i got a call and the representative lady said that 'I have finished my total net available they cant do anything or they could have helped me '. But the truth is i still had more than 200mb of data left. When i informed her, she was like 'i dnt know what detail you got on your mobile but my system says your data has been used up. For now I cant do anything. Next time if have any issue contact us.'

This is no way of helping/sorting out issues...

    I had purchased new Airtel sim card no. [protected] on 25th July 2014 from Sarkhej under scheme of 56/- balance and need to pay 20/-. I had submitted all required documents on 25th July 2014 and with in 24/48 hrs i had received verification call and card was also activated but till date after somany follow ups i had not received my balance of 56/- FRC. No dealer is telling that after 72 hours it is not possible to get FRC as it is company policy, Now is it my mistake ? Just because of miss communication gap between dealer and company why should customer suffers. Or might be i am full who is still running behind Airtel instead of choosing any other company card.

      I Chintan Shah want to lodge a complaint against Bharti airtel. Initially I had been fooled by the salesmen for taking airtel dongle during which the scheme he showed was totally diffrent from the scheme I got.So knowing the truth about the plan I opted for disconnection of my number.The responsible authority of the airtel company called me up a told me not to dissconnect and opt for prepaid conversion of the same no. I agreed and paid all the pending dues of the bill and filled the perpaid form along with postpaid to prepaid conversion form and i was given the Prepaid SIM card on the very same day and had been told the number will automatically disconnect and prepaid sim card would get activated within 7days. But they didn't converted to my prepaid and rejected my Conversion form.After 10-12 I called them up and told the problem and the concerned person on phone its under process and would get converted very soon.I also after Some day i went to airtel gallery but the gallery authority told the server was down kindly come next day.I regularly posted my complaint on the customer care but didn't got any response and use to say that their senior would call in some time. After 2months the airtel department calls me up and asks me to pat the dues of 1600 or so. How can it be so, i posted complains regularly of my problem converted to prepaid by clearing all the dues. Its an irresponsible way of Airtel company of charging their customers. Chintan Shah

        Hello Sir, My name is Roshan Jadhav, and my mob no is [protected] (airtel) I was travelling to Kashmir and Punjab in the month of may, before i called up customer care to confirm the roaming charges, they said their wont be any charges. In the month of june i have been charged with 400-500 roaming charges because of which i did not made the payment. I got an call from Miss Sheetal on 27 June 2014 from Collection agency situated in Malad from no [protected], She asked me to pay Rs 500 immediately and promises to refund rest amount. I did my payment but refund was not given and same has been charged in the next months bill with other charges. I called up today on Aug 5th, 2014 again at 12.15, and explained the scenario to her and she was very arrogant to me and disconnected my call 4-5 times without any intimation. I called up Airtel customer care on 101 wherein i had spoken with Mr Abhishek Gopale, he said we dont have authority to reverse those charges and currently no seniors are available on the floor, how airtel is not keeping backup of seniors on the floor during the day, he confirmed to arrange callback from his senior Priya. What should be done now????? do i have to discontinue with the all services of Airtel (mobile, datacard, DTH)... Please suggest. RegardsRoshan Jadhav

          Dear Sir, I have purchased a Airtel prepaid SIM card bearing mobile No.[protected] on 31/07/2014 at Manipal University Jaipur in the name of my son. All the relevant documents dully submitted. As confirmed by customre care SIM must get activated within 48~72 hours. Your salesman accepted the Id proof and issued the SIM card and he told that the SIM will be activated within 2 days. But the number is not activated till today 05/08/2014after 6 days. In the meantime I contact salesman so many times and customer care but no activation of SIM till time. My son is staying in the hostel first time far from us. we are unable to contact him and all the time worried for him. Kindly look into the matter and take necessary action against the culprit.                 I have asked to activate only 2G at 70 kbps limited 2GB/month plan for corporate employees at 98 rupees. Still there is no action to activate this to me after so many mails.thats why im posting here i do have the existing plan 300mb 3g gprsfree, after 300mb 2g 100% free at 40kbps @98 i dont want this one. i want 2g only as i mentioned above.

                  My balance which was around Rs.170 till yesterday has been deducted completely from my Airtel prepaid number [protected] today for no reason.i even had internet balance and still have so there is no point it has been deducted for internet use.please see to my problem.

                    Frustrated with continuous harassment from AIRTEL. They are asking me to pay for a service I haven't used. I asked to put my 4G connection on safe custody in January 2014 and I kept getting bills till July 2014. In July after getting frustrated, I asked them to close my account, they closed it. But they are still expecting me to make the full payment through July 2014. Not sure what to do...

                      we have been using a number from past one and half years. Even 2 days before the deactivation of connection, we have recharged with 230/-. They sent me a message to re-submit my documents.I wanted to ask WHY? Why after 1 year there is a document failure. They just gave 2 days for the re-submission. When I called customer support, they said it is deactivated because of non-usage from long period. But there is no such day, where I did not make/not receive a call. Even I have been using mobile Internet daily. As the customer care support cannot answer my queries, they are hanging up the call. I even visited the nearest outlet, but no use. I am ready to re-submit the documents but they cannot restore my account as such( with balance and other offers).

                        When anyone tries to call me the call doesnt go.. No answer is also coming and the phone is not ringing only.. The problem is with indoor the call doesnt connect only.. 3 months became the problem is still continued and till now the you'll have not solve my problem.. Now i had gone to Airtel office there they are telling me "we cant do anything you call at customer care office" till now 20 times became they are telling me the same thing n they are very incorporative they doesn't know how to corporate with the customer.. Firstly in Goa no 1 takes the Airtel service or sim and those who take you'll don't give them service properly.. And we are post paid customer... When 1st time i had given the complaint that time many calls had come... They told me that they will do but still they didn't did... I had told them to give me discount on my bill but still they dint gave... If we don't pay the bill you'll call us hundred times to make payment of bill but you'll cant are able to solve my problem... if you'll still cant solve then tell me ill changed the sim of mine... Ill deactivate all my Airtel sim and move on to another sim... I am really tired of this... If you'll don't solve my problem ill move on to another sim or else ill file a complaint against your company... My mobile number [protected]...

                          My prepaid Airtel mobile connection [protected] is not functional since 5 PM of 4.8.2014. I reside in South Kolkata. Trying to reach prepaid help service of Airtel but cannot reach them because of non-functionality! What happened to Airtel ! Request for immediate restoration of the prepaid mobile service !

                            I am Still waiting from your staff but no response again and again.
                            I am Losing Lot of customer because of your careless why means I AM 8 YEARS USING YOUR AIRTEL NUMBER AS MY BUSINESS COMMUNICATION and IMMEDIATELY BY SOME ONE MISTAKE THE NUMER BLOCKED WITHOUT REASON AND INTIMATION, FURTHER I HAVE SUBMIT DOCUMENTS --MY PHOTO AND MY ID AGAIN IN COONOOR NEW AIRTEL OFFICE to MR.DENESH JAIN On 04.08.14 By 4.00 P.M. On his hand itself .

                            And he told me that it should activated within 72 Hours. BUT IT IS NOT ACTIVATED STILL NOW .

                                Hi, My name is Sumit Kaila. I have faced many problems from Airtel since last 3 months, I have a CUG number [protected], and on 6th march a 500MB Internet plans was activated on my number, without any information that this will end after 4 months and on 6th June I receive a message that your plan has been ended but there was no initial information that this plan will end on 6th June they just disconnected the plan without any prior information, and they changed the 500MB plan to 200 MB informing nothing to me. I am mailing them from last 3 months to provide a better CUG plan requesting them my needs but they never provided a suitable plan, then 773 Rs. in the month of June and 1000Rs. in the month of July was charged extra to me saying that you have used Internet and this is a valid charge, last month I opted for MNP as I was able to get a suitable plan from other provider but my MNP was rejected without providing me any information from the other service provider I came to know that my service has been rejected so I again raised a request for portability then I receive retention call from Kusum she provided me a suitable plan, I have no idea how they came up with this plan suddenly because in all my prior requests it was said to me that they don't have any plan, but the waiver which was provided to me was of Rs. 250 (After charging 1773 rs extra they give a waiver of rs 250) I said I want to continue to porting Ms Kusum shouts on me saying thank you i hope you will come back after 90 days and she retains my number, and again my porting request is cancelled, today I receive a call from other Service provider that your request has been cancelled again, So I call Airtel customer care and they say me that my number was retained with 250 rs waiver I am shocked here with their reaction. Next I call again to customer care asking the name of the person who retained my request it is said to me by Ms. Tanya that name is not mentioned here in the request when I ask her name then she says that she will check again once and tells me that the number is not retained and it was Kusum who called you, two people talk to me one says your number is retained other one says that number is not retained well what are they self confused or they train their people how to make fool of others. Now what should I do so that my number can be easily ported Thanks Sumit

                                  I received a message from airtel (Vx-611117) which says to get 3g data on 2g data rates at rs.155 for 30 days. I recharged the same but got 2g data instead. I called customer care 3 times the same day (2nd aug14), they cut the call inbetween. They are looting people with lies and full of crap.
                                  Guys, if you found this post, do not get into such offers from airtel.

                                    Hi my name is Dilip Basu. I had requested for a Airtel Broadband connection on 25th June 2014. The executive, MR. Sudhakar contact number - [protected], got the registration done, took Rs 500 and gave a 3 days working day period to get the connection done. I had requested for 8 MBPS 60 GB plan. Till date he has not turned up for the connection to get fixed. When I call him, he gives thousand excuses for not getting his work done. Sometimes he says there is no availability though he had already checked the port availability the day he took the registration money. There are times when he doesn't answer my calls at all. Irritated, I had to call the Airtel customer care to check what is going on and when I provided them the TBLR number - 6836870 provided by Mr. Sudhakar, they said the TBLR doesn't exist !! I had no idea what to do next..After repeated calls, Mr Sudhakar finally agreed to come and fix the connection today(4th august 2014).He said he can get this done for 4MBPS and not 8 MBPS. However, as usual he didn't turn up and neither did he answer my call.

                                    This, ideally is not expected from a reputed company like Airtel. I still don't understand why would a company like Airtel cheat their customers and that too in such a cheap way ! I hope this complaint of mine gets noticed and some strict action is taken against the executive. All I want is the connection I had requested for and that doesn't seem to be a very difficult request. If it is too difficult then please let the customers know in advance and don't cheat them this way. I hope its an eye opener !

                                      Hi, my name is aniruddha agrawal. I am having a corporate card on which I am eligible for 99rs unlimited internet plan. I had activated this plan and specifically mentioned to activate 99rs unlimited internet plan. The executive had also confirmed that my number is eligible for that plan and he is activating the same. While when in the bill came I came to know that the such plan was not at all activated and my mobile internet charges was around 3200 during that month. When i contacted the customer care they said that it is a mistake from Airtel's part and the charges will be reversed within 48 Hrs. This whole conversation happened on 26th June and till date the charges are not reversed. Till then I had contacted numerous times to the customer care but it was all in vein. Every time in get the same response that our senior will call you in 2 hrs but i never received any call. This is extremely pathetic service by airtel and that too their corporate customers.                                         I myslef Deepak Kumar Lahon resident of dimapur had lost one Airtel sim card no :[protected] along with my handset on 31st January, 2014 at dimapur railway station .Further, I have told airtel to block that sim for security purpose and requested them to issue duplicate sim but they didn't issue any duplicate sim card and it was said to me that since the sim is issued in another person name so, they shouldn't be able to issue me duplicate sim card. But my question is that since I have been using these sim for last six years and also once I have been given id proof and address proof to airtel relationship center in december, 2010 then why didn't they told me that at that time when verfication was going on for all service providers .
