Dear Sir, This is the complaint regarding the worst services and Insulting behaviour of your Installation Team and installation channel partner. I really don’t expect the negligence and abusing language from the reputed brand like Airtel . I am an DTH subscriber no. [protected]. My only request was reinstallation which I made on 22/05/2014 on your customer care and my Ref. no is 37768671. Reinstallation was committed to me in next 24 Hr on 22/05/2014. After following many times on given contact no. [protected], I received only fake appointment timing’s. Your installation executive is taking appointment from me for Installation but there is no physical presence of engineers .It’s not about the installation of DTH, executive are ignoring me and using abusing language on phone. I have already taken leave twice from my office for DTH installation but nothing has happened till now … When engineers did not come for Installation till 25/02/2014..I again called on customer care they again committed installation in 24 hr and given me contact no. of your channel partner which was [protected]… I called this gentleman and discuss my problem and behavioural issue of his staff, he assured me the same day installation but again no one has come to me.. I called him back and ask for commitment, he started shouting on me. I m feeling Highly Insulted and Ignored after such behaviour. Regards Kamal Kukreja

    I am Gangamma. I submitted the request to transfer my prepaid plan to postpaid with the existing number on thursday (22 May 2014) and the documents were submitted on the same day. I received message from Airtel on the alternate number ( Husband's number) saying that prepaid sim is deactivated and post paid is activated on friday (23 May 2014). When I inserted the sim, postpaid was not activated. I have been trying to get help from Airtel customer care since then, the answer I get everytime is that it will be done in next 4 hours and it never happened. Its been four days now that I am left with no connection. Since I work for corporate I will have to take client calls from home which is getting affected badly. Please help me deal with it and get my sim activated.

      i have an airtell dish connection .my id is [protected] i booked a movie on 18 may 14 on channel 161. reply was that this mob no is not registered with us. i called the call centre north zone, and got my regd mob no. changed. i got a confirmation on the new no that new no is now registered. i booked the movie again . same reply came that no is not registered. i called up the call centre again . again operater booked the movie . but it did not come on the tv. i sent the message sms for movie several times. but it was not displayed on the tv. on each call u keep us waiting for several minutes, wasting our money in vain. for a movie of 50 rs if i have to waste 100 rs giving call to yr centres and sending several sms. i think the service is not up to the mark. on my airtell account still my old no. is flashing as regtd mob.that means if my mobile no changes your service fails. i am not happy with the services and the help centres just keep noting yr complains and wasting yr money.the help centre should be toll free.

        Sir, I am using airtel postpaid number [protected] . I have been paying all my bills well before time. On 19th april I changed my postpaid plan an before switching executive told me to clear all my dues. I paid all the due amount. Then I got bill on 27th april for the period 19th to 26th then I cleared that also. Now in May month bill they sent me exceptionally high bill of Rs 2024. In which it is written that 1192 is the one time charge which is outstanding amount for the month of April. But I have cleared my amount of April in that month itself. And I have the proof for that as receipt also. Moreover they are charging exceptionally high tax amount by adding tax for whole month instead of that outstanding amount period. Pls help me.

            I recently discovered that Airtel has been charging me Rs.50/- every month as Clip charges. It turns out that TRAI had made this a free service back in 2007. http://www.trai.gov.in/WriteReadData/userfiles/file/measuresto%20protectconsumer... http://www.ciol.com/ciol/news/103382/trai-notice-clip-mobile-operators Having raised this with Aritel Customer Support (121), after much goading, they checked and reverted saying that the service became free for post-paid customers around mid-2012 and offered me a 20 month refund (Rs.1000/-). I asked them to proceed to process the refund but then found out that the TRAI directive from 2007 and also found similar complaints from other Airtel users all over the web. http://www.consumerforums.in/clip-charges-being-charged-by-airtel-though-governm... http://www.consumercourt.in/mobile-billing-problem/[protected]@50-has-been-levie... My connection is 6 years old and since it was activated in 2008, I am eligible for a full ~72 month refund (and not just 20 months offered by Airtel). I have reported this through 121 again but am looking for a satisfactory response and resolution to this issue and only a full refund will do that. As shown, millions of subscribers must be battling this and are probably even unaware of this illegal charge so its an issue of significant monetary proportions. I intend to take this up with higher authorities if the issue is not resolved per expectations.

              I am a airtel postpaid customer no [protected]. I am having plan of 299.My unbilled transaction was showing around 1260 rs for the last month. My bill generated for the last month is 6600.20 Rs. I called customer care, they are telling that i have activated international roaming pack worth 3500rs and service tax. which i have not, After that they told by mistake they have activated this.What the hell is this. They are making customers fool.After that they have not even deactivated this pack and telling you will be charged agaibn. Pl do something i want take them to consumer court.

                hi I got a bill amount of Rs. 3742/- for the month of April/May 2014 which is really stunning. My plan is postpaid 1gb (750/-) [protected]. I did call the customer care, the only thing they answer is how much the computer shows and argued that's correct. When i spoke with another CSR he said me he can deduct 100 rs and rest of the amount I have to pay. It means I have to pay Rs. 2742 in place Rs. 842, which is not correct anyway as he was saying that from last month my free calling was stopped without intimation to me. From last 5 years I am using the same plan with free calling, where i had used almost the same didn't yield such bill. but why this month?? I am worried also about if all of a sudden my primary connection ends up in some trouble, my work will be badly effected as airtel has been cutoff just in 2/3 days after the bill was sent. I see no hope of this issue resolving at the earliest. Somebody who has come across such issue, kindly help me how you did cope up with situation like this you might have faced. Now idea have poted my no([protected] which is right now not in working) but after so many complaints at airtel i havn't got my airtel sim. i have gone to airtel store they have told me that we cant do anything complaint on customer care and when i called customer care they have told me go to airtel store. i am not able to understan what should i do as my no is not working. right now i am using [protected].

                    I was suggested by customer care agents to change my connection to a post paid services and get a beneficial plans for the usage in future, I did the same and over the years I am noticing that my bills are reaching sky high. Last week I have decided to change my network rather continuing with AIRTEL, further to which I got a call from Airtel customer care agent named, 'Ashish' for resolution of my problem, where he literally forced me to say on call that, I want to leave this network and when I said that, I'll take my decision on this later, I immediately got a second call from the same guy saying that we respect your decision and kindly say on call that you got a resolution of your problem and you decided to leave our network. Heights of hypocrisy, firstly I am termed as a valuable customer for their network, secondly they ask me to leave the network in obnoxious tone and threatening me to accept that I have got a solution to my problem. This is way to unbearable act from the service industry especially the so called network brand AIRTEL

                      Hi, I bought an Airtel 3G Dongle, on 21st January 2014. I paid advance rental of INR 2550 + INR 350 (Security deposit). For two months, I tried to use it at my residence (Block-4, ODS, Lajpat Nagar-4, New Delhi 110024). But, it never managed to give me a consistent connectivity. Everytime, it either gets disconnected, or never managed to gain a bandwidth over .5 to 1 kbps. In these two months time, I haven't even used 1 MB data, as the dongle couldn't provide me with any bandwidth. I consistently called up their customer care technical team, and lodged several complaints. But everytime, I get this sorry reason, that they are looking into it and their "Backend Service Team" will call me. I never received any calls from their, so called "Backend Service Team", but their Tech team is consistent in replying that they did spoke to me, WOW. Finally, frustrated and exhausted, I called up their customer care, and give him a verbal beating. Then the truth was disclosed to me, that they are having some wireless internet service issues at my area/locality. I asked them, when will it be rectified, and they had no clue. I finally lodged a cancellation request in the last month of March 2014, and the disconnection request was approved on 29th March 2014. I again called them up regarding the refund status, and they told me that it will be done in next 60 days, as it is their corporate policy to hold in ransom, the customers money for 60 days before releasing it. And I was being told shamelessly, that two months rental will be deducted on pro-rata basis even though Airtel was incapable of providing me with any service. Today, on 25th May 2014, I called up to enquire about the refund status again, and I got the good news, that nothing will be refunded, as advance rental is not refundable. Also, no security was visible in their system. So in a nutshell, Airtel 3G Services, simply earned INR 2900 from me, without providing any services. Kudos to Airtel. I could go to the Consumer Court with my complaint, but I don't want to waste my time or energy, as we all know how efficient the system is. My simple reason for writing this post, is to bring to light the atrocity of corporates like Airtel. If they have the guts to treat customers from the nations capital like this, I can only guess the agony of customers from Tier-II and Tier-III cities. I simply warn my fellow customers, to be very sure about the service availability of Airtel in your specific locality before going ahead with any Airtel related purchases. Entry into Airtel Services is very easy, but they will suck you dry, once you try to leave their ecosystem. Arunav Talukdar...

                        I would like to intimate that my Internet Service connection was not working from 23rd April, 2014 to 15 May, 2014 due to PWD work in the locality.The Modem blinked every time and when stable too it did not worked on the computer.As I had complained several times, the servicemen told me that in between the time the Internet was not working, they would cut the amount in the bill payment by sending this complaint.                           My prepaid mobile number is [protected] in Dhanbad city. I had scheme of Re1/3mins for STD calls which costs Rs 29. On 19th May 2014, my scheme was over so I recharge on 20th May 2014 at 7:19 PM and TransID is [protected]. And on 23rd May 2014, I got the message from the company that my scheme was about to get over in 2 days. Since then I am trying to call the customer care but they are not taking calls. So, I want to total refund of my balance in last 5 days and compensation for mental stress that company has caused me.

I own a postpaid connection [protected] connection, for which I made gateway payment through my HDFC bank in[protected]: Here are my grievances towards the process I made a payment through my HDFC account of amount 1920/ I got the confirmation of amount deduction from my bank account and I do have proof of deduction also but it gets update from airtel service that your payment has been decline by the bank although i already made the payment. This is really annoying me. These are the payment detail POS [protected] BHARTI CELLULAR POS DEBIT on 24/05/2014 reference number: 364473 amount paid by me-1940 please look into the matter so that private companies like airtel will not cheat the consumer to any other consumer

                            My prepaid mobile no.[protected] was activated for international roaming on 22 april 2016 by paying Rs.2000/- as I was planning tour abroad for a period of six month.When I reached Dubai I Was able to contact some one in USA..Now I am in SAN RAMON, in California, USA. I am getting only incoming call and no outgoing call from my mobile.Can you please advice me the further action from my side in order to get the out going call activated.

                              Hi... I'm using airtel number for almost 4 years now. Although I always had signal issues with Airtel but it was manageable untill past few months. I stay in dwarka and my signal goes blank every now and then. I cannot keep talking on phone for more than 30-40 seconds. The call drops sometimes even before that. I called up airtel customer care but I think they just fool you by saying that they have registered a complaint. Next day they sent me a msg saying that "network services on your airtel number has been boosted. Pls switch off and on your mobile now". I did exactly the same but there was not change in the network. My calls kept on dropping every few seconds. I have lost so much money because of this call drop problem. I am really fed up of airtel and its customer care team. Next time I called they didn't respond well. Airtel is answerable for providing such a poor service and actually eating so much money by these call drops.

                                Hello My number is [protected] . I am currently in Kolkata and I am being told 3G network is not supported in Kolkata . The sim I am using is from Karnataka . I have been roaming 2 Vodafone store and no one could tell me why my device was not working in Calcutta till one person on the Dongle service desk[protected] said there is 3G in Calcutta but it doesnt support Airtel roaming . If that is the case why were some of the technician from the same helpdesk told me there is no 3G in Kolkata . And why Kolkata Airtel team never had a clue that Karnataka Sim is not supported in Kolkata . This is heights of irresponsibility from Airtel. And The most important point, help me understand the reason why a Dongle which is meant for using while travelling be suported in one part of the country and barred in a different part . I am waiting for a reply and expecting my dongle connects in Kolkata 3G network soon .

                                    I recevived a msg from Airtel about caller tune song selection renewal for 15 rs a 90 days and said 'to deactivate send STOP to 155233', which deactivated my Caller tune service entirely instead of just song. I had bought a Rs 200 for 365 days pack in just last month and now they're refusing to reactivate my service back and are asking for fresh rentals for activation. While explaining this to a customer care executive, they hung up the call without giving satisfactory solution. And after some time I received a message that my internet service has been deactivated, I never made such a request but the Airtel executive has done that out of revenge and malice. When called to enquire the exec. are claiming that I made such a request on the same day which I dint and that again I need to pay fresh rentals for the same ie 155/- Rs to reactivate the service that I never asked to disable on my own. I have the call records with me to defend my case and have sent to Airtel greviance cell for a probe. Hope they bother to solve this.
