Mr Balakrishnan/Mr Trivedi, Let me start off by saying that I have made the BIGGEST MISTAKE OF MY LIFE!!! Opting for an Airtel connection. My internet stopped working at night 2 days back. I assumed it was a one off issue and did not bother to call considering it was 0100 hrs at night and obviously I did not want to spend my night haggling with your reps. Yesterday evening, I come home from work and GUESS WHAT, my net is still not working. I spoke with a rep who hung up on me, dialed again and spoke with someone who told me that “my line is problem”. He cannot troubleshoot online, has filed a complaint and someone would look into it in 24 hrs. Just like a parrot I heard him say the same thing over n over again. Today, I again come back from work and (surprise surprise!!!) my net is still not working. I again call and speak with someone, who does not want to listen to me at all, was extremely rude and to put it in the most polite way possible, did not give a about my problem. He again asks me for 24 hrs at which point I want to speak to a supervisor. Apparently, his supervisors are talking to other customers. I had to scream at him a bit and then got my way. I then get connected to a supervisor by the name of Prem Kumar who again told me the same thing. I have not had this connection for even 30 days and have been continuing with it in spite of getting a speed of less than 1MBPS even though I am on an 8 MBPS plan. But this is the limit!!! I am super frustrated with the treatment I am getting and believe me I will advocate against getting an Airtel connection every chance I get.

    I was a customer of Airtel postpaid services (Mangalore circle, with phone no [protected]). As i had moved out of mangalore and settled elsewhere, I had stopped using your services from June - 2012. I had also contacted your customer care requesting them to suspend my services henceforth and also i will pay the outstanding amount payable on it. But, recently i got a notice to pay the outstanding amout of Rs 2537.20. My relationship number is [protected]. Please tell me a way to settle this dispute even if it means paying some amount.

    Hi All,

    I have converted from postpaid to prepaid on 18nov2013. I need to get refund of Rs.2550/- . They informed me that i will get a cheque in 45 working days. more than 3 months passed away...am unable to get back my money...if i pay my bill 1-2 days in delay you may charge fine of 100Rs extra. But you haven't refunded my amount till now...will you pay fine now...Please justify my question...

      Hi, I brought a 4G sim (No: [protected]) with 2GB for Rs.450/- monthly rental plan. Before selling the sim, the airtel executive informed me that after 2GB usage, the speed will decrease to 3G speed and completely free. Now, I got a call from Airtel, who explained me the Rs. 450/- plan. He suprised me saying that after 2GB consumption, I will be charged for the extra data usage upto a maximum of Rs.1000/- with 5p/100KB and for further usage, there is no rent but the speed will decrease to 2G speed which is contrary to the information provided by the executive who sold me the sim. I asked the person to show me where it is mentioned in airtel site. He has no idea about that and he himself do not know which documents contain all these information. He said he forwarded the call to supervisor and he will be calling me in 30mins which never happened. Next I called on [protected]. Here I received another information that after 2GB usage, I will be charged 5p/100KB till extra 1GB and 2G speed for further usage. This person do not have idea about the difference between 128Kbps and 128KBps. He himself agreed that the person who sold me the sim might not be having enough information on this. Now, I only want the promised 3G speed by the executive who sold me the sim. Regards, Rajendra

        I received a sms from airtel that "transfer an amount of rs 1000 or more and get free std calls @ 0.30/minute on your mobile" on my mobile no. [protected]
        And this also mentioned on www.airtelmoney.in
        I transferred the money from my mobile 3 or for time from last two month's but
        the benefits did not get till yet. I have used my calls more than rs. 330 @
        1.5/minutes, it was more than 220 calls.
        As per revers calculation the amount of my 220 calls should be rs. 66 (as per
        std tariff @ 0.30/ minutes) but airtel charged rs.330


        I request to you please check thoroughly of my all transactions of my airtel
        money account and airtel mobile account and refund my rs 264 and activate these
        benefits for future as I again transfered rs 4000 from my airtel money account
        which I was supposed to get

          AIRTEL BROADBAND sunrise enterprises (begumpet) Took an advance of rupees 2599 for installing airtel high speed internet in our house about a week ago. since then I have made around 50-60 calls out of which 40-50 calls were unanswered and when they answer, they say we will install in an hour/ this evening/ tomorrow/ in 24 hours and so on... so far they have not installed the connection. I want them to refund my money since the customer care is terrible and I don't want any further dealings from them. Their numbers- [protected], [protected]

              I recharged my airtel prepaid phone ([protected]) online on 01/02/2014 on airtel's online recharge site (www.airtel.in). I did a full talktime recharge of Rs. 300/- and made the payment with my Visa ICICI debitcard. But once I made the payment, THE RECHARGE WASN'T DONE ON MY PHONE NO as well as THE TRANSACTION WAS MADE FROM MY ACCOUNT. Transaction ID given was[protected]. No action taken till now.                   I converted my number [protected] into postpaid. According to Myplan services provided by Airtel I chose to activate 999 plan on my number but they actually activated 299 plan. Notwithstanding the grievance, I thought of converting back to prepaid but the customer care replied that I cannot do it before 90 days from activation.In view of this I wish to bring to notice the perfidy of the agent who offered me the postpaid plan: When asked about converting back to prepaid if I don't like the present plan, he replied that I can convert back to prepaid at any time which made my consideration to take up postapid but now they say that it is not the case. In view of this I feel that Airtel can take any arbitrary decision to charge me more when the billing is entirely in their discretion and later convince me on their charging pattern, policies etc which reflects the companies exploitation of the trust of customers and their ignorance.

                  Is this reply a copy and paste work done for every complaint. The same reply was provided even for another customer, which I found on checking other complaints (Bharti Airtel - Defamation of Customer). Please try to resolve the complaints in a sincere way rather than usual frivolous way of replying to protect the brand value of your organisation.I would appreciate if an appropriate action is taken and the issue is properly resolved.

                  The resolution provided was not at all satisfying. The Postpaid was converted while sitting in the home, but requires to go around Airtel relationship centres to convert that back into prepaid. It reflects Airtel's values and morals in treating its customers on a basis which serves their priority(financial gain).

                  I am aggrieved with the way Airtel treats its customers. They are purely a profit oriented and are apathy towards its customer grievances. I have recently converted my number into postpaid specifying for a particular plan activation, but later I found that a different plan was activated which fell much shorter than my usage: this on my ignorance could have charged me a heavy price and Airtel simply wouldn't have bothered about that, defending that calls were already made.
                  Also, after knowing about this I thought of converting back to prepaid for which I called 121 and they never responded for my requirement. They now ask me to go around searching for a relationship centre and get it done. So people just a caveat: Please do not convert into postpaid even though the agent tries to pursue you relentlessly. In case you have converted please check what plan is activated.AIrtel is never going to respond properly if you are already into the problem.

                    This is completely irritating. Even after furnishing all the required documents to the company, my number has not been converted from prepaid to postpaid. I've been getting calls from the customer care just to confirm whether my number has been activated or not. I don't understand how the system works in Airtel such that the calling team can't check the status of any number whether it is active or not. On a daily basis, I'm getting these calls which is making it even worse instead of funding a solution to the problem Really dissatisfied with the way my query has been dealt with.

                    now they got what they invest (i think so) they turn back on us and show their real face...

                    once we call then digit number they pick the phone now we have to select one of ten different button to hang in line and the respond like ...
                    i ve changed my number coz they keep on calling from unknown number...

                      My mobile no is [protected]. I have recharged my phone online with 198 rupees for 30 days validity, but company gives me only 28 days validity. When i asked to customer care service than they told that company has reduced all tariff validity to 28 days. I have recharged online . In official website of airtel they shows the full 30 days validity for the same scheme but company didn't provide me the full validity. I have already registered a complaint to your company .

                        I am using Airtel mobile since many years, my number is [protected], I am not able to talk with the customer care executive, I have tried 121, 198, [protected] [protected], I am not able to get the option to select to talk to our executive, I know from my friends that sometimes Airtel does this purposefully, they are misusing the facility of blocking irritating customer to block genuine customers also, where can we approach to lodge our complaints?? How can i complaint about this to TRAI?? This is not the first time for me. Previously also after posting on Internet I got my problem solved. Expecting a solution for this,

                              This is regarding false committment by Airtel Staff & poor Customer service Delivery agsinst new Airtel BB connection.
                              I had applied for a new BB Connection.On 27/01/2014, an executive name Mr.Abhinav Kalsiya from Airtel visited my place, gave me full details about the plans & products.On 28/01/2014, I called him at his Mob.No. [protected], handed over all the formalities along with the SD of Rs.250/- for the same.I was given a Rcpt.no. 2723, dted-28/01/2014.I was informed that the technical team shall be coming on 30/01/2014 for cable set up & installation.
                              I called Mr.Abhinav Kalsiya on 30/01/2014, at noon hours, I was told that he shall be updating me about the visit within an hour.When no revert from his end, I called him again, I was told that the installation shall be done the next day, afternoon, as the technical team are busy in some other cable malfunctioning issues.
                              On 31/01/2014, I called him, he did not responded to my calls.Finally I called at the LL no.mentioned at his Visiting Card.Was mentioned, Anshika Communication & the LL No.[protected].A kind lady responded & bluntly told me that my connection cannot be processed as there is no connectivity & neither the technical team will accord for the same.Surprisingly, this is not correct.As two of my neighbours are having Airtel BB & it was by their word of mouth that I came to know about the satisfactory result of the connectivity.One of them share a common boundary with us.The other residing opposite.
                              When I shared these details to the CC lady, I was told to enquire to these people about the weak service quality, as she is sure that the quality may not be at all satisfactory.
                              I am surprised about the quality of work force, Airtel has employed.One who took away all the details & cash, but not responding after then, the other one who is giving such negative feedback about their product, even when the customer is sharing valuable feedback.
                              Eventually my father called Mr.Abhinav Kalsiya from his no.& the same feedback was shared to us.
                              If there isnt any connectivity, how my neihgbours are experiencing satisfacory results.And if it is so, why Mr.Abhinav did not shared this before login.Now it is told to me that I may be refunded back my cash thru chq.
                              This seems unjust & unfair, as I was given false information.Sales team are bothered about their numbers, as it was month closing.Once the login is thru, let the customer keep on raising his voice & suffer.This needs to be addressed immediately.
                              I want an appropriate resolution to be provided to me within 48 hrs, else I do not mind putting extra effort & few more bucks to approach the consumer forum & proceed legally, as well.
                              This is an absurd, negligient & indisciplined act of the employess of Airtel.
                              Need an immediate action & resolution for the same.

                                  Hi Its Ashutosh, new victim of Airtel and its fraud customer services. Its my 6th experience with Airtel customer care team. And this time it is for Airtel 4G connection. I am having Airtel 4G device since last few months. Connection was running fine and smooth for some time and one day Internet connection stopped working. I called customer care on 25th Jan 2014 and asked for resolution. After 7th attempt of resetting my device. Finally they said we will escalate issue to high level. After two days they said, its device problem and person will contact you for the same. It’s been 10 days since then and nobody ever contacted me regarding this. They closed my support request 3 times saying, "they tried calling me. I could not pick up. So closing ticket." I have called them 37 different times but still no result. This is company being run by goons and liars, who have absolute no command over their services.                                     On Saturday (1 feb 14) I requested to take airtel Broadband Internet connection and called airtel outlet, one of the representative came to my home and collected the document along with my photograph, Check of RS 500 and 100 rs he asked as a connection charge. He commit that, I will be getting the Internet connection by that itself till 6 pm but after that nobody called me and still I have not got my Internet connection . I called him hundred of times but he is not picking my phone as well.I complaint to the customer care as well(Complain[protected] but still no action has been taken from Airtel.
                                    I need Internet connection very urgently my work is getting affected by the delay. I am considering it as a fraud because the representative is not picking my call and not responding.
                                    Please take proper action to avoid misuse of the docs which I handed over to the guy.

                                      Hi, Since last 3 years I'm using Airtel with proper service, but I don't think the same service is providing now. I requested to shift my connection on 28th Jan 2014, from Velachery, Chennai to Pallikaranai, Chennai. When I contact customer care they said he having problem with the piller and its going to be fixed within 3days but its not fixed, for such kind of issue we already informed to them 1month before for the feasibility check, after their confirmation we shifted our office to the new location, even they placed a connection box in our apartment after our permission, but finally he saying we don't have a feasibility to provide the new connection. What is the solution for this?.

                                        Dear Sir, Earlier I used to get payment receipt from you through e-mail but the same is not getting since few months, for which I am troubling a lot to get reimbursement against submission of your receipt.
