Today (On 8th March 2014), I recharged my Airtel Prepaid Mobile number [protected], for an amount of Rs. 1000 /- . According to their website (https://pay.airtel.com/online-payments/prepaidResponse.do), this topup should have recharged my mobile with a Full Talktime of Rs. 1000 /-. However, only an amount of Rs. 887 /- was credited to the above-mentioned number. This clearly violates the Talktime Topup information that is being displayed on the website.


Request the Airtel Prepaid Customer Care team to get back to me on this and help me get back Rs. 113 /- credited to my mobile balance ASAP, without further delay, so as to not constrain me to escalate the matter to higher authorities.

    Respected Sir/Ma'am I am Airtel Postpaid customer since last 1 & half year As per my tariff plan rental 249 per month i have free local 1000 min, 200 local & national sms & 200 MB Internet but since last 2 month ago company reduce my benefits without any intimation after i call to customer service executive said company send you confirmation sms but i had not received yet any sms from Airtel .

      Hi TeamI have Airtel Digital TV Connection from last 3 years with ID [protected]. I am based out of Karnal, Haryana I have been facing constant problems every month on this and constant in touch with Airtel Customer Support executive Mr. Deepak (+91-[protected]). We have got so many things done including Dish direction/place change, tightening, cable/connectors issue, Set top box change etc. etc and still my connection is down from almost a weeks time. Customer support executive make false promises to come everyday but never shows up. I have lost so much money and time in customer care follow ups and calling them. I don't expect this kind of 3rd class from a reputed business house like Bharti Airtel, now i damn regret my decision to busy Airtel DTH everyday, i can say local DTH service provider in Karnal (Haryana) is much better in service and support then Airtel DTH.I have given all hopes on Airtel DTH and their bad (or i should say worst) service. I have already started talking to other DTH service provider and i should get this done may be within a week's time. But after all i am not going to leave this bad experience let go like this, i need answers from Airtel DTH customer service guys (if you have started hearing and caring for your customers). I have seen other compliants also from the same number but there has nothing been done from your side to resolve this. the earlier complaint was registered on january 24th and today is 8th march. A company like airtel has not been able to do anything about this number. I have changed my service from airtel to vodafone but i believe that airtel still own this number. Sumant Dubey

        » This luring may also be done through SMS messages offering prize money and seeking personal details on a specified email ID. Please do not respond to these.

            I had requested to block my lost Airtel no. [protected] on consumercomplaints.in on 2nd March. Now I had got a duplicate no. but outgoing calls are still blocked on this no. So, I again requested on the same site to unblock my no. Then i got a call from [protected] and he told me that to unblock my no. I have to give him my Credit Card details.When i denied to give details, he threatened me that he will block my no. permanently. I also called 121 but they are saying that my no. is not blocked but still when i call it says TEMPORARILY OUTGOING CALLS ARE BLOCKED TO THIS NO.

            Now Its my humble request that kindly look into this matter and help me out asap. The details are:

              I have disconnected my broadband account with airtel on September 21st 2013.


              Airtel failed to disconnect the landline and generated bill for oct and nov 2013.


              The customer care said they will disconnect only if i paid the bill and refund the amount.


              I have paid the amount and requested for disconnection in nov 2013.


              Now agian i recieved an email mentioning i have to pay the due amount from dec 2013 to feb 2014.


              Airtel has not disconnected the connection and did not refund my money.


              I have complained regarding the smae in airtel website but havenot recieved any response.


              Please return my money back

                Hi, As the subject of this complaint suggests I am a victim of Airtel's unfair data usage calculation and excessive charging for the 3G data usage and through this forum I would like to throw light on how the telecom major uses petty and cheap tricks to drain the last penny out of its subscriber's pockets. So what Airtel does is that it charges you for using 3G from your account balance even if you have 3G balance left in your data pack. And the worst part is that it is not a one time deduction this has been going on for a very long time now and they have been fooling their subscribers for quite some time. These deductions have happened with me on a regular basis and after getting totally frustrated by this I have decided to write this complaint as complaining to them on their stupid IVR is of no use as they keep your call on a perpetual hold. I have been an Airtel subscriber for ages now but I think the buck stops here. I don't think I need to stress on the importance of keeping the subscriber happy, as it is we are paying a bomb for the outdated 3G data packs when everyone else has moved on to better and faster technologies of data transmission and after all that to get cheated is the last thing a consumer wants. What I want from Airtel is to look into this matter and resolve it as soon as possible as these practices are hurting their credibility. I got robbed of 56 rupees due to their unfair policies in the last such instance, I know it's not a big amount but it is about ethics in the end.                 I agree to this. Even this happened for me, As people doesn't concentrate much on how many bytes they use, telecom operators like Airtel simply reduce the 3G balance just like that unfairly, forcing people to recharge internet pack again.

                  I am an existing Airtel subscriber on my cell phone. I wanted an Airtel 3G data plan for my iPad. I went to Moti Nagar, New Delhi Airtel office to get 3G connection. The person with a turban (Raman) gave a duplicate nano SIM for my cell number and said that this will make my iPad connection work. But what he did was create 2 SIMs with the same number. So when iPad SIM was activated my phone stopped working. I was charged Rs 25 for this duplicate SIM and on top of that Rs 99 for 300MB data plan. Customer care told us that 2 SIMs cant work on same number so we need to get a different number for iPad. Today we went back to the airtel office and asked to correct this. In order to re-activate our phone (solution was to give us a new phone SIM) we were charged Rs 25 again and now the Rs 99 plan is useless on this number because I already had data plan on my phone SIM. All it does is add the 300MB data on my phone connection (which I didnt want). Also, they say that Airtel doesnt have nano SIM for a new prepaid connection, so I ended up not having a data plan for my iPad. Now we have spent Rs 149 to get nothing. This is the Airtel representative fault for misguiding us and today because it was a different representative sitting they didnt refund us anything.

                  Our issue wasnt resolved appropriately. We ended up not taking a data plan on iPad and not using the Rs 99 plan on the phone. I have responded at [protected]@in.airtel.com with our contact info.

                    I performed an Online Recharge from my SBI bank account through paytm site, but by mistake I did a recharge on a wrong number. Instead of doing a recharge on [protected], I did a recharge for number [protected]. The details are as follows... Paytm order no:[protected] Date of recharge : 4 Mar'14 10:48 pm Recharge of Airtel Mobile [protected] Amount paid: ₹ 197 Success SBI Bank Transaction Id: [protected] I made a call to the Airtel customer care on the same day but they said they cannot do anything about the problem and that the money cannot be refunded to the account.                       my name is janardhana reddy i am from andhra pradesh, . nandyal(518501).i given a Complaint on GSNP distibuters nandyal. they are charging 150rs to give new empty sim with same my exist number (instant of 25rs) and 50rs for sim portability conection(instant of 19rs). let me know what type of action.                         Me recently ported to Airtel with company CUG plan. I just called customer care on date 2nd March at 3 AM and verified mine address proof they said it gets activated within 15mins but still not able to call or receive any call till now. I repeatedly called customer care and their default response is wait for 4hours but later its still not done from their side. Finally i got frustrated and spoked with floor specific manager and he said that it will be done within 4hours on 4th march at 12 PM and he said he gonna raise a ticket and send to some technical department but still its not done.
                        I hope airtel is not such eco-friendly with customers they just skipping by giving some random answers.

                        Today i called to customer care he said its not even ported in to airtel when i called once again he said he will raise a complaint and given me complaint reference no: 55336260 but they said it get solved within 9th of this month means until then mine number is not active and i cant even recieve any important call
                        as per mine complaint regarding ticket no: 55336260 mine issue should be solved within Sunday but still its in pending. When i tried to call mine no:[protected] the automated response is "The Airtel no which you calling is not in service OR the dialled no is not valid" now what i wanna take further steps.
                        one more today mine airtel postpaid bill to got generated. Hoe else bill can generate when there is no activation in connection!!!

                        this is 14th day since mine verification done and you guys skipping mine activation by saying some random answers. This is too bad about your service i really got frustrated regarding your service i waited a long time. How else can i do bank transactions now due to this issue if you cant solve then just give back mine Tata Docomo network back so at least that network helps me alot regarding mine bank transactions. Now too don't say some random answers for mine issue. This is too much bad about your service. For activating one number you guys playing with me.

                          I buy a new airtel connection near lagateu cake shop in nallasopara(East)i dont know his name but i have his cell number [protected].I have sumitted my document but its not working for 2 weeks.Airtel sim number is [protected] & ime no:[protected].Airtel is a fraud company in mobile company.

                            Facing issue with my airtel 2g internet pack.Recently recharged my mobile for 126 rs to activate airtel 2g pack for 28 days, plan got activated in a second but the think is not getting more than 8 kbps data transfer required to wait for minimum 2 mins to view google page itself. Since from my childhood I am using the same number([protected])..Now a days the response from the Airtel CC is too worst instead of providing a solution they are simply disconnecting the call. Planning to change my network according to the response which I am going to get from AIRTEL.

                              i purchase today 2G recharge of 149/- for 30 days from airtel online mobile recharge site. There info is given as 2G recharge unlimited benefit.but they provide me recharge of 145/- and benefit is given to me is 750 MB for 28 days.When i complain through customer care but they are telling me that there is processed recharge of 145/-.After recharge i received a message from Airtel of 149 and balance deducted from my SBBJ net banking is also 149.No one is listening me.please solve this problem. i have also screen shots of the website n also the link of the Site.

Please find the attached acknowledgment for your reference, but when I call the call center of Aritel they says they do not have any information about my booking.                                     Dear Sir, We are undergoing immense trouble from Mar 1st due to irresponsible behavior of Airtel's technical support folks. We have 5 mobile phones which operate with airtel sims and are used in different types of handsets (nokia, samsung, apple iphone). Though we see the strength of the signal to be very strong in all mobile phones, we are unable to receive any incoming calls to mobiles which use airtel sims from last two days. Even we are unable to receive any text messages to our mobiles. Most importantly, I wish to bring to your attention that this is happening only when our mobile phones are in my residential area.If we move out of our residential area more than 1km, we do not see any of the above mentioned problems. We have been calling customer support and recorded our complaint(Complaint numbers: PR[protected], PR[protected], PR55279850 Escalation department complaint number:[protected] almost five times in past few days but all our efforts have gone waste. We still are unable to receive any incoming calls to our airtel mobiles and have suffered a lot in terms of missing important business calls, matrimony proposals in connection with my children. Further we are unable to book any flight tickets and do any bank transactions and other miscellaneous transactions which require the use of sms security passwords. I hope necessary steps would be taken to resolve this issue immediately.                                       Hi, I was carrying an Airtel mobile phone number ([protected]) for a long time. Couple of years ago, I asked Airtel to close my mobile account as I was not in the need of that number. As obvious, they didn't want me to quit their services and offered me advance rental plan of Rs 500 for 2 years. The phone bill would come only as per my usage. I paid the amount for next 2 years. I hardly used to use that phone and I lost it some time back. My mistake was that I missed to inform Airtel however it is supposed to be Advance Rental. They have to charge me in advance before they activate my services for next tenure. To my surprise, I received a bill of around Rs 600 in my e-mail. When I replied back asking them to close my account as I am not using my number, Airtel said that I need to pay this bill irrespective o[censored]sage of this number. How can you charge me "Advance Rental" if I am telling you that I won't be using your services in future. Airtel is charging this amount to me for future usage of this phone and now threatening me to take legal actions (that I know they can't) if I don't pay this amount.                                         I recharged my phone for 3g plan Rs152 and got only 350mb data instead of 500mb as shown on website. Also got a confirmation sms of said 500mb 3g data. On calling customer care 5 times, they said company changed their plans and site was not updated. Also there was no solution provided to me other than i was told to live with it for a month.
                                        Airtel is so busy scamming people that they don't have time to update their website.
                                        If changes are made, the rates on the website should be changed accordingly and not expect the customers to know when any changes are made.
                                        On asking for a solution i was told that there will be no compensation.
                                        On calling customer care, the ivr should say the not so good 3g provider in mumbai.
