Hi,
My phone number is [protected]. I have recharged with 3g , 2gb plan.
I still have1400.0 data available. 3g speed is vely slow (72 kbps). Its really frustrating. Please read carefully its complex.
After 1 day of recharge I received following message.
" You have consumed 100% of the built in 3G speed for your airtel mobile .Speed is now revised.For continued 3G speed SMS 3G to 121 and select a 3G pack "for your airtel number [protected]for your airtel number[protected] " even though I have full balance of 2gb still.

I am not able to utilize my 3g balance. I tried to contact customer care but its really pathetic they don't even tried to understand the problem.

hi, I have 512kb mtnl connection and after a month of good connection, it became very slow these days. I am getting 150 kb max. Its about a week I have been complaining, and sending mails everyday but no result. wondering what is it that stopping them from solving my problem. I thought I should
support a public sector over the privet one but never thought they could be that lazy and so careless about their consumers. why? If things doesn't changes soon, i will go for a legal thing for sure. are we, indians, going to rais this way? boooo.
Dear Sir/Madam,

I have taken broadband connection from AIRTEL for 10 GB unlimited for 999 rs, excluding taxes on 20th August. After 1 week they informed me that I have already used 4GB, and then 2 days later they again told me that I used 6.02GB when I had not even downloaded anything. Since then, I was unable to browse any web page and the connection was so slow that it was impossible for me to even open facebook. On 29th August (just 9days following my activation), I received a message that I have to pay a bill of Rs 1536. I am a foreign student and badly need the internet facility to communicate with my family. After paying so much, it is very unfair when they cheat us here. I hope my complaint will be duly considered and that my problem gets solved soon.

    [3] The Red light in the set top box will blink in full.
    [4] When you raise the complaint with Airtel Digital TV Customer Care
    They will say service charges Rs.125 [Wicked staff]
    [5] When the service staff reach your house and check, He will secretly say to
    his co - employee to switch on the signal.
    [6] He will collect Rs.125 as service charge.
    [7] There is a airtel staff gang operates and loots public like this.

    Beware of Airtel Digital TV staffs, Do not encourage Airtel DTH.

        I am writing this with high level of frustration and disappointment caused while applied for Airtel Wired Broadband connection. I would say it is probably the worst service that any ISP can provide to a consumer. Lot of communication gap and false promises from their end really tested my patience.

        I applied for Airtel broadband connection through Mr. Ramesh on 25th Jan 2013 and submitted copy of ID proof, address proof and photo. I also paid Rs.1,100/-(Plan charge 1050+Notary sign charge 50) through Cheque. He said someone from the technical team will be contacting me within 3 to 4 working days. Waited till 04th Feb 2013 and there is no response from ISP's end. I call the customer care and registered the complaint with Ref no. 28251790. On 08th Feb 2013, I got a call from Airtel representative saying that broadband connection is not feasible and the amount paid will returned back through cheque within 21 working days. However, Airtel applied for cheque clearance on 09th Feb 2013 which was one day after informing me about technical problem with connection (don’t understand why????). I got pissed off and called them again on 11 Feb 2013. Other call centre representative's answer was that currently connection not possible but will provide me update in next one week (by 18 Feb 2013) . In between I tried to call the sales representative (Mr. Vassu and Mr. Ramesh) but no breakthrough.

        Kindly do the needful and look into the matter.

        Airtel — No response regarding Broadband Connection

        Dear Sir/Madam,

        This is to inform that i applied for new Airtel Broadband Connection by Mr.Harish Talwar(Senior Officer,107,First Floor,Ansal Classique Tower,Rajouri Garden,New Delhi) in my name R.Venkatesan for address of C5A/60,Janakpuri,New Delhi with amount paid of Rs.500/-. He received all my related documents excluding Address proof. After some days Mr.Vikas Shankar called me and said that "Your Address proof is missing". Since i relocated from Chennai to New Delhi for my job i dont have Address proof at present. Then Vikas said "Give me letter headed paper attested by Professor mentioning the current residing address". On the same day i submitted scanned copy of my contract document and letter headed from my professor mentioned about my current address. I also submitted copy of Owner letter for current address, ID proof of me, ID proof of owner, contract document of my job and letter headed paper from Professor. I submitted 5 proofs. Next day i called to Mr.Vikas Shankar about my connection he said that "Your old connection will not be processed contact Mr.Harish". I tried to Mr.Harish regarding this and he is not picking up the call. What i do at this situation? Airtel has very good branding globally but having such Sales representatives would give lot of dissatisfaction towards customer. I request either you to process my connection or return all my documents with the amount of Rs.500/-. I hope you will take necessary action for this.         I have applied for Airtel Broadband connection on 17th of September 2011 by paid 1000rs and the application# 279553. Its been more than 25 days, still didnt get the connection. During these days, I have opened multiple complaints with customer care but they always say "our back end team will call you in 24 - 48 hours" and not even single call I get from Airtel. I have been escalated this issue to Customer care manager but no use. Below are the complaint# which I have been opened regarding this issue.

        i had taken the broadband connection on march 2011 . During the time of connection , agent told me that all problems related to modem and interenet will be solved by the airtel company upto 1 year i[censored] take the modem from the company . then i had taken the connection on that policy.

        now after 8 months , my modem is not working and i have complained to the cutomer care but they are now saying that the policy of company is changed, according to new policy i have to go to the airtel's local vendor and he is charging me.but i will not pay for the repairing of modem because my modem is in 1 year's warrenty.

        At the time of connection they have given me a modem whose input is 12 volts and adapter whose output is 9 volts because of that my modem is not working.

        so, please solve my problem as soon as possible.

        AirTel — complaint regarding Airtel team

        i got transfered talktime from another airtel number but i dint get it credited to my number but it is debited from that airtel number and another thing is i am not able to reach customer care and i lost 15rupees because of sending message without knowing. i am not able to see the information regarding messages sent and left..... if i dial *124*1# its coming error.... if i cal customer care they told that they wil transfer the cal to supervisor technical assistants but after that the cal got disconnected and if i cal again the cal is not connecting.... i have given complaint so many times... but not even a single time i got responded. so plese try to over come this problem. Hope Consumer Court wil help me.

            @Digital tv,

            I had purchased HD+ online from airtel website (transaction ref no :[protected].

            Customer id : [protected] (Transid 545220) .

            the digital was installed on saturday 9th feb 2013, 12:30 PM. But it is not activated yet. Error code 6 is displayed.
            I tried to call customer care but no one bothered to get this solved . I was told that it will be activated in 45mins but it has more than 24hours yet it is not activated.

            Either cancel digital tv connection and refund the 2290/- INR. or activate the connection with immediate effect.

            I am very annoyed with the answers i was getting from customer care because customer care and sales team both were playing Ball game without bothering customer sentiments ,

                  My airtel landline number is[protected]. I am using 4Mbps plan of Airtel Broadband. My billing cycle starts from the 27th of every month. I get 80 GB at 4Mbps and after this limit I get 256Kbps speed. On 24th Jan , I checked my remaining usage and it was around 11GB and on 25th at 4:00 PM speed was decreased to 256Kbps automatically. Airtel.in portal was not displaying the remaining GB and I thought I had consumed all of my free GB(80 GB) and I clicked on Smart bytes option of 20GB more. That costed me Rs 799. I restarted my router and the speed was still the same (256kbps). Then I refreshed my online account. Now it showed 36GB so I called Airtel customer care immediately and informed them about what happened. Initially they said that they can not issue refund for Value added Services. After few minutes they transferred my call to their supervisor . Supervisor repeated the same story that they can not issue refund for smart bytes. I keep insisting that it was a mistake. I explained her many times why did I purchase the additional GB. I told her that I cant use 36GB in 36 hours. and I dont want additional GB. Then that lady transferred my call to Tier 3 . Anuj was the name of the person and he told me that he cant do anything since the bill has not been generated yet , so he gave me a reference number which is [protected] . According to him , I had to call to Customer care executive once the bill gets generated. I was out of town and returned on 9th of Feb. I did call to Customer care executive and gve my reference number. He offered me a discount of only 250 Rs. I asked for nodal officer number then he asked me to wait for few minutes. He asked me if I want to talk with his senior and I said Yes. After a couple of minutes his senior came and said it is not possible to provide refund for smart bytes.

                  Now questions arises
                  1. Why don't your website ask for card information when customer tries to purchase smart bytes for first time ?
                  2. Why did your tier 3 person give me reference number and asked me to call back once the bill gets generated.
                  3. Why your executives are not allowed to give number of nodal officer?

                    On 9 Feb 2013, I received a sms from Airtel informing me about my Special Offer. Following is the complete detail of the sms:
                    From: AP-650001
                    Text: "Get Unlimited Internet data pack for 30 days through a recharge of Rs.98. OFFER VALID FOR 3 DAYS."

                    The message was written in Hindi Font. I confirmed about this offer by calling Airtel Customer Care and they agreed that the information provided is -genuine.

                    On the next day, that is, 10th Feb 2013, I recharged my airtel mobile with Rs.98 as per their instruction. But when I check my Balance it was only 1GB, which is a usual amount and not any special offer.

                    I called Customer Care. On first talk, they refused by saying that no such sms was sent to me. But after some argument, they transferred my call to some senior supervisor, who finally agreed that I've got such sms. But he also added that, since they don't have any such offer "currently" available, they won't be able to activate it on my Number.

                    what the [censored] do they mean by saying that, no such offer is "Currently" available.

                    If they don't have such offers available, then why do they send sms to their customers.

                    I'm going to take this matter to higher authorities. I don't care about mere 98 rupees. But the matter is about how they fool their customers and even after that, they talk so rudely to their customers.

                        Dear Team,
                        Complaint No:1-
                        I recharged my mobile number [protected] on 8th February night where I got Rs.86 as balance after that I got it recharged with net pack of 98 (for 21 days). After the recharge I started to use the internet. I was surprised to see the balance was getting deducted from my main account. So i called the customer care executive where I was informed that the net pack will be activated in 1 hour maximum (which is nowhere written on the coupon). So after getting the information I checked my balance which came to Rs.48 from Rs.86 (without making a single phone call). Then today morning i.e on 9th of February I again started to use the internet (as per the executive, the pack must have been activated), and I was shocked to see that again the balance was deducted from my main account. I called to the customer care executive again where I was again informed that I will receive a confirmation message from airtel for the activation of service(which again is nowhere written on the coupon). I asked for the balance refund which was denied. There was some guy Amit from Airtel side. So now without making a single call my balance comes to Rs.13 from Rs.86.

                        Complaint No:2-
                        In the morning i.e on 9th of February I tried to call one of my friend where I got an automated voice message that my balance is low kindly recharge it and my phone got disconnected. I tried to make call 4-5 times but on each and every attempt i was getting the same message and phone was getting disconnected. I again tried to call Customer care where again my attempt to make any voice call failed. So even though I have Rs.13 as balance I am unable to make call.

                        It's so irritating to have a service like this from a company who claims to be the top in the segment. Seems airtel has made its motto "Jo Tera Hai Woh Mera Hai"....

                        hai sir good evening this prashanth with mobile number i had called to day to CCE for 4 times they did not give required information they had given different types of answers

                        Airtel — deducting pre paid balance for services not asked for

                        Ihad refilled my airtel card account balance today with 60 rupees and within 1 hour from refilling my balance has been deducted by 30 rupees for which i receive a message saying it is charged for airtel radio service. this is the 3rd time this has happened .earlier i have been charged 60 rupees for ringtons which i had not even subscribed for. i request you to look into the matter as soon as possible.

                              I did an online booking for airtel broadband connection, and got confirmation that our representative will contact you within 48 hrs to fix up an appointment for collecting and verification of necessary documents.I tried to call Airtel representatives may time to get a Airtell broadband connection who was coming for inspection and told me he will be came back to collect the documents but he never came back and when I said I will launch the complaint against you he told me you are free to do any thing.

                                Airtel Mobile — BILL PROBLEM

                                I have taken new airtel connection (postpaid) somewhere around Jan end or Feb 1st week. Then airtel barred my outgoing call saying that I failed in address verification.

                                For my first bill, I asked to send me the bill to my training centre in response to that they have taken the request but they oversight my request and changed.

                                I believe this is not good to deal with customer. Even pay bill on time (though I don’t have bill with me).

                                Due to this I suffer a loss of 7000 to 8000 in my business as I would not able to make any outgoing calls.

                                Now they are asking to pay the bill of Rs. 1200. where mylast bill is off Rs 500.

                                How could i get the compansation for my loss because of Airtel.

                                Hi,

                                In the current month bill, they (Airtel) have charged me charges for GPRS and New Bill Plan and for the same i have never raised any request to change my bill plan or to activate GPRS feature. These charges which have been charged on to me have been charged in the bill of Dec'2009 and after writing mails to me they have waived but this again they have charged to me.

                                Kindly look in to the matter ASAP.

                                AIRTEL MOBILE CUSTOMER CARE CALLING WHILE WE ALREADY PAID OUR MOBILE & ALREADY DEBITED FROM OUR ACCOUNT.IN THIS REGARD WE ALSO MAIL OUR STATEMENT AT [protected]@airtelindia.com as on 1st JUNE 2010. WE GET A CONFIRMATION THRU EMAIL FROM [protected]@AIRTELINIDA.COM. BUT TILL DATE OUR PAYMENT DID NOT UPDATED.

                                I REQUEST AGAIN PLS DO'NT CALL IN FUTURE OUR AIRTEL NO. [protected].

                                IF FURTHER ANY CALL GIVEN TO OUR DIRCTOR WE WILL GO TO DIRECT TRAI, BECAUSE WE NEVER IN FAULT RELATED TO PAYMENT.

                                My airtel mobile no [protected]. at least last three months company reversed some charges which was wrongly billed by them as SMS. I opt out from them and applied for tata docomo in mobile portability plan. Now my question is how many customer they have ?and if every one charged 40 rs extra from them how many people ask for reversal .and lastly how much money this company earned for false bill?
                                This is basic question I asked to every competent authority and requested them it is also spectrum scam and in this way people of India looted by by the corporates.

                                I am using your prepaid services in Nasik (Maharashtra and Goa). I am tired of registering my complaint with your customer service people who keep SMSing me a complaint reference number but nothing happens. Even calls to your nodal office have been to no avail.

                                My complaint : I am usiung number [protected].

                                My outgoing SMS is not working (I have checked all the settings etc etc). I am being subscribed to various services and asked to send a SMS to unsubscribe, but can't. Unnecessarily money being deducted for services I don't need.

                                Please help sort out my outgoing SMS problem !

                                  my name is ankul jain and my number is [protected]. airtel has activated a service without my permission and there was a deductio of 10 rupees per day and now i am calling to airtel but they are not responding and they are not talking to me and they are not listening to me so i don't know what to do???

                                  Mera Reliane ka no. [protected] hai. Aur is no. Per har 6 din baad nai callertune lag jati hai. Aur is ke liye co. 10Rs. Kaatti hai. Aur roz co. Ki call bhi aati rehti hai. Jis ki wajah se mein disturb rehta hon. Koi opay batayen.

                                  AirTel — balance deduction and no response from customer care

                                  up till now a total sum of Rs 67 has been deducted from my account.
                                  First Rs 7 was deducted for unknown reason.
                                  Then Rs 40 for some 'GCLUB' for downloding,that i never did.
                                  Then Rs 20 as weekly rental towards 'GCLUB'.
                                  Now for past 3 day i am trying to reach customer care and nodal officer,they r not taking up calls.
                                  So i request you to kindly look into my matter and take appropriate measures...

                                  HI,
                                  One day i had applied for port change, they called from airtel and asked the reason for port change then they suggest new plan for me.I didn't give any request for that plan but it got activated to my number.I called three times to customer care to deactivate that plan and restore with my existing plan they told some procedure to deactivate but its not responding.Now my no is not connecting to customer care but it can connecting from another no.

                                    Myself Bhagatsingh. & my mobile no is. [protected] which is a corporate postpaid no. From Airtel I am using since last eight to nine months. It happens many times that I have got exceptional bills from Airtel. Before also but I had not complaint before bcz. The executives assures me that this will not going to happen again but this time not only I have got a very huge bill amount but also their executive told me to arrange a call back within 2 hours and one of them had disconnected my call also. So sir I would requestto take some right decisions against it...

                                    My main concerns are:-
                                    1. I am having a data plan of rs. 149 monthly unlimited but after that Airtel bill is showing rs. 1100 something for data connectivity. So how is it possible. Sir.
                                    2. Acc. To Airtel bill I am having rs. 750 previous balance but I had deposited rs 800 on 4th of dec. Last month.So how is possible?

                                    3.I am using corporate community plan @ 199 monthly + 149 for data. So hows is possible that my billi is going on aprox. rs. 2000 .

                                    Sir I am a normal person or employee. I am unable to afford such kind of exceptions. Or fake bills. So you are are requested to help me otherwise Ill take some legel. Action against it...

                                    I have an issue with Airtel postpaid bill.
                                    After i took airtel connection within 3 months i have called and asked airetl care for the follwing requests
                                    1. To change the plan to 99- 199 rent plan
                                    2. To activate Internet Package to my another number

                                    But in next month bill plan was not changed for the number i requested but internet package had been activated for another number.
                                    After that on subsequent calls they assured me that it will be done but they never did that. And i told if this is going to continue i am not going to pay the bill you can disconnect the number anytime.

                                    I asked for a revised bill with the plan i had requested, but they never bothered to generate it or to listen my concern

                                    And now they are giving calls saying we will send court notice and all. And the lady one called me spoke very rude and used bad words as well.
                                    Here i have a valid point to note i believe.

                                    Here by i would like to raise a request raise a complaint for the same.

                                      I am a customer of digital tv airtel.my digital tv id-[protected].I got tranfser posting from Kolkata to Tarakeswar(Hooghly district west bengal).I
                                      di-istall dth on[protected].After tranfer i contacted customer care for re-installation at my new residence at tarakeswar.But to negligency,irresposible,poor service i still waiting for re-installation.I called many times to c ustomer care but they just told your problem will be solved sortly &given false promise.
                                      I am aregular customer of dth from 3 years.I get frustrated,depressed & feel cheated by airtel services.
                                      Very very very bad experince .How poor dth service provider is this.

                                      For this reason i giving complaint & strict severe criticism against airtel services.
                                      I just want to aware you about the bad services given by airtel .How airtel cheated customer.

                                      I am requesting to please take strict action againt it & stop activity of dth by airtel.

                                      I sue a fine of rs.5000 for my harassment by airtel

                                        I HAVE COMPLAINTS REGARDING THE AUTO RENEWAL PACK WHICH HAS BEEN ACTIVATED IN MY ACCOUNT. I CALLED THE CUSTOMER CARE FOR DEACTIVATION. THEY HAVE DEACTIVATED THE OFFER, BUT STILL THE PACK IS ACTIVATED ON MY ACCOUNT. AND ALSO THEY HAVE BEHAVED VERY BADLY . THEY CANCELLED THE CALL BEFORE DEALING WITH THE COMPLAINT. DID THE SAME 2-3 TIMES, OTHER THAN LISTENING TO THE COMPLAINTS AND TAKING THE NECESSARY ACTIONS.
