Received SMS from Airtel stating that as per TRAI directive from 26-Nov-2012 I will be charged Rs 0.50 however I was still charged Rs 1 per sms.

After multiple follow ups, the charges were reverted. The nodal and appellate officers assured me that the tariff change has been done. However after few days I was again charged Rs 1 and this time they have refused to revert the charges. I have already escalated the matter and the Escalation team is looking into the same for a month now. I feel cheated that the right tariff is not being applied inspite of them confirming that there is a TRAI directive. It's been 2 months that I've been following up on this.

    I am a postpaid customer of Bharti Airtel, mobile no. [protected] for past 3 years. I am using the internet service in the mobile itself.
    On[protected]:43 IST and[protected]:40 IST I had been deducted by Rs 99.00 on each occassion.
    Applications provided by the service provider comes with running advertisement on the bottom of the screen. Even touching the advertisement the service provider is debiting the account with Rs 99.00.
    It is very hurting to see such sort of mischevious behaviour by these service provider. Because as far as i know without any body's permission no body can sell them the products.

    Airtel — Activating unwarranted packages

    I have Airtel prepaid connection with no. [protected]. I have never asked for any of the value added services but it is forced on me. On 1.2.2010 companay has deducted 30/- for renewal of some Audio Movie package. When I have never asked for any of such package the question of renewal of such sevice does not arise. Contacting their customer care all abusurd replies. Strict action should be taken against the company which forces upon such packages & other value added services. I want credit of 30/- which is wrongly debited from my balance.
    Airtel robs money from prepaid mobile customers - by deducting Rs30, and then Rs 10 per month etc, without getting any request from the customers. Please let me know where can we register our complaints on this? This is cheating the customers and taking their money, without their consent. All Airtel customers UNITE and fight with AIRTEL on this.

    Airtel — getting a call -unwarranted

    I am getting a call from[protected]. I feel it a nuisance and if I attend the same a sum of Rs. 2 is deducted but there will be no reply from other side. I complained to airtel executive who assured to block it in four days is of no avail. This call I am getting four times a day and at times even at odd hours disturbing my asleep. regards vaidya

    I have three Air tel prepaid connections for me, my wife and my daughter and the numbers are[protected]; [protected] and[protected] respectively.

    We get unnecessary ad calls, caller tune nuisance and a call from[protected], more to the point while at asleep and in driving too.which all to be dispensed with since, it takes more time to wipe eg, market ads like snap-deal a few, etc. Hope will be attended to without further loss of time and emancipate from the nuisance for ever regards vaidya
    I hereby copy and paste a blogger arraigned the same service provider who assured me to redress me the grievance but proved an empty rhetoric

    If you accuse me not having any experience with Vodafone, BSNL, MTNL, Reliance or Tata you would probably be right. I don’t ! But my life just changed when I came across a company called AIRTEL. Yeah I am one of those miserable [censored]s who got myself an AIRTEL mobile connection and my life has been exciting since then. Guess what? I didn’t just get a simple SIM card, I got myself a pimp and a broker for free.

    For all those who value their privacy and the comfort of being connected AIRTEL is the son you never wanted. All through the day you are likely to get messages of properties in Noida, Gurgaon and anywhere in India. I never knew Airtel was an estate broker. This comes free. Hahahahahha! Wait, that is not all.

    Having got myself an AIRTEL SIM card I decided I was tired of these stupid smses all day and went ahead to register on their DND thing. Isn’t that nice? A phone company that even has this service? So, after you key in your phone number AIRTEL will send you a 4 digit pin code which you key in and you’re registered for a DND. Or so I thought. But before you can proceed to the next screen you will be offered some 7 options to select from. Options are Real Estate, Health, Tourism and so on. And here‘s the deal – Unless you select one of these options you can’t register for DND. So AIRTEL has options to invade your whether you like it or not. Do you feel lucky?

    If you were walking down Kamati bazaar in Bombay you would probably come across those special characters who would give you a guided tour. You touch, don’t touch, you see or don’t see but you pay! You look, you pay! You touch, you pay! You screw, you pay! You get wet, you pay! Hahahahha you can do all this for free with AIRTEL! The free pimp! Keep it zipped or don’t get wet, else you will pay!

    I finally realised with my experience that DND in case of AIRTEL is not Do Not Disturb. It means Dumb N Dumber. You buy a SIM card and you get a pimp and estate broker for free! Isn’t that what we always wanted?

    I wonder how much the pimp makes for selling your identity and number! Make a wild guess!

    Airtel — UNWARRANTED DEDUCTIONS

    SIR

    I have the service of AIRTEL bearing Nos [protected], [protected], [protected] and [protected]for me and my family. Poking to subscribe for caller tone, for Airtel chatting, have become order of the day. More to the point they send message as if I subscribed for this or that thus deduct 30/ pm as rent 10/ pm as rent and what not which all I never intend to do.

    If we have this service provider we must forego pleasant sleep, cautious driving, convenient siesta and peaceful attendance of nature call lest there would be ring from this service provider asking for this or that.

    I and my family members are fascinated for dialling or receiving from my clients, since I am in marketing and within us as wards are in different places thus for communication only. But it has become a great nuissance and I feel it right time for them to renounce their pimp attitude o[censored]shering chatting friends and so on

    Airtel — Unwarranted deduction

    Without my permission, Airtel activated Cooking tips.
    I got a message on 15/06/2012 saying that the same was activated. On enquiry, I came to know that it was activated since 1/11/2011.
    When I asked for reimbursement, they refused. After several attempts, they told me that their manager would call me in 4 hours.However, I never got any such call. They just registered my complaint no. as CBDOV[protected] and made no further contact.And I never received any cooking tips ! Pure cheating !!!

My recharge was failed but the required amount is deducted from my bank account.It happened two time in a day and I lost 500 rs.I got the message to my mobile that "failed due to some technical reason"

        Hi,
        We have been raising request to close our connection with Airtel for our fixedline number [protected] in the month of October, asking them shut down with the Sept -Oct cycle. But it had not been taken care for a 3 months. Now the bill has been piled up for Oct-Nov,Nov-Dec,Dec-Jan along with late payment fees. Request number to Airtel is : 32336922. Now we keep getting calls from them every now and then asking us to pay the bill which we don't want to pay. Only now they have disconnected. But still we get the calls which is annoying.

        Airtel Broadband — non-closure of connection

        I have been using an airtel broadband connection in Punjab. I had to shift fro Punjab therefore I applied for closure of this connection. I cleraed all my dues on[protected]. But till date I am receiving broadband bills from airtel.I tried to call ludhiana but they are giving me just nuimbers and not registering my complaints. when I am not using that connection why should I pay bills. sir, please advise me on the matter and take this complaint to the authorities so that i get releif from this.

          I had recently ported to Airtel, my mobile number [protected].
          Activated 3G, and recharged with 3G data.. But while using the data, it is around 10-15KBps speed only..
          I have called customer care, and lodged complaints regarding this..
          But there is no response from them at all..
          I even lodged complaint in their website, even that too no response..
          Then I decided to port out from the network, sent msg to 1900, got UPC code too.. later in 12 hrs I got call from airtel regarding only the porting issue.. I said abt the problem, he gave me some number & disconnected.
          when I called that no., it is different field.. still there is no solution to my problem issue..

          Most important thing: I am not new to 3G, I know about the settings, clearing cache, history, memory etc all.
          have been good at those..
          whenever I call the customer care, they r saying I have to clear the cache, keep in WCDMA mode etc etc..
          all those things I know.., while using net in my android mobile, there near the signal pointer it is showing H which means high speed data or HSPA / HSDPA.. but not in E (edge).. even in H mode, I am receiving 2G speed around 10-15kbps.
          I even tried in differenet mobile, and also in usb dongle.. but the speed is same..ie low speed around 10-15kBps..

          I have browsed for this kind of problem is being faced by someone or no..
          Yes there r people facing such problems, but Airtel being one of the top brand should take measures to solve issues..

          One of the main disadvantage of Airtel is:
          Not able to take care of customer/consumers complaints.
          One cannot call or contact the customer care 121 or 198 only twice or thrice a day... later it wont connect to the customer care at all, even i[censored]r problem not solved.. it wont connect for a day or 2 days or 3 days or even more..
          That's the worst in Airtel..

          Please solve my problem, and rectify the other problems.. which would be good advantage to the organization..

          AirTel — speed issue

          hi there....
          i have a speed issue .......the customer care agents n the technical were not properly answering me .....i am an existing airtel customer......i need to clarify ma broadband connection schema ......
          dear friend, just disconnect the airtel and go with TATA wimax connection.
          I have got the problem resolved..
          the main problem is...it is taking more time (even a day time sometimes) for the data connection..
          even though it is showing the net balance in account, it is taking more time internally to activate it..

            Yesturday on 31/01/2013 around 7:00-7:30 PM,Rs 99 were deducted for a game plan service.I am a teacher so why should i want this.Then today on 1/02/2013 i called to customer care executive on 198.they put me on hold and after sometime disconnected the call.i again call.a lady executive said that contact our senior officer so i contacted the senior officer on [protected]. They also put me on hold and after sometime disconnected the call.
            I am a middle man,and Rs99 values a lot for me and i m also aware of my rights so i m giving a complaint to you.

            Airtel — Deduction of balance for unknown services

            Dear Airtel Representative,

            My Airtel number is [protected]. Since last one month, every second or third day, amount of Rs.30/- is being deducted for some service which i never activated. I have called up the customer care a hundred times but still my problem is not resolved. I have also requested to activate "Do Not Disturb", but still the it is not activated.

            I request to de-activate all the services on my number and refund all the money deducted for the unapproved service.

            I am feeling very sorry to say that I am really not at all happy with the "Airtel" service.

            Airtel — UNknown deductions

            Sir,
            My MOBILE NUMBER [protected]-- PREPAID--AIRTEL

            Nowa days I keep balance less than Rs 300.00. Every day a deduction of Rs 2 or Rs 3 falls short from previous night balance-No calls made /no SMS.

            No services requested from operator . It is not known why this deduction made . They charge rs 0.60 paisa per min. while on roaming different , call received is also charged. ROAMIN rate cutter facility not extended by company.
            I would like to know why this is happenning- Even when the call is not answered they deduct money invariably -WHY?

            Same thing happened with me sir except rs50 was cut from my balance for some game download which I had not done. Even in my case contacted customer care but they disconnected my call. Airtel is a cheater. I ported from Vodafone to airtel which was a big mistake.

              due to irregular service of dth i have not recharge my a/c for 02 months. after some time i start receiving 8-10 messages on my registered mobile about recharge offers. i am allured by the offer as if i recharge for six months i will get six months extra i.e 12 month subscription. i called the customer care at[protected] on 26 Jan 13 and find out the amount for which i should recharge. the suggested amount was rs 1184. i have recharge immediately. my service started after 30 minutes of recharge. the very next day an amount of rs 592 was credidted in my accpunt. i was primise that the extra amount of rs 1184 will be credited. after querrying 10 -15 times the problem is still resolve. due to the wrong information provided from customer care i was not gor that offer. this is not the single case. such type of cases happened in past also. after calling to nodal office they are also in the same tone not to give the offer. they are ready to loose a customer who is using this service since oct 10. but they are not ready to take some remeadial action against the defaulter employee.

              TVS — WRONG INFORMATION

              I purchase a bike of TVS named FLAME 125 a year back from a authorized dealer at tilak nagar. At the time of purchasing they made very tall claim about average and performance. Driven by the fact that lighter bike give good average and also by there their promises i purchased it, it take my 3 year saving in buying that bike( as belong to middle class it mater a lot for me). After few month and 2 services i realizes that it is not giving the desired performance, i contacted the dealer they replayed that it will take 3 services more to give the stipulated performance by them.
              But even after that it was way behind the stipulated performance( avg. said to be 80, it is giving 45-50 like a bullet) along with this even engine was not working properly. When i again approached the dealer he was not willing to talk to me and same was the case at service station.
              Now i am truly confused were to approach and what to do. at one side i lost my saving at other i am felt cheated. please help me , guide me to right path

                Dear Support,

                I got Airtel Postpaid Connection on September 2012, My Number Was [protected].
                On that time I paid Rs.500 As Deposit, They never showed in my account, My Credit Limit was 500 Rupees, They Disconnected my outgoing Connection within 10 Days, I Faced many problems with Airtel so I said them to Disconnect my connection. And the Disconnect the Connection within 20 days from starting date.

                While taking connection MR.Sunil (Airtel Senior Sales Executive) Given the commitment for Call details of 349 Plan as 1000 Mins STD Free. when i receive the bill i shocked, because they sent bill with Rs.846/- bill amount, i gave many complaints about this, no more response.

                Next Month Also I got another 1 bill with the amount of 250 without usage.

                Kindly do me the Needful about the issue.

                AirTel Bharti — Wrong billing

                I have wrong billing issue since June, 2008

                That has not been resolved so far.

                Short description about the issue.
                I was in roaming on 21st may. My GPRS stopped working in roaming. I was not able to access GPRS on my Laptop. I called 121 for help but it connected me to local prepaid customer service.
                I called [protected] for help multiple times, But my issue was not resolved. I knew that this call is chargeable. All airtel supervisor promised that we will give you waiver for this call. I got the bill and all the calls i made on [protected] has been charged. Your supervisor did not provide me the complete waiver. I called n number of times to get the resolution, but nothing happened. Now i am completely fade up with Airtel service. I never had such types of experience with Airtel.
                I tried calling Nodal officer on [protected], Phone kept on ringing, No body responded.

                sir,
                i am Deepu from trivandram . i am using airtel sim i have used the plan ofg monthly 150 and platinam pack of 200 unlimited to one number .i called the customer care centre and said to de activate the platinam pack and they said the updation is gooing on and they will do the de activaction proceess after updation and they forgot to do thart and next month i got the bill including the platinam pack rs 200 . why this happen . customer care means to satisfy the costomer not to un satisfy customer . so i am going to cancel the sim i dont want airtel . they are irr responcible.

                I was told by the person who manages the authorised bill payment center that he has a security sum deposited with the Airtel which is immediately debited the moment the cash is received by him on behalf of Airtel. The next day when the collected cash is sent to Airtel the amount is credited back to his account. So there could be no reason that the bill payment was not made.

                I am surprised to receive the second bill with the following discrepencies.

                1. A late payment charge of Rs. 50.00 has been levied on me for the previous bill .

                2. COMPLAINT NO. 22277259
                The issue of wrong commitment by the Airtel person while issuing the new number is not yet resolved despite my repeated complaints.


                3. Airtel started sending messages regarding SwineFlu which was billed for Rs.2.00 each.
                I spoke to the customer care person and was advised to send an SMS on a number to discontinue. When I sent an SMS I recd a return SMS that due to some updation of the system the services will come into effect after 10Th of September 2009.
                Surprisingly the bill shows a charge of Rs. 62.00 for the SMS sent by Airtel even after requesting to discontinue the services.

                I REQUEST YOU TO KINDLY DISCONTINUE THESE SERVICES WITH IMMEDIATE EFFECT.

                I request you to kindly resolve the above three issues within this week or else I will not be left with any other option but to approach the concerned authorities.

                I am really surprised to learn that airtel database management is so poor that despite my making the bill payment even before the due date I am still getting calls for the same.
                I was asked by one of the customer care exec to shell out the details of the payment made which I did give him on the 15Th of Sept. After that day it has become a routine to receive a call per day regarding the bill payment.

                Airtel — Wrong Bill forced on me

                Dear Sir/ Madam,

                I am using airtel for the last 8 - 10 years on my numbers and I also use airtel broadband for my internet. The reason i am giving these details is for you to know how sincere and genuine a customer I am. I have been paying airtel an average of 1500 per month for this many years.

                Today one Mr Raj came to my residence and spoke to the watchman stating that there is something very urgent and i need to call back. I was paranoid why someone would say call urgently. Until i spoke to Raj who stated that there is a balance of Rs 2136 /- on a number which belongs to me. I told him that this is not my number and Airtel cannot blame me when I have not used the same. He stated that the address and name is matching mine and if he is able to prove the facts he knows how to collect the money from me.

                I would like someone to look into this matter urgently for the following reasons

                1) How did my name and address match with an unpaid number
                2) Are there any emails or bills that were sent to me or my address
                3) Why dint someone from Airtel call before sending the collection agents home
                4)The language used by the collections agent was very rude. He spoke to me as though i am an illitrate.

                Please note that I work in a very reputed organisation and have a status in the market. I would want to understand what action has been taken against Raj who came to my residence from the collections department. Raj passed the message to call him. He also told that he would find the details and contact me again. Please note that I would like to speak to someone proffessional and who knows to diffrenciate a proffessional from a Goonda.

                    3G service on "Pro Data Basis" was activated for 5 days (ie. 24hr x 4days + 16 hrs on 5th day).

                    The plan offers 2GB data at 3G speed for 30 days for Rs.450, exceeding which 3paisa/ 10kb . This means Rs.15/day and per day limit up to 66.66 MB (Mega Bytes). (Since I have been a frequent user of these services, I had clearly confirmed what pro data basis scheme meant from the customer care.) Using it for 5 days costs Rs.75 and allows data surfing worth 333.33 MB. I surfed 311MB and deactivated on the 5th Day.

                    They charged me 4 day plan usage ( ie. 4 x 15= Rs.60 and max allowable data in offer = 266.66 MB) and for the remaining 64 MB that I used on 5th day, they charged me Rs.500+ extra. When asked about it, they defended it by saying that they charge according to pro data basis only until a day before deactivation. So they charged the 5th day according to pay per use.( which is quiet more than 3paisa/10kb). On my strong refusal to accept such unjust terms they offered me a waiver of Rs.250 to which I refused.

                    Justice cannot be compromised by quantifying and bargaining. I asked them to waive the full 500+ amount or none to which they refused.

                    Airtel Postpaid Connection — Extra charges levied on my bill

                    I was using airtel postpaid connection Initially the services are ok i was working in a company and i had updated the official id to receive the monthly statement. I left the company and and informed airtel customer care that the mail id is changed. Even though i was not receiving the bills. Only i ll get msg to make payment to avoid late payment fee i use to make payment without viewing the bill. Nearly 50 times i ve called the customer care and given the compliant to change the mail address then i bought docomo number. Because of this i ve cancelled the number. Then they tacked the new number by calling my friends that i ve received a courier and asked for my number with my friends. Daily they torched like anything. I ve used only 1500 rs. But they ve filed a case against me to pay 3500. How its possible to make the payment without using. Even i am going to file a case against airel in consumer court.

                    Airtel — Unauthorised charges levied on me

                    In spite of not subscribing friends chat,Audio movies,Ramdev babas tips i have been charged for the same and around 4-5 times and more than 100 Rs were deducted.I want the same amount to be refunded to me.Please act on this as soon as possible.
                    Please let me know how can I proceed with legal actions.
                    The same they did for my case being an airtel customer for more than 5 yrs. This is poor and TRAI has to impose something with it. Also their customer care will not be able to say what is the actual pro rate charge when we switch plan. Or else they shud send a SMS askin..'Your bill will be charged this much if you switch your plan based on pro data basis. Do you want to continue to change your plan?' Why not they charge the whole 450 rs for the plan and then charge for the other plan?

                    By this only the postpaid customers are affected. The prepaid subscribed customers will lose their existing 450 plan and will have their new plan based on their recharge. The same has be done for post paid customers also.

                    If I have just used 10 MB for the 1st 4 days and when I switch plan, will airtel pay me the remaining amount based on pro data?

                      My wife has had an Airtel 4G LTE connection since November 2012 (Account number [protected]). From the first billing cycle itself, the usage limit of 30GB keeps getting over within 30 days. This is when the connection is used for email, basic internet surfing and a few hours of youtube combined in a month. Somehow 30GB have already been consumed in the first 14 days of this cycle with no explanation about details o[censored]sage being provided. Zero response from customer care. Applied already for disconnection, but this is plain loot

                      DO NOT go for this service ... Upfront investment of close to 10K down the drain...

                        Its regarding the outstanding amt within 5 days my outstanding amt is Rs 5968.80 and my credit limit is Rs.2600
                        When called Aitel helpline no they disconnected the line after placing on hold for a long time and it’s an ongoing issue. From past 3 months facing this problem earlier I was wrongly charged Rs.1000 and Rs.2000 in the previous bill but this time it was charged around Rs 6000. Where my bill only comes to max Rs.500. On Tuesday 13 January 2009 I had been to airtel relationship center located at chakala andheri and was informed that my number is hacked and they can’t do anything abt it and was also informed that many people are facing this issue with airtel but they can’t help it but they expected me to pay the amount which I haven’t used. And when I questioned them that from 3 months I was facing this problem the wrong amt used to get waived off but this time it is 6000 for just 5 days but after kept on calling Airtel, they was promised a call back from your senior but never received any callback Infact was told that I had to pay the amt and then my outgoing will be activated. The service provided by airtel is horrible do you expect to pay the amt wherein I have not used.

                        I am your old customer. My mobile no is [protected]. From last few months I am having problem with your Airtel service. I am facing problem of reduction of my balance without any subscription/activation. On 16 sep. evening my balance was deducted Rs10 as I didn’t activate any service on my mobile. Same day evening I discussed this matter with your customer executive’s senior. He assured me that my balance will be refunded back within four hours which is still not credited. Today also I talked with your customer executives but satisfactory reply not given by them.

                        Same problem happened with my son’s mobile. His name is Amar Mhatre & mobile no is [protected]. Upon confirmation from SBI customer care they have confirmed the deduction and successful transfer of fund. Since 10 days Airtel customer care people were not reachable as they have diverted the call and not receiving my request regarding.
                          Please help me out.

                          Airtel Communications — SIM Cancelled

                          I am using an Airtel postpaid connection in the name of Samay Sales Corporation which was converted to prepaid two months back in the name of Govind Agarwal. Its a Tamil Nadu connection. When I was in national roaming suddenly my outgoing and incoming calls are barred. When I came back and enquired at the customer care they informed that my SIM has been blocked by the company due to identity verification mismatch. As per my knowledge neither i receive any verification calls from the company nor they personally came to my address for verification. When I try to seek details for the kind of mismatch they refused to provide the details stating that they can issue the same number in post paid only. Also I have around Rs.500 prepaid balance which will not to be transfered in post paid connection. From last 15 days my connection is being cancelled for which I am losing my business. Anyhow I need this number since I am using it for last three years. Please suggest me how should I drag the company to the court. They are acting like GUNDAS.

                          Airtel Communications — Outgoing calls barred due to documentation

                          Dear Sir/Madam,

                          This is my painful duty to bring to your notice that a renowned telecommunication service provider has such a bad customer service.
                          We have witnessed the same problem for 4 consecutive times. A month back we received a message from Airtel that we have not submitted relevant documents for the number +91 [protected], which has been in use by my Husband Mr. Sameera from more than 5 years. We went with the relevant documents to our nearest Airtel retail showroom, which happens to be in Sheshadripuram, but we were confirmed that there was no problem with the documentation and we were asked to ignore the message.
                          But every now and then the outgoing calls from this number get barred. We have to wait on the phonelines just to fix a problem which we were told that never exists. After long and useless conversations with the CSRs of Airtel we are helpless but to lodge a complaint.
                          We have been loyal customers of Airtel since 6+ yrs and we expect some Customer Satisfaction.
                          Kindly do the needful at the earliest.

                          Ive been taken for an ride by Airtel in-spite of writing several emails asking them to send me an bill of march & april which Ive not received from then to tally the figure of the amount which ive paid in excess, they do not relent to the request moreover an computerize answer is shot back with false allegatioin that ive received the same and some complain no. is given.
                          Futher to add to the greivance the so called customer service whenever u call them they will answer u that system is upgrading now how many times is the system upgrading in an particular day.

                          Yes. Me too really not satisfied with Airtel. They have deactivated out going calls from my SIM which has been procured recently after submitting relevent documents. When I contactec customer care they are saying the documents were not submitted. I submitted my documents again and again many times... Still the SIM outgoing calls are not activated. It is a very bad experience with this operator. I have decided to change my SIM with different operator as per my friends advise as he has this experience with Airtel many times..

                            Dear Sir,

                            My airtel landline number is [protected].

                            This complaint is regarding Airtel Broadband , I used the service for 2 months , i.e. July and august 2012.
                            After that I called the customer care to disconnect the connection as I was relocating to some other place ,and the connection for broadband was not required any more.
                            But I was offered not to disconnect the service and keep the broadband connection in safe custody for 2 months, i.e. from 10 September 2012 to 10 November 2012. So I was asked to deposit Rs 400 as safe custody charges. I paid the amount by credit care. The safe custody Number is 20889100.
                            Also the executive told me that no bill will be generated for this period, and I will get a call from customer care , to relocate my broadband connection to the place I want to relocate after the expiry of safe custody period.
                            But after the expiry of the safe custody period I did not get any call from customer care to reconnect the broadband , so I didn't bother about this any more.
                            But after that I got a call from the executive that I have some amount pending to be deposited, So asked [protected]@in.airtel.com to immediately disconnect the connection , for that mail they replied me that there is an outstanding of Rs. 812.36/- in your account for bill dated 12-OCT-2012. The final bill will be generated on 12-DEC-2012. And gave me Reference number 24492136 and the told me that the issue will be addressed by 7 days.
                            For this e-mail I replied that I don’t have any outstanding as I have already paid my last bill on 9 September , 2012 of Amount Rs 312.60. And again asked them to disconnect the connection.

                            Now I am repeatedly getting calls to deposit some Rs 1700 approx for the broadband connection which I never used after 10 September,2012. And also threaten me by saying that they will send me a legal notice.And misbehaved with me and my wife on phone call.
                            I repeatedly sending them e-mails , but getting reference numbers only and no resolution yet.
                            I also called the customer care , but they are saying that the number is disconnected and they can do nothing about this now.


                            I am surprised and very much disappointed with the behaviour of the company . As they first wrongly committed me and they generated bills for a period which is under safe custody.

                            Airtel Broadband — Wrong Bill

                            I am using Aitel broadband for last 18 months(Phone No.[protected]. Their billing system is a fraud on the customers. My average usage is Rs.500 to 800 for last 16 months.

                            This time I got a bill of Rs.2302(Bill No.[protected]. On the top of it the customer care center is unwilling to provide any detail of the billing(Interaction Id No.[protected]. Perhaps they have to generate a fraudulent details to match the bill.

                            Same problem occurred 5 months ago but at that time, I coughed up the amount as it was about Rs.1000. This time the has hit the fan.

                            Only recourse available for me is to approach consumer forum and fight it out legally once and forever.

                            Airtel Broadband Connection — Wrong billing of Airtel Connection

                            i had given the request to customer care of Airtel Broadband to disconnect the connection in july, they had confirmed that there is no due but now thay are generating bill on the monthly basis and sending the same at home. when i ask them why they are donig that so now they are saying that nothing can happen you had to pay the amount of Rs. 2000/- without any usage and they disconnect the connection on 16th of oct.

                            Airtel , Broadband — Didn't close the connection and still generating bills

                            Hi,

                            I was using Airtel broadband from Dec '2009 at my old residence #1489, first floor , Sector -21 , Gurgaon vide phone no +[protected].i was properly paying all the dues to airtel till the time i was using it. I have raised the closing request for this connection on 28 th August 2010. Even they have not closed the connection and still generating the bills . due to this , there is huge amount pending on my side and putting late fees also. as per my knowledge i have deposited all the pending dues and have to take back my security from airtel. I have left that house on 31 st august 2010 and was out of india for 100 days .Now on 28 th of November around 9:30 AM, i recieved a call from airtel customer care(female) and customer care was talking very rudely and abusing me also due to non payment.

                            Hi sir,
                            My complain details are as follows :
                            I raised the request for transfering the line .Airtel guys told me that they will charge 300 for transfering . i told am not ok . Because this is only building change . when I called them again they told that they dont have enough capacity in that area.I told them to cancel the line for ever.
                            I went and took reliance data card but after 10 days they called me and told sir can you shift your connection to any one of your friend?
                            I gave the contact no of my friend . they came and shifted the line to my friend .
                            for that they charged me 850.00 RS .
                            this is quite travestry of customer right .
                            Please whoever is here please do needful.
                            Airtel is a fraud company and their fixed line customer service attitute towards disconnection is the worst. They are not ready to give anything in writing/ via e-mail an jus revert on phone. they never stand by their commitments of reverting within 24 hours.

                            My phone number is[protected] is connected along with broadband , even though we hardly use this landline number but still lokking after from the first bill till date the bills reaches more than 100 above which is really not possible as useage of the connection is not so much , considering we also use other internet connections. if this is the service airtel is providing to there customer then , i think they need to search for customers , because its simply cheating a customer who cares & trust the company. please look after this matter .

                            I am Amritesh Pratap.
                            I had bought a Airtel Broadband connection in Dec. 2011.
                            My plan was 549/- . In this plan, Airtel marketing agent ensured me that I can browse & surf internet without any cost & i will download anything, it will be free till 3 G.B. After 3 gb, it will be payble according tariff plan.

                            I used that plan for 1 month. After 1 month, I got a billing summary with 1200/- big amount for that month.
                            When I talked to airtel customer care, they told me that "Nothing is free in that mentioned plan. All browsing & surfing are paid."

                            I shocked after listening that . I had cheated by Airtel agent.

                            Anyway, I complained to airtel customer care in that month(January) that please disconnect my broadband connection. I am not interested to continue your service. But they did not disconnected my services & my bill has generated continue without information.

                            After 3 month, I received again there call & they informed me that now my billing amount is 4500/- .(This bill was generated without using there connection). Now, they are calling me on daily basis & threat me that if I will not pay there generated amount, they will file a case against me & I will have to pay there amount by-force.

                            Can anybody help me against them so that I can get justice as soon as possible & nobody could be harassing again by such kind of problem.
                            Also, please suggest me, what kind of legal action I can take against him ??
                            Useless teams working in Airtel. Generated bills for officially deactivated account in broad band . Never keeps its system updated nor any customer care service. I don't know why these networks are authorised despite their fraudulent activities. We had deactivated our landline[protected], at March itself. Airtel you suck.

I have paid my Airtel broadband landline bill on Jan 07, 2013 in Vel Associates. Now the problem is I'm receiving continuos calls from from Airtel stating that i haven't paid my Airtel Bill. When i checked with the Vel Associates regarding this I came to that they have enterd my mobile number instead of my landline number. They said that they will try to refund the money and transfer it to this bill. They will complete the process by tomorrow itseems. My mobile number is [protected].                               Hi,

                              My telephone no.[protected]. I had given shift request on 21/01/2011. Before giving shift request I had cleared all by dues (outstanding bill). On 08/02/2011 Airtel customer care called up and told shifting in new premises is not possible and I had given cancel request on the same day (08/02/2011) req no: 447143. After this airtel person named Krishna called me and he had conferenced with his manager Prem ( mob no: [protected]) and they asked me to wait for 10 days and asked me to continue. In the mean time Airtel genererated monthly bill and for cancellation of this bill I had given complaint no: 43225494 and pickup instrument: 43225664. Nothing happened I gave one more calcel request on 03/03/2011 and complaint no: 452187. Airtel keep generating bill for the same. I gave one more request for bill cancellation on 30/03/2011 and request no: 44706284. One more bill complaint request no: 44946342 on 06/04/2011.

                              Airtel people simply generates new complaint no. My connection is not in use since 22/01/2011. Before giving shift request I paid all my dues. Then why should I pay all newly negerated bill. It's Airtel fault and they delayed my connection.
                              Please help me in this.

                              Airtel Broadband — Payment problem

                              Dear Sir,

                              My land line number of the broadband connection is[protected].
                              I had paid the settlement amount of Rs. 5404 to Bharti Airtel and the same sent to [protected]@airtel.in.
                              I was promised by paying the same amount my balance will be nil and I will get my connection activated with in an hour.
                              Now, I am getting calls from Airtel customer care that I have to pay Rs. 2000 extra.
                              It has been two weeks and no response from Airtel office, Hyderabad.

                              Actually, payment problem started when I paid an amount of Rs. 1500 for my router through cheque which was deducted from my bank account and the same amount was added to my bill again.
                              No proper response from Airtel customer care till now
                              I trust the brand and I have mobile connection, DTH, landline and broadband with Airtel.

                              Please reactivate my account and respond me ASAP.

                              I had taken the airtail broadband wifi [protected] connection 9 month before, I paid the payment of 6 month during connection installation. Before completing six month, I stopped the modem and not used internet. Even though airtail company force me to pay 4000 Rs for next six month with discount 50% without usage.
                              They are forced me and given legal notice for the payment.
                              Airtail company cheating to other customers and forcing people to make payment once you take connection.
                              I again getting message for the remaing payment as tax on Rs 4000.

                                I am getting a message of service of PRABHU KRIPA Subscription Charging Rs 5/- per day since 26/10/2012 .I have already reported this issue on Dec 6 and got my money back till that point of time, but the problem still persist and got an overdue of payment for the current bill.I have never asked for this subscription.

                                Please deactivate this service permanently ASAP and refund the money into my postpaid account. Below are the services I am using from Airtel.

                                  Hello my number is [protected]. I ported to airtel a month ago. I had a balance of approximately Rs 79 on 30/01/2013. However airtel has cut my balance down by Rs 50 saying that I have downloaded games in a message that I received at 5 30 PM on the above mentioned date.

                                  This is theft on the part of the company. When I called the customer care, a lady picked up the call and I politely briefed her the matter.She began some drama and said that she was busy and asked to call later. This is the state of the customer care of airtel. When I called the second time about half hour later, a man received the call then I briefed him and he kept me on hold and said that he would address me , then he began saying that I have accessed non free websites from my mobile. I told him that I have activated a 3g plan and I am free to access any website of my choice and my data limits still are not reached (only 150MB used out of 300MB for the month). He began blabbering and said sir I don't know that and all but we charge for websites. I told him that I will complaint. He got tensed and disconnected the call.

                                  I received only a message saying:: "your reference no is CBDCC [protected]. Hope your issue is addressed."

                                  My balance still remains low.

                                  Sir I request you to take severe action against the company and stop such cheating of many customers like me.Please get my currency back.

                                  I am Dhirendra Thanki.I Buy Airtel Simcard for using internet in my PC by Mobile. I choos a plan 20Rs./day for mobile office service that is automaticly cut 20 Rs. PER DAY if service active. 21/11/2009 the first day of I used this service and WHAT I saw 60Rs. of balance cut out without connecting mobile with my PC.That time I thout that it may be my foult becouse i'm use this service first time and i did'nt anything.
                                  But,yesterday(DATE-26/11/2009) evening at 7:43pm I requested for mobile office activation.[before activat service my acount balance was 31.14 Rs. ]After a minut I got conformation disply(not a massage) at 7:44pm.After a minut i got a massage (Sorry, Currenly we are unable to process your request. Please try After Some time) at 7:45pm. But there were 20 Rs. cut out of my balance . I connect mobile with PC there were no service started. Quikly I contected a CUSTOMRE CARE(for Airtel dailing 121) .I told all my problem Mr.manish he told me that i was active my service at 7:43pm and diactive 7:47pm .I refused that and he transfered call to Mr.RAKESH and he was told me that what can i do for this and this is your foult . fater told that he was disconnect call .after this talk they are not recive my call. you can read above massages fot satisfaction. and today i got a new massage that (Sorry, Currenly we are unable to process your request due to nisufficeint balance Please Recharge and try again) at 11:06 am. If I diactive my service why thay sent me conformation massge for service.

                                    This Complaint is against Airtel Ltd and Karbonn Mobiles. My Postpaid Airtel account number is [protected]. I had purchased the Karbonn A15 on 17th from an online store and got the delivery on 23rd. as per the offer published in news article of karbonn providing free airtel GPRS for the selected models of A9+, A15, A21 and A30 for a period of 6 months (link : http://articles.timesofindia.indiatimes.com/[protected]/telecom/36393421_1_karbo... , i started using the GPRS as nowhere it was mentioned that there would be a confirmation sms / notification for the usage. I tried to confirm the same with airtel customer care but they had no idea on this scheme. Now , due to the GPRS usage, my credit limit of Rs. 1000 has been violated and my data services have been blocked. Also my unbilled usage is showing as 1700+ Rs. I have dropped a mail to both airtel and karbonn for this scheme. Karbonn has comeup saying that you should have confirmed with us before using and the scheme is applicable for new sim card buyers and not existing postpaid customers. I do not want to be a scape goat here and pay for the misguidance of both karbonn and airtel. I want solution to the issue. Please help at the earliest.

                                      Hi,

                                      I also got the call (on 29 Jan 2013)from Pakistan [protected] on my airtel number, telling me I won 25 Lakhs on my airtel sim and I have to call there manager named Shahid Kapur on [protected]. I call on that number they told me the same that I win 25 lakhs and for collecting it I have to call them on next day around 09:00 am and they will give number of SBI manager who will tell about procedure to transfer amount to my account. But before that I have to switch off mobile at night and switch it on morning 9:00 am. Which I had not done. In night and morning i got missed call from the above number 4-5 times, which I didn't pickup.

                                      Please look into this matter seriously, some type of fraud is going on.
