I bought Airtel DigitalTV HD+ which has recording feature in USB but the recording feature is not enabled to me. I am calling to customer care for the past 6 days ( from day 1 from of installation), the service engineers are coming and changing the set top box everyday but the service got SUSPENDED instead of resolving the recording issue. So I am in a position to calling to customer care everyday to resume the service and they are promising that the problem will be resolved in 24 hours. but it is been taking 24 * 6 = 144 hours..

I had same experience in getting new connection, I paid the rs.2890 on 30/01/2013 and they promissed that the installation will be done in 24-48 hours, but it was done on 02/02/2013 evening (100+ hours). that too I was keep on calling and following up with them, otherwise it would have been done after a week or month( i dont know). and worst thing is, YOU WILL NOT BE GETTING RECEIPT FOR Rs.2890/-

If you can sacrifice all the above, you can choose airtel digital tv otherwise PLEASE DONT, go to hell instead.

Bharti Airtel Digital TV — Bharti Airtel Digital TV Shifting

Hi,

My Airtel digital tv customer id is[protected] and I have applied for shifting of cable tv. The old connection was removed 5th June and still now the new connection has not been installed in my new flat. During my old connection removal I was asked to pay Rs 300 and the same amount was paid by me through recharge on 7th June.

I have called airtel digital tv customer care atleast 10-15 times during last three days and every time they tell me that the new connection would be installed in my new flat within next 2 hours but nothing happened till now.

Today on 9th June (10 p.m) just now when I called airtel customer care I got a new information that my account has been suspended (although I have enough balance) and they could not tell me the reason for this suspension.

It is quite surprising to see that the CSR's does not event have such basic information. They have now told me once the account is activated they would discuss with concerned department and let me know when the connection would be installed in my new flat. This is quite astonishing to see how a company like AIRTEL treats their customer.

I am quite sure that if I call tomorrow morning I would get some new information and again some false hope.

    Date : 08.02.2013 Dear Sir / Madam, I had tried to make the Airtel Post Paid Mobile payment of Rs.734/- for my Mobile No.[protected] online through Info.IIN*Paytm.com on 01.01.2013. But the airtel recharge was unsuccessful, the said amount has been also debited from my ICICI Bank Savings Account. Message on 01.01.2013 was received on my mobile from LM-iPaytm.com which is reproduced below:

    "Sorry your Airtel recharge was unsuccesful. Rs.734 refunded to Paytm Cash. Order No.65590047. Check FAQs on Paytm Cash at Paytm.com"

    In view of the above message, tried to find out the status of my refund order on the LM-Ipaytm.com website, but could not find any thing relevant to my refund order. Till date, I have not received any cheque/demand draft/cash or credit in my bank account. Hence you are requested to take up the matter with the concerned authority and guide me how I can get my refund amount of Rs.734/- at the earliest.

    AirTel Bharti — Not Recharge mobile after payed by Mcheck

    I tried for recharge my mobile threw mcheck facility on 15 July 2008 with amount of Rs. 110 . They send message to me is "Transation failure by bank" but Airtel deducted Rs. 110 from my sbi account 8 times and after some time they again added amt Rs 110 in my account only 7 times. so where is my Rs 110 extra?
    I complained this mistake to airtel local office ajmer. but they did not recharged my mobile till now.

    Recently I got a new prepaid connection.My no. is [protected] . I would request you to plz do not give any detail of my phone call list to take any person withouth my permission.

    I have also tried for recharge my mobile threw mcheck facility on 30 Jan 09 with amount of Rs. 250 . After all payment process complited they send message to me is "Amt of Rs. 150 is not allowed. Only Rs. 100, Rs. 255..." but Airtel deducted Rs. 150 from my HDFC Cr Card account.

    I complained this mistake to airtel cust. care. but neither they did not refunded my above amount in my HDFC Cr Card account nor recharged my mobile.

      My no [protected], i have been using this no past 8 years in reliance and
      Ported to Airtel in the month of October for me and my wife ([protected]) in
      Tejas Telecom airtel showroom in Nungambakam.

      Have given my id proof ,pan card and photo two copied for me and my wife no,
      but in the month of November i got message saying to submit my id proof once
      again, while the same proof was given for both the number, only for my no they
      said to re submit, so have submitted the same in 20th of November in personal
      to that showroom, but my service got disconnected in the month December for the
      same reason being after paying one month rental usage.

      So again after shouting at that show room why they have not submitted ,they
      informed that it was misplaced some where and once again 1 gave the proof and
      every, but till date no response from any of them.

      Can u Please let me know what is happening, if not please release my no so that
      i will change to any other network..

      Pls take action on mahesh & suresh in nungambakkam tejas telecom.

        Hi,

        International roaming on my corporate number [protected] is deactivated without my concern.
        When I have called the airtel customer care the executive Yogesh Gadkari ( call reference [protected]) told me that the service was deactivated as my outstanding amount exceeded the limit.
        I was not prompted for any bill payment via SMS or email, so I was unaware about that.
        He also mentioned that the service will be again started if only I (or any family/friend) will go to airtel gallery. Please NOTE that none of my family members stay there at Mumbai so no one will be going to airtel gallery for this.
        I want the service to be resumed ASAP. (Due to unavailability of my mobile I am unable to pay my other bills as my bank sends OTP to my mobile, which will result in interest charges.)
        This was a very shameful event and really I feel very upset being a customer of airtel.

        PS: I have made an online payment of 2000 INR and transaction number of the payment is 063673.

        Airtel — international roaming deactivated without informing user

        I am using an airtel sim taken from eranakulam no.[protected] .while taking its written on the manual that " international roaming activated" and its deactivated after I starts my roaming now I am in country .panama. and my business contact no. is not active.

            AirTel — PF related

            I was working with Airtel through Flexione Bhopal till July 2004 and had filled in for withdrawing my PF amount but the same has still not been credited to my account.

            PF account number KN/BN/34272/4619.

            Kindly confirm the current status of my account and the procedure to get the same released. Since now i am working with Vodafone Delhi now it is not possible for me to visit Bhopal office and follow up the same.
            Hope to get a revert on the same soon.

              Leveraging the strength of its broadband network, leading global telecommunications company, Bharti Airtel is set to become a one-stop-shop in the distribution of television channels across diverse media platforms. After the successful launch of its direct-to-home (DTH), IPTV, and 3G mobile TV, Bharti Airtel which also operates mobile network in Nigeria and 15 other African countries, is set to launch a dedicated Internet TV for its 1.8 million broadband users. The company has called the offering Airtel’s Broadband TV which is set to hit the market next week.Accessing the Broadband TV will require a Airtel broadband connection. After opting for it, the consumers can simply watch live television on internet in real time by accessing websites. Broadband TV will also work on wi-fi networks and the consumer will not be charged for the data consumed in accessing the television content. Airtel will launch the service with 28 live, 19 video on demand (VoD) channels and 12 movies for Rs. 99 per month. There will be a special monthly offer of Rs. 49 for users who want to access the service between 9 pm and 9 am.The USP of Airtel’s Broadband TV is that users will only pay a flat monthly fee to access the TV channels on internet at home or in office real-time. “The bandwidth consumption for watching Broadband TV will not add to the Airtel customers’ broadband plan data usage,” Girish Mehta, CMO Telemedia Services, Bharti Airtel told FE.However, if an Airtel broadband customer accesses Broadband TV on non-Airtel broadband, the data charges will need to be paid. The move is aimed by Airtel to add more broadband subscribers.Internet TV is different from IPTV or Internet Protocol TV, which was launched by Airtel over two years ago.While IPTV consumers require a set-top-box and a dedicated back-end infrastructure at the service providers level to access channels, Internet television allows the users to watch a television channel directly from a channel directory using the internet and a broadband plan. Also, while IPTV involves protocol-based delivery of content, the Internet television uses the streaming mode to deliver channels in virtually real tim.Meanwhile, Ericsson has announced it has deployed the latest core and radio technology to provide an advanced and state-of-the-art network infrastructure supporting the launch of airtel 3G services in Delhi and the National Capital Region.                 Dear sir,

                it is to inform u that i have a postpaid connection number [protected]. I have following issues:-
                1. I m not able to contact to customer care executive on 121 since 31/01/2013. I have already complainted many times on your appellate desk but this problem is still continued.
                2. On 30/01/2013 i talked to mr. Pradeep yadav (seniour superwiser) at 121 and asked him about number portability. He asked me why i want to port my number. I told him that other service provider offers me more benefits in low rental so i want to port my my number to other service provider. He told me to wait for the next day and he is writing a mail to his seniour and will provide me 50% to 60% rental benefit on bill plan for rs499.
                on 31/01/2013 he offered me a waiver of 60rs per month on bill plan for rs499. But at that time i am not agreed because i want more benefits.
                i raise this issue to your appellate desk to miss namita. She told me that there is no interaction shown between me and mr. Pradeep yadav in her system. Then i again lodged a complaint and asked to hear my call recordings between me and mr. pradeep yadav.
                After that i had a call from number [protected] and talked to mr. Ravinder singh. Firstly he told me that he had heard all recordings but there there is no such talk between me and mr. Pradeep yadav. Then i told him that i talked to mr. Pradeep yadav two times but he heard only one. His behaviour was very rude to me and he is assumed himself as a owner of airtel and he disconnected the call.
                Then i again called on ur appellate desk and asked to talk to mr. Ravinder singh. After sometime he called back me. I told him to hear all call recordings and change my current bill plan to rs 499 plan with 60rs per month rental waiver. But he told me that not to call him again and now he will not provide any benefit. Then he disconnected the call again.
                You are requested to look into the matter and solve my all problems.

                  I recharged my airtel number [protected] on 24th January with Rs.500.
                  On the airtel website it was clearly written that Rs.500 talktime will be given on recharge of Rs.500. But after recharging with Rs.500 I got only Rs.442 as talktime. Can I know the reason for this misguidance?

                      Airtel Prepaid — Airtel Not fulfilling its promises

                      I’m Airtel customer having bundled prepaid Airtel (Haeir) Handset. As per the Airtel Scheme I get a monthly free usage of 70 minutes for calling Airtel to Airtel. This was supposed to continue for 24 months. These 70 minutes free usage money from Airtel use to come in my cell by every 2nd of the month. But this month I haven’t received these 70 minutes as promised by Airtel. These 70 minutes usage was my soul temptation for purchasing this Airtel handset.
                      Calling to Airtel customer care, its nodal officer and even its appellate officer has proved to be useless. May be you can help.

                        This is very shame full for you guys that no Buddy is listening to my problem i nitin minocha i am the customer of your telecoms and your executive misbehaved with me on cell and threat me on call when i lodged the complaint after that i came to know that the number belong to air tel this is very shame full for the managers& trainers that they are giving this training to their team member the girl and the guy the girl name is sonia but i didn't know the name of the guy they both abused me and threat me that they will kill me i received the call from[protected] on[protected] at 12:22:10 and after that they both activate my hello tune for 365 days as i received this messages at 12:47 after that call that bludy bull girl and that guy taken my details and told me that we are coming to your place i am giving all this matter to court that airtel is leaking all the customer details as i am in secure in your network really this is very shame full my number is [protected]


                        and after 24 hours i got the reply that we will give you waver for your hello tune i mean i not expecting all this plz look into this matter if any thing will be done than airtel is responcible for that

                        I am K. Ramesh Kumar, SEF NO. BA. 0371795. HDFC Bank Cheque No. 027701 dated 10th of June 2009, Rs. 500.00. I had applied for Broad Band connection Value Combo 799 Plan Unlimited download. Mr. Edwin[protected] of your Executive visited my place and checked the connection, he said within seven days you will get a connection. On 8th Day Mr. Edwin, said to give a call to Mr. Guna[protected], When I given a call to Mr. Guna, (Four to Five Times I had given a call to Him), he said I am on Field you can contact Mr. Ravi. Finally I spoken to Mr. Ravi[protected], he said I will check the status and I will confirm you evening, Evening his given a call and said we cannot provide the connection due to DP Problem we will refund the amount he said. Day by day I am Giving call to Mr. Ravi Not responding, either you will give amount or not. At least tell the status.

                        Keep on calling your Executive for getting my money. Your Airtel Executive not at all picking the calls, This is what your providing service & satisfaction to customer?

                        Kindly take necessary steps for the same. At least you tell me whether you can pay the amount or not, so that I can reduce my phone bills instead of calling your executives.

                              from 4th to 7 th i went to pay bill on time but usually this centre is rude the attitude and behaviour of staff is horrible and they dont accept bills causing trouble to customers they make lame excuses like server down we dont accept credit and debit cards we dont accept cash plus some or the other way refuse to accept payments on time as there,s no parking most of the times cars r getting towed by the traffic police mostly its the neglegence o[censored]r staff hence forth i[censored] have same type of services we might stop using ur service . totally its a complain from 50 customers plz make a note of it seriously before we send it to press

                                I was contacted by a certain Mr Dharamveer Singh from Delhi a few months ago, who told me he was calling from court and that i had an outstanding amount to be paid to Airtel for a number I used 2.5 years ago (number[protected]. I requested him to send me a copy of the bill, upon which i would be happy to pay the bill. He informed me that they cannot send me the bill, but i can walk into an airtel service center and pay the bill.

                                I received a couple of more calls from the same person threatening to call my family and threatening that the pain i would go through if i didn't would be too much and it would be better if i just paid it off.
                                I visited the airtel store in Madhapur, Hyderabad and asked to see the outstanding bill or at least the calls that were made that show me i had an outstanding payment. I was told that there is no way to see the bill

                                It is my understanding that i had cleared all bills on the number before closing it down.

                                I have since then written to airtel customer care ([protected]@in.airtel.com) and platinum care (since they now call me a platinum customer on my current mobile number) at least 5 times, with no concrete response. Here are some issues I faced with airtel:
                                1. Threatened by their debt collection agency
                                2. Upon asking to see the outstanding bill and offering to pay when i see the bill, I have been made to write to them at least 5-6 times with no effective response. Each time, my email to 121 goes to a different person with no complaint number and each person fails to revert except for an email which says, thank you for writing to us.
                                3. Even when i walk into a store and offer to pay upon seeing a bill, they tell me I cant see the bill.

                                My family has also received a call from the debt collection agency asking me to pay up.
                                Threats of this nature are not appreciated. I dont know how much more I have ot follow up with airtel before they send me a copy of my bill. I am willing to pay upon receipt of my bill.

                                I am receiving a similar threat calls post my cancellation of 4G service. I had paid upfront the charges for first three months and decided to close down due to poor service, customer service as well as data bandwidth in our area. There were some freebees offered for data addition for which some charge was added by mistake which i was assured that would be taken away.

                                I got a threatening call today that a warrant has been issued for non payment of some 1000 odd INR (65000 bailable and police will come any time and arrest me!) and the case would be in Delhi court only.

                                I mentioned I did not receive anything in writing on which he said the courier came back undelivered, surprising because indian post leaves a note on door and private couriers call on mobile. None of which was a reality.

                                I had to write n number of emails for disconnectivity, I also received some strange bill of 70000 in between which was nullified after many request.

                                And now this !!!

                                  My airtel Postpaid muner - [protected]. I am trying for mobile number portability reqest bby messaging PORT <Mobilenumber> to 1900. But i am getting the reply message from 1901 as 'You have entered a invalid number'. I had contacted Aitel customer care for this issue and they assured it would be resolved with 21 hours. But it was now almost 6 months over and whehter i am contacting customer and i am getting the same answer as 'it will be resolved soon'. So dont go to Airtel products and customer service is very very worst.

                                  Airtel Postpaid service — Airtel has changed my DAP bill plan without my consent

                                  I had already written a complaint to you about you have changed my Bill Plam frm DAP Rs. 300 to DAP Rs. 400.
                                  My accounts department has taken a note of this. I am in Corporate plan. My accounts department has told me get a fresh bill with credit for Rs. 200/- for last two monts DAP and asked you to send me bill. Accounts is not raedy to rereimburse me the bill.
                                  If I do not get the fresh bill and your intimation in couple of days time I will be forved to go to other service providers.
                                  You have not answered to my eralier complaint. Please answer or my colleauges will go away from Airtel who are in Airtel Corporate Plan.

                                    I have a Post Paid Connection ([protected]) from Airtel & have requested so many time to terminate the services & billing to the customer care thru phone calls & e-mail, but every time a new representative call on my alternate no. & create a new story from last two months.

                                    Last call was a gentle request from Airtel representative to restore the service on behalf of waving off all the dues but again all the promises from Airtel guys are failed & current bill is showing all the dues which is already waved off by verbal commitment from them.

                                    Airtel has now started cheating their constomers by falling down as per the commitment.

                                      We purchased airtel 4G LTE by paying 2600 for the device 4 months back. Once the allotted 9GB was utilized (which was suppose to be every month and until the bill is generated) the Internet speed in poor till date. When we contacted customer care they asked to pay 1800/- so that they can increase the quota (4GB) but no improvement in the speed and waste of money. After 22nd of every month, the speed is moderate for 3 days but then we receive msg that allotted (9GB) quota is utilized 100% and then the speed becomes poor which is unreasonable and unfair as we doesn't download anything as the speed is Only moderate. When i logged a complaint at 51619, they said service engineer will attend to this issue but no track or response to the complaint so far

                                      No satisfaction in this last 3 months and also on purchasing this device with poor inter speed

                                        Airtel Prepaid Connection — deactivation of number

                                        i m user of airtel number[protected] from 5 years. it was a demo number. suddenly my sim has beem blocked and deactivated without any information.it has been reissued to other person. i am bearing loss in business and other related problems.i want my number back.
