I have applied for mobile number portability for my existing airtel number. i am not satisfied with its services at all. Its been more than 20 days since my application and till date they not realised my number and have stopped all customer care services at my number particularly. as a consequence of which, Idea cannot allot me its number; i want to switch network to Idea. i am finding myself helpless and my bills are running in thousands. I want a proper response from the Company or Court of Law shall be the only option available at my end. Kindly help at the earliest.

Airtel / Idea — Number Portability

Dear All,

I have given request for number portability from Airtel to Idea. My number is [protected]. This request I had given almost 2 weeks ago. I have got 2 call from Airtel for confirmation. I have confirmed that I want to PORT OUT. Still my Airtel number is active & Idea Sim is inactivated. I got call to pay outstanding amount that I had paid 1 week ago. Now who will be responsible for this week bill.
Please arrange to convert number from Airtel to Idea.

    I made an online recharge on my Airtel 3G connection no. [protected] on 17/02/2013 using net-banking (ICICI Bank). Although my account was debited with an amount of Rs. 759, but recharge was unsuccessful.

    I later recharged the number through a vendor with the same amount on 18/02/2013. This time the recharge was successful. Can I please get a refund for my earlier (unconsummated) transaction? The transaction details are mentioned as follows on my bank statement:

      dear sir/madam
      i am the airtel money customer. I had recharges my number for Rs.755 on 9th feb.@ 11.57am. For 3G. Money was debited from my account but recharge was unsuccesful and i got a sms that my debited money ll be credited back within next 3 days, which has not yet been done. While contacting cust services couldnt satisfy me but had lodged a complaint. these people have been contacting me but all in vain. it has been a two weeks time by now.
      I request u sir to look into the matter.

      Rs. 46 have been deducted from my prepaid account about 10 days before without any request for any subscription/extra service. I have thrice talked to customer care (on Jan. 13, Jan.18 & Jan.22). Though I was told that complaint would be addressed within 48 hrs and customer care executive will contact for an sms will be sent by them, but nothing is happening. They do not even honour the registed complaint and every time I had to repeat the story. It is horrible customer care and money is wiped out from account unethically. You are requested to do something to prevent such cheatings..
      airtel has deduct money from my account towards devotional pack from which i have unsubscribed and i have complaint it to the customer care but there was no response .

      From past few days i am getting jokes, quiz etc from 55382. Around 2 Rs are being deducted from my account. I want to unsubscribe from the service. do it urgently..
      Sir i have been waiting for the same since two weeks now. How much more.

        Respected Sir/Madam,

        I was using Airtel Broadband Service till November 2012. In November, the Airtel broadband service was unavailable (5th November 2012 -

        18th November 2012) due to some technical reasons as told to me by Airtel support executives.

        The service was restored on 18th November's night and worked for couple of days. On 24th November 2012, I got an SMS regarding Airtel

        fixedline & broadband service outage. Till, 26th November the service wasn't restored.

        I had written about the unavailability of the service to their support executives, Appellate, and Nodal officers.

        On 26th November 2012 I requested (email) them to deactivate the broadband service.

        On 7th December 2012, I got bill for the period : 05/11/2012 to 04/12/2012 (1,292.14/-)

        I requested them to send me corrected bill (amount based on the number of days the service was available). I didn't get any response. I

        also contacted their support for the same over phone. Whenever their customer support executives called me for the Bill payment, I told

        them to send me corrected Bill and their reply was they will check the records.

        Now they have doubled the amount (2391/-).

        On 8th Feb 2013, I received an email from Collections.[protected]@in.airtel.com which is as follows:

        Dear Sir/Madam,

        Name: Sandeep Paul .

        This is regarding non payment of bills towards the above said account for a net outstanding of Rs.2391 which is not paid from past few

        months. This is to inform you that payment needs to be made on or before 22/02/2013, to avoid further legal proceeding.

        If payment is not made on or before the mentioned date, there will be a legal letter which will be initiated from Lok-Adalat.

        For further clarification, Please feel free to contact Jackline-[protected]

        Please do not reply on this e-mail, for further communication mark a mail to

        I emailed to airtel.[protected]@gmail.com for correction in the billing amount but I didn't get any response.

        On 12 Feb 2013, I called Jackline-[protected] as mentioned in the above email with my concern. She said she would reply to my email but I

        didn't get any response.

        On 19th Feb 2013, I wrote to Airtel Appellate and Nodal officers for correction in my billing amount.

        Today i.e. 20th Feb 2013 I have got a notice from SHIVA & RAWLEY ADVOCATES for the payment within 7 days. If payment is not made, they

        will take legal action.

        Kindly, give me your valuable suggestion.

        Airtel — Call details and improper billing system

        Dear Sir,

        Kindly refer my mails dated 28.10.09 and 30.10.09, for which neither I have received any reply/acknowledgment nor solution to the problem reported.

        Today also I called to customer service care (121) but no satisfactory reply, rather the executive told me that the call details for the current bill has been uploaded, which is wrong.

        According to my plan call rate is Re.1.00 per call but I am being charged @1.20 (see the attachment for previous months call details).

        Further, I paid last bill on 05.10.09 but despite this I have been levied Rs.50/- for delayed payment.

        I once again request to upload my call details immediately to enable us to pay the bill in time.

        Further submitted that in case call details are not uploaded by tomorrow and my previous bill is not corrected (as mentioned above), I will not pay the current bill by due date for which the Company will be solely responsible. This is causing me mental agony.

        GEB — Improper response

        We are the residence o[censored]mbergaon.In our area the GEB Board the employees over there are not responding on the phone calls.they do not resieve it an give a proper answer regarding when the power will come or the wire man also does not come on time for the repairing.So,we request you to please look into the matter.

        Airtel Broadband — Service & Response

        Dear Sir,

        I am and Airtel Broadband customer. I had been pretty happy with their service in Hyderabad and I moved to bangalore in December 2011.

        I wanted broadband services and obviously Airtel Came to my mind. Somehow I am not happy with their service, response and treatment here.

        Time and again I have maintained good relationships with Airtel or any other service provider and followed up, enquired and paid pending bills.

        Here in Bangalore I have two complaints

        1. The connection was given to me after 20 days taking 1500 Rs advance, I needed it urgently but I said nothing much and there was no communication and I had to follow up several times to get it sorted. I kept quiet and took it as first mistake.

        2. Recently I realized they are not sending bills and in between they called me up and told me bill is pending and we are sending the bill when I told them I did not recieve it. I waited for bill and just 3 days back I sent a mail to them to make it clear regarding bill.

        One night I came from office and had to do official work at 10:00 pm, I realized the connection is disconnected and I needed to do the work urgently.
        I called customer care and told them I need connection, if Payment is issue then give me 30 mins connection, If I dont pay take it off but they said they cannot do anything. I told them how can I pay the bill if you are not going to send me the bill , it is not my mistake alone, you are also responsible for the mistake as much I am. Having no choice I walked all the way back to office and resumed my work and sent them a mail how much inconvenience they caused me. They then send me bill and sent a mail that they hope they have resolved the issue. I refuse to pay them anything till they apoligize to me properly and I told them paying is not the problem but they have to take up responsibility for sending late bills and causing me inconvenience and we can sort out legally if required.

        I also told Airtel , I have issues with their service in bangalore, I never had in Hyderabad.

        Obviously I cannot be accused or held responsible for not paying bills if bills are not sent to me and communication is not done before suddenly terminating the connection. Also when I called up customer care, I was ready to pay instantly but they could not do anything then why disconnect all of a sudden without intimation, what is the point in paying when you are caused inconvenience.

        Please advice.

        Airtel Broadband — Billing and Service Issues

        I have airtel connection which was activated in the month of July 2011. I had received bills till November and then I had decided to change the service provider so that i could get better rates. then airtel gave me a better plan and i decided to stay. i was told that the last connection would be disconnected and the new one activated. i have the mail in wiriting and they also ahve confirmed over phoen. i realized that i am paying for two connections and then they said it would be resolved-surprisingly then didnot know that this was going on. i refused to pay for two months , they disconnected the line twice and i shouted to get this activated. i then told them again about the problem and each time they told me that the new bill will have the rectification but again the same thing is happenning. they are harrassing me to pay and sending me messages to pay and also calling in between my work. i think they should be taken to task about the same. and the most important thing there should be someone in kolkata to come and resolve this issue.
        The point is that I am being made a fool of the same thing where they are supposed to follow up. I have multiple connections of Airtel and Vodafone and I don't have a history of payments issues, but why this harrassement.

        I too faced similar problems from Artel.

        I was using the Airtel Broadband for almost 4 years without any single dues.On 30/09/2012 I have vacated my house and moved with my friends as I need to travel to abroad within 2/4 months.
        I have contacted the Airtel customer care and requested for cancellation after clearing the monthly bill of September.After 3/4 days I got a call from Airtel CC asking about the reasons for cancellation and informed the reasons. Upto this point all went well and by 25/10/2012 I got an sms stating that my October bill has been generated. I contacted the Customer care again and I got a response that I have promised the retention agent that I will be continuing with connection. Again I explained the scenarios and they said that they will take care of this issue. After that I had received at least a call from Airtel CC every day from 12/11/2012 asking about the payment. This repeated up to 25/11/2012 after generating the November Bill. Now the unpaid amount is almost double and I was getting 2 calls every day for bill payment. I was explaining the same stories and getting many replies from CC that I promised to continue/I was ready to transfer the connection to somebody else/Migrated to a lower plan etc. Meantime I got a call from a collection agent and he was in front of my old house and asking the payment .I explained all the details again, the he said that he understood the problem and he already got the information from the house owner(Stays in the ground floor) that I had vacated the house on 30/09/2012.
        At last on 30/11/2012 I got an sms that my connection got cancelled on 30/11/2012. From that day onwards I was getting calls from CC for reactivating the connection and they will waive the dues as I am a very ‘Valuable’ Customer for Airtel. Again repeating all the stories to them. Today I got a call from Airtel that they are going to send a legal notice for my dues.
        I searched in google and found that I am not the only one with this type of problems witn Airtel.I think they are doing this to all good customers.
        I have many service request numbers which I used get after each call from CC

        We too faced similar problem with airtel . Making fake bills and robbing money of people is their business . You should join hands with other customers in your area who are victims of airtel and file a criminal case in police and consumer court against them . you shoud also claim compensation from the company for the harrasment you faced .

        Airtel ferozepur road ludhiana branch near verka milk plant are robbers and fraud like this .

Actually m here to inform u tat i had taken a airtel 4G connection in august month n from the day one i wasnt able to use it properly coz the connection was not gettin connected n from the day one i had been giving complaint on this to the customer care more dn 5 to 10 times but not even a executive have come home to solve the problem nor they responded for my complaints dn later i called them n told them to disconnect it as i don wanna continue wit the connection so they told fine n they took the modem n refunded the money of the modem n also told me not to pay the bill incase if i recieve but after a long time like 3 to 4 months they suddenly sent me a bill n i told tat m not suppose to pay as i ve been told to do so n now all of a sudden they ve sent me a legal notice so wat should i do n more over m not in position to attent the court n my airtel 4G no is [protected] n my account no is [protected]n the outstanding amount they ve sent is 1690 so plz help me out in this thank u .....

          This is regarding Airtel 4G connection and unjustified bills for Mobile number [protected] bearing Account number [protected]. I know that there is some outstanding amount pending from my side, but that is not 2480.15/-, the reason why i am saying this, because i could not use your services properly due to bad network connectivity and which is also accepted by your technical team that in my area services/towers were down for more than 25 days. This i have informed to your customer care multiple times, that why i have been asked to pay the amount for the services which i have not used?

          I hope you will understand below points and help in getting this closed as soon as possible:-

          First of all, i never said i am not going to pay the amount. The only point is i am ready to pay the amount for the services which i have used. I hope you are with me on this. The services which i have not used due to Airtel's technical problem, why i have been charged for that?
          Please check my payment history which i have been paying it on regular basis till 17th Jun, The day when i called up your customer care and asked them to temporarily cancel my services since i will out of country and will not be using this for another months. Customer care agreed saying that 150/- will be deducted and then services will be discontinued.
          But, then also i can see, in Jul bill 449.44/- being charged (150/- + some 250/- monthly charges). Why this monthly charges once i have requested for discontinuation of services. Similarly happened for Jul and Aug month they have charged some amount with late fees. Why is this late fees once i have discontinued the services. Discontinuation of services means that i should not be able to use the services.
          Please do all these calculation once again and request you to remove that late fees component and the time period for which your services were down.
          I have called up your customer care to disconnect the services multiple times but this has not been done till date. Which is very disappointing.
          Let me know the final amount what has to be paid from my side, which i am ok to pay. There is no issues at all in that.
          Even i want to get it closed as soon as possible.
          If you want i can forward you the mail chain which i have been exchanging with your Nodal officer.
          Anticipating a positive reply from your side to get it closed please.

            Sir, my self ABHISHEK M B, I am using Airtel sim ([protected]). I am using daily net pack 20MB/2 days, worth of Rs.2. Even the given 20MB is not fully used.. still some memory is left , but today evening they suddenly deducted 75 Rupees.. but the customer care's are not solving my problem.. may be its small amount for them but its really a big amount for me because am student.. Sir i hope you will solve my problem as soon as possible... please help me sir.. i am requesting you..

              We have been using Airtel IP TV and internet services for almost 3.5 years. After the completion of two years the services started giving problems. We have been logging complaints since then and it has been 3 months already. We have been paying the bill on time when even services were not there and as per airtel were ongoing change in the entire setup. Despite writing and escalating the complaints to the appellate team the issue has not got resolved. We are fed up as there is neither TV nor internet facility at home for the last 3 months. We want them to refund our bill of last three months as well as the security that we have paid in the begining and take away there setup box.

              Airtel — Services are not working despite payment

              Hi, I paid the airtel bill at time but it was not updated because their system was down. I have receipt number with me. They disconnected my services because my payment is not reflected in thier system. I suffered loss of services for almost 20days. I provided them payment receipt number many times but its not updated in their systems. Already had three request for the same issue. Now airtel wants me to pay for the time when my services were not working because of their system problem. Please let me know what should I do in this case. Now also they deactivated my services one or another day, Can you please help?

                This is my last resort to seek any solution from Airtel. I got a call from Airtel to convert to Postpaid and somehow I fall for this gimmick, now I submitted all the documents, Paid Rs 250/- on12th or 13th Feb and got the place of residence verified by a visitor on Saturday

                I was told on Saturday that the postpaid sim would start working after switching the sim and calling to 59059. That did not happen, I called and lodged a complain on Tuesday,they said it will be done on Wednesday, i.e today before 7pm. The complain no is 189054

                I got repeated calls from to confirm that the number has been ported to postpaid and yet all of the claims were false, Then i was asked the SIM no which i gave and after 2 hours without solving the problem, they send me a message that is has been solved. Pathetic.

                I again lodged the complain and this time they say that it will be escalated, which they have been saying for 3-4 days

                      Pathetics service of Airtel in prepaid t

                      Its disguting to see airtal guys are relcutant to provide complaint number inspite of having valid reason. Its wrost exp when call center executives disconnect the call when asking for any info or asking for valid reason for not taking complaint. I have seen or exp pathetic service in post paid which now i feel they have in prepaid also. SIM is not activated even after 4 days post giving all the documents. I have called call center on the same and as usaul no proper explantiona and disconnecting the call. Spoke to Mr Pawan call center executvie.

                      I have registered the complaint erlier where they confirmed i will be getting written mail which was confirmed by Nodal Officer. But its been 1 month and no revert

                          I took a SIM card for data and for use in my iPad. I never could use it and I took it for use while travelling .
                          Only bills started coming without heeding to resolve 15 mails and telephonic complaints sent to the company BHARTI AIRTEL. Instead they have started sending legal notice to me and harassing me without addressing my grievance .
                          All mails evoked no positive response and hence I have complained to MR S B MITTAL also.

                          Bharti Broadband Service — Wrong Billing

                          Airtel Broad Band Service at NOIDA-Q-75, sec- 12 ,NOIDA
                          I have been using this service for the last about 2 years.
                          The monthly subscription being Rs 850 + about RS 300 to
                          Rs 400 per month for telephone usage. My monthly bill was
                          around Rs 1200-Rs 1300 which was being paid regularly.
                          I did not get the bill for Jan 2008 so the payment got delayed.
                          The company disabled the services without notice. On enquiry
                          I was informed that a bill for Rs 3333 was pending payment.
                          This is unbelievable, specially when my phone is unserviceable
                          for last 15 days. Either there is a mix up with somobody else's
                          bill or there is definetly a mistake on the part of the billing
                          section. The customer care people are not ready to listen.
                          I have paid Rs 1500 on 20 Feb as interim payment against the
                          disputed bill. My Internet services still remain disabled.
                          On 25.5.2008, it is informed that my bill is debited with Rs.99 for downloading one game. The person, Shiji to whom i have talked could not gave any details regarding the quantum of dowloading i have done or the total time of downloading. She informed that it is recorded that one game is downloaded and an amount of rupees 99 is charged to me.

                          please request the concerned to reverse these charges..

                          Sir, Maine 27th june2008 ko GPRSke liye request ki aur uske bad mujhe message aya ki apki GPRS seva suru kar di gayi hai, uske baad mera net nahi chala aur main bar-bar complaint karta raha aur mujhe har bar yaha asvasan milta raha ki aapki seva 4huors mai suru kar d jayegi . seva suru nahin hone par maine customercare par phone karke GPRS deactivate karne ke liye request ki to mujhe kaha gaya ki aapki seva 4 ghante main deactivate kar di jayegi, Uske baad na to koi bill bheja jisse ki mujhe pata chal pata itna bill kisliye aaya hai aur main mobile par aaye message ke according bill bharta raha .Baad me mujhe patachala ki isme GPRS ka bill bhi aaraha hai
                          For the Airtel Mob. no. [protected] Airtel made fraud billing of GPRS charges of Rs. 3124 in the month of December billing while the user have not made any uses of GPRS in between the given period. The details of the fraud is given below

                          gprs calls are starts from 15 Nov. 08 at 19:35:56 and continued up to 22 Nov.08 20:00:05 ( 8 days for 24 Hrs. while international roaming )

                          During these 8 days (15 Nov.08 to 22 Nov.08) incoming and outgoing calls also made and charged

                          The duration /Volume of the gprs calls made for 8 days is variable but call charge made rs. 4.40 fixed for all calls wheather it is for 05 minuts or for 35 minut.

                          In the month of Dec 10 I got transferred from BBSR to Delhi so I contacted with your cust care to change my connection from post paid to prepaid But he had given a suggestion to pay only Rs499 and you will be connected for two years and u have to pay only the usage not any rental So I agreed and advice him to change the plan Next month I find bill came with Rs 499 rental so I assured that my plan has been changed But after one month when my 2nd bill reached I found once again u have charged Rs 499 Then I stopped payment Now many persons from Airtel had contacted me regularly for payment and listioning to my complaints they are also committing me to wave up the unnecessary charged to me But any body has not done any thing Only they are motivating me to pay the amount without doing nothing in my favour My unnecessary bills are follows Bill No[protected] Rs 465.75 Bill No[protected] Rs737.19 Bill No[protected] Rs 558 and Bill No[protected] Rs 955.81 Pls wave up these amounts and conform me so that I can pay the balance and you are requested to change the same to prepaid

But To my surprise they did not activated till now. Airtel also should think before giving franchise to such inefficeing people.

                              I immediately whent to Aircel where they have completed and activated within 20 minutes of request. Because of Airtel I have lost 4 precious days waiting for my connection.

                              I have also faced same issue, yesterday Aug 14th i went to Hydernagar Airtel Store named Mahalakshmi for micro SIM (to insert into iPhone), instead of cutting old SIM he has given me new SIM (SIM replacement) charged 50/- and mentioned my new SIM will be activated within 2 hrs.

                              They have deactivated my old SIM within one hour and i have been waiting for activate new SIM since last 24 hrs, but no luck. i have called to customer care 121 and 198. they were telling since it is a postpaid connection they can not help and they have given another number to call[protected] we need to dail this number only from postpaid connection, how can i call from post pain connection already they have deactivated my old SIM

                              This is worst experience i have ever faced from Airtel, i dont know why these Airtel guys are giving such false commitment to customers, i have wated one day without SIM either old or new. if i go to direct iphone store they would have cut the SIM and give it to me within 10 mins,

                              I will never take any connections related to Airtel such worst customer service they are having.

                                Dear Sir,

                                I have taken the prepaid card from Airtel Outlet at Mahalakshmi Towers, Dr. Atmaram Estate, Hydernagar On Saturday[protected]. I have submitted my Address Proof, Photo and Paid Rs. 100/-. For Activation. They Promised me to activate with in three days. But till Today (tuesday) they did not activate, when ever i Go to their Outlet they give flase promises that they will actiavate by the end of the day, but the end of the day does not come. When They cant do the simple job I dont know how the Airtel is giving franchise.

                                Immediately I went to AIRCEL and took new card where have activated my mobile with in 20 mts before i furnish the details they activated my number.

                                Airtel learn some commonsense from AIRCEL. And I request not to give Franchise to those who are ineffecient in doing work.

Pulwama of state J&k, as per the new guidlines all the old prepaid nos. were supposed to reactivate against the new documents & by paying rs 50. i completed all my formalities as on monday , 15th march 2010 and i was assured that your no. will be activated within 48 hours ,since it aweek has passed & every time i visited the airtel relationship center they make lame execuses. icould have have switshed to new user or to new service provider but by doing this my business will suffer as this contact number is main one.

                                My concrern is that why they start services without reciving the documents from mobile retail shop keeper and once no becomes operative, the services are discontinued till the submission of document and giving messages to discountinue. In this whole subject where is the fault of subscribers. Subscribers are being punished for some body else fault. Please refine your policy for adding more subscribers and then punishing them by discountuing services for retailers fault, If it not restored immediately, I will take this matter with Consumer Forums

                                    I wanted new airtel DTH service and called the customer care representative to book a new connection. I spoke to Dipesh on feb 18th, 2013 and he colected all my details and sent me an email for the payment. The payment listed all teh collected details and I tried to pay through Internet banking, during payment through Billdesk, the merchannt name is displayed as SHELTRANS, I was not confident with this transaction so I spoke to him again, before this the representative called me nearly 5 times, I mentioned that I am not confident to make the payment as the merchant name is displayed as SHELLTRANS but he assured that they were authorised third party to provide this service. Dipesh called his supervisor Sujith Kumar and both of them assured that I am paying to correct vendor. After which I paid the amount and during the transaction at the end the transaction failed, but the amount has been debited from my bank account.

                                    18/02/2013 BIL/[protected]/To airtel/SHELLTRANS_MI DR INR 1,590.00

                                    I confirmed with my bank that the payment is debited to SHELTRANS. But Dipesh called me and said they has not recevied the payment at all. He said he will call me once the transaction is complete as he mentioned that some times it fails and the amount get credited to them later.

                                    Today[feb 19th 2013, I ahve called the Airtel DTH customer 5 times and everyone who takes teh call mentioned that Dipesh will call me in 10 mins, I have not recevied any call till now.

                                    Please someone look into this and let me know how to get back my money which is debited?

                                    Airtel DTH — No Response after payment for new connection

                                    Hi,

                                    I made a transaction of Rs. 1640 on IVRS to one of an airtel representative (supposed) to buy a new DTH connection with Mega Value pack for 3 months free with set top box.

                                    This is an internet fraud wherein I didn't get any confirmation over the mail of the invoice and there was no call from AIRTEL to install the new connection.

                                    I called up CITIBANK and tried to cancel my credit card transaction of Rs. 1640 to the merchant.

                                    I got the following Merchant Name and Address -

                                    he worst service is being provided by the company. My complaint no 8169936 and after that so many calls being made to the customer service and authorisied dealer in howrah are being kept pending for days altogether. the first complaint lodged on 18may 11 assured that complaint will be resolved by 19 the may. On nonresolving complaint got relodged on 20 may with an assured resolving by 10.30am. again complained and not resolved till now.
                                    the system not to be purchased by any one. none will help in the resolving of problem.

                                    the complete management to be blamed for not managing the system after strating the service in a brader perspective.

                                    i will be filing case againist airtel for the poor service and discontinuation in service even after lodging complaints.

                                    My name is sonu jindal. My custmer id in airtel dth is [protected]. I have 21.60rs plan per day for three connection but now it charge 26.30rs per day from last month. I call many times to customer care for that but after in two minute my call disconnect and i not able to talk them. I want my money back and next time i not want this type issue
                                    On Feb 19th 2013, I was able to reach the representative in my 7th attempt. I spoke to Srinivas who collected all my transaction details and said I will get further details by today[Feb 20th] evening and there after the installation.
                                    Feb 21, 2013, Is anybody hearing this, I have not recevied any response from Airtel Digital TV representatives and no idea about my connection status. Today I have called them twice and it goes to indefinite wait and disconnected automatically. Please help me to get around this.
                                    @vinosthsruthi .. Even i am facing the same problem.. What happened... Is the issue solved or not

                                        My prepaid mobile number got deactivated ([protected]).
                                        I registered a coplient through customer care.They asked me to submit address proof near to the airtel outlet.
                                        So i submitted three times all the proof whatever they asked in the Airtel outlet which is situated near Funworld Bangalore.

                                        Finally they did not avtivate the number and it has been recycled also they did not pay my currecy 250 Rs.

                                        Such a worst experience i got.
                                        Onemore funniest thing is if i go to airtel outlet they say number get activated with in three days then next time i go they say that their customer care guys are playing.Next time i went they say some technical issue.

                                        So how do i get the same number now??

                                        I was using an airtel prepaid number,Kerala ([protected]) since september 2009,i didn't use this number for 2 months and now it is deactivated.I didn't get any intimation regarding this.When i check with the subscriber they said this no is issued to another person,how can they do this with out my permission.Kindly help me to regain this number.
