Sir/Ma'am,
I had this number [protected], i purchased this VIP number in 2009 in Saharanpur (UP west circle) by payment of either 2000/- or 2500/-, exact amount i am unable to recall..it was issued on name of 'Jasbeer Singh Arora', address was '8 raj vihar colony, paper mill road, saharanpur. U.P. (West). After completion of 3months, the number was transformed from postpaid to prepaid.
Now on 1st january 2013 i came to delhi and switched off this number. And on nearby 25th january i realized that the number has been FRAUDULENTLY issued to someone else in dehradun.
when called, the person claimed his name to be 'vishal nanda'. the number was still on our name and we were assured that we will get back the number and a new sim was given to us 10 days back...10 days we were just fooled by airtel executives and number is still not on..today when i contacted customer care they claim that the number is not in our name anymore and is on name of some nanda in dehradun. on your saharanpur centre a person named vineet jain claims that he has nothing in hand and all will be dealth by 'hushiyar singh' in dehradun who never picks our call now and we doubt he is responsible for this fraud and this nanda guy is his relative.
Prima facie it was a police case but we did not think so to go for it, but now if the issue aint solved within 24 hours then i am sorry i will have to go for it. we are enough fooled by you kindly take a serious action immediately.

Airtel fraud — airtel is doing fraud with customers

i am in airtel network right now.
they are deducting balance on their will nearly 30p every half an hour or so.
when called to the customer care they are answering in a lazy manner that they don't know about that.
one guy answer like this " you are using network you must know".
And one lady " kumari" told me that this has been deducted because u r using airtel live. and my phone is nokia 1108. nor gprs supported........ this is true fraud from airtel
somebody should take action for this.`
this is a big fraud troy should take action against this network provider

    This is to complaint that my landline and broadband connection with Airtel no [protected] is not functioning since 12th of january and despite repeated complaints it has not been repaired ,morever bill fro period 15th jan to 15th feb has also been sent without a single day of functioning during this period which is ridiculous to say the least. this is a case of clear mental harassment. kindly look into the matter and provide the remedy.

      i'm using AIRTEL 3g dongle with a poor speed of 7-8 kbps for number ([protected]). My signal strength is good and using in WCDMA network with an airtel 3g pack. Even, several times i have registered my complaint at customer care but no action was taken! speed is too bad that it took 10 minutes to post this complaint only on this site.

      Airtel 3G Usb Modem — poor speed.

      I have purchased 3G usb modem from Airtel relationship center recently.
      I have invested Rs. 4250/- For 3G modem
      & around 500 for data card.
      I have been told that you will get speed around 256 kbps.
      But now I am getting speed which is shown by modem is:-
      maximum-56 to 92kbps (Few minutes in hours o[censored]se)
      Minimum- 0 to 12kbps (maximum time of the day)
      Average- 6kbps (the average speed after use for a hour)
      I advise you not to choose airtel at any cost.
      Anyway i am going to stop using.
      Hi,

      Myself Pradeep N, I had purchased a new USB modem E1731 and number ([protected]) two days before . it has got activated but i see the speed is very low . I had paid Rs. 2000 which includes 655 monthly plan . ( 3G up to 3GB with 7.1 mbps speed) . After installation i am getting speed less than 10 Kbps . This is very bad speed to browse .

      Please help me resolving this issue, I have already logged a complaint . the complaint no . is PGPSC[protected] .

      I am having signal strength 95%, still the speed is very very less . I have tried checking the speed at my home ( Mei layout, bagalagunte, hesaraghatta main road, bangalore -73) and Electronic city phase 1 . both the place i am facing this issue .
      Please find atached screen shot which gives more information.

      Request customer care that this issue is solved ASAP .

        I am Dr.Natabar Panigrahi.I am an existing customer of airtel digital tv with customer id [protected]. First of all my set top box repeatedly getting fault for some times. Even after so many complain the customer care paid less attention. Again my set top box got problem after the warranty period got expired. In the mean while I recharged my account for value sports for one year and paid for HD top-up for 1 yr(45Rs p.m X 12). As my set top box was not proper so an engineer fro airtel came and told to replace the set top box. He himself took 150 for his visiting charge and I gave it by hand. In my account there were 190 rs left. That was deducted and i have been told to pay additional 160 (summing up to 350) as my set top box got replaced. i paid the additional 160 at local airtel office in Balasore. But after 8 months(now in February) my set top box is displaying that my validity is going to end in feb 22nd. When i asked the customer care I got replied that 350 Rs has been deducted from my account for the set top box replacement (though i have paid it by hand). So my HD top up package is going to end in feb 22nd. i can't understand why 350 is deducted twice for one rime set top box replacement .Also each time amount got deducted from my account for any reason is not informed prior to it. No receipt is provided for any transaction also. I request the respective authority to take steps against airtel for this matter.

        Airtel — money deducted without notice

        Respected sir,
        I am a air tel mobil user my number is [protected] todat i.e on 28-5-09 at 6.39 pm i got a message for 64611099 saying that RS 99/- has been deducted from your mobil for downloading JAVA games, sir but i had not download any game aor i didnot ask tham to send the games lindly do justice and see that my amout Rs 99/- to be get back to my account.

        Airtel DTH — Top ups added without any request and money deducted without informing

        I would like to bring in the notice of all consumers and concerned officials that our money is not safe in the Airtel account. These people can deduct any amount of money at any time.

        My customerID is [protected]. I have purchased DTH on 1st Dec 2009, and I chose Economy Package. MTV is part of the Economy Package but I was not receiving the signal so I raised the complaint to Customer Care, they told that my complaint will be resolved within 48 hours. Within 48 hours I was able to receive the MTV signals.

        But to my shock my account is deducted with X amount, when I called Customer Care again and enquired about that X amount, they told that since you are not receiving the MTV signals so on my behalf they have added the MTV top up and deducted the amount from my account and that too without informing me. This is just disgusting that if you were not receiving any channel signal which you are supposed to receive as a part of package, the Airtel technical support will check which top-up have that channel and they will do the top-up blindly. I raised the complaint again and there was no resolution till the time.

        Is this the way the Airtel resolves the technical issues?

        Also. let me tell you that this has happened before also that's why I closely watch my account balance because I know my money is not safe. When I raised the complaint for the first time then I got assurance that this will never happen again and no amount will be deducted without informing me. But this has happened again because they know that I cannot do anything as I have spent big initial amount which is non-refundable and I have to use their service without any choice as I cannot switch to any provider. This is clear case of customer/consumer exploitation.

        Airtel DTH — No Installation of DTH Connection [CustomerID - 3002259291]

        This is Puneet Singhal, customer of Airtel DTH having customer ID – [protected].

        I recently shifted from Hyderabad to Ghaziabad(NCR), so I have to move my airtel DTH connection. Connection was de-installed in Hyderabad satisfactorily. Now, I have placed a request to re-install the connection at my new premise but it is a week now and no progress has been done on this. Moreover, daily my airtel account is getting debited for the service which I am not using.

        On repeated calling to customer care, I always get reply that it will be done tomorrow but that tomorrow has never come till now. It is very disappointing to see this kind of service response from Airtel.

        I am writing in the hope that soon some action will be taken on this because all other means have failed to do so.

        Kindly look into this matter ASAP.
        The complaint is genuine. I am also facing similar problem. In my case PPV (upto 12 movies @ Rs.30-50) per day is being charged. Airtel is thief and nothing else

        AirTel — Deducting money without prior notice

        Airtel has activated Friendz Chat service without asking for my permission and have also deducted rs 30 for it. Not only this they also activated two other services and are charging me for those as well while I am unwilling to use these services and dont want them in the first place leave alone paying for those sick services.

        Airtel — took our stb without proper reason

        Hello,
        Airtel people took away our stb and remote telling that we will change it and give new latest stb in 3 days as its good to change stb every 6 months and they will do that for every customer.a lady called us from the no.[protected].on the fouth day i've called this no. they are not lifting our call.and when i called customer care they are telling i've requested for disconnection so they have taken away our stb in that way.

          I am Airtel postpaid customer with account number as [protected].

          Since July 2012, the bill amount suddenly increased from Rs.700 to 2500. On verification, I found the mobile internet is being fraudulently used. Every time, I receive the bill, I lodge a complaint and cancelled the mobile internet facility but within a day Airtel on their own reinstate without my concurrence. I disabled 3G facility as well as cellular data on my handset expecting on one could misuse the same. But to my surprise, the facility was being misused. From July to DEC, I paid the amount as Airtel shop, advised that they will investigate and refund the excess amount.

          I lodged several complaints to appellate.[protected]@airtel,in but none of my complaints are responded with the exception of holding reply. I also lodged complaints over their 121 toll free line and every time, the responded confirmed having cancelled the internet facility and adding Rs.80 as one time charges. But to my surprise, the internet facility is again reinstated using a bulk order(as confirmed by Airtel employee).

          For the last two months, I stopped paying the bill and Airtel without providing a response to my earlier complaints discontinued the services and started harassing me for the payment. Is there any way, I can drag them to a court. I am sure there may be hundreds of customer facing similar problems.

          Please take up the matter directly with the company

          Airtel Mobile — Excess Billing

          Hi,

          My telephone number was having 1000 (A-A) Local SMS free every month, and 200 Local SMS free every month (to other numbers).

          However I have been offered a discount of only 407.50 on account of 1000 (A-A) local SMS for August bill, and 400.50 on account of the same for September bill. Should it not be 500/- discount (50ps per SMS) ?

          Another problem I noticed is that SMS to Other numbers have been charged in the October bill, whereas I have 200 Local SMS free (for other numbers) option in my plan.

          I was assured that Rs.600/- discount would be applicable every month for Local SMS on my plan, however I seem to have been duped.

          I had also requested for AVS Service Deactivation, however it is still not deactivated and I was promised that Rs. 198 (2 months rental because I requested for the deactivation of Airtel ) will be reversed.

          I tried opening several Service Request numbers with the Customer Support Center, details below:-

          1. 19291492 ==> Raised on 14th November for Deactivation of AVS
          2. 19601049 ==> Raised on 4th December 2008 for Network and Connectivity Issue.
          3. 19609663 ==> Raised on 4th December 2008 for Billing queries(this is closed stating that my number!!)

          Can you please help resolve these problems for me, at the earliest ?

          Hi,

          I am bearing the mobile number [protected] since 2005 on CUG.
          I am regularly making payment every moth without fail, even paid last month(Jan 16th to Feb.17th bill amount). on 28th Feb.2009.
          But ashtonishingly I am receiving the messages from your customer care centres(121) that your unbill amount exeeded Rs 5000.00, then you have barred out going fecility. since then my unbilling amount is iautomatically increasing indiscriminatlyaverage Rs.6000.00/day even if my out going is barred and it was Rs.29850.80 by 4th Mar.2009.and my incoming call fecility also barred from 3rd Mar.2009. I have been informing the customer care guys about my problem but they simply saying that I have to wait until the bill processed.

            I have requested thrice to get my landline Phone number[protected] to be disconnected but till date the same is not disconnected till date. They harras me every time when i call for the status. The first complaint was logged on 1st Sep 2012 vide request number 21218638 for the disconnection then again on 12 Sep 2012 vide request Number 21809114 but till date the same was not disconnected.

            Now when i received the call from your office they said that i asked the executive to retain the service but i have never asked this to do. So get it disconnected at the earliest as i am fed up of this bad service

            I have raised the disconnection request only due to the reason that my phone is not working properly & after a lot of complaints this does not resolved. I am paying the bill for services which i have not used. Also the phone is used by someone else due to cross connection.

            Even after that your executive Tania called me from number [protected] & said me to settle the account for Rs 1500 on 9/2/2013 @ 10.43 am. Even after i have used the services still i agree to pay that amount & she said she will send the executive on 16/2/2013 with NOC but on 16/2/2013 she again called me & said that i have to pay 2300 now. Then when i tell him that earlier you said me that i have to pay Rs 1500 she said that its our company senior person who says that you have to pay RS 2300. When i tell her that i will pay only Rs 1500 as i have not used the connection but still i am paying that then she has used the abusive language & told me that u have to pay that amount otherwise we called each number you called & tell them you are begger & not paying us the amount for the connection used.

            Is this the way to deal with the customer. I am using the Idea connection since 2002 & i have not any problem with that company but this is the worst experience that i have with Airtel.

            Get it resolved at the earliest

            Airtel — find landline number

            can anyone tell me what is the directory inquiry number of airtel in maharashtra, nasik.
            or else how can i find the landline number of friend just by knowing the name.

            Airtel — Complaint still not Processed

            Res Sir,
            My cell no [protected] (prepaid) was in Friends-1 plan. But on 2 nov 2009 some one whom i do not know changed the plan to Freedom 1 sec pulse plan but recharging it with 64 rs.Also when this person did recharge on my no (i do not know about the whereabouts of this person) i did not receive any sms about it. But i did not recharge it, i would like to make it loud and clear. Even i knew about this change in my plan only on 4-5 nov night when i lost 40 rs as a call deduction that i made to an airtel no. Then i immediately called on 121 where they told me that there was a recharge on 2 nov 2009 at 7:20 pm on my no for freedaom plan and the transaction id being[protected] and amount being 64 rs. But i did not do this recharge and i made them aware of it too during this call on 121. they told me to go to Airtel Relationship centre in the morning of 5 nov. I wen on to the Airtel office on 5 nov and booked a compliant regarding this on 999 (Hotline no) at 10:10 am the complaint no being[protected] and the executive incharge was Mr. Pandurang Samant and he told mt wait for next 24 hrs for the change in plan. But this wait got longer. Twice again i called up at 121 regarding the status of my complaint and they all told me to wait for 48 hrs. Still no trace of my complaint being processed and my plan being changed to my earlier old plan i.e. Friends 1 plan. I would like to make it again clear that i did not do this recharge and why willl i take pains to undergo this tension if i would hv done this recharge. I lost my 40 rs as well my plan got changed. I do not want this plan . I only want my old Friends1 plan back with as it is condition of that earlier plan. Please it is a humble request to see into this matter.
            Now i got a resolution from Airtel after writing to them Via email at least 8 times and I can tell you all something seriously...they just beat about the bush attempting to solve the problem and yes sometimes they do get you a resolution but after u have been inconvenienced a lot. They just keep complaints pending way to long. My compliant took 15 days ...the matter was really very simple..what else can i say.They actually need you to spoon-feed the problem and the solution. Most frustrating.

                i got a call from [protected] saying that he is speaking from airtel head office claiming that i won 25 lakhs........he gave me my sim number which he already knows.......he told me to switch off the mobile and confirm the number.......i checked the number and it was the same.......i dont know how he managed to get that number.......he told me to give my account number and recharge my airtel number with amount of Rs.250 which i refused.........pls look into the matter seriously something seriously is going on .........pls rply asap

                    Bharti Airtel Limited — New Connection cancellation/refund

                    We had raised a request for new connection in March for Broadband for which the Sales Executive got the form filled the same day and took advance of Rs 500/-.
                    The same evening, we decided to shift our connection from Delhi([protected]) to Gurgaon and lodged the request to Cancel the new connection request. We got the confirmation call and were also advised that we'll be refunded Rs 500/-.
                    After following up, our Delhi no got shifted to Gurgaon([protected]) which we started using and also paid the bill but to our amazement got to know that the Delhi no is still running and bills are being generated month on month. We have called their helpline nos for God knows how many times, got the confirmation calls that the Delhi no HAS BEEN DISCONNECTED but even as of today, after more than 2 months, we are still getting the Bills for the Delhi number.--Airtel complaint # 4579918.
                    Now to add to our horror, we get a bill of Rs 48 on 26th May against a totally unknown number ([protected]). When we call up the helpline we get to know that this number was activated for 1 month and hence the bill with the adjustment of amount that we've already paid at the time of filling up the form.(nobody had called us for installation and we were told that we'll be refunded the advance paid).--Airtel complaint #[protected]

                    It is not resolved. I am still getting SMS on the payment due foe[protected]. I am getting calls on "why do you want to disconnect get it transfered" This is as latest as yesterday.

                    It is very surprising that the number is already transfered and i have paid bills for couple of months. How Strange!!. Also 500 Rs. has not been refunded neither there is any news on on the 48 Rs. Bill

                      One of your executive named PRIYA ([protected]) who works at Begumpet office c-block 8thfloor gave me a waver of Rs.2000/- from a bill amount of Rs.5000/- as of our request and was reconnected, the disconnected fixed line cum broad band after the payment of Rs.2000/-. After few days it was again disconnected and the another executive called us for the payment of Rs.2000/-( which was wavered). I had informed her about the waver matter, she clarified it and reconnected the broad band cum fixed line.Again now it has been disconnected for the same reason. Is this the way you provide service to the people? You please find it out the permanent solution for this problem by making necessary clarifications and reconnect our service as soon as possible

                          AirTel — unwanted deduction of balance from account

                          I got a pop up[ on my screen stating the subscribe for hinduism from airtel despite of being registered my number in do not disturb list of airtel through airtel website.
                          There was a field for responce and I did not responded to it yet I got a message that rs 10 have been deducted from your account for subscribing to hinduism.
                          I want to register a complaint with airtel that please stop these kind of activities.
                          this is a frequent problem being faced by me and have been charged several times in the same way but I thought its ok that it may be a system problem. but now it is a limit.

                              I used Airtel Broadband (account Number [protected] and phone number [protected].) for several months in Bangalore.
                              I was out of station for two months and couldn't able to pay the bill , hence the line disconnected in end of December 2011
                              After disconnection also they keep on sending bills through my email. In the month of April I got one e-mail from Collections.[protected]@in.airtel.com , Asking me to pay an outstanding amount of Rs. 4908.00
                              I got one call from customer care asking me to pay whole amount when I told her that I have not used after December as line was disconnected. Finally she told that if I will pay Rs.4000.00 then the matter will settled and I will receive one settlement statement.I paid 4000 through cheque on May 9, 2012 and I got one receipt No.[protected].
                              I followed up customer care through e-mails and phone calls for settlement statement but I didn't got any reply on that matter

                              On January 29th I got one call from a number [protected], person claiming that he is lawyer in Delhi District Court saying that there is a case registered against my name in Delhi by Airtel. If I want to close the case then within one hour I have to pay the due amount , I didn't respond to that call again he called me on that day evening and asked if I paid or not if not I have to come to Delhi and pay the penalty of Rs.24000 and/or legal action.

                              Again on yesterday i.e. 11th Feb I got a call from same number asking to make the payment before 5 pm today , else legal action will be taken against case number 12116/2013 .
                              Today morning I got call from some other number.[protected] ( Claiming Adv Arjun of Delhi dist. Court) and telling the same thing

                              Why should I pay more even after I have paid more for unused usage.
                              Any help with this regard to close this matter would be highly appreciated.
                              Please advice and help.
                              Calls/threats such as this causes immense stress to customers.

                                  I am Priya Tadas,regular user of air-tel and my mobile no. is [protected].
                                  I have faced issue of auto-downloading of Value Pack four times in January month and charges for each downloading was Rs.99. First time I ignore the deduction but when second time it happened I called 121(customer care) and requested to deactivate the value pack as well as to refund the whole amount and they refunded total amount (Rs.99) for second time. After this incidence, the same history repeated for each week in January month but when I called the customer care(after third time reduction) they told me that they couldn't refund the amount although I told them that they had already refunded the amount for second time.
                                  I would like to mention that after 1st deduction I was pretty much careful while using internet on mobile and I am damn sure that I didn't click on any link.
                                  Now I have changed my plan to postpaid but its my right to get my money back as its not a small amount for me. So Team, I request you all please tell me what should I do to refund the cash (viz, Rs. 297).
                                  Please do the needful.

                                  Airtel Mobile — regarding refunding & advance charges

                                  Hi,
                                  I changed my number from prepaid to postpaid in airtel, at the time of conversion i was having balance in prepaid around 300/-Rs. which was told to me that it will be adjusted in the first month billing, but till date there is no adjustment & no response from airtel, i have sent so many complains but it is of no use, they don`t even care about responding at both customer care & there outlets.
                                  & one new thing they told me that whenever I use any VAS, they take the rent in advance i.e, in the first month i hav to pay double the amt. of VAS and it will remain with them untill I stop the services.
                                  What should I do???

                                    AirTel — Regarding Offer SMS

                                    My contact no. is [protected]. I got an sms form Airtel that if i recharge by the balance ammount of RS 42/- my STD call rates will be reduced to 0.50 p/min and Local will be reduced to 0.40 p/min. I recharge my mobile as soon as i get sms with transaction id [protected] but i didn't get those facilities later i logged a complaint with complain ref. no is: [protected]. But no any action is taken yet and its been about 4 days. Please do something these mobile service provider really makes fool the customer by sending such smses and making pool of money.
                                    please solve my problem.no return fefund airtel.

                                      I took datacard connection 4-5 months back. As per information by company executive and offer document signed am supposed to get Rs150 pm discount on bill amount. For 1st month bill i did not get any -discount and hopefully Dec-12 or late Nov onwards am not using the service. The SIM number is -[protected]H1-WD. When they called me for payment of due amount Rs950, asked customer care to stop the service and credit Rs150 which is due to me. But they did not do and now company is threatening me and asking to pay penalty of roughly Rs2000 extra for service...One month bill due is there which i agree but not more than that...Now company is telling we will inform police and threating me ....due to above dispute i did not pay amount to company....please help me ....

Till now sim is not active after several follow and visiting airtel store, they are proving reason that there is documentation issue, when i asked for returning my money if the sim is not getting active they are saying no. Not even returning my money, wasted lot of time with them but no response....

                                        AirTel — Sim is not active

                                        I have purchased an airtel sim from having no-[protected] on 22oct 2010, but till no the sim is not active though their verification is complete. This is too late and i am not really pleased with this kind of service.please look in to this matter and do the needful, other wise i have to quit to use this service.this is really harshing the customers.
