I Submitted request for MNP On 22nd Jan From Vodafone and connection is disconnected from 29th of Jan.

Since then activation of my number ([protected]) is not yet been done, Although executives being very help full from Mathikere ARC.

They explained to me about some mess up with back end process and MR. Prathik is the person they coordinating with.

They activated a invalid SIM number which is never provided to me and SIM provided to me was never activated.

When ever we call to raise complaint on 198 or 121 executive also have been so negligable to respond and requested me to Dail 59059 from the SIM provided to me.

How can one dail any number (except 911) when SIM is not registered and no network available?

They never lodged a complaint also for this whole mess up they have done.

I am into real troublesome situation as i have been using this number for more then 8 years and all my banking and other registration is done with this number. My day to day transaction has almost stalled, as its been more then 15 days from connection has been deactivated. Hence loosing this number is more then critical for me.

Request your kind intervention and help me to get same number activated back on AIRTEL Services.

Airtel — After 4 days sim card is not registered.

I had bought new sim card post paid for 199 plan on Tuesday 11/03/2008. though the varification has been done still now the sim Card is showing failed after inserting in the mobile.

Airtel — offer not yet activated even after 4 days

I'm athira, Ive charged my Airtel Sim for the offer of Rs 44 for getting 10 PS offer to 5 Airtel numbers. i had send the message for activation on 2nd September at 5:11pm. its supposed to be activated within 48 hrs but it has not yet being activated... i had called customer care in Kerala for 6 times but they r always telling to call after 6hrs 7hrs ... I'm not satisfied. my whole family members r using AIRTEL. the response from the customer care is not satisfactory. when will my Sim be activated (when the offer is over????)

Airtel — limited mess

i just only recharged a mess booster for my mobile for an rs of 50.for three months now the network suddenly saying that only limited sms u can send......and i have so much of problem in that please clear that problem and they were charging rs 1 for one sms........please get me a right solution for it as soon as possible............

    This is to inform you that i am lodging complaint regarding my phone number [protected] . i am using 26rs sms pack in which there is 75 sms/day.. but for every message i send i am getting charged 1rs.. when i contacted CC they continuously telling me that there is technical problem so this facility is not activated in your phone. i also contacted the customer care continuously but no satisfaction till now.

      My airtel mobile number is [protected]. from this no. On date 24th jan. 2013 I had requested to port out from airtel because of high calling rate, after that i received a call from airtel executive, that they will slash down the calling charges if i would cancel the port request, he told me the call rate would be as follow: airtel to airtel local all calls- 1paisa/6sec. airtel to other all calls 1paisa/2sec., this plan is for 6months, and there will be no any rental for 1st month, afterwords 1rupees will be rental per day.
      but i didnt received any of the plan above, i have lodge a complaints 3-4times at airtel care, but still problem persist, and now they are also telling i cant be able to port out to any other operators for next 90days
      pls help

        My no [protected], i have been using this no past 4 years in Docomo and
        Ported to Airtel in the month of june-2012 air tel showroom in moosape hyderabad..

        Have given my id proof ,pan card voter id and photo two copies ,
        but in the month of November i got message saying to submit my id proof once
        again, while the same proof was given.in that time my problem clear and[protected] with out intimation my services is stopped said to re submit, so have submitted the same in 25th of jan-2013 in personal
        to that begum pet showroom, but my service got disconnected incoming calls the but till date no response from any of them.
        Can u Please let me know what is happening, if not please release my no so that
        i will change to any other network..

        Airtel Prepaid — Stopped Incoming Calls

        Mine is Mobile No. [protected], after using this no. for last 2 months just got a message from Airtel of non-submission of documents and requiring me to do.. I did (although Re-submission) after a week/two I again notified that and I replied that I have submitted for twice the same.. But they stopped incoming calls (perhaps a month back).. I contacted them, re-re-submitted the docs.. but no response is there.. and I am totally ignored..

        what should I do.. the No. was spread out .. I would have been missing numerous calls...

        I`am not getting any of my incoming calls not even outgoing calls not even to customer care are happening ,not even balance inquiry is working whats the problem. i[censored] can solve it do it or i have to change all of my connection & services with u no. is [protected] , [protected] , [protected] & [protected] and i`am serious about it.

          Post Paid — postpaid bill

          Dear sir/ madam
          i need detail about my bill .No-[protected] outgoing calls full details. i recive wrong statment from ur customar care departments. please send me detail about my out going calls in my house address.

          Postpaid Connection — Non receipt of post paid bill

          I have converted my airtel connection no.[protected] to post paid w.e.f August, 2008. My customer A/C no. is [protected]. However, I have not received any bill from airtel for the month of Aug-Sept, 08. I have been paying the bill amount on the basis of message I receive through mobile. This has been the case for the second month too i.e. Sept-Oct, 08. The first months' bill of Rs.675.00 was paid on 22.09.2008 & second months' bill of Rs.550.00 was paid on 21.10.2008.

          It may be noted that in absence of original bill I am not able to receive the reimbursement from my office as they are not agrreable to reimburse the same simply on the basis of CASH RECEIPT which is available with me. Kindly ensure despatch of bill to my recorded mailing address and favour me by way of sending the earlier two bills against which payment has already been made by me.

          Post Paid — NON RECEIPT OF BILL

          I am not receiving any bills since 4 months against connection no [protected] and [protected] (Seema Saraf). Only on the basis of message i have paid for bills. Please send me login name and password for the above SIM Nos which I forgot. Also ensure that no late fees is charged for the month of October for above two connections.

          AirTel — non-receipt of postpaid bill

          We regret to note that the bills for the following Airtel Mobile phones for March & April 2009 are yet to be received by us. The mobiles are obtained under CUG for Axis Bank Ltd, South Zonal Internal Audit Office, Chennai.

          Please note to take immediate action for sending the bills, as the officials are on Mobile duty pan India. Please also ensure that any interruption in your services to the above phone numbers, for the delay on your side, should not place our officials to any type of inconvenience.

          The above mail was sent on 8.5.09 after following up with the firm for over ten days on mobile.

          It seems no body in airtel cares for the customers.

          yey I have not got any airtel bill neitheir at my residential address nor on mail id.
          Its extreem bad experience on corporate level.

            Dear Sir/Mam,
            I had applied for conversion of my no. [protected] from Prepaid to Postpaid on 30/1/2013. I had been accordingly given a new sim and asked to wait until the verification of details was complete which would be done in the consequent days.
            Its been 2 weeks now, and even after all the verification is complete I have no clue as to what is the status of my mobile number conversion status. Also, there has been no help offered on the customer care or from the Airtel Relationship Centre from where I got the new sim for postpaid service. All i get to hear is to wait since there is some issue with conversion.
            I wish this query to be solved within next 24 hrs else I might have to drag Airtel to Consumer Court for harassment and non fulfillment of the obligation after I have paid Rs. 300 for this conversion.

              My number is [protected] i am activated this service many to years
              I receive so many promotional SMS.
              I have activated DND Services so many times.
              But it never worked.
              I receive SMS names as AD650022####551551### flash msg etc.
              I have asked Airtel Customer Care but they never listen instead they always speak in attitude.
              Sometime they disconnect the call when they put my call on hold.
              I don't know why they do this. They have disconnected my call so many times.
              and about DND, it never worked.

              Please take a serious action, or if this website is just to earn money from ad then shut it down.
              because I have complained on this website before also but no action was took.

                My name is Madhavakrishnan. Working for a corporate and tried to port (MNP) 2 of my postpaid services from another network. The numbers [protected]/[protected]. For both numbers application given on 23/1/2013.

                [protected]: Processed after 3 verifications (home, work, tele). After activating the number (post tele verification) I found that the SIM I got from Airtel is not working. I contacted multiple times to the retailer (Maxell Associates Ph#[protected] from whom I got the SIM. They have their representatives inside our office locations to help our corporate employees. It has been 3 days now and no sincere attempt was made to get my phone working. Their manager ([protected]) always tells me that he will call me back which never happened till now. The call to Airtel customer care is a big disappointment too that they are not ready to help but kept saying to go to the retailer.

                [protected]: This one is even more interesting. Airtel backend guys goofed up my application and pended my application saying documents incomplete for a long time. You wonder how one application was processed (the above one) and another is missing documents. By the time they sorted out the issues the validity of the Porting code is expired. I have informed them about the expiry many times over the call but they went ahead and submitted the request for porting to the current provider. After 5 days they rejected the request promptly.

                The issues in any process, while they are bad, is acceptable. But the utter disrespect to the "customer's grievances and the inconvenices" is what hurt me most. Its been more than 3 weeks now since I gave my applications but nothing happened for me to cheer about. If a corporate customer who got the service from their office location itself faces these many issues I wonder how a general customer sort these kind of issue out.

                  AirTel — Balance Problem

                  Many times the balance get cut and a msg comes "Thanks for downloading Animation, Games..etc..etc". I hav complained many times in the Airtel Customer Care department but the say they cant do anything about it. and many times they even disconnect my call after listening my complaint. I dnt knw what to do. Kindly help me..till now all total Rs 80 got deducted.

                  my balance is dedacted, which i never used you are told me that i am activated game culb, but i never do so. my balance about 30 rs had dedacted.plz return my balance.
                  once i recharged Rs5 net pack but the balance was cut with Rs40 . this your company is working . in what status . my Rs40 went to hell .whwt shall i do
                  i have recently activated my airtel 3g prepaid sim and should have Rs 60 talk value...but the are showing balance as Rs 0.plz refund the money.

                    I am working in Saudi Arabia and frequently visit India as well because my family residing in India. For convenient I use my airtel sim within India to communicate with my family. When I return back to Saudi I just use normal phone which has no GPS or 3G services, because reason behind this to keep active I lose 3 Sims previously for not keeping the sim in active mode and I lose currency in the sim and I face so many problems because of loosing those sim specially numbers registered with the bank account.
                    Now my problem is I lose all the currency around 280 Rs without calling or sending the sms. I don’t know the reason behind that, are they deduct money for receiving sms, I receive missed calls from India as well is it chargeable? Is there any roaming charges applied for put the sim in active mode?
                    Can anybody help me or answer this

                        I had placed a disconnection request for my airtel broadband connection (Ph# [protected] A/c#[protected]. I was asked to clear out all the outstanding dues. I did so. Infact, before making the payment at the Airtel Outlet, I called up airtel customer care twice and even confirmed @ the outlet that how much amount am I supposed to pay off. I asked them for the confirmation repeatedly. I was told i ONLY need to clear out the outstanding bill and i wont have to incur ANY other expenses. I confirmed again, that please let me know if there are any other expenses, I will clear them out upfront. Now, here I am. After one month. Received another bill, amount Rs 217. On calling the customer care I was told that this is the monthly rental for a week, duration that it takes for the disconnection. Inspite of CONFIRMING IT N NUMBER OF TIMES, here is a bill COMPLETELY unexpected. Airtel guys are JUST not ready to do anything about it.

                        The Airtel executive who came to pick the instrument said u can keep the instrument or we can take it and sell it off somewhere for Rs. 500. As i have moved out of that accommodation, the new tenants did not agree to this unless they were not given a receipt or challan for the same.

                        So basically, inspite of wanting the instrument to be taken away, Airtel hasnt taken it away yet. And INSPITE of confirming the outstanding dues, I was informed about the same. AND NOW, AS PER THEIR WHIMS N FANCIES, THEY EXPECT ME TO CLEAR OUT ALL THE OUTSTANDING DUES ONCE AGAIN.

                        Now, on their part of cooperation, they say now if you will cooperate "by paying off the dues of Rs 217", we will cooperate by providing you an NOC. This, I assume, is definitely not cooperation but the normal protocol.

                        I DO NOT UNDERSTAND WHY an upfront and honest information cant be provided by AIRTEL. For their mistakes, we are supposed to run to the outlets again and again. A client is going forward, calling again and again to confirm the dues, pays off the amount that's told to her and STILL they think we are not cooperating with THEM.

                        Me and my friend, two o[censored]s were sharing the connection, both have gotten married, cleared out ALL the outstanding dues, NOW, AGAIN A SURPRISE. Me, My friend, New tenant, noone is using the connection now. Who will pay off these expenses now (because while clearing out the dues, payments were made as told)?

                        Doesn't anybody's time or effort matters AT ALL TO THEM? DO THEY EXPECT AN ENDLESS COOPERATION FROM US WITHOUT REALIZING THEIR FLAWS? They have loopholes in their own system (no information about the 1 week's charges, airtel executives demanding to sell of the instrument somewhere without providing a challan/receipt), YET they are not ready to do anything about it or rather cooperate by following the usual protocol and by overlooking their mistakes.

                        Please help me in clearing out this issue and in getting an NOC.

                        Airtel — calling for dues

                        I have a post paid mobile connection since last three years with a good payment track. From last two or three months they are harrashing me by calling again and again to pay the dues before due date.
                        I m very sorry to say that I could not get my salary from last three months. But I have paid all the previous dues in time except last months dues of Rs.594/-
                        they are calling me in very odd hours, generally when i m driving for office or come back. their languages are ruthless. I have already complainted to their Nodal Officer but no result found yet.

                        Airtel — will the settlement be done?

                        Hi,
                        I have changed from Airtel postpaid to prepaid on jan9th. I was told that i had to pay all the unbilled amount without discounts. Upon asking about the deposit, i was told that the discounts and the deposit will be settled in next bill. My online account is no more there, I haven't received any bill settlement to my e-mail. Upon contacting customer care of airtel they say, it doesn't come under their duty and i have to contact the Airtel office where i got it converted.(Domlur). Even on working days there is no answer to the phone.
                        It is whose responsibility to ensure my account settlement is done?Whom to contact?

                        Airtel Broadband — Ask for disconnection still not happen

                        I have broadband connection no.[protected] which i hv already informed thru mail & thru phone also to the customer care([protected]@airtel.in) in november 16th 2010 ref no. BAL|Qrc2226102(given by airtel) that disconnect my connection and dont want to continue and i cleared my all bills when i recived but in Feb 2011 again I recived bill on my mail id that this is the bill of january 2011. If I already informed for discontinue why they are sending bills.
                        Well, I received a call from Mr Sumit, airtel presence team. Well.. We came to a conclusion, that an airtel executive shall call me and collect the remaining dues from me. However, Its been more than a week now and I have not been contacted by airtel. Now, on 28th the current billing cycle ends. And now, since the dues are not clear, will i be presented another bill for this month?

                        What's going on? Was the solution just for namesake?

                          Im Geethapriya, My mobile number is [protected]. Im using airtel network for past three years. Last year i 've purchased a mobile and activated 3G in my mobile which was free for 3 months time since activation. But the Airtel had provided me only two months free internet services and added internet chages for the 3rd month in the bill. I have immdiately mailed a compliaint to customerserice for waiver of the internet charges added for the 3rd month. They have assured over phone for the waiver but dint not respond in mail. Fed up with the issue, with mental agony i have lodged a complaint in consumer court and recived a call 4 months back from Mr Alexander, Legal department, Airtel and was asked to settle the remaining dues Rs.3000/- as OTS and he has assured me to send a closure of the account with an agreement copy. On his request, we have paid Rs.3000/- immediately. But Mr. Alexander did not send any mail. Presuming that the account was closed, i have changed the network. But iam receving monthly bill with huge bill amount for non usage. You can verify the bill, i have not used the network at all. Today im getting calls from legal department, Airtel. Few people are using harsh words, abusing a professional like me to pay the money. This leads to mental agony and pressure.

                          Iam fed up with the issue. I cant pay penny more to this cheaters. Let the network do what ever they want. I only want my account to be closed. Iam consulting my advocate for legal action against those who tortured me. Alexander, Johnson, a lady from this number [protected] and Airtel.

                          Airtel — Terribly Non Professionals

                          I have a couple of AirTel post paid connections, plus a pre paid one. These people have shabby, very limited, far flung, and badly equipped offices even in a state capital. You have to commute long for making your payments. For the third time they have disconnected my services on non payment of very minor dues (less than Rs. 500.00) which had in fact been deposited much before the due date. They have recently closed one of their local office, where lots of cheques are reported to be lying on their drop boxes, which, unfortunately they do not seem to bother. More than a couple of years back, I had applied for an AirTel broadband connection, which, has still not been made available to me, even after depositing the requisite amount. Ther's still more bitter experience with this servive provider. Prior to leaving station for a week, I paid Rs.500.00 ( a security deposit/activation fee applicable earlier) towards roaming charges, filled an application form, but forgot to take the reciept. The roaming never got activated and after returning back home I was curtly told that the roaming could not be activated as I had not paid Rs. 500.00. Once I paid my bills via Credit card and again got into trouble.
                          My sincere advice - Go for a better service.

                          I am one Mr Senadheera who works as a lecturer in sri Lanka and I was using Airtel Broadband package and there was a problem due to signal.I made a complaint but it was not Ok. however One of your employee has given me (19th September'2011) a call today and at that moment I was driving and asked him to call me later but he used some harsh words talked like an uneducated person.Is this the way that you use to treat your cutomer? I was very upset the way he(male) talks , he gave me the call from the number[protected] at 3.02 p.m. I am a MBA holder at Sri J'pura university and reading for my PHD. I was busy and couldn't pay the bill. If you talk like this to customers it will damage the image of the company.I haven't seen any other organization talk like this to a cutomer.please be kind enough to take an action regarding the relevant party.

                            I am using airtel money account by the name of Araj Agarwal, mobile number [protected], balance is 500 but it is blocked by company as saying that there are two accounts by one name...
                            i am telling him that when i am registering online to account [protected] mobile number by filling form then the message shows invalid mobile number..then i leave this and register other mobile number [protected] and this get registered..now the company saying that [protected] also registered....
                            now it not activating my account..i am saying that please deactivate [protected] aitel money account...and continue my [protected]...
                            please take an action on this..

                              This is in regards to the complaint against Airtel DTH services. My DTH Account no is [protected]. I stopped viewing Airtel DTH from September 2012. As I did not recharge my account got deactivated and in January 2013 I got a call from Airtel customer care that If I recharge for 6 months I will get 6 months free and they say its Republic day offer and should recharge on or before Jan 26 2013. It means I can view for 12 months by paying for 6 months. I Called up 12150 on Jan 26 2013 evening to get confirmation whether the offer is true and whether I am eligible for this offer. Customer care guys confirmed that offer is true and I should recharge with exactly Rs. 2718. if I pay more or less than this amount I am not eligible for this offer. So I paid 2718 through my credit card. Now on the next day I got confirmation that my account is activated and is valid till Sep 16 2013. Now as per their promise I should get the validity date until Jan 26 2014. Thought of wrong update and raised request against this to get the correction in the expiry dates. Now Airtel says I am not eligible for the offer and they say sorry for the wrong communication. But will sorry pay me my money back. Please provide justice on this. These Airtel people record the conversations and they know each and everything but they do not provide perfect resolution.

                              i want to know that ,is it a scam or scheme? I want this complain to be registered for future.
                              You recharge with rs.2718 and they added cash back of rs.1054 into your account.
                              You recharge with rs.2718 and they added cash back of rs.1359 in to your account.The actual offer is 50% cash back on your recharge amount.The 6 months free for 6 months recharge is not applicable for high monthly rental plans.
                              Could you tell me the status of this complaint ? Has it been resolved ? I too recently got a call from Airtel telling I was eligible for the 6 months recharge + 5 months free and opted for it . In my case I have opted for the 6 months pack costing 350 pm .What should the account validity hold and when will the extra 5 months be credited to my account ..

                                  We Are Using Air-tel Land-line Connection With Internet Service. We Were Facing Troubles In Internet Connection From A Very Long Time And For That We Have Complained Them So Many Times.Many Of The Service Providers Visited Our Place And Were Unable To Clear The Issue. Just For Feedback We Got A Call From Air-tel And We Asked Them If You Are Not Able To Resolve The Problem Please Disconnect Our Internet Connection Because The Connection Sometimes It Works & Sometimes It Not.So Rather Getting The Problem Resolved They Disconnected Our Connection.

                                  After That For Re-connection We Have Called More Than 100Times & Emails Them So Many Times But Every Time We Get New Dates & Times But There Is ZERO Results.We Are Been Fighting With Them Since Two Months For Re connection But They Are Unable To Reconnect The Connection.

                                  This How India"s Biggest Telecom Service Provider Works.Its Really Sham full For The Company.

                                    1.At present Iam operating Airtel number [protected].I have a few greviences which
                                    have caused me immense hardship and harrasement.Iam a serving Indian Army officer
                                    posted in New Delhi.A few details before I address the main issues:-

                                    (a) AirtelNumber :[protected]
                                    (b) Type : Post paid
                                    (c) Plan : Rs 249 monthly charges
                                    (d) Data Plan: Rs 99 (1 GB data free therafter 10 p per 10 KB)
                                    (e) Bill Ceiling Limit: Rs 1300/-

                                    2.Sequence of events leading to the present case:

                                    (a) On 24 Jan my data service was disabled (confirmed by yout tech
                                    representatives).
                                    (b) On 27/28 Jan all my outgoing voice services were disabled.
                                    On 24 Jan my data service was disabled (confirmed by yout tech
                                    representatives).
                                    (b) On 27/28 Jan all my outgoing voice services were disabled.

                                    3.The observations and greviences are as follows:

                                    (a) Serious case of fraud is occuring at your end.My billing is generated
                                    on the 08 of every month.On the day of disabling my data services the tech
                                    represenatatives confirmed to me on the 25th of Jan that my usage was 1088MB.
                                    (b) On 29th Jan your customer care confirmed that my usage is 1173 MB.
                                    (c) E Mail received to me that my data usage is 1168 MB after 25 th Jan
                                    from time to time.
                                    (d) The fraud is that someone in your company is utilising my data account
                                    as on the day of disabling by you my data usage was 1088 MB whereas on 29 th it
                                    was 1173.How is this possible i fail to understand.It seems someone is hoodwinking the system thinking that the customers are fools.
                                    (e) Your customer centre executives where unable to explain this and promised
                                    me that a senior management individual would redress my grevience.NOBODY even bothered
                                    tocalll me up. I had brought out these facts that the data usage reflected is wrong
                                    as one can check the usage of my previous months and compare it with jan-feb 13 usage.
                                    (f) The voice service cancelled which has caused me tremendous hardship.

                                    4.At present Iam posted in the Signals Directorate which is a part of the Army Headquarters.
                                    By This poor service to a serving soldier wherein your company had advertised to the
                                    entire world that AIRTEL cares for the armed forces but the fact is you never DO which is
                                    evident from the poor response rendered to an officer in the Indian Army. The mental harassment
                                    and agony caused has tarnished my image and made a mockery of the system.Asiam actively
                                    in all communication matters for the ARMY with the Industry ,my self-example in this case
                                    makes me discourage all MoU with the industry in general.

                                    5. I hope you take cognizance of the above mentioned case and give me a suitable feedback.

                                      There has been persistent every month issue with Data services provided on my Airtel number[protected]. Every month once I get an issue with the network at my residence address (only a particular location) of not getting data services on my blackberry with Airtel connection.

                                      Since today evening my Blackberry data services is not working and I have already launched complaint against the same, complaint number
                                      is CBBCR[protected]

                                      I have been complaining every month about it as and when I face an issue. The issue gets resolves however not sure why this is very frequent. I have been using this connection along with my pre paid service since last 2 years however I never faced this issue. This is been there from last 3 months.

                                      I Sincerely appreciate you look into this ASAP.

                                        I appreciate the initiative and hope you can help me on this.

                                        I lost airtel dth connection due to No Signal issue between the dates January 1 to January 6 and January 19 to January 25. I was provided only refund of 70 Rs so far for the same even though refund must amount to 240 rupees.

                                        I was charged 250 Rupees for repair. Airtel doesn't charge new customers who are in warranty period and I am in the warranty period.

                                        Different people told different versions of why I was charged 250 making the information totally unbelievable and they charged even though I was in warranty period.

                                        My customer Id is [protected]. You can find below the mails I have sent to the customer care confirming the dates.

                                        Please help me as all the airtel nodal office people, the local service providers were very rude. I paid 5800 rupees for getting a new connection and am paying 600 rupees per month. But I get problems so often that I am not getting proper service.
