I recharged my airtel number [protected] on 24th January with Rs.500.
On the airtel website it was clearly written that Rs.500 talktime will be given on recharge of Rs.500. But after recharging with Rs.500 I got only Rs.442 as talktime. Can I know the reason for this misguidance?

      i have taken nano sim from airtel plan 300per month(post paid) .they promised that it will be activated within 24 hours but it is more than 2 weeks since i am in contact with their executive and till date my no. is not working which is highly disgusting.the no. airtel has given me is[protected].i think airtel services are not upto the mark and i made a mistake by choosing this service provider.

      Airtel Prepaid — Airtel Not fulfilling its promises

      I’m Airtel customer having bundled prepaid Airtel (Haeir) Handset. As per the Airtel Scheme I get a monthly free usage of 70 minutes for calling Airtel to Airtel. This was supposed to continue for 24 months. These 70 minutes free usage money from Airtel use to come in my cell by every 2nd of the month. But this month I haven’t received these 70 minutes as promised by Airtel. These 70 minutes usage was my soul temptation for purchasing this Airtel handset.
      Calling to Airtel customer care, its nodal officer and even its appellate officer has proved to be useless. May be you can help.

        AirTel — threat call

        This is very shame full for you guys that no Buddy is listening to my problem i nitin minocha i am the customer of your telecoms and your executive misbehaved with me on cell and threat me on call when i lodged the complaint after that i came to know that the number belong to air tel this is very shame full for the managers& trainers that they are giving this training to their team member the girl and the guy the girl name is sonia but i didn't know the name of the guy they both abused me and threat me that they will kill me i received the call from[protected] on[protected] at 12:22:10 and after that they both activate my hello tune for 365 days as i received this messages at 12:47 after that call that bludy bull girl and that guy taken my details and told me that we are coming to your place i am giving all this matter to court that airtel is leaking all the customer details as i am in secure in your network really this is very shame full my number is [protected]


        and after 24 hours i got the reply that we will give you waver for your hello tune i mean i not expecting all this plz look into this matter if any thing will be done than airtel is responcible for that

        Dear Airtel Team,

        I am K. Ramesh Kumar, SEF NO. BA. 0371795. HDFC Bank Cheque No. 027701 dated 10th of June 2009, Rs. 500.00. I had applied for Broad Band connection Value Combo 799 Plan Unlimited download. Mr. Edwin[protected] of your Executive visited my place and checked the connection, he said within seven days you will get a connection. On 8th Day Mr. Edwin, said to give a call to Mr. Guna[protected], When I given a call to Mr. Guna, (Four to Five Times I had given a call to Him), he said I am on Field you can contact Mr. Ravi. Finally I spoken to Mr. Ravi[protected], he said I will check the status and I will confirm you evening, Evening his given a call and said we cannot provide the connection due to DP Problem we will refund the amount he said. Day by day I am Giving call to Mr. Ravi Not responding, either you will give amount or not. At least tell the status.

        Keep on calling your Executive for getting my money. Your Airtel Executive not at all picking the calls, This is what your providing service & satisfaction to customer?

        Kindly take necessary steps for the same. At least you tell me whether you can pay the amount or not, so that I can reduce my phone bills instead of calling your executives.

          Airtel DTH Recharge — Non deposition of money

          On 20.8.12 I have send Rs. 300/- from Axis bank account to Airtel for DTH recharge through PAYTM but it has seen that money debited from my account but not reached to Airtel.

              from 4th to 7 th i went to pay bill on time but usually this centre is rude the attitude and behaviour of staff is horrible and they dont accept bills causing trouble to customers they make lame excuses like server down we dont accept credit and debit cards we dont accept cash plus some or the other way refuse to accept payments on time as there,s no parking most of the times cars r getting towed by the traffic police mostly its the neglegence o[censored]r staff hence forth i[censored] have same type of services we might stop using ur service . totally its a complain from 50 customers plz make a note of it seriously before we send it to press

                I was contacted by a certain Mr Dharamveer Singh from Delhi a few months ago, who told me he was calling from court and that i had an outstanding amount to be paid to Airtel for a number I used 2.5 years ago (number[protected]. I requested him to send me a copy of the bill, upon which i would be happy to pay the bill. He informed me that they cannot send me the bill, but i can walk into an airtel service center and pay the bill.

                I received a couple of more calls from the same person threatening to call my family and threatening that the pain i would go through if i didn't would be too much and it would be better if i just paid it off.
                I visited the airtel store in Madhapur, Hyderabad and asked to see the outstanding bill or at least the calls that were made that show me i had an outstanding payment. I was told that there is no way to see the bill

                It is my understanding that i had cleared all bills on the number before closing it down.

                I have since then written to airtel customer care ([protected]@in.airtel.com) and platinum care (since they now call me a platinum customer on my current mobile number) at least 5 times, with no concrete response. Here are some issues I faced with airtel:
                1. Threatened by their debt collection agency
                2. Upon asking to see the outstanding bill and offering to pay when i see the bill, I have been made to write to them at least 5-6 times with no effective response. Each time, my email to 121 goes to a different person with no complaint number and each person fails to revert except for an email which says, thank you for writing to us.
                3. Even when i walk into a store and offer to pay upon seeing a bill, they tell me I cant see the bill.

                My family has also received a call from the debt collection agency asking me to pay up.
                Threats of this nature are not appreciated. I dont know how much more I have ot follow up with airtel before they send me a copy of my bill. I am willing to pay upon receipt of my bill.

                Airtel — RECD THREATENING CALLS FROM AIRTEL AGENCY

                Sir/Madam,

                I had recived Threatning calls from Airtel Agency i.e J.P.Associate, Azad pur, Delhi. From this agency they made calls to me on My phone no[protected] from ph No [protected] & they also made the Threatning call to my friends & relative too. I already made a police complaint & cc send to the air tel officer Mr bharat on his id bharat.[protected]@airtel.in. But still i dont have recd any responce from both side.I request you to do the needful & take appropriate action against the.

                I am receiving a similar threat calls post my cancellation of 4G service. I had paid upfront the charges for first three months and decided to close down due to poor service, customer service as well as data bandwidth in our area. There were some freebees offered for data addition for which some charge was added by mistake which i was assured that would be taken away.

                I got a threatening call today that a warrant has been issued for non payment of some 1000 odd INR (65000 bailable and police will come any time and arrest me!) and the case would be in Delhi court only.

                I mentioned I did not receive anything in writing on which he said the courier came back undelivered, surprising because indian post leaves a note on door and private couriers call on mobile. None of which was a reality.

                I had to write n number of emails for disconnectivity, I also received some strange bill of 70000 in between which was nullified after many request.

                And now this !!!

                  Hi All,
                  My airtel Postpaid muner - [protected]. I am trying for mobile number portability reqest bby messaging PORT <Mobilenumber> to 1900. But i am getting the reply message from 1901 as 'You have entered a invalid number'. I had contacted Aitel customer care for this issue and they assured it would be resolved with 21 hours. But it was now almost 6 months over and whehter i am contacting customer and i am getting the same answer as 'it will be resolved soon'. So dont go to Airtel products and customer service is very very worst.

                  Airtel Postpaid service — Airtel has changed my DAP bill plan without my consent

                  My mobile no /[protected]
                  I had already written a complaint to you about you have changed my Bill Plam frm DAP Rs. 300 to DAP Rs. 400.
                  My accounts department has taken a note of this. I am in Corporate plan. My accounts department has told me get a fresh bill with credit for Rs. 200/- for last two monts DAP and asked you to send me bill. Accounts is not raedy to rereimburse me the bill.
                  If I do not get the fresh bill and your intimation in couple of days time I will be forved to go to other service providers.
                  You have not answered to my eralier complaint. Please answer or my colleauges will go away from Airtel who are in Airtel Corporate Plan.

                    Hi,
                    I have a Post Paid Connection ([protected]) from Airtel & have requested so many time to terminate the services & billing to the customer care thru phone calls & e-mail, but every time a new representative call on my alternate no. & create a new story from last two months.

                    Last call was a gentle request from Airtel representative to restore the service on behalf of waving off all the dues but again all the promises from Airtel guys are failed & current bill is showing all the dues which is already waved off by verbal commitment from them.

                    Airtel has now started cheating their constomers by falling down as per the commitment.

                      We purchased airtel 4G LTE by paying 2600 for the device 4 months back. Once the allotted 9GB was utilized (which was suppose to be every month and until the bill is generated) the Internet speed in poor till date. When we contacted customer care they asked to pay 1800/- so that they can increase the quota (4GB) but no improvement in the speed and waste of money. After 22nd of every month, the speed is moderate for 3 days but then we receive msg that allotted (9GB) quota is utilized 100% and then the speed becomes poor which is unreasonable and unfair as we doesn't download anything as the speed is Only moderate. When i logged a complaint at 51619, they said service engineer will attend to this issue but no track or response to the complaint so far

                      No satisfaction in this last 3 months and also on purchasing this device with poor inter speed

                        i m user of airtel number[protected] from 5 years. it was a demo number. suddenly my sim has beem blocked and deactivated without any information.it has been reissued to other person. i am bearing loss in business and other related problems.i want my number back.

                          I AM USING AIRTEL PREPAID MOBILE SERVICES. MY MOBILE NO IS [protected].
                          My main balance is 23.00 INR.
                          I have done recharge by a coupon of rupees 8.00 INR for 30 minutes unlimited 3G for validity of 1 day .

                          the USSD code displayed recharge is successful...but when i surf the internet the main balance is 15 Rupees only...

                          then i called the 198 for complain....after so many hold on tunes the phone finally connected to customer executive and i explained the same that my main balance is deducted while i surf the internet besides of having recharge for 3G already....

                          the lady told me that your deducted balance will be transferred to your balance within 3-4 hours...
                          and told me that check your 3G balance by dialing *123*12#...i have done it it displayed the balance is 30.00 INR means 30 minutes...
                          then i surf the internet for almost 30 minutes and that 3G recharge is 0.0 INR...

                          then i once again done recharged by a coupon of rupees 8.00 INR for 30 minutes unlimited 3g for validity of 1 day.
                          the USSD code displayed recharge is successful...and that 3G recharge is once again 30.00 INR...

                          but then again the main balance is deducted and remaining balance is only 9 Rupees...
                          and then i checked the 3G balance ..it also deducted and 28.00 INR..means it also deducted too...

                          i again called 198 for complaining deduction of balance...i explain everything to the person and told that this is happened for second time and airtel not returning the balance...he told me that i m transferring your call to another person and explain it to him and your balance will be transferred..


                          but the hold on tune goes on for 15 minutes and no one pick up the call... what to do...

                          this is the second time i submit the complaint against airtel...and believe me this company is worst cellular company...

                          airtel bharti ...if this time anything happens...i will publish it to all because i have recording of the call i made to 198...

                          hey why do you call it complaint number because you never solve anyone's complain... or not even listen the complain....

                          why dont you call it hold on number because it is always hold on like you...

                          I recharged with Rs. 40.. Because they sad that on IVR if recharge with Rs. 40 I will get full talktime but I didnt got the remaining balance of Rs. 5.74. which should have to transfered in 48 hrs from recharge.

                            This is reference to the service provided by Airtel. I have this connection from a very long time and i have no time to check the Airtel Invoice regularly. I have checked Airtel Invoice today and seen they are charging for Value Added Services Like Hello Tunes and other Services. In this regard, i have talked with Customer Care of Airtel and I haven't get the positive reply from them.

                            I have checked my last six invoices, in all the invoices they charged for these services and have mentioned the SMS on 6781 and 69602 but i never use this service and never sent any message to these numbers.

                            Airtel thinks that people have no time to check their invoices, that why thay are charging extra in the invoice, i think lot of People facing this problem. For this service, people can go to consumer court that without their permission, Airtel is charging the amount for the services which is automatcally generated by Airtel.

                            But in the same time, I had irritated by your service. I had been charged Rs.30/- in each two times. One in last Nov.2009, in which I receive a message like “you have been charged Rs.30 for renewal of chat” and by mistakenly I called several land line number of your office in Chennai by spending nearly Rs.7/- after that I spoke with your customer care person and get back the amount of Rs.30/- Like that I received message as “Thank you for subscribing Airtel Radio, you have been charges Rs.30 for 30 days” This time also I was spoke with you customer care executive, till I don’t know whether the charged amount re-credited or not. No received messages about that.

                            I know from my friends circle, this problem always persist in Airtel service, so that only they avoiding Airtel. “What a bad opinion on you”. Even though you spent allot of money towards your advertisement what is the use on it. “The real advertisement is your existing customers’ opinion”

                            Even though, the above smellier problems persist, so many customers don’t like to change the mobile number by switched over to other service provider. Whenever there will be a facility to change the service provider without change of number, that time you will loss a lot of customers including me. To avoid this type of situation, you should stop the unwanted charges debited by you in our account.

                            this is to inform you that my mobile number is [protected]..in the name of mrs anshu aggarwal. i disconnected this number on 24 th of december and after that i destroyed the sim card of this number. my billing cycle is 20th to 20th.....on 5th an i received a cnformation call frm airtel customer care that my number has been permanently disconnected..i paid the remaining dues from 20th decmber to 20th january at NAC airtel showroom and the executive over there told me that my number has been permanently disconnected.and i dont have to pay anyn amount......bt i got a bill for februry and march....and when i went to the airtel office they told me that someone had restarted the number.i never told them to resstart the number and i dont know that with whose permission they started this number.i destroyed the sim in december and i also paid all the dues till january and after that also i am recieving such bills...once again i contacted customer care and they assured me that my number was permanently disconnected ...they told me that i dint have to pay any more dues and i also got a conformation call from airtel..bt now i have received a letter from airtel regarding payment of dues..... i want you to look into this matter.........

                            I have a prepaid airtel phone by number [protected]. Yesterday I purchased a new phone and when i inserted the card, i got a message that the settings cant be installed and to contact 19118. I tried to activate the GPRS and I dont know if it did or not. but I am getting messages that I have been charged so much every one hour or 30 minutes. Totally they charged me more than 80 rupees yesday and i havent browsed anything AT ALL. I tried just going to google and it said page cant be displayed. but i was charged 80 rupees and I dont what that was for. I called the customer care(charged .50 ruppes) and they said i browsed a website airtelgprs.com for 25 minutes and they charged me 30 ruppes once. they disconnected me about 4 times. i asked the agent to connect me to a supervisor. that supervisor was talking in hindi and i asked if he can speak in english and he disconnected. I got a message at 11.57 PM(midnight) that I have activated the caller tune and charged 30 rupees. i havent asked for caller tune and i dont know the caller tune they activated. I was shocked and i tried calling the care in the morning and i am not able to connect. I have a airtel broadband internet service and what I am plaiing to do is.. I am not going to pay the bill for airtel(about 800 rupees) so i can can compensate myself. Bottomline is, Airtel charged me money and they are not even responding.So, I am not going to pay the broadband service and am switching to Beam Internet..Gautam

                            I am still getting bills & daily calls for paying the bills for May. I called up the customer service people many times & they have not done anything except telling me someone will contact me.

                            Till now I have ringed costumer care many a times but no result and today Rs.37 is left in my account.

                            I am fed up with this, as Airtel previously activated my STB in name of another person after which struggled a lot for solving this matter.
                            AND now again.
                            Why don't you pin for financial transactions and confirmation system, if you can't solve my matter and give my money back on my account.

                            If you still can't do something then do me a favour just take your digital tv set top box and dish antennae back. And I would opt for another DTH service.

                            I have recharged of Rs.310 and got Rs.15 as bonus. On 31st August,2011 in early morning I Got sms from Airtel digital tv that the movies I have requested are being activated for Rs.40 at channel no.155 .
                            I was astonished that what's this soon I called customer care And I give all the case the costumer care executive, then he transferred call to senior officer, for as all this case he told me the mobile phone no.from which request was made after confirmation I hit to know that the no.used for requesting the movies was not known by my and neither it belong to any of my relatives nor of. the friends


                            the customer care executive regretted for this fault and said the balance deducted will be send to my account .

                            Till now I have ringed costumer care many a times but no result and today Rs.37 is left in my account.

                            I am fed up with this, as Airtel previously activated my STB in name of another person after which struggled a lot for solving this matter.
                            AND now again.
                            Why don't you pin for financial transactions and confirmation system, if you can't solve my matter and give my money back on my account.

                            If you still can't do something then do me a favour just take your digital tv set top box and dish antennae back. And I would opt for another DTH service.

                                I am using Airtel last 4 years, I feel the network coverage is good but the TRAIFF is not at all good, today I have checked to recharge my #, I got shocked the call rates are hiked very much. It will burden the customer and also think about to see the alternate network, I m telling frankly I also thought the same. Because you have increased the call rates very much high and cut down the msg facility is too worst.
                                For Ex:
                                If I recharge bonus pack Rs 33 means STD is 30/min. Apart from 33 rs I need pay 2.40 RS daily if I make a call that’s means I need to pay 216 rs etc (2.40*90=216).
                                The msg also same, if I recharge 79rs I will get only 1000 msg for 60 days.
                                I am not getting why Airtel has increased the Call rates drastically??? I feel very bad about this. Kindly do needful to customers. Compare to other networks Airtel offers are very less and expensive.

                                    I am Ashok Patil, a resident of Bangalore. Last year I ported my mobile service connection to Airetel India from Vodafone services. I was under a plan which was moderate for a middle class working professional. As the days passed by i realized that my bill amount started increasing. Since i could not afford it anymore i planned to port my number once again. When i requested the same, i got a call from an employee of Airtel Retention Team who promised me that they will provide a net discount of 50Rs on my entire bill value. I was quite convined and planned to stick around.
                                    But even after that my bills almost remained same. Infact got high again. So my troublesome days started where in i used to call up the customer service extention most of the time of my day and in turn never used to get a solution. Every advisor used to make me wait for long minutes and either disconnect or put me to another line. I registered many complaints regarding the mismatch in my bill to almost every possible department in Airtel.
                                    Meanwhile i used to pay all my bills and enquire about a solution for the mismatch that was happening. One fine day when i spoke to a particular advisor, the truth i got to know was mind staggering. All the while i was not actually getting the discount. My bill was just manipulated in a way to make me feel that i was actually getting the discount. My bill always used to be so complicated that even the customer service advisors were unable to explain it. So it was like increasing the cost price of a product by 50Rs and the telling the customer that i will sell it for 50Rs less.
                                    All the while airtel was just manipulating my bill and was telling me that i am actually getting discount.
                                    When i did move to social networking site (Facebook) regarding this issue, a lady named Narinder contacted me from Delhi and introduced herself as one of the employee from an influential post. She did promise me that i will be compensated for the issue that i faced and assured me that this won't repeat in future. She made me wait for 25 days and still counting but still unable to reach. I have to call her up every time at my expenses and still in vain.
                                    I please request you to go through my complaint and provide me a necessary compensation along with a future resolution.

                                    AirTel — Misguidance

                                    I had bought Nokia phone three weeks back and with that I had got an airtel sim ([protected]) which I recharged with Rs. 195 recharge coupon for the life time and after that I did not used sim and kept it for use in future but Rs. 15 were automatically deducted for Hello Tune and on contacting customer care I got the reply that I will get back that amount within two days but nothing came out then on again contacting customer care i got the same reply. Now the situation is that I cannot contact customer care from that number because the services to customer care has been barred on that sim. This is not the question of Rs. 15 but this is the question is how your customer care is making innocent public fool. Hope you will provide me Rs. 15 and allow my number in customer care.

                                    Airtel — customercare mis guidance

                                    dear sir,
                                    I was using airtel postpaid mobile from about 1.5 years.Two months ago, i converted my no. into prepaid because i was not satisfied with my bill as it was much more than my expectations.
                                    Yesterday airtel blocked my incomming and outgoing.When i asked customer care about firstly they told me that they did'nt recived my doccuments.Then i rushed to there showroom to submit my doccuments again but there i came to know that my doccuments have been recived.Than i called customer care again, then they said the same thing that they already have doccuments and said there is some other problem and they cant tell bcoz their computer is not showing any problem.when i asked to register a complaint they didn't gave me complaint no. and said i can confirm from 121 anytime.Third time when i called customer care in morning to confirm my complaint this time they say that my no. was barred bcoz of verification problem.As i remember when i converted this no. into prepaid, i got a call for verification and i confirmed everything to them and they are blocking my no. after 2 months .
                                    everytime when i call airtel i get different answers from customer care. and now if i didn't get any satisfactry answer this time i m gng to consumer court.

                                      Today morning at around 08:54am I recieved a missed call from +92 [protected]. When I tried to call back it's not connecting. I have no relatives and friends from Pakistan from where the call is been originated. Hence concerned a lot that how did my Airtel number reached to unknown hands.
                                      This looks like a fraud call and request Airtel to take appropriate action to avoid such misuse of their valuable customer numbers.

                                      I happened to recieve the call from [protected] today at 11:46am too. Hence I recieved one call from +92 series on 06th Feb and 2nd call from +92 series today. If you notice the numbers are different but originates from Pakistan. This time I've not tried to call back.
