I have been using Airtel broadband from 2006, i started with 256 kbps, and i paid Rs.650 unlimited(night).
My plan was upgraded to 2mbps(unlimited) in[protected] for rs 1299 rent/month. later i came to know my friend(chennai) is also using the same plan but for the monthly rent rs 499. why is this difference??

i have logged atleast 8 complaints over the past 3 years for frequent internet connection and disturbance in line. but still i stayed with airtel because i liked the service.

please escalate and explain. i am really frustrated being a customer for 6 long years., why am i being robbed for so long???

    From my prepaid account number money is getting deducted due to some value added services(VAS) activation. Problem here is i didnt activated any VAS by myself. It will be getting activated and when balance goes low we'll be knowing about this. If we ask our money they will be telling some stupid rules. In which of their rule its telling they can make their customer in trouble. I was travelling to an unknown place my balance was some wat around 20rupees. In between i saw lik balance is below one rupee.it is disgusting that in such situation airtel is playing such a dirty game with customer.this type of problem happen many times with me, even my frnds also suffered.If this is how airtel is making money then shame on them.

    please help me...why are you simply deducting the account balance from my mobile..just because of this im facing a lot many problems..please deactivate all those useless VAS messages which is of no use to me...i dont want any kind of VAS messages in my mobile...

      I have requested for a new Airtel Broadband connection in bellandur 3 weeks back (application number 598308), and has paid 3 months advance rental for the same (3450 Rs). when requested for the connection, they did technical feasibility and collected the documents from me (Prameela Enterprises), after collecting money and documents, they told that they will install the connection within 48 hrs, but no one turned back. when called, the sales officer is giving installation guy number, and the installation guy is saying that port is not available, and will connection when someone vacate that area. I told, to cancel the connection request in that case, and they asked me to contact prameela enterprises itself. Now nobody is picking up the call, then i registered the complaint to the airtel customer care (complaint number:[protected], but as usual no response from them even after 48 hrs... Either connection has to be provided, else they have to return the money.

        AirTel — outgoing details

        I am using airtel company's prepaid connection with No. [protected] & i want to know my outgoing details with call duration for the month of April 2009 up to 13th
        My mobile No.[protected] activated caller tune without giving any instruction. Many time I told to Reliance Customer Care but as on today same is not de-activated. You r requested to take action immediately.

              Subject : Unauthorised Deduction of Balance by Bharti Airtel Ltd. from the account of Pre-paid Mobile No.[protected].

              Dear Sir/Madam,

              I am writing this mail on account of receipt of various unsolicited calls in the above said Mobile Phone despite the same being registered with Bharti Airtel Ltd. under DND Register as can be verified from the call details as available with Bharti Airtel Ltd.

              Apart from the above the Officials of Bharti Airtel Ltd. have been making unauthorized deductions through these unsolicited calls.

              Today one missed call was received in this Mobile connection from the scrupulous Moblie No.[protected]. On making a reverse call in this mobile No.[protected], a deduction of Rs.15/- has been effected by Bharti Airtel Ltd.

              If it is presumed that such unsolicited call has been made with no involvement of Bharti Airtel Ltd., NO SUCH DEDUCTION COULD HAVE BEEN ARRANGED BY BHARTI AIRTEL LTD. on making of any call to this Mobile No.[protected].

              The fact of such deduction proves that Bharti Airtel Ltd. is hand in glove in this process of making unsolicited calls and to thereby cheat the subscribers through such mechanism. It is also highly surprising that on making a call to this Moblie No.[protected] from MTNL Phone, the system is making a declaration that no connection with such number is existing and that the said Mobile No.[protected] is not valid.

              In the past also such illegal activities of Bharti Airtel Ltd. was intimated to you for necessary action with the request to ensure that such activities are not perpetrated upon me in future. However, Bharti Airtel Ltd. is not desisting from its nefarious activities.

              It is therefore again requested that the matter be investigated at your level immediately and necessary orders be passed to credit back the said amount of Rs.15/- illegally deducted by Bharti Airtel Ltd., failing which appropriate legal proceedings would be initiated in the matter as the cost and peril of Bharti Airtel Ltd.

              Please further ensure that such illegal activities are not perpetrated upon me in future under any circumstances.

              prepaid number — balance against complaint

              i have one airtel prepaid [protected] last 5 years and now my balance dedact evry day 2or5 rupees per day i lounge my complaint many time for airtel customer care but any budy not give me a wright clearence i pleasure request for u pls solve my problem asap shyam.

              Airtel Bharti Ltd — unauthorised deduction of charges without providing services

              I had tried to download application software " sms guard" on 21.09.08 for my nokia mobile N82 through AirtellLIVE service of Airtell . During the process of downloading a meassage appeared that this software is not compatible to your mobile then I closed the airtell live service . To my suroprise just after a moment I received a sms to my mobile regarding deduction of charges Rs 99.00 from my prepaid account.
              Then I tcontacted at 121 and 198 service of air tell but only recorded msgs received regarding different type of services and every time Phone disconnected after hearing recorded msgs . the phone could not be connected to customer care officer of airtell so that I can request for refund Of Rs 99.00 .
              The web site of airtell also doesnt have any sercvice to receive such type of complaint .

              Airtel — Unauthorised deduction from my airtel phone connection

              Dear Sir,
              I have a airtel connection of cell phone no. [protected]. Since last 2 months a web site namely "dada sub 10" is deducting Rs. 10/- per day from my airtel connection. Several times we complained but still have deducting Rs. 10/- every day which is totaly un-authorised and illegal. This will be treated a last complain from our side. After this complaints, I will be move to Indian Consumer Forum.
              Kindly treat it most urgent and stop the unauthorised deduction and also ensure the refunding of all deducted amount within 24 hours.

              Since last two months i have been receiving a message on my airtel postpaid no([protected]) saying that "thank you for using india_pack subscription.you have been charged Rs.10 "whereas i never used any such subscription.I am very annoyed with this as money is being deducted forcefully without my knowledge.Please do the needful to stop this forceful deduction of my money at the earliest otherwise I will be forced to file a complaint with the consumer forum for the same.

              There was a balance of Rs 150 on my prepaid mobile # [protected] on 16/08/09 and next morning it was left with just Re.1 on it. There was no call made from this number during that duration , also the customer service wasnt reachable as there was no option on their voice machine to contact any representative. I want this complaint to be attended as soon as possible.

              I am a prepaid customer with Mob No. [protected]. I have been charged on daily basis for renewal of FHM Model service since 20 Oct 09 (approx.).               Airtel Prepaid — unauthorised account balance deduction

              I got a message like these :
              "Thanks for downloading Hungama Content Game from Airtel. You have been charged Rs 99. Filmy Buzz and Pics *321*69#"

              i didn't even open access airtel live and customer care employee said i have downloaded the above by following some link which i did not do and he said i will not get any refund. I would want the concerned authorities to give my amount back or this shows open cheating by deducting balance without any authorization.

              TO WHOMSOEVER IT MAY CONCERN

              THIS IS TO BRING TO YOUR KIND NOTICE THAT THERE HAS BEEN VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND UNSOLICITED APPROACH IN RESOLVING MY COMPLAINT NOS. CBDAL[protected] LODGED ON[protected], COMPLAINT NO CBDMO[protected] LODGED ON[protected] AND COMPLAINT NO CBDOV[protected] LODGED ON[protected].

              MY NUMBER IS [protected] REGISTERED UNDER THE NAME OF SHARANGDEV SINHA.

              THE DETAILS OF MY COMPLAINT ARE:

              ON THE EVENING OF 20TH SEPTEMBER 2010, I GOT A MESSAGE FROM AIRTEL TO GO TO HUNGAMA CONTENT FOR GAMES AND OTHER RECREATIONAL STUFF. THIS MESSAGE HAD NO DETAILS ABOUT THE CHARGES THE SUBSCRIBER NEEDS TO PAY FOR VISITING SUCH SITE AND IT LOOKED LIKE ANOTHER PROMOTIONAL OFFER BY AIRTEL.THEREAFTER AMOUNT OF 99 RS WAS DEDUCTED WHEN I VISITED THE SITE AND TO MY DISMAY, NOTHING WAS DOWNLOADED IN MY MOBILE. ON ENQUIRING WITH THE CUSTOMER CARE EXECUTIVES REPEATEDLY, THEY WERE CLUELESS AS TO WHETHER I HAD DOWNLOADED ANY CONTENT OR A GAME BECAUSE IN MY HANDSET, I HAD RECEIVED ABSOLUTELY NOTHING.
              I WAS TOLD ON 22ND SEPTEMBER 2010 THAT SOMEBODY WOULD CALL FROM AIRTEL NOT LATER THAN 24TH SEPTEMBER 2010 TO CHECK THE CREDENTIALS OF MY UNAUTHORIZED DEDUCTION AND AS EXPECTED, NOBODY CALLED UP. SO, I HAD TO CALL 121 ON 25TH SEPTEMBER 2010 AND AFTER THE CUSTOMER CARE EXECUTIVE COULD NOT RESOLVE THE ISSUE, MY CALL WAS TRANSFERRED TO ONE MR. LAXMIKANT FROM AIRTEL WHO TOO WAS HELPLESS. I WAS TOLD BY HIM TO HOLD THE LINE FOR 30 SECONDS BUT THERE WAS NO RESPONSE FROM MR. LAXMIKANT FOR THE NEXT 15 MINUTES.

              MAY I PLEASE REQUEST SOME PROFESSIONAL PEOPLE TO LOOK INTO THIS WHO ACTUALLY HAVE THE AUTHORITY TO TAKE DECISIONS ON BEHALF OF THE COMPANY AND RESOLVE THE ISSUE?

              Bharti Airtel — Balance deducted from Prepaid account

              Dear sir / Madam

              I am a prepaid customer of Airtel Mobile, For Last five days my account is being deducted for Rs 5 on daily basis, and i am receiving the message

              " Thanks for using gamesclub Subscription service from airtel. you have been charged Rs 5. Get latest games at Http://gclub.in/ea"

              for Your info i have not activated this service on my mobile.

              Complaint for the same was lodged with customer care on 12 march 2011. and informed the customer care executive to stop all the services which ever are active on my number, but regret no action was taken from the service provider.
              The customer care executive informed to send an Sms STOP to 121. the same was sent more than 5 times and the reply received was no services are active on your mobile

              Also A sum of Rs 99 has been deducted from the account for downloading of bikinimodel_WP326 on 7 March 2011.


              Again the same complaint was registered on 14 march 2011. but still no action was taken.
              The Request reference Number Is CBDPA[protected].

              Then on 15 March visited nearest retailer at Vasco for Help. The representative called the customer care and registered the complaint and was assured that all the services are disabled and no Balance will be deducted in future.

              Again on 16 march 2011 a sum of Rs 5 is deducted from my Account for the same reason.

              When visited local retailer with the problem, The concerned when called customer care for the reasons, the customer executive was rude and di not want to speak and disconnected the line.

              Also these types of problems are encountered by the customers also, when we call the customer care, they keep our call on hold and never return back to attend the call, This is the manner in which the India's biggest service provider is providing its service to their customers???????????

              Please look in the matter and revert.

              AirTel — Unauthorised deduction of amount from prepaid account balance

              for the mobile no.[protected], an unauthorised amount of Rs 200 was deducted about a week back, Thisis a prepaid no. Upon calling the customer care no., multiple times, the matter is referred to the senior person who does not answer. When contacted by e-mail, there was no response either by the customer care address. This issue was then escalated to the Appellate Authority. There is also no response to the same. Please help,

              Airtel — Unauthorized Deduction without Calling

              Sir,

              It is to inform you that I recharged day days before an amounting to Rs. 50/-. This phone is used by my aged mother to receive call only and sometime mother give me miss call as because I am working in ONGC and have to visit/tour different places.

              But regret to inform you that all of sudden without single call, the balance comes down to Rs. 9.40 as on today. I would request you to kindly send the call list so that I could find where mistake is done.

              Dear sir/madam, this complaint is regarding wrongful deduction of my mobile account balance(mob no. [protected]) for Rs. 50/- on 11 Sep 11 by bharti airtel. I have been using airtel mobile connection for long and several times being charged for some amount for the services i have not used or requested for. This time some game has been activated on my no. without my consent or request and Rs. 50/- has been deducted for the same. When I contacted the coustmer care for tje same, Mr. Ajit Singh who attended my complain told me that the game has been activated by me and the amount cannot be refunded. I have forwarded a request to stop the service on my no. Sir, this is totally a helpless situation for a mobile user when the service provider deducts the balance on the name of. Activation of some or the other service and the customer has t io bear the loss. This is a fraud on the part of service provider and harresment of the customer.               AirTel — UNAUTHORISED DEDUCTION OF BALANCE FROM AIRTEL PREPAID

              today to my surprise I see my prepaid balance (my no. [protected]) getting deducted by rs 10 without getting any mssg through sms or any other mode. This is something which is been happening for last 2 months that suddenly my balance gets deducted by some amount without knowing which service have been activated illegally. I HAVE NEVER EVER APPLIED FOR ANY AIRTEL SERVICES EIITHER BY SENDING SMS OR CALLING ANY NUMBER. By calling airtel helpline, I was told that there's crap services as below

              2. Dialogue Bazzi

              3. India Tweets Trend

              got activated which caused series of deduction each day.

              I'm SHOCKED...!!!

              They registered by complain (no.[protected]by Geeta) & was told that I would be getting rs.10 reimbursement for yesterday's cut but not for one's before that as its against co.'s policy...well I dont see any such policy in airtel's official website. Is this the way airtel is making money profits when all other telecom co. making losses??

              Could anybody please help me on this as this is not the first instance...I've seen one of my office colleague fighting with airtel helpline for this stupid GYAN service getting activated unknowingly. WHY THE HECK WOULD ANYBODY GO FOR THAT CRAP GYAN SERVICE WHEN THERE IS SO MUCH FREE GYAN ON WEB??

                I had Airtel postpaid connection [protected]. During that time I had deposited Rs 6000/- with Airtel for international roaming connection. ( bill no 839 dated 30/6/07). On March 4th 2012 I converted post paid to prepaid connection. while converting the Airtel outlet at Vijaynagar told me that the deposit amount will be returned within 60 days.
                Till now I have not received the amount. When I checked with at customer care, they ask me to contact later. This is happening for quite some time. This regard I had written mails to Airtel presence on Oct 21 2012 (nodalofficer.[protected]@airtel.in; [protected]@in.airtel.com) and later also. So far I have not received any response and money from Airtel.
                Request your help in solving this issue.

                  Since the time I got the Airtel 4G LTE Wifi Connection (Number [protected]) couple of months ago, it has not worked one full day without interruption. The ZTE router disconnects at least 6 to 7 times in a day and I end up losing my work and have to re-start again. I have filed complaints with Airtel many times, the most recent complaint numbers being 48278832 logged on 21-Jan-2013 and 48499852 logged on 1st Feb 2013. Many technicians have come and gone, but the problem persists. Can Airtel depute some senior technician who understands the subject to come and trouble-shoot the issue and fix it once for all?

                    Dear Sir/Madam,

                    I have registered my mobile number [protected] for "Fully blocked category" DND service. I have registered on 22-Jan-2013 and received an SMS confirming the registration with reference number: W[protected].

                    Ideally it should stop by 31st Jan 2013. But, I am still getting 1 or 2 advertising calls everyday from Airtel through various numbers:[protected]

                    They are calling at 7 or 8 in the morning, I'm mostly on roaming, whenever I accidentally answer the call, they are charging me 1.50 every minute. Also, I cannot call customer care everytime as I am on roaming. They charge 1.50 per minute to talk to customer care and then disconnect the call halfway. This happened thrice after speaking to a customer care representative, they ask me to hold the line and then after a couple of minutes of some irritating music, the call gets disconnected. To reach to a customer care representative again and explain my problem, I have to wait for 5 minutes on call and Airtel is eating away all my balance money.

                    Please help me recover my losses and save me from this harassment.

                          Same thing occured with me at 6:43 p.m on the evening of 17th July 2008.Only if some way we can challenge the company each time it creates such nonsense.

                          AirTel — Terrible Customer Service

                          I write to share the wonderful time that I’ve been having over the past 24 hrs, thanks to Airtel. At about 2 pm on 13th June 2008 my Mobile Office (GPRS) stopped working – after I’ve been using it for the last two years. Anyway – so I called up 121 (the custome care number) & spent about 3 hrs with them from 6 pm to 9 pm. I was told by various people that my “mobile office has not been activated”. When I told these same folks that I seem to have been using a service & paying for it for the last 2 years without activation – the standard answer was “I am sorry for the inconvenience”!! When I asked why my services were deactivated WITHOUT any request from my side – sure enough – no answer! In the meanwhile I got a sms which said & I quote – “As per your request your GPRS Rental – 499 plan has been stopped”. That of course came as a complete double whammy.

                          Anyway – I was promised by all the guys – including a couple of supervisors that I spoke to – that it will be activated in an hour. It hasn’t happened yet – and I am writing to you after 14 hrs of my last call. Today morning when I’m trying to call 121 I am being told by the IVR “Press 1 to unbar your Airtel Mobile” after which the call promptly gets disconnected.

                          I would strongly recommend - please stay away from Airtel!!!

                          But it's been one month and still my no. is suspended and not disconnected and i am given bill of Rs.400 where my all incoming, outgoings and sms also are blocked.
                          to last option i have desided to to give complaint on your website,

                              Airtel — No help on ivrs

                              Sir i am a regular user of airtel in orissa circle since long. Some days ago when i tried to talk for a complaint on 121 the ivrs went on providing me all the options except to forward it to the call centre executive. I have tried more than 200 times but i cant get a way. Pl help

                              Airtel Broadband — customer care executive misleading.

                              my airtel broadband[protected] bill was around 2000 and i got a call from a consultant on behalf of airtel that you have to just pay Rs 1450 and your rest of ammount will be waived off..but till now i have'nt got any waiver..and whenever i call customer care they say that you have to pay your outstanding amount. This clearly mean that they(the executives) are misleading the customers so as to acheive their own targets.

                              bharti airtel communications — deduction of balance without notice and then delaying in services

                              i am an airtel user for last 3-4 years, few days back hello tunes pack had been activated on my no without my consent and 15 rupees has been deducted from my account. i lodged a complaint regarding this on 198 and they replied me that they will return back my balance in 48 hrs but i din't happened. this is happening for the second time with me and this time i will switch my no to idea and lodge a complaint in consumer court.

                              Airtel — Misleading Customer Care Service and Delay in connection transfer without notice

                              I was about to shift to my new home on August 14th, 2011 and hence I raised a transfer request of my airtel internet broadband connection and telephone landline service on August 8th. At the time of request they told me that it would take "MAX" 10 days for the transfer to be done (i.e. by August 18th, it should be done) and you'll be charged additional 300 bucks for that. I was ok with it, but just to know the status I called these guys on August 12th and asked them if they could come and do the transfer on Saturday (August 13th) itself as I was shifting in the same locality and also my new home already had an airtel connection that just needed activation. The customer care guy in his sweet honey coated voice agreed and said that it will be done on the weekend. I waited and waited for whole weekend - no one came.

                              I again called them on Tuesday - August 16th for the connection - they said the same thing, "It will be done by end of the day". I told them clearly that I need the internet connection as I’ve taken “work from home” option and I can’t work till they get me the connection. They “Updated” it in their “Database” and said that they’ve put it on “High priority” and “Urgent” and everything will be done “ASAP”. Nothing happened and so another day passed and nothing happened.

                              The most annoying thing of calling customer care center is that there is no direct way to talk to the customer care representative. Here is the whole process which I feel you note it down in case you really want to talk to the person for "HELP". It might save your time, energy, money and some frustration.

                              Press 1 for English
                              Press 1 for airtel broadband connection subscriber
                              Press 1 to enter the telephone number
                              Press the number
                              Press 1 to confirm
                              Press 5 for other queries
                              Press 9 for talking to customer care executive.

                              The days passed and passed and I kept on calling them daily twice and thrice, following the above mentioned idiotic process. Every day the customer care people would tell me the same thing - "We have updated the status, we have put it as high priority and it will be done by end of the day". Till now I've not seen their end of the day, and it is already August 23rd today.

                              Another annoying thing I experienced while talking to customer care people is that, I got my mobile number changed in their database some months ago but I seriously don't know what kind of temporary databases they are following that they still refer to my old number. Heights of frustration happened to me when despite calling them everyday thrice from my number and getting it updated daily, I'd end up listening to the same old number from them, the very next day.

                              I am really pissed off with such poor services that had happened with Airtel in past 8 days. If this is the way they solve their “High Priority” issues and complains then I don’t even want to know what they do to other complains and requests.

                              Now after much emails and calling they have given the following reply:

                              "Thank you for writing to airtel and the opportunity to assist you.

                              We regret to inform you that we are unable to process your request for shifting the connection due to some technical constraint in the area.

                              Further, we would like to inform you that there is no outstanding amount in your account and the next bill generation date for your account is[protected].

                              This is ridiculous. When I raised the request on August 8th, why didn't they tell me about the issue that time? I'd already spent around 300 bucks calling your customer care center for support and everyday they just made a fool of me. Are they going to compensate for that?
                              And how are they going to compensate for the internet online business losses that I've made because of their poor service?
                              I don't want to pay any money for this month internet at all. And I will not pay any additional 300 rs shifting charges since these guys gave so much inconvenience to me regarding the transfer request. They shouldn't have committed to me for August 18th if you couldn't do that. Shame on them seriously!!!!

                              I am a Airtel user, its services best than other networks but last 1 month i am facing lots of difficulty i Cant able to connect to customer care no 121 or 198 . My IVR is blocked i complaint many times there is no proper response. Airtel agents arr not having helping tendency to customers I need my IVR get released very soon otherwise i will make this issue to consumer court.

                                I have registered my mobile nos as DND and then to I am getting calls from the telecaller . In spite of several complaint to the mobile service provider i.e, airtel things are really not working. the customer care executive says we will refresh, and bla , bla .after some days the marketing calls get started I have been irritated by this futile efforts from the airtel . this issue has been for more than two years .                                     I got the call from the Airtel Mr. Vinod Murthy, He told me that I
                                    need to co-ordinate with the Airtel shop, and ask them this voucher and
                                    incident without proof. This can¿t be a address properly solution,

                                    is not accepting after all thing politely I told he just seek note down the my

                                    I wanted my returns tobe credited on the priority, with dignity; this issue is

                                    After 1hr, I was about to call my manager, i was unable to call due to

                                    the get transfer this call to supervisor, After 45min he transfer the call to
                                    supervisor. As per the update him, It will take 2 days ,and the voucher is

                                    I really got suprise Is this problem is so complex that Airtel will take 2
                                    working days for such case.

                                    This is waste scenario happen,In the recent times your services are pathetic infact pathetic is an under statement. I really feel bad about this services as the airtel. What’s SLA for this issue.
                                    Every day i need to call up customer care about this and take the follow up . Is this problem is this much critical can’t be solved within time? This incident happens on 26th Jan 2013 and still now no solution , Every executive is playing just pass by pass ? is this a Government work or what?

                                      If money crises are there for the company, then they must take a bowl,stand on the road & start bagging.
